2024 - The Year Of Momentum 4

Let's say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today.

I celebrate Jesus.

He's my Savior, he's my Lord, my healer, my deliverer, he's my everything.

I celebrate Him.

I've got a smile on my face, I've got joy in my heart because I know who I serve, who I belong to.

He's got everything in hand for my life.

I'm here to receive of the covenant today and I believe I'll never be the same in Jesus' name.

All right, let's be seated and turn to Acts 19,.

Our cornerstone scriptures or series of messages.

This will be the last one of this series.

2024, the year of Momentum, the fourth one, and so let's look at.

I'm not gonna read all of the verses.

I think you should get them and look at them, maybe later today.

But we'll start with verse eight, act 19,.

Eight, and this is after Paul rather encountered certain disciples and Ephesus who weren't saved.

They were disciples of John the Baptist.

They hadn't heard about Jesus.

So he got them saved, he got them filled with the Holy Ghost and then it says in verse eight he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

So he took that 12 with him into the synagogue and Ephesus, asia Minor.

But when diverse were hardened and believed not but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them and separated the disciples disputing daily in the school of one, tarenas.

And this continued by the space of two years Everybody shout.

Two years so that all they which dwelt in Asia Minor heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both the Jews and the Gentiles.

And God brought special miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body were brought under the sick handkerchiefs or aprons and the diseases departed from them and the evil spirits went out of them.

And then we'll skip down to verse 20.

I skipped all the rest of these just in the, because we've got a lot to cover this last message of verse 20.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed, and so I've been talking to you about this church headed into its 30th year.

It's the 29th, which will be a week from tomorrow is our 29th anniversary, but it marks the beginning of the 30th year, and 30 in the Bible is a number of dedication to the call.

Jesus was 30 when he began to his ministry, john the Baptist was 30, this priest were 30, david was 30 when he became king.

So it's a number that's significant in the Bible, it's significant in this church's history, and the message was inspired by just going to Galveston a few weeks, a couple of weeks ago, right before New Year's, and a prevailing North wind was flattened to surf and cause the Gulf of Mexico to just be like a mirror.

And so just a little 10 to 15 mile an hour, prevailing Northwest wind did that, and so I thought of this verse, acts 19, 20,.

How mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

And so God just put in my heart this is the year of momentum.

Over 30 years, this church has gained momentum, and the momentum is the force with which one body strikes another.

I'm telling you, this body of believers is striking and impacting the spirit of this age.

That body, that devil, don't underestimate it.

I think after today, I think you'll get a fresh look at what God is warning us to see.

You know, this is an apostolic vine.

This church is an apostolic vine with a prophetic river or prophetic flow.

I mean prophets, you know, point the way and apostles do, and so that's combined in this church.

And these prophetic emphases on the different years began specifically really in earnest in 2001 when God told me 2001,.

Way back there, this is the premier year.

First in a series of years, we're gonna encounter things we've never seen before.

I was thinking in the positive, you know.

And then I saw 2001.

Comment 2002.

Comment dot dot dot.

How many of you were here when I was preaching?

We were in the seventh day Adventist church.

You know we call it the church of the cave.

It's like being in a cave.

Nobody knew we were there.

How did y'all find us?

I mean, I don't even know, they don't live very far from there, but they stumbled across us.

I'm so glad y'all did the Peterson's rich in patrice, rich is named properly rich, rich is rich, rich in patrice.

And others of you found us.

Thank God you found us.

But anyway, so that was 9-11.

I mean, yeah, it's kind of significant.

We get more into that in just a little bit.

But this force and we looked up the word prevail.

It means to overcome, to gain the victory, to advance, to have superiority, to have effect, power or influence by a series of events.

See, there's that idea of not just one thing but a series of events.

I looked back on the Texans yesterday.

They just kind of blew it.

They had a series of events that got them into playoffs and they won the first playoff game, which was notable.

They had a great season, but yesterday they kind of just fell apart and they elected to receive.

They won the toss and they were elected to receive.

Usually they defer, and the reason you defer is because you're saying I'm gonna score late in the first half and come right back and get the ball in the third quarter and score again and I'm gonna go up two scores.

Well, you know what they said we wanna score right now.

We want the ball.

And they went three out, three out.

See, they lost the momentum right at the beginning of the game.

See, I'm looking at momentum, everything I'm looking at.

I'm looking at momentum because that's what God spoke to me about this year.

You have momentum in your life on your favor.

If you'll just tap into what I'm saying, it might not look like it.

See, it doesn't look like it.

You can't go about what it looks like.

You gotta go.

What did God say about this?

All right.

So a series of events reminds me of a systematic discourse, in other words, not what you say once, it's what you continually say over and over, with faith in your heart.

That's gonna change things.

And so here, paul established momentum over a series of events of two years and three months.

I mean, he didn't just arrive there and get those 12 disciples saved and everything just blew the lid off the chair, like that's.

I love that song, by the way.

We're gonna tear the roof off this church.

We're gonna have church, tear the roof off.

And when I was singing that song I was thinking about you know, they were trying to have church there with that, in that house, with Jesus.

The power of the Lord was present to heal all of them, and none of them were healed.

They weren't having very much church and Jesus was there preaching.

They didn't have church until somebody tore the roof off and came in from the outside.

Then they had church.

Glory to God.

We're tearing some roof off of some of these dead mausoleums, I'm telling you right now, passing for churches.

So anyway, so he established a series of events.

He had momentum and took over the word of God.

Mightily didn't just grow, it mightily group.

They had multitudes of people and it wasn't that everybody got saved.

It meant that everybody heard See, god is a master at getting everybody to a point of decision.

He's not a puppeteer, he's not making people, but he will move heaven and earth.

He moved, listen, paul's whole ministry was where he could get in front of Caesar.

Don't tell me the church shouldn't be in politics.

Are you stupid?

Do you read your Bible?

God basically gave Paul Just so Caesar, one man, could have a witness, and he didn't get saved.

There's no record of him or any of the other people that Paul mentioned.

You know Agrippa and all the rest, festus, paul, almost out, persuadus me to be see.

Almost he didn't get there.

So God is a master at using us to put people to a place of decision.

It's not our job to get him saved, it's God's job.

And if they and Jesus put it very simply, going to all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, not just some of creatures.

Not leave off the political class, leave them.

I leave the leaders out, don't mess with them.

They're evil, don't touch them.

Eww, eww, eww.

Just preach to the good people that will get saved.

No, preach to everybody, and he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not shall be damned.

It's just that simple.

God wants everybody to hear, and there's momentum in this year.

I'm telling you.

Right now it looks like people are not listening, but they are All right.

So then we talked about Moses, you know, holding up his rod.

And as long as his rod was held up, the Amalekites, you know, were defeated.

Israel prevailed and when he got weak, you know, the Amalekites prevailed.

Amalek was the grandson of Esau.

These people are still around today.

They hate Israel just like now, like they did then.

And so when the ministry came in and supported and did their part to support the man of God, moses put a rock under him where he could sit down and not wear himself out, and Aaron and her got under each arm and his rod stayed extended out there over the battle.

Then they brought a great victory and they discomfited Amalek, laid them prostrate on the ground and God said you've brought a great victory.

I want you to build an altar to Jehovah, nessie the Lord, our banner.

You did this under my authority, with my will.

We're to prevail.

That's God's will for us to prevail, to gain the victory by a series of events, say we can't just quit after one and say, okay, I'm going home, it's dark, 30.

It's time to go.

No, we just keep going till we win.

Don't quit.

So the Jehovah Nessie, he's the Lord, our banner, we're under the flag of heaven, amen, all right.

So Israel did all they did under the name of Jehovah, under his flag.

And then Joshua, chapter two, where Joshua sent the two spies to Jericho to spy it out.

And they went to Rahab, the Harleys house, and Rahab talked to him and says you know, when we heard what your God did, how he dried up the Red Sea for you and how you killed Zion, king of the Amorites, who was a giant she didn't say that, I'm saying it because it's a matter of history and Og, the king of Baytian, who was a giant.

And when we heard these things, our hearts had melt.

Neither was there strength or courage in any man 40 years ago.

40 years ago, oh, you got to get this now.

I mean all that time they spent in the wilderness of their men of war, dying because they disobeyed God and wouldn't have the courage to go in and defeat an enemy that was already afraid.

They were shaking in their boots or their sandals, or whatever they wore back then Probably didn't have boots, they had sandals.

Everybody wore sandals, birkenstocks, I guess.

So we have momentum to overcome Amen, demons, sickness, disease, lack.

We've got momentum.

Everything we do, we do under the flag of heaven, we do under the name of Jesus.

He's given us authority.

All right, today I want to get into the wrap up here and I want us to turn over to Micah.

I know y'all know exactly where that is.

It's on page 1105, though, in case you don't, micah, chapter five, verse two, and he's known as a minor prophet, but I'm not going to tell him that when I meet him, I'm going to just treat him like he's a major prophet.

They all had a contribution to the Word of God.

Micah five two, and he says but thou, bethlehem, ephrata, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee, that is, out of Bethlehem, out of thee, shall he come forth unto me.

That is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

And of course he's prophesied about Jesus, and how.

When he was born in Bethlehem.

Yeah, he's a baby, but his goings forth have been of old, from antiquity.

He didn't just begin in the manger.

I mean he's been around.

Jesus Christ has been around and the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word was made flesh and dropped among us Say we know that, but a lot of people don't know that he's been around forever and ever.

Eternity passed and he's going to always be, and so his goings forth have been of old.

And then Hebrews 13, 8,.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.

Yesterday doesn't mean Saturday, it means eternity passed.

Jesus Christ now.

He was slain from before the foundation of the world.

I mean he's been around, along to in the mind of God.

I mean he's there.

I mean what he was going to do was already establish way back there.

So early on my birthday and, by the way, let me thank everybody for congratulating me on my birthday Jay posted a family photo or staff photo.

I should say it's family, staff is family, and on my birthday and people congratulated me, thank you for all of you that took the time to do that and some cards and other ways that you've done that appreciate it.

So the night before my birthday, which was Tuesday night, I got to bed kind of late 11, 30, and 12, 30 minutes into my birthday, I wake up.

It's been a bit of an hour and I was in a dream.

I had a dream and I don't remember anything about the dream, but I just remember the beginning to wake up at the end of this dream.

And I had this dream and I had this word in my I heard, I heard in my spirit Everything old, everything old is new again.

Everything old is new again.

Isn't that nice.

He said that on my birthday.

Of course, I knew he wasn't talking about me personally, but I mean everything old is new again.

Well, you know, I got up.

I thought what is he saying?

What does that mean?

Because I've been praying about this message.

I mean, after I gave the third message, I had no idea what the fourth message was gonna be.

I didn't know how I was gonna wrap it up.

I didn't know what I was gonna say about it.

I didn't know just how it was gonna come out.

I had a clear before that the first three, I had clear indication, but not on the fourth one.

So I'd been praying on Monday and Tuesday, some meditating on what I'd already preached Everything old is new again.

And so I got up, went into my study, turned on the light and the next part I saw before.

I heard, I saw, and I'll tell you in a minute what I saw.

For now I'll just tell you what I heard Everything receding is advancing again.

Everything receding is advancing again Again.

Oh, come on, lift your hand right there.

We can go home right now and be blessed, but I wanna give you everything that's associated with these words that are not necessarily a scripture.

I'm looking for the word and I heard his word about it, but it wasn't a Bible verse and so I have to go back to his word.

I'm here to preach the word, not my dreams and not my prophetic receiving prophetically from Him.

So everything old is new again.

Everything receding is advancing again and finally, the kingdom of God is mightily growing and prevailing.

I just heard somebody the other day I won't say where, but I mean you know they're a person of authority and they just talking about how the church is shrinking and how the everything is going down and everything's bad.

Well, you know he's not looking at it the right perspective.

He means well, he's looking everything in the natural, the way it looks like right now.

Yeah, you can say that, but hey, god's given us a different perspective.

Right now, the beginning of 2024, this is year momentum.

This is our opportunity to turn things around.

So I give you, you know, I had to do some praying.

I just began to meditate on that first one, micah.

I mean, when I heard everything old is new again it came to me Micah 5-2.

His goings forth is ever-of-old, is what I remembered it, not ever-of-old, but it's his goings forth is of old, even everlasting.

I'd look it up, but that was what it was in my heart.

So I started meditating and I started meditating on the ancient of days.

Boy, that guy, he's the ancient of.

I started singing that old song we used to sing.

We used to sing ancient of days in the in the seventh day at Bennett's church.

Didn't we?

Carol, carol going, yeah, yeah.

And we had that track, you know, had all those sentences, because I didn't know that Carol could even play the keyboard, so we didn't.

We had tracks that we sang to.

Thank God, she finally stepped up to the plate, didn't she?

A blessing, all our worship teams a blessing.

And they are not, you know, they are not novices, they are first-class.

J taught himself to play there.

I mean, he had lessons when he's little kid.

But I mean, he taught himself play the bass first and then the guitar, I just so.

And of course Ethan God, just one of the greatest drummers I've ever heard.

God just blessed us and we used to have to have tracks.

I remember I I sold money into praise teams.

I wrote a check to Becky and Joe Cruz six thousand.

I wrote them a six thousand dollar check one time.

I said this is for our future worship team, tired of these tracks.

Now you really it's hard to deal with tracks.

You know you got to get in the right key and you gotta.

You know you got to memorize the song.

I mean, you know, if you ever don't have, if you forget the song and then the track is played and then you're on the wrong, you know it's hard to do anyway.

So I began to sing that song.

Ancient of days.

I just had a worship team.

The middle of the night worship, a worship time in middle of the night, and God began to roll these things out to me.

So my takeaways?

Let's start with the first one.

Everything old is new.

Again Jesus is being revealed to this generation and it's all new to them.

They've never heard the real Jesus.

They think they know who Jesus is.

They think he's a curse word.

That's how they know Jesus is through the cursing, using his name in vain.

Hollywood uses his name in vain.

They don't believe him.

I mean, how can you be an atheist and use Jesus name in vain?

I mean, you really are stupid.

And I just got, I took back.

I just went back in my life when I got saved.

I was 33 when I got saved.

But I remember how exciting life was when I got saved, how horrible it was.

Right before I got saved I was depressed.

I was drinking like a fish.

I was unhappy, I was fearful.

I couldn't sleep at night.

I'd stay up till I was totally exhausted, two or two thirty in the morning.

Then it fall into bed and sleep till about six, get up, hit minimax about nine and get a six pack of beer.

I'd have to have a six pack for lunch, a couple more six packs after lunch.

Why, what was I?

I was drowning.

The fear and the, the dread.

My business was in trouble.

It was just.

It was just tough sledding and I had a fear of going broke.

I had a fear of just losing everything I had and the pressure of all of it.

And then I got saved and God took every bit of that away and I had peace.

It flowed like a river and I had joy.

Every day was an adventure when I discovered that I had authority, when I discovered the word of faith, which I mean that's.

I went to Lakewood my first, but right after I got saved.

I got saved on a Friday night.

I went to a full gospel business and business and fellowship international meeting on Saturday night and on Sunday morning I went to Lakewood and I heard things I just didn't even know existed.

I was used to homilice, or you Catholics can relate to homilies.

What a bunch of nothings.

These guys gone to cemetery at seminary for 12 years.

They don't squat about God or women.

It's laughable.

Anybody would that's a Catholic would go to a priest for marriage, can't.

Well, what in the world of they?

Or even a raising kid.

What do they know?

Nothing, zero.

Sorry to be so harsh, but come on, wake up, get out of that mess, get it.

You've got a Marxist as a pope now.

These nuts things that he's saying, blessing same-sex marriages anyway.

So I just remember it was an adventure every day.

I listened to four on the radio kj oj AM radio and con room.

I think it's a you and they'd have first on the list with Charles caps, england, arkansas, and then second on the list was RW Shambach.

I thought he was black most people who listen to him think he's black, but he's Lily white and then there was Kenneth E Hagan and the last one was Derek Prince.

Thank you, derek Prince, with that Cambridge English, you know I have all that twang.

Well, you start with England, arkansas, you got an Arkansas twang with Charles caps and you've got, you know, a different kind of, you know, with RW Shambach.

And then you got brother Hagan, which you know he's kind of twangy to.

But you know, you got Derek Prince with that that accent, that Cambridge, british type accent.

So they were preaching the word of faith.

I mean I, I was so excited.

I read everything I could read, brother hate, brother Hope Steen's books.

I'd go to Lakewood, come home with those of these many books and every kind of book I could find.

I read all the books I was reading Kenneth Hagan books.

I was so excited to learn something every day that I never knew existed.

Well, how new was it?

He wasn't new, it was old, it had been, it had been traveling for.

It had been traveling for from eternity past, but it was new to me, everything, old as new again, and we're bringing this into a generation that are just like I was back then, 40 plus years ago.

Are y'all with me now?

Well, you know what.

It's necessary for us to not be sticks in the mud.

You, you might been saved a long time.

And all this is old hat.

Well, it needs to become new hat to you.

It needs to be exciting.

You need to get a different look on your face.

You need to have a different count and you need to have a different way of walking, talking.

I'm telling you hey, it's, it's time to shine.

Are you gonna be like Bubba and junior?

Are you gonna be like junior was who is?

Or you talking about?

Well, the prodigal son?

I call him.

You know Bubba.

Bubba knew what belongs to me as daddy.

Hey, daddy, give me my inheritance now.

I don't want to wait till you're dead.

Give it to me now.

Give, give me.

I don't want junior.

He gets the double portion.

I just want much more belongs to me.

Give me the portion of goods belongs to me.

And I mean, daddy made him rich, wrote a big old check.

It's okay, son, here it is more.

And he went away joyful, I mean boy, you know, for a while, I mean he, he indulged his flesh with that money until it was all gone, and then he got so hungry, then he got pretty sad and he came back.

Father, I've sinned before you, heaven, I'm not worthy to be called your son.

Bring the fat, bring the best road, bring the signet ring, get some new shoes on this boys feet.

Kill the fatted cap.

Let's have a party, music and dancing.

That's a glory.

But Bubba wouldn't have, I mean, Junior wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Junior hadn't backslid, junior was steady, junior never left the ponderosa.

He's still there.

But the problem with him is that he didn't know what he had.

He's still out there working with the hired hands.

He's still, you know, branding the cattle and slopping the hogs.

And he should have been inside doing his father's business.

He should have been paying the bills, he should have been making payroll, he should have had his hand on the pulse of this vast operation.

He should have been, you know, the second in command, only to his father, but instead he just twiddling around, you know, and now he's resentful of his younger brother and he's got a breakthrough.

And the father tried.

He said come on, this is your brother.

He was dead.

Now he's alive.

Come on, it's white.

Hey, let's celebrate.

Well, you never even killed, for me, a skinny guy, all I have is yours.

See, is that how we're acting?

That we don't have anything, that we don't know anything, that we don't have anything to get.

No, we have it all.

The father has it.

It belongs to us.

Time to get happy.

People are not going to be drawn to this old, poor hang dog.

Oh, this inflation is killing me.

I tell you, I'm getting older by the day.

I don't know how much longer I'm going to last in all of this.

The demon crats, these old demon crats, are terrible.

Did you see what Fox News said the other day?

They spend more time talking about all the news than they do the good news.

This is the good news.

Right, let's stay full of the new wine.

I mean let's go.

Peter said these are not drunk as you suppose.

We ought to get drunk on the holy go.

We ought to stay drunk.

Some of you will get this.

Some of you are just even a fence.

I can feel it when I say drunk in the holy go.

Some of you still get kind of hey, I wish you wouldn't say that.

Well, peter said it.

I mean God, I'll leave.

All right, everything receding is advancing again.

Now this is what I saw before.

I heard, and most of you know my tsunami dream.

But I'm going to quickly, we're going to go a little later today, because this message is probably one of the most important ones I've ever preached and this year is the most important year we've ever lived in.

Live through it right here, right here.

I'm just saying it right off hand.

This year is the most important year we've lived Through.

We haven't lived through it yet, but God wants us to see it, god wants us to know where we're headed.

Everything receding is advancing again and in June, the first of 2001, again the year, the premier year I'm still expecting great things, wonderful things that we've never seen before.

I'm thinking in the positive.

I'm not thinking about 9-11.

I know it's bad.

I know that there's terrorism.

I know there's.

You know there's bombing going on in Israel, blowing up the buses and remember all the bus bombs and everything people would, suicide bombers just blowing themselves up killing Jews.

But I mean, you know I'm not looking at that.

So, 100 days before 9-11, I have this tsunami, what I call the tsunami dream.

I'm driving in this dream in a convertible down White Sandy Beach dunes, on my right, caribbean, blue water or Caribbean, which you prefer.

I go Caribbean.

Some people say Caribbean whatever, tomato, tomato, whatever, whichever way you want to go, potato, potato and just gorgeous.

It's just not a care in the world.

Sunshine and blue sky.

It's not Galveston, because there was no humidity and the water was blue and the sand was white, not brown.

I don't know where it was, but it was really nice.

And I was just really having myself, just myself, in the convertible driving and suddenly I saw something, my peripheral vision and some tsunami headed toward me.

My carefree turned into terror instantly.

Man in the dream, I've got to get off this beach.

Where's there a road I got to get.

I got to see if I can turn right.

And I can't turn right.

There's dunes and I'm not in a hummer, I'm in a, you know, a convertible.

I've got to have a way off the beach or I'm not going to make it.

This thing is headed to me and I put the pedal to the metal.

It's getting closer.

Finally, I see this road way in the distance, probably from here to the other end of the lobby.

I'm seeing it, I'm thinking I might make it, but I'm going like this and finally, before I get to the road, the sun is blocked out by the curl of the wave that's about 40, 50 foot tall over my head.

And I'm thinking in the dream this is it, I'm roadkill and I'm just you know.

And then the next instant I'm on top of the wave, riding it, and I went from terror to exhilaration and an instant of time in the dream and I felt the wind in my face from the thrust of the wave.

I'm seeing little beach houses and stuff, different things, down below just getting crushed by the weight of the water, but I'm riding above all of it being thrust forward.

And I wake up and I feel like I've been in a Maytag spin cycle.

I mean I didn't know which end was up.

I mean you're terrified one second and exhilarated the next second.

You're just sweating and I'm thinking, god, what was that?

You know, and the first thing I thought of when I got my wits about me was John G Lake saying that the same wave that brings the glory brings destruction.

So that was 100 days before the 9-11.

Well, you know, I talked about that tsunami and I talked about the glory.

There's a glory wave coming and so forth and so on.

But when 9-11 hit.

9-11 hit, those twin towers fell and we had the first prayer meeting that I know about in Houston, because Gladys and I were at Channel 14 that day, that very morning, to do the Praise the Lord program, the local one, and we turned it into a prayer meeting where we repented on behalf of America for its idolatry, turning on Israel, not treating Israel correctly, and so forth.

And we just elected a brand new president.

But coming out of the Clinton years, clinton was not a particular friend.

Neither was Bush 41.

Bush 43 seemed like he would be better, but he really wasn't.

So a couple of weeks later I went to Galveston and, sitting on the seawall, and God began to speak to me about that tsunami it's because I was upset that he hadn't spoken to me about this he said you know, basically, he said I gave you the tsunami dream.

That's what it meant.

We're going to see damage, we're going to see destruction, but it's necessary in order to have a harvest, and we're going to have to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Judgment is separation.

I said judgment is separation.

You don't have a big old stand of wheat and go out there and chop all the wheat plants up and bring the whole thing to the barn.

What do you do?

You thresh the wheat and get the wheat out of the stalk and then you got to get the chaff out of the wheat.

It's a process Corn, anything like that.

You got a process to get what's valuable separated from that which is not valuable and at one point it was all one plant.

You know you can't do it ahead of time.

If you did it ahead of time, you wouldn't have a crop.

When does it happen?

It happens when the fruit is ripe.

So getting back to the tsunami dream then in the other night, when I was reminded of the tsunami dream, but I came back around and saw the tsunami from over its shoulder, like being beyond it, offshore, and I'm watching it hit the coastline.

In the dream I was here and the wave was coming over me and then I roved the wave.

But here I'm watching it approach the coastline.

Are y'all with me now?

And I saw all the water sucked off of the coastline and you saw the bottom of the offshore, because that water has got to be gathered.

The closer the tsunami gets to the shore, it gathers the water ahead of it because it's got to draw water from every direction in order to see.

Water is incompressible.

It doesn't you know.

You crash an airplane into the ocean, man, it's like hitting the land.

It doesn't give.

The airplane is destroyed, so it's the same.

It's got to be conserved.

That water's got to feed the wave.

And so, watching the 2004 tsunami that hit Indonesia, that killed a quarter of a million people, remember that what happened when, offshore, three thousand miles away, the two tonic plates, you had an earthquake down under the floor of the ocean 30,000 feet deep, and so you have a displacement the plates slid over on top of each other.

They didn't know exactly what happened.

They had to study it for a long time and re, and they didn't have a warning system back then.

And so when that is a 40 mile stretch where the earth plates displaced like that, well, when the sea, if it rises, if the earth plate rises, say this 12 inches, 12 inches times 40 miles, that amount of water has to go somewhere.

Where does it go?

It starts radiating from every direction.

On one side of it it's a trough, on the other side it's a wave.

So on the Indonesian side it was a wave coming and it's traveling like the speed of sound underneath the surface.

But the surface, where the wave is the top, is much slower.

It's the energies goes ahead of it.

So when that wave gets closer to the shore, it's no longer 30,000, it's 20,000, it's 10,000, it's 5,600, it's 300 feet.

When it's getting about 5,300 feet, man then coming a wave now you wouldn't even know it out there in the ocean, you wouldn't see the tsunami.

There's no big wave out there.

Where it happened.

The wave is at the shore.

But before the wave gets there, there's a receding there.

The water is sucked off of the coastline to feed the wave.

I saw that and then God spoke.

Everything receding is advancing again.

We've seen a huge loss of morality, of wealth, of faith in God.

I mean, you know, this country is not anywhere near what it was 25, 30 years ago.

We've had a receding situation.

It's not just a little while, it's been going on for a long time.

That's what we see and if we're going to talk about that all the time.

Oh, it's terrible, always terrible.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

You know God's perspective is hey, it's receded and now that's which we're receding is advancing again.

Come on, lift your hand right now.

Oh, I'm telling you, there's a move of God, a foot.

It's a move of God coming.

God told me two weeks after that, when I was sitting at the Galveston after the after 9-11, and I was griping that I didn't know ahead of time how could something this serious?

And he began, he just had the wrong perspective.

You thought it was all positive.

I told you what was going to happen.

It's negative but it's positive underneath it.

It's what has to happen for the harvest to come in.

It has to happen, judgment has to happen.

Judgment is separation separates the chaff from the week.

And so he told me.

He said I'm sitting there on the seawall and the legs dangling.

You know, it's 15 foot above sea level.

That's seawall, 15 foot above sea level.

I'm sitting on it looking out there.

Waves are coming in, pretty good waves.

That day September, middle of September, about it happened the 11th, I think it was around the 25th or something like that that I got to Galveston as soon as I could to pray about all of this.

And he borrowed a term that we were hearing back then the mother of all waves is coming.

Remember, the mother of all battles is coming.

Remember that Saddam Hussein said you come after us, you're going to see the mother of all battles.

And he was a pipsqueak.

He didn't have any bad, there wasn't any battles.

When we hit, when we hit a rock, they just melted.

Talk about melting.

The battle was, you know, when you had to go house to house.

That was the tough one and we lost a lot of our guys.

That house to house urban warfare was horrible, horrible.

That's what Israel is doing right now.

So he said the mother of all waves is coming.

He said many will be swept into the kingdom of God and many who don't believe will be swept into oblivion.

Many will deny the Lord that bought them and will be as a seed on the earth during the tribulation.

See, they knew, but they just didn't want to pay the price.

They knew they've been in church, they've heard about all this, but they just wouldn't really serve God.

Not everybody's going up in the rapture.

I believe every true born again Christian is going up, but not everybody's in church is born again.

A lot of people are just pretending Well, who is that you're talking?

I'm not talking about anybody in particular.

I don't know, I can't tell, I'm not God, god's God.

My job is to get the word out there, and when you have the presence of God, like we do this morning, people are convicted.

Yes, only the Holy Ghost can convict the world of sin.

So this wave that's coming is really the glory of the last great awakening.

We know we've had great awakening one and two, but this one's the last, and so we're living right on the precipice of it.

We're living right at the edge of it.

This is prophetic.

This is listen.

I'm not prophesying a date.

I'm just saying this year is so pivotal to what I'm talking about.

I know it's an election year, I know it's a presidential election year, but I'm talking about bigger than that.

I'm talking about bigger than election.

Yeah, it's real.

It's real.

Yeah, it's very, very pivotal election, no question about it.

But there's so many other things.

Let's keep our eyes on what God said.

The kingdom of God is mildly growing and prevailing.

We're just now seeing the signs that things are turning around.

God told me to wake up the church in March of 1999.

So in a couple of months it'll be what?

25 years ago, 25th anniversary of Him telling me to wake up the church this March first, just a few weeks.

We've spent 25 years doing everything we could do and just now we're beginning to see the signs of awakening.

People are awakening.

Pastors are awakening, bible believing Christians are awakening.

They're understanding.

Oh, my goodness, we live in the last days.

I've got something to do.

People are hearing their marching orders.

God's got a marching order for everybody in this room.

He's got something for you to be doing and something for you to be praying, something for you to be participating in.

Let's look at Joel, chapter three.

You're getting anything out of this today.

If you're in Micah, just turn to the left a few pages.

Joel, right before Amos, between Hosea and Amos.

Joel, chapter three, verse 11.

Well, let's start with verse 10.

Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears.

Let the weak say I'm strong.

Assemble yourselves and come.

Now notice he's talking to the heathen.

Come on, ye heathen, and gather yourselves together roundabout thither.

Cause thy mighty ones, cause thy mighty ones to come down.

Oh Lord, let the heathen be awakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, valley of judgment, for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

Now he's talking about the harvest of unrighteousness.

The word ripe there means rotten.

It doesn't mean like an apple, it means like a grape that's decaying.

Come get you down, for the press is full of vats.

Overflow, for their wickedness is great.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision or in the valley of threshing.

Threshing what happens to wheat?

It's threshed.

Why do you thresh it?

You thresh it to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Are y'all with me now?

When does it happen?

When both are ripe.

Isn't that amazing?

I mean, israel got to go into the promised land when the sin of the Canaanites was so great that God could not let them stay in the land anymore, and and his covenant with Israel was so, was right, ready to be performed, and so they took their place.

That's what's right.

On the edge of that, there's two harvest.

One is one that's rotten.

It's going to be harvested and put where well it's, we know where it's going.

And the other one is going to heaven, in the rapture.

Multitudes Notice verse 14.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of threshing for the day of the Lord is near.

In the valley of threshing, glory to God.

I could keep reading, but that's so prophetic of where we are.

This is where we are right now Multitudes in the valley of decision.

So what do we do?

Well, we've got a.

We've got a.

We're accountants like the.

Everything old is new again.

I mean we're new creatures.

Bible says old things have passed away, but hold, all things have come new.

I mean, I've got the joy of my salvation on me.

Glory to God.

I know things look bad out there, but I'm going to heaven.

You want to go with me?

Let me tell you how to get there.

Let me tell you how to let me.

It's so easy.

All you gotta do is call upon the name of the Lord.

See, because once we're gone, that's not how people are going to get.

Oh, pastor, I was reading where there's going to be more saved after the church is gone.

Well, they're not saved like we are, and the way they get saved is when they get the starve to death.

You want to, you want to, you want to sign up for that?

They will be saved by martyrdom.

That'll be the only way, because there won't be the church to preach, are y'all?

Y'all are.

Y'all are looking at me funny.

Now's the time.

That's my point.

Now's the time, really.

It's time to fish or cut bait.

It's time to put up or shut up.

You don't know what I'm talking about.

It's time to put your money where your mouth is.

Why are you saying all those things?

Because we're in.

We're listening to no more play in church.

You know, emperor Nero fiddled while Rome burned.

There's a lot of churches that are just fiddling to their own tune.

They might even be praising God and they might have a little appraised dance and all of that stuff, but they're not doing what God called them to do Fish or cut bait.

I mean, you know, when there's fish out there, why in the world would you want to sit on the dock and cut bait up when you've got and you need to get the hook in the water, you need to get the hook in the water and catch something.

Come on, lift your hands.

Right now I'm catching.

I tell you we're going to catch some fish, hallelujah.

So I just to wrap it up, let's ride the wave, yes, yes, this wave that God is sending.

We have momentum and the kingdom of God is mightily growing and prevailing and he's using all of us.

Come on, lift your hands and receive.

Glory to God.

Hallelujah, twenty, twenty-four, the year of momentum.
