Shame Off You | Pastor Luis Quintero

So glad you're here online, Family, we see you.

We're grateful you're with us. Everybody in this room, you put

your hands together. Let's welcome everybody that's

joining us this weekend. If we've we've never met, if

we've never had the opportunity to do so.

My name is Luis Quintero. I'm one of our pastors here on

staff. I get to serve with our lead

pastors, Pastors Matt and Pastor Sarah on our executive team.

I'm also a part of our teaching team and it's just such a great

honor to get to share God's work today.

I just want to let you know, Pastor Matt today is along with

Pastor Charles, another one of our our teaching pastors There

are in one of our network churches in Arizona.

They're ministering there and so be praying for Pastor Matt.

But we're just so grateful for our pastors, aren't we?

They't amazing. They love God, they love US, and

come on. Yeah, show some love to your

pastors. We're just so grateful for you

pastors. And we we get the honor, I get

the honor today to close out a series that we've been on for

the last several weeks. This is week #4 and we're

closing out a series that's called Don't Let Doubt.

Everybody say Don't let doubt take you out.

That's what we've been talking about over the last several

weeks. We've been looking at how doubt,

how the enemy uses things like fear and other tactics to make

us doubt God. And, and when that happens, then

that doubt takes us out of all of the promises of God, all of

the potential God has for our lives.

And, and today my assignment as we close this series, I get to

talk about one of those little tools the enemy uses often in

our lives to to keep us from trusting God from from believing

in in the promises of God and to take us out.

And this specific, this, this specific little tool that he

uses. It's one of those that often

sits right underneath doubt. It's kind of one of those that's

a little deeper. It's really quiet.

And for many of us, we've been carrying, we've been carrying

something like this for a long time.

And The thing is that we rarely talk about it.

Today I want us to see how the enemy often time uses shame to

make us doubt God. And when he when he makes his

dog out, he takes us out from all the potential, all the

promises of God. And so I just want to invite us

to open up our hearts. Every location right now, I want

to invite you to just bow your head, close your eyes.

I want to invite us to pray. I want to invite us to just

allow the Lord to do a work in our hearts today.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this opportunity to be

together in your house. God, I thank you for everybody

that is under the sound of my voice today.

Lord, we just come to you and we say, God, we open up our hearts

to your word, Lord. Well, if there's anything right

now that we would that that that would keep us from receiving the

good seat of your word, we lay it aside.

If there is worry if there is any any just distraction or we

put it down, we lay it down at your feet and and we just open

up our hearts to your word. We open up our hearts to your

spirit. Lord, speak to us today.

Heal us today, change us today. We pray, pray just allow me to

be a conduit of your spirit, Lord that I would just be in

tune with your spirit as your word just leads forward.

We pray all this in Jesus mighty name and everybody said Amen and

Amen. So I was preparing this week and

just praying about all right, Lord, I was trying to remember

the first time that I felt shame in my life and it was it didn't

take that long. I have a pretty pretty quick

core memory that came up. And if you've never heard some

of my story, I grew up in in Columbia.

I grew up in a Christian household.

My parents were amazing. They exposed us to the things of

God from very, very young. And so I was in church like 4

times a week. Monday nights I was in church.

I don't even remember what was Monday nights, but I was there.

I remember being there Wednesday nights.

It was Bible study. Every other Saturday was prayer

and fasting. Sunday morning, it was the

services. I was there all the time.

And I remember this specific memory.

I must have been like 8 or 9 years old.

It was a Wednesday night Bible study.

There was like 100 people at the church.

And I remember coming in, it was a long day of school and, you

know, I was tired. And I remember the pastor, I

think he was teaching on David and Goliath.

I'm like, I know this one. And so I was like, I'm going to

take his news. And so I just, I remember laying

down on my mom's lap and how many of you have ever like you

fall asleep and then you startle yourself up like you wake up

like all jolted up. Anybody else like so this, this

happened to me. The problem is how it happened.

I was sleep and the next thing I know, I jolted myself up by

ripping the loudest fart. I'm 18, like an 8 year old has

ever. I I believe this wholeheartedly

that it was and I just jolted up.

And the worst part is I, I jolted up and then I just saw

everybody's face turn. Everybody's laughing.

I felt the blood rush to my face.

I smiled, but I wanted the earth to swallow me.

Who does that? I just pretended like I was

still asleep and went back down to sleep.

And I remember laying on my mom's lap and thinking, who does

that? Like what is wrong with me?

That's the first time that I actually felt that there was

something wrong with me. Somebody that makes mistakes in

their sleep, well, how do you do that?

And then as I started kind of going through my years in

school, I remember not too far after that, probably a year

later, I was in class and I was a very active kid.

And so I was probably messing up somebody's day or joking around.

And I remember teaching correcting me.

And she corrected me in front of everybody.

And at the end she said, shame on you.

And I remember thinking, what, what does that even mean?

Later on, I remember being in a in recess.

We were just playing soccer with a buddy and we got into it.

You know, things happen. You want to win.

We start kicking each other, punching each other.

We're fighting. Teacher comes over and separates

us, goes what's what is going on here?

Hey, shame on you guys. And I remember thinking, what is

the shame thing? Why is it, why is it like a

thing that they just throw on me like a jacket?

What is what does that even mean?

And why does it feel like every time I hear that, it's not that

I made a mistake, but it feels like something's wrong with you.

You are the mistake. And you see that's exactly how

shame works. Shame takes a negative

experience and then he personalizes it.

So instead of it being I made a mistake, shame says the enemy

uses shame and says you are the mistake.

It sticks to our identity. Shame sticks and attacks our

identity, and that's what the enemy does.

The enemy takes these moments in life where maybe we've made a

mistake, where where we're sinful, or something happened,

or maybe something was done to us.

Maybe there was a simple thing that was done to us, something

wrong that was done to us. And the enemy takes those

things, attaches shame to them, and then with those things, it

then distorts our identity because we start believing

things about ourselves that are not true.

Here's the problem. The problem is this.

If shame can distort our identity, then it can actually

distort our destiny. It can distort our future.

Because if I'm believing things about myself that are not true,

I'm not going to be able to believe God about the things

that He's believing for me, that he calls on Scripture for me.

You see where I'm going with this?

You see on healed shame can keep us from living in the freedom

that Jesus came to give us when he died on the cross.

Jesus said this in John 10/10. He said the thief comes only to

steal kill and destroy specifically for this message

your identity kill, steal and destroy your identity and Jesus

says I have come that they may have life and have it to the

full. Now that that word full means a

lot right. If if Jesus meant full life for

us, it doesn't mean that we're going to have perfect lives

without problems. It means that we can have a full

life with abundant overflow of God, with wholeness, with

freedom, with true identity in him, so that no matter what

comes our way, we can live in his will.

You see, I believe that there are many of us here today under

the sound of my voice, every location.

Who? Maybe you're missing out on that

full life that Jesus came to give us because shame keeps

whispering. Yeah, yeah.

That's not for you, though. Yeah.

That that that's that's for other people.

You, you're broken. You are broken.

And many of us maybe believe that I am broken.

Pastor Lewis, you don't understand.

Though I have a broken sexual past.

Pastor Lewis, you don't understand.

There are things that that I've done here in the last few years

and in my present that I am broken.

I can't fix this. I can't.

It's the same thing over and over.

Some of us walk around feeling like we're unwanted.

Pastor Lewis, you don't understand.

I'm in my second, third divorce. You don't understand, Pastor

Lewis. I live on the streets.

I'm. I'm homeless.

The shelters won't even take me. I am actually unwanted.

I grew up in the foster system from home to home to home to

home. Nobody wanted me.

I am actually unwanted. And many of us walk around and,

and, and we believe this, this thing that attached to our, our

identity, Many of us deal with addiction and, and we deal with,

with lying maybe, or, or anger. And we believe that we are

damaged. Something was done to us.

Maybe something happened earlier in our lives.

And then there's no way God can fix this.

I, I feel dumb. I am disqualified.

You don't understand the mistakes that make at school,

the mistakes that make them work.

I am, I am dumb and this is what shame does.

It attacks our identity and here's what the enemy would

love. The enemy would love to keep you

with that distorted identity because it'll keep you from the

promises of God that are yes and Amen for those who have placed

their lives in Christ Jesus. He hears the thing.

Shame can be hoped away, can be wished away.

Shame can only be healed that the cross.

Shame can only be healed by Jesus and the work that he did

on the cross recovery for us. Here's what you need to know

today. I believe Jesus wants to change

some names today. I believe Jesus wants to heal

some hearts today. I believe Jesus is saying this

not shame on you, shame off you son, shame off you daughter.

I pay for it in Calvary already. And I believe today you can

receive healing in the mighty name of Jesus.

I've titled my message today, shame off you.

Look at your neighbor and say shame off you.

Come on, shame off you. Jesus came and he said shame off

you. Now, now here's the deal.

When we're struggling and dealing with shame, there are

certain things that will manifest in our lives, certain

things that will come up in our lives.

And so I want us to look at a scripture today.

This was the the very first account where we see shame

coming into the world. This is the moment where Adam

and Eve, just for context, we're going to go to Genesis, Genesis

Genesis 3 · chapter mention

chapter 3. Adam and Eve sinned.

They went against the will of God.

They disobeyed God. If you know the story, they live

perfectly in in the Garden of Eden with God.

There was nothing wrong. There was closeness intimacy

that were naked. It was, it was free, it was

amazing. And God gave him dominion over

everything, over the food, over the animals.

But God told him, hey, there's only one thing I don't want you

to do. And he's to eat from this one

tree. And then here comes Satan, the

serpent comes in and he convinces Eve to eat from that

tree. Eve goes ahead and does it.

And then Adam then follows along.

And what happens here we're going to start reading is the

moment that they realized, Oh my goodness, there's some shame

coming in. So verse 7 says this, This is

both Adam and Eve. Then the eyes of both of them

were open and they realized they were naked.

There it is. That's where shame came into the

world. So they sewed fig leaves

together and made coverings for themselves.

Now they're covering from each other.

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he

was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid

from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

But the Lord God call to the man, and he said, Where are you?

And Adam answered, I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid

because I was naked, so I hid. And then God said, Who told you

you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree

that I commanded you not to eat from?

And Adam said, the woman you put here with me, she gave me some

fruit from the tree and I ate it.

Come on Adam, come on brother. Then the Lord God said to the

woman, what is it that you have done?

The woman said, the serpent deceived me and I hated you.

See, everything changed after this moment.

Sin entered the world, and so did shame.

And so I want us to look at four ways in which shame manifests

itself in our lives. These are these are probably

things that if you're dealing with shame, you're going to

recognize in your own life because this is exactly what has

plagued humanity ever since that moment.

Here's the first thing. The first way in which shame

manifests in our lives is this shame makes us hide from God.

Shame makes us hide from God. In verse 8, we see that they hid

from the Lord among the trees of the garden.

You see, what happens is we often hide from God because we

believe that because of what we've done, because of what has

happened to us, that he hates us.

That he doesn't want to do anything with such a messed up

person. That my addiction, my anger, the

thing that was done to me in my past, makes me unworthy of God's

love, makes me unworthy of God's care for me.

And So what we do is we hide from God, we hide from his

presence. We don't spend time with God.

We hide from his word. We don't pick up the truth of

God's word to cover our lives. And then we hide from God's

house, the people of God. We hide, we stay away from the

things of God. And my friends, I'm here to tell

you today, nothing good happens when we're away from God.

Nothing good happens. Our flesh kicks in our our

desires kick in. And we often wonder, why do we

act and respond and think the way we do is because oftentimes

there's shame attached to it. Now, I want you to notice

something very powerful about this story.

In this story, notice that God did not leave Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve hid from God. The very next thing we see is

what we see. God coming and looking for Adam

and Eve. You see, God was, God was

looking for both of them. But shame whispers, God is

disappointed in you. God doesn't want to do anything

with you. God cannot use you.

God loves other people more than you.

But the gospel of Jesus Christ says that even though we have

messed up, even though wrong things have happened to us, God

so loved the word that he said, Jesus, there is grace for you.

He loves you. He's calling some names today.

He's saying, hey, Bob, I'm looking for you.

Hey, Amy, I'm looking for you. Hey Natalie, me, I'm looking for

you. God is looking and searching for

His children. This is grace and He wants to

heal you today. He wants to change your name

today #2 What a shame. How does shame manifest in our

lives? First, it makes us hide from

God, but second, shame makes us cover from one another.

Shame makes us cover from others.

Verse 7, it's when they realized that they had sinned and shame

came in Adam and Eve. They sewed fig leaves together

and they made covering for themselves.

In other words, now all of a sudden they were very aware of

their shortcomings. They were very aware of their of

their humanness, right? And they started covering, they

started kind of pretending and kind of, you know, hiding from

one another. You see, we may not be using

good old fig leaves like they did, but there's some modern day

fig leaves that we hide behind and we cover from others.

Some of us, we believe we're so damaged and we believe we're so

dumb that that we hide behind our success.

That if you only see how successful my business is, how

successful my family is, if you can only see how that's it

proves that I am not that damaged.

I'm not that dumb. But we go home and we still deal

with that. Some of us, we hide behind

perfection. If everything is just pristine,

if everything looks good on social media and everybody

believes that I am perfect, maybe I proved that.

Maybe I'm not that unwanted. And some of us, we love humor,

but we hide behind our humor. We feel so unwanted.

But because we're funny, we keep joking.

We keep doing all of this because it's the only way that

we can feel some love from people.

But in reality, we go home and we feel this.

We deal with this sense of unwantedness.

This, this, this belief of being unworthy, disbelief of being

unlovable. Some of us, I believe you are.

You're a people pleaser because you, you, you, you believe that

if you just say yes to everything, if you burn yourself

out, if you just yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, maybe that'll prove

that I'm lovable and they'll love me and they'll stay and

they'll care for me. But we're not dealing with the

root, 'cause you see, shame teaches us to manage our image.

But Jesus says, let me heal your heart.

You don't have to worry about that image.

You don't have to worry about that thing you're pretending to

be. As a matter of fact, I believe

that there's many of us today. James 5 says this, that if we

confess to one another and we pray with one another, there is

healing that happens. But Jesus can't heal you because

you keep pretending to be somebody you're not.

And Jesus wants to heal the real you today.

Here's the third way. The third way that we can see

shame manifest in our lives is this #3 shame makes us act in

fear. Shame makes us act in fear.

Verse 10 says this. I heard you in the garden, Adam

said, And I was afraid. There's the fear because I was

naked. So here's his action.

He hid. Fear cost him to hide.

You see, shame brings fear and when the fear starts to drive

and lead our decision making, making it, it makes us do things

that are not godly. It makes us, you know, act in

certain ways that are completely against God's will for our

lives. There's many a times where that

fear will tell you, hey, you can't trust God.

You can't trust people because if they only knew they're real

you who can accept you? Hide, be angry, bite back and we

start acting based out of that fear.

For many of us, God has called you to lead, but fear kicks in

from that shame and and you hear, don't lead.

Don't lead in your business, don't lead in your home.

Don't do that. You're not smart enough for

that. You're not qualified for that.

And that came from a place where you picked up some shame.

Shame will tell you to not hope or try because man, you've tried

and it never works. You're never going to change.

Why are you hoping for? Fear starts driving our decision

making when we don't allow Jesus to heal the shame to give us a

new name. Let me just say this, if you

missed Pastor Matt's message last week, he spoke all about

this. He spoke on fear and how fear is

used by the enemy to to keep us from doubting God and to keep us

from all the the amazing things that God has for us.

Here's the fourth thing that shame does, the way it manifests

in our lives when when we are dealing with shame, when our

shame is done, heel #4 shame makes us blame others.

He makes us blame others. See, God comes looking for them

on in the garden. Adam, where are you?

Eve, where are you? What's the first thing that Adam

does? Hold up, God, I know I'm a

little undone here and naked and shameful.

It wasn't me. You made her out of me.

It was her fault. Then God comes to even.

What does Eve do? You created the serpent.

It was the serpent. Here's here's what's.

Here's what's crazy about shame. Shame keeps us from looking at

ourselves. Shame keeps us from allowing God

to come in and heal. And he makes us blame others.

And I believe that right now, maybe sitting next to you is the

person who's been taking the brunt of your shame, but your

spouse is the one that gets blamed for some of the things

that you're unwilling to deal with.

Your kids are dealing with the shame that you're undealing.

You're not dealing with maybe your coworkers, your friends.

Because shame makes us blame others.

Shame makes us cover from others.

Shame makes us hide from God. Shame makes us act out of fear.

Pastor Lewis, what do we do? How do how do we, how do we

allow God to heal our shame? It is very simple.

But it's a step of courage that requires us to have some faith

to believe this. But here's what we need to do.

We need to take our eyes of that mistake.

We need to take our eyes of what you've done, of the mess up that

you've made, of the sin that you've committed.

We got to take our eyes of the sin that was committed to us.

In other words, we got to take our eyes of the shame and we

have to put our eyes on Jesus. We got to come to Jesus.

Hebrews 12/2 says this, looking unto Jesus, the author and the

finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him,

he endured the cross, despising the shame, and he sits now at

the right hand of the throne of God.

You see, Jesus already on the cross of Calvary paid for our

sin, but he also took on our shame.

You see, the cross was a shameful act, the the cross.

The cross meant that you would be stripped and mocked and

exposed and rejected publicly. And Jesus said, I'll do that for

my son and for my daughter. See, Shane came into the garden

with Adam and Eve, but Shane was healed and Shane was defeated at

the cross with Jesus. I'm so grateful for that.

I know I've experienced that many a times because Jesus, when

he heals you, when he gives you a new name, that shame no longer

defines you. And there's no greater way to

walk in life to fulfill the call as parents, to fulfill the call

as students, as as employees, our bosses, as as people in this

world. As a matter of fact, the most

important call we have as Christians is this.

There's no greater joy that to live in that freedom to tell

others about Jesus. We are disciples of Christ and

we are. If we're not filled with that

shame, we're going to be able to declare where our shame was

healed and help others. And so today, if we allow him, I

believe Jesus wants to take those distorted identities,

takes those place of shame and, and he wants to bring new names.

He wants to heal what you've carried for many years.

Some of us have been carrying some of his labels for many,

many years, maybe 30-40, fifty years.

And today can be the day where Jesus heals you.

I believe some of us have walked around for many years believing

that you're broken, Pastor Lewis, I am broken and you don't

understand. I, I endured abuse in my life.

You don't understand what I've had to deal with as a child.

You don't understand what I've had to deal as an employee.

There's been betrayal in my life and abandonment in my life and

failure in my life. There's been things that have

been spoken over me tell me that I am broken by my friends today.

I want to encourage you, if you have the faith to come to the

cross, and if you have the faith to say Jesus, I give you my

shame, then he says this. You are a new creation.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation.

The old is gone and the newest here.

You no longer have to carry that identity.

I believe some of us have been walking around feeling like

we're unwanted, believing that we're unwanted.

You don't understand the divorces.

You don't understand Pastor Lewis.

I have gone from shelter to shelter.

I've never experienced a parent in my life.

I am actually unwanted. But today, if you have the

courage to come to Jesus, and if you say Jesus, take my shame, I

will pick up a new name. He'll say to you, no, no, no,

no, no, no. You are not unwanted.

You are welcome because Ephesians says that comes

consequently. You're no longer a stranger.

You're no longer somebody that God doesn't know, but you are a

fellow citizen. You are welcome into the

household that he's created. You are not unwanted.

Your identity is of a son and a daughter.

That's welcome to Pastor Lewis. You don't understand.

I'm so dirty. The things I've done in my life,

how I've cheated, how I've, I've, I've manipulated.

You don't understand the drugs I've taken, you don't understand

the the alcohol abuse that I've had all my life.

I am so dirty. I'm too far gone.

There is no way God can clean me up, but today you come to the

cross and you say, Jesus, I give you this label.

I'm telling you today Jesus is going to remind you that he

washes you clean, that you are pure.

In John 19 He says if you confess your sin, he is faithful

and just to forgive you and forgive you of your sins and

purify you. You're no longer dirty.

You are washed clean. The Bible says that as far as E

is from the West, he won't remember your sin.

The Bible says that that he will wash you as white as snow, and

that dirt that you feel, that shame that you feel, if you

bring it to the cross, He will heal it.

Some of us feel completely unlovable.

You walk around every day feeling this way and trying to

prove to everybody that you are worth loving.

And it's exhausting. And you go home and you cry

yourself to sleep. Some of you have been rejected

so much in your life. You are walking around believing

this every day. But if you bring this to Jesus,

if you let Him have that label, he'll say this about you.

You are beloved of mine. He says that I, I actually will,

I will give you a new name, sees what great love the Father has

lavished on us, that we are called sons and daughter,

children of God. So that pain that you feel can

be healed at the cross today if you allow Jesus to give you a

new name. That sounds great.

I'm just just unworthy. Some of us, I believe When I was

writing this, I felt like there's many of us under the

sound of my voice, where you feel like you deserve

punishment. I don't deserve anything.

The pain I've caused and the pain that has been caused to me

tells me that I am not worth anything.

I deserve some punishment, if any.

If maybe I'm punished enough, then I'll feel worthy.

Have good news for you today. If you bring this to Jesus and

you lay it at the cross. He says you're a son, you're a

daughter. For God so loved the world that

he gave his one and only son. You are worth the Son of God.

He loved you so much. He said whosoever believes in

him will not perish, but will have eternal life.

It is in the, it is at the cross.

It is at the work of Christ. It is that healing that he

brings to our lives. And today I just want to

encourage us with this. Shane may have given you a label

and an identity, but today Jesus wants to give you a new name, a

new identity. If you would just allow him

today to do so. If you come to him, if you come

to the cross and allow him to do that, I believe he will.

Here's what I want to do with the few moments that we have

left. I want to pray over us.

If you're here today and you are tired of living with the labels

of shame, that distorted identity that shame has brought

to your life, and you're ready to come to Jesus, you're ready

to receive a true and new identity as I invite you to

close your eyes and bow your head in a moment, I, I want you.

That's you today. Here's what I want you to do.

They're in your seat. I want you to just put your

hands like this. And here's what this means,

Jesus, here's my shame. Jesus, here's my unworthiness.

Here's my belief that I'm dumb. Here's you're going to lay it at

him and he's going to pick it up and you're going to leave your

hands out and Jesus is going to give you a brand new name.

I believe that. Hearted So with every eye closed

and every head bowed, if that's you today, this is a holy

moment. This is a moment between you and

God. The Spirit of the Lord is in

every one of our rooms and everybody that's watching.

If that's you today, if you're tired, I love living with that

shame. I just want you to strange your

arms like I showed you a minute ago.

Here's what I want you to do. I want to lead you through a

prayer, but I want you right now for the next few seconds, I want

you to tell Jesus what that shame is.

I want you to tell Jesus, here's here's my shame, Lord.

Here's my my belief that I'm unlovable.

Come on, every location right now, give it to Jesus.

Lord, I believe I'm dumb all my life.

Come on, give it to Jesus. Father, I feel so dirty.

I've been, I've been carrying this label of being dirty all my

life, feeling like I don't deserve anything better.

But but the worst, give it to Jesus right now.

Come on every location, bring it to Jesus.

Bring it to Jesus. I'm broken, I'm damaged.

God can't use me too far gone, whatever that is right now.

Come on, just give it to Jesus. that you died on the cross for

me and that you took my shame on the cross.

I give you my shame today and I receive a new identity.

I receive a new name. And so Father, right now I pray

you speak to your children. You are a new creation in Christ

Jesus. Some of you, you need to know

that you are pure because of the work of Christ.

Father, I pray right now speak to your children.

You are called in your anointing.

You are the head and not the tail.

You are loved. You are cared for.

If a good father gives good things to his children, how much

more our Heavenly Father will care for his children.

So God, I pray right now for those that have felt unworthy

that you would cover them right now.

Those who have been feeling for a long time like they, they

don't belong. God, I pray right now that they

would, They would feel your arms around them, they would feel

your love, they would feel your care.

Father, they would see you on the cross, receiving all that

was for them, that you bore for them.

God I pray, speak, speak life. Lord, speak those identities.

God, I pray right now in Jesus name, new beginnings.

God, I pray for dreams right now in Jesus name.

God, I pray for healing. There are many of us right now

that the Lord is reminding you of when that moment took place.

The moment where you pick that shame, you remember the words

that were spoken, you remember the act that happened.

I pray healing in Jesus name, God, heal that wound, Father.

I pray heal that wound. Cover that wound with your oil,

with your anointed God, healing in Jesus name for you.

That that goes, that doesn't longer identify you.

That's no longer what you believe about yourself.

Jesus is bringing healing. Thank you, Father.

Right now move in every room. Receive that name, beloved,

called anointed. Receive that name.

You are you are a son and a daughter of God.

Stay in this atmosphere of worship.

Every head bow, every eye close. If you are here today and you

right now, you're experiencing Jesus.

This is who he is. This is what he does.

He loves you, He cares for you. You are not too far gone.

Maybe you are here today and you have never trusted your life to

Jesus. You've never prayed the prayer

of salvation. I want to encourage you today.

I want to invite you today. If that's you, I want to give

you an opportunity to, to change the label in your life from

Sinner, from from being apart from God to being a son and a

daughter. In the way the Bible tells us

that that happens is by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus

on the cross, by confessing with our mouth and believing with our

heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, that he died and he rose again

and because of that we are saved today.

If that's you, you, you recognize you've, you've walked

away from God, you, you, you've sinned against God, you've gone

against his will and you want to come home and become a part of

the family of God. I want to give you that

opportunity with every head bowed and every eye close.

If that's you, you've never prayed the prayer of salvation.

I want to, I want to lead you in that.

And I just want to know who I'm praying for.

So with every head bowed, every eye close, if that's you at the

count of three, would you just raise your hand?

123 Pastor Lewis, that's me. I would love to pray the prayer

of salvation. I would love to, to pray that I

see your hands, a couple of hands.

I believe there's some hands going up in every room.

If that's you today, here's what I want you to do.

Pray this. Jesus, I thank you for dying on

the cross for me. I come to you broken.

I come to you sinful. I confess that I am a Sinner.

But today I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that

you are Lord, that you died, but you were risen from the dead to

pay for the penalty of my sin. I receive the grace.

I receive the gift of salvation. And today, Jesus, I give you my

life. I come to you as I am and I

thank you that because of your grace, because of your love for

me, you will change me to who you want me to become.

I give you my life today in Jesus name, Amen.

And when we're praying, we're going to close this moment.

So grateful for many hands that that were raised in our pastors,

our location pastors are going to come up and they're going to

give us some instruction. But I just want to pray for all

of us as the church, as we close this moment, believing in faith,

sealing the work that got us done in every one of our

locations. Heavenly Father, we thank you.

I thank you Lord, for the many of us that are going to walk out

of this place today with a new identity in you.

God, I thank you. That shame is off of us.

You said of Jesus shame off you Father, because you took on the

shame that was due to us today. We get to walk out in freedom

today. We get to walk out in faith to

get, We get to walk out with joy, Father, and we thank you

for that. We praise you for that.

Thank you Lord for the good work that you are doing and that you

have done. Today we seal it in Jesus name.

That what the what the God of heaven did this morning and

today the enemy will not be able to steal it in Jesus mighty

name. If you believe that, come on

church, can we give Jesus some praise for that?
