  1. Pick your Bibles up before you're seated.

  2. You've been standing up a while, but let's pick them up.

  3. Pick your Bibles up, wave them around, make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

  4. Say this together.

  5. Say Heavenly Father, jesus is my Lord, and that means the Word is Lord.

  6. I look to the Word and I let it rule my life.

  7. I let it rule my thoughts, I let it rule my behavior and I let it rule my thoughts.

  8. I let it rule my behavior and I let it rule my worldview.

  9. I have a biblical worldview that's shaped by this word, informed by the Holy Ghost, and I'm going to tell everybody about it in Jesus' name.

  10. Amen.

  11. We need to tell more and more people.

  12. People need the Lord.

  13. You know they do need the Lord.

  14. All right Glory to God.

  15. I looked at the debate the other night and it wasn't a debate.

  16. It was like a man.

  17. I mean, wow, that was.

  18. That was just plum, almost embarrassing.

  19. Just think about the people that would put a man like that out in front of everybody.

  20. They're just heartless.

  21. They don't care, do they?

  22. They just want power.

  23. No matter what, no matter where the poor guy looks like a complete, you know, basket case or not, doesn't matter to them.

  24. All right, I'm going to get off of that.

  25. Mark chapter four, please.

  26. Mark chapter 4 and verse 35.

    Mark 4 chapter mention

  27. Mark 4, 35.

  28. It's on page 55, if you're still looking.

  29. Some of you got that.

  30. Some of you are looking at me like what's wrong with him.

  31. That's in the Kenneth Copeland King James version of the Bible.

  32. Kenneth Copeland did not write the Bible, by the way.

  33. All right, it's just, you know, from KCM All right, verse 34, verse 35,.

  34. And the same day, when the evening was come, he, jesus, saith unto them Let us pass over unto the other side.

  35. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him, even as he was in the ship and there were also with him other little ships, and there arose a great storm of wind, a mega storm, and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full, and he was in the hinder part of the ship asleep on a pillow.

  36. And they awake him and say unto him Master, carest thou not that we perish.

  37. I don't know if they sounded like that, but that's how I read it.

  38. I just I think about you know, I just put myself at this.

  39. I put myself there, and he arose and he rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, peace be still.

  40. And the wind ceased and there was a mega calm.

  41. And he said unto them why are you so fearful?

  42. How is it that you have no faith?

  43. Zero, you got an F minus on this examination.

  44. And they feared exceedingly and said one to another what manner of man is this that even the wind and the sea obey him?

  45. And so tonight I just wanted to share a message entitled Adventures in the Apostolic.

  46. I've been talking about the anointing this morning and the anointing especially on the fivefold ministry, and Jesus stood in all ministry gifts.

  47. He is the apostle and high priest of our profession.

  48. He was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

  49. Apostle means sent one.

  50. He was definitely a sent one and he was sent as our Messiah sent as our Savior, our healer.

  51. So he is an apostle.

  52. He's also, of course, a prophet.

  53. I had a Muslim one time say oh yeah, we believe in Jesus.

  54. I believe Jesus was a great prophet.

  55. I said you can't believe that.

  56. I said you either believe he is who he said he is or he's the biggest liar.

  57. He didn't say he was a prophet.

  58. He said he's the son of God.

  59. You can't say he's a prophet and not believe that he is everything he said he was and he kind of looked at me, like you know, I slapped him in the face.

  60. I guess I did, and so.

  61. But he's of course a prophet, he's an evangelist and of course he's the great shepherd, the chief shepherd, he's a pastor and of course a teacher.

  62. So he's embodiment of all five, of the five-fold ministry.

  63. I like what I heard Brother Ed say way back, brother Ed Dufresne in the 80s.

  64. I heard him say in a meeting that the Father originates, jesus administrates and the Holy Ghost demonstrates.

  65. It stuck with me all these years.

  66. You know, the Father was all.

  67. The Father came from the Father, but Jesus is the administrator, jesus just distributes these gifts.

  68. And so I wanted to look at this apostolic adventures in the apostolic, because I see apostolic in this first thing and then in chapter 5.

  69. I just want to go over it with you because it's similar to what this church is involved with.

  70. The apostolic is regional and it goes after territorial demons.

  71. It takes back territories from regional spirits.

  72. And so here in verse 35 of chapter 4, he said let us pass over.

  73. See, that was the rhema for the disciples.

  74. I mean, that was their word.

  75. Let us pass over.

  76. He didn't say let's get out in the middle of a lake and drown.

  77. They had a word from God and he just got through.

  78. You know, he just got through with a so or so of some word and talked about the four kinds of dirt, three kinds of dirt that have a crop failure.

  79. They had a crop failure right away.

  80. They let the devil steal that word right out of their heart.

  81. As soon as they saw those waves and that water in the boat, they forgot all about the word.

  82. They forgot all about it.

  83. They just had to wake up.

  84. At least they woke up, jesus.

  85. They didn't drown.

  86. But so there's a mega storm and waves.

  87. And then you know what's the disciples reaction?

  88. We perish, we forget the word.

  89. We perish, I mean, we forget the word.

  90. We're in fear.

  91. We can't forget the word.

  92. We got to get the word down in our spirit.

  93. It's got to come out of your brain and get it down in your heart.

  94. And Jesus' reaction was what?

  95. Well, he just got right up.

  96. He didn't even address them, he just rebuked the wind.

  97. He got busy.

  98. I mean, you know what?

  99. Sometimes you've just got to get busy.

  100. You don't have time to fast and pray and go on a vacation and wonder what to do about something.

  101. You've got to rise up, use your authority, which he knew how to do, and he rebuked the wind and spoke peace shalom to the sea, and the results were the wind ceased and there was a mega calm.

  102. There was a mega storm and now there's a mega calm.

  103. Now, you know, there's storms, we have storms.

  104. Not every storm is a devil, but some are.

  105. Some are stirred up by demon powers, not all of them, but some of them.

  106. You know, some of them are just meteorological events.

  107. You know, I mentioned I don't know if I mentioned it this morning, but we got to make sure we don't call just anything a miracle.

  108. On the positive side, don't just.

  109. Oh, you know, I got home early today, honey, it's a miracle.

  110. The traffic wasn't as bad.

  111. No, that wasn't a miracle, the traffic wasn't as bad.

  112. Don't call that a miracle.

  113. Oh, the devil gave me a flat tire.

  114. No, he didn't.

  115. He ran over a nail or something.

  116. The devil wasn't out there with a nail.

  117. See what I mean.

  118. In other words, when we ascribe to God, you know.

  119. See what I mean.

  120. In other words, when we ascribe to God, you know, natural things and call them supernatural.

  121. It cheapens the real.

  122. Let's keep the miracles in a different category and the devil under our feet.

  123. Amen, let's not give him more power than he's got.

  124. So and so then, so he performed this miracle.

  125. He rebuked the wind, told the sea to calm down, and then he asked why are you so fearful?

  126. How is it that you have no faith?

  127. Because he had given them the means by which to have faith.

  128. He had just taught them all day long, and then went behind them privately and expounded the meaning of the parable, went into great detail, and it just as soon as circumstances turned.

  129. They just forgot about everything.

  130. And so then again, after he said what he said, their reaction was they feared exceedingly.

  131. And just what manner of man, what kind of guy have we hooked up with?

  132. I mean, he talks to storms.

  133. I mean he rebukes wind.

  134. I mean, who does that?

  135. They were still in a mystery.

  136. So we get over to chapter 5, and the real reason behind the storm.

  137. Let's look at it chapter 5.

  138. See, there wasn't any chapters in the Bible, they're just one big manuscript.

  139. It went from what we just read right into what we're about to read, and there wasn't no chapter 5 there, and they came over under the other side of the sea.

  140. They didn't sink into the country of the Gadarenes.

  141. I've been there.

  142. That's the most.

  143. Even today, 2,000 years later, it's the most God-forsaken looking place you ever saw.

  144. It just looked like all the trees are ragged looking.

  145. You know Israel is a beautiful country.

  146. It's got.

  147. You know there's rocky places and arid places, but the parts that they have improved and they're farming, I mean it is the most beautiful green, verdant, lush landscape you ever saw, except right at the Gadarene.

  148. It's right there by the Sea of Galilee.

  149. It's right by the Sea of Galilee.

  150. How could it be bad?

  151. I mean, you've got a lake out there and yet it looks terrible even today, 2,000 years later.

  152. And he came over to the Gadarenes and when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs, a man with an unclean spirit who had his dwelling among the tombs and no man could bind him.

  153. No, not with chains, because he had been often bound with fetters and chains and the chains had been plucked asunder by him and the fetters broken in pieces.

  154. Neither could any man tame him, and always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones.

  155. But when he saw Jesus afar off, when he saw Jesus afar off, he must have been watching him on the lake Because it says when he got to the land he was there.

  156. So he met.

  157. He had to have seen him from a distance.

  158. This demon possessed man.

  159. When he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped him.

  160. I tell you, no demon can stop a human being from worshiping Jesus, I don't care how bound up you are.

  161. I mean, just think about this man.

  162. He's living with dead bodies.

  163. He's got the smell of death on him.

  164. He's naked.

  165. They're trying to take control of him because he's uncontrolled and he is an affront to the entire Jewish religion.

  166. I mean, he's out there and the devil is saying see, you don't have any power.

  167. What's good is your covenant?

  168. Look what.

  169. See, you don't have any power.

  170. What's good is your covenant?

  171. Look what.

  172. I've got one of your guys right here.

  173. I've got a.

  174. I've got him entirely under my control and you can't control it.

  175. You can't even chain him up.

  176. He breaks the chains.

  177. I had a girl down here in the front.

  178. She was pregnant at the time.

  179. I didn't even know that.

  180. I don't think I would have been so forceful with her.

  181. But I mean to tell you she had devils and she was manifesting during the service and, and, and so somebody come it, came up, you know, and and she's got some devils.

  182. And I started dealing with them, boy, she started manifesting, snarling, you know.

  183. And I mean I mean she's a girl less probably 25, 30 years old, and Pete was on one end.

  184. Where'd Pete go?

  185. Anyway, he, he'll verify it.

  186. He was on one end.

  187. Where'd Pete go?

  188. Anyway, he'll verify it.

  189. He was on one end.

  190. She had her by one arm and our guys were on either side of her and I mean, she began to whip them around like they were nothing.

  191. She was pulling them and they couldn't control her and she was snarling.

  192. And I mean I got my nose right in her nose and I began to rebuke the devil and I cast that devil out of her and she just, and her eyes rolled back at her head.

  193. I thought she, I thought she died for a minute.

  194. And now am I telling the story, right, pete?

  195. I mean she was jerking you around.

  196. That girl that was demon, possessed that day, right down here.

  197. Nobody, nobody could control her, but that I'm telling you she's in church.

  198. The devil couldn't keep her out of church.

  199. What does this have to do with the apostolic Well?

  200. That unclean spirit in that man had that entire region bound and when Jesus headed over that direction, the devil stirred that storm up to keep that from happening.

  201. Are y'all getting this now?

  202. I tell you, these territorial demons do not want to have capital worship.

  203. They don't want us coming into their state.

  204. They don't want Jesus magnified in these capitals.

  205. They want to keep that power.

  206. They're so zealous and jealous of power.

  207. They'll put an Alzheimer's patient out in a debate for a presidential debate.

  208. That's how demonized the Democrats are.

  209. And Jill Biden?

  210. She's a complete pathetic person to allow her husband to be looked at like that.

  211. And she's behind it.

  212. They couldn't, they can't deal with him.

  213. They deal with her.

  214. Everybody wants to talk about Michelle Obama.

  215. Michelle's not even around.

  216. It's Jill is who you see every day.

  217. Jill, dr Jill.

  218. Oh, it's Dr Jill.

  219. Here I go again.

  220. I've been keeping this bottle up.

  221. You can tell I've got to.

  222. Things are changing.

  223. Oh, I'm telling you things We've had.

  224. This is a great week for us.

  225. This is a great week.

  226. Supreme Court came through.

  227. They're going'm telling you things We've had.

  228. This is a great week for us.

  229. This is a great week.

  230. Supreme Court came through.

  231. They're going to come through tomorrow, in Jesus' name.

  232. They're coming through tomorrow.

  233. Why do you think they're trying to diminish the Supreme Court?

  234. Because they know they're getting their clocks cleaned.

  235. So the storm was because the devil didn't want to lose his influence in that region.

  236. It's the same as Paul's storm, you know.

  237. The devil tried to take Paul out.

  238. Fear not, paul, you must stand before Caesar.

  239. See, the devil did not want Caesar to have a witness.

  240. Are you all with me?

  241. Now?

  242. It takes the apostolic anointing to take back territory that's been stolen.

  243. The devil thinks that this is his land.

  244. Well, he's got another thing coming.

  245. It's our land and we're going to take it back until it's time for Jesus to come and snatch us right out of here, amen.

  246. So, and when he cast the devil out of this man you know we keep reading there.

  247. So he saw Jesus afar verse 6, and he ran and worshiped him, and he's filled with demons and he worshipped Jesus.

  248. They couldn't stop him from worshipping Jesus and he cried with a loud voice and said what do I have to do with thee, jesus, our son of the most high God?

  249. I adjure thee, by God, that thou torment me not.

  250. Well, that wasn't the man saying that, that was the devil, the demon power, for he said Jesus had said unto him come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

  251. Jesus had a systematic discourse.

  252. The word said there is not just say one time.

  253. It's the systematic discourse.

  254. He kept on saying come out of the man, come out of the man Dealing with that devil down there.

  255. I mean that devil didn't obey.

  256. The first time I told him to come out.

  257. After a little bit I got the name of that demon, and when I got the name of that demon, about 90% of the battle was over with.

  258. I finally discerned the name of the demon.

  259. God just gives me discerning of spirits and I don't know what it's called interpretation of tongues.

  260. I don't even know what the gift is.

  261. I just have it and I use it and it works Well.

  262. I don't see it in the Bible, I don't know.

  263. There's a lot of things that Jesus did that aren't even written in here.

  264. That's what John said.

  265. There's so many miracles that he did, and I'm sure a lot of them were deliverance too.

  266. I mean this one is written and it said it's an unclean spirit, but he said unto him come out of them.

  267. You unclean spirit.

  268. And he asked him what is thy name?

  269. See, his name isn't unclean.

  270. Unclean is the type.

  271. What is your name?

  272. Jesus asked, and he answered saying my name is Legion, for we are many Legion.

  273. If it's like a legion in the Roman army, that's 6,000.

  274. I don't know if that's true or not, but it could be 6,000 different demon powers stacked into one human being.

  275. That's how desperate the devil is for human beings in which to express themselves.

  276. You know, a demon just floating around.

  277. They can't do anything.

  278. They've got to have human flesh.

  279. And you know, barring human flesh, they will reluctantly settle for animal flesh, as we see right here.

  280. I mean, they'll settle for animal flesh if they can't have human flesh.

  281. And he, that is that ruling demon called Legion.

  282. He besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

  283. See, they're territorial.

  284. They don't want to leave that region.

  285. They don't want to get out of that region.

  286. See, every place we go.

  287. They don't want to get out of Oklahoma City.

  288. They don't want to get out of Louisiana.

  289. They don't want to get out of Baton Rouge.

  290. They don't want to get out of Austin.

  291. Boy, they think they own it.

  292. Well, they don't own it.

  293. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein Praise God.

  294. Adventures in the apostolic.

  295. It's pretty exciting.

  296. It's an exciting life.

  297. You know, when you go out there you're going to be up against territorial demon powers.

  298. That's why we have to have prayer.

  299. That's why Thursday night prayer is so important, and I salute all my prayer warriors, ms Linda and Ms Loretta, and all the rest of you that are so faithful to come and stand.

  300. I mean, that is so key.

  301. There's no doing what we do without the prayer behind it.

  302. And you know they don't sit around talking about the devil.

  303. They pray in tongues.

  304. So see, praying in tongues is processing the plan of God and it's just, it's preparing the ground ahead of us.

  305. And then, when that anointing gets there, well, you know, something's got to give, and it's the devil.

  306. So he besought him much that he would not send him away out of the country.

  307. See, they want that.

  308. That's their territory.

  309. Oh, don't send us out.

  310. And they said look, uh, send us into the swine.

  311. Send us into the swine.

  312. He's a great herd of swine feeding.

  313. See what are they doing raising hogs.

  314. This is this, is israel.

  315. They're not supposed to be raising hogs.

  316. There's no reason to raise hogs.

  317. The hogs unclean and there's 2 000 them.

  318. I've been right there.

  319. I've been right where this happened.

  320. It's a steep place right down to the Sea of Galilee.

  321. I mean there's no way you get 2,000 crazy, demon-possessed pigs running down a slope.

  322. There's no place for them to go but rot in the water and drown.

  323. That's what happened to them.

  324. He cast 6,000 demons into 2,000 pigs, three per pig.

  325. I mean it wouldn't even take one per pig, but three per pig, three demons.

  326. I'd say that's my mathematics coming back, engineering mind 3,000.

  327. 6,000 demons into 2,000 pigs, three per pig.

  328. And they went crazy.

  329. They started running, they started stampeding.

  330. I'm glad I wasn't on the front side of that herd, that would have been pretty bad.

  331. And forthwith, verse 13, jesus gave them leave.

  332. He said all right, what have what?

  333. Oh sure, go right ahead.

  334. And the unclean spirits went out, entered into the swine and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea about 2,000, and they were choked in the sea.

  335. That was a pretty big loss for the swine farmer.

  336. Pork bellies bottomed out right there in the Sea of Galilee.

  337. So are you getting this now?

  338. So don't send us out of the country.

  339. It's their territorial.

  340. Jesus had said repeatedly come out of them, come out of them, come out of them.

  341. He wouldn't give up.

  342. Finally, ask them a name.

  343. Well, my name is Legion.

  344. We're many.

  345. They beg to be sent into the swine and they need some kind of body to inhabit.

  346. And you know, it didn't do them any good, because there they are.

  347. I mean, they didn't drown, the pigs drowned, and now they're without anything to inhabit, they're just floating around the area.

  348. I was in India one time.

  349. They had a devil tree.

  350. One of our ladies saw it before I went on that trip.

  351. She said, pastor, I see this tree.

  352. It's like it's got demons hanging out in the tree and it's real ugly and it's huge.

  353. And I said, well, okay, that's kind of cool.

  354. And so, sure enough, on my way from the hotel where I was staying to the venue where I was teaching, going down this real busy avenue, and I looked out there one morning and there was this huge tree and it had to have been this big around at the base it was huge and full but there was hardly any leaves on it.

  355. It had stuff hanging from the limbs like not balloons, but little pieces of paper and stuff, like not balloons but little pieces of paper and stuff.

  356. And Brother Varghese was with me.

  357. I said, brother Varghese, what in the world is that tree?

  358. He said, oh, that's a demon tree.

  359. He said they go in here and they do sacrifices in that tree.

  360. And they know there's demons that lodge in those branches and they do sacrifices, they use it for witchcraft.

  361. I mean, you know what?

  362. We don't need to import those people into our country.

  363. We just don't need open borders.

  364. Do we need open borders?

  365. Are people like that to come in here with their kind of craziness?

  366. Anyway, I'm getting off again, all right.

  367. So let's look at the demoniac's response.

  368. So demoniac, verse 15, here goes the swine.

  369. They're drowning in the ocean, in the sea, galilee, and they come to Jesus.

  370. Number 14, they that fed the swine fled and told it in the city and in the country and they went out to see what it was that was done.

  371. So you know you've got the farmers.

  372. They're pretty upset.

  373. They lost 2,000 head of swine.

  374. So they go into town to tattle on Jesus.

  375. They all come out and say hey, what's going on around here?

  376. Who's this?

  377. What's he doing?

  378. He's messing us up.

  379. And they come to Jesus and they see him that was possessed with the demons and he had the legion had.

  380. But he doesn't anymore and he's sitting clothed and in his right mind.

  381. And they were really glad.

  382. They started praising the Lord.

  383. They were afraid, they were afraid.

  384. So he's delivered and in his right mind, fully clothed.

  385. He had a sound mind, he was sane, he was self-controlled, he was serious, he was moderate, sober-minded, restrained, disciplined and able to reason.

  386. And here's a man the day before was living with dead bodies.

  387. Man, I mean, that's pretty amazing.

  388. Talking about adventures in the apostolic, I'm talking about reclaiming what the devil has done and transforming lives in the process.

  389. And in verse 18 he, when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with a demon, prayed him that he might be with him.

  390. He said, oh Jesus, let me come with you, let me come with you.

  391. How be it?

  392. Jesus suffered him not and said unto him go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for thee and have had compassion on thee, have had hesed.

  393. See, he's a covenant man, he had no business being possessed with all those demons.

  394. And it gets back to dead religion.

  395. It gets back to there are no teaching priests.

  396. It gets back to the fact that you've got this hierarchy of clergy that went to seminary and they haven't learned anything.

  397. They think the Bible is filled with, you know, fables.

  398. It doesn't really mean what it says.

  399. It means See, that's what they had.

  400. They don't teach anything, they don't tell people what they've got, they don't enforce the covenant and help people get what they ought to get.

  401. No, they just let them go uncontrolled and they have no power.

  402. So he wanted to follow.

  403. Jesus said no, no, no, just go home, be a witness to your friends and look at verse 20.

  404. And he departed and he began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him.

  405. And all men marveled.

  406. God used that man.

  407. He used him more probably in his own hometown than he would have if he'd have just traveled with Jesus.

  408. I mean, you know he, just you know he went to Decapolis, which is 10 cities.

  409. I know where the three cities, the tri-cities, are Beaumont, orange and Port Arthur, but 10 cities, I mean 10, man, I mean that's a lot of territories, 10 cities.

  410. He's from 10 cities and everybody that heard it, they were glad to hear it, they were amazed.

  411. Hallelujah, go on and lift your hands right now.

  412. Woo, I mean, just look at this.

  413. I mean the guy was living with dead bodies.

  414. And the next time I mean you just turn around and there he's preaching telling what Jesus had done for him.

  415. Whoo Glory to God.

  416. So the people there in Gadarene, I mean from the looks of the country that I saw hadn't changed much.

  417. Maybe it has, but I mean the looks of it didn't.

  418. I mean that's the only.

  419. I mean I don't know why it's so ugly, what's wrong with the trees, how come they're so malnourished or something.

  420. And here they are on the slope of the right, there where the Sea of Galilee is Beautiful, around the Sea of Galilee.

  421. But yet Gadarenes.

  422. So they we already read in verse 15, they were afraid.

  423. They didn't praise God In verse 13,.

  424. They went and told everybody.

  425. They didn't repent.

  426. They had to have been angry to lose 2,000 head of swine.

  427. Their livelihood is gone.

  428. I can understand, I guess a little bit, but you know you ought to.

  429. I mean you know, if you even had any kind of the word in you, you ought to know what you were doing is wrong Raising stuff that your people would sin by eating.

  430. What other use is there for a bunch of hogs if you're not going to eat pork chops Anyway.

  431. And so there was no repentance.

  432. Their living was destroyed and they asked Jesus to leave Verse 17.

  433. They said in verse 17, they began to pray him, to ask him, to demand him depart out of our coast, get out of here.

  434. We don't need people like you running around here.

  435. Depart from their coast.

  436. Yeah, there's a lot of people don't like what we're doing, especially the Democrats, especially the political class, the swamp.

  437. They don't like what we're doing.

  438. They want to keep.

  439. They want to keep in the money train with the george soros and all the billionaires and the people that are priming their pump with billions and billions of dollars.

  440. They don't want anything to interrupt that.

  441. They don't want to get a.

  442. You know, get people thinking about the bible.

  443. They don't want.

  444. They don't want the bible being taught in schools.

  445. But yet, you know, here we've just had capital worship in Louisiana and guess what?

  446. They've got Ten Commandments in all of their schools now and the teachers are griping Well, what if we don't want to teach the Bible?

  447. Well, you can quit, that's what you can do and move to another state.

  448. How about that, sweetie?

  449. You've had it this way long enough.

  450. We're going to take back what we gave up.

  451. Glory to God.

  452. Woo, jesus.

  453. Yeah, they ask him to leave.

  454. Get out of here.

  455. You realize how long it's going to take us to rebuild what you just destroyed.

  456. So you know, we bring the demonstration, but we're not responsible for the results, you know.

  457. I mean, just look at the witness these people had.

  458. This was Jesus.

  459. Jesus defeated the devil out there on the lake.

  460. The devil tried to kill him out on the lake.

  461. He defeated him.

  462. He just rebuked the wind and said peace, be still.

  463. And then he gets over there and right as he gets off the boat, here's the demoniac, right there.

  464. He saw him from a great distance and ran down there and bent over and worshiped him.

  465. Oh my goodness, you would think the whole region of the Gadarenes would have had a revival, but they didn't.

  466. You better think again if you think that everybody's going to accept what we're doing.

  467. We're not responsible for the results, we're just responsible for the witness.

  468. We must give these people a witness, no matter what.

  469. They have to hear the truth.

  470. They can decide for themselves.

  471. And if they decide the other way, to ask us to please leave now would you leave our party now?

  472. We're moderates and we want to be very moderate.

  473. No, we're not leaving the party.

  474. It's the closest thing and Republicans are the closest thing to the God side and we're going to stick in there until it's all over and you moderates can be moderate Democrats if you want to Move over there.

  475. Amen.

  476. So we bring the demonstration, but we're not responsible for the results.

  477. Come on, lift your hands, receive it.

  478. Adventures with Jesus.

  479. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  480. Oh, thank God, we have power over the enemy.

  481. We have apostolic anointing over this church.

  482. There's no other way for it to work, no other way for it to manifest the way it's manifested.

  483. And hallelujah.

  484. Thank you Lord, thank you Jesus.

  485. You know, I think about that demoniac.

  486. Think about how fouled up he was for so long and yet something in him could not be denied.

  487. And yet something in him could not be denied.

  488. All the demons that were plaguing him couldn't stop him from coming to Jesus.

  489. All the degradation Just think of the unclean.

  490. The Bible says unclean spirit.

  491. That's what we see a lot right now.

  492. Unclean spirit, all this pride.

  493. That's unclean spirits.

  494. They're proud of their unclean spirit.

  495. This is all this pride.

  496. That's unclean spirits.

  497. They're proud of their unclean spirit.

  498. And the church has got to manifest Jesus.

  499. We got to manifest Jesus.

  500. We got to manifest the truth.

  501. Let's pray in tongues.

  502. Let's pray in the Holy Ghost right now.

  503. Holy Spirit, have your way tonight.

  504. Not our will, but thine be done.

  505. Let's pray in the Holy Ghost right now.

  506. Holy Spirit, have your way tonight.

  507. Not our will, but thine be done.

  508. I just can't get away from this.

  509. I got it during the song service and it just stuck with me, so I just want to speak it out.

  510. I think about that demoniac.

  511. Think about how his life went from where it was to going back to the ten cities and telling everything about how Jesus had had compassion on him, had had hesed, how the Lord had blessed him and had hesed on him.

  512. Did the Lord condemn him?

  513. No, just think of all the yuck he was stuck in and just like that it was changed.

  514. See, that's the miracle of what Jesus does, that's what the anointing can do.

  515. The anointing is God's power that can change, that can destroy yokes of bondage.

  516. Something that's destroyed can't be put back together and used again.

  517. A yoke is a, as I said this morning, it's a wooden implement that they put on the necks of oxen or beasts of burden, donkeys and mules, horses to hook up a load to.

  518. And the devil used yokes of bondage to hook us up with loads that we can't carry burdens.

  519. And the anointing shall it destroys the yoke.

  520. The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing Isaiah 10.27.

  521. So I just if you just need a start, you need a brand new start tonight.

  522. The past is here.

  523. You need a brand new start tonight.

  524. The past is here.

  525. You hate it and you want something new, starting right now.

  526. This is right now for you.

  527. I'm just going to say it right now.

  528. Well, I'm embarrassed.

  529. No, there's no embarrassment.

  530. This altar is the altar where people have been delivered for 30 years.

  531. Well, actually 20 years, because we moved in this building 20 years ago, in May.

  532. So 20 years.

  533. But we've had deliverance in every building.

  534. We've had people get saved in every building.

  535. We've had lives changed in every building.

  536. Why should it be any different tonight?

  537. You are, I want to say, sick and tired.

  538. You know what I mean by sick and tired.

  539. You're sick and tired of what you've had and you want it.

  540. You're willing, you're coming to Jesus, you're bowing to him, you're going to give it all to him and you're willing for him to just break this yoke of bondage off of you so you can go free.

  541. Go free tonight.

  542. God wants to set the captive free.

  543. Come on, lift your hands, just set the captive free.

  544. You've been held captive.

  545. You want to be free.

  546. You're not willing to go another day, not another day.

  547. Hallelujah.

  548. Thank you Jesus.

  549. Glory to God.

  550. Thank you Jesus.

  551. Thank you Lord.

  552. Jesus said behold, I make all things new.

  553. I remember when he made me brand new in an instant of time.

  554. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  555. Thank you Lord.

  556. I'm just going to give you a little bit longer.

  557. Behold, I make all things new.

  558. I make all things new.

  559. Behold, I make all things new.

  560. Behold, I make all things new.

  561. Behold, I make all things new.

  562. All things means all things.

  563. Thank you Lord, praise the Lord.

  564. Praise the Lord.

  565. Thank you, lord.

  566. Thank you Jesus.

  567. Thank you, jesus, lord.

  568. We worship you.

  569. There's nothing that can stop us from worshiping you.

  570. There's nothing in me that the blood can't cleanse.

  571. There's nothing in me that the anointing can't change.

  572. Let's say that together, out loud.

  573. There's nothing in me that the blood can't cleanse.

  574. There's nothing in me that the anointing can't change.

  575. You know, we go from glory to glory, we go from faith to faith.

  576. We go from strength to strength.

  577. I was thinking about momentum, thinking about 30 years of momentum, and I thought about Tarzan.

  578. I'm a creature of the 50s.

  579. I went to see Tarzan movies in the 50s.

  580. Johnny Weissmuller was Tarzan.

  581. It was my favorite one.

  582. He was an Olympic swimmer and he was built like one because his shoulders were about seven foot wide and his waist is about 28 inches, like this.

  583. You know, it's like a V, but he was Tarzan and I think there were several Janes, but anyway that's.

  584. But what would he do?

  585. Well, he would beat his chest and he would grab a vine and he would push off from a tree and he'd swing through the jungle and I mean you know, and then you, the camera would come way away, man, he's swinging.

  586. I mean that's a tall man, a tall tree in the jungle, and that that vine is really long and he's swinging kind of reminds you of spider-man, but spider-man hadn't been thought of yet.

  587. But anyway, he's going through the, through the jungle, and I mean he is swinging.

  588. I mean he's, he's got some speed going, and then he, he comes up to the top of the limits of that vine and he grabs another one and he just goes, like that and he grabs another one.

  589. He's getting higher and he's getting faster and faster and higher, moving through the jungle, leaving all the tangle behind.

  590. I know I'm kind of crazy, but I'm going to a heavenly and saint asylum.

  591. I know you probably don't see yourself as Tarzan, but you know, whatever I mean, we're moving through some stuff, we're grabbing a hold of his strength.

  592. Yeah, we got caught.

  593. We got caught a little bit, you know, but hey look, this is a new day, this is a new time.

  594. Right tonight, tonight is right now.

  595. Tonight you had the courage to come up here All kind of reasons.

  596. Nobody's sitting here trying to ask you a bunch of questions.

  597. The bottom line is you're never going to be the same Just as radical a change as the demoniac.

  598. He was living with dead people.

  599. I'm pretty sure none of you have been doing that.

  600. I'm pretty sure I mean you.

  601. Go to Uber and say where do you live?

  602. Drive me down on Lawndale.

  603. I live there at the Forest Park Cemetery.

  604. I've got a condo in the back where they prepare the bodies.

  605. That's where I'm staying.

  606. I sleep on a slab.

  607. It's really cool at night.

  608. I mean God, can you imagine that man?

  609. I mean God, can you imagine that man.

  610. I mean what his life was like.

  611. Can you imagine how horrible?

  612. I don't know what you've been through, but I'm going to tell you something that wasn't that bad.

  613. But whatever it is, we're putting the sickle to it, we're cutting it off.

  614. Right now, let's all say this tonight, in Jesus' name when hands are laid upon me, the anointing destroys the yoke of bondage that's on me.

  615. I will not have bondage.

  616. I will not carry this burden any longer.

  617. I am free and whom the Son sets free is unquestionably free.

  618. Stretch your hands out, church, in Jesus' name, lord.

  619. There's the anointing right there.

  620. Lord, no more.

  621. Ah, it's an utter end.

  622. The utter end to it, an utter end to it.

  623. In the name of Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah.

  624. It's a new day, it's a new day.

  625. There's the anointing right there, in the name of Jesus.

  626. There's the anointing right there.

  627. Glory to God, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you, lord.

  628. The anointing destroys the yoke.

  629. No more burdens, no more bondage.

  630. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, hallelujah, name of Jesus.

  631. In the name of Jesus, hallelujah.

  632. It's a new day, it's a new day.

  633. Everybody say it's a new day.

  634. Come on, let's lift our hands and glorify God, hallelujah.

  635. Thank you, lord, for a new day.

  636. Thank God for the anointing.

  637. It destroys the yoke.

  638. That means it can't come back on you.

  639. We go from strength to strength.

  640. We go from faith to faith.

  641. We go from glory to glory.
