Receiving God’s Power

Let's say this together let's make the devil mad and Jesus glad.

Say Heavenly Father, I'm grateful for Sunday nights, I'm grateful to be here tonight.

It might be raining on the outside, but it's raining right here on the inside as well.

Lord, we take authority tonight, we take our power tonight and we step up to the next level in you tonight the God.

That's more than enough.

You're a greater God.

Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world, and we honor that and remember that tonight In Jesus' name, amen.

Well, I just wanted to kind of piggyback off of what Pastor has been preaching about lately, about the power and accessing God's power and all the different ways, all the different things that are on our end and our side in order to be granted access.

And the blood is the answer that gives us access, amen into the holy of holies, answer that gives us access, amen into the holy of holies.

And I'm telling you, I just we're right on the edge.

We're right on the precipice of amazing, you know, just going up.

We just keep saying that.

You keep feeling it going higher and higher, don't you?

Amen?

And let's see, I don't know where to begin here.

I mean, I know where to begin my message, but just the behind the scenes that's been happening.

Anyways, let's just, I'll just start with July 4th.

You know it was a holiday, right?

Everybody had off and Celine and I slept in a little bit and I went out in the backyard, made some coffee first, had my first cup of coffee and went out outside and read all the Psalms and Proverbs and prayed and I was just the Lord impressed on me.

I don't see Nancy Franklin here tonight, but I was lifting up Nancy Franklin and I was just thinking of all of our widows and how it's our job to lift them up, and not just in word but also in deed.

And so, um, you know she's facing some challenges and I think it's been, I think it's been eight years that she's lived.

So, live without Dave, with David in heaven.

You know, made a trans transition eight years ago and I just my heart went out to her and I was just praying for her and supernatural strength.

And and, uh, you know, I got back inside and the breakfast began and Selena began to make homemade waffles and bacon and whatever else blueberry or whatever and uh, cause it was a holiday, but I went back in the bedroom and shut the door and I just I began to look through my Bible and I was gonna read somewhere in Timothy or somewhere in the Holy spirit, stronger than I know my name, said turn to Acts 8.

And so I began to read Acts 8, and I've really been believing God.

John Osteen, you know, would teach us to preach out of the overflow.

Right, you've heard my dad say that, but you got to have a flow in order to preach out of the overflow.

And it's not, it's not just for preachers, it's for every, you know, person in the believer's ministry.

You got to be full of the word in order to help somebody.

If you're not full of the Holy Spirit, if you're not full of his power, if you're not full of his love, if you're just on your last ounce, you know, it's really difficult to have to walk in the anointing that you need in order to change somebody's destiny and people all around us.

I don't care, you know, again, it's not just a church staff thing.

People face real issues.

I'm looking at Brother Pete down here.

His family's recently faced a really trying time and him and Miss Irma were able to step in and deliver the comfort of the Holy Ghost at the right place, at the right time, with the right people.

I mean, just God had them there and they brought a supply that their family needed, some instant encouragement, and I'm telling you that wasn't an easy situation, but they are seasoned veterans of the Holy Ghost.

Right, and you were able to step in because of the power of the Holy Ghost.

So, anyways.

So there I was reading in Acts 8.

And so you know you're coming from Acts 7, you have Stephen and Paul is is still Saul.

So Saul turns into Paul in the next chapter, in chapter nine, but this is chapter eight, and so Saul is still bringing lots of persecution onto the church.

And verse three it says as for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.

And so you know we face persecution here in America, but nothing like this.

Nobody is dragging us off and throwing us into prison.

And you know I was following a story in Dover not Dover, delaware, but I think it was Dover, new Hampshire.

So you have all the Methodist churches, right, just with the alphabet soup and all your pride flags flying.

And so they had a member of their community, just post just a scripture on the front door of the church, and I don't know.

They found out who he was and they issued an arrest warrant and they issued a search warrant for his home and all he did was tape a.

And so I'm following that case, because obviously we don't want even in liberal New Hampshire, we don't want something like that to take hold right, and so somebody needs to pay for that, and so somebody needs to be fired, somebody needs to maybe even go to jail the judge who signed that warrant, somebody that needs to be held accountable in that situation.

But here we are reading in the Bible, and in verse four it says therefore, those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.

And so here we have the book of Acts, the first church full of the power of the Holy Spirit, you know, going out.

They didn't go with their tail between their legs, they didn't go find a cave to hide in, they were facing major persecution.

And then it says that they went everywhere preaching the word, and so I just wanted to make that statement tonight that the last day's church, no matter how persecuted we are, we're not finding the cave, but we're going everywhere preaching the word.

We're going into every state, into every state capital and holding church services.

Amen, that's just one of the many things that we'll be doing in the last days for the Lord and what our future holds, together as a church and as a church at large, just the church in general, not just Glorious Way Church, it says.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them, and multitudes and the multitudes with one accord, he did the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

And so Smith Wigglesworth says that healing is God's dinner bell.

And so as more and more as the, as the word was preached, more and more powerfully, then they began to see stronger and stronger miracles, among them Amen, and so they heeded that wordeded means, you know, to hear, to listen, to follow, obviously.

But there was one meaning in the Greek.

When I looked it up that was a shipping term that I had not heard.

But like heeding a big ship, like pulling it in and tying it up to the dock, you know, and so that was significant meaning to me, but also, you know, really just to follow.

They listened and they followed.

They hung on every word right and they did it and they followed it.

And so verse 7, for unclean spirits crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.

Man, if that happened in the book of Acts, that's still happening today.

I'm telling you we have power in this church to cast out the devil, amen, and anybody who's possessed.

We have authority over that demonic spirit, amen.

And so I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Maybe you're kind of new here and you didn't realize you walked into a Holy Ghost church.

Things like that are going to begin to happen more and more in this church, not less and less.

And so sometimes that can be a little freaky looking and scary looking and sounding and whatever else.

But I'm telling you, greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world, and people need deliverance.

If it was happening, it said many back here how many of you realize there's many people that are bound by the devil in today's world that we have the authority to loose, amen and free, and so that's our job and that and we're.

You have what you preach.

That's why you can tell my dad's been on this, you know, up on his high horse just preaching it, right, boom, boom, boom, giving it to us.

Verse eight and there was great joy in the city.

And so there again, there's great joy when miracles are working right.

You can't get away from the joy, you can't separate the joy.

So I don't understand people that are.

There is no such thing as a sad Holy ghost.

Mark Hankins says that all the time.

There is no such thing as a sad Holy ghost and people who get all offended because maybe there's some kind of Holy laughter happening or people get joyful.

People run around, people any any expression of joy.

They're like oh my God, that's out of order.

And there it is.

You have it in the Bible that there's great joy in the entire city.

It just joy just took over.

Why did joy take over?

Because people were being free.

Man.

If you were bound by demonic spirits, if you were paralyzed and now you can walk, if the lame were healed and people are running around, you're going to experience some joy.

And so we need to grab a hold of the joy and be for the joy and open up our hearts to receive more joy and stop looking like, you know, we just lost our best friend or something here, you know, at church, and so there's changes coming.

Amen, verse nine.

But there was a certain man called Simon who previously practiced sorcery, simon the sorcerer in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great to whom they all gave heed.

So again, the entire city is giving heed and following this man, right From the least to the greatest, saying this man is the great power of God.

I just wanted you to realize that he was under.

You know, a sorcerer is one who deceives, manipulates and delights to control others.

My margin says and actually it's the Kingdom Dynamics notes coming up that I'm going to read but so some demonic spirits are taking place and a couple of things I just wanted to point out.

I know I'm going slow, but I kind of wanted to do that tonight.

I'm just kind of idling our motor.

That's what I like to do when I study the word.

I like to pull out of it everything you can possibly get out of this story, and just certain things just hit me and I began to to look at it from my own perspective and my own hunger, and that's where I'm going.

Spoiler alert like that's just where I'm going is just to stir up our hunger.

I'm really talking about receiving God's power tonight and we can all stand to receive more of God's power and walk in a greater level of anointing and in a greater level of power, amen.

And so I want you to see that the entire city of Samaria misinterpreted the demonic power for the power of God.

I'm telling you that doesn't happen anymore.

They, you know, in our society, they don't, they don't mistaken the demonic power for the power of God, do they?

They don't respect God, they don't respect church.

Just to talk about church, just to talk about what you believe.

Actually to go street witnessing is really a very dangerous thing in some cities, and so you must be full of the Holy Ghost and power if you're going to do that.

It's not just something recently, fairly recently, had a friend in Louisiana go street witnessing and got completely beat up.

I think he broke his nose and everything, but he was, you know.

He made it out alive.

Praise the Lord.

But so you had, you know, everywhere you go, you must follow the Holy Ghost.

And so, anyways, verse 10,.

You know they misinterpreted the demonic power for the power of God.

But I'm telling you, even in our society today, especially young people, they really are hungry for the truth.

They really are hungry for the supernatural.

They really are hungry for the supernatural.

They put a different title to it, they put a different name to it and they might be interested in watching horror movies and getting into that side of it, exorcisms and so on and so forth, but really they're hungry for the supernatural.

And I'm telling you, when we walk in God's power, that's attracting others of all ages.

But I'm telling you that, like just, young people need the truth.

And Selene and I get to work with young people all the time.

We're gearing up to go to youth camp Obviously, children's church camp is next week and then youth camp is the week after that and those young people need to experience the power of God, they need to get full of the Holy Ghost, they need to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and to be able.

You know, when you're rejoicing in here, god's doing battle on your behalf, kicking the devil in the teeth and you can kick the devil in the teeth too with your power, right?

And so let's see I think I'm on verse 11, right, and they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.

You know the devil, he doesn't give up.

The devil is relentless and you know, simon the sorcerer was able to trick these people for such a long time.

And I'm telling you, the devil doesn't quit.

He wants you completely deceived, completely taken over, completely manipulated and completely controlled.

Controlled and right under his thumb, and he's not going to quit until he gets that.

And I'm telling you, we need to wake up to the truth.

Amen, verse 12.

But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

It's talking about baptism into water.

Right Then Simon himself also believed, and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip and was amazed, amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

And so it's very significant that Simon the sorcerer, he was saved and he was water baptized.

Right Then, in verse 14, we see the A team is brought in, right.

So Philip goes away and then here comes Peter and John.

Now, when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who then I'm sorry, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, talking about being baptized into the Holy Ghost, right With the evidence of speaking in tongues Verse 16,.

For as yet the Holy Spirit had fallen upon none of them.

They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Talking about water baptism Verse 17,.

Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.

And so, like that could have happened in the same meeting, that could have happened with Philip, but instead Peter and John, they came, and again, it's dangerous to be traveling, they're under massive persecution, they could go to jail at any moment, and they later on, they do right, and in fact Peter had just gotten out of jail, I think back in Acts 4.

And so, anyway, so they laid hands on them and they all received the Holy Spirit.

And when Simon saw verse 18, when Simon saw that, through the laying on of the apostles' hands, the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money.

In verse 20 it says with you because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money.

You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

And so Peter just let him have it.

He was very quick to tell him exactly what he needed to do Verse 22,.

Repent, therefore, on this, your wickedness, and pray God.

God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

And so these weren't just thoughts.

This was in his heart.

His desire to manipulate and control.

It came from his heart.

It wasn't just an idea in his head.

He was used to being El Jefe, he was used to impressing people with his power.

He was used to walking in the demonic and having that control and manipulation over people.

I don't mean to be repetitive, but it was a serious thing.

It wasn't just magic, you know, we think of just, you know, a card trick or something.

No, it was way beyond that right.

And so if let's see verse 23, for I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity, and so Peter absolutely drills down and hits the exact issue that Simon the sorcerer had, in verse 24, it says then Simon answered and said pray to the Lord for me that none of these things which you have spoken may come upon me.

And when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans, and so that's all we know.

The Bible ends right there, and we don't?

Some Bible scholars think, hey, that's a positive statement, that, hey, pray to the Lord for me, in other words, let's stop right now and pray together.

But I don't really interpret that that way, do you?

I know there's other writings that are supposedly historical, that aren't the word of God, that prove that he didn't.

You know that he went on in sorcery and backslid, essentially, but the bottom line is, I don't believe he ever received.

And so what's stopping us from receiving more of God?

What's?

You know everybody, they laid hands on everybody and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

But this man's past was so strong, the baggage that he was carrying was so strong, and what was way more important to him than the Holy Spirit that he didn't receive.

It actually stopped him from receiving and he thought, hey, I can just add that to my bag of tricks and then I can lay hands on people and I can manipulate and control them through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hey, peter was really quick.

Hey, it doesn't work that way.

You got it all wrong.

You have a perverse spirit.

Which perverse you know?

And it just means twisted and backwards.

Right, it's not always a sexual meaning, but my kingdom dynamics in this study guide kind of dives into it, and I kind of want to pick this out and read it to y'all.

A sorcerer is one who deceives, manipulates and delights to control others, and does so by demonic enablement.

Peter identified the basis of Simon's sorcery as bitterness.

The deepening effect of unforgiveness here is warning regarding the danger of a tolerated or embraced unforgiveness which may, like poison, permeate and bind the soul, ultimately corrupting everything around it.

Unforgiveness will corrupt everything in your whole life.

It will corrupt your thinking, it will corrupt your love walk, it can corrupt your finances.

It can weave its way into every little part of your entire existence.

It really can, and so that's what we're talking about tonight as well is just getting rid of the things holding you back from just diving in and receiving all of the Holy Ghost.

Right, and so let's go back to the notes.

In Simon's case, his bitterness shaped his passion to control others, which prompted his quest to purchase the ability to impact the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Though having believed and been baptized, the residue of his past bondage surfaces as he unworthily seeks power to manipulate others for self-exalting purposes.

And Peter discerns the root of his bondage and summons Simon to repentance and deliverance.

I'm just going to say real quick, take a break from this and just say you know, we know about the fruit of the spirit, but there's bad fruit grown all the time, right, and you're going to continue to see bad fruit over and over and over again growing into all different areas of your life until you find the root.

And I'm telling you, you know things that can happen in your childhood, things happen when you're growing up, things happen, you know, where you allow squirrely thinking to come in and then you get saved.

And then you know, and you might get delivered.

You know, let's talk about alcohol, because it's so easily, we can all kind of identify that, because it's just easy.

You know, maybe somebody who has trouble with drinking, they get delivered and then a few weeks later goes by hey, it's just one beer, it's just one glass of wine, it's just whatever.

You would identify that really easily, right?

You know, social drinking in the church is just so.

Not in this church, thank God.

I just meant in the church at large.

I mean, that view is quickly.

I just can't believe how quickly things are shifting in that area.

And maybe I'm hitting you between the eyes.

I'm not really, I've just picked an example.

And maybe I'm hitting you between the eyes, I'm not really, I've just picked an example.

So, because we can, it's all obvious in our society, the power and effects of alcohol.

And now you're okay with it again.

And it just starts off with a little thing and boom, you're bound.

And what was it in Luke 11?

I'll just read it, Y'all don't have to turn there.

Luke 11, 24,.

Jesus says when an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest and finding none.

And he says I will return to my house, from which I came.

And when he comes he finds it swept and put in order.

In other words, there you know he's been delivered and it's all been swept out.

But then that demonic spirit goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

And so that's what happens.

It's seven times worse.

Right, you get delivered and then you allow the devil back in, and so I'm just here.

Uh, I'm not trying to go on and on, I'm not trying to make a whole thing of this, but just in order for you to stay delivered, in order for you to stay free, deliverance can happen.

It happens all the time at this altar, it happens during praise and worship, all the time.

But in order to stay free, you got to stay full, amen.

And so if you're full of the Holy Ghost, there's nothing else that can come in, there's nothing else that can be let in because you're full, you're already full to overflowing.

Then that spirit, there's nowhere for him to enter back into, amen.

And so that power comes and that deliverance comes through the power of the Holy Spirit, and so that power you can just live in, you can stay in.

It doesn't have to be something that you only experience when you come in the doors of the church, amen.

And so that's what happened to these other believers.

Hey, you know, there was a systematic thing that happened.

They were saved, then they were water baptized.

Saved, then they were water baptized, and then they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

And, yes, that can get a little bit out of order.

I've seen people filled with the Holy Spirit before they're water baptized, and I've seen people get water baptized and come up speaking in tongues.

So that can happen as well.

And so let's not get all religious and think that God has strings or certain ways.

There's certain religions that believe all kind of weird things.

I just believe what we just read.

You know what I mean, and not make a whole thing about it.

It's important that we not waste the power of God, right.

And so I just wanted to talk a little bit about that unforgiveness.

And so, if you'll turn with me, let's just go through some of the unforgiveness scriptures.

Jesus says in Matthew 6, 14, reading Matthew 6, 14 out of the New King James For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

And so it's boom like when you walk in unforgiveness, when you hold on to that root of bitterness, it can affect your relationship with God, it can affect how he forgives you for all the wrong that you've done right.

And then Colossians 3, verse 13.

Colossians 3:13

Let me just turn there instead of reading it out of my notes.

Colossians 3.

Little side note when Ethan was a little boy, he would watch this video that had this whole chapter.

Like, every verse of this chapter was like its own song, and so, you know, way back when there was VHS, and so, like I have as I read this, all these little songs come back, so I'll sing them as I read.

No, I'm just kidding.

Therefore, as the elect of God, verse 12, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness and long-suffering, bearing with one another and forgiving one another.

If anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must.

That's an important word there must do, we must do it.

It's not optional.

In other words, we must walk in forgiveness.

And so, um, you know, dad, like last week, it was communion Sunday, so he hit that pretty hard about forgiving others that have wronged you and walking and not taking communion unworthily, uh, and so we get to do that from time to time.

We get to examine our hearts, and it's a good thing to do, amen.

Verse 14, but above all, these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

You're like Jay, you moved on, you hit 13.

It was about forgiveness.

Why do you keep reading?

Because it's so good, Because it all flows together Amen.

Because when you walk in forgiveness, you're putting on love, which is a bond of perfection, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.

You know, when you're grateful, a grateful heart is.

It's really hard to have a grateful heart and to harbor unforgiveness.

I'm gonna say that again, it's really hard to have a grateful heart and to harbor unforgiveness.

I'm going to say that again, it's really hard to harbor unforgiveness with a grateful heart.

So have a grateful heart.

Amen.

Let verse 16, let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another and Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord, amen.

So again, you're not going to harbor unforgiveness, you're going to have joy, and the joy of the Holy Ghost will permeate everything you do.

You're going to be singing and humming and making a joyful noise.

Some of you, you know, I say that all the time as a worshiper.

You know, maybe you don't think you're the greatest singer, maybe you can't carry a tune, you know, but God still wants to hear your worship.

He wants to hear you singing, he wants to hear you making melody unto him.

And I was talking to one of the people here this morning from our parent meeting was the pastor's son out of the church in Conroe that's bringing some of our kids and I just he looked like a musician.

So I said, hey, man, you play any instruments?

He's like no, but he was a rapper and so he came out of the like.

He was a backslidden rapper and he's just now making like godly raps and I think that's a really cool thing.

That's needed in the body of Christ.

Maybe not quite here at this church right this second, but I'm just kidding, but it is needed.

It's a genre that people other than me appreciate and you really can reach all different people Amen, amen.

And so not to harbor unforgiveness is so important that we kill everything that's holding us back from receiving all that God wants through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

And I say this boldly, like you know.

I know I'm preaching to the Sunday night crowd.

I know, you know people have watched the weather and maybe it's caused them to not have a packed out house tonight, but you know, on Sunday morning.

We have quite a few not being judgmental, but just quite a few.

They like what my dad preaches, they like the politics, they like that God has a side and they want to get on God's side.

But they're not.

They're kind of wishy-washy when it comes to the Holy Ghost.

They don't, they don't, they're not quite hungry enough and they don't realize the power that's missing from not being filled with the Holy Spirit.

And so I just I wanted to hit it hard tonight, because that is where we get our power.

That is where we get our power.

You know, I grew up my best friend was a Baptist and he had a hard time Anytime we talked about the Holy Ghost.

He just was kind of lost.

And I remember it was way back in the Seventh-day church.

We leased the Seventh-day building.

We're not Seventh-day, but it was way back in the Seventh-day.

Him and I were sitting up in the balcony and my dad was preaching about the Holy Ghost and it finally hit him and he's like you know what, I don't know, it's like the Baptist ripped that page out of their Bible and like it really hit him, like this really is the truth and you know, but he didn't do anything with that.

I wasn't able to make the conversion.

So they read half of this, they get saved and they get water, baptized, and then they just skip.

It's like they took the rest of Acts 8 and they ripped it out of their Bible and Acts 2 and all the other.

You know there's like four other places in Acts where people are five maybe, where people are getting filled with the Holy Spirit, and they just they rip that out Like it's.

It's it's gone and done away with when it's not.

It's where we get our power and I'm telling you, it's where you get your peace.

If you're fighting anxiety and you're fighting fear, you know you cannot give thanks and be fearful at the same time either.

It just doesn't work.

And so a thankful heart you begin to just burst out into your prayer language and I'm telling you, no matter what fear you're facing, it's dissolving right there because you're using the power.

Why are you using that power?

What is really happening?

Well, your prayer language is a perfect language that's speaking out things that your mind can't understand.

So you're bypassing your brain.

Let's see, it was Jerry Savelle, right?

Jerry Savelle suffered a stroke years ago and so he wasn't able to talk.

He didn't know.

He couldn't say his wife's name, he didn't know his wife's name, he didn't know his daughter's name or his son-in-law's name, and so they put him in a hyperbaric chamber.

But he could pray in the Holy Spirit.

And so why?

Because you bypass your brain to do that, and so his prayer language was 100%.

He could pray whenever he wanted to pray.

His mouth made the words to pray, but he just couldn't put it into English, and so that's what's happening is bypassing your brain.

So maybe you have some squirrely thoughts going on.

When you pray, you're praying straight to the Lord and it's bypassing your brain, and that power has authority over your thoughts, and that is negated.

Amen, those thoughts, hallelujah.

Well, real quick, just talking about being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

You know, jesus is the gift that God gave to the world, but the Holy Ghost is the gift that he gave to the church, and so it's a gift that can be received.

It's so easy to receive the Holy Spirit into our lives, and when you receive them, receive all of them and don't, like I've been preaching, don't allow anything to hold you back.

There's not one piece of baggage from your past that disqualifies you from receiving all that God has for you, amen.

And so, if we'll just turn, let's see 1 Corinthians, 14, 2.

I'm going to flip over there in my Bible, for he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God, for no one understands him.

However, in the spirit, he speaks mysteries.

And so, number one it allows you to speak to God.

Number two it allows you to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Not any other ghost, but not in the other spirit, but the Holy Spirit.

So you're not receiving some demonic spirit, no, it's the Holy Spirit.

Number three it allows you to move deeper in the things of God.

Like I said, that's the Holy Spirit.

But you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you and you shall be my witnesses unto me.

So you're being a witness unto God, right that you're in right standing and you have everything that God has for you.

You've received Amen, and so that's what being fulfilled with the Holy Spirit means.
