Written In Stone

The message tonight.

The title of the message is Written in Stone, and in the beginning was the Word.

We know that.

And the Word was spoken.

God spoke and it was.

Everything that was created was created by Word.

God spoke, his Word was spoken.

It was carried down through generations, the spoken Word of God, and it was then written down and preserved for us so that it could be spoken.

The Word was spoken and it was written so that it could be spoken.

We can bring that right up here on the platform.

It's good.

God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and he did that.

That's perfect.

You did a good job.

Y'all give Him a hand.

God gave the Ten Commandments to the Israelites and he wrote His words in stone for them so that it would be preserved, so that it was last, and so I want you to know that this right here is not the Word, but it's a replica of a piece of stone that I'm going to talk about tonight.

I want y'all to write down these four words, if you will, if you have a smartphone for your pastor's instruction this morning, or if you have a sheet of paper and a pen or a pencil, write down these five words.

I've got five words for you, and I'm going to share tonight with you some things that I recently learned.

This is something that helped me understand Tonight's teaching.

It's educating, but really it's equipping you to live in the time that we're in right now, and my people perish for a lack of knowledge, and I don't want you to perish.

I want to give you knowledge.

This is knowledge that I've recently acquired and I want to share this with you.

I didn't make this up.

I didn't create this.

If you want to go online and look up Kirk Cameron he's got a great voice in today's time and this is a presentation that he gives, and I purchased this from Kirk Cameron himself.

He sold this to me personally, sold it to a lot of other people too, but write down these five words faith, morality.

I'm going too fast.

Let me know Faith, morality, law, education and liberty.

And for those of you who are listening to this message on the podcast or some other way, you don't have the benefit of the video.

You don't have the benefit of the in-person tonight.

So I'll do my best to describe to you what we're talking about.

If you're listening, and it might help you to go online and look up the National Monument to the forefathers, national Monument to the forefathers, and you can find pictures of this replica statue that I have up here to my left, and I'll do my best to describe what's going on as we're making our way through this presentation.

And for you who are here, I have a PowerPoint presentation and a clicker and I'm going to be clicking my way through this because you can't see all of the details that I'm going to describe up here and I want you to see it in a bigger way.

How many have heard of Plymouth Massachusetts?

All right, so most everybody's hands ought to go up Plymouth Massachusetts.

What is Plymouth Massachusetts known for?

Known for a rock, right.

What's the title of tonight's message?

Written in stone?

So you know Plymouth Massachusetts, the rock, plymouth Rock, and it was carved in.

Let's see if I can.

This clicker will work.

Let me turn it on and then it'll work, all right, so there's a picture of Plymouth Rock as it is today.

It's behind bars, it's on the beach and it's there for you to see.

It has 1620 carved into it.

Everybody knows about Plymouth Rock, but not everybody knows about this statue, which is the National Monument to the forefathers, and it's about five miles away.

It's on the other side of a neighborhood.

It's on a hill behind a bunch of trees, and very few people know about this monument.

It was designed in 1820.

It was commissioned by the Pilgrim Society.

These are direct descendants of the Pilgrims who came over here from England fleeing religious tyranny, and they commissioned the design and construction of this monument designed in 1820.

Cornerstone laid at August 2, 1859, but what happened right after 1859 was a civil war, and so before they could really get very far in the construction of this, they had to stop because funds ran out and we had a civil war, and so it was originally designed to be about 150 feet tall, out of a single piece of granite, but the budget was cut in half, and so was the height of this statue.

It stands about 80 feet tall.

Abraham Lincoln was one of the first donors to this project.

You know, everybody knows about the Plymouth Rock, but nobody knows about this right here, and so I'm going to share with you this presentation on the National Monument to the forefathers.

There are five figures on this, on this statue right here, and the top one is known as faith, and the others, as you might have guessed, are morality, law, education and liberty all the way around, and we're going to point out some symbolism here, and this is not all about the statue, but it's about God's Word.

So the tallest statue, the tallest figure on this, is 37 feet tall.

Her name is faith, and the just shall live by what Faith.

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Her finger, you'll know her right finger is pointed up towards heaven and she has a star.

Now let's click there.

She is in the pictures right here on my slides.

I'm not used to having a slide to refer to you.

Look at her forehead.

Her forehead has a star on the forehead right there, and that star is a symbol for wisdom and knowledge.

Proverbs 24, 3, and 4 says Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established.

By knowledge.

The rooms were filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

The book of Proverbs is full of wisdom that God wants us to have on the inside and, as I said earlier, my people perish for a lack of knowledge, and so he wants us to have both knowledge and wisdom.

You'll notice that faith is holding a Bible in her left hand, and something unique about this Bible in her left hand is notice that the Bible is not entirely closed.

Those pages are open.

Those pages are open because you've got the wind of the Holy Spirit blowing on those pages, blowing it open.

This is coming from.

I want you to recognize what point in time this is coming from.

This is pilgrims that have this revelation, knowledge about all these symbolisms that they've put in this statue, because they wanted it preserved for eternity.

They wanted it preserved for all of us to recognize what made this country great in the beginning, what they came over here for, what was important to them, their entire view and perspective of the world as they understood it.

So she's holding a Bible in her left hand and the pages are being blown open by the Holy Spirit, the wind of the Holy Spirit in particular.

You all remember what happened in Acts, chapter two.

It says when they were assembled together in one place and one accord, they were in agreement in one place and the wind of the Holy Spirit came rushing in that room, a mighty rushing wind.

And what was the result of that?

They got filled with the Holy Spirit and they had power to go along with the authority that Jesus had given them.

And with that filling of the Holy Spirit they had revelation, knowledge of the Word of God and we have a.

We have a, a living understanding of what God's Word says, the spoken word of God that was written to us so that we could speak it.

We have a revelation knowledge of that.

This Bible is very unique because it wasn't just any Bible, but it was the Geneva Bible.

The Geneva Bible was the Bible that the pilgrims came over here with and it was the first Bible that was written in the English language, the common man's language, with chapter and verse and even had some explanation notes throughout the Bible so that the common man could understand God's Word and have revelation knowledge of God's Word.

And the people that were in authority for some 1500 years prior to that didn't want the common person to have God's Word.

They wanted it locked up with royalty and they wanted it locked up with religious leaders and and to filter it so that they could control the people.

And when the people began to get a hold of these Bibles and that was written in their language, a lot of people died, lost their lives for simply having the Word of God in their possession.

It was not legal to have a Geneva Bible for a period of time, but the pilgrims came over here with the Geneva Bible and they have revelation knowledge, and, and.

And we have the Bible today because it was written in a language that we can understand.

Thank God.

We how many, have a Bible?

Don't take that for granted.

There were a lot of people in this world that did not get to have a Bible.

They did not have the revelation knowledge.

Now the Buffalo Bills are playing football tonight.

No, they're not.

I just want you to know that they're starting to play football right about now.

The game is kicking off and if God wanted you to know anything about the Buffalo Bills tonight, he'll give you revelation knowledge on that.

You'll have it dropped into your spirit what's going on with the bills tonight, and you won't miss a thing.

So you don't have to worry at all about that.

This monument is planted on a rock.

You know Plymouth Rock is nearby, but this is this.

This has a foundation.

Her feet are planted on a substantial foundation.

They didn't just put faith on the ground, but she's she's on a substantial foundation.

Matthew 7, 24 talks about building on the rock.

It says a wise man who built his house on the rock and when the rains came and the floods came and the winds beat against that house.

It was still standing when the storm was over, and so when you build your house on the rock, when your foundation is the rock, there's no storm that can that can undermine you and take you out.

So the first character you got four smaller characters on here, persons, figures on the on the bottom here and the very first one that we're going to talk about tonight is morality.

And morality is a woman seated here on the pedestal, and in her left hand you can see that she's holding the 10 commandments, and in her right hand she's got a scroll sitting in her lap, right there.

And what's unique about her on this particular monument is that her eyes are closed.

Where all the other ones are open.

Her eyes are closed.

I know you can't see it very well in this, in this image, but her eyes are closed because her morality comes from within.

See, the pilgrims believe that morality was a quality that came on the inside of you when your spirit was reborn after having received salvation from Jesus Christ, and so there was no morality except that you were born again, and that's an internal thing, that's not an external thing.

And so she's looking to the inside for her morality, to her reborn spirit.

Now, on her left, on the bottom of these pedestals there, there's something on the right side and on the left side, and we're going to go through some of these images here.

So we're looking at the left hand side of the pedestal, the seat that morality is sitting upon.

So morality is sitting on a pedestal holding the 10 commandments and her left hand has the scroll of revelation.

In her right hand and on her left hand side you'll notice the small words written on the bottom of that pedestal right there, and it says evangelist.

And our religious liberty begins with a transformation of the heart through the Spirit of God.

But it came by the preaching of the gospel.

Somebody had to preach.

How can they hear unless it's preached?

It required an evangelist to go preach.

You're all evangelists by the way.

You live a life, you have a mouth, you're full of the Holy Spirit, you have a knowledge of God's Word and every time you open it and speak God's Word, you are an evangelist.

And so you can't share morality, except that it's preached and ministered to other people.

And so Romans 1.16 and 17,.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

It is the power of God and to salvation for everyone who believes that, the Jew first, and also for the Greek, for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith.

As it is written, the just shall live by faith.

And so you begin to love what God loves and you begin to hate what God hates.

When God's morality becomes your morality.

And you can't have.

You know, people walk around with this idea of you know what's going on in the world, and you can't have.

You know, people walk around with this idea of you know what's good for me is good for me, what's good for you is good for you.

And I'm not immoral and neither are you.

We can believe different things, but there is no basis in morality anymore and people just do whatever they want and there's no sense of morality On the right hand side of that pedestal.

Let's go back to the left hand side.

So in that pedestal right there is a figure, and it's hard to see in that image right there, but it's a figure of a preacher preaching God's word and he holds the New Testament scroll and the Ten Commandments in his hand.

Similar to what morality is holding there.

So to the right, on the right side of the pedestal, is a prophet and it says the word prophet right there and it's got the image of a prophet.

In fact it has the image of the great prophet Moses holding the Ten Commandments in that image.

And so apparently the pilgrims believed in morality and they believed in evangelism and they believed in the prophetic.

Now, talking about the Ten Commandments 1971, the Supreme Court heard a court case this was Lemon versus Kurtzman and in a five to four decision, 1971, it was not that long ago In five to four decision they called the Ten Commandments primarily religious and ordered it taken out of the schools.

So that was 1971.

I want you to kind of just think back through your mind, 1971, through the present.

What's happened through the course of our recent history since pulling the Ten Commandments out of schools?

There has been a very steep decline of the morality in our culture, in our society, because we pulled the basis of morality out of schools and we said we have to have a separation of church and state, a wall of separation, such that you can't have anything religious in the public square, in the public buildings, in our courthouses, in our schools, anything governmental.

They've been very good at eliminating anything that could be construed as religious and that was all based on Lemon versus Kurtzman and they produced what was called the Lemon Test and it's a three-pronged test.

That basically means that whatever it is, whatever symbol, whatever practice, whatever thing we're talking about, must have a purpose that is primarily secular in order for it to be constitutionally allowable.

In public buildings, in government, in schools, in anything government has its hands on, must be primarily secular.

That was the Lemon Test 1971.

Well, I've got good news for you, because I think it was last year, kennedy versus Bremerton School District, so I don't know.

You may have seen it in the news.

Coach Kennedy, the coach that went out on the football field and he went and knelt and prayed and was.

They filed lawsuit against him and they fired him over that because he prayed and it was a public school setting and you can't do that.

Well, he did and it went to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court got to looking at this.

By the way, we've got Supreme Court justices that Trump put on there and this is why we have eliminated this Lemon Test now.

So in Kennedy versus Bremerton School District coach, he knelt on the field.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the Lemon Test is no more and can no more be applied and the new standard says that any longstanding religiously expressive monument, symbol or practice is anything that's longstanding, any of the religious practices, symbols, monuments If they're longstanding in our history, in our culture, in our time, they must have a strong presumption of constitutionality.

That means if it's been throughout the course of our history up until 1971 and it was okay until 1971, then it must have a strong presumption of constitutionality.

So since 1971 until now, there's been 7,300 court cases that have been decided against religious freedom in the public places, in the public buildings.

7,300 court cases have bad decisions with them and that means we have a lot to go undo.

But what we have is we have a case where we have religious liberty.

The Supreme Court has overturned a bad ruling that has bound this nation, and we have religious freedom and nobody knows it.

Nobody knows it.

Slavery has ended and nobody knows it.

So we've got to help people get the word out and we've got to begin to practice this religious freedom that we have.

And yes, they're going to bring cases against you, but it's going to go to the Supreme Court and it will be decided in our favor, because if it has a longstanding history, it must be constitutional, and so we can have the 10 Commandments back in school, and it's okay.

Now our Texas Supreme, our Texas legislator, legislators I think it was in the Senate they had a bill that would require the 10 Commandments to be placed in all schools, and it failed in the House.

You got to have both houses, the Senate and the House, do this.

You pass the bills before it goes up to the governor for signature, before it becomes law.

But we're breaking ground on this, and so there is progress in the right direction.

We have religious liberty, and why is it important about the 10 Commandments?

They used to be in the schoolhouses, but in Romans 1.28 it says since they did not think it worthwhile to retain a knowledge of God, they didn't think it worthwhile to retain a knowledge of God.

God turned them over to a reprobate mind so that they would do those things which ought not to be done.

And so if there's no basis for morality, if there's no knowledge of God, you can't have a morality.

Our kids in school can't have a morality.

If there's no knowledge of God, you can't have morality without God.

If they don't have a knowledge of God, there's no sense of morality.

And so that was the decline from 1971.

We pull out the knowledge of God, any reference of God, and the morality goes away, and we want to bring it back, and so we can reverse this.

So in the bottom of each one of these figures on here there is alet's.

Look at the front of this and out they don't show it.

Here we go.

There's a marble inlay right there, and I'll just briefly go over what these are.

So the marble inlay under morality is what's called the embarkation, and it was the pilgrims all saying goodbye to their loved ones as they launched out.

For the sake of morality, they launched out on this journey.

The next one is law, and so there's a figure right there called law.

I'm going to rotate this on my pedestal so we can be looking at the same thing and you'll notice where faith is holding the Geneva Bible, with the pages being blown open by the wind of the Holy Spirit.

The revelation, knowledge and law sits right up underneath that.

It wasn't an accident that the Bible is above man's law.

No accident.

God's law is higher than man's law and our laws can't be any good unless they align with God's laws.

When we write laws, they've got to be in alignment with God's laws or it's no good law.

So this figure named Law, on his right hand side is the word justice, and you'll see there a set of a figure holding the set of scales.

And what you can't really see very clearly in that image is in the left hand they're holding a sword.

So I'm going to go over to Romans 13 and give you the scripture reference for this one.

Verse 1 says Let every soul be subject to the governing authority, for there is no authority except from God and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Verse 3, rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you want to be afraid of the authority?

Do what is good and you will have the praise from the same, for he is God's minister to you for good.

But if you do evil, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is God's minister and an avenger to execute wrath on him.

Who practices evil, those who are in governing authority, particularly the executive branch, because our branches of government are designed by God.

He's our king, he's our law giver, he's our judge.

That's the three branches of government right there.

So particularly the executive branch of government executes the law and he carries a sword, but he needs to do it justly, with justice, and he carries that sword and doesn't bear that sword in vain.

God calls him an avenger, god's minister and avenger, to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Now, what happened to avenging evil in our society, particularly Harris County, where we've got criminals that get let right back out on the street to repeat their crimes over and over again?

There is no wrath against evil anymore because we don't have morality in our government anymore and our laws don't align with God's word anymore, and so we're off course in such a severe way here.

So on the left side of this pedestal, under law it says mercy.

So we've got to have a godly balance between things that are just and still showing mercy.

God's merciful.

His mercies are new every day, but he doesn't tolerate evil.

He's just, and so there is a balance of justice and mercy.

That figure right there is.

Well, let's just say this the biblical worldview and the laws are based on God's word.

If we have a biblical worldview, the laws that we institute in our society are based on God's word.

If we're going to have a civil society, we've got to have good laws, just laws, merciful laws and laws that will still punish evil.

Otherwise we don't really have laws at all.

Below this figure is a marble inlay, and it was the signing of the peace treaty with the American Indian tribes.

Let's move on to the next figure.

This is education, and this is a woman sitting here pointing to a book of knowledge.

She's teaching out of that book of knowledge, right there.

Proverbs 22.6 says train up a child in the way they should go when they're old.

They will not depart from it.

Let me just say this about training a child Training a child is not letting a child.

It's not letting a child make decisions.

It's not letting a child decide what gender that they would like to be.

It's not letting a child decide what brand of cigarettes or alcohol they'd like to consume or smoke.

We don't let children raise themselves.

When we do, we end up with hellions who have no morality, who cause all kinds of trouble on the street.

It says to train up a child.

So training is not letting a child.

Training is disciplining them through repetitive action to a dedicated cause.

You are dedicated to train this child up to a particular cause and we're going to repeat this over and over and over again until we get it right and discipline is love.

Saying no is love, spankings are love.

We discipline our children, and there's a lack of discipline in our schools.

Carol, do y'all have any discipline left in the schools anymore?

I mean, I yeah, I know it is so hard.

We're asking teachers to do something.

That is absolutely impossible, because we have an immoral society Parents who don't train up a child in the way they should go.

What they do is they drop them off at the school and expect the teachers to somehow provide instruction while maintaining order in the class, without any means of disciplining the children, and so we have chaos in the schools and it hurts our whole society.

There's also a laurel wreath around education's head right there, and so in the Greek culture, the laurel wreath was something that the champions put on.

That means there's victory.

She has victory.

Yet in all these things, we are more than conquerors.

Through Him who loved us, there's a victory right there.

There's a conqueror right there, more than a conqueror.

She's not bearing the sword.

She didn't get, she didn't go through a fight.

Jesus went through that fight.

Jesus defeated, and he made her more than a conqueror because she got all the benefit of the victory without having any of the struggle that went with that.

Jesus paid for that.

He bought that.

He went through that fight for us and made us more than conquerors.

And she gets to wear the crown of victory on her head.

On her right-hand side is the word youth, and you see a mother and a child right there, and that mother is holding her hand, holding that child's hand, not letting that child go wherever.

But you can see that there's love and instruction in that figure right there, training up the children.

On the other side of that pedestal is wisdom, and wisdom is an old man with some gray in his beard and on one hand he's holding a globe and on the other hand he's holding a Bible.

The Bible is not on the hand.

He got a globe down by his feet on one side and a Bible by his feet on the other side, and so that tells you that that wise man has a biblical worldview, a biblical view of the globe of the world.

You think that's a modern term, but this is what pilgrims came up with.

They had a true biblical worldview.

And so below this figure here is another marble inlay, and this one here is depicting the signing of the Mayflower Compact, which was a covenant.

They covenanted together with God on a mission and they had purpose on their mission and they declared the purpose of their mission.

They said having undertaken this journey, having undertaken this voyage for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith, they left their place and came here all for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.

That's why this nation began for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.

Don't let anyone tell you this is not a Christian nation.

This is the purpose of this nation from its very beginning, from the very inception.

That was its purpose.

And the last figure on here is liberty, for the law of the spirit of life, and Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8, 2.

He's made us free from the law of sin and death.

The law of the spirit of life has made us free from the law of sin and death.

We were slaves to sin and he set us free.

Claire said something earlier that liberty issome.

People think liberty is not having any laws.

There's actually bondage in that.

But when you have godly laws and you follow godly laws, there's freedom, and we have freedom in Christ.

James, chapter one, verse 25,.

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

There is blessing in being a doer of God's word and understanding what God's word, not just a hearer.

And the sun sets free is free indeed.

And so this figure right here.

There's a lot going on with him.

They left a nation where they were under the rule of tyrants, and now they're free from the tyranny of England, where they came from.

They came here and they established a new thing and they're now free.

You'll notice here that liberty is a very strong looking person.

He is a strong man, he's a warrior and he's also wearing the whole armor of God, the whole armor of God.

He's got the helmet of salvation, he's got a breastplate of righteousness.

His longings are gird about with truth.

His feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

You don't see a shield of faith there, but we do have a figurine called faith.

I'll give him credit for that.

And you see, he's got a sword in his lap.

That's in its sheath.

If you look closely you'll see some shackles around his ankles and on his wrist and there's some chain, some fragments of chain dangling there and they're broken.

They're broken because he's been set free from tyranny.

Tyranny has been overthrown.

Tyranny has been defeated.

The devil has been defeated.

He was once under the law of sin and death and now he has been set free through Christ Jesus and he's protected.

He's got the whole armor of God.

Why is that sword in its sheath?

It's in its sheath because the battle's been won, the war has been fought, the battle's been won.

But let me spend my statue around here so that.

So the way this statue is positioned on that hill in Plymouth, massachusetts, hidden behind those trees, about five miles from Plymouth Rock, this figure, liberty, is facing England and his eyes are open.

He's been set free, but he is not sleeping on the job.

He's vigilantly watching.

It's almost like he's sober and vigilant because there's an adversary, a devil that walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Liberty is vigilant here and over his shoulder, right here, is a lion's claw draped over his right shoulder and across his back is the skin of that lion, and the lion's head is actually right here under his right elbow.

You know what the lion symbolizes Great Britain.

That was the symbol of Great Britain.

He has defeated the lion.

The devil has been defeated, tyranny has been defeated.

Therefore, submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

He didn't just comply with the laws of Great Britain.

He didn't just conform himself to the tyranny, what tyranny said.

He didn't just put on a mask.

He didn't just shut down his business or his church or what he was doing.

He didn't comply with any of that tyrannical nonsense.

He resisted the devil.

He didn't believe the lie of the God of this age, because his mind was transformed and renewed by God's word so that he could prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

On the right hand side of tyranny is a relief image of a man who's also known as Liberty, and he's kind of celebrating right there because his foot is on the beast and his sword is at the beast's throat.

He has his foot on the devil In this case it was the tyrannical England, but in our case he has his foot on the devil.

He's got the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, sharper than any other sword out there.

It divides, it cuts, it separates.

It's an effective weapon against the devil.

And on the other side is peace, and that's a picture of Liberty's wife right there and she's carrying a basket of food and gifts for her friends because they're at peace and she can celebrate because her husband's home from war.

The devil has been defeated.

His back has not turned on the devil.

He's vigilantly watching.

But now in peacetime, they can do things like this, and so Liberty is looking out and he's ready to defend.

What is he gonna defend?

He's gonna defend his faith.

He's gonna defend his Bible, his right to have one and read one.

He's gonna defend the biblical morality and the gospel of Jesus that changed his heart.

He's gonna defend the laws Back here under the Bible.

Remember law.

He's gonna defend the law that was godly law, his ability to self-govern.

He's gonna defend his right to train up his children in a biblical worldview and not be subjected to the God of this world.

He's gonna defend all these things.

He'll never let his kids be subjected to the God of this world, be blinded by the God of this world.

He's never gonna let his kids, he's not gonna turn them over to a tyrannical entity that's gonna undo all the good that we pour into our kids.

We, as parents, we pour all kinds of good into our kids.

Tell me, what good is it when you raise your children up and about the age of 18, you send them off to Harvard to have all that undone and you can say but it's Harvard, and my child was really smart and they got a full scholarship.

They got 100% paid for a scholarship for four years at Harvard.

Is it worth it If they lose their own soul?

It's not worth it.

And so somebody who's vigilant is never going to let that happen.

And I know that we have a government today that's a reflection of the people who put it into office, and that means we've got to do some things to change the reflection of the people.

We've got to change some people to get things right.

We're not going to elect our way out of a mess in this country.

The answer is not an election, it's not another politician, although those are tools that can be used.

But electing even the best person into any one office is still not going to solve this problem when we have no basis of morality.

I just thought of Jude, jude, verse three, since there's only one chapter, said Beloved.

I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation.

But I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which once was delivered to the saints.

For certain men have crept in unnoticed who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the holy Lord God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Certain men have crept in a long time ago and we've got to shine light and expose this stuff and we've got to begin to reverse this.

And how do we do this?

The evangelism, talking, opening your mouth, sharing with people what you know, helping people get on the right side of things Below tyranny.

There is that marble inlay of the landing at Plymouth Rock, and so that was the beginning of their liberty, when they escaped tyranny there.

You know we have a constitution, but John Adams said that it was only for immoral and religious people and it was wholly inadequate for the government of any other.

And he also called morality and virtue a foundation for our republic and said that they were entirely necessary for any society to remain free.

And so we've got to restore the moralities, we've got to restore the virtue of our society by training up our kids in the way they should go, not turning them over to the devil, but ensuring that they have a true knowledge of God's Word, a biblical worldview, so that we can begin to exercise our morality, so we can begin to have good laws that align with God's laws, so that we can have a system of justice and mercy.

And so all of this right here is a recipe for how to get back to what we once had.

It's a roadmap for how to get back to where we once had, talking about our kids and the morality they had, the knowledge of God that they had.

This is obviously not an original book, but it's a copy of one from 1777.

This is the New England Primer.

This is what first graders would get All through.

Really, they had several versions of this going through the 1600s, 1700s, almost I don't know if it quite went up to the 1800s, but first graders, their education was based in God's Word.

You think about first graders and what they learn.

Well, you know they learn the alphabet.

They're learning to read.

This is how they learn the alphabet.

In here they've got the alphabet A, b, c, d, all the way through Z, and they've got a woodblock printing of an image in here, and so A is in Adam's fall.

We send all B heaven to find the Bible mind.

C is for Christ crucified for sinners died.

D the day lose.

How many first graders know what the word day lose is?

The day lose drowned the earth around.

E Elijah hid by Ravens fed.

I mean, it is Bible all the way through here.

In fact, there are something like I think there's about 50 questions that dealt directly with the 10 commandments alone.

First graders learn the 10 commandments and they came up with about 50 questions to quiz them on on the 10, 10 commandments and there's 50 questions about it.

That ought to tell you how important they had a knowledge of God.

And since they had a knowledge of God, they did not have a reprobate mind and they weren't doing the things that they ought not to do.

But now we have the reverse of that.

Did you know that kids in the first grade would learn entire chapters by memory, like the book of John?

They would learn the book of John by memory and be able to recite it to you, not just a chapter, but like the book of John.

These are young school kids.

I can't I can't even picture a school kid today, anywhere from pre-K whatever to 18, who could memorize all that and be able to quote that back to you.

It's just not there anymore.

There's a complete dumbing down.

That's happened and it's intentional by the God of this world.

And so I talk about this, this statue containing a roadmap for how to get back to what was lost.

It's also, sadly, a roadmap to destroy this country, because if you take away the faith, if you take away the morality, if you take away educating our kids with morality, if you take away laws that align with God's Word and are just laws, then you'll end up with a lion seated in this chair right here and the skin of liberty draped over his shoulders and liberty's head under the foot of the lion.

This is the reverse course too, and so I tell you this tonight because it's an incredible testimony to the understanding of God's Word that the pilgrims had, and they wanted to ensure that it was enshrined in stone, that it wouldn't go away.

And I don't think many people in here how many people maybe you've seen some of this presentation before, but just by a show of hands how many of you ever heard before tonight of the monument to the forefathers?

So we've got one family here.

We've got a family here, two, three, four, five families out of this room that have ever heard of the monument to the forefathers before tonight.

And my question, carol, do they teach this in any school?

Aja, derek, they teach in this in school.

Do you think this would be an important thing to be teaching our kids?

I think it's a desperately critical thing to teach our kids this kind of thing.

But I said the God of this world had a plan to destroy this nation and to steal this stuff away so that we would once again be under tyranny.

And I've quoted this before and I'm going to wrap this up.

But Antonio Gramsky, an Italian Marxist philosopher, roughly 150 years ago, talked about how to destroy freedom, how to destroy Christianity.

He said that socialism is the precise religion that must overwhelm Christianity, called socialism a religion that must overwhelm Christianity.

And then he went on to describe how that would be done, and it would be through infiltrating the media, the universities, the churches and the schools.

And so you see where we are today, and kids are going through these schools and we're doing our best to educate them on the basics of knowledge, of reading and writing and math and a little bit of history and a little bit of science and some physical education, but really what it turns into is as a containment zone for kids that are unruly and largely immoral, because the parents were a product of that same institution that was stolen away a lot of years ago when God was taken out, and the only answer that we have is to put God back in.

And so there's hope, there's a roadmap to get back to where we need to be.
