  1. Welcome to the Illuminate Church podcast.

  2. We hope today's message is encouraging to you.

  3. Wow, I, I am just blessed and honored to be a part of this

  4. church. And like they said, nothing's

  5. changing there. We love this church family and I

  6. just want to personally say thank you, Pastor Tim, Pastor

  7. Christine, Pastor Kim, our elders, our staff, and to all of

  8. you, I am so blessed to be a part of this family.

  9. We're, we're staying here. We're just getting to do some

  10. different ministry, but we'll, we'll be here every Sunday.

  11. So we, we love illuminate churches.

  12. Our family, you guys are our family.

  13. We're blessed to be a part of this.

  14. And yeah, I, I, I'm proud and will always just proudly say I'm

  15. a son of this house. What the Lord has done in, in my

  16. life, in my wife's life, these last 10 years is they're,

  17. they're the greatest years of my life.

  18. And I've grown more in Jesus than I ever did before.

  19. And I'm just so thankful that I get to be a part of Illuminate

  20. Church. So, so thank you all.

  21. Thank you for what you've meant to me and what the Lord has done

  22. through you in my life. What a blessing.

  23. What a blessing. OK, I could blubber all day

  24. about that. I, I, oh man, I love you all.

  25. But yeah, we're going to dive into the word today.

  26. We didn't plan it this way. We had pre planned that that I

  27. would just get to bring the word today.

  28. But just so happened it aligned with the the sending.

  29. So glory to God. Very excited about what he's

  30. doing, but also sad. I'm not going to see these guys

  31. every day in the office, but yeah, so we're going to we're

  32. going to pray and we'll get going.

  33. Would you mind praying with me? Holy God, you are here.

  34. You are moving. Lord, I pray your presence would

  35. set on this place because it's true, you're here.

  36. But Lord, that we would, you would help us to be aware of

  37. what you're doing in each moment, the power of God resting

  38. upon this house, upon this people.

  39. Lord, it's not by our power of might, but it's by the Spirit of

  40. the living God. And I ask that you would speak

  41. today, the hearts, I ask that he would do what no person can do

  42. but the Holy Spirit. But but those who who are able

  43. just to step in just to receive what you would do in their lives

  44. today, God, I pray you would, you would bless every heart with

  45. you. I pray you would help us to see

  46. that you are a supernatural God. You've given us a supernatural

  47. calling. And we need your water.

  48. We need to be filled with your water.

  49. So we're overflowing with it in order to live it out.

  50. God, I pray this blessing over our hearts in Jesus name.

  51. Now if you would right where you're at, if you would ask

  52. Jesus, Jesus, if he would speak to you today, just you and him,

  53. just take a moment. And then if you would pray for

  54. me, that God would give me words that would help you.

  55. God, we love you, we trust you, we step in believing in what you

  56. can do today. Thank you.

  57. God, pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

  58. Amen. So do you know what this is

  59. People in the back are like, I don't know, it doesn't look like

  60. much. I can hardly see that.

  61. But other people in the front are like, Yep, you're going to

  62. mansplain a candle to us faster, Drew, And yes, I am.

  63. I am going to try this is like a pinkish purple candle.

  64. I can't really tell if it's pink or purple.

  65. All y'all are like, he's colorblind.

  66. What's happening? But by itself, we look at a

  67. candle and and it's not all that extraordinary, right?

  68. It's just like this stick of wax, but when you put a flame on

  69. it, it becomes extraordinary. It lights up a room.

  70. It's what it was created to do, right?

  71. And every person, we were created to host the flame of the

  72. living God without Him. Honestly, you are extraordinary

  73. already because you were made in His image.

  74. But when the Spirit of the living God is put on our lives,

  75. we become supernatural in what He does through our lives and

  76. what He fills us to do. And that's what we want to talk

  77. about today. You and I are the light of the

  78. world, a city on a hill, salt of the earth.

  79. And God is calling us up today. He's saying rise up, rise up.

  80. I've given you a supernatural calling for I'm a supernatural

  81. God. And we're going to talk about

  82. how we step in to that today. So we're going to start in

  83. Matthew 10, verses 7:00 and 8:00, and we see Jesus, this

  84. master disciple, Maker, He's helping his disciples learn how

  85. to do ministry. Now, up until this point, He's

  86. been preaching the gospel with power, right?

  87. He's been healing the sick, cleansing the leper, raising the

  88. dead, casting out demons, and He's freely giving the Kingdom

  89. away. He's doing this powerful

  90. ministry. He is the Messiah, the Son of

  91. God. And then we come to this passage

  92. and he tells his disciples what they're called to do.

  93. And let's read what he tells his disciples to do.

  94. He tells his disciples as you go proclaim this message, the

  95. Kingdom of heaven has come near. He's like, it's not out there.

  96. It's not some idea that oh, I hope God moves because he's kind

  97. of in heaven, but I don't know where he is.

  98. No, he says the presence of God, the Kingdom of God, his power is

  99. here. It's right here is what he's

  100. saying. And then he says in verse 8, he

  101. says, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have

  102. leprosy, drive out demons freely received freely gift.

  103. So I don't know if it's as startling to you, but when I

  104. first saw that this what this was actually saying, I was like,

  105. wait a minute, Jesus is saying that the same ministry he did is

  106. the ministry is calling his disciples to do like that just

  107. blew my mind. I was like, wait, it's not a

  108. lesser ministry. It's it's not, it's not like

  109. Jesus did this and he's calling his disciples to do this because

  110. they're not him. He's like, no, it's the same

  111. power, it's the same spirit. It's the same Lord that is in US

  112. working in and through. And so as disciples, when you

  113. see what they did, you can look in Luke 10 and see how they went

  114. out and, and they did what Jesus is saying.

  115. They went out and they ministered just like Jesus and

  116. they came back and they were astonished.

  117. They're like, Oh my goodness, we did it and and we're doing all

  118. the things that you were doing and even the demons were

  119. listening to us and we commanded them in Jesus name.

  120. They did what we told them to do and Jesus being the master,

  121. disciple, maker and encourage her that he is, he's like, gosh,

  122. he's like when you were ministering, he's like, I saw

  123. Satan fall like lightning because my Kingdom has come.

  124. We're doing this and like he's pumping him up.

  125. He's helping him see what he's empowered to do, what he's

  126. empowered him to do. So they were able to live the

  127. same ministry Jesus lived. And then we come to Matthew 2819

  128. through 20, which is what we know is the Great Commission,

  129. right? This is Our Calling.

  130. This is Jesus calling all disciples after his disciples

  131. and what he's calling them to do.

  132. And it says this, It says, go and make disciples of all

  133. nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son

  134. and the Holy Spirit. So he says, go, make disciples,

  135. baptize them. And then he says this, teaching

  136. them to obey everything I've commanded you, for I'm with you

  137. always to the end. Now what did he tell his

  138. disciples to do? He told his disciples to preach

  139. the gospel. He told him to say that God is

  140. coming close through Jesus, through what he did on the

  141. cross, through his resurrection. The veil was torn and all

  142. separation from God was removed and God came in close once

  143. again. And now we have access is what

  144. he's saying. He said go preach the gospel.

  145. And he said heal the sick, cleanse the leper, cast out

  146. demons, raise the dead freely, give the Kingdom away just like

  147. me. And he's telling us, he's

  148. saying, all right, disciples, now when you go make disciples,

  149. I want you to teach them to do the same thing, not a lesser

  150. thing, not a lesser calling. It's the same Spirit.

  151. It's the same Lord. It's the same one who empowers

  152. us to do the ministry of the gospel that empowered Jesus.

  153. This is the Holy Spirit in our lives and for all who have

  154. trusted in Jesus. This is Our Calling.

  155. Now for some of us, we may be like, what in the world?

  156. How, how are we supposed to do that?

  157. Like you're asking us to do something impossible with.

  158. Let me just encourage you with this.

  159. There is a reason that your calling is bigger than your

  160. capacity. You, you remain that way on

  161. purpose because we need Him. We need Him in order to live out

  162. what He's called us to live. Look, I really don't care about

  163. the supernatural unless Jesus cares about it.

  164. But because it's a part of the calling He's given us, I care

  165. about Him. I want what is in Him and what

  166. He's called us to, to fill me and to fill you so that we can

  167. go out for His glory, so we can do what he's called us to do, to

  168. be a light into the world. Now you may say, yeah, but Drew,

  169. why don't we see this happening as much?

  170. And I'm, I'm going to testify something to you.

  171. I don't say this out of anything, but just what Jesus

  172. can do. I see this all the time and so

  173. the question is, who are we hanging out?

  174. We may think we don't see as much supernatural, but it's

  175. happening. The Kingdom is still moving.

  176. He's the same God yesterday, today and forever.

  177. And I see people get healed and I see people get prophesied over

  178. and I see demons get cast out a lot.

  179. Again, this has nothing to do with me, has everything to do

  180. with what Jesus has called his people to do.

  181. And when we receive this gospel, receive what he wants to do, the

  182. fullness of Christ in me. This is Galatians 220.

  183. When we receive not, it's not I who live, but Christ who lives

  184. in me, what God will do through our lives.

  185. It's wonderful, but there's a reason why Our Calling is bigger

  186. than our capacity. It's because we need the Lord.

  187. One more thing and then I'm going to talk about how we get

  188. filled up with the Lord. That's how we live the

  189. supernatural life. John 1412, some of y'all might

  190. be here today saying, OK, I don't know about this.

  191. That's crazy. We're called to do the same

  192. things Jesus did. John 1412 says Whoever believes

  193. in me will do the works that I do in greater.

  194. Now, what's awesome about this is he doesn't say the 12 are

  195. going to do the works that I do in greater.

  196. And he doesn't say the religious elite will do the works that I

  197. do. And even greater, he doesn't say

  198. the pastors and the elders are going to do the works that I do.

  199. And even greater, he says all who believe, whoever believes in

  200. me, that's, that's all of us. Whoever believes in Jesus will

  201. do the same works. And even greater, I, I want to

  202. hopefully burst some bubbles in here this morning that the

  203. hierarchy of the Kingdom is 2 levels.

  204. There's Jesus and then there's everybody else there.

  205. There is no religious elite. There is no, oh, that person can

  206. do it because they're, I don't know, pastor, priest, whatever.

  207. I don't know what we think, but I'm no different than you.

  208. I have no more access than to Jesus than you.

  209. We have all been given full access to the living God and he

  210. comes upon us and he wants to move through it.

  211. Praise God. And I joyfully say this because

  212. this is the good news. Jesus is accessible, just as

  213. accessible to you as he is to anyone.

  214. I want to demolish some things this morning, some some lies

  215. that the enemy has told us. And I feel like the enemy is

  216. trying to whisper it even now. But yeah, I feel like the enemy

  217. is trying to say, yeah, but you're unworthy.

  218. And this is the lie that I believe for years that I was too

  219. unworthy to embrace the Lord in this way, that I was too

  220. unworthy to let God move in my life in this way.

  221. And and the Lord, he kept convincing me of how close he

  222. is. And he, and he told me, he said,

  223. he says, Son has nothing to do with how unworthy you are.

  224. He said, yes, you have sinned, but my I have paid the price for

  225. your sin upon the cross. And I just want to speak this

  226. over hearts this morning that it's not about how deep of sin

  227. that we are in. It's about how great of a savior

  228. he is that his blood can wash us clean.

  229. And for all who trust in Jesus, it's not about whether I can be

  230. enough. It's the fact that he is enough

  231. for me. Now, on the flip side of that,

  232. we think, yeah, but he's holy. And I'm, I'm, I'm imperfect.

  233. Now, maybe this is just me that has felt this in the past, but

  234. maybe some of you can identify with this, but you feel

  235. imperfect coming before a holy God and wanting to embrace

  236. whatever he wants to do, wanting to embrace his presence in your

  237. life. And what the Lord taught me was

  238. that he created Adam and Eve in the garden.

  239. He created them so he could have companions.

  240. He doesn't need them. He doesn't need us.

  241. But he loves Adam and Eve and he loves us and he wants to be with

  242. us. So the point of whether I am

  243. worthy to be with him is less important than he wants to be

  244. with me and he wants to be with you.

  245. And I kept doing this to God. I'm not.

  246. I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy God.

  247. And he kept saying what about me?

  248. He's like what, what what about what I want?

  249. I want you. I want to be with you.

  250. And I would encourage every heart this morning that feels

  251. like I don't know how to get past this wall of unworthiness,

  252. this wall of feeling like I can't because he's too great

  253. when he is coming to you and he's saying I love you and he's

  254. like this, just step in. I've loved you all your life

  255. than before and I just want you to step in.

  256. So we have a supernatural God. He's given us a supernatural

  257. calling and I'm trying to just whet our appetite to see, for us

  258. to see what it takes to live out that supernatural calling.

  259. And it's, it's as simple as this, to drink the living water

  260. that Jesus would give you to get filled up to overflowing with

  261. Jesus. And This is why I'm trying to

  262. remove these walls, remove hindrances that would keep us

  263. from coming in close to Jesus because he wants to be with you

  264. and he's so close. But let's look at John four.

  265. I want to talk about the woman at the well and Jesus's

  266. experience with her. Now, I don't know if any of you

  267. can identify with this, but this woman, she comes to this well

  268. and she is pretty cynical. And we know from the story,

  269. she's been married at least four times.

  270. The guy she's with right now, she's not even married to Jesus

  271. knows this prophetically and speaks it to her.

  272. But from this, we know women, they can't even they weren't

  273. lawfully allowed to divorce their husbands back in that day.

  274. So she was rejected 4 times. So she feels this relational

  275. trauma in her heart and she steps into this conversation.

  276. She's coming to the well at a time in the day when no one else

  277. is there and that reveals that she didn't want to be around

  278. anyone else. She wanted to be alone.

  279. She wanted to get her water and and go about her business and be

  280. at home. She didn't want all the

  281. judgmental looks. She didn't want the to feel

  282. misunderstood as she continually felt misunderstood.

  283. Maybe we have some people that I felt misunderstood in life today

  284. here in. Jesus is waiting, just as he did

  285. for the woman at the well, and he wants to give you living

  286. water. But the woman, she, she walks up

  287. and Jesus is there now. Now, I don't know if you've ever

  288. been around someone that's filled with life and filled with

  289. joy and, and every time they see you, they're excited to be

  290. around you and they love you. And, and I, if you want, if you

  291. want some more of this, then one of the most wonderful examples

  292. of this that I know of is Pastor Valdemir right here.

  293. If you would hold your hand up, Pastor Valdemir, this man is

  294. filled with the joy and the love of God and when you get around

  295. him, he, he genuinely wants to be around you.

  296. He's like Jesus and like she gives you a hug, you know, it

  297. makes you feel special. He's like, I love you.

  298. I'm like, I love you, you know, like thank you, you know, but

  299. this is what I believe Jesus being there at the well was like

  300. that day. He's filled with life, he's

  301. filled with joy. He knows God the Father's about

  302. to change this woman's life and he's pumped, he's filled, you

  303. know, the overflowing. And he just got that

  304. anticipation. You know, he's like, it's like,

  305. have you ever seen the people on planes?

  306. You get on a plane and, and if you ever sit next to someone

  307. like this, they're so happy. They're excited.

  308. They just want to talk to you. And maybe you just want to mind

  309. your own business, you know, and, and, and they're like,

  310. they're like, hey, you know, how you doing?

  311. You know, and you're like, Oh my goodness, you know, I got one of

  312. these today. Yeah, it's good to see, you

  313. know, and they're and they're like, they're like, where are

  314. you going? You know, you're like, I'm the

  315. same as you, you know, I'm going to the same place.

  316. But it's good to see you, you know?

  317. But anyway, the point is we know these people when we're not

  318. feeling like talking, it can kind of rub us the wrong way.

  319. And you see this happening in the conversation with Jesus and

  320. the woman at the well, she starts talking to him and

  321. everything he says, she kind of combatively comes back against

  322. it right now. If you haven't read this story,

  323. I just don't have time to go through the whole story today.

  324. But she's coming with a cynical view.

  325. Jesus is coming with his living water.

  326. He wants to give her living water and he knows it's

  327. happening and it's coming and he's talking to her.

  328. He begins by saying, will you give me a drink?

  329. And finally they go through the conversation.

  330. Verse 10. Jesus answered one of her

  331. questions and said, if you knew the gift of God, who it is that

  332. is saying to you, give me a drink, you would have asked him

  333. and he would give you living water.

  334. Verse 13 Whoever drinks of the water that I give him will never

  335. be thirsty again. The water that I give him will

  336. becoming him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

  337. Fast forward in the conversation.

  338. This woman came in wounded, feeling hopeless, wanting to be

  339. alone. Jesus speaks words of life,

  340. words of identity, words of love.

  341. He speaks of of the one that she had always hoped would be the

  342. Lord that she worshipped. He speaks of how she would

  343. worship Him in spirit and truth, that it wasn't about being of

  344. this people or this race, but but the the way she comes to God

  345. is freely and fully and that he has invites her into this.

  346. And something happens in that conversation as she's in the

  347. presence of the living God, as he's so close and he's speaking

  348. these words of life, she gets transformed, so much so that

  349. when the conversation ends, she doesn't even care what she came

  350. there for, which was jugs of water.

  351. It says. She leaves them there and she

  352. runs into the village filled with new life.

  353. And she starts saying, hey, come and see the person who told me

  354. everything about I never did in life and and he is the Messiah.

  355. He's got to be the Messiah. And she's filled with something

  356. new. This is what it's like to be

  357. filled with the living water. Now, I believe in the American

  358. church, the majority of the American church anyway.

  359. We get Jesus in our hearts, in our lives and, and, and in the

  360. very beginning, we get saved and, and we, we get a drink,

  361. right? That's good living water, right.

  362. Thank you, Jesus. Oh my goodness, I've never

  363. experienced this, this hydration that is good for my spirit, that

  364. that brings life into me. And that's why when people get

  365. saved and Jesus put their trust in Jesus, they, they're, they're

  366. ignited. There's something that comes

  367. alive in them, right? We've seen it again and again,

  368. but we've also seen again and again people after they get

  369. saved, they kind of just start going.

  370. They're like, was that as good as it gets?

  371. But the reality is people, I believe people stop drinking the

  372. water. They stop drinking.

  373. And most people, they believe there's this high when you get

  374. saved, but but there's nothing else after.

  375. But it's only that we're not drinking the water.

  376. We walk around, we're like, I got Jesus, you know, we think

  377. we, we got him and we do. He's right here.

  378. But proximity doesn't get the water in me.

  379. I've got to get the water in me. And God was telling me again and

  380. again, Come on. God was telling me again and

  381. again when I prep for this message, drink the water.

  382. Tell him to drink the water. Drink the water.

  383. God is a supernatural guy. He's given us a supernatural

  384. calling. Now the only reason I tell you

  385. about the calling today is I want you to feel motivated to

  386. step in to drink the water because here's what's happened

  387. in my life. The closer I get to God, the

  388. more I come into contact and receive that He doesn't just

  389. want to be with me, but He's closer than the air I breathe.

  390. And I come in and I commune with Him, and I get to know him.

  391. The more I do this, the more the reality and my heart and my mind

  392. begins to expand. And what I thought love was

  393. before expands. And the lid I had on my life

  394. that was limited me just gets tore off and the walls fall down

  395. and I find myself in wide open spaces.

  396. For this is God that rules my life.

  397. And when He rules my life, it's no longer I who lives and all

  398. that I thought I was limited to before.

  399. I'm no longer limited to anymore because all things are possible

  400. in Jesus, because Christ in me can do it.

  401. And now when I step into a situation and I'm not perfect at

  402. this, I'm still growing in the Lord.

  403. But when I step into a situation, if I was step in

  404. filled with his living water because I've been drawing close

  405. to him, if I was step into that situation and not ask what can I

  406. do? But I can now ask, what can

  407. Jesus do? It's Christ in me.

  408. It's Christ in you. It's no longer whether whether I

  409. can accomplish something, or whether a miracle can be done,

  410. or whether a word can be spoken from His Spirit.

  411. It's Lord. What do you want to do in this

  412. situation? And then as he helps me discern,

  413. boom, God does something because of Christ in me.

  414. So how do we receive this water? Say Drew, OK, I get it.

  415. You're saying he's a supernatural God.

  416. He's given us the same calling as Jesus.

  417. But how do we receive this water so we can be filled?

  418. And that's that's really what I want to encourage us in today.

  419. Now, as I've told you, just as He came to the woman at the

  420. well, He's standing before us today and every day offering us

  421. this water. But we have to be willing to

  422. receive the water. I have to be willing to say I'm

  423. not just going to know that Jesus is there.

  424. I have to let Him love me. I have to let Him pour into me

  425. so that I can love others the way that He loves first, John

  426. 419 says. We love because he first loved

  427. us. I can't love the way Jesus loves

  428. unless I'm I'm willing to let him love me.

  429. Peter wrestled with this concept just like I do.

  430. And Jesus is washing the disciples feet and Peter's like,

  431. you know, you don't wash my feet.

  432. I wash your feet. Your Lord, I'm, I'm unworthy,

  433. you know. And Jesus, he tells Peter this

  434. thing he says, Peter, you don't understand.

  435. If you don't let me wash your feet, you have no pardon me.

  436. If you don't let me fill you, if you don't let me love you, you

  437. have no pardon me. You see the the power that to do

  438. what God has called us to do doesn't come from us trying

  439. harder. It comes from us drinking deeper

  440. of the water that he gives us. It comes from stepping in closer

  441. with Jesus. OK, so how do we do this?

  442. 1st, I must become aware that He actually wants to be with me and

  443. I would encourage you. Just as I said, He wants to be

  444. with you. He created you so you could

  445. enjoy him. He wants you, He loves you, but

  446. not just this He is. He wants to be with you, but

  447. He's so close. Just as I said before Jesus,

  448. when he died on the cross, the veil in the temper that divided

  449. God's presence from us was torn, and now there is no division.

  450. Now God is coming close. Ephesians 26 says He seated us

  451. with Him in the heavenly places. It says in four and five that he

  452. was so great in his love and mercy that that that he raised

  453. us from our trespasses and sin, our death, and he raised us up

  454. to life in him, and now we're seated with Him in the heavenly

  455. places. This means that are your spirit

  456. and his spirit are like this. We're like this close.

  457. We're so close to him. So he wants to be with you and

  458. he's so close. Now if I know that he wants to

  459. be with me and that he's so close, then I read a passage

  460. like Psalm 23 and it is totally different.

  461. It's totally different because he's right there with me and I

  462. and I begin to read the Lord is my shepherd.

  463. Thank you Lord, you, you were right here.

  464. You were my shepherd. I shall not want.

  465. Thank you God, because you provide everything I need.

  466. He makes me lie down in green pasture.

  467. He leads me besides Stillwater. He restores my soul.

  468. Thank you God, You're actively restoring my soul.

  469. You love me and and you've come in close.

  470. He loves you. He's coming close.

  471. And these words are true. Do we see how this is different?

  472. It's different when Jesus walks in the room then thinking of

  473. him, he's, he's out there somewhere.

  474. I hope he gets involved someday, but I don't know when I think of

  475. him out there and then it's like, OK, Psalm 23, the Lord is

  476. my shepherd. I shall not want.

  477. Oh God, I need this to be true. You know what I mean?

  478. But when I recognize who he is, his goodness and His love, that

  479. He is here now, He's moving in power, He's resurrect y'all.

  480. He loves us so much that he went to the cross for you.

  481. He's like, what stands in the way of me being with them?

  482. I'm going to pay that price. I'm going to do it so they know

  483. how much I love them, so they know they have total access to

  484. me. We've got to know that He's

  485. accessible, that we can just reach out.

  486. He's there. The Kingdom of evidence.

  487. It's right here. So if we want to drink the

  488. water, know that he wants to be with you and know how close he

  489. is, he's right here. And then I encourage you to pick

  490. up your word. Pick up the word and drink.

  491. Just drink it in. Start taking big gulps, start

  492. drinking His love and affection for you.

  493. Start drinking of His goodness in his life.

  494. This takes on a totally different flavor when we start

  495. getting how much He loves us and how good he is.

  496. And what he wants to do in our lives is fill us with him and it

  497. starts to, to transform and change us into something we

  498. didn't think was possible. So I encourage you to drink the

  499. water. I had this old thing planned for

  500. the end and I'm, I'm just going to skip it because I think the

  501. Lord wants to do something else. But I want to walk us through

  502. something that just reveals how close he is.

  503. And I hope that the the Holy Spirit will just fill you with

  504. his living water. As I said before, Ephesians 26

  505. says that we are seated right next to Jesus in the heavenly

  506. places. And then Hebrews 416 invites us

  507. into his throne room. He invites us in.

  508. It says come into the throne of grace.

  509. We receive mercy for your time of need.

  510. He's inviting us. If you've never felt invited

  511. into the presence of God, He's inviting you today.

  512. He's standing before you with living water and he's like,

  513. drink up. Because when we drink up, we

  514. become like him. We get filled with him.

  515. Lord, I pray that I'm making this clear enough for hearts,

  516. but I ask that you which speak what I can't.

  517. All right, if you would, we're just going to close our eyes

  518. right now. Remember, Jesus is so close.

  519. He's so close. As Paul says, no longer I who

  520. lives, it's Christ who lives in me.

  521. He lives in you, He's with you. And so right now, I would just

  522. encourage you to visualize Jesus before you visualize him in his

  523. throne room, just as Hebrews 416 says, where he invites us into

  524. the throne of grace. Step into his throne room and

  525. picture your King, who is so close in the Spirit to you.

  526. Picture him right there. And as He's right before you,

  527. I'm just going to ask you some questions.

  528. They're rhetorical questions for your own heart, just to ponder

  529. as you look at Jesus, what does He look like?

  530. What do you see? Encourage you to gaze upon His

  531. face, to look into the eyes of the One who loves more than we

  532. can comprehend, the life giver, the one who is willing to do

  533. anything to rescue you. And look into his eyes.

  534. And what do you see there as he looks at you?

  535. What do you experience in his presence?

  536. And now is you're with your King.

  537. If you would just I'm going to ask him to speak to you and I

  538. would just encourage you. Let him tell you whatever he

  539. wants. Holy God, I pray that you would

  540. give each heart in here your living water.

  541. You would speak your words over their hearts or do whatever you

  542. want. Lord your Lord, you know what

  543. you want to do. I'm just going to give you a

  544. moment with the Lord. Just you and Jesus.

  545. For some of us, we don't really know what's happening.

  546. I just want to encourage you, we're not trying to get spooky.

  547. I just am inviting us to practice how close we are with

  548. the Lord. For some of us, you heard the

  549. Lord speak to your hearts today and the Lord is is moving in

  550. you. He's speaking his life, He's

  551. speaking his identity, He's speaking his love over you.

  552. He's calling you up, he's saying rise up, He's saying come into

  553. my arms and be filled and I hear him saying I love you.

  554. Now it's one thing to read how God loves us in the Bible and

  555. that is what we find our faith on.

  556. We it's founded on the Bible, but it's another thing when we

  557. meet with Jesus and we hear a spirit whisper I love you and

  558. he's saying this today to you. He's saying I love you and my

  559. love transforms everything. He causes everything to to

  560. change. You didn't know it, but you were

  561. made to fly. He's giving you wings so you can

  562. rise in him. You were made for more than what

  563. you thought you were made for. It's not just the purpose of

  564. life that He's calling you to, it's to Him.

  565. He is everything. He's calling you into His arms

  566. where you find life so you can give it.

  567. Holy God, I pray for every heart in here.

  568. And if, if you're willing, if you would just hold out your

  569. hands as if you were going to receive a present.

  570. Holy Spirit, you are our Lord. You are the one that comes in as

  571. our best friend and our counselor, the one that helps us

  572. beyond what we even knew we needed help with.

  573. And Lord, you want to fill and to bless every heart and Holy

  574. Spirit, I pray you would come upon every heart and life right

  575. now with what they didn't know they needed.

  576. That you would draw every heart unto you, as this is your heart

  577. and your passion. Lord, we receive what you would

  578. give us. Would you say that I receive

  579. what you give me? Lord, I receive your living

  580. water. I receive you as Lord.

  581. You are the life giver and I want to be filled with You so I

  582. can love you and love others in the way you desire.

  583. Thank you God for what you're doing in each heart.

  584. Lord, I pray that you would bless every person in this room.

  585. Now, if you are here today and you said that prayer, you, you

  586. declared Jesus is Lord for the first time.

  587. I just want to welcome you into Jesus's lordship, into what he

  588. will do in your life. And so I'm not very good at the

  589. invitation part of this and I just confess that, but wow, God

  590. is moving in your life. If you've received him today and

  591. stepped into a relationship with Him, He is now in you.

  592. He's with you and I pray the joy and the life of Christ come upon

  593. you. Thanks for joining us today.
