El Shaddai 3

Let's lift our Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

Let's say this together say Heavenly Father, I'm glad to be in church on Sunday morning.

I've come with an open heart.

I wanna receive revelation from the Word of God that will build my faith, that will grow my spirit, that will propel me into the place you prepared for me in Jesus' name, amen.

Let's look at two places Galatians, chapter three, and also Genesis 17.

And I'm gonna bring a third message on the subject El Shaddai.

And if you were not here, be sure, and obtain the media.

So you know, if you, it's just so easy If you've never done podcasts, you can go through Apple, you can go through Spotify, you can go through Amazon, you can go.

I don't know, I don't have all my heart ready to go.

And so if you don't, you know CDs are gone out and they're pretty much, you know, just going down the tubes.

People's.

You know you buy a car, there's no CD player in it anymore.

It's kind of reminds you of what happened to the cassette ready.

It reminds me of eight track.

Right, you know, eight track went away, cassettes went away and now CDs are going away, DVDs are going away.

We got to move on with the times.

It's the 21st century folks.

So I want to make sure that you keep up with these messages, even when you're not here.

All right.

Galatians, chapter three, verse 26, and Paul.

You know the Galatian church had gotten out of, started listening more to Judaism.

They had some false teachers and all of that.

We have a lot of false teachers today, false apostles, false prophets.

There's a lot of falsehood out there.

Galatians, chapter three, verse 26,.

For you were all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, not by keeping the law.

No faith in Christ Jesus, for as many as you have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.

There's neither Jew nor Greek, there's neither bond or free, there's neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if you be Christ, then are you Abraham, seed and heirs according to the promise.

And so in Genesis 17,.

We'll read that Genesis 17, verse one.

And when Abram was 90 years old and nine that's kind of old 90 years old and it's not as old as I used to think it was, but anyway it's pretty old the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him I am the Almighty God and, as we've discovered, the Almighty God is El Shaddai, which means the God who is more than enough, the all sufficient one.

I've got all you can comprehend and more.

I am Almighty God.

Now he appeared to him and he revealed himself in this way for the first time.

He'd revealed himself in different ways.

He'd cut the covenant in Genesis 15.

He'd already cut the covenant, but nothing happened.

On Abraham's side, abram was still seeing himself as weak and seeing his wife as barren, and they just didn't make any progress on the promise that God promised him.

But he hadn't acted, he hadn't done his part.

You know, a covenant is two ways.

Covenant, you know, god cuts the covenant.

He'd guarantees that he's going to do something, but on the other hand, we've got to what Receive it and act like it's so and speak like it.

So they hadn't done that.

So one more time, it was so important for him to receive.

It's so important for you to receive what God has for you.

That's why I'm here.

That's the only reason I'm a pastor is to make sure that you receive everything that belongs to you.

If I fail in that, I'll answer for it.

Ooh Well, if I fail on my side.

That's why I'm real zealous about teaching the Word and doing whatever I can to prepare these messages and make sure that it's brought to you with a way that you can understand it.

But then, once it's once it's got, you've got it.

That's up to you.

Amen, all right.

So he said I am Almighty God.

Walk before me, continue before me.

Walk means continue and be with me.

Walk before me.

Walk means continue and be thou perfect.

Be thou blameless in the covenant.

That's what it's talking about there Be blameless in the covenant.

He hadn't been really blameless.

He's been.

He's had some shortcomings, but it doesn't say that way.

You've got to read your Bible with New Testament eyes.

You got to get.

You got to realize that a covenant is two ways.

A covenant the word covenant means to cut.

It applies the shedding of blood.

Now, you mean God shed his blood.

Well, no, on his behalf.

You know, in Genesis 15, you know he's been making this promise for a long time Genesis 12, he made the promise.

Genesis 13, genesis 14, 15.

I mean, he's been making this promise that he's going to be the father of many nations.

He's going to have his seed.

It's going to be like the stars of the heaven.

It's going to be like the sand at the sea shore.

It's going to be like the dust of the earth.

Are you kidding?

I mean, that's huge, that's bigger than you can comprehend, isn't it?

Yeah, but he hadn't acted on it.

He hadn't, he hadn't moved forward on it.

Why?

Well, he had some circumstances.

His wife is barren Now.

They're too old, he's too old to father a child and she's double dead.

She's barren woman already, as a young woman, and now she's past childbearing age.

So you know, it looks like impossible.

God said oh, it's not impossible.

I've gotten more than I've ever gotten.

I've gotten more than I've ever gotten.

I've gotten more than enough power.

Get on with it, boy.

Walk before me blameless, and I will make verse two.

I will make my covenant, or I will perform my covenant between me, and then We'll multiply thee a little bit.

No, god is El Shaddai.

He's the God of too much and too nice.

He's the God of excessive.

Amen.

We've got to aim higher To get everything God has for us.

You know why?

Because we live in the last days in a midst harvest that has yet to be reaped, and guess who's gonna do the reaping?

We are that's gonna take everything that we can receive from God to do the job, amen.

So last week, you know, we talked about these things.

He waited until they were past their own abilities, past their own strength, and he had to rename them Abraham, which means father of many nations, and Sarah, which means mother of all living or princes.

And within 90 days of being renamed, they began to speak to each other correctly and others, and they conceived Isaac.

I mean, something happened.

We talked about how she would look.

She was so beautiful before she conceived Isaac.

She was so beautiful, a bimilek wanted to take her into his harem.

So something happened when that power was released.

I mean, el Shaddai turned the clock back.

Praise God, he's turning my clock.

He reset my clock.

Praise God.

I can relate to these verses man, all right.

So, and then we talked about David and Jonathan, jonathan, david.

Jonathan loved David as his own soul and he cut the covenant with David.

We talked all about that.

At that point in time, david couldn't help Jonathan at all.

He just, jonathan, was helping David.

Jonathan was running interference for his father and put his life at risk.

I mean, saul was so out of his mind and demonized he could have killed his own son.

He could have killed Jonathan and he knew he was helping David.

He was mad about it, but Jonathan loved him as his own soul and he ran interference for him.

He helped him escape, he helped him get out of town.

And he said now you know I'm doing this, but you're not ever gonna stop.

You will show kindness to my seed, forever and even required of your enemies, because I know God's gonna perform His word for you.

You're gonna be the king and what you say is gonna go, and I'm holding you accountable for this covenant I want you to perform.

He said and we're talking more about that word, but it's translated kindness, it's not being kind, it's a covenant term, it's tied to the blood.

And he put David in a place where he could not not bless his seed, because Jonathan could not not protect David, even if it cost him his own life, or y'all with us.

That's what the that's what covenant's all about.

It's backed by what?

Blood?

All right.

So and so then, after David was, after a long time, you know, seven and a half year, where he was crowned king of Judah and Benjamin, but then, after seven years of war between the house of Saul and the house of David, he was.

You know, the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker in the house of David, stronger and stronger, and eventually he prevailed.

He became a king of all of Israel.

And as soon as he was king, he said is there anyone left of the house of Saul that I can show kindness to?

He said, and I said well, yeah, as a matter of fact, we've heard about Mephibosheth.

He's over in Lodobar, which means no pasture, which means he's broke Cause.

It's an agricultural society.

If there's no pasture, there's no animals, there's no crops, there's no money, and he's living in somebody else's house and he's lame on his feet.

Can David gain anything by cutting the covenant and showing kindness to Mephibosheth?

It?

Can Mephibosheth return anything?

Can he do anything?

No, he did it simply because he stood in the blood and swore to Jonathan I'm going to take care of your family line.

They loved each other.

Love was really the motive behind all of it.

Are y'all with me now?

And so we see that.

He brought him in from Lodobar.

He brought him into his house.

He said he's going to sit at the king's table and eat as one of the king's son.

He became the son of the victor and was taken out of becoming the son of the vanquished and all of Saul's riches and lands and servants were restored to Mephibosheth.

And really in the natural he didn't even need that, cause he's the son of the king anyway.

See, it blows your mind.

He said blows your mind.

Are y'all ready for your mind to get blown?

All right, so today we're going to get over into the New Testament, he said, because, as you know, the New Testament is written in Greek.

He said it's not in the New Testament.

He said the word there is not, but it means the same thing and I want you to make the connection because and so that's the whole premise of this message is that we have a better covenant.

Let's look at Hebrews first, chapter eight.

I want you to get this, I want you to get inside of you, because we're coming into a place where we've got to become more skillful and how we handle the covenant.

You know, we heard that song this morning about plead the blood.

I plead the blood.

A lot of you don't even know what that means.

Plead the blood?

It sounds like pleading means get begging.

No, plead is a legal term.

I entered a pleading with the judge.

It's a legal tactic, and so it's all about knowledge of what belongs to you.

It's knowledge of the law.

More about that word law here in a minute.

Hebrews eight, six did you find it All right?

It says.

But now have he.

That's Jesus, our high priest.

He obtained a more excellent ministry.

By how much?

Also, he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

The word established means legislated.

It's legal.

God's all about legal.

When you get out of this habit of begging God for things that already belong to you, you're gonna gain a lot.

I mean, god has mercy on baby Christians until you know what your rights and privileges are.

He loves you and if you've got this little baby cry oh God, I need my healing.

Please give it to me, I need my healing.

Okay, he's gonna love you, he's gonna try to get healing to you, but really you don't even have to ask him for that.

You enter in a plea as I plead the blood of Jesus against this infirmity.

It has no right to occupy my body.

I demand it to go.

And Jesus, is that sound like prayer?

No, you're using your authority and you're using your knowledge of your covenant that what's already happened, what's already done, you've claimed.

Your head said Amen.

So it's a law.

It's a law, god cannot not perform his part of it.

And so when you finally mature enough to know that the problem, if there is one, is never on God's side, it's always on our side, on the receiving end.

That's where the problem is, on the receiving end.

So the only way that we can overcome that is to get knowledge of the Word, the faith, coming by hearing, hearing by the Word of God Revelation.

He revealed himself in this preaching.

This preaching, god is revealing himself in a fresh way.

To some of you, maybe you hadn't really thought about it this way before.

All right, so let's look.

Keep that in mind.

He's obtained a more excellent ministry because he's a mediator.

What's a mediator?

Well, it's a go between.

It's an agent, a middle man, a negotiator.

We need somebody between us and God, and that man is the man Christ Jesus.

He's a man and he's God.

He's both.

He's our representative, he's our attorney.

That's why I plead.

Say plead is not beg, plead is a legal term.

Say get that in your head, all right.

So let's look at Ephesians chapter two.

This is so powerful.

Right here, get ready, buckle your seat belts.

Ephesians chapter two, verse four.

I pray this almost every day about myself.

It's part of the Ephesian prayer starts in Ephesians one.

Verse 15 goes all the way through Ephesians chapter two and that's one long prayer that David prayed for the Ephesian church, and we can pray for ourselves and we can pray for others.

I pray the Ephesian prayers almost every single day for myself.

And then it says here in verse four but God, who is rich in mercy.

Now that word mercy, when you look it up it doesn't say it's.

He said, because this is Greek, but you've got to know that it comes from covenant and God is El.

Shout out at Abraham and we are the seed of Abraham.

So everything Abraham had, we have, and more, because we have a better covenant than Abraham had.

So he said if he had, he said we got this it.

So, if you'll bear with me, I can just say he said.

Can I say he said instead of mercy.

See, we think of mercy, like you know the guy that's headed to the gas chamber.

May God have mercy on your soul.

That's what we think about mercy, but that's not what really.

I mean it's got an element of God wanting to help someone who's helpless.

There's an element of that, but really mercy is bigger than that.

We're gonna get into it in just a moment.

God, who's rich in, he said for His what Great Agape we're with.

He loved us, notice.

He said in love or together.

So the New Testament I just make the statement, the New Testament.

Every time you see the word agape it's not a sentiment, it's not like a feeling and emotion, like we have human love, we're in love with someone.

You love your wife, you love your children.

It's an emotion.

But no, it's not really an emotion.

It's really hesed.

It's who God is.

The Bible says in 1 John 4 that God is agape.

So hesed is an outgrowth of agape.

I said hesed is an outgrowth of agape.

You couldn't call God agape if he didn't have hesed to go with it, because then it would be like human love, and human love is conditional.

Human love is I love you as honey.

I tell the people when I'm doing a marriage ceremony.

Human love says you know, honey, I'll love you as long as you're as beautiful as you are this day on wedding day.

Honey, I'll love you as long as you bring home the bacon.

When you quit bringing home the bacon, I'm gonna find somebody.

I'm gonna trade you in on a different model, amen.

No, that's not love.

The agape love is unconditional and the agape love God.

So agape the world that he gave.

See, agape has in it the compulsion or the fervency to give and to bless.

Oh, you're getting this?

I think I believe you're getting it.

All right.

Let's keep reading God, who's rich, in mercy for His great love, wherewith he loved us even when we were dead in sin, quickened us together with Christ by grace, or you say that word grace?

You know, paul used the word grace a whole lot and really it's just a disguise for Hesed.

It's a disguise for what the blood has already purchased for us.

Yeah, we didn't earn it, we couldn't.

It's unmerited.

Yeah, grace is unmerited favor, that's true, it's unmerited favor, but it's so much more than that.

It is the nature of God to give you something that blows your mind.

Woo and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Listen to this one.

This is the one that you're gonna have to maybe no, just unbuckle you seatbelts, because if y'all wanna fly around a while, you can fly around that in the ages to come he might show or display or manifest the exceeding riches of His Hesed and His Hesed toward us through Christ Jesus.

I mean, this is not just gonna happen this week or next week, it's gonna happen for all the ages to come.

He is gonna put us on display.

This is my church, these are my sons and daughters, and I bless them.

Y'all beginning to get the connections between love and Hesed.

All right, let's look at Titus.

Right after 2 Timothy is Titus, chapter three, verse four.

But after the kindness, what is that?

Hesed?

See?

I mean, you know the King James, that's kind.

You know we'll get more into all the ways it's translated, but let's train ourselves to realize you know what the Word is really saying.

After the Hesed and the love of God.

See, they're tied together, hesed and love tied together.

After the Hesed and love of God, our Savior, toward man, see, toward man, toward man.

He did it toward man.

He even did it toward man that was lost.

He did it toward Hitler.

He did it toward Stalin.

He did it, you know.

He did it to everybody.

He paid the same price for every person, knowing that not everybody would receive it.

He paid the same price for everybody, knowing that not everybody would receive it.

But if we don't receive it, see what a waste, what a waste he paid and we didn't receive.

I'm receiving, I'm gonna receive everything that he bought and paid for and I haven't decided, I haven't quite yet discovered all the depth and length and depth and breadth and height of it, but I'm working on that.

I'm not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his Hesed.

He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Those are two words I like Regeneration and renewing.

Praise God.

He turned back my clock.

Lord satisfies my mouth with good things.

So my youth is renewed, like the Eagles.

Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Who he shed, which he shed on us abundantly.

What did he shed on us?

Love and Hesed, another word.

That word shed means to gush forth.

It's the same word.

The blood of Jesus was shed for us, and so the love of God in Romans 5.5 has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

The God pay has been shed, it gushes forth, see.

That's why we call the blood the liquid love.

It's liquid love.

The blood and love are one in the same.

Are y'all catching this now?

When we sing about the blood, we're singing about God, we're singing about his nature.

We're singing about his willingness not just to love us in abstract but to do something about it and release blessing.

We don't love him back because of the blessing.

We love him because we've been given the ability to love him, because the love of God is down now, shed and brought in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

Are y'all with me now?

Woo, hallelujah.

So his nature, john 3.16, god, so agape the world that he gave.

He gave, see.

He started like how can I bless the earth?

I'm gonna give him my son.

The Bible says that, jesus.

He said in John 15, greater love hath no man that he laid down his life for his friends.

The word friends, as we've learned, is not buddy or pal, it's covenant partner.

Jesus loved us so much.

Even Hitler, even Stalin, even all the worst mass murderers in history, he loved them.

He loved us so much.

He laid down his life knowing that not everybody was gonna receive that blessing.

Are y'all getting it now.

So you see the hess said in the love, see, so great the love in corresponding.

So I wrote some things down here I wanna read them to you about.

Hess said it's mentioned 242 times in the old covenant.

So it's pretty important and that's the old covenant.

We ought to read the old covenant.

But when you read it, read it with New Testament eyes and realize we've got a better covenant.

I didn't say it, the Bible says it.

We just read it Hebrews 8, 6.

And that better covenant is established or legislated on better promises.

So this the further we get away from the more civilized quote unquote, we've made this point last week the more civilized society, the less importance is attached to the blood.

That's why you can go to some churches and never hear about the blood.

It's bloodless religion.

But if you take the blood out of Christianity, all you've got is a religion.

You don't have any power.

You may, you've got, you have no power.

We'll never quit talking about the blood just because somebody gets offended and doesn't wanna dig into their Bible and find out what the significance is.

So so this this 242 times.

It's translated loving, kindness, grace, steadfast love, mercy, goodness, faithfulness, devotion, favor, strength.

It.

It means to be full of eager yearning, the nature of God.

It's almost like it's not a compulsion, because a compulsion would be like mental illness, but it's similar in the fact that God is so intent.

He has eager yearning to bless you.

Oh, glory to God.

He it's a promise to give, to help to heal, to restore, to provide until it's too good to be true, until it's too good to be true.

And we got a ways to go yet, don't we?

That's why I'm teaching this.

I want you to lift your sights.

I want you to realize not gonna bankrupt heaven for us to see that God has paid for something a whole lot more than what we've received.

Too good to be true.

This is too good to be true.

My glory to God, thank you.

Thank you exceeding abundantly above.

Oh, we dare ask or think Too much?

God is too much.

It's too nice God.

It's excessive, it's as excessive.

Y'all are getting it.

I think you're getting it Alright.

It's a promise to give, to help to restore, to heal, to provide until it's too good to be true, and then swear in your own blood to prove you're not lying, to ensure that it's received, studying his own blood there in Genesis 15, and swore I couldn't swear by any hyres, or I swear by myself.

Surely, blessing, I will bless thee.

In multiplying, I will multiply thee.

Who's that given to the seed of Abraham and his seed?

And guess what?

We're the seed of Abraham.

Through faith in Christ, he stood in his own blood.

Well, it wasn't his own blood, it was the blood of a bull.

Well, that's what they had, the old covenant.

But he did the same thing when Jesus' blood was shed at the cross, he did the same.

He stood in his own blood and swore so that we would be able to receive it.

You know Abraham?

Abraham asked him how do I know?

How do I know you're gonna do this?

You're just.

This is a mind-blowing promise.

I, I don't know.

I mean, the doctors say I can't live more than a couple more weeks.

I, what in the world?

How do you?

How am I gonna know?

The blood has been shed.

I'm standing in the middle of it, swearing by myself.

Oh, come on, lift your hands right now.

Glory to God, yes, said.

Getting more, say.

And really, it's agape.

That's the nature of God.

And guess what?

We have his nature.

He, agape, has been shed abroad.

Just like the blood was shed, agape, liquid love is in our hearts Now that agape comes as a seed.

You know, if you read Galatians 522, the fruit of the Spirit is what Love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness.

You know, self-control, so forth.

So that's, those are all fruits of the Spirit.

Fruit is grown.

You have the seed when you get saved.

Some people never did develop in love.

That's why they can't really receive from God, because that part of God they can't relate to.

They're too locked into the human love.

They're too locked into conditional love.

They're too they notice too much of people not treating them like they think they should be treated and they just walk around.

They walk around in a low place when really the love of God wouldn't ever even pay any attention.

You wouldn't even need to forgive anybody because you'd never pay any attention when you were wronged.

Uh-oh, that's gonna, that's hitting the fan now.

Wow, I mean, if we were walking where God wanted us to, we wouldn't even need to forgive anybody.

We'd never.

We wouldn't take any account of it.

Just keep on going.

Oh hell, I'm just gonna love them, praise God.

You might not get along that well with them, but you can love them.

You don't have to be their best friend in this life you could still love them To enter a covenant of blood forever, totally for someone else's benefit and blessing.

That's what God did, that he need us.

Well, I want to say it this way.

Why will we recreate it in the first place, see, because God, his nature is agape, he is a gape and he is a father, and fathers want sons, they want children to be able to bless.

See, his nature is to bless.

Why would he be an eternity, forever and not have any creature that he could bless, that is on his, in his class of being?

We're not God, but we're in the God class.

We're alone.

There are no animals.

Forget about whales and dolphins and all that garbage.

They're not in the class of human beings.

God created us in his class.

He created us so that we could have fellowship together and that he could lavish upon us this mind blowing blessing forever and ever and ever.

Put us up on a pedestal, say this is, this is my son right here.

These are my sons and daughters right here.

They trusted me and they couldn't see me, they couldn't smell me, they just knew I was.

I'm going to bless them forever.

Oh, come on, praise God and finally to give yourself totally and all you have to someone who has nothing.

No, we had nothing, didn't we?

Let's look at Ephesians two again and look at verse 12.

You getting anything out of this today?

We'll back up to verse 11.

Wherefore, remember Now the word remember and when you see, remember it.

It means remember, but it also is a covenant term.

You're always think in line with the covenant.

I always think in line with what the blood purchased.

God remembered Abraham when the children of Israel were crying under the whip of Pharaoh in Egypt, 400, and some odd years later, after he had cut the covenant with Abraham, 400 years later, and God remembered Abraham.

What does that mean?

Did he forget him?

No, remember means you go back and you take the covenant seriously.

You begin to find out is there a?

Is there anybody that I need to bless with Hesed?

And sure enough there's.

All those slaves in Egypt, and God had to.

God could not not deliver them.

God could not not deliver them.

So wherefore?

Remember that you, being time past Gentiles in the flesh, who were called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision, the flesh made by hands, you know Jews and Gentiles.

Jews have a covenant with God.

Gentiles have no covenant.

Because of that that you were at that time.

You were without Christ.

You were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel.

So that means you didn't have, you didn't have a covenant, you didn't have that covenant, and strangers from the covenants of promise, the new covenant.

We have billions of people on the earth today that are fit this category.

They're aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and be and without God in the world.

That's where they are.

What's our job is to go tell them about Jesus, go preach the gospel, get them saved, get them discipled, get them ready to go up in the rapture.

We got about that long.

It's gonna all happen real fast.

Are y'all with me now?

You know I would have to say that a lot of Christians are in this same category.

They're, they're.

They have God, all right, but they don't really know God the way they should and they're really strangers from the covenants of promise.

They don't know the covenant.

They're walking in all kinds of mess, their lives are disjointed.

They're not anywhere close to being a witness for the Lord.

Technically, maybe they're saved, I don't know.

It's kind of hard to tell People that live a life like that.

You can hardly tell them apart from the world.

So I'm not their judge, god.

God's the one that knows.

I don't know, but I tell you I have a heart to see those people lifted up.

They're living way below what Jesus bought and paid for.

Amen, all right.

And so we'll finally begin to wrap this up here.

Why and I think I pretty well made the case why is this a better covenant?

Why are these better promises?

That's what the Bible says, and I think I've made the case.

Number one we've got three things I want you to think about.

Number one we're born again.

See, they weren't born again.

They weren't new creatures in the old covenant.

They had a covenant with God, all right, they weren't adopted as sons.

We've been adopted as sons and daughters.

We've been named with a new name and, as I said, romans 5, 5 says the agape of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

They're spiritually dead.

They don't have a gapay to love God with.

They're told to love God with all their might and all their strength and all their.

You know all their mind and so forth.

That's all they could do was love God with human love.

And you know what it's human love, it's conditional.

So when God didn't just deliver right on the spot, they start murmuring and complaining and and why did you bring us out here to die?

We can't, we be not able to go into the land.

See, they couldn't receive.

They couldn't believe the mind blowing ability to go and capture, first of all to get delivered out of Egypt.

They didn't believe that really.

And then, when they got delivered out of Egypt, they quickly forgot about it and they weren't persuaded to go into the promised land, even though it was given to them.

Are you with me now?

Oh, we have got a major difference.

It's a better covenant, legislated upon better promises.

Because we have the love of God, we can understand how fellowshiping with God it's what we did this morning when we worshiped we fellowshiped with God Almighty.

When they sung, they sang their songs and they had all in a minor key.

I was watching the movie Exodus the other night and the movie Exodus, the story of Israel, and they were out there dancing.

I said, why don't you play something?

And besides, a minor key, I get tired of it.

Man, I wouldn't.

It's such a dirge.

I mean, their music is minor key.

See, thank God, we have the glory.

Yeah, they're praising God as best they can with that old covenant attitude.

And you know the hang dog.

We're Holocaust survivors, we're this sounds like I'm being ugly, no, I'm just.

One of these days God's gonna pay attention to Israel.

That's when we're gonna be gone.

He's gonna turn his attention to Israel.

They're gonna look on him, whom they pierced, and you read the story of Joseph and his brothers.

That's the story of Jesus and his brothers being reunited.

All Israel shall be saved.

I wanna go on record all Israel shall be saved.

But they won't be saved like we are.

They'll never be new creatures.

Amen, we're new creatures, we're a new species of being never before existed.

Amen, all right.

So they couldn't receive the hesset to the degree that they needed to.

And in spite of that, you see some amazing miracles in the Old Testament.

I mean, you see Joshua stopping the clock, just held up time for a whole day while they were able to kill the Amalekites in battle.

You see, the prophet turned the time back.

You know five degrees.

I mean, whoever heard of that?

Well, he did it.

So you know there's some of them grabbed ahold of their power.

They grabbed ahold of what was available to them in their covenant.

There were some, but the vast majority never really knew that.

See, we got a better covenant.

We have the love of God inside of us.

We're his seed, amen.

And so, as believers, our agape number two, our agape and our faith can both grow, and they should grow.

Our agape, our love, you're never gonna receive from God if your agape doesn't grow In the seed form.

It's just not enough.

You're gonna have to let your agape grow.

How does agape grow?

Well, the same way that your faith grows by knowledge of the word.

The more you know him, the more you begin to encounter how wonderful he is and what he's done for you.

I know we all have that to a degree, but there's bigger degrees and bigger degrees until it just blows your mind.

That's where we're headed and so we can be more like God.

In fact, ephesians 5, 1 says be therefore followers of God or imitators of God, as dear children walk in love Ephesians 5, 1.

So if we're gonna imitate God, we're gonna have to let our love grow and our faith grow.

Then we can act like God.

Well, how does God act?

Well, he always acts the right way.

He calls the things that be, not as though they were.

He always puts Himself in position to give.

You know when you really love, like you should, you're excited to give.

Jesus said it's more blessed to give than it is to receive.

You ever read that and go.

I don't understand that.

Well, you need to get bigger in love, because when you're in love, when you're in the love of God and you give, it's the most satisfying wonderful thing.

See, god feels it makes God just.

You know, don't you wanna please Him?

It pleases Him when he can release such a blessing over you.

All right, and the last one Ephesians 2, 7,.

As we grow in love and revelation of God and His head said, we're in position for God to give us such inconceivable blessings that our light will greatly shine for those in this world who are alone and without hope in the world.

I mean that's what they need.

The church has got to be a light.

It's got to be on display.

We have got to shine so brightly that people get their attention and they say, oh, my goodness, they serve the Father of our Lord, jesus Christ.

There must be something to this Christianity.

I'm attracted to that.

I'm drawn to that light.

I'm drawn to that message.

I need to hear what they're saying.

Glory to God.

They'll shod eye as manifesting Himself in greater measure.

Right now, the end time harvest is at hand.

Come on, lift your hands and receive.

Praise God, hallelujah Woo, glory to God.
