  1. talk to mom that

  2. if it's okay to sing before I preach to

  3. lessen my nerves because my hand is

  4. really shaking right now and I'm really

  5. nervous. Please do pray for me and

  6. I just want to greet you all. Um h merry

  7. Christmas and a happy new year. Yeah, as

  8. some of people says it's better to be

  9. late than never. Yeah, so merry

  10. Christmas and happy new year. Anyway, um

  11. a lot of people this year set a new year

  12. resolution, right? Um some of them they

  13. want to be a good person. Some of them

  14. um they want to be healthier this year

  15. to save some money to be more hard

  16. worker. And but this evening,

  17. the Lord want us to teach how to live

  18. this year. He want us to teach how to

  19. live this year. And I believe some of us

  20. when we celebrate Christmas and New

  21. Year, they give a present to our

  22. nephews, niece, grandchildren,

  23. or children. And maybe some of us

  24. receive a present from them. And every

  25. time we receive that kind of presence

  26. and I believe we we try to cherish it,

  27. we try to keep it. We tried to um we

  28. tried to what it we tried to treasure

  29. it. But this morning or this evening I

  30. should say what makes this book

  31. such absolute a treasure to us? What

  32. makes this book such absolutely treasure

  33. to us? Maybe some somebody says, "Well,

  34. this Bible, this scripture

  35. is a book of salvation. This is a

  36. revelation of God. This is the book he

  37. reveals and deals other people." Maybe

  38. somebody says that this is this book is

  39. a handbook for living or for as a as a

  40. Bible scholar as a saved Christian as a

  41. person who accept the Lord Jesus Christ

  42. as his savior. Maybe this book is the

  43. way

  44. we live.

  45. Notice this church. If we follow the

  46. principles of these scriptures, if we

  47. follow this the principles and the

  48. guidance of this um scriptures, our life

  49. where experience to our life is a very

  50. best. But if we neglect this book, if we

  51. violate this scripture, we experience

  52. the very bitter harvest in our lives.

  53. That's why it's a very important the way

  54. we view this scripture, the way we

  55. understand this book with the way we

  56. practice the principles in this book.

  57. You know church,

  58. there's a lot of wonderful principles in

  59. these scriptures that's so practical for

  60. us every day. There's a lot of parables

  61. in this scripture that we encourage us

  62. this year. There's a lot of parables in

  63. these scriptures.

  64. It tells how to live in Christ, how to

  65. live in this world. And I believe

  66. there's a lot of events in these

  67. scriptures, especially the events of the

  68. life of Paul, especially in the life of

  69. the Lord Jesus Christ. how we make a

  70. miracle to the people and especially

  71. when saying in this world the saying of

  72. the Lord Jesus Christ and one of those

  73. events that God want us to teach this

  74. evening and the events that I want to

  75. preach this evening the title of my

  76. message is when the path seems too hard

  77. to walk. When the path seems too hard to

  78. walk or when the thing seems impossible,

  79. have you have faced a a moment when

  80. situation in front of us but completely

  81. impossible? Have you felt that

  82. circumstances? Because

  83. a lot of things, a lot of circumstances

  84. I face it especially when my grandmother

  85. diagnosed as a as a breast cancer has a

  86. breast cancer

  87. and the doctor said to him to her she

  88. will live for 7 months. That's back in

  89. 2005.

  90. But you know church my grandmother is

  91. still alive until now and that's a

  92. blessing. We faced the experience. We we

  93. felt like that moment it's really

  94. impossible to for her to live that long

  95. because the doctor said she will live

  96. for 7 years or for 7 months. But until

  97. now my grandparents still alive.

  98. You know church

  99. when

  100. when the needs when the needs is

  101. greater than our resources like when the

  102. storm was stronger than our strength or

  103. the question is behind our

  104. comprehension.

  105. Have you felt that? Have you felt that

  106. before? Have you experienced that

  107. before? when

  108. when we are we can do nothing but to

  109. think or or to to think about what we

  110. need to do.

  111. You know when we experience seasons when

  112. the path seems too hard to walk when we

  113. look what we have in our hands because

  114. if we have if if we look in our hands

  115. where are our lack resources but if you

  116. believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is

  117. the source and the beginning of all

  118. things

  119. you will never doubt on what he can do

  120. to our lives.

  121. And I know and I believe that all of us

  122. have felt completely stuck like our back

  123. were against the wall like we didn't

  124. know what to do where to go or or which

  125. direction to turn but I want you to

  126. believe today even the path seems

  127. impossible to walk but for with God

  128. nothing is impossible.

  129. If you have a Bible, can you please open

  130. with me in the book of John 6?

  131. John 6 chapter 1

  132. to 14.

  133. John chapter 6 1 verse to 14.

    John 6 chapter mention

  134. In verse one

  135. says there after these things Jesus went

  136. over the sea of Galilee which in the sea

  137. of the Tiberias and the great multitude

  138. followed him because they saw the

  139. miracle which he did on them that were

  140. deceased. And Jesus went up in the

  141. mountain and there he sat with his

  142. disciple. Maybe Jesus Christ here is to

  143. rest a little rest. And the Passover

  144. feast of the Jews was nigh. When Jesus

  145. then then lift up is up his eyes and saw

  146. a great company come unto him, he said

  147. unto Philillip, whence shall buy bread

  148. that this may eat. And this he said,

  149. prove him for he himself knew what he

  150. would do. actually this is a command and

  151. as a question in verse 7 Philip answered

  152. Philip answered him 200 penny worth of

  153. bread is not sufficient for them that

  154. very one of them make may take a little

  155. and verse 8 one of his disciple Andrew

  156. Simon Peter's brother said unto him

  157. there is a lad here which had which hath

  158. five loaves ley loaves and two small

  159. fish, but what are they among so many?

  160. And verse 10, and Jesus said, make

  161. the man sit down. Now there was a grass

  162. in place, so that man sat down in a

  163. number about 5,000.

  164. And Jesus took the loaves, and when he

  165. had given thanks, he distributed the

  166. disciples, and the disciples to them

  167. that were sat down, and likewise of the

  168. fishes as much as they would. And verse

  169. 12, when they were filled, he said unto

  170. his disciple disciples, gather up

  171. fragments that remained that nothing be

  172. lost. And verse 13, therefore they

  173. gathered them together and filled 12

  174. basket with the fragments and five bur

  175. loaves with the remained over over and

  176. above unto them that had eaten. Then

  177. those men which they had seen the

  178. miracle that Jesus did said, "This is of

  179. the truth. the prophet that should come

  180. into the world. Let's go to the Lord and

  181. pray.

  182. Dear God and heavenly father, we come

  183. humbly before your throne of grace with

  184. thanksgiving and humility. Oh God,

  185. Lord, this evening we ask for enough

  186. wisdom, knowledge, understanding as we

  187. study your word. Lord,

  188. if we have a a shortcoming, oh God,

  189. please cleanse our heart, breaks our

  190. heart and mind, oh God, and fill it with

  191. your Holy Spirit so we can easily

  192. understand your words. And Lord, please

  193. anoint my lips. Anoint me behind this

  194. pulpit, oh God. Hide me behind your

  195. cross and may your presence be noticed

  196. this evening. Lord, I am weak. I'm not

  197. strength. I'm not strong,

  198. Lord.

  199. I'm not smart but Lord I have you the

  200. source and the beginning of all thing in

  201. this world. Lord thank you so much once

  202. again for the time that you given to us

  203. to gather to your house and to

  204. study your words. Lord we love you and

  205. we praise you in Jesus name we pray.

  206. Amen and amen.

  207. If we have um if we can see in this

  208. chapter the situation looks impossible

  209. to feed those 5,000 men

  210. not including the women and the children

  211. just the 5,000 men. You know in our

  212. lives if we hit this kind of situation

  213. we didn't know what to do as well. You

  214. know church it looks like impossible for

  215. us to get through in this situation

  216. without any some financial problem

  217. developing but here's the thing I won't

  218. I won't take you long because some

  219. pastor said bless the man who preached

  220. so the pastor

  221. invited me again so I won't take you

  222. long number one when part seems too hard

  223. to walk or when things seems impossible

  224. All

  225. number one, Jesus is aware of our

  226. seemingly impossible situation we face

  227. in life. Jesus is aware of our seemingly

  228. impossible situation.

  229. I didn't say impossible situation but

  230. seemingly situation. Even though it

  231. looks like impossible, it looks like uh

  232. it feels like impossible. It feels like

  233. no hope. It feels like we are all

  234. checkmate in that situation. But I want

  235. to tell you this morning or this evening

  236. where with God nothing is impossible.

  237. You know church, do you know Hana?

  238. Hana the mother of Samuel. You know Hana

  239. she is infertile.

  240. It's impossible for her to conceive a

  241. baby. But you know church when Hana

  242. when Hana never stopped pleasing the

  243. Lord. He never stopped praying to the

  244. Lord. Never stop crying to the Lord. The

  245. Lord heard her prayer. The Lord heard

  246. seized his heart with the full of faith.

  247. When God heard that prayer of Hana, when

  248. he saw the vow of Hana, God answered

  249. Hana's prayer. He gives Samuel

  250. to Hannah. When God heard her cries and

  251. saw her faith, the Lord answered her

  252. prayer and gave Samuel to her. You know

  253. church, like what I've told you, for

  254. with God nothing shall be impossible.

  255. Sometimes we need to give God a right

  256. reason to answer our prayer. Just like

  257. Hana when he prayed for Samuel, he make

  258. a vow to the Lord. He said, "If you gave

  259. me a son, I will give him to you for all

  260. this life." You know, church,

  261. we need to give a reason, a right reason

  262. if we want God to answer our prayer. And

  263. notice this, the disciple asked a wrong

  264. question. to Jesus. In verse 9,

  265. we can see here

  266. the disciples said uh said to Jesus,

  267. "But what are they among so many?"

  268. That's a wrong question. The right

  269. question is now Lord Jesus,

  270. what are you going to do with that? What

  271. are you going to do with that?

  272. How many of us are guilty to ask the

  273. same question to God every time we

  274. experience the seemingly impossible

  275. situation in our lives when we're look

  276. like a checkmate?

  277. To be honest, church, if I am the one

  278. who handle the circumstances,

  279. I am sure I'm going to be a big trouble.

  280. Maybe I will tell to Jesus.

  281. Can we send him back to their home? Can

  282. we send him back away? Because we have

  283. and we have enough food to feed them.

  284. But you know, church, the blessing is

  285. Jesus said, "No, we will feed them." And

  286. that's the blessing of God.

  287. You know church, when we allow when we

  288. allow Jesus Christ, when we allow God to

  289. take over the our seeming impossible

  290. situation in our lives, when we call

  291. him, when we come when when we call him,

  292. when we when we allow him to man over to

  293. our lives, he will come. He will come.

  294. You know, church,

  295. I believe Jesus Christ, he were there to

  296. the disciples. He were there to the

  297. prophets. He were there to Moses, to

  298. David, to Joseph. And I believe when we

  299. call to his name, he will there for us.

  300. Church,

  301. when we call to the name of the Lord, he

  302. will come to deal with it. No matter

  303. what

  304. in a no matter what the situation,

  305. because he heard us. We have a living

  306. God. When we pray, when we pray, he

  307. always listen to us. When we cry, he saw

  308. our tear

  309. because we have a good God looking at

  310. us, guiding guiding us because we have a

  311. omniresence God.

  312. God want us to rely on him to trust him

  313. to call him. In Matthew 7:7, ask it

    Matthew 7:7

  314. shall be given. Seek and ye shall find.

  315. Knock and it shall be open unto you. You

  316. know church, this new year.

  317. This new year, God want us to rely on

  318. him. He want us to put our trust and

  319. faith upon him. Not only Jesus is aware

  320. of our seemingly impossible situation we

  321. face in our lives,

  322. but secondly,

  323. Jesus always has a perfect plan

  324. for our seemingly impossible

  325. circumstances

  326. in life.

  327. You know, church, because he knows

  328. exactly what to do. Jesus know exactly

  329. what to do. He knows how he's going to

  330. do with it. And he knows exactly the

  331. resources of that necessary seemingly

  332. impossible circumstances

  333. what we face what you faced in life. You

  334. know church sometimes Christian nowadays

  335. act like an unbeliever. You know church

  336. especially when when the Christian

  337. experience the midst of problem to their

  338. to their lives they always complain like

  339. oh Lord what should I do I have a

  340. problem I have this I have that

  341. what should I do but I want to tell you

  342. this sometimes the Lord allow those

  343. problem in our lives because he want you

  344. to go back to him he want you to talk to

  345. him he want you to kneel to him to cry

  346. to him for help. He want you to ask for

  347. help. He don't want you to face the

  348. circumstances in your life. He don't

  349. want you to face the problem by your

  350. own. He want you to ask him for help.

  351. You know church,

  352. God want you to put your trust and faith

  353. in him.

  354. I want to ask you this. When was the

  355. last time you bowed you bowed down your

  356. knees to him? When was the last time you

  357. cried

  358. while talking while crying to him? When

  359. was the last time?

  360. When was the last time you said to him

  361. Lord I will going to stop my old

  362. calculation

  363. and I am going out all my trust and

  364. faith and see what you can do in our in

  365. my

  366. you know church when when you learn

  367. again to bow down your knees when you

  368. learn again to cry with conviction and

  369. put your faith and trust to him. You

  370. will amaze how God can turn around your

  371. life. You will experience the great and

  372. mighty things that God can do to your

  373. life if you allow him to maneuver you in

  374. the battle or in your problem.

  375. You will see the perfect plan of God to

  376. our seeming impossible circumstances

  377. in our life.

  378. You know church, David

  379. won to Golth not because of his courage.

  380. Moses won to over Amalecch not because

  381. of his sword skill.

  382. Joshua defeated 31 kings not because of

  383. his strength but because God intervened

  384. and promised him. You know church,

  385. the Lord said to them, "Fear not. Stand

  386. still. The Lord shall fight for you."

  387. though. So church members, brethren,

  388. brother in Christ,

  389. God want us,

  390. God want us to talk to him. Ask for

  391. help. Knock

  392. because he will help you. Let the Lord

  393. God intervene to our lives. Let him manu

  394. over the problem that we can't win.

  395. Because if we look to our hands, the

  396. resources in our hands,

  397. we will might have we will might

  398. discourage because we are lack

  399. resources. But what I've told you, we

  400. have a God, the source and the beginning

  401. of all things, absolut attribute

  402. existing and trinity. He is omniresence,

  403. omnence.

  404. We have a good God. We have a loving

  405. God.

  406. He don't want us to take that problem by

  407. our own. Talk to him.

  408. Brethren, I don't know what you are

  409. facing right now, what you have been

  410. through this past few years, the past

  411. year, but I encourage you to trust him,

  412. to believe on him, and he will give you

  413. step by step because he has a perfect

  414. plan for each and everyone. He has a

  415. perfect plan for me. That's why I am

  416. here standing before you.

  417. I know he has a plan.

  418. He knew exactly he was going to do in

  419. our situation. Like Jesus said, "Make

  420. them men sit down. We will feed them

  421. all."

  422. Jesus know that he can feed them all.

  423. He knows that. He already knew that.

  424. Jesus demonstrate his power which part

  425. of his ultimate goal to clear that I am

  426. God. I am the Messiah. Brethren,

  427. if you have a big problem, listen to

  428. this. If you have a big problem,

  429. remember you have a greater God. You

  430. have a greater God. When the challenge

  431. seems overwhelming, remember you serve a

  432. mighty God.

  433. You serve a living God.

  434. You serve a merciful God, a good God, a

  435. loving God.

  436. And not only that,

  437. thirdly, Jesus will often surprise us by

  438. the way he turn our impossible situation

  439. into things that are possible.

  440. Number three, Jesus will often surprise

  441. us by the way he turn our impossible

  442. situation into things that are

  443. impossible.

  444. He surprised us in a lot of ways.

  445. When Andrew

  446. the chapter in the chapter we were read

  447. when Andrew looking for a food to the

  448. multitude he saw excuse me

  449. he saw a young boy who has a five loaves

  450. and two fishes. Here's the thing and I

  451. believe Andrew bring that boy to Jesus

  452. and asked that boy. And Jesus said to

  453. that boy, "Can I have your lunch?

  454. Can I have your food?

  455. And the young boy said, "Yes, sir.

  456. Yes, Lord."

  457. And it turns his bread and he turned his

  458. bread and fish to Jesus.

  459. And I want you remember this. Don't ever

  460. estimate what God can do to your life

  461. when you are fully surrendered to him.

  462. when you surrender all you have all you

  463. are to him you know church I believe one

  464. of the reason why people discourage

  465. within their lives

  466. in their lives because they're always

  467. asking am I important

  468. am I good enough

  469. why I never accomplish this accomplish

  470. that maybe because you haven't turned

  471. your life yet to Jesus maybe you never

  472. turned um it over to the one who created

  473. you to the one who give it to you the

  474. lives what you have you know church when

  475. God created you surrender it to him to

  476. the one who owned you give it to give it

  477. to the one who want to work with you and

  478. let him reveal to you what he can do and

  479. what he can and he what he will do to

  480. your life you know church but The sad

  481. things many people, many Christians

  482. nowadays

  483. is really selfish.

  484. They used to hold their own grip. They

  485. use um this is because this is they want

  486. this is I want to leave. This is what I

  487. want what I want to leave. This is what

  488. I am going. And their life is their

  489. choice. Their life is their own plan.

  490. But while I'm studying this

  491. um passage, I realize this that God has

  492. the best plan for our lives.

  493. God has a best plan to your life. But

  494. the only way that plans work is for you

  495. to open your hand and give yourself

  496. to the one who owns you. And that's the

  497. Lord Jesus Christ.

  498. surrender your life to him absolutely

  499. and totally and that's the matter

  500. of pure trust and faith to the Lord.

  501. Do you know?

  502. Do you believe that God has a perfect

  503. plan for you? Do we believe that God has

  504. a perfect plan for us? Because I believe

  505. absolutely

  506. he has a perfect plan for me. He has a

  507. perfect plan for all of us. Do you allow

  508. him to man over you to the best plan?

  509. Some people maybe they don't want

  510. because they are talented, they are

  511. gifted, skilled and it's hard for them

  512. to give their lives to the one who

  513. created them. But I tell you this, you

  514. must open yourself for God's plan to see

  515. what God could do to you. And

  516. I just read actually um

  517. I just read uh

  518. the companion of DL Moody. Do you know

  519. DL Moody? He is uh one of the great

  520. evangelists

  521. uh last year and you know there are

  522. three pastor ask him what is the secret

  523. to be to being effective preacher? What

  524. is your secret to be a a better preacher

  525. to be a greater preacher? And Dale Moody

  526. took those three pastors to his hotel

  527. and

  528. um

  529. took them to the window of the hotel and

  530. asked them

  531. on what they saw in that window. One of

  532. the pastor said

  533. he saw a tree and the other one he saw

  534. the children playing in the park. And

  535. one of the pastor, the last pastor, he

  536. saw the man rushing go to their work.

  537. And

  538. this parable interpreted

  539. like a parable about everyone's

  540. has own perspective in life. You know

  541. Delm Moody's perspective. Have you seen

  542. those people playing the park? Have you

  543. seen those people driving a car? If they

  544. don't have

  545. right relationship with God and uh and

  546. when we die without heart relationship

  547. with God they will suffer to hell and

  548. that's the perspective of DL movie and

  549. just like him that's why I am here

  550. standing before you to practice what I

  551. preach to be more effective to share the

  552. gospel

  553. because I want to reach out those lost

  554. souls those that might suffer in hell if

  555. they don't have right relationship with

  556. God. They if they don't accept the Lord

  557. Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

  558. I also have unsaved loved ones, unsafe

  559. friends and I don't want to see them

  560. suffer in hell.

  561. That's why I don't want to save seated

  562. and satisfied while my fellow countrymen

  563. unsaved loved ones dying in bound.

  564. I don't want to see them.

  565. That's why when I go back to the

  566. Philippines,

  567. I proclaim the gospel. I will preach the

  568. gospel because that what God called me

  569. and that what that's what he planned to

  570. my life to proclaim the gospel.

  571. I believe this young boy who turned the

  572. food and the fish the food to Jesus

  573. Christ. I believe that

  574. it's a sign of surrendering to God.

  575. Imagine there's a 5,000 men's not

  576. including the women and the children.

  577. But this kid, he is willing to surrender

  578. the food that he has

  579. to the Lord Jesus Christ because he's

  580. trusting.

  581. Believe in you.

  582. Surrender your life to the one.

  583. Surrender your life to God and you will

  584. see what God can do to you. surrender to

  585. the one who owned you. And lastly,

  586. Jesus will use the circumstances to

  587. teach us, train us, and grow us up in

  588. this life.

  589. What do you think or thinking about what

  590. the disciples saw the miracles of the

  591. Lord Jesus Christ? What do you think

  592. when the people saw the miracles of the

  593. disciples and the Lord Jesus Christ on

  594. the on that day?

  595. I believe it is strengthened their

  596. faith. They saw the power of God. God

  597. demonstrate his power. God demonstrate

  598. his love to his people to feed them all.

  599. God reveals our weakness. But God allow

  600. us to experience those things to teach

  601. us to depend on him

  602. because he is the source and the

  603. beginning of it.

  604. This year

  605. God want us to teach us to rely on him.

  606. This year God want us to be more

  607. dependent on him to our problem. Don't

  608. look on our hands because it causes

  609. discouragement.

  610. But when we look to the God who created

  611. of everything,

  612. everything what we have, everything what

  613. we saw

  614. and believe in him and put your faith in

  615. him.

  616. I believe God will help you to your

  617. seemingly impossible situation. Pastor,

  618. thank you so much once again

  619. to

  620. be a blessing this evening. I hope this

  621. simple message would be encouraged to

  622. each and everyone and I hope and I pray

  623. that

  624. may our this year be more truthful and

  625. be more dependent on God because he is

  626. the source and the beginning of all

  627. things. He's a loving God and merciful

  628. God.

  629. Amen. And amenord

  630. [singing]

  631. as we go [music] from this place

  632. loving [singing] you more, trusting you

  633. more.

  634. [music]

  635. May the power of your [singing] love and

  636. the light of your word shine

  637. to a sin darkened world as we go from

  638. [singing] this

  639. >> [music]

  640. >> Trusting [singing] Jesus that is all.

  641. Trusting [singing] as a moment.

  642. Trusting as the days go by. [singing]

  643. Trusting [music]

  644. him whatever before. Trust in [singing]

  645. Jesus. That is all.
