  57. just appreciate the this day. Oh my, we have been done and

  58. wonderful services today and the spear of the Lord. A man just has moved

  59. among us. You thank God for one as he's a the young people up

  60. here, and he's jumped in, especially the lady folks who were here.

  61. But they were right up here. I could really see him. He was

  62. worshiping the Lord. I thought about it when David danced before the Lord and

  63. all of his mind, yeah, everything that was with him. He wasn't

  64. dancing before the Lord. But and you know his wife, she despised it.

  65. Yeah, like she thought it was shameful. Look at you, the

  66. king out there acting like that. You embarrassed me, That's what she was

  67. saying. Amen. I'll tell you old David, he didn't heat doubled down

  68. on the h today. Well, I wasn't feeling what I do I was

  69. doing and I just do it all heart and I'll be more viold the next

  70. time. Grat he meant, I'll give it an all. I guy for

  71. the Lord, he mean, appreciate him today. Thank you for your hospitality

  72. and the place you have provided for us. It's just very nice, very

  73. comfortable, and uh, I appreciate it and enjoyed the opportunion statement of the

  74. grand sister Debbie and give us time to visit. And so it's just really

  75. been nice. Brook That's a nice place and thank you for providing that.

  76. And the food today was exceptional, really good. As you know. The

  77. DSHA enjoyed the most. I don't want to call it, but it's good.

  78. I saved my last bikey I just hate everything else it's around, and

  79. saved them to the little bit of that I wanted to get to be my

  80. last bike and had some white stuff in him. Maybe I don't know what

  81. it was. It was close to the front of the life. It was

  82. delicious and I just enjoyed the meal and I appreciate you, appreciate your hospitality

  83. and accommodations and I pray the Lord will bless you even in your endeavors to

  84. witness for Jesus in this dark world we live in. You thank God for

  85. the lights in our communities. And I often pray for the howl that God

  86. will provide a good hole in his church for every community. And we know

  87. that that's not the case. Unfortunately, we know that's not the case.

  88. But often I have prayed that Lord, we bout somebody to win souls in

  89. that community, Amen, and win them. And I just appreciate what you're

  90. doing. Pray God will bless it and just multiplife and you than you for

  91. His glory. That's what it's about. We're trying to win so old for

  92. the kingdom and we just want to lift up the name of Jesus. If

  93. you'd like to read along with us tonight, I'll be reading in First Chronicles,

  94. chapter four, First Chronicles, chapter four, Just you know the service

  95. Dville. I almost swamped upon you, Amen, like I felt a little

  96. nudge. But I think it's just meanting, just kind of feeding off what

  97. I was a feeding in them and here and saying like the Lord settled me

  98. down and hadn't left me right work. I gonna start tonight. So first

  99. Chronicles, chapter four. I'm sure some of your preachers know what I'm talking

  100. about. I'm gonna say that chapter four and verse nine, thank you for

  101. standing for the reading of the Word of God. The two verses here tonight

  102. sending Javes was more honorable than his brethren. And his mother called his name

  103. Jabez, saying because I bear him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the

  104. God of Israel, saved, Oh, that thou wouldst bless me indeed and

  105. enlarge my coach, and that thine hand might be with me, that thou

  106. wouldst keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me just a short

  107. prayer. I like that last phrase. And God granted him that which he

  108. requested. He may be seated. God granted him that which he requested.

  109. This is interest in two verses in the Bible, this young man and by

  110. the name of Jabez. We don't read more about him in other places.

  111. He's just mentioned here in the genealogy. Sometimes we get bored to get reading

  112. the genealogy as different ones are being mentioned here. This one begat that one,

  113. and this one begat that one, and so on and so forth.

  114. Of course, we do game a lot of extra information from those scriptures at

  115. times to tie things together that helpts us. So there's much to glean from

  116. it. But this is one of those gleanings. As we read about this

  117. man named Jabez, he prayed a prayer. There's been a book written.

  118. You may have the book Jabez his prayer written. I forgot the author's name,

  119. but written in two thousand. I think it was about Jabez his prayer.

  120. Never read the book. I preached for this one time and somebody said,

  121. well, it sounds like you read that. Look, I said,

  122. well I didn't. I said, he said the scripture ship If he was

  123. gleaning from the scripture, so am I. So it's in the word of

  124. God. But it's a great lesson here. As we read and look at

  125. these two verses concerning this man named Jabez and his name Jabez, the Bible

  126. tells us that it means sorrow, or said. She named him this because

  127. she bore him with sorrow. His word literally means he paineth. The words

  128. pained man. She bore him at sorrow. We can only guess. We

  129. can only wonder why she would make such a declaration. Was it because of

  130. the extensive pain she endured during the childbirth in process, or was her life

  131. marked and scarred by many sufferings and much pain in her life, and to

  132. had a child in this time of hardship would not be something that she maybe

  133. didn't even desire, wasn't even wanting it, said, you know, old

  134. God, now with child again. Now I'm gonna bear this child again.

  135. So she named his name Jabez because it meant much sorrow he painted me.

  136. It was great pain she endured in his life. Our names mark us many

  137. times, especially in old of the times of the Bible. We know that

  138. many times their name was significant. And I you know, maybe maybe you

  139. consider that when you named your children, maybe you didn't. Some do and

  140. some don't. And uh, it was certainly significant in the Bible. It

  141. marked them, It identified them not only by that name per se, but

  142. by the character and the meaning of that name. So just to imagine growing

  143. up with the name Jabnz and understanding that that name meant bored in sorrow,

  144. no joy, no celebration. Nobody's happy about me coming along. Nobody said,

  145. behold a son, nobody rejoiced at my coming, but instead they named

  146. me ja Benz said, I was warned in sorrow. So Jabez was a

  147. person, no doubt, I had some obstacles to overcome. Brother, I

  148. will mention that in the service tonight, if you just overcome those obstacles,

  149. you can receive what you needed from the Lord. And I can imagine Jabez

  150. didn't have things going so well for him in a natural sense in life,

  151. and probably based a lot of obstacles and a lot of negative influences that may

  152. have caused to him to feel like he never amount to nothing. They have

  153. caused him to feel like he could never be anybody important, could never do

  154. nothing great cause of his name. Jabez. Yeah, I'll just take this

  155. moment here. I'm sure you're taught better than this. Occasionally I'm around people

  156. and I see them call their children names, demanding them, questioning they're intelligence,

  157. putting them down, running them down, calling them little devils. I

  158. hope you wouldn't do that I and all kinds of things like that. Listen,

  159. don't do that. Don't mark your children that, don't put those thoughts

  160. in their minds, you know. I mean, just give my experience here.

  161. I grew up in a Christian home, right home. My parents,

  162. Uh, they never did those things, never called me the names. Didn't

  163. never call me stupid, dumb. None that didn't do that. They didn't

  164. my parents. Of course, my dad wasn't saved him our youth, and

  165. but he wouldn't even use slang words around my dad, not even saved,

  166. wouldn't do that. And my mother certainly didn't do those things. And and

  167. uh, thank god my dad got saved in my teenage years. But anyway,

  168. Uh, you know, I grew up though in school I was rambunctious.

  169. Both shallow but me. But I'm hear laid back now, but I

  170. wasn't then. I rambunctious. I got into lot of trouble. I was

  171. class clown and I was a guy picking the fights. And I mean I

  172. had a hot tempered. If you want to get get in it, wi

  173. me just come on, I was ready for you. That's kind of person

  174. was growing up schooling. It didn't take long. You develop a reputation and

  175. you developed being a troubled and the school bus drivers hate to see you get

  176. on the school bus, the teachers hate to see you come into classroom.

  177. And uh you know that they was That's just the way it was. And

  178. as a as a young boy growing up to elementary school had good grades.

  179. I always made good grades. It was just my behavior and my dad get

  180. wind of it. He'd tear me up, but I kept it hid most

  181. as much as I could, and so I developed this reputation. I don't

  182. remember very specifically. When I went from a fifth to sixth grade, we

  183. changed principles all the way from first through five. I'd had the same principle

  184. and he left the school. We got a new principle. His name was

  185. mister Wheeler. The new principle first to ask school and got in trouble and

  186. shipped into the office and mister Wheeler asked me what my name was. I

  187. told him Lend. He said Lynn Who. I said, Lyn ball In.

  188. He said, I'd haven't heard about you, young man. I didn't

  189. like it made about hay Man. I want to ask him who told you?

  190. I want to name and a teacher I thought I told me told him

  191. he wouldn't hill me. He said, it doesn't matter who told me.

  192. He said, I'm just gonna let you know I ain't gonna put up at

  193. that mess and uh, you know, just being a little boy, just

  194. not doing like a RD dude. I thought, we'll see, you know,

  195. and I got in trouble through full time times in just a week or

  196. two there, and he said to the office, got patterms. He's got

  197. a trouble three or four times. And one day I got in trouble and

  198. went to the office and mister Wheeler he done a little a switch up.

  199. Hold me a little sob child's psychology. I come in his office one day

  200. and he is act like he's happy to see me and say, Glynn,

  201. well you do it up here. I told him what I got into,

  202. and he said, odd side, He said, I don't tell you something,

  203. Lynn, He said him, teachers told me you was a bad boy,

  204. he said, but I don't figured it out. You ain't such a

  205. bad kid after all. You know what I did. Then I cleaned my

  206. act up. I didn't want to go back to the office and disappoint mister

  207. Wheeler. Your name, whether it's the literal name that you go by or

  208. the name you have, affects the way you are. So many times.

  209. It affects us. Jabs was a boy that grew up with a name that

  210. nobody else probably wanted. I want to preach to us just a little bit

  211. tonight on reaching beyond your border, reaching beyond that. Jabez could have lived

  212. his life in defeat. He could have lived his life in seclusion. He

  213. could have lived his life and never accomplishing nothing. But there was a point

  214. in a time in Jabez's life he realized the source he needed to expand his

  215. borders, reach beyond it, expanded his coast, reach beyond his border,

  216. and the Bible says that he began to pray. The Bible says a verst

  217. In, and Jabez called on the God of Israel coaching. And that is

  218. the first step to get in help. How it's the first step to finding

  219. something new, well, pick you up or do you good? It's to

  220. see the face of God. Whatever your trouble is, I don't care what

  221. it is. If it's marital problems, if it's depression, if you're discouraged,

  222. if it's a sin problem, whatever your problem is. Tonight, I

  223. want you to know the first step to get in help with it it is

  224. to seek God. How then, who you I'm telling you this not the

  225. counts or that you need. It's not alcohol anonymous that you need. It's

  226. not so kind of psychiatrist or psychologist somewhere it you need. The first thing

  227. you need. It's to see the face of God. God has all your

  228. answers. God has everything you need. Seeing the face of calm jams with

  229. all that was against him. The first thing he did was he called,

  230. Oh, the God of his ral Notice his prayer. The Bible says that

  231. Jabez called on the God of his roel, saying, Oh, that thou

  232. wouldst bless me. Indeed, but he added those words indeed that meant emphasis

  233. on that, Oh God, which he blessed me. It was at a

  234. loose remark, Lord, which you bless me, Lord bless so and so

  235. sometimes I thank me to use that a little loosely, Gord bless him,

  236. Lord bless him. And we use that. And I do as well.

  237. I'm not knocking saying that because it's wonderful. But I walk over to my

  238. brother Samuel, say, may the Lord bless you. That's a wonderful thing.

  239. I tell you. Somebody I texted me this morning on the fourth service

  240. from my area. I told him I was coming down here to preach.

  241. He TechEd me a real encouraging message. I said him one back, and

  242. I said, God bless you, man, and God bless you. I'm

  243. in it. From my heart. And I'm telling you j Bes didn't just

  244. say that, and loosely j Bens did not you say Lord, what you

  245. passed me? But the Bible said he said, when you bless me.

  246. Indeed, I'm telling you, I am imploring you, Cad what youploy your

  247. blessings? All my life. I know it's been marked by sorrow. I

  248. know it's been marked by reputation. I know what others had said about man.

  249. I know what Mamma said. I don't know what Daddy said. I

  250. don't know what the church said. I don't know other people said. And

  251. I'm asking you God, would you bless me? Indeed, about two years

  252. ago, I got a phone call from somebody in our communion said, then,

  253. would you go pray for daddy? Even so email excuse me as email

  254. said, he's very sick, said her family in our community. I knew

  255. them, I knew who they were. I had visited them a time or

  256. two in the past, but I didn't know the well and lived a week

  257. in life, a respectable weekend like them. I don't know what that is.

  258. In other words, they put on nice clothes and walked uptown and rode

  259. and find all the mobiles and lived in a nice house. But in all

  260. reality, the part that didn't shine into the public was underhanded, dirty,

  261. not respectable, running joints. It was a shame, amen, dirty money

  262. things like that. Well that's kind of people. This was. So I

  263. went to the house and I got to the house and we just had a

  264. little small talk. And he was sick. He didn't know it he was

  265. dying, would cancer at the moment, but he was sick. Found that

  266. later he was and died in about two weeks. But in this visit,

  267. I went there. His name was mister Jimmy White did And I went there

  268. and I said, mister Jimmy, I said, after a little while,

  269. after just a small talking, I said, are you saved? I knew

  270. the answer to that, but I wanted him to say that. I said,

  271. are you saved? He shook his head. I said, mister Jimmy,

  272. do you won't be saved? My now? Tears is running, brother

  273. Jeremy. He said yes, I said, do you want to be saved

  274. right now? He burst into tears. The elderly man, maybe around eighty

  275. years old, weeping heavily heavy when they get around, verywell, and got

  276. that went to his side his wife coming held his head and leaned over on

  277. him, and they both went bitterly, and I began the brave and a

  278. little bit he got prayed and saying saying thank God, thank God. And

  279. it was no question God wonderfully saved mister Jimi White. About two weeks later,

  280. I had the privilege to preach his funeral, and I told her his

  281. peers it was of the same caliber he was, of his wonderful conversion.

  282. And then he got saved church and got passed through who helped with that service.

  283. He came to me at the end of this heresy ship, Brother Lynn,

  284. that's an amazing testimony. Jimi got saved, He said, have been

  285. knowing him all my white life. He said, I got word that he

  286. had gotten saved after you went visited that day and said, I went home

  287. and told my wife. I said, wife said that you won't believe who

  288. got saved. And she said, who is it? He said, mister

  289. Jimi White. She said, you're right, I don't believe it. That

  290. was his reputation. He said, no, one's true, honey, he

  291. really I saved. Brother Gleaming was fair and preak with you. I'll tell

  292. you something You can rise above recognition. You can rise above your failures.

  293. You can rise above your shortcomings. You can rise above the things that have

  294. played you year after year and month after month. And you all the devil

  295. always told you. Yet I getting no high mids, and I getting no

  296. further than is. Maybe you have sought for the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  297. Maybe you have sought to be sanctified. Maybe you have desired to feel

  298. right for God, and you're not even saved. Whatever it is, I'm

  299. telling you you can rise above it. I tell you that you can get

  300. above it. The first thing is they told the name of the Lord bless

  301. you. The greatest thing will ever happened in you. You have ministers,

  302. how many of you? How many preachers you got here? I don't know

  303. whose preacher? Who hold up real good? Why to see you brother raining

  304. rays and he is, but I know he's a preacher. Y'all see that

  305. all these are young men. Maybe go for amen. I want you to

  306. know something. You can be used by God if you will seek the face

  307. of God. Amen. Hey, listen, I love shouting goods the next

  308. person, but it ain't high high you share. It's how good you living

  309. when you lay in they knew you O lover he Oh, brother tom Night

  310. used to say that. He said, if you are bouncing around and you

  311. ain't m living right, he said, you're wearing your shoes out for nothing,

  312. rags. God. I'm telling you, though, who can get an

  313. experience from God? Gonna keep you in the store. And hear me,

  314. I said, keep you in the store. I just saint, you're righting

  315. hid on the mountain. Why when you walking through the bay he've been said,

  316. God would he blessed me? Indeed, I want to skip that neck

  317. trace. And then he went on and he said, and that Thine hand

  318. might be with me, a friend. He's gonna need God's intervention in your

  319. work. Hey, hey, I said, You're gonna need God's participation in

  320. your work, in your ministry, and whatever you're doing for God. It

  321. didn't matter if it's a preacher. I ain't just talking to the preachers here

  322. tonight. I'm talking to all of us. We're all ministried from the law,

  323. we're all witness it for the law. We're all doing something for God,

  324. and we should be amen. I said, we are all we should

  325. be. You can't do it without his participation. My granddaddy was a Holness

  326. preacher for many many years. Old Time Holness died in nineteen eighty six.

  327. Here I got married, great inspiration in my life, great influence of my

  328. life. When he first got saved years ago, this had to be back

  329. in the thirties, early thirties, he got saved, and he said he

  330. had struggle around there, and he was fighting at the devil, and the

  331. devil was giving him a hard time. He said, I saw praying one

  332. day and I said, the devil and I get a little older in the

  333. Lord, I want to give you a black eye raised God. That's pretty

  334. bold talk, ain't it. Amen? And he said, But what I

  335. didn't know was the older I got, and the more I threw in Christ,

  336. he said, the stronger my trials become. The harder the temptations and

  337. the things that I faced as the Christian come, the battles that I had

  338. to engage him were harder battles. Amen. You must have the participant,

  339. a patient and by help of God in your life. You didn't like your

  340. prayer life. You think God's gonna be there every time. You didn't like

  341. your Bible reading. End of like the House of God, you come when

  342. it's fact, when it's convenient. You don't come when it ain't. All

  343. those things. I'm telling you, brother, you're gonna need God to help

  344. you in the middle of your work for him, whatever it is. You're

  345. gonna need him, in the middle of your child You're gonna need him in

  346. the midst of your tempt patience. David said, Lord, I want you

  347. to have your hand up to be upon me, that your hand might be

  348. with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from evil. That's the kind

  349. of way, that's kind. That's the way that the Lord pray. Baba

  350. said that when he taught said, teach us how to pray, he said,

  351. eat us, not inter temptation, but deliver us from one evil.

  352. Everybody's seeing evil in our generation. It's a hall of alice. It's everywhere.

  353. And you walk out the door, you're confronted with evil. Pick up

  354. your cell phone, you're confronted with evil. Go to the grocery store,

  355. you're confronted with evil. Go to the schoolhouse. You're confronted with evil.

  356. Say, well, I see my killing and Christian school. The hell be

  357. confronted with evil at a Christian school. Well, I'm telling you, we

  358. need to pray that God will keep us from evil. Jay Bench's prayer said,

  359. God, I want you to bless me and I want you to keep

  360. me from evil. How do want to indulge in evil? How do you

  361. want to indulge in any of the evil things of this generation? What if

  362. Jay Benz had lived in our day? What if Jay Ben's had a been

  363. in our generation? When we see evil prevailing all over the streets like it

  364. yesterday, it used to be in the corners, in the dark places.

  365. It used to be hidden behind closed doors. It used to be whispered about.

  366. But now it's shouted. Now, it's on the news, Now it's

  367. in the paper. Now it's on the street. Now they're demanding their rights,

  368. and just about every retail business out there, it seemed like a lot

  369. of them, maybe not every one of them, but a whole lot of

  370. the corporate America is getting in on the bandwagon, and they're supporting their evil

  371. agendas and the whole of sxual community, and God have mercy on us,

  372. the transgenders of this day. We're gore settled to an insane asylum just a

  373. few years ago, but now we celebrate them. Promote them to high offices

  374. in the government. Let them make decisions. It's concerning us. Have mercy

  375. on us. Off We've ever prayed the prayer that Jabs pray, God,

  376. keep us from evil, and you can play it today. Keep our children

  377. from evil, keep our brinds from evil. Get people from evil. God,

  378. keep us from that evil this generation. You're not exevial. Don't fool

  379. yourself. You're not exempt from me and confronted with evil in this generation,

  380. hood Lord of God. But you can overcome evil. You can be victorious

  381. over evil. Jabs pray, touch your prayer. I'm preaching about reaching outside

  382. of our borders. How wouldn't have God that betheled in this revival this way

  383. would reach beyond your borders, reach beyond your coast, hey man, get

  384. outside of the walls of the church and reach out somewhere else. Hunture you're

  385. doing. I've hurt a little bit about that already. I'm telling me.

  386. I only exhort you to do that. Reach a little further head, get

  387. out of your cuckports or hey man, and witness to somebody. El said,

  388. tell somebody else about cheats us, Tell somebody else about the good things

  389. of God, and to do any and begin to reach me your borders.

  390. If we want God to do that for us, we're gonna have to pray

  391. like Jabs prayed, God, would you, indeed, God, would you

  392. put your hand upon me? God? Would you keep me from this evil

  393. generation? Shot exactly the way he prayed. That's what it meant, God,

  394. keep me from this evil generation. Not only did he pray that,

  395. listen to this, that it may not grieve me. What did he mean

  396. by that? Lord, I want you to bless me. I want your

  397. hand to be upon my life. I want you to preserve me and keep

  398. me. You men, you know my wife brought a scripture to me to

  399. me yesterday when we were driving. Me is in her devotion, and he

  400. came back to me. The seating about the Bible says that the children of

  401. his rule, but it's in the Faith chapter says Moses, meaning the children

  402. of his world, and say were escaping Egypt, they were preserved when they

  403. crossed their own sea, trouble all around them. The sea was banked up

  404. on both sides. The Bible said, God's sending east wind in the hand

  405. right and across over on drying round. But it said that Hebrews said,

  406. But those Egyptians, they attempted it. The Bible says, they say,

  407. it means attempted. Hey, we will follow him. We're going across too.

  408. But God didn't promise to preserve them. Did you know that God provert

  409. preserves the Faithfulthelujah, Lord God, God preserves him and Paul's writing, he

  410. said that that to abstain from all appearance of heaven, and the very God

  411. of Peace shall sanctify you holy and preserve you blameless unto the coming of the

  412. Lord Jesus Christ. God preserves his people. He preserves us in an evil

  413. generation. God keeps us when evils all around us, evils at all and

  414. in every arenal we have to work in. Jesus said, Father, don't

  415. take them out of the world, but kingdom from the evil that is in

  416. the world. And here he says, Lord, he said that it may

  417. not grieve me. That means, Lord, don't make these blessings, I

  418. asked, being stumbling, not to me, calls me home, grieve me.

  419. Did you know some people can't take but so much for God's blessing.

  420. He becomes a stommach about to God towards his blessing home, and they begin

  421. to forget god Head. But Jabs thought about him. He said, God,

  422. I want you to bless me, but I won't want it to heart

  423. me. I don't want it to hurt me. I don't want it to

  424. make me forget you, Gord. I don't want this to be evil to

  425. me when it was meant for blessing to me. God, but you bless

  426. me, But I skipped a major part of his says that Jabez was praying

  427. for God's blessing. He was praying for God's hand to be upon him.

  428. He was praying for to preserve him from evil and not allow these blessings to

  429. grieve him on. He also prayed that God would in large my coast.

  430. God, I'm not dissatisfied to work out here, my little little sule,

  431. my little area, my little post, and I want you to let me

  432. reach out beyond. I want you to help me home, to reach out

  433. a little bit beyond that. I don't know where you comfort Jones at tonight,

  434. but I want I wanta tell you. In this revival, Lord has

  435. the Lord to hip his step beyond the helfort zone, helping Lord to just

  436. reach up and praise you a little bit what I ain't always been comfortable to

  437. do. He meant, help me to seek your face, Lord, when

  438. I just thought it was better for others to see God. I didn't want

  439. to go down, and I didn't want the saints to be wearied with Then

  440. I didn't want to go down and might not get what I desired. I

  441. want to encourage you to step out a little beyond that. And had seated

  442. the Lord with a whole heart and with sincerity, and told me all,

  443. I'm just talking to your friends about the Lord, and just your acquaintances and

  444. those that you know, and your mom and your daddy, your brothers and

  445. your sisters, and your companion. But reach out to yond that, and

  446. young men get saved. It macaull just not long ago he was on drugs,

  447. alcohol, leaving a very sinful lifestyle, and he worked in a in

  448. a plant with a lot of other men that live up the same way he

  449. did. But he got saved, really got something. He hadn't say,

  450. rudge every of the spirit the spirit of Lord do the movie. He didn't

  451. matter ifnybody else running it all, He's gonna jump up and run a few

  452. laps around the church than God. I mean, he just was excited about

  453. what God had done for me and the Lord really saved him. And he

  454. told me, he said ruddily. He comes to church one night and he

  455. saw excided. He was trying to reach beyond his boarder. He was just

  456. excited. Now, he said, guess what I did to day? I

  457. said, what's it? Brother? He said, uh, I've been asking

  458. him, the Lord, to help me know how to weakness the boards around

  459. me. He said, they see the change. And he said, but

  460. I ain't. I ain't know how to approach him. I didn't know what

  461. to do. And he said ask the Lord, said, Lord, would

  462. you help me to know what to do? And he said uh. He

  463. said, as a man over washing out something at him and he said.

  464. I walked up to him and I said, did you hear that? He

  465. see her and said, wait on, man, He said, you didn't

  466. hear that? He said, no, what are you talking about? He

  467. said, Jesus said, I am away the truth and the life. No

  468. man coming to the Father, but by me, he's reaching outside and his

  469. water. He didn't know what to do, but he said, God help

  470. me. No domportuned the quarter some stricture. He kept doing that too,

  471. raves God and witnessing the people. He told me many examples he did that.

  472. Boy could quote scripture too. He was reading this, Bob Man.

  473. He was studying the word of God and it was exciting him. I want

  474. to encourage that all reach out beyond your border, heymn God with you the

  475. heart behind border. God, would you just hopening up my perimeter here?

  476. Lord, I'm comfortable right here. I'm used to this. This is comfortable.

  477. Yeah, I'm kind of used to this. This is all right.

  478. I can march around this altar with my hands up a man, I ain't

  479. too embarrassed to do that. I'm comfortable with that, Brave God. But

  480. the Lord, would you just opened let me reach out a little further there,

  481. or I've been comfortable with Help me the witness to somebody I ain't get

  482. witnessing too, Help me the share of the message to somebody that need to

  483. hear about teach us all. If we could reach out, if we could

  484. expand the cat beyond our border. I'm telling you we'll pray like James,

  485. then we can do it, because the Bibles and God did it. Don't

  486. say that if you don't mean it. However, you don't ask God if

  487. you don't mean it. Hey, Sean, sorry, ministering. It's just

  488. truth and myself both praying my same way. God usance, God, help

  489. us to do what you want us to do. Hurt my wife and raped

  490. heal with me in the service kind of testify. She said, I told

  491. the Lord it used me anyway. He'll him we do long. He isn't

  492. a hunder any difficult situation. And I told her, I said, so

  493. I had a little song. I said, I'm promising long. I'd make

  494. him a soldier if you do. And I said, she said, yeah,

  495. I know who I did. I said that you had special Forces.

  496. Now she said, I'll remember sign up for that. I said, An,

  497. he did. Lease God, you said, older, I do whatever

  498. you want me to do. We say that insincerity when it comes from a

  499. genuine desire to do more for God. Do want more for God? To

  500. be hungry for God. I'm telling your friends, God will send you some

  501. things to do. It won't all be easy. It won't all get your

  502. packs on the back. Everybody won't chat with you, everybody won't pray God,

  503. plow you help me some time? Do you let the plow down.

  504. You'll have to pull through some hard prown. But plow own, Brother,

  505. I sit, plow hold. God will be win. His time will help

  506. you. These two short verses just tells us a little bit about kaviz stry

  507. thing of the piano, homeless high parade. And the most wonderful thing is

  508. it declared to us that God granted him some help. No, what's it?

  509. He asked for help? Well? How he asked us morning? He

  510. asked him to preserve him from evil. He asking, Lord, wants your

  511. hand to be a party. He asked him Lord in the Lord of my

  512. waters. He said, Lord, don't let these blessings become Henri's to me.

  513. That's in my words. That's what he was praying. Lord, I

  514. don't beat it be that way. And if Bible said God reading not part

  515. of one of what ja bens did, I believe we get that by road

  516. answer. I'm believing jay Ben's's gonna be one of those people it did great

  517. things for God. Don't reading more about it. We don't more offenshings.

  518. Lark Georgian Cyclin were probably know the probably wouldn't have done that. But I'm

  519. just saying we don't want word Jack. We don't know what he does.

  520. We don't want where you now. We don't know if he died of martyrs

  521. death. We don't know if he had success in his manistream. But I'll

  522. tell you what we do know is God branded his request. See so many

  523. times we measure success by numbers money and only on things we measure. Sometimes

  524. people say things to me, said, brother Lyn, you've been really successful

  525. a particularly, I would even like to hear what I'm saying. I remember,

  526. I say, well, it's the Lord. Nothing good I can do.

  527. It's still always given the creating a mean. Brother Hamil said this morning

  528. there was a whole I said about the church here, about your pastor all

  529. that's world has heard it. I like that. I believe him. I

  530. believe you have other waters here. But he concluded, right, he said,

  531. all of it goes to God. I wonder what gay mean is it's

  532. testimon the obedient. More read, you don't do that. See what it

  533. says about it. He just asked God to do these things for him against

  534. the odds. Obviously God he is. There'll be great men that live in

  535. our generation that will never hear about it. There'll be great women in our

  536. generation that we'll never hear about. There'll be some great prayer warriors that never

  537. get mentioned. And they talk about great many women of God. But God

  538. mess God knows them, He honors them. You want to have a revival,

  539. I believe you do. It's having had God's do and revival here.

  540. I'll tell you it takes people little prayer and see the face of God.

  541. Could you stand all the church? It's even I know this had been a

  542. shout message. That's okay, the Lord had a shouting to singing. But

  543. this is a message that I hope a challenges us. I hope of challenges

  544. to reach beyond my boys a little bit. For I'm like to reach somebody

  545. maybe right now, even as I've been preaching, you thought about somebody that

  546. you hadn't witness too, that you'd like to witness to this week and invite

  547. them to revive. You say, I don't believe they'll come. You leave

  548. that up to God or Grandaddy Beacham. Raising a Baptist church. I'm gonna

  549. get too long here, y'all forgive me raising a Baptist church. You know

  550. what they thought about homeless people? Look down? Said their family? His

  551. family, his parents, said it was trashy people. What about that?

  552. That's what. I don't know why they felt that way, but it did.

  553. And uh, my grandame, my grandame boats This young couple hadn't been

  554. married very long and all in their early twenties. Both of them was working

  555. at the middle that was hearing the depression, and they had gotten the job

  556. and to be lady, have your night, and lady come a little hold

  557. this wanted work with grandy. She con looked to us. She said,

  558. you're in revival this week. She would like for you and your husband come.

  559. Granny said she didn't expect to go. She said, well, I'll

  560. tell Daniel. Since she went home, she said, well, Dana is

  561. a lady at work. We had said that the little holdest church down the

  562. road here is hid revival and wanted us to come. He said, well

  563. we will go, said he shocked her so bad. You know what the

  564. thing, what in the world we're gonna go down at that holiest church.

  565. When he got in the earshot of it, said the little church set up

  566. on the hill, and it's back in the thirties. He said, the

  567. little church set up on the hill, said the windows was open, the

  568. service had already started, he said, was cross through the little railroad track

  569. and started up the heel to the church, and he said, I heard

  570. that same He said, oh, what scene? And he said something got

  571. a hold of him. He said, I got there in the service,

  572. and that preacher told how dirty oils. I saw our eyes of living,

  573. he said, not the old eyes of even pretty good, he said.

  574. But when he got done, I knew I was. He said, well,

  575. I felt the pool to go to that ultra, but I wouldn't go,

  576. he said. But the next night he said, I is we going

  577. back to church? He said. In the next night he was the same

  578. way. He said, whatever that was, it got a hold of me.

  579. He said it it tightened its scrip. Of course he learned what it

  580. was. It's convention that he didn't know. Then the third night he said,

  581. I stood it in the pew and he said, I thought, while,

  582. I'm rude if I go, And he said, I'm rude if I

  583. don't, he said, I'll be foal good. That's how hold this guy

  584. didn't my family brother, But it was we cause one little sister, but

  585. one to the holdest church. You know what, I don't know her name.

  586. Most of the people. My granddaddy ministry too. Don't know her name,

  587. but I'll tell you in my Granddaddy's day meaning you his name meaning you

  588. him. Oh yeah, you conventioned his name, mening you among our churches

  589. free holdest churches they knew about to meet people years later for grandade Day and

  590. I go to free holdes s meeting. Somebody come up to me and say,

  591. brother Glenn was brother beacham you and Granddaddy? I said yeah. He

  592. said, oh I remember and didn't tell me things make me feel so good

  593. that none remembers her. And she's the one that steps out the side of

  594. her border. And she told her a little old back is curled. That

  595. didn't even woman go around on the hold. His people said, what'd you

  596. come to it? Why don't you tell somebody this week? Can might somebody

  597. to come to meeting? Expand your borders just a little bit? Can ask

  598. Gohaha to put his blessing on God? Would you see zonit for us?

  599. The Lord. We know that our words are hip to you without your spirit.

  600. We know that our words don't mean much without your presence. But God,

  601. when we try to reach outside of those borders, would you just seize

  602. it. If we your spirit, would you use us for your glory?

  603. Ah, help us to expand our borders. Oh man, I'd like to

  604. see. We got a good number here to night, and i'd like to

  605. see any new one, a whole lot of I'll scene, Hanny, would

  606. you like to pray tonight? Would you like to come around this all time

  607. God here plus to reach beyond semi stuffs standing summer on me saying so they's

  608. no, then I it to love this world for says he can't come.

  609. This child was sa the soul of Saints stream
