Staying Ready For Surprises

brought your Bibles this morning.

But if you did wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad, and we'll get into the Word.

Just a short message.

I'm not going to keep you long.

Let's just say this together Say, heavenly Father, I'm so glad to be here today.

I know that the weather is crazy.

It's no fun without power, but I've got the power of the Holy Ghost, I've got the power of the Word of God and I am overjoyed today to be with my brothers and sisters, people of like precious faith.

Today I'll receive encouragement from the Word of God that will keep me going, put me over the top, keep me in the victory in Jesus' name.

Amen, amen, praise God All right.

Hebrews 11, 7.

And while you're turning, find Matthew 24.

We'll start with Hebrews first.

Hebrews 11, verse 7.

Hebrews 11:7

Hall of Fame of Faith.

You knew I was going to preach on that.

Just preached about him recently, about Noah, hebrews 11, 7.

By faith or by an act of faith?

One version says by an act of faith Noah, being warned or informed of God, of things not seen as yet, moved, acted with fear, with reverence and obedience.

He moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house by the which he condemned the world.

I want you to.

I want you to look at that phrase.

By his act of obedience, of building the ark, he sealed the judgment of this world and became heir of the righteousness, which is by faith.

And then, in Matthew 24, jesus is speaking.

The 24th chapter is his answer to the disciples what are the signs of your glorious appearing and of the end of the age?

You know, he started just talking all about it there in Matthew 24 and 25.

25 talks about the judgment of the nations, the ethnos, the people groups, the gaim, the uncovenanted ones.

That's what we're living through right now.

Matthew 24, verse 37, jesus is saying for as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:37

For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And so today, I just want to be brief, I don't want to go a long time, but the message is entitled Staying Ready for Surprises.

Stay ready, let's be on the ready.

You know, god chose us to live right now.

We could have lived in any segment of history.

We could have lived in the other 19th century, the 18th century, and God chose this generation.

I call you the terminal generation because I believe that you're going to see, and I'm going to see, the return of the Lord that he's talking about.

But what if you're wrong?

Well, what if I'm right?

I mean, what if we're wrong?

I know where I'm headed.

If I'm wrong, I'll just be wrong up in heaven and y'all can argue with me for the rest of eternity and say you were wrong, pastor, and I won't be the only one wrong, I can assure you.

You know, noah was a man of faith and he was warned of God about an incomprehensible event.

I mean, there was no way for him to imagine how it would work.

There is no rain.

The earth in those years was watered by water vapor and there was no such thing as rain, there was no such thing as floods.

And yet he had to accept what God communicated to him and he had to keep it a long time.

I mean, he kept it over a hundred years.

Every day he was out there on the job building the ark, and it was a massive structure, and I can only imagine people then are like people now that are away from God and away from, of course they didn't have the word.

I mean, he had a personal word, but he didn't have the Bible, and every day he goes to work out there, working.

What are you doing today?

Why are you nuts?

You're crazy.

And he had to endure the persecution of the ones that were going to perish, and day by day by day, for over 100 years he did that and so he obeyed and it saved him.

It saved his house.

Maybe I'm stepping on the cord.

I feel like I'm stepping on a lot of cords.

We do the best.

Praise the Lord.

I've got an echo.

It's God speaking to you.

Remember Obama?

They made him sound like god.

All right, it saved him in his house, it saved the animal kingdom, but it condemned the world.

And I just I mean, I I've read that for many years and this morning I just got that revelation that what we're doing right now is ensuring the judgment of the nations.

Well, you know, you sound happy.

No, I'm happy in the fact that it's going to take judgment in order for there to be a harvest.

There can be no harvest unless there's judgment.

I mean God has got to separate the chaff from the wheat.

There's just no other way around it.

I mean you can't have a harvest with it all sitting there growing together.

The tares and the wheat have to be separated.

The tares and the wheat have to be separated.

The chaff and the wheat have to be separated.

There's two kinds of separation going on right now, and the more we are obedient to what God has informed us about.

You know, I just watched television, like many of you, last night.

I hope you got to watch some of the coverage of the attempted assassination attempt and you know God absolutely intervened.

I mean it just I'm going to let James give you later what he had about it.

It's just really intriguing what God gave James about the significance of his injury.

But I'll let him.

But bottom line, we all know God intervened.

I mean I mean I mean two millimeters more, I mean just a turn of the head in a different direction would have meant that we witness the assassination of an ex-president, a president that has run for his third run.

I mean this is amazing.

This is an amazing situation here, and had the devil done that, I wonder what would have happened to our nation, because you know, the news media and the Democrats ignore millions and millions of people that voted for him now coming up on three times.

And so you know God's got a plan, and so it's a humbling thing to know that God selected us to warn us 25 years ago, in March.

It's 25 years to wake up.

The church Didn't understand it.

I thought I was awake.

He started with me.

He said they're just like you, asleep in their beds where the covers pulled over their heads, and when I speak they think it's the devil.

See, I mean, that's exactly what happened to me that morning when God started growling and grouching at me.

I mean I wasn't used to that voice, I wasn't used to that military drill instructor kind of a voice, and especially coming from God.

I just assumed it was the devil.

That's how he talks.

No, it was God.

Wake up, wake up, get out of here, devil.

I'm not waking up.

It's Wednesday morning.

I've got church tonight.

I'm going to sleep in at six o'clock in the morning.

It's cold March 1st, five weeks after my pastor, john Osteen, went to heaven, my father in the faith and we were out discussing late at night with some other ministers.

I got to bed at three something in the morning and here it is at six.

I mean, you know, I wasn't ready to wake up, but here's this voice and finally, you know, I thought what if it's the Lord?

And the fear of God hit me.

I thought, oh my God, I better get up and, just like Samuel, little Samuel, when God started talking to little Samuel, you know, he went to Eli.

He said I hear this voice.

Did you call me?

No, eli, I didn't call you Eli, you Eli told him.

He said go back and just say speak, lord, for thy servant, hear it.

That's what I said.

I said speak, lord, my servant, hear it.

And he began to tell me wake up.

The church.

They're asleep in their beds, just like you, the covers pulled over their head.

When I speak, they think it's a devil.

Well, that's not a lot.

If I, if I knew 25 years ago what I know now, would I ask a few questions?

It's not wrong to ask a whole bunch of questions when you don't understand what the Lord is communicating to you.

I'm so glad that Noah on what information he had.

I mean, he kept asking questions till God showed him exactly how to build what he was building, how big it was going to be.

Can you imagine what Noah thought when he found out how big that boat was going to be?

What me?

And you know it took me a number of years to find out who was asleep, how they were asleep, what was the situation.

And all these years later, I mean I alternated between tears and joy last night, tears that God had selected us to wake up the church.

Take our part of it.

We're not doing the whole job, we're doing our part and since we've been obedient to that and since we've had so many prayer meetings and so many services and so many messages out of the word about it for these last 25 years, I know that God is pleased and every day that goes by, you know, let's just keep the faith.

I mean God's in control.

We're not responsible for the results.

We're responsible for what we are part, and that is to lift our voice.

And, unlike CBS news and different ones that I've heard, cnn, oh, we need to lower the temperature.

I intend to raise the temperature of the verbiage.

I intend to shout that much louder, that much louder Amen.

Isn't it funny?

I mean, they've been lying about this man for 10 years or thereabouts, and accusing him of every vile thing that anyone could be accused of.

I mean the lawfare, the ridiculous dual standard of justice, the impeachment over nothing, the I mean you just go through it and then culminated yesterday in a completely feckless secret service that shot the man after he fired.

I don't get it.

They had him in their sights, they saw him, they saw him with a gun and they didn't do anything.

And that guy had FBI on his back, by the way.

And so FBI, you know, am I the only one questioning whether they should be in charge of the investigation?

Is it going to be the same ones that raided President Trump's underwear drawer, or are we going to get to the bottom of what happened?

I believe eventually we will, but I'm not looking to the FBI.

I'm telling you right now.

So I intend to raise the heat.

You know we can't be silent in the face of this type of thing.

We're the voice of God on the earth.

Whatever we bind on earth is bound in the heavens.

Whatever we allow, whatever we permit, whether we just go ahead and lower the temperature and just bow down to all these CNN types and all these people that have been lying.

They've been lying for decades, they've been lying and now they've been caught and so we're to shut up.

Now we're supposed to shut up.

No, you shut up.

We've got the floor and we're going to talk and we are going to vote, we're going to show up.

So we're staying ready for surprises.

We haven't seen all the surprises that are coming.

I started looking for people to talk about what God had shown me.

I couldn't find anybody who wanted to hear it.

Then I heard about Brother Oral Roberts, the wake-up call.

I heard about Brother Oral Roberts, the wake-up call.

I heard about his visitation.

God opened the door for me to go and you know, you know the story to interview him.

He prophesied over Glorious Way Church and said that God would do things that would startle people.

It's pretty startling what God has revealed and what God has.

You know, and we thought we were.

We knew we weren't by ourself, but I couldn't find anybody to agree with me until I found brother Roberts, and that didn't last very long, because the church didn't want to hear what he had to say, and that visitation flew away like a bird, because I went to see him a year and a half later and he would not talk about it.

He would not talk about it.

Grieve not the spirit of God, holy Ghost, as a dove.

He's not a dove, but he's like a dove in this sense.

You can just kind of look crooked at a dove and it will veer Used to go dove hunting a lot, shoot them out of the sky.

I went with a group one time and the guy had his Western hat.

He had one you know big old western hat and he had it on sideways.

I thought he was just drunk.

You know, here it is.

I thought he just came to the, came to the hunt drunk.

I said what in the world you drinking already and what are you wearing?

You got your hat on sideways.

Yeah, they think I'm looking in a different direction.

I'm gonna fool these doves.

They're gonna right over me.

They think I'm looking this way and I'm looking right at them.

Oh bam, I couldn't find anybody to agree with me.

I couldn't find anybody that even wanted to watch the interview that I did.

Nobody wanted to hear it, nobody wanted to talk about it, nobody in my camp, people that I knew, you know my circle?

I mean absolutely no one.

But you know what?

We've met quite a number of people.

Now that we've been out, god has enlarged this footprint.

God has enlarged my God votes.

God has increased our influence across this country and now we're meeting up with them.

I'm telling you, folks, this is the days of Noah, as it was in the days of Noah.

What we're doing is ensuring that God is dropping the plumb line and I can assure you that all the people that are guilty about this attempted assassination and I suspect it was an inside job oh, you're saying conspiracy theory.

Yes, conspiracy theory.

Yes, I don't trust any of this government.

I don't trust any of them, and that that pains me to say that, because I've been a big FBI, cia, red, white and blue, and now you know I'm I'm forced to admit that they've been corrupted.

They've been corrupted.

I'm not talking about individual agents.

I'm sure there's some really good guys out there.

I mean the group that surrounded the president.

I heard Fox News say well, they tackled the president.

They did not tackle the president.

The president felt his ear get shot and he dropped just like a rock.

It was amazing to see he reacted to that bullet he did not give them a second shot at him.

He didn't go looking around like what happened?

You know he's down on the ground and then they piled on top of him.

I watched it over and over again.

His instincts are amazing, as opposed to the guy that's in the White House right now.

As opposed to the guy that's in the White House right now.

You can kind of see him staring off into space and getting three or four more shots in the head.

Let's lift our hands, father.

We thank you for protecting our president, and I'm calling him that by faith, because he's the only one out there.

Lord, we don't deify him.

We know he's a man.

We know he has faults.

We know that there are things that we probably don't quite agree on.

But you know what, lord?

You selected him and he has done things that I'm not aware of any man or woman ever doing.

He sacrificed.

He sacrificed to do what he's doing.

He sacrificed.

He sacrificed to do what he's doing.

He could have rode off into the sunset after his term was ended and he did not do it.

He stayed.

He didn't have to run the first time, but he did.

Lord, I just thank you for Donald J Trump and his family.

Thank you that you surround him with people that have his back.

Replace the ones that have failed, especially the director of the Secret Service.

She needs to be fired today.

Mayorkas needs to be fired today, but you know, we know that's probably not going to happen because Biden is the one that put him in charge.

So, lord, let everything hidden come to the light.

Thank you, lord.

We're going to pray more about it tonight.

Process the plan of God, but I just want you to stay ready for surprises.

Let's not get amazed.

You know you're on a battlefield.

You don't have time to get amazed.

People that get amazed on a battlefield you don't have time to get amazed.

People that get amazed on a battlefield do what they get shot between the eyes, they become casualties of the battle.

There's a lot of Christians that are becoming casualties of the battle because they've allowed themselves to be amazed and shocked.

Let's get over that, because that's emotion and that's not revelation.

God has warned us, he's told us over and over what we're going to be headed to and he has selected us to live right now.

So we have a grace we can draw on that will keep us and keep our composure and keep our eyes on the one who gives us the victory.

It's not a politician, it's not Donald Trump, it's not a.

It's not a politician, it's not Donald Trump, it's not a party.

I'm telling you, it's Jesus, the Lord of the armies of heaven.

We're going to.

We got our eyes fixed on him.

God's not through with America.

I got news for you.

God's not through, god's not going to let this thing end like this.

So stay ready for surprises.

I said surprises.

Well, surprises to you, surprises and surprises.

I said supplies.

Well, supplies is two, supplies is and surprises.

I can always stand more supplies.

How about you?

Number one stay close to the Holy Ghost, stay full, give out and refill.

Stay full, give out, refill, stay full, refill.

You know the whole thing over and over, just like finding gas this way.

It was kind of hard to find gasoline at early part of the week.

I got it was pretty exciting, but I already, you know, I had Gladys's car that was pretty full.

So I didn't buy, you know, I just parked mine and start driving hers.

But I didn't have to do that.

Thank God, I finally found gas.

Well, you know, we've got an inexhaustible supply of the Holy Ghost.

He's right here.

He's right here.

He's not way up there, he's right here.

Stay full of the Holy Ghost.

Number two obey the Holy Ghost.

Talking about staying ready for surprises and not allowing shock and surprise and oh and being amazed, and I just can't get over it.

Yes, you can.

We're living in the last days.

Jesus said it was going to be just like Noah, and what Noah did sealed the fate of the judgment.

Well, that's not positive.

Well, I know it's not positive, but it has to happen.

It has to happen.

I think about all the declarations we made after the cheating election of 2020.

I mean, we prayed, man, I tell you what.

We prayed some prayers and we made some declarations and it doesn't look like any of them were obeyed.

Well, it becomes the judgment of the people who resisted what we prayed.

So let's not be amazed when some of them start dropping dead.

It's going to be that group that drops dead, it's not going to be our group.

Pastor, man, I just read your Bible.

I mean, you know people like Herod.

You know people like Bar Jesus.

He didn't drop dead, but he was struck blind for a season.

Some of these people are going to have egg on their face.

So, obey the Holy Ghost.

Exercise yourself in following his lead.

I'm going to teach on that, coming up starting next week, being led by the spirit.

I've taught on it many times.

I'm going to keep teaching it because people need to keep hearing it.

People's.

Your faith needs to be built to where you can follow the Holy ghost.

The Holy ghost doesn't just talk to me.

He talks to every one of you, talks to your kids, he talks to these teenagers.

He talks to these children in children's church and obey his leading, even in little things.

In fact, it's the most important thing that you follow him, his leading, in little things, because if you'll do that, you start to build the confidence you need to obey him when he speaks about big things.

And third thing is pray.

You've got to have prayer life.

Pray for the hidden things to be revealed.

Pray for the leaders, especially Donald Trump and his whole family, and I like to pray this prayer right here.

Father, in Jesus' name, cause me to see what I need to see.

Cause me to hear what I need to hear.

Cause me to know what I need to know so that I can know what I need to do, so I can do what I need to do.

A lot of times we want to do something without knowing, we want to do something without seeing and hearing.

Well, that's, that's the wrong order.

Let's, let's pray all their other and then, last, let's.

We want to do what we need to do.

Know to do, and God will give you inside information, just like he did Noah, and you'll be delivered from being surprised.

Come on, lift your hands right now.

And he told her, he said For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time and lower the temperature, then shall their enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place.

But thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed.

And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

That's what God spoke to me last night about GWC.

He founded this church from before the foundation of the world.

He's been with us every step of the way and he will continue to be.

Hallelujah, let's lift our hands.

Father.

We thank you for the word.

Thank you for delivering us from being surprised.

Lord, we're going to keep our composure on the battlefield.

We're going to stay, lord.

We're going to stay alert.

We're going to be sensitive to the things of God and to the kingdom of God.

That is our priority, now and forever.

We're so honored and humbled that you called us for such a time as this.
