  1. Our Bible's up, wave them around and make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

  2. Let's say this together.

  3. Let's say heavenly Father, we're so glad to be here in your presence.

  4. We declare that Jesus is Lord.

  5. He's Lord over this nation.

  6. He's Lord over my life.

  7. Today, I'll be taught the Word of God.

  8. My faith is being fed, my spirit is being developed and I am bringing forth fruit, more and more fruit, for the glory of the Father.

  9. In Jesus name, you can be seated.

  10. Amen, amen.

  11. Hebrews 11.

  12. Please.

  13. Hebrews the 11th chapter.

  14. We'll start reading with verse one.

  15. Somebody asked me how many times have you preached out of these verses?

  16. I don't know, it's countless, I think, by now.

  17. Some of my favorite verses, all right, and I just to let you know, I just like the King James.

  18. I prefer the King James.

  19. If you don't like the King James, just get whatever Bible type that you like to read, something that you'll read.

  20. But I read the King James.

  21. I just preach out of the King James.

  22. I tried the new King James for a while.

  23. I couldn't even find the scriptures.

  24. I mean, I just discombobulated and I don't even dare trying to preach out of the Amplified.

  25. It's just too loud.

  26. And so Now I'm going to read one more of these, hebrews 11 one.

  27. Have you found it Now?

  28. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, for.

  29. By it, that is by faith, the elders obtained a good report.

  30. Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God.

  31. So the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

  32. And I want to read the first three out of the Barclay translation.

  33. William Barclay and it.

  34. Verse three says it is by faith that we understand that the universe was constructed by the Word of God, for the scene had to take its origin from the unseen.

  35. The scene had to take its origin from the unseen.

  36. And so today I wanted to begin a series entitled Building your World With your Words, building your World With Words.

  37. The whole universe was built by words.

  38. The worlds were framed, fashioned, put in order and equipped for their intended purpose by the Word of God.

  39. That's the amplified verse three.

  40. Isn't that good?

  41. The worlds were framed, fashioned, put in order and equipped for their intended purpose by the Word of God.

  42. I mean, you're created for a purpose.

  43. And the Word.

  44. If you will speak it, if you will learn to construct your world with words with the Word, then I'm telling you praise God, you'll be equipped.

  45. Everybody say I'm being equipped for my intended purpose.

  46. You know, a number of years ago the Holy Spirit spoke to me.

  47. He says teach what you take for granted.

  48. And I don't know how many times I've preached this message quite a few, I don't even care, because faith cometh by hearing.

  49. And hearing, I mean you have to hear something over and over and over before you finally move out of your brain and it falls down in your spirit.

  50. And besides that, even if you've got a revelation of the things that I'm talking about today, then what I'm preaching is going to water what you've already got down there planning.

  51. It's going to do you good.

  52. And I learned a long time ago, you know, just because Brother Osteen would preach the same things over and over.

  53. And I told Brother Hagin, are you kidding?

  54. I'd make a special trip across town to hear Brother Hagin whenever he'd come to town.

  55. I remember one particular time he was in Alvin and Alvin, have you tried?

  56. I mean, you got to pack a lunch to drive from here to Alvin Living Stone Church Pastor Al Janell.

  57. Well, he's in heaven now, but anyway, brother Hagin would come to his church man I'd drive across town in both capes.

  58. Turn your bibles.

  59. Mark 1123.

  60. I wonder how many thousand times he preached out of Mark 1123.

  61. But the worlds were framed, fashion and put in order.

  62. The scene takes its origin from the unseen.

  63. You know, when you read the book of Genesis it hadn't been as recently.

  64. I've you know about once a year the way I read my Bible.

  65. I read my Bible in such a way and I have to repeat this, some of you know this this is my Bible reading plan.

  66. I like to read two in the old two chapters in the old two chapters, in the new, five Psalms and a proverb every day.

  67. So if you do that every day, that's 10 chapters a day.

  68. That's doable.

  69. You read 10 chapters a day, two in the old, two in the new five Psalms and one proverb.

  70. You'll read through the Old Testament about once a year.

  71. You'll read through the New Testament about three times in a year.

  72. That's about the right ratio.

  73. And then, of course, you read all the Psalms once a month and all the Proverbs once a month, and I mean it's a wonderful way to read your Bible and you'd be.

  74. And then I additionally say it this way, you know, when you're reading the book of Psalms instead of starting off, psalm one, two, three, four, five, I just go.

  75. I go by the date.

  76. So today is the third day of the month, so I read Psalm three, psalm 33, 63, 93, 123.

  77. Y'all will get that this afternoon about three o'clock.

  78. See, just add 30.

  79. See, you're because you're going to do it once every 30 days, you see.

  80. So just add 30 to the date.

  81. And if you all would be amazed at how the Psalms fit together that way.

  82. It's just almost like they were written on purpose that way.

  83. Anyway, I just recently was reading a Genesis and I made a particular note of the fact that over and over in the story of creation it says that God said and God saw.

  84. God said and God saw.

  85. God said.

  86. Everybody say God said and God saw.

  87. You know, I mean, you know you're going to have to hearing comes before seeing.

  88. If you don't, if you don't say anything, you're not going to see much.

  89. If you're not saying the right thing, you might not like what you're seeing.

  90. Well, check up on what you're saying, because it works in the reverse, it works in the negative and this is what people you know.

  91. The world is programmed negatively.

  92. How many figured that out.

  93. I mean they programmed negatively.

  94. They don't know how to talk and of course you know, every now and then somebody will come up with a positive.

  95. You know they'll get into a cult and they they tap into some of the truth of the Word of God and they'll mix a little truth with all the lies they believe and basically most of them believe that man is at the top of the heap.

  96. No, we don't believe that God's at the top of the heap, but we're made in his image and likeness.

  97. We're designed to operate the way he operates because there in Genesis he said let us make a man, elohim.

  98. God said let us father, son and Holy Ghost.

  99. Really was before the son, father word and Holy Ghost, father word and Holy Ghost.

  100. Let us make a man just like ourselves.

  101. The living Bible says let us make him masters of all of life, let us make him in his image and after our likeness and let him have dominion over the bird of the fowls of the air, the birds you know, birds in the air the fish in the sea and all the creeps, everything that creeps on the earth.

  102. I mean I just, I just lump them all in, call them all creeps We've got.

  103. We've got power over creeps.

  104. So, you know, if he, if he, wanted that to happen.

  105. They were designed to operate the way he operates.

  106. Let's cooperate with the way we're designed.

  107. So, talking about Mark 11, 23, brother Hagin had been, you know, preaching on the field ministry for for some time and his cut, you know, he'd pastored for 12 years and then he felt led to get out in the field ministry and start going from church to church.

  108. It's a pretty big challenge.

  109. His first year was so tough that he had to go back and pastor again because he just couldn't make it financially until God taught him how to, how to, how to operate.

  110. I just think these great men of God that we, you know, we're standing on their shoulders.

  111. They, they, they paid a tremendous price, they and their families.

  112. And then you look at Ramah.

  113. It's worldwide, it's all over the world.

  114. He had what he birthed, what he brought forth on the earth is amazing.

  115. I've got a whole lot of patience for people.

  116. So, oh, you're one of those limit and claim it.

  117. Well, you can make fun of what Jesus said.

  118. All you want to say, you want to put a little spin on it, you want to mock it, you go right ahead.

  119. What have you done and how's it working for you?

  120. By the way, no, I'm word of faith and I'm glad of it, and I'm not gonna read anything or listen to anything that denigrates that principle, because it's all through the Bible.

  121. But anyway, he was preaching in this church and his morning he'd have a morning meeting and a night meeting and he was off the afternoon.

  122. And when he first started the field ministry, well, he would just pray, pray, pray all day long.

  123. I mean, he'd wear himself out.

  124. By the time two weeks is up, he's exhausted because he's spending so much energy.

  125. He's fasting all day long, praying.

  126. Well, it's good to fast, it's good to pray, but there's a time and a place for everything.

  127. And finally God had to say look, you need a meditator.

  128. Why don't you go and lay on your bed in the afternoons and meditate on my word, instead of wasting all your energy just working so hard?

  129. You're not gonna last like this.

  130. And he said I started meditating on the word.

  131. I was just laying on my bed and I mean, he said, my understanding of the word just increased exponentially and God began to show me things.

  132. Anyway, getting back to that, so he was in the mode of working hard.

  133. And so the afternoon came, he'd had a morning meeting.

  134. Afternoon came he went in the sanctuary and he's in there praying and he got tired and he laid down.

  135. And he got quiet, laid down with his hands behind his head like that, just looking up at the ceiling, right on the floor of the sanctuary, right in front of the platform.

  136. And he got quiet and he heard the spirit talk to him and he says have you ever noticed in Mark 11, 23 that it says believe one time and it says say, or some form of say, three times?

  137. Have you ever noticed?

  138. And so he came up.

  139. He rose up like this and he said no, lord, I don't think I've ever noticed that.

  140. And he said, and in parenthesis, there's no time.

  141. I'm telling you how many hundred times I'd read that verse, those verses, I mean just Mark 11, 23,.

  142. How many times has he read his Bible in all the years he's been preaching?

  143. I mean, he's preached out of it before, but he'd never noticed believe one time, say or some form of say three times.

  144. And he said you know, my people are not missing it primarily on what they believe.

  145. They believe right, but my people are missing it primarily on what they're saying, and you're gonna have to teach them three times as much about what to say is what to believe.

  146. Thus, his ministry, his true ministry, he said go and teach my people faith.

  147. Now you look at Ramah.

  148. Now it's all over the world.

  149. Oh, they've got.

  150. They've got Ramah in Europe, they got Ramah in the Ukraine, they got Ramah in Russia, they got Ramah in China, but it's underground.

  151. But they got Ramah there.

  152. They got Ramah everywhere.

  153. Teaching this word of faith.

  154. This is a word of faith message, pastor.

  155. I've heard it before.

  156. Well, you need to hear it again, because we all need to get busy constructing something better than what we've got, greater than what we've got, cause the harvest is nigh, amen.

  157. So when you look up these words, whosoever shall say under this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass.

  158. He shall have whatsoever he saith.

  159. So you know those three words there.

  160. The two on the extremes, the beginning and the end, is epo, which just means to say, but the one in the middle shall believe.

  161. Those things which he saith shall come to pass.

  162. That word, saith is the Greek word lego, which means to have a systematic discourse.

  163. In other words, you say it over and over again.

  164. You don't just say something one time and expect everything to change like lightning.

  165. It's what you say with faith in your heart.

  166. Now, yes, you're believing those things which you say shall come to pass.

  167. You're believing those things that you have a systematic discourse of saying shall come to pass.

  168. You shall then have whatsoever.

  169. You saith, whosoever shall have, whatsoever you wanna call that blabbit and grab it.

  170. You wanna call that name and claim it.

  171. Well, you go right ahead.

  172. I mean, I can't control what you make fun of, but I'm telling you I wouldn't make fun of something that is that important and that vital to your life.

  173. I mean, you're cheating yourself.

  174. These people that have that kind of attitude, they're the same people that can't pay attention, much less pay their bills.

  175. Are you with me now?

  176. So faith is acting on the word.

  177. Faith is acting like the Bible is true, and the initial action of faith is what you say.

  178. I mean, that's the end, not the only action, but that's what you say about what you believe.

  179. That's the first thing you do when you have faith, you speak it, and so everybody say systematic discourse.

  180. So Jesus is the one that said you can have whatever you say.

  181. I mean, I just believe that Jesus knows what he's talking about.

  182. When I look back on the ministry of Jesus, he hardly you know, really.

  183. I know he went up on the mountain to pray.

  184. We just preached for four weeks on having you know your prayer life and so forth, the power of prayer.

  185. It's so important to have a prayer life.

  186. Prayer is not how you get faith, but prayer is the cornerstone of your faith.

  187. Prayer puts you in position to hear.

  188. I said, prayer puts you in position to hear and hear and hear.

  189. And the more you put yourself in position to hear and hear and hear, the more your faith is gonna grow.

  190. So, prayer, you can't pray for faith like oh God, give me faith.

  191. No, that's not how it comes.

  192. It comes by hearing.

  193. But then go back to praying.

  194. What's praying?

  195. Well, praying's a dialogue.

  196. Praying.

  197. Part of praying is hearing.

  198. Are y'all with me now?

  199. So Jesus is the one that said you know whosoever shall have whatsoever.

  200. Man, just boy, that covers a lot of territory, amen.

  201. Now let's look at Mark, chapter four, talking about what Jesus said, and Mark, chapter four.

  202. That chapter contains the parable of the sower sows the word.

  203. And in verse 26, he's continuing on after he gave the parable, because the parable was spoken to the Jews and then he had to talk more to his disciples.

  204. So this part was said to the disciples verse 26.

  205. And he said so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up.

  206. He knoweth not how, first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear.

  207. But when the fruit is brought forth and my margin says when the fruit is ripe, he put it in the sickle.

  208. Who's the he there?

  209. Well, it's the one that sowed the word.

  210. It's the one that planted the word, not God.

  211. God doesn't put in the sickle, you put in the sickle.

  212. If you're planting the word in your spirit, then you're the one that's gonna know when it's ripe.

  213. You're the one that's gonna know how.

  214. You know that.

  215. Well, you're there again.

  216. Prayer, the Holy Ghost can let you know.

  217. I'll go back to my Mercedes testimony.

  218. I didn't address the need I had.

  219. God knew I had a crop that had matured, because years before that I had sown a 1940 Cadillac and gave it to Lakewood and they sold the car and put the money in the general fund.

  220. They sold it for 8,000.

  221. The people got a good deal.

  222. Lakewood got 8,000 and I sowed a seed but I didn't have anything to show for it for years until there came a day, and when I was praying one day, the Lord says by the way, you've got a problem.

  223. You just signed a contract to build a house 57 miles each way from your home and you're driving a worn out car.

  224. And you haven't handled that in prayer.

  225. What was that?

  226. That was God letting me know.

  227. Put in the sickle boy.

  228. Are y'all getting this?

  229. Now?

  230. I'm tying this.

  231. I'm tying what we've been preaching into your building, your world with words.

  232. And so I, man, I got busy.

  233. I handled that.

  234. One month later I had me a car.

  235. Glory to God.

  236. Somebody gave me one.

  237. I couldn't afford to buy one Number one.

  238. I couldn't get credit to borrow the money to buy one Number two.

  239. I didn't have money for a down payment anyway.

  240. So the only way I'm gonna get one is somebody just gives me one.

  241. Have you ever tried waiting for somebody to give you a car Because I'd never done that?

  242. I didn't really.

  243. That wasn't my preferred way, but that was.

  244. I had to put in the sickle and guess what it worked.

  245. I said it worked.

  246. Glory to God.

  247. All right.

  248. So Mark 26, 426,.

  249. This is how the kingdom works, that if a man see, if you don't plant the seed into your heart, what is it?

  250. Plant seed into the ground.

  251. What ground does he talk about?

  252. He's talking about your spirit.

  253. Go back and read the entire parable.

  254. He's not talking about this ground out here.

  255. He's talking about your spirit.

  256. Your heart is your spirit.

  257. When you speak the word, it goes down into your spirit.

  258. Are you with me now?

  259. And then, if you keep on with a systematic discourse, then you're planting more seed in your water than the seed you've already planted.

  260. I mean, do you ever just go?

  261. You've got a corn seed and you put one corn in the garden.

  262. I mean, is that how you plant corn?

  263. Is that how you plant anything?

  264. No, you've got a bag of seeds, don't you?

  265. Well, it takes a bag of words.

  266. You're gonna have to speak some words and you're gonna have to do it on a regular basis, and you're gonna have to speak whenever it's really hot and raining or whatever the circumstance.

  267. You're gonna have to keep speaking that thing that you're believing for.

  268. Are you with me now?

  269. Glory to God.

  270. So he said there, the seed is the word of God, verse 14.

  271. He said the seed is the word.

  272. He said the sower soweth the word.

  273. See, he sows the word.

  274. I like what Oral Roberts used to call it.

  275. He called it seed faith.

  276. He preached on seed faith.

  277. Brother Hagin talked about the word of faith, because that's what Paul calls it, this word of faith which we preach the gospel is the word of faith.

  278. You criticize the word of faith, you're criticizing God's word, you're criticizing the way God operates.

  279. How dumb can you get and still breathe?

  280. So the ground is the heart of the spirit of man and the whole kingdom.

  281. Then we can decide from reading this the whole kingdom is based on words.

  282. If you're gonna be successful in kingdom business, you're gonna have to do something about your words.

  283. A work in both directions.

  284. Right, I said they work in both directions.

  285. I mean you've heard people say well, that's just karma.

  286. You know, that's just another word.

  287. You know he's reaping.

  288. They all believe it.

  289. The whole world out there believes in reaping what you sow.

  290. But they go in the negative side and they get the negative side all the time.

  291. But no, we can turn it around and sow the word of God in our heart.

  292. We can say what the word says we have, lord of God.

  293. Then we can get what the word says we have All right.

  294. So when the seed is planted, I'm gonna say word now, because word and seed are interchangeable.

  295. I want you to see that.

  296. Now you pick up a seed, what do you look at?

  297. It's just a little, just humble, but there's something inside it.

  298. It's waiting to come out, isn't it?

  299. What has to happen to that seed?

  300. It's not gonna do anything in the bag.

  301. It's gonna sit there in the bag and rot.

  302. What has to happen?

  303. It has to be planted in soil.

  304. The soil has got to have some kind of residual moisture.

  305. It's gotta be enough moisture in the soil for the seed to then germinate.

  306. And when the seed germinates, something happens in that seed that you can't see.

  307. You're not able to see it because it's down below the ground.

  308. But it shoots roots downward and a little shoot comes popping up and eventually it pops up right through the surface and all of a sudden you see this little green something sticking out.

  309. Day by day, by day, they say, you know, in some parts of the country like Iowa and places like you know, you can hear the corn grow.

  310. I've never I can't prove it because I've never done that I'm usually so impatient.

  311. I cut the corn off and chuck it and it's not ready for me to eat yet.

  312. I love corn on the cob.

  313. I won't go into my garden story.

  314. All right, I think I flunk gardening.

  315. I don't talk to my plants enough.

  316. Now did you talk to your?

  317. You can talk to your flowers.

  318. Well, talk to your, talk to your trouble, talk to your body, all right.

  319. So when the seed is planted, or when the word is planted, it is not seen.

  320. But the things that are seen takes its time.

  321. The things that are seen takes its origin from the unseen.

  322. The unseen is what you planted.

  323. You haven't seen it yet, you haven't seen a thing, but you planted it.

  324. And then you go and went back and you set it again.

  325. And then you went back and you set it again and you watered the seed that you planted, and then you planted more seed and then you watered it again and then you watered again by stripes, I was healed, thank God.

  326. By stripes I was healed.

  327. I himself took my sicknesses and carried my infirmities.

  328. Hallelujah, I'm healed.

  329. Thank you, jesus.

  330. Were the symptoms raging in your body.

  331. You're saying that day and night, night and day.

  332. Where is that word going?

  333. It's going down in your heart.

  334. I think about.

  335. Lillian Yeomans was a doctor, medical doctor that Brother Hagan got acquainted with.

  336. She was back in the 20s and 30s.

  337. She was a whiz and just in demand.

  338. Her medical practice was growing and she got hooked on drugs because she just, you know, she just had to have uppers to kind of keep her going.

  339. She had so many patients, there was such demands on her practice and I mean she got so sick because she was addicted to drugs.

  340. They almost killed her and she got a hold of divine healing and got healed and then she got saved.

  341. After she got healed and God gave her a healing ministry and her and her sister opened a home in Southern California.

  342. They had a big home and they could take terminal tuberculosis patients.

  343. Back in the 20s and 30s, tuberculosis there was a huge outbreak in this country.

  344. We've eradicated it until recently.

  345. Now we're bringing it across the border.

  346. We're importing tuberculosis again.

  347. We're importing all the diseases that we had conquered Polio's coming across the border.

  348. Anyway, I digress, but he, they had this place and they would took, took only the worst cases and and they would bring them in and put them in a bedroom up there and they had this system that they used of the word of God.

  349. So they brought this lady in.

  350. She was just near death later in the bed upstairs and Dr Yeoman sat by our bedside, read her the Bible a couple of hours one afternoon.

  351. She got there that morning.

  352. She ate lunch and then she read her the Bible a couple of hours and she says okay, darling, I'm going to leave now.

  353. I want you to just lay there and just just say this over and over.

  354. Just say this over and over Themself bear my sicknesses and took my infirmities.

  355. Therefore, I no longer have tuberculosis, I'm completely healed.

  356. And I want you to just lay there and say that over and over again.

  357. Matthew 8 17.

  358. Say that over and over and over again.

  359. And so she went and checked on her you know about bedtime and she said have you been saying it?

  360. She said I haven't stopped saying it, but I don't feel a thing.

  361. I have nothing.

  362. You know, I'm saying it, that's all right.

  363. You don't be bothered about that.

  364. Just keep on saying it and you just go to bed.

  365. If you wake up in the night, just say it every time you're awake.

  366. It's amazing to me when I was reading this story how, how obedient this lady was.

  367. I guess when people really get desperate they'll do whatever it takes, but anyway, she did it.

  368. Work up the next morning.

  369. Have you been saying, yeah, I've been saying it all night long.

  370. I woke up, I said it all night long.

  371. I didn't sleep very much, but I haven't felt a thing.

  372. I don't worry about that, just eat your breakfast.

  373. Read her a Bible a couple more hours, and so all that day was you know so?

  374. Then the next day, which would have been really the third day, before breakfast they heard all this rustling and hollering and everything.

  375. And this lady is coming busting down the stairs.

  376. Do you know what?

  377. Himself bore my sickness and took my infirmities.

  378. I'm completely healed.

  379. I mean, she was completely healed.

  380. She didn't really believe it at first.

  381. It's the thing about the word.

  382. You might not even really be able to mix faith with what you're saying right at first, because you know it just seems too fantastic, it just seems like it's pie in the sky.

  383. But keep saying it.

  384. Because, why?

  385. Because it's the word, and the word is supernatural and it will produce, and eventually, I mean just something happens inside of you.

  386. You, you're the best preacher you'll ever hear.

  387. You know you.

  388. You can get something out of my preaching.

  389. But you'll get a lot more out of your preaching when you begin, when you see you are a spirit, when your spirit hears you speak the word.

  390. I mean that's when faith starts to grow.

  391. Come on, lift your hand right now, go over the car, build your world with your words.

  392. You don't like your world.

  393. Build something better.

  394. Check up on what you've been saying.

  395. Amen.

  396. If what you desire is not in your spirit, you're not going to have it.

  397. You can have, you can desire something up here.

  398. You know it gets back to that word crave.

  399. You know, ask.

  400. You ask what you will, and it shall be done under you.

  401. The word ask, one of the one of the definitions of ask, is crave.

  402. Talked about craving.

  403. See, your spirit has the has a a part of it.

  404. When God wants you to have something, when your spirit desire, desire, it's on a whole different level than your emotional desire.

  405. Those desires of the flesh are, are, are powerful, all right.

  406. They can be destructive, all right.

  407. But guess what A desire that your spirit has, that God gave it, I'm telling you, it rises up there, way above there.

  408. You give your spirit a chance to get the word into it.

  409. If it's not in your, if what you desire is not in your spirit, you won't have it All right.

  410. So here let's look at Mark, chapter four again.

  411. So the sower sows the word, and then he, he, he said you know, there's four kinds of dirt.

  412. You know, some people are they sow the word on the wayside, by the wayside.

  413. It's going to be like sowing, sowing seed down in this carpet.

  414. It's not going to grow.

  415. What's going to happen?

  416. Well, if you've got any birds in here, they'll eat it.

  417. Parakeet gets out of the cage, you'll eat the.

  418. He'll be to see you sow it out, throw it out on the ground, the birds will eat it.

  419. I mean, that's they, man, they, they.

  420. So what happens to the?

  421. To?

  422. The seed is gone.

  423. And so what happens to your crop?

  424. You've got a crop failure.

  425. You don't have any results, zero results, because the ground was not prepared.

  426. And then the second kind you know, everybody say stolen word.

  427. See that, you know, you, you, you, you sowed the word.

  428. Every one of these sowed the word.

  429. Right say every one of these cases.

  430. Four, four cases, four cases.

  431. All four of them sowed the word.

  432. But what happened to the first one?

  433. Well, they quit having a systematic discourse.

  434. They just they weren't really prepared to go all the way with it and they just said it for a little while and it wasn't, it didn't ever get down in their spirit.

  435. And so then the devil stole it and they just forgot all about it.

  436. And so there's no crop, everybody say the stolen word.

  437. And the second one is the scorched word.

  438. In that case they sowed the word and it sprung up.

  439. It sprung up, but when the heat of circumstances started shining down, the heat of persecution started shining down on it.

  440. Jesus said it this way.

  441. He said when the affliction or persecution arises, for the word's sake, you know, when you're taking a faith stand, the devil will try everything he can to get you off of your faith stand.

  442. And so that's why sometimes, when people start to believe for their healing symptoms get worse.

  443. When people start to believe for their finances to turn around, they get more broke than they are already.

  444. I mean, the devil will attack you.

  445. He will try to move you off of your faith and interrupt your systematic discourse.

  446. So what happened was, you know, the sun comes out, the heat comes out, the heat of circumstances, the heat of contrary people around you saying all that isn't gonna work.

  447. You know, blah, blah, blah.

  448. Your relatives, your friends and all your quote, unquote friends.

  449. I mean it's important to have good friends, surround yourself with people that believe like you do.

  450. And so then you have the scorched word.

  451. I mean it, just the plant just withers, and you have what?

  452. Zero crop, you have a crop failure.

  453. And then it goes down and said now there's another one that says that these are they which are sown among thorns, such as here, the word.

  454. See, they sowed the word, they got a systematic discourse, but again their soil is such that they have thorns.

  455. What are thorns?

  456. He tells you what they are the cares of this world of deceitfulness, riches, the lust of other things entering in and it choke at the word or strangles the word.

  457. Stolen, scorched and strangled.

  458. It strangles the word and it become unfruitful, which tells me that at first you have a little bit of improvement, at first you start to see some results, but you don't hang with it again.

  459. These other things enter into what your spirit, in other words, I just people.

  460. Sometimes they just lose their focus, they lose their concentration on what it is they're believing for and they start trying to go for all these other things, the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, the lust of other things.

  461. You know, sometimes people get a moderately successful and that success makes them lazy.

  462. They just want to go on a spiritual vacation.

  463. Oh, I've got this covered now.

  464. Everything's good, everything's just everything.

  465. Yeah, listen, you don't take vacation from the Holy Ghost.

  466. You don't need a vacation from prayer, you don't need a vacation from the Bible.

  467. Are y'all with me now?

  468. So you have the stolen word everybody say stolen word the scorched word, the strangled word.

  469. It strangles the word.

  470. It's beginning to bring forth fruit, but then it strangled.

  471. And now you have another crop failure.

  472. And then the last one.

  473. He says these are the verse 20 that are sown on good ground.

  474. So your heart is prepared.

  475. You've got a prayer life from one thing you hold yourself accountable.

  476. You're walking in love.

  477. You're walking in a close with the Lord.

  478. You're not half backslid out here, just doing stuff out here outside and just making a pretend life or a double life.

  479. No, no, you're dedicated to Him.

  480. These are they which are sown on good ground, such as hear the Word and receive it and bring forth fruit, some 30, some 60, some 100 fold.

  481. Luke says, in an honest and a good heart, spirit by spirit.

  482. I'm a new creature, I have a, yeah, but you know what?

  483. I'm gonna deal with this in a minute.

  484. But you know, some people are just not quite as honest as they need to be.

  485. I mean just, you gotta stamp out all dishonesty, you gotta.

  486. You know, amen, we deal with that point here in a minute.

  487. But you know, the honest and a good heart, where is your heart?

  488. It's your spirit, and that's where everything happens.

  489. In your spirit is where all the blessings are brought forth, because if it isn't in your spirit, you're not gonna see it.

  490. It's in your spirit.

  491. By say it's in my spirit, all right.

  492. So build your world with your words.

  493. Number one I've got three things to leave with you today.

  494. Number one be a person of your word.

  495. Be a person of your word.

  496. In other words, numbers 2319.

  497. Talking about God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent.

  498. If he said it, he'll do it.

  499. If he spoke it, it'll make it good.

  500. That's the way you ought to be.

  501. If you say you're gonna do something, you do it.

  502. You make it good.

  503. I went kind of bananas back in the 80s when I borrowed money and I couldn't pay it back.

  504. And you know, when you sign a for a loan, you agree to the conditions.

  505. The borrower is servant to the lender.

  506. Whatever you sign up for, that's what they can come back and take if you don't pay them their full amount of money back.

  507. And so I had already signed this agreement and I couldn't pay them.

  508. And I went to them to tell them.

  509. I said look, I've reached the end of my rope.

  510. I have been taking a salary now for six months.

  511. I've run out of personal funds.

  512. I don't have any money in the company.

  513. I can't pay any interest.

  514. So you just tell me what you wanna do.

  515. You wanna take these $1.4 million worth of houses back.

  516. Would you like to foreclose on the loans and take these houses back, cause I can't do another thing for them.

  517. They're basically fairly finished.

  518. They're not totally.

  519. They're finished as far as I usually finish them.

  520. For instance, I don't usually put in all the carpet and the wallpaper.

  521. I usually get it to a place where people can pick their own and I usually don't landscape and grasp the yards.

  522. But other than that, everything's finished.

  523. And so they decided no, we're gonna loan you more money, you're gonna sign another agreement.

  524. The bar servant to the lender say I should have walked away.

  525. I would already signed everything I should have signed.

  526. So they're wanting to obligate me even further.

  527. But I was driven by this idea that, you know, I just look, I wanna be like my father.

  528. Well, I'd already done that.

  529. I'd already met the conditions of these verses.

  530. See, don't be a fool, they're gonna bleed you dry.

  531. They bled me dry.

  532. They took, they tied me up in knots where I couldn't survive it, 10 years to dig my way out of the hole that that bank took advantage of.

  533. Are you with me now?

  534. Yeah, but you know what my heart is to do, what I say.

  535. If I shake your hand, if I sign my name to something, I'm gonna do what I say I'm gonna do.

  536. Generally speaking, that's what you ought to do Something.

  537. 15, four swear to your own hurt and change not.

  538. Are you getting this now?

  539. So be a person of your word.

  540. Why?

  541. Because if you're not, if you're deceptive, if you can't be dependent upon you know, my dad just had this thing that, like a lot of men in his generation, my word is my bond.

  542. He told me that when I was 13 years old my word's my bond.

  543. You shake my hand, that's it.

  544. I don't need a contract.

  545. Nowadays you kind of have to have a contract and the contract a lot of times not even worth the paper it's printed on.

  546. But that's not how we ought to be.

  547. We ought to be people of our word.

  548. Why?

  549. Because if you're not, then you're.

  550. It's gonna leak in there, it's gonna spoil your ability to really trust God and take him at his word.

  551. Number two be a person of the word, the word of God.

  552. In other words, give it first priority.

  553. I say this read the Bible, read your Bible, meditate on it.

  554. What does it mean to meditate?

  555. It just means to think about it, turn it about, repeat it.

  556. I don't mean memorize it.

  557. When I speak a series of scriptures out of my mouth, it's not because I sat down and tried to memorize it, it's because I have meditated on it.

  558. I have read it so many times.

  559. It's in there and it comes out.

  560. It's not a memory thing at all, it's a spirit thing.

  561. And when you get that familiar, I mean we need to be people of the word, of our word, of the word.

  562. Be people of the word so that when things happen, circumstances occur, attacks in your finances, attacks in your home, your children, your marriage, your health, whatever that attack is find out what the word of God says.

  563. Well, guess what?

  564. If you've really been reading the Bible, like you should, you'll already kind of know what the Bible says about that situation.

  565. Anyway, doesn't take you very long to know, because it's what you've been doing.

  566. You've been gathering up the logos, you've been reading the logos and storing the logos up in your heart.

  567. And when things start coming at you all of a sudden, now you know, I'm telling you there's gonna come a rainbow word out of that group of logos where you can take the sword of the spirit and stick the devil right In the heart, you know, go through in the epistles and underlight in Christ.

  568. In whom?

  569. In him?

  570. Because that's you.

  571. I had somebody on Facebook the other day, you know, because we posted something about.

  572. You know, all the Bible is for us, but it's not to us, and they didn't understand that.

  573. So I answered you know best I could.

  574. I mean, it's a Facebook.

  575. You know I can't preach a whole message.

  576. I want to.

  577. I want to preach a whole message to these people because they just don't know anything.

  578. They don't know what I know.

  579. They haven't sat in a church like I've sat.

  580. They haven't heard the kind of teaching and preaching I've had, and my heart goes out to them.

  581. But the Old Testament is for us, but it's not to us.

  582. It's not written to us.

  583. That doesn't mean that God can't use it for your benefit, but just when you're reading it, always read your Old Testament with New Testament eyes, but spend your time meditating on in whom?

  584. In Christ, through Christ, with Christ.

  585. That's who you know.

  586. Brother Osteen just did it this way.

  587. We'd have a I don't know how many thousand services.

  588. I was there 15 years.

  589. Every service, every service, we had the same confession.

  590. I'd break it up a little bit, but he would have the same confession.

  591. When he you know he would he would say okay, everybody, hold up your Bible.

  592. This is my Bible.

  593. I am what it says I am.

  594. I have what it says I have.

  595. I can do what it says I can.

  596. I'm a can do person.

  597. I can do what it says I can do.

  598. Say you say that over and over and over and over.

  599. Until this is my identity, I don't look to the world and worry about what they think of me.

  600. If somebody calls me a renegade pastor, it doesn't bother them.

  601. In fact, it's kind of a badge of honor, I guess, because I'm identified, I'm in Christ.

  602. He and I are one.

  603. Are y'all with me now?

  604. So be a person of the word and then finally be a person of prayer, which we're gonna reemphasize it, because prayer is the cornerstone of your faith.

  605. It's not how you get faith, but it's put you in position to hear and faith coming by hearing and hearing, hearing and hearing and hearing.

  606. You know that woman that had the tuberculosis, that sat up there and that was pretty fast.

  607. That's pretty fast results.

  608. That's unusual to be terminal and in three days you get your healing, but it happened.

  609. And so, see, we don't know how long it's gonna take.

  610. The Bible says there's seed time.

  611. You plant the seed and you sleep and rise night and day, and the seeds should spring up.

  612. You know, it's not how first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn.

  613. So there's always a time between the amen and the.

  614. There it is, and so if you'll just absolutely refuse to quit, that's part of the great victory that you have when you start building your world with words.

  615. Come on, lift your hands and receive.

  616. Today, everybody say I'm building my world with my words and my words are the word of God.

  617. You get anything out of this today, come on, lift your hands and receive Glory to God.

  618. Thank you, lord.
