Revival Hunger

that there is no distance in the spirit, lord, that this is an anointed word, and, father, we just thank you for that.

I have supernatural utterance to explain your word in such a clear fashion, lord, that it's not complicated.

Your Holy Spirit brings revelation, knowledge that the eyes of our understanding are enlightened and, father, that we may know with surety the hope of your calling, that each one of us has a ministry, each one of us has a calling, and we're walking in that calling and we're walking in that anointing that you've given us, father, we're coming up all together to the next level in you, in Jesus' name, amen.

Well, I just wanted to talk tonight about revival hunger Amen, revival hunger.

And so I was reading my Bible yesterday and several things in Psalm 25 jumped out at me, and so today's the 26th, right.

So yesterday was the 25th, so I was starting in Psalms 25.

And I just I really love the notes.

I'm going to read a lot out of my notes tonight, but Selena and I, as well as James and Claire, several people in the church I know Russ is here, he's got the same Bible too, but it's a new, spirit filled life Bible.

I just really love this Bible.

This is the first version.

I have one back in my office.

I have, I think it's version three that they're up to.

But I just, like you know, my original old one and the notes are still good in it.

But it says let's just start in verse one, psalm 25, verse one, new King James, and it says to you oh Lord, I lift up my soul, oh my God, I trust in you.

Let me not be ashamed or put to shame.

And that word ashamed, one of its meanings in the Hebrew means to act shamefully.

So let me not act shamefully.

Let not my enemies triumph over me.

You know this reminds me reading this.

My first thought is that it takes me all the way back to the 90s, to the band third day and, believe it or not, my little inside story that has nothing to do with what I'm preaching, but my mom's older sister Nelda, my aunt Nelda, that third day was her favorite group, believe it or not, and I think she probably thought Mac Powell was good looking or something, I don't know.

But just in our family we've always kitted around about that and, like Thanksgiving's and stuff, I would bring my guitar and try to play third day songs and make her happy.

But anyways, but my hope is in you, that really popular song that they had way back in the late 90s, that came out of this song, let not my enemies triumph over me.

Indeed, let no one who waits on you be ashamed.

Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously or deceitfully, without cause.

And verse four show me your paths, o Lord.

You know his way.

Show me your ways, o Lord.

Teach me your paths.

So that speaks to habits, or habitual his ways in the Hebrew.

I was talking about being habitual or forming habits.

In other words, we get to know them so strongly and they're such on the inside of us that we're living every day what I like to call supernaturally natural.

You know, it becomes natural to us to live supernaturally, and that's how familiar we are with the supernatural, that the supernatural becomes and is manifested in the natural Right.

And so teach us your paths.

And that speaks to direction.

Lead me.

Verse five lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation.

On you I wait all the day.

And so lead me in your truth.

You know, god's truth is what you want to be led in, it's what you want to found your life on and what you want to be standing on the firm foundation of God's word, god's truth.

It's all contained right here and I'm telling you in a world where people think that it's it's my truth and your truth and Bob's truth over here and Justin's truth over here, no, it's God's truth.

And God's truth does become our truth because we're founded on that truth.

Right, but it always belongs to God.

And so that word truth, I'm going to read it right out of my word wealth, right here in my Bible, and that basically it breaks it out as strong as number 571 in the Hebrew, and it means certainty and stability and rightness and trustworthiness.

And so the emit derives from the verb I'm on, meaning to be firm or permanent and established, and it also conveys a sense of dependability, firmness and reliability.

In other words, we can rely on the truth of God's word.

Truth is therefore something upon which a person may confidently stake his life.

I've got that question for you tonight.

Have you really staked your life in his confidence, confidently leaning back on his truth?

It says David prayed that God's truth would continually preserve him.

In chapter 40, verse 11.

And the scripture speaks of men of truth and the law of truth, and especially the true God Curiously emit, is spelled with the first, middle and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

Thus the rabbis concluded that truth upholds the first and the last of God's creation and everything in between.

So in other words, his within, god's truth contains everything that was ever created, is created with his truth and is founded in his truth.

Amen.

And so, and it says back in verse five for you are the God of my salvation, on you I wait all the day.

But see, you know, the Old Testament version of waiting, you know, is not just sitting around.

Oh well, one day God will get to it.

One day, you know.

And waiting on God, like no God is waiting on us.

In the New Testament, god is waiting on us and I like how it's called.

The Kingdom Dynamic section breaks that out.

It says growing, and growing in knowing, cultivating the knowledge of God requires the discipline of waiting upon him.

As used here, weight means to bind together through a process of intertwining, clearly suggesting the virtual envelopment of the soul with God.

To wait upon the Lord is to foster a sensitivity both to his presence and to his promptings, which quiets our hearts, focuses our minds.

Through what?

Thanksgiving and praise, amen.

So Thanksgiving and praise is what's going to quiet your mind, is what's going to turn off that squarely thinking.

If you want to stop that squarely loop that's happening in your mind over and over and over again, just begin to lift up your voice with Thanksgiving and praise and begin to thank God for his faithfulness.

Find something Remember back on all of his faithfulness, how he's guided you, how he's led you into success, amen.

And it allows him to reveal any subtle attitudes or unforgiveness that we have in our hearts that would dull our sensitivity to his voice.

Except the New Testament call to fasten the belt of your mind 1 Peter 1.13, I put that in my notes for later on.

So we're going to read 1 Peter 1.13 later on.

Meditate on God's word and respond with focused worship, dedicate times alone with God for waiting and for interaction with Him, and so we must dedicate if we have a heart for revival.

We get into what revival means in a second, but it just means to revive and it also speaks of interrupting.

So right now, the devil's plan is being interrupted that he had over our lives and your plan is being interrupted.

Your own plan is being interrupted by God's purposes and by God's plan, and it happens through the indwelling and the flooding and the filling of His Holy Spirit.

We're to be flooded with His light.

And when we spend time in His truth, the truth of God's word, then I'm telling you there's no devil in hell that can hold you back from performing what God has called you to do.

Each individual believer has a ministry.

Like I was praying earlier, like I was saying, and I'm telling you there's no devil in hell that can stop you from performing all of the duties of your ministry and fulfilling God's plan in your life.

When you get a hold of the power of waiting on God, meaning that you've fastened your whole heart and you know he reveals to us things in our spirit.

Spirit to spirit, on the inside of us is how he leads us and guides us through the Holy Spirit to our spirit.

And so I'm telling you, when you begin to have time in your prayer closet, where you devote yourself to listening to the still small voice that's on the inside of you, I'm telling you you become unstoppable.

Amen.

And if we'll skip all the way down to verse 12, let's talk about the fear of the Lord for a little bit.

Who is the man that fears the Lord and Him shall he teach in the way he chooses.

He Himself shall dwell in prosperity and His descendants shall inherit nothing.

No, it says that they'll inherit the earth.

Amen.

What does that mean?

That means that's really speaking of souls there.

Right, and the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him and he will show them His covenant.

I'm telling you the secret of the Lord.

There are secret things that God has.

He's not kept them from you, he's held them for you.

And when you spend time with Him, those secrets, he begins to reveal all of what His word means.

And it just comes by fearing Him, not being afraid of Him, but being in awe of Him and respectful and showing honor.

And we show honor by giving Him our time and our effort and energy and putting Him first.

So if you wake up and your whole world is like one big tornado getting to work and you're running by the time you get to work 30 minutes late because you've allowed everything else in your life to have priority, I just encourage you to make a shift and wake up earlier and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide and direct your paths, and then you'll just have a supernatural calmness about you and you won't be tempted to be overcome with tardiness and worry and fear and dread and all of those things that everyone else around us is experiencing because they're not spending time with God.

And I'm telling you, all it takes is the fear of the Lord, that respect, to put Him first, to put Him above all of you know, seek first the kingdom and all these things.

Right In Matthew six it says all these things, meaning all of the you know, the desires of our heart, all of the things that we require to live this life, I mean they're gonna be supplied supernaturally, in the natural, amen.

And so, verse 15, my eyes are ever towards the Lord, for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

I'm telling you there again, the devil has a strategy, but God's plan is greater than his strategy.

And Ephesians six tells us to be strong in the Lord and the power of his might put on the whole armor of God verse 11, so that we may stand strong against the wiles of the devil, the strategies of the enemy, amen.

And so there is a plan to pluck, I mean to ensnare our feet in a net.

But I'm telling you that God's eyes are toward us and he can pull us right out of the fire.

He can pull us right out of the furnace.

Whatever you're going through tonight, there's a plan of escape for you and I'm just telling you I'm hungry for more, I'm hungry for more of his spirit and I'm hungry for revival.

I'm telling you, we look ahead to this coming Sunday.

We're gonna have pastors Mark and Trina Hankins here in the service with us, both services.

And I'm telling you, I'm in the process of preparing my heart to receive, not just not just to receive, but to also pour out and give out.

And we're preparing our offering already.

We're thinking ahead on that.

We're praying ahead on sewing and giving because that is a wonderful ministry to sew into, but also our attitude.

We're opening our hearts for change, knowing that God can use the Hankins' to give us a word that's gonna change eternity, amen.

And so that we won't remain the same.

And we're hungry for more.

We're hungry for growth.

Selina and I are that's what I'm talking about and the leadership of this church.

I'm telling you we are growing, amen.

And so we have the leader traits of the fear of the Lord.

It says in our kingdom, dynamic section of this Bible.

It says in every era, godly men and women have practiced the fear of the Lord, and the scriptures reveal several things about the fear of the Lord.

It is clean and during forever.

It can be learned.

It is the beginning of wisdom and the beginning of knowledge.

And this Psalm reveals several promises to the one who fears the Lord.

Number one guidance, which is awesome Spiritual prosperity, and he himself shall dwell in prosperity Verse 13.

So we read that.

So his descendants shall inherit the earth, and so there is a cost of not obeying God.

That doesn't just affect you, but it affects your children and your children's children.

It affects their inheritance.

When we get off in disobedience, and I'm telling you, maybe you find yourself.

Maybe you just turned on the TV and it's no accident.

Or you've turned on YouTube or Facebook, or you found us on the website and it's no accident that you're joining us tonight and you're convicted by the Holy Spirit right now.

When I said that and you know exactly the areas that you've been holding back from the Lord, and I just encourage you right now to ask for forgiveness and obedience is so easy, it's so quick to just turn around and ask for forgiveness and make a full 180 degree, turn in and start walking out of that disobedience into obedience, and I'm telling you it is better than sacrifice.

God is right there to meet you in obedience and it pays to serve God, it pays to walk in that obedience.

And then I'm telling you, you're setting your kids and your kids' kids up for an inheritance and you yourself can receive that inheritance.

But I'm telling you, they're inheriting the earth.

They're inheriting souls for the kingdom of God they're inheriting.

It also means, obviously means prosperity.

It talks of.

He says he Himself shall dwell in prosperity.

That prosperity doesn't end after you, it extends into the next generations to come, amen.

And so where was I reading spiritual prosperity, future prosperity, and then the secret of the Lord is with them.

So we have a divine confidence, right.

And then we know our covenant.

He will show them His covenant and we know exactly what it means to have all that God has for us.

So God has all that we have, and we have all that God has and that gets revealed to us stronger and stronger through the fear of the Lord, amen.

And so I'm just talking about being hungry for revival tonight.

Are you hungry for more of the glory of God?

And so God is always faithful to respond to the hungry.

His word is full of story after story after story of God responding.

Jesus, even in the gospels, responded to people's hunger to be healed, and so we're hungry for more of God.

We're hungry for more revelation, knowledge.

We're hungry for more souls to be reaped into the kingdom.

We're hungry and thirsty for more miraculous manifestations of His power and more manifestations of His presence to a higher degree, amen.

And so you have what you preach right.

So we're preaching about it and we're getting stirred up, and this Sunday we can have it.

Amen.

And he's trustworthy to answer the cries of His people, amen.

And so I just want to encourage you that revival is not an activity that man musters up, but it's an operation that God releases down and rains down, amen.

And so we must stay hungry, and so I just have a few points on staying hungry, and number one is to never stop stirring.

So if you'll turn with me to 2 Timothy, chapter 1, and starting in verse, let's see I'm in 1 Timothy.

2 Timothy 1 · chapter mention

That's why that's not quite working.

Let's start in verse 3.

2 Timothy 1, verse 3.

2 Timothy 1:3

In the New King James it says I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing.

I remember you in my prayers night and day.

And so this is Paul talking to his son in the faith Timothy right.

And so he's remembering Timothy in his prayers night and day, greatly desiring to see him being mindful of his tears, that Paul might be filled with joy.

And then he begins to encourage him, and I call to remembrance.

So Paul's remembering Timothy's genuine faith that is in him, which dwelt first in his grandmother, lois, and his mother, eunice.

And then Paul is fully persuaded, fully convinced that it that that genuine faith is in Timothy as well.

And so maybe, you know here, timothy had a natural spiritual heritage.

He had a natural mother and grandmother that was full of faith.

You know, maybe, maybe you don't have a mother or a grandmother that's full of faith.

You have a spiritual dad in this church, our pastor, pastor John Griner, my dad, he is our pastor and he is a man full of faith.

And so we have a spiritual heritage in him and we can lean on and rely on the anointing, that's on his life, that he's going to be able to feed us out of the abundance of what's being poured in to his spirit.

He preaches out of that abundance and it's a supply just for us to grow.

It's green, it's luscious, it tastes great.

When you feed in the pasture that God has provided, I'm telling you, you grow up in the right way, but I'm telling you, it breeds flakiness.

All the people that go around that don't really have a church, they don't really have a pastor and they go from place to place and community to community, all over YouTube, in fact, and listen to every YouTube preacher that there is.

I'm telling you there is safety and there is maturity when you submit yourself to a pastor and begin to feed on the revelation that's coming out of your pastor.

Amen, and so I just that's from the Holy Spirit, because it's right here, but it's anyways verse six, and therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of hands.

How did that gift get there?

It got there through the laying on of hands.

That's why we believe in the laying on of hands.

And so, several times a year, our pastor will lay his hands on us and there'll be an impartation of giftings, right, there'll be an impartation of honestly, whatever he's praying over at that moment, and that really is a reflection on what he's preaching on.

And so, again, this is totally coming out differently than I prepared.

So I know that that's the Holy Ghost and I'm telling you, we submit ourselves when we have guest ministers, like we're having this Sunday in the Hankins's, and we're preparing our hearts to receive from them as well.

And so there's a gift on the inside of you that's right there, that's waiting for you to stir it up.

And so, you know, in the middle of summertime, so obviously it is not a good time to make a fire outside unless you really want to sweat right.

Especially recently, like the last month or so, it's been really hot.

Almost every day has been over 100 degrees.

I don't complain about it, because all over the South that's what we go through, and so if we live in the South, that's what we have.

We have hot summers.

But you know, back in January and February, selene and I made quite a few fires in the backyard, in the fire pit, and I just call it like playing with the fire, because you know you think it's about to die and all you have to do is poke it just a little bit.

Maybe, you know, maybe we go inside for a little while and come back and the fire had died down.

You don't even need to necessarily add more wood.

You just need to stir the fire, poke the fire and it's going to get more oxygen and burst back into flames.

So maybe you're just a smoldering ember, but I'm telling you, there's a gift on the inside of you and all you need to do is stir it up, and so we never stop stirring.

Every spiritual thing in your life requires stirring, and so we're to stir continuously.

So I encourage you to stir up the gift of God.

All of us have the gift of God on the inside, and so it's important to be around people that are encouraging, people that see, that recognize the gift of God on the inside of you and encourage you in the Lord to stir it up, amen.

And so get around people that are encouragers, get around people that recognize that gifting.

So Selina and I Selina is the youth pastor here so we get to work with lots of young people, and that's one of my favorite things to do is to identify, just hang out with young people, and the Lord will show us giftings, maybe sometimes even ahead of the parents, and sometimes we're able to get to know the kids differently than their parents, just because they say more things maybe when they're not in front of mommy and daddy, right, and so maybe they're a little bit more bold, but we're able to recognize some of the gifts and the callings on them.

Recently we went to youth camp in Florida and we had a testimony Sunday the Sunday before last that was the Sunday.

We got back and all the kids that went had a testimony and I'm telling you our mouths were open just in awe of what God did and how open the kids were to sharing their stories and going back and listening.

We were shooting interviews with them on camera on Sunday night during youth and it took two youth services to get that done, no-transcript.

I think it's over half of them that had visions.

So that just stirred me up right there.

I was just talking about Brother Wiseman being here back in June and preaching a little bit about visions and talking about some of the dreams and the visions that he's had over this church and about our pastor and about our family and connecting some of the dots on that.

And here we were I thought it was significant that that happened in the youth room him preaching about dreams and visions, and then we go to youth camp and half the kids that went had visions, and so we're just getting those.

We're gonna put that into a video format and we're gonna rejoice in the Lord of what he did through those visions, amen.

But they received comfort and revelation.

And so, real quick, I'll just quote at Psalm 85.6.

It says will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

Show us your mercy and your loving kindness, o Lord, and grant us your salvation.

So won't he revive us again?

I'm telling you he will.

He's he's reviving us again and all we have to do is stir it up.

And when we're faithful to stir up the gift of God on the inside, there the wind of the Holy Spirit blows in and ignites that fire and burns it.

Hotter and hotter and brighter and brighter, brighter than the noon day sun, amen, and hotter than the noon day sun.

I'm telling you, you have a fire on the inside of you that's burning.

That, this that your generation needs to experience.

They need the fire that you have on the inside.

And so I'm telling you, it is our jobs to never stop stirring, amen.

And so step number two of staying hungry is to guard our minds.

It says right here, in verse seven, if we keep reading in 1 Timothy one, I'm sorry, 2 Timothy 1,7, for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

I'm telling you, we need to guard our minds, and that word sound mind is in the Greek, is Strong's number 49.95.

And it means to have good judgment, disciplined through patterns, and the ability to understand and make right decisions.

It includes the qualities of self-control and self-discipline, right, and so, really, self-control and self-discipline, that's a fruit of the spirit, isn't it?

And so we know the fruit of the spirit.

It requires growth, it needs to be grown, and it's grown by walking in the spirit.

But I'm telling you, god has not given us a spirit of fear.

There's no reason to be intimidated by that, there's no reason to pull back from what he's called us to do, but he's given us the spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind, those three things.

And so we have the power of the Holy Spirit, we have resurrection power living on the inside of us, we have power to accomplish all that God has for us, right here, already, on the inside of us, living and breathing on the inside.

And so then, when we apply God's love man.

I'm telling you, it affects everyone that's around us.

And then when we go ahead and we guard our thoughts and we have a sound mind, we have the ability to make right decisions, then we're not gonna miss it right, we're gonna be able to with our brains, with our minds.

We have the mind of Christ, we have a renewed mind through the word of God and we can accomplish great things, amen.

And so we're to guard our minds.

Let's see.

That leads us in our notes.

It talks about leading us back to Mark 1230.

I'm just gonna flip over there real quick, because it's a word wealth.

I'll read the scripture as well, the verse Mark 1230.

And you shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

This is the first commandment.

But that word mind means, it means thinking through.

So you can think through with your mind, amen.

And so you can love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, but with all your mind, with all your thoughts.

It's a thinking through that love and that gives you the ability to have a sound mind.

Again, god has not given us the spirit of fear, but the spirit of a sound mind, and so it's so important we can think through the word, through, it suggests understanding, insight, meditation, reflection, perception.

Man, have you realized how everyone's perception is completely off and completely different from a renewed mind of the word of God?

I mean, you don't even really have to watch the six o'clock news to know, or look it up on Instagram and Facebook through everybody's posts, how whacked their perception is of the world around them and their inability to reflect.

They have no reflection on or of the faithfulness of God, and so there's no heart of gratitude, there's no heart of thanksgiving.

I'm telling you, a sound mind.

We're grateful and thankful that we get to think the thoughts of God.

First of all, that he would reveal those secrets like we were talking about earlier.

He would reveal those secrets to us, but then also that we can think his thoughts, that there's nothing withheld from us.

All we have to do is spend time with him on a daily basis and he'll reveal everything that we need to know to accomplish wonderful things in him, right?

And so I think about People.

They keep fainting in their minds.

You know, I'm going to turn on my phone real quick.

Two, it'll be Hebrews 12 in the amplified classic.

I'm going to start with verse three, hebrews 12, three in the amplified, and it's talking about Jesus.

Just think of Him who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself.

Reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials, with what you're going through, in other words, so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.

I'm telling you that's an epidemic really.

What's going on in most churches in America right now?

We're seeing the effects of pastors and leaders fainting in their minds.

They're getting distracted, they're getting their minds, they're getting their eyes off of Jesus and what Jesus did for us.

Looking unto Jesus verse two if we just go back one verse, looking away from all that will distract to Jesus that's what you're doing.

When you turn to Jesus and you get your mind on Jesus, you're automatically getting your eyes off of everything else that will distract you, that will take you away from your calling, that will take you away from revival, that will take you away from the end filling of the Holy Spirit.

It's very important what we look at.

We're looking at Jesus.

He's the source, the author and the finisher of our faith.

It's giving the first incentive for our belief and he for the joy.

What was the joy we were?

The joy that he had of the joy of obtaining us the prize you and me, right, or his prize that was set before him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

And so anytime that we feel overwhelmed by the circumstances that are going around us, down around, and that we're going through, think of Jesus.

It says to reckon up and consider it all.

The amplified Bible says which takes your brain right, allow your mind to consider what it was like for Jesus to go through all of that rejection, all of the humility, all of the shame.

He took, all of our shame on the cross.

He took all.

He endured such hardness on the cross and yet he did it with joy.

And I'm telling you, you can endure things.

Whatever you're going through, you can endure and overcome and have the victory by getting your eyes off of how big your problem is and focusing on Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith, who started it all.

And I'm telling you, eternity is a long time and we have eternity to be grateful and thankful for all that God's done and as soon as you get your eyes off of all that distracts and you get them on Jesus and his faithfulness, and his faithfulness to endure, just so we could have a relationship with God, just to be our mediator, that we don't have to have any shame, we don't have to hold on to oppression, we don't have to hold on to depression, we don't have to be depressed, we don't have to be sad.

There's no sad Holy Ghost.

Right, we're filled with the joy of the Lord and it's not an emotion.

It's not happiness and sadness.

Happy and sadness is an emotion, but the joy of the Lord supersedes any emotion that you could have.

I saw that for like five seconds, a little debate on that on Facebook today.

I almost got sucked in, but I, I, I withheld that and now I'm responding to that post by just preaching it.

Right, brother Pete's laughing at me over here.

He can relate and I'm telling you, the joy of the Holy Ghost is not an emotion.

It supersedes all of our emotion and it's something that happens on the inside of our spirit and it and it does manifest into all kinds of craziness in churches.

Right, you have a holy laughter.

Quote unquote you have, you know, you're, you're, you have, you lose the ability to, to not stop laughing and you just continually laugh and laugh and laugh.

That can happen, and has happened in our church and will happen, and it might happen this Sunday.

You never know.

But we're ready.

The pastor opened and and we're, we're ready for that to happen.

Wow, I have really gone long here.

Number three to never to to to staying hungry is to position get in the position, position your mind, position your thought, life and position yourself for the future.

You know some people, certain people Pastor just preached this on Sunday, so I won't take very long but Mark 1125.

Some people get so caught up in their past and in unforgiveness and and and what they've gone through, maybe in their childhood, maybe in their teen years, maybe disappointments in their family, maybe it was a certain kind of abuse, but they've allowed that to hold them back and they've allowed that unforgiveness to, to be a stumbling block for, for what they have, what God has for their future.

And I'm telling you it says in Mark 1125, in case you weren't here on Sunday, it says and whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, that covers it all right.

If you have against anyone, forgive them, that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

But if you do not forgive verse 26, neither will your father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

And so I'm telling you we need to let go of yesterday's failure, yesterday's hurt, yesterday's mistakes.

You need to forgive yourself and and and forgive the people that have hurt you and release that hurt, release that pain, and I'm telling you the blood of Jesus can mend that broken heart.

That you don't have to go through life broken.

You know, broken people, or miserable people, they become desperate and all they.

I was talking about that with Russ earlier.

He was here to help us, he is here tonight to help us out, and we just we were talking about another couple in the church that just they came in off the street desperate and they were so consumed with their desperation that they couldn't see that, that they couldn't even feel the love of God.

And so, after hours and hours of ministering, you know, these people's heart were, hearts were hardened and they didn't receive the ministry that they needed.

And it's just, it's so hard.

You cannot make people receive the gospel, you can't force people, you can't force feed anyone, and so that's really what this whole message has been about is staying hungry.

We're hungry and thirsty for more.

We don't harden our hearts towards what God has for us in any way, shape or form, but we allow Jesus to be Lord of all, amen.

And so we are staying hungry for a revival.

We're staying hungry for more Holy Ghosts.

We're staying hungry for more of the glory of God, amen.
