  1. For those of you who are new to the church, maybe watching at home or Zoom, my name is

  2. Sean.

  3. I'm one of the pastors of Trinity Cambridge Church, and it's my joy and privilege to preach

  4. God's Word to you this evening.

  5. Let me pray and seek God's help before we start.

  6. Heavenly Father, we come together as Christians.

  7. We are not called by the name of any other, but by the name of Christ, our Savior, our

  8. Lord.

  9. And as such, as Christians, we want to be about Christ's business.

  10. We want to be characterized by Christ's likeness.

  11. We want to be driven by Christ's passion, His priority.

  12. And to that end, we need the help of your Holy Spirit.

  13. So please help us now this evening as we incline our ears, incline our hearts toward you, toward

  14. your Word.

  15. Speak to us.

  16. We are desperate to hear from you.

  17. We need your Word.

  18. Guide us.

  19. Affect our hearts, our minds.

  20. In Jesus' name we pray.

  21. Amen.

  22. Philippians chapter 1, verses 12 to 26.

    Philippians 1:12–26

  23. I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance

  24. the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the Holy Imperial Guard and to all the rest that

  25. my imprisonment is for Christ.

  26. And most of the brothers, having become confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, are much more

  27. bold to speak the Word without fear.

  28. Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from goodwill.

  29. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for defense of the gospel.

  30. The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, but thinking to afflict me in

  31. my imprisonment.

  32. What then?

  33. Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in

  34. that I rejoice.

  35. Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus

  36. Christ, this will turn out for my deliverance.

  37. As it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full

  38. courage now as always, Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

  39. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

  40. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me, yet which I shall choose, I cannot

  41. tell.

  42. I am hard-pressed between the two.

  43. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.

  44. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.

  45. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in

  46. the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus because of my coming to you

  47. again.

  48. This is God's holy and authoritative word.

  49. The name of the Midwestern state, Nebraska, comes from the Native American Oto language,

  50. word that means flat river.

  51. That's because there's a prominent river that runs through the state that's very shallow.

  52. The river was named Platte River by French explorers because the French word for plat,

  53. flat is plat.

  54. And this is the river that was made famous by the American journalist Edgar Nye, who described

  55. this river in 1889 as being a mile wide and an inch deep.

  56. Since then, the expression has been used by, in a pejorative way, by many people to describe

  57. those who seem to have only superficial knowledge about many things.

  58. And this seems to be an apt description of our world, of the world we live in.

  59. In the world full of, I guess, the internet and Wikipedia, many people's knowledge is a mile

  60. wide but an inch deep.

  61. In the world of social media, many people's relationships are a mile wide but an inch deep.

  62. In the world of YouTube and TikTok, many people's interests are a mile wide but an inch deep.

  63. As Christians, we too run this risk in our relationship with and service to Jesus Christ.

  64. We can be a Christian for many years and yet have very little depth.

  65. We can be a Christian for many years and yet have very little impact.

  66. And how can we avoid this?

  67. Philippians 1, 12-26 commends the example of the Apostle Paul to us and teaches us that

  68. we should live with single-minded devotion to the advance of the gospel in and through us.

  69. The entire book of Philippians can be outlined in terms of single-minded devotion to Christ.

  70. Theologian Norman Geisler provides a useful outline in his popular survey of the New Testament.

  71. Chapter 1 speaks of the philosophy of Christian living, Christ our life.

  72. It says, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

  73. Chapter 2 speaks of the pattern of Christian living, Christ our mind.

  74. Have this mind among yourselves which is yours in Christ Jesus.

  75. Chapter 3 speaks of the prize of Christian living, Christ our goal.

  76. I press on toward the goal to win the prize of the upper call in Christ Jesus.

  77. Chapter 4 speaks of the power of Christian living, Christ our strength.

  78. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

  79. And in our passage today, we see how Christ was Paul's life.

  80. In verses 12 to 18, we see how Paul lived solely for the advance of the gospel.

  81. And in verses 18 to 26, we see how Paul lived for the Philippians' advance in the gospel.

  82. So let's first look at how Paul lived for the advance of the gospel with single-minded devotion.

  83. It was customary in ancient letters of friendship to begin with a greeting,

  84. as Matt preached on verses 1 to 11 last week,

  85. and then to address the recipients.

  86. That happened all in the first 11 verses.

  87. But usually what follows in letters of friendship in the ancient world,

  88. after the greeting and the address,

  89. is the update, the personal update.

  90. You tell them about how you're doing, what your condition's like.

  91. And that begins usually with this exact phrase that Paul uses at the beginning of verse 12.

  92. I want you to know that...

  93. So this is a very formal part of the way ancient people wrote letters.

  94. So this is the section that deals with Paul's personal update,

  95. which is why it's not surprising that he is telling them about his imprisonment.

  96. But interestingly, even though that's the section he's in,

  97. Paul mentions very little about his living conditions,

  98. how he is doing, his needs, how the guards are treating him.

  99. He says nothing about his health.

  100. But he has one overriding concern in this section,

  101. something he wants to make sure that all the Philippian believers know,

  102. and that is this, I want you to know, brothers,

  103. and that's brothers and sisters, because it's plural, including, inclusive.

  104. I want you to know, brothers and sisters,

  105. that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.

  106. That's what Paul wants the Philippian believers to know.

  107. Above all else, I want you to know that this has served the advance of the gospel.

  108. What has happened to Paul, of course, is his imprisonment.

  109. Most likely in Rome, where Paul was under house arrest from 60 to 62 A.D.,

  110. as recorded in Acts 28.

  111. This is probably corroborated by verse 13, which mentions the imperial guard,

  112. and also chapter 4, verse 22, where Paul relays the greetings of the Caesar's household

  113. to the Philippian church.

  114. So then, if he's in prison in Rome, this was a fulfillment.

  115. Being in Rome was a fulfillment of a long-held desire of Paul's

  116. to visit the church in Rome and minister to them.

  117. He talked about this openly in his letter to Romans, chapter 1, 9 to 12.

    Romans 1 chapter mention

  118. But of course, he had envisioned ministering to the Roman believers

  119. in much different circumstances,

  120. being able to visit the churches,

  121. to speak in the synagogues,

  122. to visit houses.

  123. But instead, he is in Rome as a prisoner,

  124. without the freedom to do any such thing.

  125. Nevertheless, Paul reassures the Philippian brothers and sisters

  126. that despite expectations to the contrary,

  127. what has happened to him has meant,

  128. has served the advance of the gospel.

  129. This advance has happened in two ways.

  130. First, Paul says in verse 13,

  131. so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard

  132. and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ.

  133. The imperial guard in charge of Paul would have been on a rotation,

  134. which means Paul would have had access to many different guards.

  135. And eventually, through word of mouth,

  136. he came to be known to the entire imperial guard

  137. and to all the rest, others who work in that area,

  138. that Paul's imprisonment is for Christ.

  139. At the very least, this means that everyone around Paul

  140. came to learn that Paul was arrested

  141. he was in serving time in prison because of his faith in Jesus

  142. and because of his ministry on behalf of Jesus

  143. for the sake of Christ.

  144. But likely, Paul means something more than that also

  145. because the literal translation of the phrase is,

  146. my imprisonment is in Christ.

  147. It doesn't say for Christ in the Greek.

  148. It's literally in Christ.

  149. And that's one of Paul's favorite expressions

  150. that occurs numerous times in almost all of his letters

  151. and ten times in the book of Philippians alone.

  152. It captures the idea that a Christian is united with Christ

  153. through faith in him,

  154. that the church is the body of Christ,

  155. the one body that's governed by

  156. and follows the pattern of its head, Jesus Christ.

  157. So later in chapter 3, verses 10 to 11,

  158. Paul speaks of sharing Christ's sufferings,

  159. becoming like him in his death,

  160. that by any means possible he may attain the resurrection from the dead.

  161. In other words, Paul sees his suffering

  162. as following the pattern of Christ,

  163. as a necessary part of following in the footsteps of his master.

  164. As 1 Peter 2, 21 puts it,

  165. For to this you have been called,

  166. because Christ also suffered for you,

  167. leaving you an example,

  168. so that you might follow in his steps.

  169. The word example refers to the alphabet stencil

  170. that children use to learn how to write the alphabet

  171. that the kids use.

  172. So Christ is the stencil,

  173. the pattern that we're supposed to,

  174. that our lives are supposed to be written over.

  175. And Paul sees his imprisonment,

  176. his imprisonment as depicting

  177. the gospel of the suffering Messiah.

  178. And he loses no time telling the guards about it.

  179. And Paul's not just saying this to save face

  180. in light of an embarrassing imprisonment.

  181. The gospel really did advance during Paul's imprisonment.

  182. Because as I mentioned earlier,

  183. he relays a greeting from Caesar's household

  184. in chapter 4, verse 22.

  185. I want us to think about that for a moment.

  186. Because pride is endemic to humanity.

  187. Because of that, we tend to assume

  188. that the greatest triumphs of our lives

  189. are when God is most active in our lives.

  190. We tend to assume that because of our pride.

  191. But often, the lowest moments of your life,

  192. when you're most broken,

  193. when you're most desperate,

  194. when you're at the end of your rope,

  195. when you're most humiliated,

  196. they are precisely the moments

  197. when God is doing His greatest work.

  198. In the weakest parts of your life,

  199. your illness, your infirmity,

  200. your incapability,

  201. God's power is made perfect.

  202. So let's not assume that just because

  203. we can't discern what God is doing,

  204. that God's doing nothing.

  205. God is at work.

  206. He was moving in a powerful way

  207. during Paul's imprisonment.

  208. The human eye, I hear,

  209. sees only about 0.0035%

  210. of the electromagnetic spectrum.

  211. What is true in the physical realm

  212. is also true in the spiritual realm.

  213. Though hidden from the view of many,

  214. the gospel was advancing

  215. among the imperial guard

  216. through Paul's imprisonment.

  217. The gospel also advanced in the second way

  218. during Paul's imprisonment.

  219. It says in verse 14,

  220. And most of the brothers,

  221. having become confident in the Lord

  222. by my imprisonment,

  223. are much more bold to speak the word

  224. without fear.

  225. Instead of cowering under persecution,

  226. it says most of the Christian

  227. brothers and sisters,

  228. they grew in their confidence in the Lord,

  229. in watching their fellow brothers suffer

  230. for Christ's sake.

  231. They said to themselves,

  232. If our brother Paul,

  233. even under Caesar's custody in Rome,

  234. is not cowering in fear,

  235. but boldly declaring the gospel,

  236. we who are free

  237. should all the more

  238. proclaim the gospel.

  239. So most of the believers

  240. became much more bold,

  241. it says,

  242. to speak the word

  243. without fear.

  244. Quite far from silencing the church,

  245. which was probably the intention,

  246. Paul's imprisonment spurred on

  247. the believers

  248. to bolder witness.

  249. As we can see,

  250. Paul conceives of the events

  251. of the gospel

  252. in terms of speaking the word.

  253. There's a lot of speaking words

  254. used in this passage,

  255. speak,

  256. preach,

  257. proclaim,

  258. and that's because

  259. the gospel literally means

  260. good news.

  261. It is news of the person

  262. and work of Jesus,

  263. the messianic king.

  264. And like all news,

  265. it needs to be spoken.

  266. It has to be relayed to others.

  267. That's precisely what evangelism is.

  268. The word evangelism

  269. is a transliteration

  270. of the Greek word for gospel.

  271. And this is what Paul lived for

  272. and died for.

  273. Unfortunately,

  274. in our day and age,

  275. as Bible commentator Gordon Fee observes,

  276. quote,

  277. evangelism has become

  278. something of a dirty word.

  279. They say,

  280. who are you to impose

  281. your beliefs on me?

  282. Keep your religious views

  283. to yourself.

  284. People say,

  285. but these things,

  286. but the reality is,

  287. even in our relativistic culture,

  288. people get downright dogmatic

  289. when what they deem to be

  290. a universal truth

  291. is questioned.

  292. Quoting Bernard Baruch,

  293. they say,

  294. every man has the right

  295. to an opinion,

  296. but no man has the right

  297. to be wrong in his facts.

  298. Haven't you heard that before?

  299. This contradicted response

  300. stems from the fact

  301. that since the Enlightenment,

  302. religious truth claims

  303. have been relegated

  304. to the realm of private opinion

  305. rather than public fact.

  306. But that the Son of God

  307. took on human flesh

  308. and was born,

  309. that He died on the cross

  310. for our sins,

  311. that He was raised

  312. on the third day

  313. to give us eternal life.

  314. This is not a matter

  315. of private opinion

  316. or personal preference.

  317. this is a matter

  318. of reality,

  319. what is true.

  320. And for that reason,

  321. Paul devoted his life

  322. telling others about it

  323. unapologetically,

  324. unabashedly.

  325. unabashedly.

  326. Notice all the words

  327. related to the way

  328. we ought to proclaim

  329. the gospel.

  330. Verse 14,

  331. confident in the Lord.

  332. Verse 14,

  333. much more bold,

  334. without fear.

  335. Verse 20,

  336. with full courage.

  337. This is the way

  338. we ought to proclaim

  339. the gospel,

  340. brothers and sisters.

  341. Do not be ashamed

  342. of the gospel

  343. for it is the power

  344. of God for salvation

  345. for those who believe.

  346. It's curious to me

  347. that some evangelical Christians

  348. who on the one hand

  349. vehemently denounce

  350. the prosperity gospel,

  351. saying that that's

  352. a false gospel,

  353. arguing that God

  354. does not promise

  355. to make us healthy

  356. and wealthy

  357. for following Him

  358. and being faithful to Him.

  359. They do that on the one hand,

  360. but then on the other hand,

  361. they live like promoting

  362. other people's health

  363. and wealth

  364. is the gospel.

  365. That is not the gospel.

  366. That is good work,

  367. yes,

  368. that every true Christian

  369. should do,

  370. but that's not

  371. the good news

  372. of Jesus Christ.

  373. No matter how much

  374. social justice

  375. prevails on earth,

  376. no matter how much

  377. wealth is spread out

  378. among the poor

  379. throughout the world,

  380. no matter how much

  381. people's health

  382. is improved

  383. by advances

  384. in medicine,

  385. if people do not

  386. hear and believe

  387. the good news

  388. of Jesus Christ,

  389. they will perish forever.

  390. And for us,

  391. as Christians

  392. who are the unique

  393. bearers of this message,

  394. we have a responsibility

  395. to tell people

  396. about this.

  397. we should live

  398. with the single-minded

  399. devotion that Paul had

  400. for the advance

  401. of the gospel.

  402. But as the phrase

  403. most of the brothers

  404. in verse 14

  405. conveys,

  406. not all of the brothers

  407. were speaking the gospel

  408. out of growing confidence

  409. in the Lord.

  410. Some of them

  411. were driven

  412. by baser motives.

  413. And that's what Paul

  414. addresses in verses

  415. 15 to 18.

  416. He writes,

  417. Some indeed

  418. preach Christ

  419. from envy and rivalry,

  420. but others

  421. from goodwill.

  422. The latter do it

  423. out of love,

  424. knowing that I am put here

  425. for the defense

  426. of the gospel.

  427. The former

  428. proclaim Christ

  429. out of selfish ambition,

  430. not sincerely,

  431. but thinking to afflict

  432. me in my imprisonment.

  433. While some of the believers

  434. preach Christ

  435. out of goodwill,

  436. out of love,

  437. in truth for Paul,

  438. trying to pick up

  439. his slack

  440. while he is in prison,

  441. other believers

  442. preach Christ

  443. out of envy and rivalry,

  444. out of selfish ambition,

  445. in pretense.

  446. They deemed Paul's absence

  447. to be a great opportunity

  448. for themselves,

  449. to elevate their own profiles,

  450. and to enlarge

  451. their own followings,

  452. steal Paul's sheep,

  453. so to speak.

  454. And since both categories

  455. of these people

  456. belong to the category

  457. of brothers,

  458. in verse 14,

  459. these insincere people

  460. Paul has in mind

  461. are not the opponents

  462. that he speaks later of

  463. in verses 28 to 30

  464. and in other parts

  465. of this letter.

  466. They're not enemies.

  467. They're immature believers,

  468. motivated by selfish ambition,

  469. but they're believers

  470. nonetheless.

  471. And for that reason,

  472. Paul chooses

  473. not to be petty,

  474. but large-hearted

  475. in his perspective

  476. concerning them.

  477. He says in verse 18,

  478. what then?

  479. Only that in every way,

  480. whether in pretense

  481. or in truth,

  482. Christ is proclaimed,

  483. and in that

  484. I rejoice.

  485. In essence,

  486. he's saying,

  487. so what?

  488. So what?

  489. That they're in it

  490. for personal gain.

  491. They're doing it

  492. to kick me

  493. when I'm down.

  494. Sure,

  495. but so what?

  496. At least they're

  497. proclaiming Christ.

  498. At least people

  499. are hearing the gospel

  500. because of them.

  501. Let's be sure

  502. Paul's not a masochist.

  503. He's not enjoying the pain.

  504. I'm sure this hurts him.

  505. It hurts him

  506. that people

  507. who should love him

  508. and support him

  509. are seeking to undermine him.

  510. It hurts.

  511. But nonetheless,

  512. because Paul

  513. is not concerned

  514. for his own glory,

  515. but for the glory

  516. of Christ,

  517. because Paul's

  518. not looking out

  519. for his own interest,

  520. but for the interest

  521. of his Savior,

  522. he rejoices

  523. in the fact

  524. that Christ

  525. is proclaimed.

  526. It's easy for us,

  527. brothers and sisters,

  528. as Christians

  529. living for the Lord,

  530. to conflate

  531. our personal agendas

  532. with that of Christ.

  533. A good indicator

  534. that that's happening

  535. is when we're disappointed

  536. to see the gospel advance,

  537. to see Christ honored

  538. without us.

  539. when others are used

  540. by God,

  541. when others have

  542. a more prominent

  543. place,

  544. role

  545. in the service

  546. of God,

  547. do you still

  548. rejoice

  549. that God

  550. is glorified?

  551. Paul did.

  552. Even when people

  553. were preaching

  554. the gospel

  555. and gaining followers

  556. at his expense,

  557. even when people

  558. were doing this

  559. intentionally

  560. to spite him,

  561. Paul rejoiced

  562. because he had

  563. a joy rooted

  564. in Christ

  565. that transcended

  566. his ego.

  567. And that kind

  568. of joy

  569. belongs only

  570. to those

  571. who live

  572. with single-minded

  573. devotion

  574. to the advance

  575. of the gospel.

  576. Paul lived

  577. like this

  578. because he understood

  579. that he was

  580. a servant

  581. of Christ Jesus,

  582. which is the way

  583. he identified himself

  584. at the beginning

  585. of this letter.

  586. the translation

  587. servant

  588. moderates the word

  589. a little bit

  590. because the actual

  591. word is slave.

  592. Paul calls himself

  593. a slave

  594. of Christ.

  595. While it's true

  596. that in the New

  597. Testament times

  598. the slavery

  599. differed greatly

  600. from modern

  601. translating slavery

  602. in important ways,

  603. one thing

  604. that they had

  605. in common

  606. was that a slave

  607. was someone

  608. whose person

  609. and service

  610. belonged wholly

  611. to another.

  612. that's the way

  613. a slave

  614. is defined

  615. in the book,

  616. a New Testament

  617. metaphor,

  618. slave of Christ,

  619. a New Testament

  620. metaphor for total

  621. devotion to Christ.

  622. Some might say

  623. that that's too

  624. demeaning,

  625. but for Paul

  626. it was an honor

  627. that he wore

  628. proudly.

  629. Bible scholar

  630. Murray Harris

  631. in his book

  632. that I just

  633. mentioned

  634. analyzes

  635. all the texts

  636. describing the slave

  637. using the metaphor

  638. of the slave

  639. and he comes up

  640. with three

  641. characteristics

  642. of a slave,

  643. in particular

  644. slave of Christ.

  645. Humble submission

  646. to the person

  647. of Christ.

  648. This involves,

  649. I'm reading

  650. from the quote

  651. here,

  652. this involves

  653. an acknowledgement

  654. that a supreme

  655. Lord,

  656. he has absolute

  657. and exclusive

  658. rights to the

  659. will and affections

  660. and energy

  661. now and forever.

  662. It is the case

  663. of the devotion

  664. of the whole person

  665. for the whole life.

  666. Second,

  667. unquestioning obedience

  668. to the master's will.

  669. Slavery,

  670. we say,

  671. involves subjection

  672. to another's will,

  673. voluntarily or

  674. involuntarily.

  675. The faithful slave

  676. is basically

  677. the obedient slave,

  678. just as the first

  679. requirement for

  680. commendable military

  681. service is compliance

  682. with commands.

  683. Third,

  684. an exclusive

  685. preoccupation

  686. with pleasing

  687. Christ.

  688. Believers

  689. give satisfaction

  690. to their master

  691. not only by obeying

  692. him,

  693. but also by devising

  694. innovative ways

  695. of pleasing him.

  696. We make it

  697. our ambition,

  698. says Paul,

  699. to be constantly

  700. pleasing to him.

  701. This was Paul's

  702. magnificent obsession,

  703. an obsession

  704. that had the effect

  705. of expelling

  706. inferior

  707. albeit legitimate

  708. pursuits.

  709. Brothers and sisters,

  710. that is what

  711. we are,

  712. slaves of Christ.

  713. What honor.

  714. Yes,

  715. we're more than

  716. slaves.

  717. Jesus called us

  718. his friends.

  719. Yes,

  720. we are adopted

  721. children of God.

  722. They are all true.

  723. But those truths

  724. do not negate

  725. this truth

  726. that we are

  727. slaves of Christ.

  728. Paul says

  729. in 1 Corinthians 7,

  730. 22-23

  731. that a Christian

  732. is a slave

  733. of Christ.

  734. The same word

  735. used here.

  736. He continues,

  737. you are bought

  738. with a price.

  739. Do not become

  740. slaves of men.

  741. Brothers and sisters,

  742. we have been

  743. bought with the

  744. precious blood

  745. of Jesus.

  746. We belong

  747. wholly to him

  748. because he paid

  749. the price.

  750. And so we cannot

  751. belong to another.

  752. We cannot serve

  753. another.

  754. We cannot be

  755. slaves to another.

  756. We only have

  757. one master.

  758. What is the

  759. ultimate aim

  760. of your life?

  761. Whom do you

  762. seek to

  763. please

  764. with your

  765. life?

  766. Is it

  767. yourself?

  768. Your spouse?

  769. Your boyfriend?

  770. Girlfriend?

  771. Your boss?

  772. We should live

  773. with single-minded

  774. devotion

  775. to the advance

  776. of the gospel.

  777. Paul gave

  778. his life

  779. for this

  780. and he also

  781. sought

  782. the Philippian

  783. believers'

  784. advance

  785. in the gospel

  786. as well.

  787. That's what we

  788. see in the

  789. rest of the

  790. passage.

  791. Paul just

  792. said in the

  793. first half of

  794. verse 18

  795. that he rejoices

  796. in the fact

  797. that Christ

  798. is proclaimed.

  799. And then he

  800. says again,

  801. yes,

  802. and I will

  803. rejoice

  804. anticipating the

  805. future.

  806. And then he

  807. gives the

  808. reason for his

  809. future rejoicing

  810. in verses 19

  811. to 20.

  812. for I know

  813. that through

  814. your prayers

  815. and the

  816. help of the

  817. spirit of

  818. Jesus Christ

  819. this will

  820. turn out

  821. for my

  822. deliverance

  823. as it is

  824. my eager

  825. expectation

  826. and hope

  827. that I will

  828. not be

  829. at all

  830. ashamed

  831. but that

  832. with full

  833. courage

  834. now as

  835. always

  836. Christ

  837. will be

  838. honored

  839. in my

  840. body

  841. whether

  842. by life

  843. or by

  844. death.

  845. The word

  846. deliverance

  847. is the

  848. same word

  849. that's often

  850. translated

  851. salvation

  852. which makes

  853. the meaning

  854. of this

  855. verse a

  856. little bit

  857. ambiguous.

  858. Is Paul

  859. speaking of

  860. deliverance

  861. from prison

  862. or is he

  863. speaking of

  864. his eternal

  865. salvation?

  866. Is Paul

  867. anticipating

  868. that he

  869. will be

  870. declared

  871. innocent

  872. and released

  873. from prison

  874. or is he

  875. speaking of

  876. his ultimate

  877. salvation

  878. after

  879. bearing

  880. faithful

  881. witness

  882. to Jesus

  883. whether it

  884. ends in

  885. his

  886. acquittal

  887. or execution?

  888. I think

  889. the answer

  890. is both.

  891. I think

  892. Paul left

  893. that

  894. ambiguous

  895. intentionally

  896. because there

  897. is a

  898. tension

  899. that runs

  900. through

  901. verses 19

  902. to 26

  903. all throughout

  904. between

  905. Paul's

  906. anticipation

  907. of his

  908. release

  909. and

  910. his

  911. the

  912. possibility

  913. of execution.

  914. He

  915. expects

  916. to be

  917. released

  918. for the

  919. good of

  920. the

  921. Philippians

  922. but he

  923. knows

  924. that his

  925. death

  926. will mean

  927. ultimate

  928. gain

  929. his

  930. ultimate

  931. salvation

  932. and so

  933. basically

  934. Paul's

  935. saying

  936. hey

  937. it's a

  938. win-win

  939. situation

  940. for me

  941. whether

  942. I am

  943. vindicated

  944. or executed

  945. I expect

  946. salvation

  947. in saying

  948. this

  949. he's also

  950. echoing

  951. Job 13

  952. 15

  953. to 16

  954. in the

  955. Greek

  956. translation

  957. of the

  958. Old Testament

  959. which Paul

  960. would have

  961. been familiar

  962. with

  963. the phrase

  964. this will

  965. turn out

  966. for my

  967. deliverance

  968. is found

  969. in its

  970. exact

  971. form

  972. in Job

  973. 13

  974. 16

  975. where Job

  976. says

  977. this

  978. though

  979. he slay

  980. me

  981. I will

  982. hope

  983. in him

  984. yet

  985. I will

  986. argue

  987. my ways

  988. to his

  989. face

  990. this

  991. will

  992. turn

  993. out

  994. for

  995. my

  996. salvation

  997. that

  998. the

  999. godless

  1000. shall

  1001. not

  1002. come

  1003. before

  1004. him

  1005. Job

  1006. in the

  1007. midst

  1008. of his

  1009. suffering

  1010. which he

  1011. knows

  1012. is happening

  1013. under God's

  1014. sovereign

  1015. jurisdiction

  1016. nonetheless

  1017. entrusts

  1018. himself

  1019. to God

  1020. his

  1021. righteous

  1022. judgment

  1023. and he

  1024. anticipates

  1025. that when

  1026. he does

  1027. he will

  1028. ultimately

  1029. be

  1030. vindicated

  1031. the

  1032. language

  1033. of his

  1034. hope

  1035. not

  1036. being

  1037. ashamed

  1038. also

  1039. echoes

  1040. Romans

  1041. 5

  1042. 5

  1043. which

  1044. says

  1045. hope

  1046. in the

  1047. glory

  1048. of God

  1049. does

  1050. not

  1051. put

  1052. us

  1053. to

  1054. shame

  1055. because

  1056. God's

  1057. love

  1058. has been

  1059. poured

  1060. out

  1061. into

  1062. our

  1063. hearts

  1064. through

  1065. the

  1066. Holy

  1067. Spirit

  1068. who

  1069. has

  1070. been

  1071. given

  1072. to

  1073. us

  1074. if

  1075. Paul

  1076. had

  1077. been

  1078. hoping

  1079. merely

  1080. for

  1081. acquittal

  1082. and

  1083. survival

  1084. then

  1085. this

  1086. hope

  1087. could

  1088. easily

  1089. have

  1090. been

  1091. disappointed

  1092. but

  1093. that's

  1094. not

  1095. what

  1096. Paul

  1097. was

  1098. hoping

  1099. for

  1100. his

  1101. hope

  1102. was

  1103. that

  1104. he

  1105. would

  1106. bear

  1107. faithful

  1108. witness

  1109. to

  1110. Jesus

  1111. till

  1112. the

  1113. end

  1114. with

  1115. full

  1116. courage

  1117. and

  1118. so

  1119. that

  1120. always

  1121. Christ

  1122. will

  1123. be

  1124. honored

  1125. in

  1126. his

  1127. body

  1128. whether

  1129. by

  1130. life

  1131. or

  1132. by

  1133. death

  1134. and

  1135. this

  1136. hope

  1137. for

  1138. Christ

  1139. honor

  1140. which

  1141. will

  1142. end

  1143. in

  1144. Paul's

  1145. salvation

  1146. whether

  1147. in

  1148. life

  1149. or

  1150. death

  1151. will

  1152. not

  1153. be

  1154. disappointed

  1155. the

  1156. word

  1157. honor

  1158. means

  1159. to

  1160. magnify

  1161. something

  1162. here

  1163. to

  1164. enlarge

  1165. something

  1166. Paul

  1167. once

  1168. whatever

  1169. happens

  1170. to

  1171. him

  1172. whether

  1173. it's

  1174. vindication

  1175. or

  1176. execution

  1177. to

  1178. serve

  1179. as

  1180. a

  1181. magnifying

  1182. glass

  1183. that

  1184. enlarges

  1185. God

  1186. in

  1187. the

  1188. view

  1189. of

  1190. his

  1191. observers

  1192. that

  1193. is

  1194. once

  1195. again

  1196. Paul's

  1197. all

  1198. consuming

  1199. desire

  1200. to

  1201. glorify

  1202. God

  1203. to

  1204. bring

  1205. attention

  1206. to

  1207. God

  1208. even

  1209. at

  1210. the

  1211. expense

  1212. of

  1213. his

  1214. own

  1215. life

  1216. and

  1217. Paul's

  1218. confident

  1219. of

  1220. this

  1221. outcome

  1222. not

  1223. because

  1224. he

  1225. has

  1226. such

  1227. a

  1228. high

  1229. view

  1230. of

  1231. himself

  1232. not

  1233. because

  1234. he

  1235. trusts

  1236. so

  1237. much

  1238. in

  1239. his

  1240. willpower

  1241. or

  1242. resolve

  1243. or

  1244. in

  1245. his

  1246. eloquence

  1247. but

  1248. because

  1249. he

  1250. trusts

  1251. in

  1252. the

  1253. Lord

  1254. he

  1255. says

  1256. in

  1257. verse

  1258. 19

  1259. for

  1260. I

  1261. know

  1262. that

  1263. through

  1264. your

  1265. prayers

  1266. and

  1267. the

  1268. help

  1269. of

  1270. the

  1271. spirit

  1272. of

  1273. Jesus

  1274. Christ

  1275. this

  1276. will

  1277. turn

  1278. out

  1279. for

  1280. my

  1281. deliverance

  1282. Paul

  1283. understood

  1284. well

  1285. the

  1286. connection

  1287. between

  1288. prayer

  1289. and

  1290. the

  1291. power

  1292. of

  1293. the

  1294. Holy

  1295. Spirit

  1296. because

  1297. it

  1298. was

  1299. when

  1300. Ananias

  1301. prayed

  1302. for

  1303. him

  1304. that

  1305. he

  1306. was

  1307. filled

  1308. with

  1309. the

  1310. Holy

  1311. Spirit

  1312. in

  1313. Acts

    Acts 9 chapter mention

  1314. chapter

  1315. 9

  1316. we

  1317. see

  1318. this

  1319. connection

  1320. over

  1321. and

  1322. over

  1323. again

  1324. throughout

  1325. scripture

  1326. Acts

  1327. 4

  1328. it

  1329. was

  1330. when

  1331. the

  1332. believers

  1333. raised

  1334. their

  2046. 1

  2047. 21

  2050. Paul

  2051. clearly

  2052. contrasts

  2053. remaining

  2054. in the

  2056. with

  2057. departing

  2058. and

  2059. being

  2062. when

  2072. Christ

  2073. it

  2074. leaves

  2075. the

  2076. body

  2077. this

  2078. is

  2079. why

  2080. it's

  2081. called

  2092. then

  2093. it's

  2094. when

  2095. Christ

  2096. returns

  2097. and

  2098. our

  2099. bodies

  2100. are

  2101. resurrected

  2102. again

  2103. that

  2107. reunited

  2108. with

  2109. soul

  2110. and

  2111. body

  2112. fully

  2113. redeemed

  2114. and

  2115. that's

  2116. when

  2121. is

  2122. ultimately

  2123. defeated

  2124. for

  2125. Paul

  2126. this

  2127. is

  2128. far

  2129. better

  2130. than

  2131. remaining

  2132. alive

  2133. in the

  2134. flesh

  2135. can

  2136. you

  2137. say

  2143. I

  2145. impending

  2146. intentionally

  2147. because

  2148. death

  2149. is

  2150. impending

  2151. for

  2152. all

  2153. of

  2154. us

  2155. unless

  2156. Christ

  2157. returns

  2158. before

  2159. that

  2160. we

  2161. will

  2162. all

  2163. die

  2164. sooner

  2165. or

  2166. later

  2167. maybe

  2168. tomorrow

  2169. maybe

  2170. 70

  2171. years

  2172. from

  2173. now

  2174. unless

  2175. Christ

  2176. returns

  2177. before

  2178. that

  2179. regardless

  2180. of how

  2181. long

  2182. we

  2183. live

  2184. compared

  2185. to

  2186. eternity

  2187. with

  2188. God

  2189. our

  2190. lives

  2191. are

  2192. but

  2193. a

  2194. breath

  2195. and

  2196. one

  2197. thing

  2198. that

  2199. I'm

  2200. grateful

  2201. to

  2202. God

  2203. for

  2204. about

  2205. COVID

  2206. 19

  2207. is

  2208. that

  2209. it

  2210. has

  2211. awakened

  2212. us

  2213. to

  2214. this

  2215. reality

  2216. of

  2217. the

  2218. universality

  2219. and

  2220. the

  2221. inevitability

  2222. of

  2223. death

  2224. and

  2225. this

  2226. creates

  2227. an

  2228. opportunity

  2229. for

  2230. us

  2231. to

  2232. witness

  2233. to

  2234. others

  2235. about

  2236. Christ

  2237. who

  2238. is

  2239. the

  2240. resurrection

  2241. and

  2242. the

  2243. life

  2244. because

  2245. people

  2246. of

  2247. this

  2248. world

  2249. tremble

  2250. with

  2251. fear

  2252. at

  2253. the

  2254. prospect

  2255. of

  2256. death

  2257. why

  2258. because

  2259. they

  2260. love

  2261. this

  2262. life

  2263. because

  2264. they

  2265. love

  2266. this

  2267. world

  2268. but

  2269. we

  2270. have

  2271. nothing

  2272. to

  2273. fear

  2274. in

  2275. death

  2276. because

  2277. we

  2278. are

  2279. a

  2280. people

  2281. who

  2282. have

  2283. forsaken

  2284. this

  2285. life

  2286. because

  2287. we

  2288. are

  2289. a

  2290. people

  2291. who

  2292. have

  2293. forsaken

  2294. the

  2306. the

  2307. most

  2308. important

  2310. benefit

  2311. analysis

  2312. that

  2313. any

  2314. human

  2315. being

  2316. can

  2317. do

  2318. the

  2319. world

  2320. is

  2321. all

  2322. glitter

  2323. it's

  2324. shiny

  2325. but

  2326. worthless

  2327. Jesus

  2328. is

  2329. gold

  2330. gold

  2331. of

  2332. surpassing

  2333. worth

  2334. if

  2335. you

  2336. fear

  2337. death

  2338. a

  2339. helpful

  2340. question

  2341. to

  2342. ask

  2343. yourself

  2344. is

  2345. this

  2346. what

  2347. do

  2348. you

  2349. fear

  2350. to

  2351. lose

  2352. in

  2353. this

  2354. life

  2355. and

  2356. in

  2357. this

  2358. world

  2359. do

  2360. you

  2361. fear

  2362. losing

  2363. your

  2364. spouse

  2365. or

  2366. children

  2367. do

  2368. you

  2369. think

  2370. that

  2371. God

  2372. almighty

  2373. can't

  2374. take

  2375. care

  2376. of

  2377. them

  2378. without

  2379. your

  2384. losing

  2385. your

  2387. the

  2388. possibility

  2389. of

  2390. accomplishing

  2391. something

  2394. making

  2395. a

  2396. name

  2397. for

  2398. yourself

  2399. do

  2400. you

  2401. fear

  2402. missing

  2403. out

  2404. on

  2405. the

  2406. pleasures

  2407. that

  2408. this

  2409. world

  2410. has

  2411. to

  2412. offer

  2413. then

  2414. you

  2415. need

  2416. to

  2417. count

  2418. the

  2419. cost

  2420. and

  2421. remember

  2422. that

  2423. to

  2424. follow

  2425. Christ

  2426. is

  2427. to

  2428. suffer

  2429. the

  2430. loss

  2431. of

  2432. all

  2433. things

  2434. you

  2448. in

  2449. Christ

  2450. is

  2461. it

  2462. brothers

  2485. you

  2486. from

  2513. on

  2514. your

  2516. the

  2517. Lord

  2555. you

  2556. have

  2557. ever

  2558. needed

  2559. Jesus

  2560. is

  2561. waiting

  2562. for you

  2563. and

  2564. do you

  2565. regret

  2566. death

  2567. brothers

  2568. sisters

  2569. our

  2571. this

  2587. in the

  2588. Christian's

  2589. life

  2590. death

  2591. if

  2592. we

  2593. live

  2594. as

  2595. Paul

  2607. we

  2608. will

  2609. not

  2612. instead

  2613. we'll

  2614. see it

  2617. of our

  2618. lifelong

  2955. and his

  2956. wife

  2957. Mary

  2958. Patton

  2959. set

  2960. sail

  2961. for

  2962. new

  2963. Hebrides

  2964. as

  2965. missionaries

  2966. but

  2967. their

  2968. decision

  2969. understandably

  2970. was derided

  2971. by

  2972. many

  2973. as

  2974. foolish

  2975. on

  2976. one

  2977. occasion

  2978. a

  2979. respected

  2980. gentleman

  2981. and

  2982. older

  2983. gentleman

  2984. from

  2985. church

  2986. Mr.

  2987. Dixon

  2988. tried to

  2989. dissuade

  2990. them

  2991. he said

  2992. to them

  2993. the

  2994. cannibals

  2995. you will

  2996. be eaten

  2997. by

  2998. cannibals

  2999. but

  3000. to this

  3001. Patton

  3002. responded

  3003. Mr.

  3004. Dixon

  3005. it's

  3006. kind of

  3007. funny

  3008. but

  3009. I think

  3010. he probably

  3011. said it

  3012. in all

  3013. seriousness

  3014. I think

  3015. they used

  3016. to speak

  3017. like

  3018. this

  3019. Mr.

  3020. Dixon

  3021. you are

  3022. advanced

  3023. in years

  3024. now

  3025. and

  3026. your

  3027. own

  3028. prospect

  3029. is

  3030. soon

  3031. to

  3032. be

  3033. laid

  3034. in

  3035. the

  3036. grave

  3037. there

  3038. to

  3039. be

  3040. eaten

  3041. by

  3042. worms

  3043. I

  3044. confess

  3045. to

  3046. you

  3047. that

  3048. if

  3049. I

  3050. can

  3051. but

  3052. live

  3053. and

  3054. die

  3055. serving

  3056. and

  3057. honoring

  3058. the

  3059. Lord

  3060. Jesus

  3061. it

  3062. will

  3063. make

  3064. no

  3065. difference

  3066. to

  3067. me

  3068. whether

  3069. I

  3070. am

  3071. eaten

  3072. by

  3073. cannibals

  3074. or

  3075. by

  3076. worms

  3077. and

  3078. in

  3079. the

  3080. great

  3081. day

  3082. my

  3083. resurrection

  3084. body

  3085. will

  3086. rise

  3087. as

  3088. fair

  3089. as

  3090. yours

  3091. in

  3092. the

  3093. likeness

  3094. of

  3095. our

  3096. risen

  3097. redeemer

  3098. to

  3099. live

  3100. is

  3101. Christ

  3102. to

  3103. die

  3104. is

  3105. gain

  3106. although

  3107. Paul

  3108. considered

  3109. death to be the

  3110. far better

  3111. alternative

  3112. he didn't

  3113. ultimately

  3114. choose that

  3115. option

  3116. because

  3117. he believed

  3118. that it

  3119. was more

  3120. necessary

  3121. for him

  3122. to remain

  3123. alive

  3124. and continue

  3125. to minister

  3126. to God's

  3127. people

  3128. including

  3129. the

  3130. Philippian

  3131. church

  3132. he knew

  3133. that it

  3134. would

  3135. be selfish

  3136. of him

  3137. in light

  3138. of these

  3139. considerations

  3140. Paul says

  3141. in verses

  3142. 25 to

  3143. 26

  3144. convinced

  3145. of this

  3146. I know

  3147. that I

  3148. will remain

  3149. and continue

  3150. with you

  3151. all

  3152. for your

  3153. progress

  3154. and joy

  3155. in the

  3156. faith

  3157. so that

  3158. in me

  3159. you may

  3160. have

  3161. ample

  3162. cause

  3163. to

  3164. glory

  3165. in

  3166. Christ

  3167. Jesus

  3168. because

  3169. of my

  3170. coming

  3171. to you

  3172. again

  3173. are you

  3174. growing

  3175. as a

  3176. Christian

  3177. are you

  3178. more

  3179. joyful

  3180. now

  3181. than you

  3182. were

  3183. before

  3184. if you

  3185. are

  3186. walking

  3187. with the

  3188. Lord

  3189. Jesus

  3190. and

  3191. keeping

  3192. step

  3193. with

  3194. the

  3195. spirit

  3196. then

  3197. our

  3198. lives

  3199. should

  3200. be

  3201. marked

  3202. by

  3203. progress

  3204. and

  3205. joy

  3206. in

  3207. the

  3208. faith

  3209. and

  3210. Paul

  3211. lived

  3212. selflessly

  3213. to

  3214. produce

  3215. this

  3216. progress

  3217. and joy

  3218. in the

  3219. lives

  3220. of

  3221. fellow

  3222. believers

  3223. and that

  3224. brings us

  3225. once again

  3226. to the

  3227. main point

  3228. of this

  3229. passage

  3230. that we

  3231. should

  3232. live

  3233. with

  3234. single

  3235. minded

  3236. devotion

  3237. to the

  3238. advance

  3239. of the

  3240. gospel

  3241. in

  3242. and

  3243. through

  3244. us

  3245. in

  3246. verse

  3247. 12

  3248. he

  3249. spoke

  3250. about

  3251. his

  3252. all

  3253. consuming

  3254. zeal

  3255. for

  3256. the

  3257. advance

  3258. of

  3259. the

  3260. gospel

  3261. now

  3262. he

  3263. concludes

  3264. that

  3265. he

  3266. will

  3267. remain

  3268. and

  3269. continue

  3270. in

  3271. his

  3272. fruitful

  3273. labor

  3274. for

  3275. your

  3276. progress

  3277. and

  3278. joy

  3279. in

  3280. the

  3281. faith

  3282. the

  3283. word

  3284. progress

  3285. is

  3286. the

  3287. same

  3288. word

  3289. that

  3290. was

  3291. translated

  3292. early

  3293. in

  3294. verse

  3295. 12

  3296. as

  3297. advance

  3298. this

  3299. caps

  3300. it

  3301. opens

  3302. and

  3303. closes

  3304. this

  3305. entire

  3306. passage

  3307. the

  3308. idea

  3309. of

  3310. advance

  3311. in

  3312. the

  3313. gospel

  3314. advance

  3315. in

  3316. the

  3317. faith

  3318. that's

  3319. what

  3320. Paul

  3321. gave

  3322. his

  3323. life

  3324. to

  3325. he

  3326. didn't

  3327. have

  3328. a

  3329. death

  3330. wish

  3331. he

  3332. expected

  3333. to

  3334. and

  3335. planned

  3336. to be

  3337. released

  3338. from

  3339. prison

  3340. to

  3341. continue

  3342. in

  3343. his

  3344. ministry

  3345. and

  3346. he

  3347. was

  3348. right

  3349. in

  3350. his

  3351. anticipation

  3352. according

  3353. to

  3354. tradition

  3355. handed

  3356. down

  3357. to

  3358. us

  3359. through

  3360. church

  3361. history

  3362. third

  3363. century

  3364. church

  3365. history

  3366. in

  3367. Eusebius

  3368. writes

  3369. that

  3370. after

  3371. pleading

  3372. his

  3373. cause

  3374. Paul

  3375. is

  3376. said

  3377. to

  3378. have

  3379. been

  3380. sent

  3381. again

  3382. upon

  3383. the

  3384. ministry

  3385. of

  3386. preaching

  3387. fourth

  3388. century

  3389. pastor

  3390. Jerome

  3391. writes

  3392. this

  3393. as

  3394. well

  3395. Paul

  3396. was

  3397. dismissed

  3398. by

  3399. Nero

  3400. that

  3401. the

  3402. gospel

  3403. of

  3404. Christ

  3405. be

  3406. preached

  3407. also

  3408. in

  3409. the

  3410. west

  3411. so

  3412. then

  3413. Paul

  3414. was

  3415. released

  3416. after

  3417. spending

  3418. two

  3419. years

  3420. in

  3421. house

  3422. arrest

  3423. in

  3424. Rome

  3425. he

  3426. continued

  3427. to

  3428. preach

  3429. the

  3430. gospel

  3431. for

  3432. another

  3433. two

  3434. years

  3435. until

  3436. he

  3437. was

  3438. imprisoned

  3439. again

  3440. and

  3441. at

  3442. that

  3443. time

  3444. executed

  3445. by

  3446. Nero

  3447. in

  3448. 64

  3449. AD

  3450. Paul

  3451. was

  3452. a

  3453. man

  3454. of

  3455. singular

  3456. focus

  3457. when

  3458. the

  3459. light

  3460. of

  3461. the

  3462. sun

  3463. is

  3464. focused

  3465. by

  3466. a

  3467. magnifying

  3468. glass

  3469. it

  3470. can

  3471. concentrate

  3472. the

  3473. sun's

  3474. radiation

  3475. so

  3476. that

  3477. even

  3478. to

  3479. start

  3480. a

  3481. fire

  3482. likewise

  3483. God

  3484. can

  3485. use

  3486. men

  3487. and

  3488. women

  3489. of

  3490. singular

  3491. passion

  3492. for

  3493. the

  3494. advance

  3495. of

  3496. the

  3497. gospel

  3498. to

  3499. ignite

  3500. revival

  3501. in

  3502. our

  3503. time

  3504. and

  3505. only

  3506. men

  3507. and

  3508. women

  3509. who

  3510. cherish

  3511. Christ

  3512. as

  3513. their

  3514. singular

  3515. treasure

  3516. can

  3517. live

  3518. with

  3519. this

  3520. singular

  3521. passion

  3522. for

  3523. the

  3524. advance

  3525. of

  3526. the

  3527. gospel

  3528. so

  3529. then

  3530. in

  3531. order

  3532. to

  3533. pursue

  3534. the

  3535. advance

  3536. of

  3537. the

  3538. gospel

  3539. we

  3540. ourselves

  3541. need

  3542. to

  3543. advance

  3544. in

  3545. the

  3546. gospel

  3547. so

  3548. to

  3549. that

  3550. end

  3551. let's

  3552. make

  3553. this

  3554. prayer

  3555. a

  3556. prayer

  3557. that

  3558. Patrick

  3559. the

  3560. 5th

  3561. century

  3562. missionary

  3563. to

  3564. Ireland

  3568. Christ

  3569. with

  3571. Christ

  3572. before

  3595. when

  3596. I

  3599. and

  3600. Christ

  3601. when

  3602. I

  3603. sit

  3604. down

  3605. Christ

  3606. in

  3607. the

  3609. of

  3612. who

  3613. thinks

  3614. of

  3615. me

  3616. Christ

  3617. in

  3618. the

  3620. of

  3621. every

  3627. Christ

  3628. in

  3631. that

  3632. sees

  3633. me

  3634. Christ

  3635. in

  3639. hears

  3640. me

  3641. Amen

  3642. Oh

  3643. Lord

  3644. let

  3645. that

  3646. be

  3647. let

  3648. Christ

  3649. be

  3650. all

  3651. in

  3652. all

  3653. let

  3654. Christ

  3655. be

  3656. everything

  3657. let

  3658. our

  3666. ones

  3667. let

  3668. our

  3670. be

  3672. out

  3673. from

  3674. the

  3676. books

  3677. let

  3678. the

  3682. be

  3683. exalted

  3684. in

  3685. Jesus

  3686. name

  3687. we

  3688. pray

  3689. Amen

  3690. we
