2024 - The Year Of Momentum 3

Say heavenly Father, you are so good to me, you're covenant, faithful, and as the days and years go by, you're revealing to me more and more of your heart.

I'm getting to know you the way that you want to be known.

I thirst for fellowship with you.

You're so good to me and I thank you for this truth that keeps me anchored in these days.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated and let's turn in our Bibles to Acts 19 and we'll read our cornerstone scriptures.

As most of you know, we're sharing a series of messages on 2024, the year of momentum.

I mean, the Texans had some momentum yesterday.

I'm talking about them, texans.

They used to say, how about them cowboys?

But I don't even worry about the cowboy.

How about them Texans?

I mean, I know some of you don't care, that's fine.

Whatever, I'll have football and I enjoyed that game.

That's the best game I think I've ever seen them play in my life.

I mean, I've been watching them.

I think it goes all the way back to the oil.

I think it's better than the Oilers.

I think you just go all the way back to 1960.

That's when I first saw the Oilers play.

I know most of you weren't even born in 1990.

All right, it's okay.

All right, year of momentum.

They had the momentum, I'm telling you, especially after the second pick, six in a row.

I mean I think the roof came off.

Ethan, did the roof come off of the?

Ethan went to see it.

He was sitting in the nosebleed section.

All right, we've got momentum.

All right, acts 19, verse eight.

And this is talking about Paul and the disciples from Ephesus who he found.

They were disciples of John.

So he got them saved, got them filled with the Holy Ghost, laid hands on them, they filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

And then he took them Verse eight he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for the space of three months Everybody shout three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

But when divers were hardened and believed not but spake evil of that way before the multitudes, he departed from them and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one, tarenis.

And this continued by the space of two years Everybody shout two years.

And so that all they, that which dwelt in Asia Minor, heard the word of the Lord Jesus, and both Jews and the Gentiles.

And God brought special miracles by the hands of Paul, so that from his body were brought under the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them and the evil spirits went out of them.

And I'm gonna skip down to verse 20.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed and prevailed.

And so, going to Galveston, I saw a couple of weeks ago a Northwest wind that had flattened the surf.

I mean, it was just lapping on the beach.

It wasn't even a wave, just a little old lap about an inch tall, and the gulf was flat Just because of prevailing Northwest wind.

And it wasn't that strong, it wasn't 30, 40 miles an hour, it was 10 to 15.

And so it didn't take that much for the momentum of that wind to prevail over the waves.

And that's what I immediately thought of this verse in 20.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed, and God seemed to put in my heart about this year, 2024, the year of momentum.

And so we've established momentum it's the force with which one body strikes another, a force gained by a series of events.

I began to think about this church.

We're entering into our 30th year as a church glorious way churches 30th year, 29th anniversary coming up on the 29th of this month, and 30 in the Bible is the year of dedication to the call.

Jesus was 30 when he started preaching full time.

John the Baptist was 30 when he entered into his ministry, the Aaron's priesthood, all the priests were 30 when they started to become official rabbis and priests.

And David was 30 when he took over the throne of Israel.

So the year 30 is a number, a Bible number.

It means dedication to the call and this church by a series of events, of obedience over 30 years.

I mean, just think about the seed that this church, individually of you and collectively, all of us together, just think of the seed we've sown for 30 years together.

And I know not all of you have been here all 30 years.

Some of you've been here all 30 years, some of you haven't, but it doesn't matter whether you came here 30 days ago or 30 years ago.

You're all joining in with that momentum.

You get part of the momentum, you know You're part of it.

Praise God.

And so this force gained by a series of events, and so the word of God grew, mightily, mightily grew and prevail.

The word prevail means to overcome, to gain the victory, to advance, to have the superiority, and then it means to have effect, power or influence by a series of events.

There's that word again, a series of events.

You know it's not what we say once.

It's whether we have a systematic discourse.

You know it's what you're saying over and over again.

A woman with an issue of blood didn't just say I shall be healed one time.

She kept on saying it all the way to where Jesus was and she crawled on her hands and knees.

And I can just imagine her saying all the way on that crawler, on her hands and knees.

Why didn't she do that?

Because they thronged him.

There was a massive crowd there and she had to get to him.

And she got to him crawling on her hands and knees I shall be whole.

All I've got to do is grab ahold of him, of his garment, and she did.

And boom, she felt power go of virtue.

She felt power.

She felt in her body, she was healed of that plague and he felt virtue or power go out of his body.

He didn't even know who she was, he didn't know why she was there.

But power, she made a demand on the anointing.

Let me tell you something momentum will make a demand on the devil and cause him to relax his grip on your finances, on your health, on your family.

Praise God, momentum.

Glory to God.

So, paul, here in Acts, by a series of events that lasted two years and three months, the Word of God grew and mightily prevailed.

Word of it.

Was it just in the atmosphere?

Well, you know, the Holy Ghost was there, no question in the atmosphere, but it was in the hearts of the people that received the message.

They were changed and I mean they began to move out in their ministries, the believers ministry.

You know, the believers should be laying hands on the sick.

It ought not be up to somebody traveling around having some kind of healing crusade.

I mean, I've had those and I'm gonna you know if I believe in those, but that's not the primary way the gospel is preached.

I was in coming back, actually from India with Brother Osteen in 1994, when he had this great crusade at Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, the capital of India, and it started out the first night of the crusade we had about 60,000 people there.

It was quite a sight to see.

By the end of the four night crusade it was over 100,000 people.

The last two nights of the crusade I got to stand up there behind the pulpit and sing and share my testimony and minister to that many people.

It was quite a sight.

I'll never forget it.

I'll never forget the people.

They just were so hungry for what we were saying and I saw lame people walk.

I saw miracles.

I saw like a book of Acts.

That week One guy got a brand new heart and I mean I don't know, I just don't want to go into all of that, but I'm just on the way home.

I began to think, you know that was tremendous.

How many of those would it take to reach India?

You had 100,000 and they've got a.

At that time, in 1994, they had a billion people that live there and you know the age group of the biggest age group was under 14.

So you're talking about a multiplication.

I don't know what it is now, but it was huge.

And I mean these people live in squalor, most of them.

I mean they have the caste system.

I mean the poor are the poor and they stay poor.

There's nothing, nobody helps them.

They beg but it doesn't do much good.

They lay on the.

They've got a little curb.

We were driving from the airport to the hotel.

There was a 12 inch wide curb between two very busy sides of the highway.

People drive in 50, 60 miles an hour, both directions, and I saw people laying on their side in the middle of the highway on a curb that wide, about that tall.

That's all I mean.

If anybody just kind of swerves a little bit, they're dead.

Put them out of their misery.

I guess is what their attitude was.

Maybe I'll come back as a, maybe I'll come back as a horse next time.

Say they believe in reincarnation, they have 300 million gods.

It's not that they don't worship, they worship the wrong thing.

Are you with me now?

But I came back.

I said God, what would it take if we had one of these every week?

And I, for you know I did some math and I you know it was 400 years or something before we could even reach all of the people in India, and of course that doesn't account for the growth.

So it's not the answer.

The answer is not having healing crusades, the answer is having the word of God get in your heart so that it grows modally and prevails in your life and you start spreading it out one on one, with everybody.

You know, Come on the believers.

Everybody say the believers, minister.

So two years and three months, it wasn't instant.

But I mean all of Asia Minor?

Did all of Asia Minor get saved?

Absolutely not.

They didn't all get saved.

They all were brought to a point of decision.

That's our job.

Our job is not the results.

Our job is not the results of India being saved.

No, our job is all India here.

Well, you know all India's hard.

It's time to move on to some other people, groups that have not heard, and that's what we're investing some of our missions, money and places where the oppression is terrible.

The churches are underground and most of the people that are being preached to have never heard the name of Jesus, has never seen a Bible.

Those are the people that need to hear.

If you've heard already, okay, it's up to you now.

Yay or nay.

A lot of them are nay.

I hate it, I wish it were different, but the only answer is to keep on doing what we're doing.

Amen, all right.

So two years and three months, and he had this, the series of events that created this massive momentum.

Last week we talked about, moses sent Joshua and he said pick out some good warriors Not all these doofuses are any good at warfare Leave them at home and get the ones that will fight and take them with you down there and confront the Amalekites.

Confront them, and we found out that he's.

You know this.

You know, the Amalekites come from Esau and they hate Israel.

They always have.

I mean, esau might have had a reunion with Jacob, but he didn't.

You know, he didn't teach his kids to love their cousins, and so they hate them to this day.

And so, as long as Moses stretched out his rod, then Joshua and the Israelites prevailed over the Amalekites.

And when he got tired, it was, it went the other way, went the other way.

And so, finally, thank God, the ministry, the associated ministers, were not just sitting there spitting in their spit tune, twiddling their thumbs, they were observing what's going on and they got busy helping the man of God that said hey, come on, boys, get this big rock and set it over here, for Moses can sit down and rest.

He's going to be up here until dark 30.

He's going to be up here until we prevail At least I'm time.

Prevailing it takes two years and three months.

I'm time.

Prevailing takes 30 years.

Are y'all with me now?

You got to be in for the long haul.

And so here they were.

They brought the big old rock for him to sit on, and then Aaron and her got on each arm and they held up Moses arms, and that way the rod didn't drop.

And I'm telling you, israel discomfited the Amalekites.

He laid them prostrate on the ground.

Glory to God.

And the victory was so powerful.

God said I want you to build an altar to Jehovah Nisi, that at that point we just sang about Jehovah Nisi Fights my battles.

Jehovah, our banner.

You know we're not in this thing with, with glorious way, church written on the banner.

It's Jesus name is written on the banner.

We're here under his authority, we're under authority of heaven.

We don't, we're not hearing our own name, we're not doing our thing.

This is kingdom business.

And so Israel.

See, israel was, was functioning under God.

It was God's idea.

He revealed himself as one of the covenant names Jehovah Nisi, the Lord, our banner.

And so he let Israel know that they were not doing this and their own, because they were mad at the Amalekites.

God was mad at them.

Are y'all with me now?

Y'all are looking at me kind of crooked.

I tell you what he is not pleased with unbelief.

He's not pleased with idolatry.

He sent his son to pay for that sin.

But the time is running short.

It's running really the hourglass.

I'm telling you.

The sand is passing through.

We're living in the compression of the ages.

The time is going to come very soon.

I don't I'm not prophesied it, I just know it from the Bible.

The time is coming where the day of the Gentiles will be fulfilled and no more people get saved by calling on the name of the Lord.

You know how they get saved in the tribulation period by dying a martyr's death.

That's the only way to go to heaven.

You read it yourself.

I'd rather die to my flesh right now.

It's a lot easier than having you know in the book of Revelation.

People are crying out to die, they're trying to die and they can't die.

That's how horrible it's going to be.

It's going to be a terrible, terrible, terrible time and I don't plan on tribulating.

If you want to stay in tribulate, you go right ahead, but I'm going up in the first load.

Amen, alright.

So Israel operated under Jehovah and Nessie, the Lord, our banner.

They represented God and everything they did.

Okay, now let's turn to Joshua, chapter two.

Today, and I want to give you these wonderful underpinnings of this, of this idea that 2024 is a year of momentum.

Joshua, chapter two.

You know, god gives us these prophetic.

It's been doing that since the year 2000.

Every year there's a.

It's a year of something.

And why does he do that?

Well, it's, first of all, we're counting down to the rapture Number two.

It's a prophetic marker to help us all get on the same page about what to believe.

Don't you want to know what to believe specifically for your life?

Say it this this has to do with your life and your circumstances, as well as what we're doing together.

It's it's all encompassing Joshua, chapter two in verse one.

I see they're right on the edge and Moses has died for chapter one.

Moses, my servant, is dead.

Now, therefore, rise and cross this Jordan.

They hadn't crossed it yet.

Before they crossed it, he sent these two spies.

Joshua, verse one Joshua, the son of none, sent out of sheep Tim, two men to spy secretly, saying go, view the land, even Jericho.

And they went and came into a harlot's house named Rahab and lodged there.

She took them in and they spent the night with her.

If you read all these other verses, you find out that spy the spies were discovered.

They knew they were there in town.

The king knew about it.

They sent out soldiers to find them and they actually came to Rahab's house.

They were seen here.

Where are they?

She hid them.

She took her life in her own hands to hide them on the roof of her home and and we'll pick it up here, in verse nine, and this is after they've come and she said oh no, they.

They came all right, but they left.

And then she, she lied for them, verse nine and she said under the two spies the men listen to what Rahab the harlot said.

She's a listen, she's a Gentile, she's part of the enemy's camp, she lives in Jericho, okay.

And she said under the man I know that the Lord that word Lord is Jehovah.

I know that Jehovah, covenant keeping God.

Listen to what this Gentile knows about God.

She knows God is the covenant keeping God.

I know that Jehovah has given you the land.

I wish people knew that today.

I wish, I wish all these numbskulls, I wish Kerry and Blinken and Biden and all the rest of these fools knew what Rahab the harlot knows.

I think they know it.

They just don't want to admit it.

There is no two state solution.

That's a bunk, she said.

I know that the Lord has given you the land and that your terror is falling upon us and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

My margin says melt.

If you ever microwave Jell-O, it just melts.

I mean microwave Jell-O, it just it disappears.

That's what happened to them.

They just kind of melted.

They had, they had walls 15 foot thick, so thick that chariots could run on top of them.

I mean, these are warriors, these.

This is the most fortified, fearsome city in all of Canaan land.

And they have been terrified Because verse 10, four.

Because why were they terrified?

Because we heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did under the two kings of the Amorites that were on the other side, jordan, namely Sion and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt.

Neither did there remain any more courage in any man because of you.

Now listen to this statement For the Lord your God, he is heaven.

He is God in heaven above and in earth beneath.

So literally she said because for the Jehovah Elohim, your God, jehovah Elohim, the covenant keeping supreme God, he is Elohim, supreme in heaven, above and earth beneath.

Glory to God.

I wish most of these Democrats knew that.

They don't know this.

We've lost that revelation.

We took it out of our schools, we took it out of our society.

And what do we count?

We're cow town to all the false gods that have come into this country for the last 60, 70 years under Ted Kennedy is the reason why we have all these weirdos from all these different nations that don't believe like we believe.

They bring in their honor killings, their Sharia law.

They bring in all of their, their crazy, ancient, uncivilized culture.

What's the difference between the West and all of that?

Well, the gospel is the is the difference, and we just gave it away for the last 60, 70 years.

One nation under what God?

Now, all these other God, all these Palestinians quote unquote rushing the White House, why don't they round them up and deport them?

They're not any of them legal citizens, not any of them.

They go crazy.

That's their culture.

Well, that's just their culture.

Yeah, well, I want it out of here.

I don't want it.

That's not American culture.

You don't see Christians going crazy.

Are y'all with me now?

Alright?

So, lodis, here I'm talking about momentum.

2024 is momentum.

So they said we have heard what you did.

We, as soon as we heard it, we heard that your God parted the Red Sea.

No doubt they heard about you know what happened to Pharaoh and his army too.

And we heard what you did to Zion, King of the Emirates, who, by the way, was a giant, then Og, the king of Bastion, who, by the way, was another giant how you utterly destroyed them.

When we heard, when did they hear?

40 years ago.

40 years ago is when they heard you talk about momentum.

I mean, those people had heard about this.

This has been 40 years ago, folks.

Why do you say that?

Well, because it's a matter of what the word says.

I mean, bible says the hand of the Lord came against the armors of Israel that didn't believe to go in.

You know, joshua and Caleb knew this by faith.

They said oh, let's go up at once.

They're bred for us.

Their defenses have departed from them.

They were speaking by faith in what God said.

God said I'm gonna give you the land, I'm gonna go before you, I'm gonna get rid of all the ights they believe.

See, joshua and Caleb believe God in his word, but the 10 spies did not.

And the rest of all these armies, all the army of war?

They went along with the 10 spies and they said oh, we be not able Just listen to the testimony.

We be not able.

There's giants in the land.

What did God do?

Well, the 10 spies died of a plague, right there, instantly in front of all of them, and then the hand of the Lord came against the rest of them.

They all died in the wilderness.

Not one of those that generation set foot in the inheritance, not one crossed the Jordan River and went in.

No, I'm gonna give it to your kids that you're so worried about.

Their kids are gonna take it.

And, by the way, when we go up over the next ridge, we're gonna take out two giants.

Now, god didn't intend.

He didn't pick a fight with the two giants.

The giants picked a fight with Israel.

And so God said okay, go ahead and destroy them.

Why?

Because you read the Bible, he said he hardened their heart to come out against it.

See, he wanted to get rid of them.

But he needed an excuse.

God does everything legally.

He doesn't pick fights with people, but he does answer when fights are picked with him.

Well, how did they pick a fight with God?

They picked a fight with Israel.

They don't mess with God's kids.

Better not be messing with the church, lena.

You might wind up in an insane asylum where it's all over with All right.

Praise the Lord.

That was mean, I guess I don't care.

What a fake.

All these people are fake.

They have no courage.

You know, really, if you could look down on the inside and do an x-ray of their hearts.

They're all terrified of the church.

They're terrified of Jesus, they're terrified of what they've got in front of them because they've already rejected it.

Are y'all with me now?

So, rahab, see a series of events the Red Sea, zion and Aug and many other things.

I mean, how about Balak?

You know Balaam, you know God.

They tried.

Balaam tried to hire Balaam to curse Israel and Balaam blessed Israel and Balak got so mad Balak wound up dying.

I mean, there's a whole series of events that happened for 40 years in the wilderness and they accumulated and I'm telling you by the time Israel crossed the Jordan and the Black Flood stage and marched around Jericho.

Jericho was already defeated.

Why?

Because there was momentum.

By a series of events.

Are y'all getting this now?

Israel developed momentum that caused the enemy to be terrified over a 40 year period.

So they prevailed, didn't they?

I said they prevailed.

Now, israel, as I've pointed out, was acting on authority from God.

First of all, he gave Moses the rod.

Moses said look, you're wanting me to deliver these people?

They're not gonna listen to me.

He said how do they you know?

He said go tell them.

I am sent.

You're not gonna believe me.

And he was right.

I mean that group of people.

You know what God said about Israel.

I'm not being anti-Semitic, I'm just reporting what the Bible says.

He said this is a stiff neck people.

Why don't you get out of my way?

I'm gonna destroy them and we'll start over.

He did that.

At one time.

God got so frustrated with Israel and all their whining and crying and failure to believe anything.

He said that he was ready to start over.

But Moses said no, well, go ahead and take me out too.

I don't even wanna go.

I don't wanna have to report what happened, that you failed.

You brought these people out and then you killed them.

I've gotta go explain that to all of you.

I'm not gonna be here.

You go ahead and kill me with them.

I mean, talk about somebody who knows how to pray intercessory prayer, woo.

You talk about somebody that knows they're in covenant with God and can talk to God straight and not mealy mouth around.

Now he wasn't disrespectful, he was just telling listen, he had earned the right to share his heart.

God knows what you're thinking anyway, why you wanna make up a bunch of religious mumbo jumbo to tell him.

Tell him what you really have in your heart.

And you know, god responded.

I said, god respond.

So anyway, he gave him a rod, the rod of God.

That's what he stretched out and touched the rivers of Egypt and they turned into blood.

He executed some of the curses of Egypt.

He stretched out his rod and the flies came and the lice came and all of that, frogs came and so forth with a rod.

And then, when he goes out with a red sea, you know God said stretch out your rod over the sea.

And God parted the red sea, but he used the rod.

The rod is typing a shadow of the name of Jesus.

You're not doing this under your authority.

You're acting on my authority.

And then when they came up against the Amalekites, he made it official.

He said build me an altar and I'm revealing myself as Jehovah and Nisi the Lord, your banner.

Everything you do is on my behalf, are y'all now?

Keep that in mind.

Now let's look at Deuteronomy, chapter four.

Turn back to the left.

If you're in Joshua, turn back to the left a few pages to Deuteronomy four.

Deuteronomy means the second giving of the law.

Deuteronomy was written by Moses.

He rehearsed the entire law for the second generation.

Deuteronomy is a nation.

Their parents died in the wilderness so they needed to be taught again because their parents weren't reliable teachers.

Their parents never did listen to God, never did really practice the word.

So he's going back over everything and warning them.

And in Deuteronomy, chapter four, verse 20, 37, he's talking to them, talking to the children of the group that's gonna die.

Most of them have died, but a few more have to go before they go into the Promised Land.

And because he loved thy fathers, loved thy father, god loved Israel.

They weren't very lovable, but God loved them.

Here it is right.

Here Love's not an emotion, loves a decision, love is a commitment.

It's not an emotion.

It's not a warm fuzzy feeling.

You know it's not blessing.

It's a decision.

He loved them.

He agape them.

If this was written in Greek, it'd be agape.

The love of God is love.

Because he loved thy fathers.

Therefore, he chose their seed after them.

That's, you See, he's talking to the seed.

He chose their seed after them and brought thee out in his sight, with his mighty power, out of Egypt To drive out nations from before thee, greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in.

See, he brought them out to bring them in.

He didn't bring them out to let them stay outside.

He brought them out of Egypt to bring them in to the Promised Land.

And how they're gonna get in there.

He said I'm gonna drive these nations that are bigger and greater and mightier than you are.

I'm gonna drive them out.

God said I will drive them out to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.

That's why the Palestinians, the Arabs and everybody else don't have any kind of right to the land.

God gave it to Israel.

Period.

You don't like it tough, you know, really, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

Nobody owns anything.

There's no Native Americans.

That's a bligh.

They're not native to this country.

They happen to be here when the pilgrims are here.

They might've been here first, but they weren't native to the country.

Everybody on the planet came from somewhere and really literally, they came from the plains of Shinar after God knocked down the Tower of Babel and scattered them, gave them different languages and scattered them.

That's where all of them, everybody, came from there.

So this lie about this country that we came and robbed the Indians from their land it wasn't the theirs.

Oh pastor, I can't believe you.

I'm saying it, I'm saying it right in the camera, I don't care who hears it.

It's a lie, just as same as all these other people over in the Middle East saying it's their land and let's get from the river to the sea, let's annihilate it.

See, it's just an anti-Christ spirit.

God gave this country to the pilgrims because they committed it for the furtherance of the gospel, and the people that lived here originally weren't worshiping the God of creation, they weren't worshiping Jesus, and so they were evangelized after a sorta A lot of them got saved not many of them, I mean.

They hold onto their own traditions, unfortunately.

But God's in charge.

We're not the ones.

What we do, we do under the flag of heaven, we're under his authority.

If God hadn't given us the authority to take this country from sea to shining sea, we couldn't have done it.

But he did, and it's the same right here.

He said know therefore, verse 39, know, therefore, this day, and consider it in thine heart that the Lord, he is God in heaven, above and upon heaven.

He is God in heaven, above and upon the earth beneath, and there is none else.

Where did you just see that statement?

Rahab said it.

Identical words, the identical words.

How did she know that?

Well, see, somehow I guess she got hooked up with God.

Instead of being afraid of Him, she said God, I'm gonna stay here.

I know your people are coming.

I'm gonna make the best deal I can.

And she made a deal with Him.

She said look, you owe me one.

I hid you, I lied for you.

You'd be dead if it weren't for me.

Now, now, now, now, I want some payback.

I want you to promise me, give me a true token that when you come in here and defeat this city, that you'll save me, my family and all my Ken folk alive, and all my stuff, all her stuff.

See, she cared about God, cared about her stuff and she lived in the Promised Land in peace all of her generations.

She's a stranger.

Quote unquote Israel had strict in the wall.

They have to treat strangers a certain way and they, you know over the years, I mean they're falsely accused of being terrorists.

They're not the terrorists.

The other side is the terrorists.

They do protect themselves.

Are y'all with me now?

All right, so let's look at Exodus 33, go all the way back to Exodus.

I want you to.

I'm making this point because we why is this written in the Bible?

It's written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the age have come, and my experience is that most Christians don't know anything about these things that I'm talking about.

They don't know anything about the authority of the believer.

They say things like well, god's in control, and they just use that as an excuse not to do anything about the evil that's going on.

They just say, oh well, we're separating, taking state, we, we see evil, we can't get in politics, it's evil.

You don't understand what God did in this covenant.

All right, so he says here in Exodus 33, verse two and this time this is God talking directly to Moses on the mount and he said and I will send an angel before thee and I will drive out.

Notice what he said I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Parasite, the Highbite, the Jebusites, the Budlights, the Celulites, the Lowlights, the Highlights, all the lights, all the Ikes.

He said I will drive.

He said I will.

He said I will drive.

He said I will drive them out.

Well, let me ask you something Did he come down out of heaven and drive all these people out?

No, he said you're operating under my flag.

Everything you do to these people is under my sanction and under my control.

So they had to do it, but God gave them the ability to do it.

Because those nations were all greater and mightier than they were.

So they had no weapons of war.

But you know what, somehow God would anoint them.

God, when the rod of God was stretched out, or when the flag of heaven.

And see, besides that, god came at angel.

He saw a sin, an angel before you.

And what was that?

Well, that was the shekinah presence of God.

Pillar fire by night, the cloud by day.

Everywhere they went, they knew God was with them.

Now we can't see him, but he's on the inside of every one of us.

We need to be more God inside minded.

I mean, we're never at a loss.

We should never cower in front of the devil and be hopeless and thinking, oh my God, I'm overmatched.

You ever get a letter from the IRS?

I did, I was broke, I had nothing.

And I get a letter saying I owed them money and I said, golly, I had no money.

I had no money and I had written on my my tax return can't pay you.

I owed them $600.

I'm a stupid amount of money.

I didn't have $600 to my name, I was unemployed.

I just wrote on the tax return can't pay you, to pay you when I can.

I didn't have money to hire a CPA or anybody, and a few months I got a letter.

Yeah, yeah, I see that you owe them, plus tax, plus penalties.

Blah, blah, blah.

Gave me the name the case worker.

I called him on the phone.

We talked Okay, mr Griner, got you.

I see that We'll get.

You'll be getting a letter.

We'll put you on payments.

I thought what kind of payment am I gonna have to have?

You know, $15 a month.

And I paid $15 a month for about a year.

And then they sent me another letter.

I said okay, mr Griner, you can stop now.

Well, 15 times 12 is $180.

And I owed them 600, plus penalties and interest, which was as much as the 600.

I think it was 12 or $1500.

I only paid them 10% of the money and then they said okay, you're settled up.

That's fine Glory to God.

They can't eat you.

I don't know who that's for All right.

So momentum is growing.

It's modally growing and prevailing over three things.

We have demons.

We have a demonized society right now.

Everywhere you look there's demonic powers that are flexing their muscles in every area of life.

If you wanna get terrified, just keep magnifying them and keep looking at them and keep meditating and what they've done, keep talking about it.

Whatever you magnify will be magnified.

But quit watching the news all day long.

Stop it now.

Stop it in the name of Jesus.

I'm telling you you're going the wrong direction.

You're gonna get in a ditch.

Let's get over here where God is, and let's magnify him.

Let's buy a series of events, and it starts with your mouth and your thought life.

The demons are coming against your mind Whenever you sit down and watch the news.

I'm telling you right now, demons are playing with your brain.

They are planting thoughts from outside that are gonna torment you.

Eventually You're gonna start worrying about what all is coming across the border, what kind of person is moving in next door to you and I got a terror cell on my street.

Have I this?

Have I that?

You know, those are valid things to consider, but we don't.

I don't think about all that all the time, we just pray.

We have prayer every Thursday night.

We covered some of this stuff on Thursday night prayer.

Talk about a vaccination.

That's a real vaccination.

That's a spiritual, that's an actual vaccine.

It's the stuff that they're calling vaccinate.

They're not really vaccinations, they're experimental gene therapy.

At best they don't even inoculate you for the disease.

They have this disclaimer you may not you take the pneumonia shot and may not keep you from having pneumonia, but it'll make it better.

Well, how do you know it's gonna make you?

Oh well, we just believe that, like the distancing you know, fauci was just on last week and said that the six foot distancing was a made up number.

How many billions of dollars did companies spend putting little footsteps in lines at the grocery store?

Where I noticed them is at the pharmacy.

You know, really, the very first sign that God gave the church.

He said you know, going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth in his baptized shall be saved.

He that believeth not shall be.

Damned Shall be.

You're not going to stop it.

They're going to be damned.

They're people that won't believe, no matter what you do.

It's always been that way.

People can look at miracles and just discount it.

You know, what I've found out is that people, when they make a decision, when their mind is made up, they'll do everything that justify their position and you're not going to change their mind.

I thought our job.

Our job is to give a witness.

It's their job to go yeah or nay, and God, god's spirit, can touch them and show them the truth, and they can either accept it or reject it.

When they reject it, we keep moving and these signs shall follow them that believe in my name.

They shall, first, on the list, cast out demons.

That's really not even talking about exorcism.

It's just talking about clearing the pathway of demonic powers.

That's what it really means In your, in your, in your desire to obey what God told you to do, to go into all the world and preach the gospel.

Every believer has that same see.

That's a believer's ministry.

It's not just an evangelist ministry.

It's not just a preacher.

You go into your world and sit on the witness chair and tell people what Jesus has done for you and if they're willing, you can pray with them to receive Jesus.

That's what we ought to be doing, amen.

And in that, when you're doing that, you've got ability to clear demonic powers out of the way.

You can bind the devil over the person you're fixing to talk to.

I do it under my breath.

When I'm talking to somebody.

I'm buying the devil over this person.

Jesus name, you're not going to interfere, I'm going to get under my breath without them knowing anything.

It's the first sign that Jesus mentioned that he gave authority over demon powers.

He gave Moses his rod.

He gave us his name.

We have his name.

At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and so we have been given this powerful momentum.

It's, it's mightily growing and mightily prevailing.

And what is it again, is a force by a series of events.

It's a force that impacts another.

When you're dealing with with these things, just try to make it into an entity Instead of.

You know when, when Jesus spoke to the fever in Peter's mother-in-law, he said he rebuked the fever and it left.

It's like it packed its bags and took the train out of town.

It left the fee.

He didn't say the fever went down to you know, the body temperature went to normal.

It said the fever left.

See, so he, he, he tended to bring everything in as an entity.

So you know, these entities, these demon powers, they all have a plan.

They have a way of confronting you and confounding you and trying to work around you to stop you from doing what you're doing, but we've got power over them.

I like what the great philosopher Mike Tyson said.

You know the, the boxer that you're facing, the guy that you're facing, he's got a strategy, he's got a plan to what do you do about that?

Do you?

Do you think about the plan?

He's got to counteract.

You know your, your right cross.

I mean, he's the right overhand, right, he's way down here and you throw a.

Throw a punch like that and knock you out.

I mean, just over and over.

I'll watch over and over.

He just knocked all these people out until he got to Evander Holyfield Felt the need to bite his ear off, but anyway, he said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

That's what we ought to do.

Punch the devil in the mouth.

Just punch him in the mouth because we have the name of Jesus.

Listen, we've just we've got too much to do for any of us to be sick.

Besides, that sickness has been taken.

Jesus took it.

We shouldn't carry it.

They're, they're plotting the next shutdown right now.

They've got this RSV and they've got the COVID, the new COVID variant, and they've got something else and they've got it all.

Man, they've got listen, they've got plans.

They brought in all of these LGBTQ trans activists and so now they are pontificating about your health.

I'm not going to let sickness take me out.

I'm soon six years ago with my open heart surgery and I tell you I feel better than I've felt in years.

I mean, I just seized the momentum of God saving my life.

I mean, I could have, probably should have died.

It could have died, but I didn't, I stayed and I'm not going to go back that way.

I'm going to go out healthy.

I don't think you have to get sick to die.

I think whenever time to go well, we can just go healthy.

But I really want to hang around till Jesus comes.

I really don't want to go that way.

Let's challenge the devil, let's challenge infirmity.

I mean, you know, let's use the rod of God or the name of Jesus and possess what belongs to us.

You know healing.

You don't have to get it.

You already got it.

You don't have to seek it.

You were healed, you were, so it's not something you have to get.

And so, and then finally, lack.

We have.

Momentum is mildly growing and prevailing over lack, and I'm telling you right now I've lived through times like this in the seventies with Jimmy Cotta.

I remember I wasn't saved at those years, but I was a businessman and I remember suffering greatly because of his policies.

All these Democrats are the same.

They believe in high taxes, no freedom.

You know they want to take all your money from you.

They want to spend it on crazy stuff.

You know the green new deal what a bunch of baloney.

It's just billions and billions of dollars they waste and, of course, they've got their hand in the tail.

You know they want to help Ukraine, but they want to get their cut.

You know.

So lack when you, you know the news media supports the lie, you know he stands up and says oh well, things are better than they've been.

Well, no, they're actually worse.

The inflation is closer to 17.4%, not 5% or 3%.

Social security I got a 3% raise.

Well, you're 15,.

You're about 14% behind the cost of living.

Why did they give you such a, because they would go broke if they did.

If they actually indexed it to the true level of inflation, they wouldn't be able to do it.

They'd run out of money because they got all this money going to terrorist organizations.

They've got all this money going into the green new.

All this, you know a lot of it.

The batteries you know that never got built.

They put billions of dollars into electric car batteries.

It never were built.

And I mean on and on, and on and on and on.

So what am I saying this far?

I'm saying listen, we got to disconnect yourself from this world.

We've got a supply.

Heaven has an economy that's superior.

It's superior to anything this world can do.

You know, before they went into the Promised Land, god Moses was teaching the children of Israel there in Deuteronomy 818.

And he was warning them not to forget their God.

He said you shall not.

You shall remember the Lord, the God.

So he remembers a covenant term.

Remember who you're in covenant with.

He's Jehovah Jireh.

He's the Lord, your provider.

Remember him.

He said.

You know, it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant, which he swear unto thy fathers.

As it is this day.

The purpose of wealth is the gospel.

The purpose of wealth is the kingdom business.

Now, he always blesses you to where you have plenty yourself.

That's just built into his system.

He doesn't want all of it, he just wants his portion.

And when he comes to you and says I need a bigger portion for this purpose, then you're glad.

Yeah, lord, how much do you think I can give?

Yeah, I'm gonna let you.

You know my finances better than I do and I've had him challenge me.

I remember one time sitting in a Rodney Howard Brown meeting, I think we were in Alabama and he was rolling out his vision to reach New York City with the gospel and he wound up going to Madison Square Garden and preached for like 30 days or something during the summer before 9-11.

The timing of that was amazing.

He got criticized from every quarter about it.

It almost broke his ministry.

I mean he really had a tough time because nobody really grabbed ahold with him.

But this church did and I'm sitting there in that meeting and he's, I mean I'm just weeping and I said God, I know I've got us, we've got us, so accede.

He said I want 50,000.

50,000.

Thank God, we had it, I said, thank God, we had it, 1998, we wrote a check 50,000.

But that year, by the time he came to our church later that year I mean during that year we gave probably closer to $90,000 out of this church to that meeting.

And when those people were diving out of the windows of the World Trade Center and they were hitting on the concrete below I don't know if you watched it, but I made myself watch it it was the most horrific thing I've ever seen.

I thought you know, those people are saved because of our giving.

I know I know a lot of those people are calling on the name of the Lord.

They didn't want to burn alive.

They didn't commit suicide, they just didn't want to burn alive and they had two choices either jump or burn.

And so they jumped.

I mean, are you gonna judge them and say, oh, they went to hell, they committed suicide?

No, it's horrible what they had to, that decision they had to make.

It was just horrible.

But I thought, you know, thank God, we were there, we preached the gospel to that lousy, rotten, corrupt place and we got to harvest that.

Come on, lift your hands right now.

We're gonna listen.

I'm telling you we've got a ground to stand on.

We have used the money for its purpose and so we have a supply.

Everybody say I have a supply.

I have a divine, supernatural supply.

See, you've got to tell yourself that all the time and don't wait till the need just blows up in your face within two days all of a sudden.

No, you've got to look down the road, start taking care of your finances a little more carefully.

Right now is the time to start thinking about how much of your taxes gonna be in April, cause it comes real fast.

So you ought to be doing some calculating and figuring out whether you're gonna owe some taxes or not, and then begin to believe and call the angel.

The angels go out and call that money to come in cause.

I've been a tither and a giver and a sower of seed.

I've got a harvest coming and I'm not gonna be caught where I can't pay my taxes, cause that's one thing we do have to do we have to pay our taxes.

I don't like it, I think they waste it, but that's beside the point.

The Bible will you know, when you do the word, god will bless you.

What's the alternative for everybody?

Just to turn their backs on everything and just let everything fall, let the Chinese walk across the border and take us over.

No, no, we're gonna stand our ground.

We're gonna stand strong and we know that we have a supernatural supply that's been given to us.

We're mightily prevailing over demons, disease and lack.

We have momentum that cannot be stopped.

Come on, lift your hand and receive the day.
