Sermon
An Opportunity for Significance | Pastors Matt & Sarah Keller

-
Well, today we are wrapping up our series that we've been
-
calling from here to there. And we've been talking about
-
specifically moving our money in our heart from where we are to
-
greater significance and peace and really looking on at our
-
lives and saying in faith, wherever we are, God, we want to
-
be where you're calling us to wherever, wherever our here is
-
God, you have a there and we've been taking a lot of ground in
-
the series. So if you've missed anything, be
-
sure to go back catch up on YouTube because we've been been
-
hearing testimonies about how God is moving in individual's
-
hearts. Yeah, and as you can tell,
-
Pastor Sarah and I are team teaching today.
-
And the reason why is because we want to talk about the there
-
everyone say there there that God has next for us as a church.
-
Because, you know, you hear us say it often that our purpose
-
around here is that we exist as a church.
-
We exist. We exist to lead people to
-
become fully engaged followers of Jesus.
-
And can I just tell you, we're committed to that.
-
We're going to keep doing that across Southwest Florida, across
-
our nation, around the world, Cape Coral, we're going to keep
-
doing that in Cape Coral. We're going to keep reaching the
-
lost and the hurting and the broken ones downtown.
-
We're going to keep doing that. We're going to keep reaching the
-
next generation of children and young people.
-
We're going to change the city from the inside out.
-
East family. We're going to keep doing that
-
in Lehigh. We're going to keep doing that.
-
In the neighborhoods of Gateway and Alva and Buckingham, We're
-
going to do it. Fort Myers location, we're going
-
to keep doing that. Gods called us to Southwest
-
Florida, We're going to do this. So of course, we've been talking
-
about finances and how we move our finances, as you just said,
-
Babe, to significance and peace. And so financially, it's the
-
tithe. When we return the first fruits,
-
the Bible says the first of our increase to the church, the
-
storehouse where we're fed. It's the tithe that allows us to
-
do that here locally. And we like to say that the
-
tithe keeps the church alive, but we also have what Pastor Rob
-
talked about last weekend, which is Kingdom builders.
-
Everybody say Kingdom builders and see, see Kingdom builders
-
allows us to keep advancing the Kingdom of God through above and
-
beyond giving and generosity. And our Kingdom builders here at
-
Next Level Church focuses on 4 strategic initiatives reaching
-
the lost. And so we have ministry partners
-
around the world, around the nation that are reaching lost
-
people. And it is awesome.
-
We have ministry partners that that are equipping the church.
-
I think about our relational network that we oversee and run
-
our that was in town this week that we were just celebrating.
-
We have over 2. We reached it.
-
We're over 200 churches now. 202.
-
Churches, 202 churches, that's amazing.
-
What a milestone. And we're equipping the church.
-
We're empowering the next generation.
-
I think about our student conference every summer that
-
gets underwritten by our Kingdom builders, giving and generosity.
-
And we bring healing to the hurting.
-
And we partner with ministries around the world that are
-
bringing healing to the hurting, rescuing young girls, young boys
-
from from from human slavery, sex trafficking around the
-
world. We have ministry partners that
-
are doing this. So when we tithe, we keep the
-
local church alive. And when we give above and
-
beyond to Kingdom builders, it helps us fuel all of these
-
things for the Kingdom. And so if you're taking notes
-
today, the title of this message that God has given us is an
-
opportunity for significance, that we believe that we are
-
positioned for an opportunity for significance.
-
And each one of us have a part to play in that significance and
-
in that impact that he has called us to to make and to
-
continue to feel forward. So let's pray.
-
Father, we thank you, Jesus. What an opportunity you gave us.
-
We thank you, God, even as we received communion today, we're
-
just reminded Jesus of the sacrifice you gave to give us
-
all significance. What an opportunity.
-
And so, Father, I pray that as we share today, God, that ears
-
would be open to hear what you, Holy Spirit are saying to the
-
church. God, we just say today, we're
-
listening, we're listening, we're leaning in.
-
God, we want to hear your voice above all.
-
And everyone who agreed with that prayer said Amen.
-
Well, it's hard to believe that it was 24 years ago this week
-
that we had our first Bible study as Next Level church.
-
And my goodness, when we reflect on all that the Lord has done
-
over 24 years, we actually kind of want to do that today.
-
We actually want to we want to talk about our there the next
-
there that God's called us to, but we also want to kind of go
-
back and and and take all of us on a little bit of the journey
-
of next level church. And as all of you know, we have
-
a vision to reach all of Southwest Florida.
-
And the way we do that is we use a multi site strategy to
-
accomplish that around here. We like to say we are one house
-
with. Come on, stay with me.
-
We're one house with. Many.
-
Rooms, yes. And so you hear us say often
-
right now there's a whole bunch of us worshiping Jesus all
-
across Southwest Florida. And so we have our four
-
locations. And so if you're sitting inside
-
of one of those locations right now, you know right where you
-
are. OK, so, so that's the outside of
-
our locations. But let me show you what it
-
looks like on the inside. Because again, as you know, one
-
of the methods, one of the tools, the mediums that we use
-
is video teaching. And we use video.
-
So teaching as a tool to allow us to reach more people than we
-
ever could in just one location. So, so I was thinking about it
-
this week, We have 10 services across our four locations now as
-
a church, every single Sunday we we have 10 services and at least
-
every Sunday, at least seven of those services are video, our,
-
our video teaching. And it's, it's a medium that
-
allows us to multiply. So here's what that means.
-
That means that there's a whole, a lot more people that are
-
watching us on video right now then are watching us in person.
-
And so we just thank God for the ability for us to be one house
-
with many rooms. I was thinking about it that we
-
have families that live in Northwest Cape Coral and if
-
that's you, you know, you know who you are and, and it's
-
beautiful out there. Like there's a whole lot of
-
development going on in Northwest Cape Coral.
-
It's awesome. But I was thinking this week we
-
also have families that live in East Lehigh.
-
So think about it. Those families live like 2
-
hours, especially this time of year with traffic 2 hours apart.
-
But they're all a part of the same church, isn't that?
-
Aren't you thankful that you don't have to drive 2 hours to
-
be a part of what God's doing at next level church?
-
That's the power of a multi site strategy.
-
It's amazing, beautiful, it's amazing, and you know this, this
-
is incredible to think about. 10 services for locations, all of
-
that video technology, It did not start this way.
-
Come on. You just need to know that this
-
has been a faith journey with miracle stories every single
-
step of the way. We started Portable on May 11th,
-
2000, 1002 or sorry, May 12th. My son was born on May 11th.
-
So I merged those dates together, May 12th, 2002, and we
-
had 35 people in the bell tower. Anybody remember what the Bell
-
Tower used to look like? Yeah, We were in the Bell Tower
-
movie theater for four years. We had 35 people on that first
-
Sunday. We had 19 on the second.
-
How many know from here to there?
-
That is the wrong direction. That's like, but we didn't give
-
up. God was just so faithful to us
-
through those beginning years. And then we moved to South Fort
-
Myers High School and we were portable in South Fort Myers
-
High School for another five years.
-
Miracle Stories started serving our city in those years, and God
-
just continued to allow the church to grow.
-
And then it was 15 years ago next month, April of 2011 that
-
we moved into our first permanent location, what we call
-
now our Fort Myers. OK, look at that.
-
That's what it looked like back in the day.
-
Look. At the little bitty trees.
-
And so that was 15 years ago. It's hard to believe.
-
And then three years later in 2014, we bought land and built
-
our E location launched that March of 2014, which was
-
incredible, built from the ground up and God has been
-
moving east of I-75 for over a decade now.
-
And then in 2016, we launched our Coconut Point movie theater
-
location. Some of you may know that we had
-
a movie theater location there and then due to the hurricane
-
that ripped off the roof there, we called that our Bonita
-
Springs location because we had to move to another location and
-
God just moved there. We did end up closing that
-
location in 2020 right before the pandemic.
-
And and yet so many of you, your story began by meeting Jesus
-
through that location. So then in 2018-2019, we had a
-
church lighthouse fellowship in Cape Coral that was given to US.
-
And so then the pandemic slowed down construction.
-
But in 2021, five years ago, come on, Cape Coral, we launched
-
our Cape Coral location. And yeah, that's awesome.
-
And next Sunday, Cape Coral family, we're coming to party.
-
March the 8th next week, we are going to be partying to
-
celebrate our five years of Cape Coral.
-
And then a lot of, you know, fall of 2024, we launched our
-
downtown location. And what God is doing and has
-
done downtown is simply miraculous.
-
And so that's a little of a story.
-
So, so rewind back to 2018-2019. God gave us the opportunity as a
-
church to purchase 10 more acres of land here at our Fort Myers
-
location. That gives us a total of 20
-
acres. Yes.
-
So there's the present Fort Myers location and then that's
-
the ten extra acres that God gave us.
-
And we were able to pay cash for that in 2019.
-
And so God gave us a vision at that time to build a large
-
auditorium that gives us the ability to grow at our Fort
-
Myers location, as well as a facility large enough to
-
accommodate all of the of the events that we can come together
-
like student conference or like network events like we just had
-
this week or beautiful conference.
-
Like, like we need a facility to do that.
-
It was also during that time that the Holy Spirit spoke to us
-
that we weren't supposed to build a large auditorium right
-
away, but we were actually supposed to launch Cape Coral
-
and downtown first. Like we had a word from God that
-
we were supposed to launch Cape Coral and downtown 1st.
-
And can we tell you like to most church consultants or like
-
church growth, you know, strategist, that makes no sense.
-
They literally they would tell us like you need to build a
-
large auditorium first. But we knew we knew we had heard
-
from God. So listen, if you're sitting
-
right now in a Cape Coral or downtown location, look at each
-
other. Come on, look around the room
-
for a second. Cape Coral and downtown,
-
literally thousands of lives have been impacted because of
-
how the Holy Spirit spoke to us to to not build the building
-
first, but to to launch Cape Coral in downtown.
-
Which by the way, church, This is why it matters that as Christ
-
followers we are praying and we are seeking the voice of God and
-
we are listening to the Holy Spirit because we have to obey
-
God in every area of our life and worldly knowledge is not the
-
same as godly wisdom. Say it.
-
Let me say that again, worldly knowledge is not the same as
-
godly wisdom. So often times what makes sense
-
to us or what somebody, what makes sense to somebody else, or
-
this is the way it's always done.
-
If we will pause and say, God, I don't want to just go through
-
the motions. I don't want to assume that what
-
they're saying is what I'm supposed to do.
-
No, God, I want to hear from you.
-
I need your wisdom. I need it more than godly
-
wisdom. Like that is, that's what
-
happens. So we launched downtown in
-
October of 2024, and then five months later we began the next
-
steps to expand Fort Myers because God has said Cape Coral.
-
Then downtown, then you can begin to expand.
-
So we started to take those steps for the Fort Myers
-
expansion. And that was when we found out
-
that FedEx on Metro Parkway, which is right behind the land
-
that we already owned, who had been there for 14 years, had
-
just moved out and that building was empty for the first time.
-
Oh my goodness. So yes, this is that building,
-
this is the inside, this is what it looks like, and here's what I
-
want us to understand. Church family.
-
This is what God had in mind. This is what he was doing when
-
he told us eight years ago that we were not supposed to build
-
this first. He had Cape Coral in mind, He
-
had downtown in mind, but he also knew that this building
-
would get empty and it was going to be key to the expansion that
-
God had for us on this property. And this is what happens when
-
you hear the voice of God. You obey him and you follow Him.
-
This timing is always perfect. So, so let us explain why this
-
matters that see, in order for us to develop and build a larger
-
auditorium here at our Fort Myers location that allows us to
-
serve honestly, about 2000 people per service will be able
-
to serve on a weekend. On Sunday, we're going to need
-
another way off of the property. And so this building gives us 2
-
lanes in and two lanes out that connect to the land we already
-
own. There's a little, there's a
-
rendering of it. You can kind of start to see it.
-
OK, so Metro Parkway is down there and then our churches up
-
there, we'll we'll zoom out here in a second, but but this
-
building gives us that as well as a 31,000 square foot building
-
that's essential for us to have before we build the larger
-
auditorium. So if you're new to next level,
-
if you're a snowbird, this is kind of the first time you're
-
here in any of this. We want you to know last
-
November, we told the church at Christmas last November, we went
-
under contract to purchase this building.
-
Come on, somebody so awesome. So we're scheduled to close in
-
just 30 days. Yeah, yes.
-
So which is exciting. So we've been working with a
-
church design specialist on what the potential for the entire
-
property could look like. So check this out.
-
So this first picture is from Metro Parkway.
-
So again, this is Metro Parkway. This is the FedEx building.
-
And just follow those two roads. That would be a new parking lot
-
that we would build. That would be a new building
-
that we would build. The blue roof building is our
-
current building. Let's flip it around and look at
-
it from Plantation Rd. Now you see, right?
-
OK, so from Plantation Rd. this will become a new kids and
-
student building. We will renovate that for just
-
kids and students. We could build a brand new
-
auditorium, 600 more parking spaces that then leads to that
-
Metro Parkway building. Isn't that exciting?
-
So a couple months ago in January, during 21 days of
-
prayer and fasting, I woke up 1 morning and I felt the Lord say,
-
Matt, it's time to take, it's time to take possession of the
-
land. It's time to take possession of
-
the land. And I knew that was scripture.
-
So I got up and I went to my grey chair in my office at the
-
house and, and, and I started to pray and I looked up Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1, which is where God tells Moses and the children of
-
Israel after 40 years of wandering the exact same thing.
-
I want, I want you to see this because I believe this is a word
-
for our church in this season. Deuteronomy chapter one verse 8
-
says this God speaking to Moses, See I have set the land before
-
you go in and take possession. I want to say take possession.
-
Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your
-
father's. Then look at this part to
-
Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. Do you see the multiple
-
generations here to give to them and their offspring after them?
-
So what's happening here? God is speaking to Moses, saying
-
Moses, you've been wandering for a long time.
-
You've been where you are for a long, long time.
-
It's time to go in and take possession of the land that I
-
promised your ancestors generations ago.
-
I promised this land to them and it's a multi generational
-
covenant promise and church family.
-
We believe this is a generational project that
-
positions our church to impact Southwest Florida, our nation
-
and the world for generations to come.
-
We believe it. So if you if you back up five
-
verses to verse three, you see where God gives Moses this word.
-
I want to show you look at verse 3 says in the 40th year.
-
So they've been wandering for 40 years.
-
On the first day of the 11th month, Moses spoke to the people
-
of Israel, according to look at this part, all that the Lord had
-
given him in commandment to them.
-
In other words, what was Moses doing?
-
Moses was essentially the pastor of the church back then, right?
-
The children of Israel, God was. God gave Moses a word.
-
Moses spoke that word to the people and said this is what God
-
wants. This is the direction we need to
-
go. And church family, we believe
-
God's given us a word for the future of our church.
-
We believe God's given us in the same way God's given us a word
-
for the future of our church. This is our next step.
-
This is our, this is our next there.
-
It won't say there. God wants to take us from here
-
to there. And the word is take possession
-
of the land, take possession of the land.
-
And we were on sabbatical for 50 days in August and September of
-
last year. I was praying one morning and I
-
was journaling and I felt the Holy Spirit just speaks so
-
loudly to my heart. And the Lord said, Matt, get
-
FedEx like church. I heard the Holy Spirit say we
-
need this building. This is our next step, get
-
FedEx. And when we came home, when we
-
got off sabbatical, come on, Pastor Charles, when we got, it
-
was a, it was a war, it was work, but we had a word from God
-
and it took us a few months to negotiate that thing.
-
But God was good and God is kind and gracious.
-
And so we went under contract. And as you just said, we're
-
scheduled to close church family on March 31st in 30 days.
-
Let's go, let's go. I love this all right.
-
Look at verse 6. The Lord our God said to us in
-
Horeb, you have stayed long enough at this mountain.
-
Anybody in your life ever been in the same place?
-
And all of a sudden God's like it is long enough to move like
-
long enough. Been there long enough.
-
He says you've stayed long enough at this mountain.
-
Turn and take your journey. Church family, we believe it's
-
time to turn and take this journey.
-
This is the next phase of the vision of Next Level Church.
-
So let us just slow down because this is a $12 million prize
-
project. We'll just wait for the gasp or
-
the gulp, whatever response we might have.
-
It's easy for God. But half of that I just, we just
-
want you to know, half of that is the purchase price.
-
Come on. So this is prime real estate off
-
of Metro Parkway in a building that exists, but it does need
-
renovated, built out, and this won't be a church building.
-
So some people have said so is this another location?
-
Are we having church in there? So we will not have Sunday
-
services in there, but it positions us to have a larger
-
church on this property and to serve all of our present
-
locations and our future, our future locations.
-
We believe again, for generations to come.
-
We actually had someone look at us and they said, wow, you guys
-
are already getting old and you're still like moving forward
-
and building all of this. First of all, thank you very
-
much. I think I look great anyway.
-
Say it girl, girl, you do look great.
-
You were talking about how everyone's watching us on video.
-
I'm like just so you know, the video does add 10 lbs that looks
-
better in person but. That needs to be said.
-
Video ads, yes. So we expect when we see you in
-
persons for you to say you're skinnier in person and younger,
-
younger. How much younger?
-
But I thought it it was awesome. They looked at us like, wow,
-
you're getting old and you still have vision.
-
We're like, right, Because this isn't about us.
-
This is about the generations that are to come.
-
There is more people who need reach.
-
There are generations that we believe are going to be reached
-
through this. So so here's what this Metro
-
Parkway building does for us. It gives us, as we've been
-
saying, it gives us access to Metro Parkway, which is a major
-
5 lane Rd. in our that goes all the way South to Estero, all the
-
way N to downtown Fort Myers. It gives us a new video and
-
production studio things like freedom curriculum videos,
-
podcasts, all of these ways that resources to the nation's will
-
be able to create there and some of you're like well how do we do
-
it now Well we're. Renting an Airbnb?
-
Yeah for yeah for freedom. We had to rent an Airbnb but but
-
honestly, our presence studio is like a 10 by 15 little X office
-
room in our trailers Outback. And we're not ungrateful, but we
-
have replaced the floor twice because it rots in Florida and
-
it's literally we'll come into the studio sometimes and there's
-
giant green red tape X's that we tape over holes and it's like
-
don't stand there because you'll fall.
-
You'll literally fall through the.
-
Floor, our staff can tell you absolutely, US women, we're not
-
allowed to wear heels because we will fall through the floor.
-
So we are not ungrateful. But those trailers will not last
-
forever, although they have lasted through several
-
hurricanes and we're very thankful for that.
-
It will also give U.S. central offices.
-
So all of our central staff will be able to office out of there.
-
We'll be able to resource and serve all of our locations even
-
better, in addition to a distribution center.
-
So because this was a FedEx distribution center, now we're
-
going to be able to distribute to the nations from this place.
-
But it's got the garage door, it's already built in.
-
And so we are so excited about that.
-
We're going to be able to serve our cities even better because
-
we're going to be able to keep things on hand like we never
-
have before, and we're going to be able to be positioned to
-
serve after a crisis like never before.
-
Food, water. Just immediately we'll have the
-
distribution ready for. Maybe the thing I'm most excited
-
about we're going to be able to house our SU at NLC Ministry
-
Leadership Program in there. Listen to this church.
-
We're going to be able to have 80 students trained students, 80
-
students a year through our SCU. Matter of fact, one of the
-
rendering pictures they gave us is a picture of what that could
-
look like. So they're they'll students will
-
have their own entrance. There'll be a whole section of
-
the building that'll just be for ministry training students, this
-
outdoor area where they'll be able to to sit with their
-
laptops and do homework. We're so I think we have a
-
rendering of just the building. There you go.
-
That's like from metro what it could look like.
-
So church family, it's happening, it's time.
-
It's time to take and we'll say take possession.
-
So here's what this means for for all of us as a whole church.
-
This is our next there and now is the time.
-
So let us explain financially how we get from here to there.
-
So Kingdom Builders, as most of you know, but we just want to
-
slow down for all of us. Kingdom Builders is our one
-
fund. It's a one fund where we give
-
above and beyond our ties and our offerings and that allows us
-
to fuel forward the vision of the church locally, nationally
-
and globally. So our goal for 2026 for Kingdom
-
Builders is to raise $4 million, which that 4 million will fuel
-
forward all of our partners, all of our initiatives, all of our
-
missionaries, things like student conference, our network,
-
all of the things that we are able to do with compassion and
-
one hope and Bibles and everything will be within that
-
as well as then 2.5 million that we'll be able to dedicate that
-
will go toward this metro project this year.
-
So let us so show you a strategy for the whole 12 million and how
-
we we feel like we can get there.
-
So we'll actually we'll kind of move out of the way.
-
So it's a $12 million project. And so at the by the end of last
-
year because of your generosity, we have already, we saw over a
-
half million dollars come in already, which is how you.
-
Celebrate that. So then the the first real
-
milestone as we mentioned is March 31st, March 31st.
-
So in order for us to close and purchase the building, we need
-
to to raise at least $1,000,000. But let me say this, last week
-
as we were casting this vision to some leaders in our church,
-
we had a couple come forward and they said to us, Pastor Matt and
-
Sarah, here's what we feel LED in the spirit to do.
-
We want to to provide a matching fund through the month of March
-
between now and the close closing of the building to
-
purchase a matching fund that for every dollar that's given,
-
dollar for dollar, one to one, we want to match up to
-
$1,000,000 that's given this month.
-
Come on church family, let's go, let's go.
-
What could God do? What could God do?
-
So that's the first one is March 30.
-
First, yeah. So everything that you give,
-
just think it's twice. It's just doubling.
-
It's literally doubling when you're giving it.
-
So that first benchmark, March 31st, 1,000,000, the second
-
benchmark then will be December 31st by the end of this year to
-
raise another 1.5 million. Then in all of 2027 to raise
-
another 2.5 million. That then leaves this gap and
-
you can see where the orange line is.
-
That is a $7,000,000 loan. Now great news is we have
-
already secured with our partner Wesleyan Investment Foundation
-
alone to be able to finish this project.
-
They've already said they will give us $7,000,000 to finish
-
this out, which is incredible. But we have a faith goal.
-
Come on, they all 12 million could be debt free in Jesus
-
name. So that's our real faith goal
-
because again like you said, this is easy for God.
-
And so, and This is why this matters.
-
The faster we fund this first part of the project, the sooner
-
we can move on to Phase 2, which is the new auditorium in the
-
parking and finishing out the entire property.
-
As a matter of fact, I think we have that aerial view.
-
Yeah. So this kind of would show.
-
Plantation. That's Metro.
-
So the faster God supplies for this phase, the quicker we can
-
move on to this phase and see more and more people say yes to
-
Jesus and dedicate their lives and see the greater impact that
-
God has for us as. So God spoke to Moses and said,
-
take possession of the land. It's time to go in.
-
It's time to take possession. And through Joshua, they did.
-
God moved them into a whole new season, into a whole new place
-
and church. We believe that's the season we
-
find ourselves in now as well. So what does that look like?
-
What, what are what are the next steps for all of us?
-
Well, for some of you, as we've been talking through the weeks
-
of the series, some of you, your next step is to get into the my
-
God, my money class and really start to get a handle on your
-
personal finances. Some of us it's to get out of
-
debt and to to live on a budget. Stay focused on that.
-
Some of us, it's to begin and to tithe, to begin to put God first
-
in your finances. For others of us, it's above and
-
beyond giving to to giving to Kingdom builders, which fuels
-
forward all of our initiatives, including this project.
-
And this is for all of us, whether you're a teenager,
-
whether you're retired, a business person.
-
This is what Pastor Rob was talking about last week, that we
-
can have a plan, we can have a vision, we can have a dream.
-
We can work that plan. We can say, all right, God,
-
what's already in my my hands? What have you already put in my
-
hands? What are some things maybe we
-
could sell or get creative on to say I want to be a part of the
-
Kingdom. What is in my hands and what is
-
the plan and then write the vision down.
-
What's in God's hands? What does he have he owns at
-
all. Oh God, would you take what's in
-
your hands? Put it in my hand and if you do
-
God, I won't use it for me. I will fuel forward the Kingdom.
-
And then what is the dream? What is the dream?
-
What can we hold on to in our heart that say, Oh God, in a
-
radical kind of generosity way, how could I make a Kingdom
-
impact? How could I give meaning to my
-
money? We can have a plan and a vision
-
and a dream and we can each go from here to there because this
-
is what Jesus said that we each should do when he looked at his
-
disciples and gave us all the Great Commission found in
-
Matthew 2819. Jesus says, therefore go and
-
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
-
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
-
And he gave this to all of us as our Commission, to say you need
-
to go from here to there, you need to go and you need to
-
continue to make disciples. So there's a young man in our
-
church named Jayden Humphries. And Jayden was high school
-
student in Cape Coral and was lost and discouraged, depressed.
-
His life revolved around football.
-
This Yeah, this is Jayden. He was on the news earlier
-
today, and he's one of our SEU and NLC students.
-
We took a picture of him this week.
-
And Jayden got invited to the first service of our Cape Coral
-
location five years ago. And in those early weeks of
-
coming to Cape Coral, Jayden surrendered his life to Jesus.
-
He said yes. He raised his hand to Jesus and
-
God radically transformed his Yeah, he got baptized the next
-
Sunday. He's in his pictures of his
-
baptism last night. And he wanted to go play college
-
football. And the Holy Spirit interrupted
-
his plans and said, I've called you into ministry.
-
And for the last four years he has been in our SEU at NLC
-
ministry training program and he graduates in in two months.
-
He graduates and guess what? He's ready.
-
He's ready to multiply the gospel.
-
He's ready to reach more Jaden's in his generation.
-
He's ready. He's ready.
-
And I think about when I think about what God's called us to
-
this mountain he's called us to climb, this land he's called us
-
to take possession of, I think to myself, how many more Jaden's
-
like how many more hundreds, literally church, how many more
-
thousands of Jaden's are across Southwest Florida from Northwest
-
Cape to East Lehigh to South Naples to porch truck,
-
everywhere in between. This is the territory God's
-
given to us. This is the land.
-
And he said, let's reach you. This is our next.
-
This is our there that God's called us to as a church.
-
So we're going to go from here to there and we all have a part
-
to play in that significance. But maybe you're here today in
-
one of our locations are online and you would say you're more
-
like Jayden. All of those years ago, someone
-
invited you. You ended up here.
-
Maybe you've been battling depression or feel lonely or
-
lost or like, what does what meaning does my life have?
-
Does it even have significance? We believe that maybe right now
-
you're here is that you're separated from God because you
-
don't know Jesus as your Savior. But the good news is you don't
-
have to stay here. You can go there.
-
You can have life abundant here on earth.
-
You can know that heaven is your home because God loves you.
-
He sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross.
-
That's what we were doing when we were taking communion, just
-
celebrating that. And he did that for you.
-
And we want to give you an opportunity to say yes to Jesus.
-
So with every eye closed and every head bowed, let's just
-
just invite the Holy Spirit into this moment.
-
And if, if that's you, you don't know Jesus as your savior, you
-
can today, it's as simple as admitting that you're a Sinner
-
and, and knowing that Jesus died for your sins and wanting to
-
place your life and follow him. So if that's you and you want to
-
say yes to Jesus today, I just want to, we want to pray for
-
you. So you can do that.
-
Whether you're online, you can put it in the chat, but in this
-
room, we're going to have you raise your hand on the count of
-
three. Just raise it up really high so
-
I can know who we're praying for on the count of three, just say
-
that's me. I want to know Jesus as my
-
savior. 123, Just raise it up really high.
-
I see that hand. I see those hands at our
-
locations. Just go ahead and raise those
-
hands. I see that hand.
-
I see that hand. Anyone else online, you can put
-
it in the chat. Say that's me.
-
I want to say yes to Jesus. Take that hand that you just
-
raised and place it on your heart.
-
Let's make this personal. Jesus, we thank you and we
-
believe Jesus, that you died on the cross for our sin.
-
We admit today that we are a Sinner.
-
We've messed up and we do feel separated from you.
-
But God, today we turn and we say we want to follow you.
-
Would you place us in the family of God?
-
Would you change our life? Would you send the Holy Spirit?
-
We surrender our life to you today and we want to follow you
-
for the rest of our life. We pray in Jesus name, Amen.
-
Amen. Hey, many people just said yes
-
to Jesus. Can we come right now?
-
That never gets old. Never get thank.
-
You Lord. If that was you, we want to help
-
you. We have a free Bible we want to
-
put in your hands. So before you leave, we want to
-
put this in your hands. When you leave the property,
-
you'll be able to find the connection stent to say, hey,
-
can I get that Bible or hey, I just said yes, we want to
-
celebrate that and give you some next steps in the best decision
-
that you in your Amen. Amen.
-
Isn't it good to be in the House of God?
-
You know what? We're not done yet.
-
Let's stand up. Everybody come on.
-
Every location. Let's stand to our feet.
-
Whoo. God's got it there.
-
Somebody say there and it's not here.
-
We're going somewhere. God's taking us somewhere.
-
God's taking us somewhere. The team, I want us to sing.
-
Come on, let's sing. That I trust.
-
See God every location. God, trust God.
-
And I trust in God, my Savior, the one who will never fail all.
-
We think. Maybe you've come in today to
-
one of our locations and there's there's a need that's staring
-
you down. I just feel in my spirits to
-
pray that faith would rise up in your heart today.
-
Father, you see across each room, Lord, you see and you know
-
right where each one of us are. God, you see marriages, Lord,
-
they feel like they're on shaky ground.
-
God, would you move in those marriages?
-
God, you see where people are feeling insecure about their job
-
and, and maybe someone you just lost your job and in Jesus name,
-
God, I pray you would supply a new job, you would open a new
-
door, you would give them faith, you would let faith rise up in
-
our hearts. God give us wisdom.
-
Father, you see what's going on, Lord in a health issue and we
-
pray healing in Jesus name, Holy Spirit, we pray your power, your
-
blessing, God, your provision, Lord Jesus across your sons and
-
daughters today. God, we don't put our eyes on
-
the wind in ways we put our eyes on you.
-
I trust in God. Lord, we seek you and you
-
answer. Come on, let's sing that out.
-
I saw the Lord. Why?
-
I trust Him, That's why I trust Him.
-
I saw the Lord and he heard, and he answered, and I saw the Lord,
-
and he heard, and he answered, and I saw the Lord, and he heard
-
and he answered. That's why I trust Him.
-
That's why I trust in God my Savior, the One you will never
-
pray, you will never pray. You not trusting God you must
-
sing. God, you will never pray.
-
We thank you God, we thank you for the vision that you have put
-
before us. I just like you did with the
-
people of Israel when you said turn.
-
Take this journey God in every area of our lives.
-
I pray God, we would hear your voice, not the not the worldly
-
knowledge, but your wisdom. God give us wisdom.
-
Father, you see God, the future of our church.
-
God, you see this 12 million, we were laughing and saying it's
-
easy, but God it is, it's easy for you.
-
So God, would you allow us to be a part of it?
-
God, would you give us steps of obedience?
-
God, would you give us faith? God to, to have the plan, Lord
-
Jesus to write that vision down to start to dream about how we
-
could be a part of the significance.
-
And God, we pray for the next generation.
-
God, we pray for the nation. Lord Jesus, we thank you God,
-
that you are the God of generations.
-
You are the God of the nations. And so, Father, would you
-
continue to allow us, God, to advance and be a part God of
-
your church. You said in your word that you
-
would build your church and the gates of hell would not prevail.
-
So God, we are thankful to be a part of that today.
-
We pray all of this and I pray blessing and favor over your
-
people today. And everyone agreed, said Amen.
