  1. Crossing family. I am so glad that you guys are

  2. here today. You pumped to be a church that

  3. away. I love you, too.

  4. I want to welcome all of our different locations.

  5. Those of you watching online and inside, God bless you.

  6. We have an incredible weekend of ministry ahead of us and then

  7. this upcoming weekend Super Bowl weekend, the third highest

  8. attended weekend at our church, every single year is upon us.

  9. I don't want to have to do this, but I think it's important that

  10. I do. Because I think sometimes you

  11. guys doubt Out, my pastoral powers.

  12. A couple weeks ago, I said this we are going to we were going to

  13. try and bring in a Kansas City, Chiefs player that's on the

  14. roster presently but they'll be playing in the Super Bowl this

  15. year. If you know, you know, I'll be

  16. reading Palms after the service for 25 bucks.

  17. If you guys want to know what the lottery numbers are to let

  18. me know, it is going to be an incredible weekend to bring your

  19. friends and family were bringing in Steve Weatherford.

  20. A former NFL player, big Fitness guy guy, you fell in love with

  21. Jesus, and is telling people all across the country about them,

  22. it will be a great weekend for you to bring friends, family and

  23. neighbors. We are also going to be

  24. participating in The Frigid 5K, our first-ever 5K, my second

  25. ever 5K. All proof.

  26. Okay, listen, here's why we're doing it.

  27. Not because we're workout freaks.

  28. Although I am not because we want to get out in the cold

  29. because we already live in a bad place.

  30. The reason we're doing it is because we are raising money to

  31. rescue and rehabilitate those who are in sex trafficking and

  32. we've got two great ministry partners that we're going to be

  33. directing all of the funds toward.

  34. And there is a spot for every single one of you to

  35. participate, you can run it. You don't care.

  36. If you buy kit, you can roll it. You can I don't care you.

  37. Can crawl it or you can just be there and serve people while

  38. they do it. But there is a spot for

  39. everybody and I want us to come together, make a memory together

  40. and ultimately make a difference together.

  41. I also want to tell you this if you are here for the first time,

  42. or maybe the first time in a long time, at any point in time

  43. during this message, you can click on the QR code.

  44. In front of you, you can get connected to our church.

  45. You can sign up for the 5K. You can get more information

  46. about how to take your next steps.

  47. What I want to do before I jump in and message, I want to Spend

  48. just a little bit of time in prayer for the ministry that is

  49. ahead of us. Would you guys do that?

  50. Got only, you know, what could happen in a person's life?

  51. Next weekend. God, you're the only one who

  52. knows the power of an invite, the power of a little bit of

  53. boldness, the power of a little bit of Courage, on our part got

  54. that, you could take that small seed of faith and you could

  55. absolutely change a family tree. Got to pray that you would help

  56. us as a church. Be ready to love and welcome and

  57. care and encourage God, I pray that we would never lose sight

  58. of the fact that you're Sacrifice forever changed us.

  59. But it's not just for us, it's for every person we will ever

  60. meet your name. I pray.

  61. Amen. Well, today marks the end of

  62. this sermon series, there has to be a place and I've been beating

  63. you up on this spiritual spectrum that our church exists

  64. for. Absolutely everybody on this

  65. spiritual Spectrum, people who absolutely absolutely hate God,

  66. and people who think they look like him.

  67. It is for everybody, which means that this is A church for you.

  68. And our job is to help people, no matter where they're at, move

  69. from left to right. And we started off talking about

  70. there has to be a place that is committed to reaching the lost

  71. and making disciples. And then we said, there has to

  72. be a place that believes that Jesus still changes.

  73. People, don't ever let Satan get you into this.

  74. Stinking thinking that God is still not at work.

  75. Still changing lives, still reorienting people's eternity.

  76. And then we said, there has to be a place that is committed to

  77. using the gifts that God has given them to make a difference

  78. in people's lives and joining him in his glorious Mission.

  79. And then we said, there has to be a place that's committed to

  80. biblical Community because you were not meant to live alone.

  81. God's plan was for you to be in community with others.

  82. So you can be a refuge for them and they can be a refuge for

  83. you. And then last week, we talked

  84. about there has to be a place that joyously gives to a advance

  85. the mission. And the whole reason we're doing

  86. this is because we want to make this place right here, all ten

  87. thousand seven hundred, ninety five square miles.

  88. This, I don't even know what this looks like.

  89. It'll be a great tattoo for somebody.

  90. This place right here, the hardest place on planet Earth to

  91. get to Hell from and it is going to require absolutely every

  92. single one of us to make it happen.

  93. Today I titled my message. Let's dig.

  94. Turn to your neighbor. Say let's dig.

  95. I don't like digging right? I get it back in October of

  96. 2000. Yeah, back in October.

  97. I was doing some Bible reading and I ended up going down a

  98. really weird Rabbit Hole. However, at the end of that

  99. rabbit hole, I found something that was incredibly spiritually

  100. moving for me. It was so moving.

  101. I took our elders through it at our elders, Retreat.

  102. I took our staff through it, we had a special gathering at the

  103. beginning of the year and I took that group of people through it

  104. and today I'm incredibly excited to share it with you.

  105. The Rabbit Trail and went down is where all the times in the

  106. Bible where it talks about digging.

  107. And there's a couple of like, highlight reels.

  108. It doesn't show up that all that often.

  109. But there's a couple highlights 01.

  110. Is Matthew chapter 25 where people dig out of fear.

    Matthew 25 chapter mention

  111. Again, it will be like a man going on a journey who called

  112. his servants and entrusted, his wealth to them, to one, he gave

  113. five bags of gold to another two bags, into another one bag each.

  114. According to his ability, then he went on his journey.

  115. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and

  116. put his money to work and gained five bags, more.

  117. So also the The one with two bags of gold, gained two more,

  118. but the man who had received one bag went off.

  119. Dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.

  120. Instead of leveraging what he had been given for a greater

  121. purpose. He hit it.

  122. He dug a hole to bury it and protect it and preserve it.

  123. He wanted to take the gift that had been given to him and give

  124. it back to his master in perfect mint condition.

  125. But that is not at all how God wants you to use the gift.

  126. You have he wants us to be the kind of people that have dirty

  127. knees and calloused hands that are gifts, have some Nicks in

  128. them because we've used them for his glory, god would rather you

  129. try something and fail on his behalf, then have a perfect

  130. track record of never trying anything and never failing at

  131. all. Another reason people dig in

  132. scripture is they dig for stability.

  133. Look at this one, Luke chapter 6, why do you call this?

    Luke 6 chapter mention

  134. Is Jesus talking, why do you call me Lord Lord, and do not do

  135. what I say you guys know those kind of people people who say,

  136. they believe in Jesus, but don't act anything like him.

  137. Those people look a lot like us, right?

  138. As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them

  139. into practice I will show you what they are, like.

  140. They're like a man building a house who dug down deep and laid

  141. the foundation on Rock. When a flood came the torrent,

  142. struck that house but could not shake it because it was well

  143. built. But the one who hears my words

  144. they were at church, they were sitting right next to you.

  145. Hands were up during worship. And does not put them into

  146. practice, is like a man who built a house on the ground.

  147. Without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck

  148. that house it collapsed and its destruction was completed.

  149. Come here. There are people out there who

  150. will tell you that. Once you find a relationship

  151. with Jesus Christ, you will have no storms.

  152. Those people are idiots. Now, listen, you avoid some

  153. storms as a Christian, no doubt about it.

  154. You avoid some, but you do not avoid them.

  155. All the difference is for the believer, who digs down deep the

  156. storms can come, the wind can blow, the rain, can fall the

  157. flood. Waters can rise and when the

  158. storm is over, because no storm last forever, when the storm is

  159. over, Christian is still standing in 2023.

  160. You will have a storm hit you and those who dig down deep and

  161. put the words of God into practice in their life, they

  162. will have a firm foundation. And after the storms over, they

  163. will still be standing when you dig down deep in prayer.

  164. When you dig down deep in your reading, in your service into

  165. your community, you are laying a foundation not just for you.

  166. But for all who will find Refuge with you, another, one of the

  167. reasons why people dig in scripture is Mark chapter 2,

    Mark 2 chapter mention

  168. they dig for people who don't know, Jesus, yet.

  169. Look what happens. A few days later.

  170. When Jesus, again entered Capernaum, the people heard that

  171. he had come home, they gathered in such large numbers that there

  172. was no room left, not even outside the door and he preached

  173. the word to them. Some men bring to him a

  174. paralyzed man carried by four of them, since they could not get

  175. him the paralyzed man to Jesus because of the crowd, they made

  176. an opening in the roof above Jesus, by digging through it and

  177. then lowered the mat, the man was lying on when Jesus saw

  178. their faith. This is really interesting.

  179. He said to the paralyzed, man. Son, your sins are forgiven.

  180. I'm praying that we would be the kind of church.

  181. That would dig a hole in a roof to get people to Jesus that we

  182. would do whatever it takes to help lost people, find their way

  183. home to their heavenly father. That we would be the kind of

  184. church that would invite people. Pray for people be kind to

  185. people say, we pick him up and bring him.

  186. Say we take him out too. I eat afterwards and let them

  187. ask questions invite them into our lives and ultimately invite

  188. them in to a relationship with Jesus.

  189. That would be the kind of people that would dig by serving to

  190. make sure that their needs are met.

  191. The kind of church that would dig and be ready when they show

  192. up to receive them. The kind of people that dig by

  193. being the leader of a Biblical Community to Journey with them

  194. to love them and delete them closer to Jesus.

  195. There's got to be a church. That's willing to dig.

  196. Then there's the story of Elijah is another interesting one.

  197. This is when he's on Mount Carmel, and he's against 450

  198. prophets of Baal. There'd been a drought.

  199. It hadn't rained for three years which resulted in a severe

  200. famine. And the people of God were no

  201. longer calling. On God, they were worshipping a

  202. false god. and so, Elijah issued a challenge, he said you guys

  203. call on your God and I'm going to call on mine and whichever

  204. God sends down fire and sets the sacrifice that we've made a

  205. flame. He will be the real God.

  206. So the false prophets went and they got a bull and they made an

  207. altar and they they set it on a pile of wood and they began

  208. praying. They started praying in the

  209. morning and they prayed all the way till noon.

  210. And not a word from God. Then went from noon until midday

  211. from midday till evening. And not once did the god that

  212. they were crying on issue, a word or answer by fire.

  213. Then it was Elijah Stern. He told them to build an altar

  214. with 12 Stones. Instead of Bowl upon it, then he

  215. dug a trench all the way around the Altar and he ordered them to

  216. take four large jars, fill them with water, that hasn't rained.

  217. In three years. They're in the middle of a

  218. family and he says, fill four large jars of water and pour it.

  219. On the altar. So they did.

  220. And then he said, Do it again. And they did and then he said,

  221. do it a third time. And they didn't.

  222. And the water rain down the bowl down, the wood down the stones,

  223. and it filled the trench that he had dug in the dirt.

  224. First Kings chapter 18. At the time of the sacrifice,

    1 Kings 18 chapter mention

  225. the Prophet Elijah step forward and prayed Lord, the god of

  226. Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are

  227. God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these

  228. things at your command answer me, Lord, answer me.

  229. So these people will know that you Lord, Our God, and that you

  230. are turning their hearts back again.

  231. Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice.

  232. The would the stones and the soil, and also licked up the

  233. water in the trench. Here we see Elijah dig for Faith

  234. long after this moment, not long after it, God opened up the

  235. heavens and the rain started to fall from the sky.

  236. Elijah dug a hole in the ground knowing that it nothing is

  237. impossible with God. That not only could God answer

  238. by fire but he could restore all the water that was poured out

  239. and then some Elijah Doug for Faith, he believed that God

  240. still moved, still heard prayers.

  241. And that at a moment's notice, God could turn any situation

  242. around. However, the one that got me,

  243. I've even got to my sermon. The one that got me was an

  244. obscure one in Genesis chapter 33.

    Genesis 33 chapter mention

  245. We find these words after Jacob came from paddan-aram.

  246. He arrives safely at the city of shechem in Canaan and Camp

  247. within sight of the city for a hundred pieces of silver.

  248. He bought from the sons of hamor, the father of shechem,

  249. the plot of ground where he pitched his tent.

  250. There, he set up an altar and called it LL.

  251. Oh hey Israel, the mighty one, Of Israel.

  252. You like Clayton. That's the first verse that

  253. really doesn't talk about digging.

  254. Well, you need to fast forward to John chapter 4.

    John 4 chapter mention

  255. Look what happens here. In John chapter 4, this is

    John 4 chapter mention

  256. talking about Jesus. Now he had to go through

  257. Samaria. So we came to a town in Samaria

  258. called sychar near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his

  259. son, Joseph Jacob's. Well, was there and Jesus tired

  260. as he was from the journey sat down by the well, it was about

  261. noon when a Samaritan woman came to draw water.

  262. Jesus said to her, will you give me a drink?

  263. His disciples had gone into town to buy food?

  264. Dude, the Samaritan woman said to him, you are a Jew and I am a

  265. Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink

  266. for Jews? Which is Jesus do not associate

  267. with Samaritans? Jesus answered her.

  268. If you knew the gift of God and who it is, that asks you for a

  269. drink, you would not have asked him and he would not have given

  270. you and he would have given you living water.

  271. Sir, the woman said, you have nothing to draw.

  272. Draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living

  273. water? Are you greater than our father?

  274. Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself.

  275. As did, all of his sons and livestock, Jesus answered

  276. everyone, who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but

  277. whoever drinks the water that I give them will never thirst.

  278. Indeed, the water, I give them will become in them a spring of

  279. water, welling up to eternal life and this was The piece that

  280. got me all twisted up. Jacob bought a piece of land.

  281. And he dug a well. And for 1800 years.

  282. People drink from it. He drank from it, his livestock

  283. drink from it. And for eighteen centuries,

  284. anybody who was thirsty, could go to the well that he dug and

  285. get something to drink. Fathers and Sons would fight the

  286. heat of the day at Jacob's. Well, Mothers and daughters

  287. friends and neighbors would gather together and get the

  288. sustenance they needed to get through each day out of well

  289. that was Doug. Eighteen hundred years before.

  290. It was a deep. Well, she was right.

  291. It was 40 meters. Deep 120 feet into the ground.

  292. Jacob dug a well and 1,800 years later.

  293. Jesus sits down at the very well that he dug and turns a woman's

  294. life around. So I went and got myself up.

  295. A garden Spade. And I wrote something on it.

  296. But I want to be the kind of person that digs today.

  297. So other people can drink tomorrow.

  298. I want to be the kind of church. I want to be the kind of person.

  299. That's willing to do the hard work, the Dirty Work, the

  300. digging down deep work so that for Generations, other people

  301. can find the Living Water that only God can give that every

  302. time I invite somebody, I'm turning a little bit of dirt.

  303. Every time that I serve at the church, I move a little bit of

  304. dirt, every time I'm in community and I make an

  305. investment in somebody in their life and in the direction, and

  306. the spiritual formation of who they are, and who are they?

  307. They're becoming Even a little bit of dirt, I'm digging today

  308. because you never know who's going to need a drink tomorrow.

  309. That every time I give I'm putting my shovel in the ground.

  310. Listen. I-i've got the living water in

  311. my heart but there's just too many people that don't that

  312. every time I read my Bible and I put a little bit of it into

  313. practice. I'm giving myself a little bit

  314. of water that I can disperse to my friends and my family members

  315. that when someone goes through a hard time in their life in

  316. there, navigating challenging circumstances in there and their

  317. soul is parched. That I would be in a position

  318. that can give them just a little bit, a living water.

  319. But listen, if you start digging your going to look weird.

  320. I wonder how long it took him. How long would it take you?

  321. To dig a hole. 120 feet into the ground.

  322. Wonder how many times he was digging and he was wondering my

  323. ever going to hit water. but he just kept digging because he

  324. knew that one day somebody would need something to drink.

  325. I want us to be a church, every single one of us, who's okay?

  326. With looking a little weird, our calendars are going to look a

  327. little different. Our spending habits are going to

  328. be a little different. Are giving.

  329. Habits are going to be different.

  330. Our weekly activities are going to look different.

  331. Our priorities are going to be different.

  332. And people are gonna be like, why are you doing what you're

  333. doing? You're going to tell them

  334. because I'm digging. I'm digging today.

  335. So other people can drink tomorrow.

  336. If you want to know what this looks like, there's a video that

  337. perfectly captures it. I don't know.

  338. I am not playing around, quit crying that commercials a big

  339. Pharma commercial. All they're trying to do is give

  340. you some vitamins. I'm not playing around.

  341. Isn't that? Who you want to be deep down

  342. inside doing something that matters who is the picture?

  343. Who is the picture? Who's the person that would

  344. motivate you to dig down deep? There's going to be a lot of

  345. people. A lot of people who are going to

  346. spend their entire lives focused on themselves, but there has to

  347. be a church. There has to be a church that's

  348. willing to dig. There's me a lot of people who

  349. are going to spend all their money on themselves, but there

  350. has to be a place that's willing to dig.

  351. There has to be a place that's willing to dig down deep so

  352. other people can drink tomorrow. I'm asking you listen, I'm

  353. asking you not, not for me. I'm asking you, for you.

  354. To be a part of a church to be a part of making a place that digs

  355. down deep. So other people.

  356. Can drink tomorrow. I feel like the only way to

  357. finish this sermon series is the finish it the way we began it.

  358. Hello. I was an inmate in Vandalia

  359. Missouri. I was released on January, 21st

  360. 2022. I want to take a little bit of

  361. your time to tell you. Thank you.

  362. Thank you to the amazing people who came to Vandalia every

  363. Monday night to allow me to hear God's word and guidance.

  364. You all save my heart mind and soul and help me so very much by

  365. helping me to reach out to God for help.

  366. I was an extremely broken shattered person from The Life

  367. Choices, I had made and from the cards that were dealt to me, I

  368. still remember the first time I went to service in 2019, I like

  369. the service so much, but when I was only able to attend to

  370. Services because I was transferred, then I came back

  371. for the fourth time, but covid-19 on, so you all were not

  372. allowed in the camp on November. Of 2021, they allowed you back

  373. and when I was asked by another offender about the service, I

  374. was like, why not nothing better to do on a Monday night?

  375. The first service was, of course, amazing with the music,

  376. the sermon and the communion. I liked it enough.

  377. I was going to keep going because of the service on

  378. Mondays, because I was always told you don't give up on the

  379. Miracle because you never know when it will occur.

  380. I've had a very rollercoaster relationship with Jesus ever

  381. since my mother was murdered in 1999 when I was 17 years old at

  382. 41 years old. I made the decision to continue

  383. to attend. I had no idea exactly when it

  384. happened but the band played Battle Belongs and I knew

  385. something was happening because I got cold chills in my eyes

  386. filled up with tears, let me explain why that's important.

  387. I've not cried tears of any type since 1999, it was hard and when

  388. my mother passed away in 99, 20 years later in 2019, I was

  389. completely Frozen My heart and soul cease to exist when the one

  390. person in my life who had raised me and believed in me, and my

  391. grandmother passed away. Six days after I was released

  392. the first time for modok, then, in July of 2019, six months

  393. after my grandmother died, my best friend.

  394. Brittany passed away from an overdose.

  395. That was the final straw. I froze.

  396. Everything in me. So, I would never in my life,

  397. have to feel the pain of a truly broken heart.

  398. Obviously, I don't deal with my emotions.

  399. So what tricks does the devil give us to stop that broken

  400. heart. Well, he gave us crystal meth

  401. cocaine. Owen, and now Fentanyl.

  402. I fell for those tricks and when my heart broke back in 99, the

  403. devil's tricks actually worked for the physical pain because I

  404. was numb. So my choice every time I was

  405. hurting would be to turn to drugs over and over.

  406. I was definitely living a life of insanity this past year.

  407. When I was locked up, I decided I was done with drugs and I was

  408. finally ready to move. Remove all the negativity inside

  409. of my heart and soul. I Turn To The Crossing sermons

  410. on Monday nights as a stepping stone.

  411. At first, I thought nobody could possibly understand or relate to

  412. the extreme pain and hurt. That was frozen inside of me

  413. screaming to be released out, but I had Frozen it, then all of

  414. a sudden. I felt him.

  415. I felt God, run through my veins, my heart started to beat

  416. with Hope and Faith and then came the tears and I realized

  417. that I've never been alone that he was always with me.

  418. The Footprints Prayer, came that people talk about describe to

  419. me. He has carried me all these

  420. years because I couldn't walk on my own.

  421. Because I was so broken and shattered.

  422. Now, at 41 years old for the first time I picked up a Bible

  423. and I read it, I've always heard about the story of Jesus, birth

  424. and death, but to actually sit there and read Matthew Mark,

  425. Luke and John open my eyes and heart to see what God really did

  426. for me, for all of us. I even watch the History Channel

  427. show Easter weekend called The Bible and I cried, I cried real

  428. tears as I watched what he was put through so that my sins

  429. could be forgiven. Everything that happened since I

  430. got locked up in 21. I don't believe would have

  431. happened if I had not decided to go to your sermons in November

  432. as I stated before, they kick started, my intimate personal

  433. relationship with God. I now not only no, but believe

  434. 100% that nothing is bigger than God.

  435. And that I am never alone, he's always there.

  436. I just have to make the choice to listen to open up my heart

  437. and soul, and listen for his guidance and love to embrace me.

  438. So again, thank you. Hopefully with my openness and

  439. acceptance of Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

  440. I will never have to go back through the doors of Missouri,

  441. Department of Corrections. All I want in life is true,

  442. happiness, peace and serenity between the ears.

  443. And when I close my eyelids and I have faith that a little Cur,

  444. I definitely plan to continue watching your services online.

  445. I now live in st. Charles Missouri.

  446. So it's a long drive for me to go to Quincy but one day when I

  447. have a driver's license and illegal, Vehicle.

  448. I will be there at the Crossing and I'll be baptized declaring

  449. my surrender. Love faith, hope, and believe

  450. that Jesus Is My Savior and died.

  451. So, I could live with him in heaven, I can almost promise

  452. that if it had not been for the Crossing in Vandalia, I would

  453. have gone back to my old life of drugs misery hopelessness

  454. praying that, when my eyes would shut, they would never open up

  455. now, I smile, I'm happy. I love again.

  456. I laugh and everything is genuine and not fake, and it's

  457. all because they were brought into my life.

  458. And I pray that you receive this and it puts a smile on your face

  459. because you helped save a soul that was lost and dying in

  460. Ministry. All alone, everyone, I talked to

  461. you since I got out, say they love how happy and full of

  462. faith. Which would not have happened if

  463. you had not guide me back to Jesus.

  464. Well, there's a bunch of us that were kind of, like, we don't

  465. need to wait till you have a car, and you don't need to wait

  466. until you have a driver's. License will pick you up.

  467. Crossing family. This is Jennifer.

  468. Christ because you chose to dig yesterday.

  469. So in front of all these people, your church family all across

  470. this region, 10,000 miles wide. I want to ask you, I want you to

  471. repeat after me. I believe, I believe that Jesus

  472. is the Christ, the son of the Living God, and I want him as my

  473. Lord and Savior. It's because your confession of

  474. faith that I have the privilege to baptize you in the name of

  475. the father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  476. Listen to me Crossing family. There has to be a church.

  477. There has to be, there has to be a church that is willing to dig

  478. today. So other people can drink

  479. tomorrow and I say that churches here, I say that church is with

  480. us and I say it's now we're moving to a time of decision.

  481. There are. There are people in this room

  482. right now. You've never stepped into that

  483. relationship with Jesus before, there's people online right now,

  484. you've never said yes to him. You've never surrendered your

  485. life. If you're honest, you've been

  486. living life for yourself how you want to live it.

  487. And you have to understand something.

  488. At this church. There's probably people in your

  489. life and they've been digging hard.

  490. They've been digging hard. Maybe for a moment such as this.

  491. For you to hear that you were loved.

  492. That you're accepted. And that that because of what

  493. Jesus has done for for us, for what he's done for you that you

  494. can be called a child of God. For those of you you've never

  495. started that relationship with Jesus man that can change today.

  496. Maybe maybe Jennifer story will just encourage you a little bit

  497. that God is riding the very special story in your life.

  498. You may be like, no, no, no, you don't know my story, you don't

  499. know my history. Don't know what I'm going

  500. through right now. How can God love me?

  501. Listen. There are so many testimonies

  502. you just heard an incredible. There are testimonies down your

  503. rose right now. There are testimonies of people

  504. who are watching online, who just says listen.

  505. It's not about what you done. It's about who you trust in.

  506. And today, man, you can start walking in that relationship

  507. with him. You can say yes to him for the

  508. very first time in just a little bit in the worship is going to

  509. start and it is an opportunity for you mean.

  510. Here's the first step to come up to these steps, get down on your

  511. knees and just cry out to your You, I need you.

  512. I need you. I don't want to live life on my

  513. own terms anymore and maybe you have questions about what your

  514. next step is. Maybe your next step is getting

  515. those Waters of baptism tonight and there's going to be some one

  516. right by the baptistry that would love to help.

  517. Answer those questions in for those who have been digging for

  518. you, man, they're going to Rejoice.

  519. There's people in this Auditorium right now, people who

  520. are watching online. We've been digging for an

  521. opportunity for you to say yes to Jesus and that story can

  522. change tonight in an instant, but it starts with you, And I'm

  523. hoping that you will take that step for us who have

  524. relationship with Christ, for those of us who've walked into

  525. that relationship. It's time to dig deep.

  526. It's time to dig deeper than we've ever dug before it's time

  527. to dig deeper in our word to have that time during the week

  528. where we don't just get fed scriptures here at church.

  529. But we say man, I want to take God's word and I want to place

  530. it in my heart and I want the word of God to transform me.

  531. I want those words that are coming from the pages that come

  532. alive in my life, and I want to do something about you, dig

  533. deep, stick it in the ground and just start digging There's

  534. nothing you, man, you just like, you've been coming to this

  535. church for so long and those chairs are comfortable.

  536. I get it. They're comfortable for the for

  537. the most part. This this Auditorium is heated

  538. correctly, sometimes it's too hot, sometimes it's too cold, I

  539. get it, you're comfortable. But it's time for you to start

  540. digging a little bit deeper, it's time for you to use.

  541. The gifts God has equipped you with, to make sure people know,

  542. and can hear the same message that you have heard that has

  543. rescued, you who has saved you, and there's some of you been you

  544. used to A little bit deeper used to serve but I get it, it was a

  545. season. And right now, if you would walk

  546. into your garage, you just see your shovel just hanging in the

  547. garage. You remember the fruit that God

  548. was doing through you, you see evidence of it but for some

  549. reason you just put it up on the garage and just to hang there

  550. and maybe till later. Maybe tonight's the night where

  551. you say not anymore. I'm taking that shovel and I'm

  552. digging a little bit deeper. Maybe it's Community.

  553. You stepped away from a community or you've never

  554. stepped into that. Biblical Community, you've never

  555. stepped into a life group, a men's group, a women's group,

  556. and you're just like, man, I need that Community.

  557. I have five friends, I have family.

  558. But I need to dig deeper, I need to get in that Community.

  559. I need to dig deep, maybe tonight's the night where you

  560. just like, listen, I heard that but I walked out of the sermon

  561. and I didn't respond tonight's the night, you dig deep, it

  562. could be that in giving as well. When you give to this church,

  563. you're digging deep. You're investing in eternity',

  564. you are a part of Jennifer's story.

  565. You are part of this, the stories that are happening, all

  566. over this region, all over this world, we dig deeper.

  567. And the reason we dig today, we met Not see it.

  568. We may not see it right away but we dig today.

  569. So others can drink tomorrow. That's the mission of this

  570. church. We want people to understand

  571. that they can have an intimate personal relationship with

  572. Jesus. And so, what do we do?

  573. What's our response? We dig deep and we dig on behalf

  574. of the people that don't know him yet.

  575. And maybe in this moment, you have somebody that is on your

  576. minds. You've been digging, you've been

  577. trying to prepare the ground for the law.

  578. Lord to do what he what only he can do and they're just so much

  579. on your mind and so much on your heart right now that maybe in

  580. this moment as a Believer you come up and you start preying on

  581. behalf of them, you dig deep and the prayer side of things and

  582. you just maybe call their name out loud for the first time.

  583. And just say, man I'm praying Lord, that you would do

  584. something in their life. Use me then use the people

  585. around them to dig deep. We dig today.

  586. So others can drink tomorrow. I believe that this is the

  587. church, I believe you are the people.

  588. I believe this is the time, but we don't know that until we

  589. start picking up this shovel and start digging together.

  590. Would you guys staying with me? We're going to go in this time

  591. response and I'm praying that we move that we respond.

  592. And we trust what God has for us and the future.

  593. Heavenly father, I'm so thankful for this church.

  594. I'm so thankful for the this, this message.

  595. You have put on our pastor's heart.

  596. God that it not only goes on his heart, but it transcends.

  597. All of our hearts that this is not just our pastor's heart

  598. Jesus. This is your heart.

  599. He want more of us, you want to fully surrendered, heart to you,

  600. Jesus. And I pray right now that we as

  601. we leave this place God, so many people in this region are going

  602. to see holes all around it. They're gonna be like, what in

  603. the world is going on, it's because you're stirring in the

  604. mines, your Stern in the hearts of these people right here who

  605. are going to go out and they're going to dig deep God I pray

  606. that we are not a church that just stands still where a church

  607. that responds. And we humbly blee come before

  608. you right now and ask for you to go before us and to give us

  609. directions on where to dig. Got.

  610. Let us do that right now. In Jesus name I pray, amen. blee

  611. come before you right now and ask for you to go before us and

  612. to give us directions on where to dig.

  613. Got. Let us do that right now.

  614. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
