Defeating Deception

Take our Bibles and lift them up and wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.

Why don't you do that with us?

And let's just say this together Say Heavenly Father, I'm so glad for the Word of God.

I'm a Word person, I thirst after the truth of the Word and I thank you for the Spirit of truth.

The Holy Ghost and I know the Word and the Spirit working together will keep me lined up with God.

Keep me lined up in the truth, out of deception.

In Jesus' name, amen, you can be seated.

Praise God.

Let's turn in our Bibles, please.

We've got a couple of places 2 Thessalonians, 2.

And Thessalonians are end time books.

The reason I say that is because Paul tells about the rapture in chapter four of the first letter and then he comes back and revisits the church because they got kind of off base.

They had people, you know, like we do today, that don't have any revelation and they try to change your.

You know, like we do today, that don't have any revelation and they try to change the language.

You know, have you noticed?

They try to change the language of English language, change it into a whole different thing.

So they had the same thing.

It's nothing new.

The devil doesn't have any new tricks.

2 Thessalonians 2, and it's going to take a few verses.

Let's just bear with me Verse 1,.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

How many of you know he's coming?

He is coming, he's coming for the church and then, seven years later, he's coming with the church.

Yes, I'm a pre-tribulation rapture believer.

I heard a guy on the radio the other day that believes it's going to happen after the church will be raptured, after the tribulation.

I wonder what's the point After the bride of Christ has been drug through all of the stuff in the book of Revelation.

It's stupid.

I mean, I don't understand that point of view at all.

It's usually people who have no revelation of the word of faith and of the authority of the believer.

I want to get this alive in you today, and he's having to correct this.

He said I want to encourage you by the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, by gathering together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit or by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

It's not happening tomorrow.

I didn't say that.

What I said in chapter four of first letter, for you to be worried about it every moment.

It can't happen.

Let no man deceive you by any means that that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, apostasia.

We're living in those days.

It's been happening a while.

The church has gotten away from the word of God and so has the country.

The country has departed.

We used to teach the Bible in class until just very recently in our history, and the left wing has driven God out of everything.

Except there come a falling away, an apostasy of first, and that man of sin be revealed.

The son of perdition he's going to be.

The Antichrist is going to be revealed.

Say after that, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he is, as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Well, guess what?

There's not even a temple.

So it's not tomorrow that he's talking about, but it's soon.

This is 2000 years ago.

We have come a long way since this was written.

Remember you not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things, and now you know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Now that's kind of cloudy.

Let me just tell you what it means.

Now you know that what withholdeth, what restraineth?

There is an entity on the earth that restrains the rising up of the Antichrist and the Antichrist spirit that's already at work.

John said there are many Antichrists in the world.

So he, you know.

We talk about the Antichrist.

Well, we, he's not here yet.

He might be alive somewhere, but he's not revealed why.

Because the church is holding him back.

The church is restraining him more, more specifically, the Holy Ghost in the church.

But the Holy Ghost doesn't work by himself.

He works through the church.

If the church does nothing, the Holy Ghost doesn't restrain.

And now you know what withholdeth?

That he might be revealed in his time, for the mystery of iniquity does already work.

In other words, his spirit's already working, even 2,000 years ago.

Only he who now letteth will let.

The word let means restrain, same as withhold.

It means to restrain.

He that now restrains will restrain until he be taken out of the way.

Who's going to be taken out of the way?

The church, church is going to be raptured.

Once we're gone, the Antichrist will rise up.

Don't let anybody say that so-and-so is the Antichrist.

Obama, I heard Obama's the Antichrist?

No, he's not, he doesn't qualify.

And then that shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and just shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

When is that coming?

When is that going to happen?

That's going to come at the second coming.

You know there's two parts to the coming of the Lord the coming of the Lord for the church and then, seven years later, the coming of the Lord with the church, and that's when the Antichrist is going to get destroyed, that's when Satan is going to be thrown into the bottomless pit.

Even him who's coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness.

And them that Everybody shout deception, that they all might be damned, who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness, everybody shout deception.

You know, the devil is a liar and the father of lies, and so this whole spirit of Antichrist is a lying spirit.

It's deception.

All right, and now let's turn in our Bibles to 2 Corinthians, chapter 4.

He's talking about this mystery of iniquity, another word for the God of this age.

Paul is writing about it to the Corinthian church and he says in verse 3, but if our gospel be hid, it is hid unto them that are lost.

In whom?

The God of this world?

Yeah, that's Satan.

Well, yeah, it is Satan, but it's more than just Satan.

I'm going to tell you what the linguistic key to the Greek New Testament says about it, because in the Greek it's more expanded than just Satan.

Yes, satan's a liar, satan's a deceiver, but the God of this age has blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine in unto them.

See, if your relatives are unsaved, it's because the God of this age has blinded their minds.

Well, you don't have to put up with that.

You can rise up in authority and bind that spirit that's blinding the minds of your loved one and loose them to receive and pray the Lord of the harvest, to send laborers in their path.

Everybody say the God of this age.

Well, who is the God of this age?

Well, this is what the linguistic key See.

I'm not a Greek scholar, but I do know how to read books that tell me about who it is.

It's all that floating mass.

Well, I lost my notes.

How about that?

All that floating mass of opinions and maxims and sayings and hopes and aspirations I'm just by memory now that are at any time current in the world?

So you know what does that mean?

How about green energy?

How about diversity, equity and inclusion?

That's the spirit of Antichrist, that is the God of this age.

Back a couple of years ago, when Trump was still president, we had that acceleration to come up with the virus, the shot.

You know they were trying to have the vaccine.

Well, it's not a vaccine, and that's the spirit of this age.

These are deceptions, these are lies.

Social distancing.

They finally admitted that was made up.

Somebody got in a room and said, oh, six foot is about right, three foot's too close, twelve foot's not doable.

Six foot, how about the plastic that you have to talk through to go to the store, go to the pharmacy?

See, that's all the God of this age.

And there's more serious things.

There's all kinds of serious things.

There's what we just witnessed this past week, what we've been witnessing.

So today I wanted to share a message entitled Defeating Deception.

Defeating Deception.

And you, it's easy for us to sit around and kind of complain about the Democrats, complain about inflation, complain about what they're doing and feel helpless and feel like, you know, even if I vote they cheat, I vote they cheat and and even if we sue, we get a judge like uh, we just saw one of the commentators on CNN said he was developing a man crush on Merchan Double gag.

I mean that guy's the most, first of all being stupid and second of all, just having no legal knowledge that he applied.

I mean he just put his thumb on the scale and ruled for the prosecution and against the defense and did everything he could to bring forth this Soviet-style sham masquerading as a trial.

So this is an encouragement today, not a downer, and I want to.

I want to place you in a place of, or put you at a place and, and and empower you to rise up and take our place of rightful authority, because we do have authority over this spirit that's ruling our country right now.

We do have authority over it, and I'm thinking about the deception.

You know there's a war.

How many of you sense that there is a war?

I'm not talking about civil war.

I'm talking about a war in the heavens.

I'm talking about a war in the spirit realm, because Satan knows his time is short and you can sense that with the left wing and how panicked they are and they have pulled out all the stops not just to put this guy and you know they're quoting, you know convicted Donald Trump, convicted felon See, that's not going to matter.

They can say that a million times.

You know what is that?

That is also a psyops.

That is that's.

You know, if they say it a million times now, november the 5th, there's a certain number of people that are going to believe that you and I are not among those.

Why?

Because we love the truth and we're going to stick with the truth.

Convicted felon, he would convict.

You know, he's not really.

He may have been, but it's illegitimate.

Hitler had convicted felons that he would take out and shoot.

They had a fake trial.

I mean, stalin did the same thing.

The USSR was famous for their fake trials.

Every tin pot dictator has a fake trial just to act like that.

They've got a system of justice when there isn't one and you know we've let the.

When I say we've let, I'm going to make a case that the church is culpable, because we, you know, we have this power and we haven't used it.

I want to talk about it today because we're going to use it even more and more Now this church.

When I say the church, I'm not talking about us necessarily, but I'm talking about the church, the gathering of born-again Christians.

You know, across the country they're beginning to wake up.

Things are changing.

It's up to us now, because we've been on the forefront of this for 25 years.

That's how long ago God told me to wake up the church.

March of 1999, told me, gave me a mandate wake up the church, not just the Word of Faith churches, not just the charismatic churches, not just the Pentecostal churches.

The church and I mean God has opened doors right now that are astounding me, and I don't know why.

It's astounding me because this is what we've been praying for and preparing for and obeying God for all along.

Amen.

But anyway, this week here some of you might know this, but I'm a student of World War II, I like to study it, I like to know about it and of course, this week, on Thursday, is the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion and the official name was Operation Overlord, but the GIs and most everybody called it D-Day and the reason they said D-Day.

I looked it up, I didn't understand where it got the letter D.

Why the letter D?

D-day?

But they didn't know what the date was, so they just plugged in an alphabet there.

And so then, whenever you have the history of the Normandy invasion, operation overlord, which the allies notice, the allies, they keep talking about the allies, but the ones that died the most were the Americans.

I'll just make that point England, england, make that point France.

That generation was more grateful than these dead beach.

Now they're not very grateful to this country of the treasure that we and the blood that we shed out there on the Omaha beach.

It was the worst beach of the four, but the allies get all the credit.

Anyway, I digress, but D-Day, how did it get D-Day?

You know, I kind of think it's because of the deception.

You know, in warfare you have to have deception.

You can't just say, okay, we're going to be attacking you on December, the 7th 1941.

Do all you can to get prepared.

No, the Japs came to us and we weren't prepared and they killed 2,800 of our guys and sunk a bunch of our ships and decimated, you know, hawaii.

And they made a huge mistake.

They should have captured Hawaii.

They should have come right back, invaded Hawaii.

They would have taken Hawaii, then they would have had a base where they could have taken their planes off and bombed the West Coast.

Why didn't they Prayer?

Somebody was praying.

But anyway, getting back to D-Day, they had constructed a fake army.

They had inflatable tanks made out of balloons, they had, you know, airplanes out of plywood, they had this massive and of course they already had a million troops, you know massed in England.

So they couldn't hide that.

And there was no question that Hitler knew there was going to be a European invasion in France.

He knew that, he just didn't know where.

And so we, the allies, america essentially constructed this ruse, that.

And they brought George Patton.

See, george Patton was not politically correct, he spoke too freely, he wasn't mushy-mouthed like Dwight D Eisenhower and I'm not a big fan, by the way, and you know I mean, yeah, he was a great general, but I mean he was a compromiser.

So was FDR.

They gave Russia all the power that they got.

They came out of World War II a superpower.

They shouldn't have been that way.

We didn't need them, we had God, we had God.

We didn't need the communists.

But oh no, they had to do that and they propped them up.

But anyway.

Getting back to Patton the bestie, hitler was convinced that Patton was going to lead the invasion and it was going to come at the closest place, the Pas de Calais, which is the shortest distance across the English Channel between England and France.

And so we played them, we deceived them.

When you read your Bible, you see how Joshua would deceive the men at Ai.

He came at two directions.

You see how David deceived, you see, and God will show you how to win a battle, and it always involves deception.

And I'm telling you the devil.

We're in a war.

We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this present age.

They are using a massive amount of deception right now, and the church has been so deceived for so long, just sitting on the sidelines, twiddling our thumbs, wringing our hands, complaining about everything and praying for God to do something.

Oh, let's pray.

2 Chronicles 7, 14.

Let's humble ourselves and pray and ask God to heal our land.

Well, you're just.

That's a vain prayer.

It has nothing to do with what we need to do.

We need to do something.

I'm not talking about guns.

I'm talking about we have to use our voices.

We have to use our it's boots on the ground.

Folks, if you didn't like what just happened, you're gonna have to be willing to let your boots move.

You're going to have to move and do something.

It's more than prayer.

Prayer is essential, but it's not the only thing we have to do.

Faith without corresponding action is what Dead.

We can't just ask God, ask God, ask God.

God's not going to do anything.

He sent Jesus Amen and he gave the church authority.

So everybody say deception.

So deception is growing and people have deceived themselves because they've ceased to be doers of the word.

They've been hearers only and sometimes they don't even hear the word.

They hear a bunch of baloney.

Man's ideas, man's traditions Talk about deceived.

But that's changing.

I said that's changing.

So here we read in 2 Thessalonians that the church filled with the Holy Ghost.

Now the Holy Ghost, it says he.

So it's talking about the Holy Ghost, but the Holy Ghost is in the church, it says he.

So it's talking about the Holy Ghost, but the Holy Ghost is in the church.

So really you can't separate the Holy Ghost from the church as being the restraining power.

The church has something to do with restraining the spirit of this age, the God of this age.

The church has everything to do with restraining the spirit of Antichrist that's working through the Democrats and Joe Biden and this illegitimate regime.

It's a crime.

Family folks, we're the restraining power.

Let's look at Matthew 16.

Now Jesus is speaking to the disciples and he's asking them you know, who do men say that I am?

Well, some say that you're John the Baptist.

Some say you're that prophet.

Well, who do you say I am?

And Peter?

You know, peter was real bold.

He said thou art the Christ, the son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said verse 16, or verse 17, blessed art thou, simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this unto thee, but my Father, which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter, little stone.

His name means little stone, but upon this great rock that word rock is great stone.

What great rock, peter.

No Revelation, knowledge.

The Catholics say that this is the Pope.

That's what they quote when they justify having a Pope.

These verses it had nothing to do with a Pope.

We don't have a Pope?

Oh, we have one, but he's not a Pope.

These verses it had nothing to do with a Pope.

We don't have a Pope.

Oh, we have one, but he's not my Pope.

Talk about deception, man.

If I was Catholic I would flee.

Anyway, we're, we're coming up beside a lot of Catholics right now, and boy they're open to what we're saying.

I hope they're open enough to get out of that dead religion.

Thou art Peter.

Upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in the heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in the heaven.

Look at how it's all tied together with revelation and how the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This is a Christian nation and as the church goes, the nation goes.

Like it or not, we have two different judgments, because God judges nations strictly on how they treat Israel.

That ought to give you a whole lot of pause right now.

You want to know why all this weather is screwed up.

You want to know why all these things are happening.

The inflation is off the charts.

And the economy?

They keep talking about how good the economy, what good the only good economy is for the people that are cheating.

People in government have only good economy is for the people that are cheating.

People in government have a good economy.

They have a good retirement plan.

I say let's retire them and cut their retirement funds off anyway.

So notice how this is all put together.

The keys I gave you the keys.

You know.

Jesus appeared to Paul I mean to John on the Isle of Pot.

Most years, decades after this, paul's, peter's, get it right.

John is an old man and and Jesus appeared to him, his glorious appearing, his beard as bright as hair, shining, his clothes are glistening brighter than the sun.

And he said I am he that liveth and I was dead.

But behold, I am alive forevermore and I have the keys, the keys of hell and of death.

Keys are a symbol of authority.

So recently I lost my keys, my regular keys.

I have a key chain.

I put it in my bright pocket.

I had to change things up a few years ago and I bought this little metal wallet, you know, and it slides my cards out.

I get I've got a little cash right here, but I don't have a bunch of cash.

I used to have a wallet and it had a bunch of cash and a bunch of cards and everything under the sun.

It was about two inches thick and I put it on my right hip and it started giving me trouble.

After you know all these years of sitting in a car, sitting at the office and something, I started having trouble with my hip and my back and I well, it's this big old rock I'm sitting on all day long.

Why don't you grow a brain and do something different?

And it's been the hardest you know to to change what I do.

I still go to my back pocket and I, oh, where's my?

Oh, that's right, it's here.

No, don't look at me like.

You're so superior, you're going to get to be 77 one day, jesus Terry's, but anyway.

So I pulled it out and my keys came with it and dropped on the floor.

It happened two or three times and I was able to find.

I went back and retraced my steps and both times, you know they they held it for me and I picked my keys up.

But you know, without keys it's kind of hard to function.

You know, come to the office.

I got to wait for somebody to see that I'm out there and let me in and everything else and don't have a key to my office, don't have a key to my drawer, my desk, and don't have a key to the cabinet.

You know stuff, and all my keys you know.

So, anyway, I got new keys.

Finally, I couldn't find the keys.

So I got new keys and I got to meditating on keys.

Keys are, you know, a symbol of authority and you know, 25 years ago God told me to wake up the church, but he didn't give me the keys.

Yet.

We've had to be faithful in praying.

We had to be faithful to show up.

We had to be faithful to just go on the strength of his word.

We had to be faithful on Thursday night prayer to process the plan of God.

We used to have Tuesday morning prayer.

They did a lot of work too in Tuesday morning prayer.

But what are you talking about?

Process the plan of God, romans 8, 26.

But the Spirit himself helpeth our infirmities, for we know not what to pray for as we are.

But the Spirit himself helpeth our infirmities.

He takes hold together with us against our infirmities.

See, so you process the plan of God.

You don't know what you don't know.

You don't know what you don't know, but he does.

He can give you a call, but you're not ready to enter into that call.

You're not.

You have to obey the call.

You have to obey the call, you have to be willing to do steps.

And so all these years I wrote a book.

Nobody cared about.

Wake up the church, rise up and reap.

I went and interviewed Brother Roberts.

I told you a little bit about that last week.

Nobody cared.

For many years I'd try to talk to preachers about what God told me with Brother Roberts, what he told me, and it was like I'm try to talk to preachers about what God told me with Brother Roberts, what he told me, and it was like I'm talking to somebody else.

Now it's a whole different story.

I mean, we have been issued new keys.

So think, think, if you work for say like maybe you work for Exxon and you've got a cubicle, you don't need a key for a cubicle, you just walk in the cubicle.

You know little thing.

You know, and about 150 of them, and you know you barely.

You can still hear everybody on the phone.

You barely have any privacy at all in your cubicle.

But one day you get promoted and you know you've got your own office.

Now they'll give you a key to your own office.

Now you've got an office key, you're going in places you've never been before.

You've got a key to go into your own private office.

You might even have a used to be a secretary, now it's an executive assistant out in front, you know, to kind of receive visitors and screen people that are coming to see you and make sure that they're there for the right reasons and whatever, and to help you do what you do.

And maybe you even got a card for the parking garage where you get entrance into your own private parking space.

See, you've got promoted and now you've got a new set of keys.

I'm telling you, glorious Way Church and my God Votes have been issued new sets of keys.

We are in places we've never been in before.

We didn't even know how to get there.

We didn't even know we were supposed to be there.

We have what Momentum.

This is the year of momentum.

It's 30 years of obedience.

It's 30 years of a series of acts that we have done.

We didn't just sit and pray only.

We've been involved.

We opened this church during COVID, told the governor and attorney general to go pound sand we're opening and sued them.

And you know, when they saw that lawsuit, they changed all of their directives into suggestions that were totally at our option.

You don't have to do any of this, which is our suggestion.

We suggest that you do this, but if you don't do it, it's up to you.

Boy, what a change.

And you know what?

There's very few churches I mean churches in Texas could have been open the whole time and very few did Talk about deceived, but it's changing.

It's changing.

Let's look at Matthew 18, a couple of pages over, just in case they missed.

Matthew 16,.

Jesus said it again.

Verse 18, matthew 18, 18.

Verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven.

What does that mean?

Whatever you stop, whatever you won't put up with, I ain't putting up with this devil.

Hang with me now.

Whatever you bind on earth or be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth, whatever you put up with, whatever you allow yes, I allow.

If you allow something that shouldn't be allowed, it's allowed.

That's where we are.

That's why we've seen what we've seen because the church allowed it.

The church didn't say no.

When Obama's Supreme Court said gay marriage, we didn't say no.

And look what we've done since gay marriage in 2014.

It's just, it's every limit is off.

Now we've got crazy people running around Men and women's bathrooms, men and girls, locker rooms, competing in high school, and all the way down they're taking over, because what we haven't said no, have you noticed?

Nobody wants to say no.

People want to get along.

You know what?

We're going to have?

To get tougher skin.

Well, we can't legislate morality.

Oh, yes, we can.

The lack of morality is being legislated.

Are we going to sit around and let that happen?

No, we're not going to let it happen.

We're going to legislate the Bible.

We're going to legislate it.

We're going to make sure it's law, because that's how this country started.

It didn't start with a bunch of people going around cross-dressing.

I'm picking on that one subject.

That's just one subject.

There's a whole lot of subjects, All right.

So notice how he said verse 19,.

Again, I say unto you if two of you shall agree, on earth is touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done of them, of my Father, which is in heaven.

So that's a prayer of agreement and that's good enough.

But that's not really all that means.

It's really tied to binding and loosing.

It's tied to the church, where the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And when we get together, notice the next verse, for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I, in the midst of them.

So when this church gathers together and begins to make declarations against this stuff that's going on, let me tell you that's agreement.

It's not a prayer, it's a demand.

We're not praying for God to do anything.

We're demanding the devil to stop what he's doing.

We're loosing the angels to go and cause it to happen.

What do you do with a bully?

You have a bully that's dogging your tracks.

I was in high school one time and there was this guy that just thought he was such tough stuff and I don't know what mirror he looked in.

I think he had one of those mirrors that makes you look bigger, you know, because he wasn't a very big guy, but he was just mean, always throwing his weight around, big mouth, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And he started picking on this little short guy and he was a little bit dumpy, a little bit heavy, you know, and he started picking on him and we had this bridge running between the high school and the football stadium.

So athletics, and so if you're going to athletics you have to go on this bridge, over this old, muddy-looking depression type of ditch.

They just never did fill it in.

So they had a bridge over it, wooden bridge with handrails.

And so this bully was chasing this younger guy down at this bridge and I was, a lot of people were standing around and he was hollering at him and talking trash to him and he said come on, don't you want to fight me?

Come on, come on.

And I mean the little guy planted his fist right in the nose of that bully and I mean both his hands came over his face.

Tears come down of his eyes.

He started crying and fell to his knees.

Right there, I mean, all the bully was knocked out his eyes.

He started crying and fell to his knees.

Right there, I mean, all the bully was knocked out of him.

We're going to have to hit these people right where it hurts.

We're going to have to give them a taste of their medicine.

When we get back under control and that's going to happen November the 5th we are going to get back under control of this country.

And, yes, I am in favor of Trump.

I'm praying for him.

I invite you to pray for him.

I'm not praying for Biden.

Well, why don't you pray for our president to get saved Because he's already rejected the Lord.

He's lived here all of his life and he's chosen to live a life of crime and lies and deception.

I'm not praying for him.

One second.

You go ahead.

I'm praying for Trump, but anyway, and give him some money.

Go to donjtrumpcom and give him a contribution.

They raised $53 million in less than 24 hours after that verdict, but that's not enough.

These other people they've got billionaires backing them.

I just believe, once we take over, we'll use the system of justice that we already have in place.

We have laws against what they've done.

I'm not talking about doing what they did.

What they did was invent stuff.

We don't have to invent anything.

All we have to do is go back and show what they have done to break the laws that we already have in place.

And they've all taken oaths of office to protect the country and they haven't done it.

So I'm convinced that every one of them, every one of them that participated in this charade, every one of them, the sanctuary cities, every one of them that said sanctuary, they all belong in prison.

Prison, see, let's put them in prison.

Let's ruin their lives.

Let's take all their money.

Did you remember what they did to General Flynn, a patriot, served this country loyally.

Do you remember that?

They took him down because they could.

He didn't have enough money to defend himself just because and he's a Democrat.

But he had the mistake of joining up with Trump and he was going to be Trump's whatever he appointed him to do, serving his administration.

They got him into a situation and got a hold of him and they put him in prison and Trump pardoned him.

But that's not the best thing.

I mean he should be totally exonerated.

That should be blotted out.

It was all made up.

Well, what does this have to do with revival?

I'm glad you asked.

Let me read you some stuff here.

Anybody ever heard of Charles Finney?

Charles Finney was a great revivalist, lived in the early 19th century, a great preacher and a lot of people say the second great awakening.

You had the first great awakening before the Revolutionary War.

That paved the way for pastors to recruit for the Continental Army in their church services, pastors to recruit for the Continental Army.

In their church services One pastor recruited 900 soldiers out of his church.

That's a pretty big church.

The shot that was heard around the world came from a churchyard.

So they were engaged.

Why?

Because revival had brought light and revelation of this nation's purpose and they declared that George was a despot and did not need to be obeyed and rather needed to be overthrown.

And they defeated the greatest military might of that day.

I mean, there was no way they did it without God.

There's one miracle after another after another.

So then go past that into the early 19th century, 1820, 1830,.

Like all revivals, they start to wane, they start to go down.

So God's got to get another revival going.

And he did the second great awakening, and Charles Finney was one of the leading ones, and he did a whole series of messages on what the church does to hinder revival.

And some of the main things that they do to hinder revival is to refuse to get involved in politics.

This is 1830s, folks.

We've let this slip the board of demons.

Don't know about Charles Finney.

So here he says here God cannot sustain this free and blessed country which we love and pray for, unless the church will take right ground.

Politics are part of religion.

In such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as a part of their duty to God.

It seems sometimes as if the foundations of the nations were becoming rotten and Christians seem to act as if they thought God did not see what they do in politics.

But I tell you, he does see it and he will bless or curse this nation according to the course they take.

So the church has got a lot to do with the trouble that we're seeing.

In fact, the church has everything to do with it.

We can blame the Democrats, we can blame the godless society, the ones that have been deceived by the God of this age.

They can't hear the gospel because of the God of this age.

Well, why don't we bind and we're supposed to restrain the God of this age?

We're supposed to preach the Word, we're supposed to preach the gospel with demonstration, with signs, wonders and miracles, and we haven't done it.

Now then, in the 20th century, god brought another revival, brought back the gifts of the Spirit, brought back miracles, brought back all of these things, and we still haven't gotten involved in politics to any great degree.

In fact it's.

You know, when we first started this whole thing and people say, oh no, separation of church and state.

Well, that's a lie.

That's not in the Constitution.

There's nowhere in the Constitution, there's nowhere in the Bible.

He says that the opposite, he was an abolitionist, he came against slavery and because of what he said about slavery, the church became alive of the sin of slavery and began to see how inconsistent slavery was with our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

All men are created equal.

Well, if that's true, why do we have slaves?

And so you know he was an abolitionist.

He was on the Underground Railroad.

He helped get slaves out of slavery.

I mean, you know, slavery in his day was like abortion in our day.

You've got people in the Republican Party.

They want to sweep abortion and all that under the rug.

Oh no, we don't want to talk about abortion.

That's going to cost us votes.

No, I'm telling you you're wrong.

And see, they got driven out.

All the mushy moderates got driven out of Texas in the Texas Republican Party last week.

I mean, none of them won, none of them won.

We've got some really top-notch conservative Christians, grassroots.

Now we have an opportunity.

What I'm trying to tell you?

We have an opportunity right now to change everything.

Jesus changes everything, but how does he change it?

Through the church, jesus.

You change everything through the church.

Jesus is not coming down here.

He's not going to do one more thing.

What else could he do?

He hung on the cross.

He shed his blood.

What else is he going to do?

He's given us the keys.

If we don't take the keys and use them.

I could read more, but I won't take the time.

Um so, no more of this.

God is control business.

That's what.

That's what Christians say all the time.

Well, you know, I know this is terrible.

God's in control?

No, he's not.

He gave us authority.

We're the ones that have something to do about it and say about it.

And if we don't, he won't.

If we don't do anything, the Holy ghost don't help us.

We have to be engaged in something.

I was preaching along this lines years ago and James came to me and said you know I don't want to do this, but I think I'm supposed to be a precinct chair in my neighborhood.

And so he volunteered and he became the precinct chair and the next thing, you know, he's the seventh senatorial district chair of the Republican Party.

And let me just tell you who has held that position before him, and that was George HW Bush was the well, he was actually the chairman of the Republican Party.

He was a higher place, but our lieutenant governor, dan Patrick, was the seventh senatorial district chair.

It is a very, very influential office.

Well, that's politics, yeah, but it's ministry.

We're spreading the gospel.

He's spreading the gospel.

We had a forum up here for five candidates running for the state party chair of the state Republican Party.

Listen, the Republican Party in Texas is looked at by all 50 other states.

As it goes, we are the Lone Star State.

We have a headship gift.

America has a headship gift in the world.

Texas has a headship gift in the states.

What I'm saying is our footprint.

You know.

We got this in prayer on the greatest year yet.

Remember.

Greatest year yet 2020.

God said greatest year yet 2020.

What is 2020?

That was the year of COVID.

That was the year when the church shut down, but that's the year this church exploded.

That's the year that all these doors started flying open in this church.

That's the year that God began to answer our cries.

All these years that we've been having about waking up the church.

We came on the forefront.

That's where you are.

You're not, we're not just by our, you're with us in this and so what he's done for my God Votes and Glorious Way Church, he has that for each of you.

So I want you to take away three things from this message, because faith without corresponding action is dead being alone.

The worst thing you can do is do nothing.

The worst thing you can do is just give up and say, well, it's just too late, the country's going to the dogs.

I hope Jesus comes tomorrow.

Well, you know he's coming and I want to be found doing what he called me to do.

And a lot of people don't understand that.

They've got a lot of work to do in the civic area, politics.

So since we did get a guy elected, he's a good Christian.

In fact, he knew Brother Osteen.

He grew up in India.

His family, brother Osteen, was preaching in his town and they came against him.

They were trying to shut the meeting down and his dad took Brother Osteen to a hotel in a different city and put him up in a hotel, and he remembers that as a child.

Abraham George is his name and he's now the state Republican Party chair, james, confronted the five candidates and says you have not had an outreach to the church.

You outreach to everybody.

You're trying to outreach to the log cabin.

You're trying to outreach to the homosexuals.

You're trying to outreach to all the mushy moderates.

You're trying to see.

I don't care what moderates do, we don't need moderates, we need the church.

So he challenged them and so then, when he won, he called James the other day, says I want you to head up our outreach to the church in the state of Texas.

I'm talking about doors opening.

I'm talking about God is opening doors like you can't believe.

He was elected to be in the electoral college.

He's going to be one of 40 electors, james.

Is you ever heard of the electoral college?

That's who actually elects the president.

It's not the popular vote doesn't elect the president, it just gives the state divisions guidance as to who they vote for.

And he's one of the 40.

In this state he had one guy that just was going up there to ask for the nomination and when he got to the microphone he yielded his nomination.

He said I'm not running, I want James to be the elector.

And he had people speak.

You're supposed to campaign for that.

He didn't campaign for it, but he had other people campaigning for him.

I'm talking about the favor.

I'm talking about the favor, I'm talking about the opportunity, I'm talking about the keys.

It's not because of him, it's because of Jesus, it's because of the anointing, it's because of 30 years of momentum.

This is the type of thing you individually have in front of you, if you will take it.

So, number one on my three lists, fear not their faces.

We have to speak up and stand up for the truth, and I say that to any pastor when are your guts?

How dare you not, how dare you not provide leadership for your church in the political area?

How dare you not register Christians to vote in the lobby of your church?

I mean, how dare you?

What excuse are you using?

It's all specious, it's all error, it's all deception.

You better get on the right side of things.

We have to speak up and stand up for the truth, no matter what man can say.

Man said all kind of things when we opened for COVID.

They called us murderers, they threatened our lives.

We had murder threats and they couldn't make anything happen.

They don't have enough power to pop a paper bag.

We are the ones with the power folks, we're the ones with the Holy Ghost.

What man?

We're the ones with a Holy Ghost.

What man?

Well, your friends, your family, your neighbors, your business associates Every one of you has a sphere of influence.

Hold your finger up and make a circle like this See, you have a sphere of influence.

There are people that look to you.

There are people they might not agree with you, but they're watching you.

Are you going to just be silent and not say anything?

Charlie Kirk is telling people get on their iPhone, go through your contact list and identify people that you need to talk to and have breakfast with them and talk to them about making sure that they're registered to vote and that they're going to vote.

I mean, use your influence.

Start telling people that this is a sham.

Not everybody understands it's a sham.

Most people do, but a lot of people don't, and a lot of people are sitting in pews where there's no leadership from the pulpit like this.

There's nobody speaking the truth.

You could do that and you should do that.

Number two know that you have momentum 30 years of a series of actions behind you.

Maybe you haven't done anything, but you know what this church has and you get to ride the wave with us.

Think about a tsunami.

You know, I was watching surfers the other day.

They had a thing about surfing, you know, there in Hawaii, and they were riding these waves.

They were big old waves.

Well, a tsunami is a really big wave and in my dream I was riding one.

I don't know how I got up on the top of that wave, but I had to have caught it.

I had to have been out in deep water and I must have been able to to time my operation to paddle out there and get up and let that wave lift me.

And I was riding in that tsunami dream of mine.

I was riding that wave when it hit the beach and the same wave of glory is going to bring destruction.

We are going to have destruction.

Nothing we can do about it.

Glory is going to bring destruction.

It's going to happen.

God is separating the wheat from the chaff.

Right now, most of the Democrat Party are chaff.

We're going to reach across the aisle and shake hands with the chaff.

No, we've got to.

We've got to.

We've got influence.

25% of Christians vote, and this is a Christian nation.

So if you're going to have an outreach, how stupid is it to go block walking, to go in a neighborhood and go down the road and I know some of you have done that, and I'm not saying don't do it, but it's very ineffective.

It's not going to change anything.

You might pick up one vote, you might pick up two.

They don't know you most of the time.

They don't respect you.

If you come to my house, I'm not going to answer the front door.

I don't answer the front door, forget it.

So you're going to skip me.

Besides that, I don't need what you have to say because I've already.

I'm voting, okay, I'm going to vote correctly.

That gets back to your opportunity that you have that very few people are registered to vote and even fewer that do register don't even vote.

So by the time you have these percentages, you've got less than 25% of Christian people voting.

That's why evil conquers.

That's why evil is doing what it's doing.

But just as true if we can get those numbers changed around through your influence and through your labor.

I'm telling you we can win this election going away and we can carry the legislature.

We can change the judges.

You know the last regime allowed anybody to vote in our primaries.

So you know how Dave Phelan, who is our former Speaker of the House, who would just compromise with Democrats all the time, left and right very weak and it's by design.

That's what they believe in.

They believe in that.

They believe in it.

So we had a really good candidate running against him in Beaumont to take his seat and he didn't make it because 1,500 Democrats were able to vote in the Republican primary and they voted for Phelan.

Just like it is in the House of Representatives in the national level, johnson is compromised, but the Democrats are propping him up.

He acted like he was a conservative, but he's not very conservative.

He might be a Christian I'm not his judge, I don't know.

He says he's a Christian, says he's a Bible guy, but he's doing things that are just ridiculous.

Need to get rid of him.

Need to get rid of all these mushy guys that aren't doing things.

So use your influence and that sphere of influence to get people not only registered to vote, make sure they do vote.

If necessary, go by and pick them up.

That's what the Democrats do.

They go, pick people up and take them to the voting booth.

Are y'all with me now?

I mean, can you really?

Can you do this?

Do you see yourself doing this Because it's your duty?

If we don't get this done, it's going to hinder revival.

I don't have faith in Donald Trump.

I don't have faith in Republican party.

That's not where my faith is.

My faith is in God.

But let me tell you something If the church doesn't do its job, you want to know what I'm afraid of.

I ain't afraid of the devil.

I ain't afraid of Democrats.

I'm not afraid of what people say about me, what they lie about me.

They've been doing that a long time.

I don't care, I don't.

I'm not afraid.

I am afraid that God is going to do an evaluation and say to the church you know, you just waited around too long, you wouldn't wake up.

So I'm going to push pause on my plans and I'm going to hold back until your kids grow up.

He did that with Israel.

They quit obeying him.

In fact, they never did obey him, they just griped and complained all the way from Egypt out into the wilderness.

They never did obey God.

They just always complaining and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And finally he got so fed up with them when they brought an evil report out of the promised land.

Oh yeah, it's just like God said it's a land that floweth milk and honey.

Oh, and this is the fruit of it.

Nevertheless, there are giants there.

People are going to call us homophobes.

People are going to say we have Islamophobia.

Well, I don't have any fear of Islam and I have no fear of homosexuals and transgenders and all.

I don't have any fear of that.

I just don't agree with it.

I'm not going to act like I agree with it and I'm not going to want it in the country.

As far as our government is concerned, it's a Christian nation.

Let's take it back, and we have a chance to do that.

And so the number three praying and voting is just not enough.

We have to act.

What's my part in this next seven months?

Because November the 5th, is the do or die for the revival.

I believe that, with everything that is in me, revival depends on having Trump in the White House.

If we have these people in the White House, I'm convinced God is just going to say okay, there's no place for a.

How can we get any kind of a harvest out of this mess?

You're looking at me like I can't believe he came up with that.

Well, I just read my Bible.

You've got the same Bible I do and God has a history of just of judging his people and saying okay, buddies, psalm 78 said they limited the Holy One of Israel.

They forgot his wonders that he did in the field of Zoan.

This country has forgotten how God has blessed us.

He blessed us in World War II to defeat the most horrendous Axis powers.

I mean, the Japanese were evil, hitler and the Nazis were evil and we defeated them.

And you go back and we've drifted away since then.

We've drifted off into all kinds of crazy wars and crazy things that we've got nothing for.

And it's time we take our country back, and you and I are the keys to that.

I tell you, you know, when you take your rightful place of authority, we have the name of Jesus, we have the Holy Ghost, we have the Word of God and we have the blood of Jesus.

We have all we need to defeat deception and take this nation back to its rightful place.
