Your Identification With Christ

Praise the Lord, lift your hands up and thank the Lord for the blood of Jesus.

We are washed in the blood.

We are redeemed by the blood.

We overcome Satan, by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony.

Thank you, lord, that we are redeemed.

Today we have access with confidence and with bonus in your presence and we cry, ah the Father, daddy, god.

Thank you, father God.

You are our very own Father and our Father is greater than all.

Thank you, father God, that we belong to your family, redeemed by the blood.

We belong to your family.

Heirs of God, join heirs with Christ.

Thank you, father God.

We are the royal family, the family of God.

We thank you, father, kings and priests, we reign in life through one man, jesus Christ.

Lord, we trust the Holy Spirit to give us fresh revelation, to bring to our remembrance the spirit of truth and to guide us into all truth.

We'll live in the light of our redemption.

We'll live in the light of what Christ has done for us.

We see ourselves in him, washed in his blood.

Thank you, father God, for the righteousness that we have in Christ Jesus, the free gift.

Open your Bible to Ephesians chapter one.

This morning we're gonna talk about your identification with Christ and who you are and what you have in Christ and the Ephesians one prayer and, of course, ephesians three prayer.

But the Ephesians one prayer and Ephesians three prayer are the prayers that Kenneth E Hagan or dad Hagan, father of the faith message, gone to be with the Lord now, but a great friend of my dad's and friend of brother Osteen's and friend of your pastors.

He came to my dad's church when I was 17 years old.

My dad and four deacons had just got me out of jail, got the picture and everything.

So my dad and four deacons got me out of jail and preachers kids have trouble because they hang out with deacons.

Kids, you know that's when they got trouble.

So I was a little bit army and got into a little trouble and so when I got out of jail, dad Hagan was doing a revival at my dad's church and I decided I better get serious about my faith in God or things could get worse.

I said I better get serious.

So I pretty much came sit on the first or second row all the meetings and listened to what he was saying, because I'd heard a thousand sermons and I had heard some great preachers and I had been dedicated and rededicated.

But my dedicated broke often.

I mean, sometimes I'm not so good at it, but sometimes it will last till Monday, but sometimes never make it to Tuesday, but it ended up in the next alter.

Call for backsliders Amen.

So I had the women in the church praying for me and you knew there never would be a revival unless I got saved again.

How many of y'all ever been saved more than once?

Don't lie, you know you have.

They actually baptized me in water several different ways because it didn't seem to be working.

So they'd try, you know, in the name of the Father, son, the Holy Ghost, and then I'd go back up and get baptized again.

And then they tried just holding me underwater for a while and said that word oh, true story.

So Well, dad Hagan taught on Ephesians, chapter one we call it the Ephesians prayer and he said if you'll take this Ephesians one prayer, starting with verse 17, ephesians one, 17,.

And he said if you'll pray that prayer every day, don't miss a day, at least once a day, preferably twice a day.

If you'll pray that prayer every day, don't miss a day for at least six months.

At least six months.

First thing he said is, the Bible will become a different book to you.

In other words, you know, I knew a lot about the Bible, knew a lot of Bible stories and loved the Bible and loved Jesus, but I didn't have this in Ephesians one.

I didn't have this.

So he said, if you want this, you need to pray this prayer and make it personal.

So I was 17 years old, so I took this prayer and wrote it down on a card about this size and then I did the King James on one side of the card, then I did the Amplified now they're called the Amplified Classic on the other side of the card.

And I was 17 years old and I had bell bottom, blue jeans I'm talking about big bell bottoms and platform shoes, holes in the pants going different kind of badges and things on the pants.

I had an afro about that big.

I had a big collar shirt and these platform shoes that would make you about six inches taller and when you walk, your head bounced just a little bit, you know, and listen to a little rock and roll music and trying to serve the Lord a little bit also.

Well, I'd only weighed about 170 pounds back in those days and you see, those days are gone forever.

But I've been happily married for 47 years and my wife makes good fried chicken.

So what can I say?

So this prayer in Ephesians one I would have to say, would be one of the most significant things that I could do as a Christian, even a spirit filled Christian, that could do something to change my life and actually change my faith or affect my faith in God.

So let's read Ephesians one 17, reading the King James, and I can quote it, but we'll go ahead and read it and so we're gonna make it personal.

But this is a prayer for spirit filled believers.

You know another one, not praying for the lost, lost people.

You need prayer, but we're talking about people that are saved, go to church, been filled with the Holy Spirit and still need prayer.

So I decided well, I'm gonna go ahead and start praying this for myself, and you could actually pray it for somebody else.

But this prayer includes some really key ingredients and you're saying God, the God, ephesians one 17, the God of our Lord, jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you.

What do you want?

Well, you just put me in there may give unto me.

So I just made it personal that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

Whoa man, that's a good one right there, isn't it?

So what are you asking God for?

Well, you're not really asking Him for money.

You're not really asking Him to do something in your body or your family.

You're saying God, this would be a major, significant, important thing that I need.

That, apparently, is not automatic.

God wants us to have it, but he wants us to ask Him for it.

This is our prayer life.

You're saying, father, god, I'm asking you to give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

To me, this means that you're not just gonna be gathering more Bible information, but God's gonna give you.

Wow, come on individually.

Come on.

I was 17 years old.

I'm pretty much a nobody.

I ain't no preacher, I'm just a teenager just got out of the church.

I'm just a teenager just got out of jail and I'm asking God to give me this.

I believe God would do this for any person that asks Him Amen.

And Dad Hagen said if you are serious about it, you pray this prayer every day, at least once a day, preferably more than once, and the first thing that'll happen is the Bible will become a different book to you.

Well, there's some stuff in the Bible Are y'all still here?

There's some stuff in the Bible that you and I have never seen, that God would show it to us as we'd ask.

Nothing complicated, most time is pretty simple Amen.

So you're saying Father God.

So I pull that card out of my back pocket and I did it two times a day at least and I say, father God, I'm asking you, I'm asking you, come on, I'm 17 years old.

I'm asking you, I just got out of jail.

You can't say I didn't love Jesus.

Come on, I knew the Bible's a word of God.

But, boy, I'm telling you, I had some stuff going on in my brain.

Can y'all ever have anything on your brain that was pulling you this way or pulling you that way?

So I said God, I'm asking you for the knowledge of God to be stronger than any other information I have in my life.

So I'm asking you, cardi, that you give unto me the Spirit of Wisdom, revelation and the knowledge of God, the eyes of my understanding to be flooded with light.

So the key-jank says the eyes of your understanding.

He's talking about the eyes of your heart to be flooded with light, in other words, that I will see for myself things about God and the Word of God that I have not seen before, and those things will change my life, my faith, my destiny.

I'm asking you to give me Wow.

Do you think he would do that for you?

Come on, if any man lack wisdom, just ask God.

We ask so many other people, ask God, amen.

And then the Bible says that Moses laid his hands on Joshua and the spirit of wisdom came on him.

How do you think that affected Joshua?

Well, joshua became the leader that led them into the promised land and possessed the land.

So he must have known something the rest of them didn't know.

And then Joshua was the man, the commander and the son to stand still, so he must have known something people didn't know.

Praise the Lord, I need to get some inside information and live with the wisdom of God.

So, father, god, amen.

I'm asking you, come on.

Any man, any woman, anybody can do this.

I don't mean you're saved.

You're saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, but you're saying, father God, in 2024, I'm asking you to give me a breakthrough in the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of God.

I don't know things and see things this year I've never seen before in my life.

Come on, that means I'm going to increase in the knowledge of God, to know God's ways.

Come on, that's the winning way right there, god's way, not my way, his way, his thoughts.

Amen that you give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

The eyes of my understanding flow like that.

I may know To know Three things.

Are you ready To know what is the riches of the glory of the inheritance that belongs to us as saints?

The riches of the glory of the inheritance my?

You're an heir of God, a joint heir with Christ.

You can't even think poor.

Come on, you can't act broke.

Come on, you're an heir of God.

Help me to see the riches of the glory of the inheritance in us, in the saints, and what Praise the Lord.

And to know the calling of God upon my life, the high calling of God that each one of us has, a call of God upon our life and a divine destiny, and the devil will do everything he can to mess up your identity and your destiny.

The spirit of wisdom, revelation.

The eyes of my heart flow.

I may know what is the hope of your calling, what is the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints and here's the big one, right here and what is the exceeding greatness of your power towards us who believe according to the working of your mighty power which you wrought in Christ when you raised Him from the dead and set Him at your own right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come, and you put all things under His feet, gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.

Come on, that'll rattle your cage.

Come on now.

In other words, paul says I want you and I to see what God has done for us in Christ and the tremendous power that's available to every believer.

Do we have any believers in here?

Come on, we're talking about mountain moving power, devil defeating power.

Come on, that raised Christ from the dead and he said and that power was released towards us who believe Whoa.

So there is no power shortage.

Come on.

Sometimes you say, well, I just mean no power.

Come on, the power to change things in your life, the power to move mountains, the power to change things in other people's lives, in our generation.

We are not powerless.

We have tremendous power available, exceeding great power, and so different translators when it comes to the kind of power God used when he raised Christ from the dead.

Different translators have like a party with those words, because you got the English words where it says exceeding great power towards us who believe According to the what Working of His mighty power, which he wrought, power in Christ when he raised Him from the dead.

All right now, I've said this before, but I'm still impressed.

I'm still impressed Now.

If you're not impressed with Ephesians, chapter one, I just don't think I can help you.

What happened when God raised Christ from the dead?

Because Jesus had descended to the lowest place and then he ascended to the highest place that he might be Lord everywhere, in every situation Champion, boss, master.

Jesus is Lord.

So the kind of power God used when he raised Christ from the dead, is these King James translators exceeding great?

And so then you'll get the other translators that say unlimited, extraordinary, mighty, explosive.

In other words, the resurrection of Christ was the greatest display of power in the history of the universe.

All right, I want to try this out over here.

So, you and I towards us who believe.

So, if you're a believer, there's tremendous power.

Enough power to recreate your spirit, enough power to change your mind and change your life.

Enough power to heal your body, enough power to destroy cancer, enough power to move things out of the way that are blocking you.

Come on, there's more shortage of power.

Praise the Lord, now we got football this afternoon, right, well, we finished before that.

So I grew up in the Houston Allers days.

So, mike Barber, we sit together at Brother Copeland's meetings, and then he took me to the big rodeo and he gets special seats and so he's a good friend.

So, mike Barber, you know, so I just saw him a few days ago, and so I come into my seat by him and I say we are the Houston Allers Houston.

And then we say little things.

Bum Phillips used to say, you know, they'd say, well, how fast can Earl Campbell run.

Bum said he can run as fast as he needs to.

That's how fast Earl would.

But those are the days when you know, I love football.

So when Earl Campbell Lord have mercy, in his first few years he was so strong that when he would come around, the left end or right end, he's coming around.

Well, when he's coming around, he didn't run around nobody.

He runs slap dab over you man.

It's tiresome.

So when Earl came around, we go it comes to power, buddy.

When Earl comes around, well, just to love to what Earl run.

Imagine what a born-again, spirit-filled believer who has a revelation of who they are in Christ.

And you got the ball.

Come on, here comes some things happening.

When you get up in the morning, something's going to change.

Devil's going to run.

Come on, something's happening.

When you get up you say here comes a man with a power right now.

Praise the Lord.

So why did God use such tremendous power when he raised Christ from the dead?

Because when Jesus was raised from the dead, he was not just overcoming rigor mortis.

Rigor mortis is a serious problem.

People get stiff.

They put them in a box six feet under.

So I'm not saying rigor mortis is not serious, but rigor mortis is not your most serious problem.

It's what happens after death.

Y'all still here.

So physical death is not man's most serious problem.

Man's most serious problem would be spiritual death or the second death.

But why did God use such tremendous power when he raised Christ from the dead?

Because that power that God used to raise Christ from the dead was enough power to undo everything Satan had done in Adam.

Oh, all right, let's try this out over here.

God released enough power to undo, destroy, loosen and dissolve all the works of the devil, to undo everything Satan had done in Adam.

He released enough power.

There's not a power shortage.

Everything the devil has ever done, everything he could possibly do, has been destroyed, has been neutralized, and death itself has been destroyed.

All right, all right, praise the Lord.

Enough power to make a new spirit in you, a new creation in Christ, put a new heart in you, put a new nature in you.

Enough power to heal your body.

Enough power to change your moods and your emotions.

Enough power to set you free from every strategy of the devil.

Enough power to put every demon on the run.

Enough power.

Come on now to redeem you and set you free.

Come on, there's power, listen now, and that power is in His name, that power is in His blood.

Come on now.

The power of the blood, that power is in His Word, is in His Word, is in His blood.

Come on, didn't y'all ever sing.

There is power, power, wonder, working power in the blood.

That ain't just a song, baby.

There's power, power, wonder, working power.

Whoo, praise the Lord.

Everybody say power, power is in power.

Come on, don't let the devil tell you well, you don't feel nothing, you feel anything, because the power of God is tangible, you can feel it.

But even when you don't feel it I said even when you don't feel it.

I said even when you don't feel it when you have a spirit of wisdom, revelation, you know that some power working when you don't feel nothing.

Whoo, come on, I can take you to Russia, to Chernobyl, where they had a nuclear meltdown.

So much power was released, say it's like 600 years Energy.

That power is in the dirt, power is in the trees, power got in the animals, power got in the house.

I mean, it's the whole place vacated, nobody lives there.

But you can take a tour.

They say you can take a tour, but you can only stay there a certain amount of time, because if you stay there too long you're going to be glowing in the dark.

I'm going to tell you and nobody ever misses the bus when it's time to leave to Chernobyl tour let's get out of here.

But nobody goes there and goes whoa, whoa.

I feel it.

I feel it here.

You don't feel nothing.

Come on, just because energy and power does not register on your senses does not mean that it is not there.

Come on now, even though you don't feel it.

When you say in the name of Jesus, by the blood of Jesus, and you speak the word, you go, that's some power.

Whoa, that's some power working here.

Come on, there's power.

Power, wonder, working power.

Come on.

In the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the spoken word of God, there's power.

Come on.

The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells on the inside of you.

He gives life to your mortal body.

That power, the Holy Ghost, power, whoo.

Somebody ought to start laughing right now.

Say I got so much power.

You'll be like on Norver Hage, you know.

He said I woke up this morning years ago.

I had power.

I got power in my hands.

I got power in my feet.

He said power in my face.

He said I got power in my teeth.

I got power in my fingernails.

I got power in my toenails.

I got power in my blood going through my body right now.

I got power in my brain right now.

I got power.

Don't act like you ain't got no power.

Come on, give me that.

I got power.

Man power's working in me today.

I'm strong in the Lord and in the power of His mind.

Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

So what are you praying for, then?

So here's your prayer.

Father God, I'm asking you to give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

Praise the Lord, the eyes of my heart flooded with light that I may know who's the hope of your calling.

Come on, let's try this out over here.

Come on, when you know the call of God, you will not sell out for anything this world has to offer the high calling of God for your life.

Woo, come on now, father, god, I'm asking you, come on.

You say, well, I know about it, but let's just talk to Him about it a little bit.

And what is the riches of the glory of your inheritance?

Come on, what is the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints and what is what?

The exceeding greatness of your power Towards us who believe?

So you're not just a believer, but you're a believer who has had an experience with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

That means you shout while everybody else sits there and looks at you.

Come on, you're saying I saw something there.

I know you didn't see it, but I saw something there and everybody's going.

You have to be interested in verse.

You go, but I saw something.

Come on, you get your faith loaded up with revelation, knowledge.

Praise the Lord, eyes of my heart flooded with life.

I may know what the hope you're calling the riches of your inheritance was.

Exceeding greatness of your power Towards us who believe.

What?

According to the working of your mighty power, which you wrought in Christ?

All right, now, see those two words in Christ.

That's what I'm going to teach you on this other surface introduction which he wrought.

You might as well.

Get happy because I'm going to enjoy myself.

So which he wrought in Christ, in Christ, when he raised him from the dead.

So underline those two words, because Dad Hage said every time you see those two words in Christ, in him or in whom, circle or underline those two words, because that describes something you are and something you have, because you are now a new creature in Christ.

That means everything God did in Christ.

He did it for you, set to the credit of your account, just like you were there.

Praise the Lord, woo.

Praise the Lord.

Right now I'm 17 years old, you understand, I'm 71 right now, but I still get happy, because when I was 17, I didn't really have enough power to deal with things, but once I prayed that prayer, I went.

What are you talking about, though?

When God raised Christ from the dead, set him at his own right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion in every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come, and he put all things under his feet, gave him to be the head of the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all of them.

If you're just a little toe in the body of Christ, you are still seated far above all principality and power.

If you're just a little toe, are y'all still here?

All right, now I'm going to hop to Ephesians 2 real quick, ephesians 2-4 through 6 real quickly, because I'm trying to go faster but some of y'all are listening slow, so I'm working with you.

I lost a few of you at the last traffic light, so listen, I'm watching you.

But God, who is rich, in mercy for his great love for with, he, loved us even when we were dead in sin.

He made us alive together with Christ.

All right, all right, I'm not going no, faster.

How many of you have an amplified Bible?

What's his name?

He made us alive together with Christ.

He gave us the very same life that he gave to Christ, the same life that he gave to Christ.

He gave you and I the same life that he gave to Christ.

That's right.

One more time, come on.

Now I'm asking for the Spirit of the Wiz in Revelation, which means I know you're hearing me, but I want you to see that.

In other words, paul says you can see the same thing.

I saw Whatever Paul saw, knocked the S off the front of his name, put a P there, changed his direction, his destiny.

He lost all his old friends and he had his own life changed.

Come on, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature.

All things are passed away.

Everything has become new.

Come on, this changes everything.

He made us alive together.

All right, come on, get a little bit of fun.

You look with your eyes go.

He made us alive together, gave us the same life.

Praise the Lord, just go ahead and laugh for a minute, because I'm trying to finish this sermon and it's going to be a miracle.

He gave us the same life.

So imagine me being 17 years old, seeing that that he made me alive together with Christ and raised us up together with him and made us sit down together with him in heavenly places.

Come on, you're never fighting for victory, you're always fighting from victory.

You're seated up here.

Come on, and the devil's way down there.

Come on, you ain't seeing right if you're seeing yourself down here and you're trying to get up there.

No, you take your place in Christ first.

Come on, redeemed by his blood, take your place in Christ.

He made us alive together, seated together with him, far above all principalities.

So y'all want to know the first thing I did.

I'm 17 years old.

The first thing I did is I laughed, and I've been laughing ever since.

He irritated some people.

But I still laugh.

Why are you laughing?

Because I ain't trying to get it.

Jesus got it for me, so it's mine.

I have it now.

I'm here, ha ha ha.

And the devil's way down there, ha ha ha ha.

So God listen closely did in Christ what he wanted to do in every man.

Oh yeah, man, all right, let's try it outside over here.

God did in Christ, because there's 130 in Christ scriptures, 130 in Christ in him, in whom.

So I started studying Paul's Revelation.

What's the difference between the four gospels Matthew, mark, luke and John and Paul's Revelation?

In the four gospels you see Jesus died, jesus buried and Jesus raised.

You see the Via Dolorosa.

But in Paul's Revelation he sees something different.

Paul sees what God saw.

The four gospels.

You see what man saw.

Paul's revelation Romans, corinthians and Galatians.

You see what God saw.

You see what angels saw and you see what the devil saw.

You see what happened in the spirit In four gospels.

You see what man saw, what happened in the natural, but in Paul's revelation you see what God saw, what happened in the spirit.

I like to say it this way the four gospels, matthew, mark, luke and John are a photograph of your redemption.

Paul's letters are an x-ray.

In other words, it's the same picture, it's just a different kind of picture.

I could see a photograph of you and you look one way, and I could see an x-ray of you and you look totally different.

Why?

Because the x-ray is looking inside of you.

God wants you to see what happened in Christ, not just what happened to Christ, but what happened in Christ, because everything God did in Christ, he did it for us, sent to the credit of our account.

Praise the Lord Says 130 in Christ.

So I'm praying this prayer, ephesians one, every day.

And then I started studying man.

I thought, wow, in Christ, new creature in Christ.

Then I went to verse 21, segrement 5, then made the righteousness of God in Christ.

Come on, you're no longer struggling.

Come on, try to do better and maybe one day you'll make it.

In Christ, you are the righteousness of God, ain't you?

Amen.

So one translation says and this is in Colossians, where it calls Jesus the first, first born from the dead, or he's the first man to enter the death experience and master it, or one translation calls Him the first, or the archetype.

Now, what's an archetype?

Well, you had the first Adam, but Jesus is the last Adam.

He is the new man.

In other words, god made a new Adam, a new man, a new kind of human that never existed before.

To make sure he didn't fail, god personally got in the body, come on, pass the test, went through death, raised from the dead and now Jesus is Lord.

But he is the archetype, or let's say this, he's the prototype.

Now we went to the Houston Auto Show yesterday in the energy place.

I don't know if you guys went, but there's a lot of people in there.

So they got boats in there and they got the newest cars and trucks and all different kinds.

So I'm pretty fascinated by that.

So I'm looking at the newest stuff, because I got some old trucks and I got some new trucks.

I got some old cars and I got some new cars.

When I see the new stuff come out, I want to find out how it's better than what I got, because if it's better than what I got, I'm fixing to get what the best is because I'm a child of God.

I'm sorry, I'm raining and that's whatever If it's better than mine.

There ain't nobody in the planet that should have it, other than I know I should have one if you can have it.

So, boy, I'm looking at it, boy, I look.

Oh, look at that man, that's something.

Woo man.

Ah.

So years ago I would go to those shows auto shows and they came out with a new Raptor truck and so I had.

Well, one of these days I'm going to get one.

Well, I finally got one.

I've had about like 20 of them anyway, so I'm giving me the new Raptor truck.

So I looked at that Raptor truck and I found out what made it different than a regular truck.

So I'm studying it.

I studied the motor how much horsepower I got.

You study the suspension, you see how the shock absorbers work and you see how it's going to travel to the rough place.

You study the transmission and you study the four wheel drive, and then you're going to have four wheel drive with a lock and differential.

Are y'all still here?

So then they take that Raptor and they get all the equipment that they want in it.

Then they test it through hot desert, test it in ice and snow.

They test it in the mountains, test it in the valleys.

Come on, test it in rain, test it in mud.

Once it passed every test, now they have the arc type or the prototype.

Once they got the prototype, they put the same equipment that's in the prototype and every other Raptor has the same equipment that they put in the prototype.

So what God did in Christ?

Come on, we're making a new man here now.

So what God did in Christ?

Now, jesus passed every test, come on, went through the heat, went through the cold, actually went to hell and back.

Come on, overcame every disease, every temptation, every sin.

Come on, jesus.

And then he made Jesus the prototype and he put the same equipment and every other person that's in Christ.

He put the same life, same righteousness, same authority, same blessing that he put in every other person.

Same thing he put in Christ.

Our God did in Christ what he wanted to do in everybody.

I said this way God put in Christ what he wanted every man to have.

So you are not A regular, normal person.

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

All things are passed away.

Everything has become new.

Come on, you are not just a forgiven sinner.

You are not somebody that's just kind of hanging out here until you die and one day you go to heaven to be something.

You are something right now.

Come on, you are something.

Right now.

You are carrying the same life that God gave to Christ.

Now, the reason you ain't that happy about it is you hadn't prayed that prayer for six months.

All right, let's try this other way.

You don't even know what you got in you.

It has never registered on your brain what you got in you.

You don't know what God has done for you in Christ.

When you see it for yourself, it lights you up.

Change is your faith.

Every one of us have this life.

This life is what brings you into identification with Christ.

You are no longer what your mama made you.

You're no longer what your daddy made you.

You're no longer, come on, what ancestrycom tells you where you came from?

Come on now.

You can't be.

What ancestrycom tells you who you are?

You came from.

You're a new kind of person that never existed before.

Made after made after the Christ pattern.

You don't get your identity from your skin.

You don't get your identity from what happened to you.

You get your identity from what happened to Jesus Christ.

Come on, you were crucified with Him, buried with Him.

Come on, made alive with Him.

That's who I am.

Come on, people got identity, christ.

They're trying to figure out who I am, you know.

People don't even know if they're a dog, a cat or a human.

Don't even know what bathroom they're going to go to.

Come on, when he became sin for you that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

I dare you to believe that.

So the crowning achievement.

Maybe tonight we'll see the crowning achievement of the plan of redemption, in other words, number one reason Jesus came.

Number one reason Jesus became a man.

Number one reason Jesus died, number one reason Jesus was buried, number one reason he was raised from the dead, number one reason the crowning achievement of the plan of redemption is to get this life back into a man.

Come on, it's what Adam lost, not religion, come on, not diseducation.

But Jesus said I have come that you might have this life.

Be that half the son hath this life.

Come on.

John said I've written these things to you that you may know.

You have this life, eternal life.

Anybody here know you got it, I got it.

I got it.

Listen, this life is spiritual life.

It's the same life that's in God.

It's the same life that's in Christ.

It's the same life that raised Christ from the dead.

This life, crowning achievement of the plan of redemption, it's for you and I to be born of God, re-fathered and receive this life.

The devil knows he cannot dominate any person that has this life.

Well, I think you ought to laugh right now.

The devil demons know they cannot dominate any man, any woman that has this life.

Come on, listen now.

Sin cannot dominate you.

Old habits cannot dominate you.

Come on.

Thoughts and imaginations cannot dominate you.

Sickness and disease cannot dominate you.

Jesus Christ come on his life in your spirit right now.

Now, if we could do a little extra here.

And the more you know about it, your faith now comes up to a new level.

So the devil knows, once you have this life, it is this life that makes you a new creature in Christ.

So, even though you can say it, not everybody understands what they're saying.

But you can say I am a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Old things have passed away, everything has become new.

Come on, let's try saying it together.

I am a new creature in Christ.

Now you say that, six months from now, after you prayed that prayer every day, I am a new kind of creature that never existed before, made with the same stuff that God put in Christ.

I'll make Jesus the Lord of my life, not just intellectually, but I believe God, for the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
