Ruling God's Way

And tonight I happen to be teaching on a subject about governing.

We're calling it ruling God's way.

So I just took a trip to Oklahoma and I was there in the state capital and had an incredible meeting with some state representatives there that asked me to come because the project that we had here in Texas where we hosted church services at the state capital, the worship services at the capital there's been so much great fruit because of that.

Pastors come in there and we give them a tour of the capital.

They hear about the godly governance, they hear the historical, they hear the civic side, how the government works, and many times these pastors never been in their capital and so they're walking in there for the first time, hearing about this stuff and they're excited to minister there and to bring the presence of God in that place.

And at some point during that event, where they're there in the capital, they have a moment where they become awake.

Or, if they're already awake, maybe they're inspired, there's a fire lit under them to do something.

And the questions that we get at the end of that are how can I do this?

How can we get our church involved?

What can we do?

How do we learn about testifying a legislation, or when this stuff happens or how this happens.

What do I do?

And then we're able to follow up with them after that and give them a political report that shows them all of their elected people in their local area and help make the connections between that church and these people who are elected to serve.

And we make sure that that pastor trades numbers with their state representative so that that rep can be responsive to this pastor and that congregation.

And so that has resulted in more churches becoming more active and awake in this world of politics and government where we've been absent for so long.

And so in Oklahoma they're so excited to do this and I'll give you a report about that at the end.

We'll leave the candy at the end.

How's that?

Because it's a pretty good report, but tonight we're talking about ruling God's way, and much of what I'm ministering on tonight is what I got to say to these legislators there, and so I have some more in here tonight, but they heard a lot of this stuff.

So, ruling God's way.

So, going back to Genesis, in the very beginning, god created man and woman and he charged man and woman to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth, to subdue it and have dominion over it.

And so subdue and dominion are two different things.

Subdue means to tread down, to conquer, to bring into bondage or subjection by force, and so we're charged to subdue the earth by force.

It's not a thing that we do from the sidelines or sitting in our chair.

It's something we have to get up and do, put our hands on.

We subdue the earth, and then it says to have some dominion over it.

And dominion means to prevail against, to reign and to rule over.

And so we bring it into subjection and then we rule over it.

And that's what God said we're supposed to do with this earth.

And so there's a way to do that, a godly way to do this.

There are things that are Christians are not authorized to do, and there are things that we are authorized to do.

We are never authorized to give up what Jesus paid for, what he provided for us.

We are not authorized to give up on, to neglect and to give it a like to just forget about it.

We're not authorized to do that.

In the beginning, god framed the world with his words.

He spoke things into existence.

He started out by saying let let there be, and there was, and so we know the story that Adam had that creative voice who was created in the image of God and the in that type of being.

But Adam lost his supernatural voice of authority when he violated God's word and fast forward.

Jesus won that back, he conquered that and brought it back to us, and so he has brought us back into our authority and our purpose.

We are created for good works.

That is our purpose.

According to Ephesians 2, 10, jesus, when talking to his disciples, talked about, or he taught them on, authorized asking.

So in John, chapter 14, verse 12, he said most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, in the works that I do, he will do.

John 14:12

Also, in greater works than these shall he do, because I go to my father and whatsoever you ask or require that's a covenant term right there to to require something, a covenant demand, whatsoever things you require, according to the covenant, in my name, that I will do that.

The glory that the Father will be glorified in the sun.

If you ask anything, if you require anything in my name, I will do it.

And so that Greek word there for for name literally, but really, both literally and figuratively it means authority.

So it's not calling out to his name and saying Jesus, I require this, but I require this in the name of Jesus Means I represent the name of Jesus in my requirement of these things according to the covenant, and so I'm representing somebody who's authorized me to use that name.

I represent that name, I carry that name.

I use that name whatsoever I do, I do it in that name because I'm representing him.

So I require things in that name.

And so he taught us disciples about authorized asking.

And then came the, the great commission.

The great commission begins with authority.

It says all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Go, therefore.

All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.

Go, therefore.

And I find it interesting that Jesus broke it up into two realms it's not on planet earth and in heaven or our home, but it's in the earthly realm.

All authority in the earthly realm and all authority in the heavenly realm.

The Bible talks about these two different realms earthly and heavenly.

All authority in the earthly and the heavenly realm has been given to me.

Go, therefore.

And so he authorized us to go in his authority.

And then came the promise of the Holy Spirit in Acts 1.8, but you shall receive power when that the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

And so that power in Acts 1.8 is the word dunamis.

It means strength, it means violence, it means mighty wonderful work.

And we shall receive this strength, this violence, this mighty wonderful power of the Holy Ghost when the Holy Ghost has come upon us.

And so we have all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.

That therefore go.

He's delegated his earthly and his heavenly realm power to us.

And then he gave us, at his departure, the power, the dunamis, the violence, to get it done, to subdue, to bring it into submission and to rule over it.

He brought us back and gave us everything we needed to bring us back to the original condition and the original intent of man.

And so tonight we're talking about governing God's way.

We now have everything we need to govern God's way.

We know that the government is on his shoulders.

It says in Isaiah, chapter nine, that the government will be on his shoulders.

Talk about lines of authority.

So Jesus didn't do anything except that he was instructed to do so.

He didn't say anything except that he was given it by his heavenly father.

Jesus was somebody under authority.

He operated under the authority of his heavenly father, and that's God.

That's our heavenly father, god.

So the lines of authority start with God.

They come through Jesus.

He delegated it to us, the believers, and so the believers have that delegated authority.

Now, when it turns around, and we're talking about governments and governing authorities here on earth, we delegate our God-given authority.

So from God to Jesus to us, and we delegate a piece of our authority and hand it over to somebody who's going to represent us in some task, some area of responsibility.

The people who we elect into government, the people that we pay to do certain things on our behalf.

We are delegating God-given authority to them to do something in particular.

And so those are the lines of authority.

So turn over to Romans, chapter 13.

And we'll begin in verse one.

This is a chapter, this is this set of verses.

We're going to talk about verses one through five here, and this set of verses is oftentimes misinterpreted because it starts out by saying let every soul be subject to the government authorities.

So then people take that and they think, okay, we're subject to the government.

Whatever the government says we must do.

That's how the entire world got shut down, because the government said in order to keep you safe.

You must do these things, and churches everywhere said well, you know, it's because we got to stay safe and so we shut down.

Let every soul be subject to governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God.

Well, these governments must have God-given authority.

God must have given them special authority that I must be subject to them.

This is the false interpretation, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Therefore, whoever resists the authorities, the resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

I don't want to be judged harshly.

I must obey my government, because God put them in place to rule over me.

That's the interpretation here.

That may have been the condition when you lived in Rome and there was a Caesar, when you served under a king in the Old Testament, but we don't have that kind of government today.

We have a very unique kind of government, a very special government, one that God ordained.

And so that word authority, looking in the first verse there, let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.

That Greek word there for authorities is exosia, which means delegated influence.

It's a jurisdiction.

It means liberty, power, right and strength.

It's a jurisdiction, it's delegated influence, and so it is delegated influence.

It's a jurisdiction.

Let every soul be subject to a delegated influence or a jurisdiction.

And so there's a jurisdiction there.

Our constitution was an answer to prayer.

We have a constitution because man cried out for God's help and God came down and he answered them with a solution.

Our form of government was divinely inspired In Isaiah 33, 22,.

It talks about God, who was our king, our lawgiver and our judge.

Does that sound like three branches of government that we have today?

The executive, the legislative and the judicial branch come from what God was to the Israelites in Isaiah, chapter 33.

And so go back to the very first constitutional convention.

This is where the delegates representing certain states and territories were coming together to argue and negotiate and come up with a constitution that would basically provide the guidelines, the limits, the boundaries for our government to operate within.

And they had been at this for weeks and they had been arguing for weeks and they had gotten nowhere.

There were as many yeses as there were no's on any subject brought up.

And so Benjamin Franklin the oldest one of the bunch, by the way.

In school I was taught he was a heathen, he was a deist, he's a womanizer, he's a drunkard, he's the worst one.

That's what I was taught in school.

So the very worst one of the bunch brings this to the attention of George Washington, who's presiding over this constitutional convention, and I'm not gonna read the whole thing.

I'll quote some of it here in a minute, but let me pull a couple of excerpts out.

He said when we were sensible of the danger talking about when they were in negotiation about the Declaration of Independence they're talking about we're gonna declare independence from Great Britain and our lives were in such danger.

It said we had daily prayer in this room for divine protection and our prayers, sir, were heard and they were graciously answered.

All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of superintending providence-ing in our favor.

To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity.

And have we now forgotten that powerful friend?

Or do you imagine that we no longer need his assistance?

They were trying to create a constitution and they had not yet prayed.

They were doing this under their own power.

And so Benjamin Franklin goes on to say.

He said I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth that God governs in the affairs of men, meaning that if it concerns man, it concerns God.

It's not that God mandates and dictates and pulls the strings of everything that man does, but God governs.

He's concerned about everything that men are concerned with.

God governs in the affairs of men.

And then he says and if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable an empire can rise without his aid?

He said we have been assured, sir, in the sacred writings, the Bible.

We've been assured in the sacred writings, that unless the Lord build, they labor in vain.

Who build it?

He said I believe this and I firmly believe that without his concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building.

No better than the builders of Babel.

Claire talked about Babel and I got to talk about Babel in that meeting with these state reps in Oklahoma City.

And what we have is Babel.

We've got people arguing over all kinds of things, all kinds of issues, taking different sides on things.

There's confusion, there's disagreement.

They don't even speak the same language anymore.

One side's talking to the other side or yelling at the other side.

We're not even talking the same language and nobody can understand where the other one is coming from, and it is Babel.

And it's because it's a godless endeavor and has been for too long.

And so God ordained the authority of our government.

A declaration of independence says that we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that we're endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights.

Among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men having derived their just powers from the consent of the governed, powers that are just come from the consent of the governed.

That means our government has no power, except that we consent to give them some level of power, some measure of power.

So their power, that they have, the authority they have, comes from us, we, the people.

It comes from us and Abraham Lincoln, during the Gettysburg Address, after a terrible battle there and he was dedicating the soldiers national cemetery he said in his remarks.

He said that these dead shall not have lived, it shall not have died in vain, that this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom and that the government of the people, by the people and for the people, shall not perish from this earth.

We owe it to them to ensure that a government of, by and for the people shall not perish from this earth, so that they will not have given their lives in vain.

So let's get back to Scripture.

Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

So if we have a government of the people, by the people and for the people, where the lines of authority come from God through his son Jesus, two believers not just anybody, but two believers who then turn around and delegate authority to somebody to serve in office who must serve and be just, second Samuel I believe it's chapter 23, verse two says that he who rules over men must be just and rule in the fear of God.

Those are God's words.

He who rules over men must be just and rule in the fear of God.

So, from God through Jesus, two believers who delegate their authority to somebody who serves in government and must be just and rule in the fear of God and must have derived their just powers from our permission.

If they violate that, they resist the ordinance of God.

You see how this reads.

When you have an understanding of what kind of government we have, it kind of flips here, and when they resist our authority, they resist the ordinance of God and they bring judgment on themselves.

And verse three says for rulers.

Now, rulers are a person, rulers are a magistrate, rulers are the individual that is installed in that jurisdiction, and they're installed by us.

So rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you wanna be afraid of the authority?

Do what is good and you will have the praise of the same Verse four.

For he is God's ministers to you for good.

Someone who's serving in a governmental office, either elected or hired, in a position to serve the rest of society.

They have the authority, because we've delegated some authority, and now calls them God's ministers and they have a purpose.

And so these are God's ministers.

That Greek word there is diaconos, that's where we get deacon from.

That word minister means an attendant, a waiter at a table or in other menial tasks.

This is somebody installed to okay, we're here for God's kingdom, I'm here for kingdom business.

This is a believer's ministry.

Right here.

We've got stuff to do in this world, in this earth.

We're on a mission for God and we're gonna need some government, and that's a menial thing.

I need to appoint you to handle this.

I need you to attend this menial thing right here and you're gonna operate under our authority and you handle this so that we can do God's business here.

You're God's minister, but it's not as critical as the believer's ministry is.

It's talking about different levels here.

And so God's minister and they're in place in place for righteousness, for he is God's ministers to you for good.

But if you do evil, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain.

He has a job to do and he's got a delegated job to do, and he doesn't do it in vain, for he is God's ministers, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

He is our delegate to execute wrath as God's ministers.

He's an avenger to execute wrath on those who do evil and they're under our authority.

That's the design God designed this government, this form of government that we have to fit in the guidelines of Romans, chapter 13, right here, and to have rulers subject to our authority who will do these menial tasks of governing and ensuring order and being an avenger of those who would do evil, so that we can be about God's business in his kingdom, bringing in the harvest.

And so that's Romans, chapter 13.

So these ministers are God's ministers for righteousness, and so they're God's ministers.

I was a couple of weeks ago.

I was visiting with a constable and he came up to me and wanted to talk and he was telling me, every day, when he puts on his uniform, his straps on his belt, puts on that weapon, puts on his vest and goes out into the world, he's clocking in for duty.

And he was telling me that he heard from Dennis Prager.

Dennis Prager is he's a Jewish man, a rabbi, a talk show host.

He loves this country, he understands the Jewish and the Christian faith.

He talks about our founding, talks about righteousness and government talks about.

He's a really good guy.

And so he was talking about Exodus 20, verse seven, one of the 10 commandments.

I shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.

And so this and I've heard this before, but I'm hearing this from a constable now who heard this from Dennis Prager and he was telling me about it and he understood for the first time what it meant to take God's name in vain.

It's not a cursing, it's not using his name as a curse word, although that would be included in there.

But you gotta understand.

The Israelites didn't cuss like that, they didn't use his name that way, but they had his name.

They were God's chosen people.

They had his name.

We have his name.

Those who serve in office have his name.

One because they ought to be a believer, but two because they've been delegated authority to operate in his name, from God, through Jesus, through us, to be God's ministers for righteousness and not bear the sword in vain and to not bear his name in vain.

He said I wake up with the fear of God every day, and what I do, I do in the name of Jesus.

I do this in the name of my heavenly Father, and I got to talk to him about being a minister for righteousness and he'd never heard that, and so it just kind of all came together for him.

He's like you know, he's God's minister for righteousness and I don't bear his name in vain.

That means I don't misrepresent his name, I don't falsely bear his name, I don't do things in his name that he hasn't authorized me to do, or I don't not do things in his name that he has commanded me to do.

I'm here representing him in everything I do.

And so this officer, this constable, lived with the fear of God going to work every day, not wanting to misrepresent his heavenly Father or his Savior, jesus.

Now you apply that definition to it and that kind of makes all of us gosh.

Have I borne his name in vain?

Have I misrepresented him somehow?

Have I not represented him well enough because I didn't do what he called me to do, I didn't say what he told me to say, or I said something wrong?

I mean, thank God for repentance.

We can repent and turn around and obtain forgiveness like that, but we ought to live with the fear of God, knowing that we bear his name and so all of these things.

We just talked about government, but we're all rulers in this life and Jesus gave us his authority in the earthly realm and the heavenly realm.

Remember when Jesus asked his disciples who do men say that I am?

And they said well, you know something called Elijah or John the Baptist, come again.

Or one of the prophets.

And he said but who do you say that I am?

And Simon Peter said you're Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus said flesh and blood didn't reveal this to you, but my Father, who is in heaven.

So he had revelation knowledge.

Simon Peter had revelation knowledge drop down on the inside of him and he recognized who Jesus was.

And Jesus said that on this rock of revelation, knowledge, on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it and I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.

What do you do with keys?

You unlock stuff or you lock things up.

Keys open things.

Keys can secure things.

He said, I'll give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.

You can operate the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever things you bind on earth or the earthly realm will be bound in the spiritual realm and whatsoever things you bind in the spiritual realm will be bound in the earthly realm.

So you can operate in either of these two realms.

You can bind and loose up here or bind and loose down here.

You are authorized to go both places and have authority and operate in power in both places and rule like I've called you to rule in a godly way, governing God's way.

Jesus then authorized them to rule in the heavenly and the earthly realm.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

You bind and loose, so we need to be binding some more things and losing some other things we have a problem in this nation, in our state, in our city, all over this world.

We have a problem because the church has not operated in the authority and the power that we're intended to operate with.

We should have been binding things and losing other things.

Instead, we're binding the things we should have loosed and loosing the things we should have bound.

We're allowing things that should never have been allowed.

The church sits quietly on the sidelines allowing all kinds of stuff that violates God's word, and so the church has been using God's name in vain.

We're the church.

We're the church of Jesus Christ, we're the church of God, and we're gonna sit on the sidelines and we're gonna allow this evil to happen and we're gonna disallow this good to happen because, well you know, we shouldn't get involved there.

We're the church.

We need to be over here in this building, kept to ourselves.

That's using God's name in vain.

Thou shalt not do that.

We've gotta be actively binding and loosing the right things.

And the neat thing is that when you bind something in the heavenly realm, there's a stop to it.

There's a stop put to it in the earthly realm, and when we stop things in the earthly realm with a physical action.

We put a stop to that here.

There's a stop in the heavenly realm that occurs, and so there's corresponding things that happen.

One affects the other and the other affects the one when we bind and loose and we've got authority to operate in either place and we've got the power to get it done, the authority to rule and the power to subdue and have dominion, and so we've gotta be binding and loosing some more.

And all this I've talked about government here, but this applies in your own personal life too.

We can let or let not.

Let not your heart be troubled, let or let not All kinds of things.

Let there be light, let there be dark.

Jesus God created in the beginning.

He created with His words, and so we can also frame our world that we live in, immediately around us, with our words.

And it comes down to what are we binding, what are we loosing, what are we letting, what are we not letting?

What are we allowing our kids to do?

What are we disallowing our kids from doing?

And the fruit of that is how these kids grow up and they behave and what they become.

By their fruit you will know them.

The tree is known by its fruit, and so we need to operate in a higher level of authority by binding and loosing and disallowing and allowing.

First, corinthians 927 says.

Paul says but I discipline my body and bring it into subjection.

There are what do you let your body do?

What do you not let it do?

We gotta rule over our body.

We gotta rule over our minds.

Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Don't let your mind just think any old thought, but renew your mind through God's word.

Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.

That's a choice you can let or not let.

1 Timothy 3, verse four says that and this is talking about those who serve in leadership positions in the church, and it was a qualification.

It says that one who rules his house well, having his children in submission, with all reverence, for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?

So if you're gonna be in leadership in a church, if you're gonna bust tables in the church, if you're gonna be a deacon in a church or a bishop in the church or any of the levels, you've got to first rule your house well.

We got to rule on our own home.

That's why I beat Claire into submission on a regular.

No, no, I'm gonna freeze now.

Now you're awake.

No, we honor and cherish our wife.

We're gonna get a new one, but there's a ruling.

She and I rule our house together.

I'm the head, like Pastor said, she's the neck that turns that head.

But we've got a rule in all areas that God gave us to have dominion over all areas.

And so we have now what Adam lost.

We got it back.

Jesus paid for it.

Our purpose is for good works.

We get to go and to speak the truth, to represent our God, to represent Jesus Christ to others.

Not everybody's gonna receive it, some are gonna reject it, some are gonna persecute us for it.

But he said, count it all joy, and we're not to fear man.

But if we are rulers in our own world, in our own home, god is looking at you like a ruler in your own place of work.

God looked at Paul as a ruler on that ship.

He saw all those that sailed with Paul.

Paul was the prisoner, but God saw him as the ruler, the one in authority.

And so we fear God.

If you're gonna rule, you gotta do it justly and with the fear of God, and we have authority to do everything that Jesus taught about and did.

We can operate just like he did, and we're to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with power, so that we can do this work.

Let's use those keys to the kingdom of heaven.

Let's not keep them tucked away in our pocket.

Let's operate the kingdom of heaven like we're supposed to and act on his behalf.

Let's rule God's way, the godly way, and so that's the message I have for you tonight.

Now let me share the testimony of Oklahoma City.

So we completed our last worship service at the Texas Capitol, the 19th one, and the one that we had there ministering that night was David Barton.

He's the founder of Wall Builders, he's a constitutional expert, I mean, he's full of our nation's history and God in our history, and he can articulate our history and godliness like nobody else I know.

And so he was there that night and he stood up on that platform.

There was about 185 or so in attendance, the biggest one yet at the very end.

I mean, this thing grew all the way through the legislative session and we had praise and worship and the presence of God was there and David Barton got up and he starts his remarks by saying what we're doing here tonight is unprecedented and this has to be done in all 50 states, all 50 states.

Well, who's gonna do that?

Well, I don't know if we'll get to all 50 states or not, but I know we're moving on some next states.

And so he made a connection.

He and his staff made a connection with two guys that were in Oklahoma.

One is a hay farmer and the other was a pastor, and these two have a couple other pastors that they work with, and they were having regular prayer time with a handful of state representatives there in Oklahoma City at their Capitol, and they'd get together and they'd pray over certain things.

And these men were there to just kind of support and be an encouragement and host the prayer there at the Capitol.

And so it wasn't what we were doing, but they were doing a good thing.

And so we called them up and we had a couple of meetings with them and they were, I think, cautious because they didn't know us, but they were excited about what they were hearing and I know both of them really had a witness from the Holy Spirit while we were on a phone call with them, and so they wanted to introduce us to their state rep, and so, long story short, we have a meeting with their state rep.

I went up there, I'm in the hotel and he calls me the night before.

That's my first conversation with him, and so we got to talk about some things.

He said I want you to come to my office early.

Our meeting's at one.

I've invited a few others to attend, but come see me in my office.

And so we visited in his office for about an hour and some more people were there.

I got to give him some testimonies about what had happened with my God votes here, church services at the Capitol, and we've got to start raising money for this, and I want this money to come in from the outside.

This church has funded this.

We've got this started.

This is a mission's operation of this church, but now we're in the mode where we need to start raising money from the outside and bigger money.

This is going to cost a lot of money.

This is going to cost a lot to do what's in front of us to do.

And so I reached out to someone in the Republican Party who I've been a help to for a long time, and he was somewhat of a mentor and a guide in this political world.

He's a godly man, he's a Methodist guy and I went and had lunch with him and he's one of our partners and I had to signal to for help.

Just like the disciples pulling in that big haul of fish, they just nevertheless, jesus, if I word, we've done it all night, but if I word, we'll let them.

Let's down one more time.

For 20 years God has told this church to wake up the church and it kind of feels like we've labored for a long time and toil, we've been doing this all night, but nevertheless, if I word, we'll do this one more thing.

And now we've got a net full and we can't pull it in.

It's bigger than we can haul in.

So I had to call one of my partners and ask him for help and I made this pitch to him at lunch.

And it's kind of awkward two guys sitting there at lunch and one of them's crying and it's not me, but the presence of God was there at lunch and it hit him.

I've never heard a Methodist man prophesy in my life, but I did that day.

I don't think he knew what he was doing or what he was seeing, because he looked off in the distance and he said James, this is the answer.

He said this is changing the intent and he paused and he closed his eyes and he said they paint the Capitol every year, but for your knowledge, they don't really paint the Capitol every year.

It was a figurative thing that he was seeing.

He said every year they paint the Capitol and every year there's a new coat of paint on it and we put more paint on it and we can't see the shade of the color that was on it before.

And the shades of the paint are changing, are changing from year to year and nobody knows what was underneath the previous years.

He said what you're doing is you're taking a sand blaster to the front doors of the Capitol and you're removing that paint and you're exposing the original intent.

You're bringing it back to the original.

That's redemption.

There's an original intent of government and God has got us doing something that has a significant impact to bring it back to the original intent and I don't know where this is going.

So I got to minister that to this state rep in Austin, I'm sorry, in Oklahoma, in Oklahoma City, and so we're in his office, we're talking, and I told him about what I had seen here in church on a Sunday morning, how there were.

I saw a military roll call and the responses that were coming back were Texas is here, and behind Texas was a group that I think represented pastors and churches, and Oklahoma is here, and so the responses were coming back state by state.

That's what I saw during a church service here on a Sunday.

Then we go to this pastors conference with Mark Hankins and Alexander Lusiana and we present my God votes, and when they came up to talk to us about this, they said hi, I'm Pastor So-and-so from Oklahoma, hi, I'm Pastor So-and-so from Louisiana.

And it happened from several states before I realized this is the roll call I saw and they're answering by state, they're responding to God's call by state, and so I got to share that with him and he was so encouraged.

This is a spirit filled man, this state rep in Oklahoma, and so that was private in his office and so he takes us down the hall.

He had arranged a meeting.

I guess there was about 20 or so that came to hear me.

He told them about me and my God votes and said you have to come here and see if you can be a part of this.

We had never met, and you know, except by phone the night before and 12 o'clock that day for a one o'clock meeting.

He had a witness from the Holy Ghost and he got up in that meeting and he said, if you don't mind, we've got a couple of pictures there.

Just show a couple of the pictures so you can see the setting.

We walk into a big conference room.

It's a committee hearing room.

It's got the microphones on the table.

They got little buttons there so you can vote for, you can vote against, you can abstain, you can turn your mic on and off, and so that's the setting right there.

And he put me at the head of the table right next to him and he said this is going to change Oklahoma.

If we do this, this will change Oklahoma.

And he gave testimony about different pieces.

He said we had some piece of legislation I don't know what it was.

It was something to protect kids some way from the LGBT evil that's out there.

And there were other state reps in this meeting and he talked.

He said look, I'm a fighter, I'm here to fight.

That's why I'm elected.

I'm here to fight for these causes and representative so-and-so over here.

He's here to fight, and this one over here is here to fight.

This is what we're here for, but we can't do this alone.

In this meeting he also invited several pastors and other leaders of faith organizations that operate there in Oklahoma.

He said we can't do this alone.

When we had this bill that was on the house floor and we're arguing this, none of you showed up.

We were by ourselves on this and we can't keep going.

We can't do this without the church being here.

We need the presence of God in this building, and he's quoting things that I told him in that meeting.

He says the church needs to occupy this space.

We're here to occupy and give no place to the devil, but if the church isn't here, we're given place to the devil and then we're operating alone and the presence of God will never occupy this building unless the church shows up and brings it.

And so he's making this pitch for me that this is the answer to their problems.

He said we've been praying for this for a long time.

This came because so and so over here has been interceding for an answer and they've been praying for this for weeks, and now they've come and they're here and we have to do this in Oklahoma.

There were others that were.

They were like the man from Macedonia in a dream, saying come over here and help us.

Come over here and help us.

That's what they were praying for.

Come over here and help us, we need this.

And so this was an answer to their intercessory prayer.

And at the end of that they got up and one of them said can we pray for you before you get out of here?

And he said, if you don't mind, I believe, on the laying on of hands.

I believe that there's a transference, there's power in laying on of hands.

So, if you don't mind, we'd like to lay hands on you.

I said, please do.

And so they prayed for me on the way out and it was a Holy Ghost anointed prayer.

We had a Holy Ghost meeting there in the Oklahoma state capital, and we're bringing the presence of God back in that place.

We're going to wake up churches.

We're bringing churches in to the state capital.

Those churches are going to have a fire ignited under them.

It happens because the Holy Ghost just did it here and he's going to do it there.

And then we've got other meetings lined up in Louisiana after that and Florida after that, and where this goes.

I don't know.

Is it all 50 states?

I can't say that, but it needs to be done in all 50 states.

I can say that.

But those who will make room for this can have it, and we're going to bring it, and so that's the testimony right there.
