And the third verse, Brother Nathaniel, John, chapter number five, verse
-
number eight. Brother Jesse first Samuel, Chapter number seventeen and verse number twenty
-
six. If you're saved him and not say, man, how a he
-
to feel the presence of the Lord in this place? Oh? Yes,
-
he is here. He's here in a mighty way tonight. I appreciate that.
-
I appreciate everything everybody has been doing for this precious church family. Brother
-
Nathaniel, would you read to us from Saint John's Gospel the fifth chapter and
-
the eighth verse, Jesus saith unto him, rise take up thy bed and
-
walk, Rise, take up thy bed and walk? Was that a commandment
-
specific for that individual that was surrounded by many other individuals that had serious leads?
-
You mean the Lord wasn't just gonna touch him and just help him and
-
let him just sit there forever? Know the Lord intended for him to take
-
action. I want to preach a message that the Holy Ghost has titled moving
-
from My place to His place. There is no doubt this man had a
-
place there for thirty eight years. Brother Jesse First Samuel, chapter number seventeen
-
and verse number twenty six. And David Spake to the men that stood by
-
him, saying, what shall be done to the man that killeth this philistine
-
and taketh the way they reproach from Israel? Or who is this uncircumcised phillistine
-
that he should defy the armies of the Living God. How many of you
-
know that David was taken action? Hey man, I want to preach to
-
us, Move and from my place to his place, or you could think
-
of it like this, Get up and get after it. Because we stand
-
for the reading of our text tonight. The third chapter of the Book of
-
Joshua and the third verse the Bible said, and they commanded the people,
-
saying, when ye see the ark of the Covenant of the Lorger God and
-
the priest of the Levites Bearitan, then ye shall remove from your place and
-
go after it, moving from my place to his place. Look at that
-
matter part of first number three. Again, remove from your place and go
-
after it. What were they going after? The ark of the Covenant,
-
the spirit of God represented in a box. Heavenly Father, we love it.
-
We praise you. I pray that you would have thought this. I
-
servant, set a god at my mouth, and help me to say the
-
things that you would happen to say nothing more and less and nought the ears
-
of this our people, that they might hear what it is the spirit is
-
saying to this group of people. Tone. I prayed God that you would
-
allow these sayings to gold below the shoulders. Lord, that it rares a
-
name within our spirit. I pray God that you would have torn me and
-
their lord, the preacher and those that hear the preacher. Lord, I
-
played that we would be carried to our place here in this typing oucle him
-
too, nor place to hold it of holy these thought which you help us.
-
We prayed that may we depart this place truthful it and not softly in
-
Jesus name. And the church said, hey, man, I want you
-
to look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, are you moving
-
from your place to his place? Ay? Man, I want to preach
-
move and from my place to his place. Our text has found in an
-
Old Testament book of the whole Bible. This morning, while preaching, I
-
mentioned a character and his name as Joshua. While mentioning the man Joshua,
-
I also mentioned his predecessor Moses. I was dropping a hint about what I
-
would be preaching all tonight. I feel like if you were to be where
-
I am standing, you would understand it. Undoubtedly the Lord has given us
-
a bird and for this service, and given us a message for some people
-
in this building tonight. When I think of the man Joshua, I'm immediately
-
thinking of someone that is a professional fighter, a skilled warrior. I'm also
-
thinking of a general of sorts. I'm thinking of a command or's somebody that
-
had served faithfully under the leadership of the Processor Moses. This is a man
-
that no doubt caught the bird, and of those that had gone on before
-
him, this is one of those men that watched the children of Israel bring
-
forth and multiply while wondering in the wilderness. This is a man that ministered
-
under the ministry of Moses to desert babies, people that witnessed people die in
-
the plan of God simply because they would not embrace the promised land when given
-
an opportunity. So there was a generation of desert babies, people that had
-
been built bored in the wilderness during a time whenever the children of Israel were
-
paying a penalty for not being obedient and doing the things that God had told
-
them to do. The Bible readers among us no very well that this man
-
Chashall meant so much to the people of God. There us no doubt he
-
meant a lot to God himself. He's a wonderful man of God. He's
-
a young man that would tarry in the time a knuckle waiting to feel the
-
presence of the Lord. And listen, if you ever assume responsibility of any
-
kind of leadership at all, let us parental leadership, or you become a
-
boss fan on the job, or you just become a leader in the church,
-
you will feel this overwhelming burden put upon your shoulders. And if you
-
love God and God's people, tell you two will feel the need at times
-
to pray all not long you two will feel the need to tarry in the
-
church house around the altar, or to tarry then fire forest until you hear
-
from God. So this young man becomes a wonderful leader in the stead of
-
a Moses. Now I want you to imagine with me, at the time
-
of this writing of our texts, we find that the Cheerman of Israel are
-
standing on the very threshold of the Promised Land. They are there, finally,
-
finally they received some good news, this news that they had longed to
-
hear. You see, their ancestors had received similar news, but they let
-
out and fear and unbelief keep them from inheriting and inhabiting the promised the land.
-
And because of doubt, fear, and unbelief, we find it that
-
they did not possess their promised to land. In fact, they did not
-
seize the opportunity by the four locks. They did not immerse it, and
-
they did not properly prepare for the moment that they needed to take action.
-
In I feel like this summing in this building. You know that the next
-
step we're about to take. You know our next move. You can build
-
the promises of Godd. You know that the promises of God are you?
-
And Amen? Then you're not waiting like these predecessors did until you hear that
-
it's time to go into the promised land. You're not waiting until the hour
-
before service starts. You're not waiting until the day before revival starts. You're
-
adequately prepared telling the promise to land. We found that the predecessors to these
-
successors, Choshua and the Desert Baby generation, have not properly prepared. They
-
have got so they had looked atter promised Land, that they had been disappointed
-
and discouraged by the testimonies of others that pastoral exhortation. No, mu's a
-
goal, I said. Your attics and your attitudes have act said affected people,
-
whether was intentional or not. You want to be corrected. If you're
-
a love chast cast it because has been as charming lawson. He chastised,
-
I hate the murder. This cannot be cogeneration that missus Alton who the promise.
-
This cannot be cogeneration that learns the attics and the attitudes and pre regenerations.
-
I don't feel like it. This anybody's team leader. There was ausability
-
to pass to the next generation negativity. We must pass her positivity if they're
-
gonna possess the promised lad. You see, these people are excited because they
-
had heard mom and Daddy talk about the time they had talked about the time
-
when they were we little lads. They heard Dad and Mom talk about to
-
Moses, old Man and God and leading them to the threshold of the Promised
-
Land, only to lose it when it was in their grip when they had
-
it. To call me to lose their crypt it. I thought about the
-
torture and the torment of knowing that I almost had it. I was sitting
-
in the fellowship haul this past Sunday night, and I asked Sister Wound her
-
question. I had never asked her. I don't want anybody prior to any
-
additional information out of her. But I said that you ever have another boyfriend
-
beside her soul mate en Ruten. And she said yes. I pushing to
-
tell you something you did not know. She said, I was very serious
-
with somebody else. She said in Pata, I was engaged. He was
-
my fiance. We went to get married, but between the bell then he
-
Michael led. He stayed Roy twenty nine man. He had an accident and
-
was in chected from the vehicle and he died. She said, I remember
-
getting that phone call and how I cried there I lest he than opportunity to
-
be married. Sister Ruten has experienced that. I'm telling you that you better
-
get to the hold of the promises. I said, you better get and
-
get ahead of the promises. You can miss it. Then when not to
-
sway be there will up is God's will. It'll always be there. It'll
-
always be available. Sister Wood said, it was so heartbreaking, so saying
-
you to get that phone call. What she's saying is the wedding bells that
-
had come into earshot? Is that wedding bells that I hear they begin to
-
drift away? Or the promised land that is within view? Now we've had
-
to put the car in reverse and turn around like a state trooper Dunza or
-
the highway head in the opposite direction, because God is not happy at all
-
without disabediens. Do you know you can drive right up in the right way?
-
And that how that God promise you that I had to put it in
-
re person and pulled down the road and never wat through the front door.
-
And I promise that. I tell him you you better feel God. I
-
said, you better fear God and running bess if you can't you hear if
-
you'll let somebody come between you? And he didn't mean not going. I
-
tell her he will hear her then running bells leaving what happened? When I
-
was a kid, I'd said, what happened? Where'd you go? I
-
heard the ice cream truck that meant to ice cream? Man? Was there
-
that meant to ice cream? Was in the truck. The blessing was there.
-
The sweet thing was there. I saw it on the next street over
-
that was so close I could hear it or what happened. And somebody had
-
saved me. Calls her. He was unable to turn from that street.
-
He was in being yet to do so. Today he turned around. I
-
remember standing there with my two dollars. They come on now, one chudge
-
Washington and another charge Washington. They're watching them literally waver type and the red
-
to the ice cream man. I did not get to that ice cream that
-
I lary. I'm talking to somebody here to night. We talked deals with
-
you. We've got them. Tell with a spirit, I said, they
-
tied deals, we were sold. We've gotta take accent. I preach him
-
the night. Are you gonna be his place for your place? That was
-
not their place. It was not their place to be wandering in the wilderness.
-
They were out of place. They were out of place. There's a
-
lot of people out of his place. They say it's the house of God.
-
They got to name God, Lord and Jesus plastering on the marquis the
-
church side. But God said, now I'm nowhere around there. It is
-
not a house of God. It is a social Gatherine, it is a
-
social club. Are you happy with Auctor? Are you content with Auctor?
-
How about it? Are you ready to move from your place to his place?
-
The moment, that's fine, that cock, I said a man,
-
that God, that's fine. That time God has made her name, that
-
I seem to be there, the moment, it's here, It's finally happened.
-
I can't believe this. I prayed for this. I'm celebrated for this.
-
I'm telling you my mouth has been full of slava for the leech and
-
the mellage of the leech of the village. All come on now, the
-
great and the honey of the problems land. And I'm sure this doesn't Baby
-
generation is saying, we're finally here. We're standing on the banks of the
-
river. We've been one day Casson for forty years, but we're finally here.
-
And mom and got in here. Might have missing. They're opportunity here,
-
but that doesn't pay me, So we're not gonna missing. They're opportuning.
-
Listen to the church and don't brow that Daddy and Mamma has done.
-
It doesn't matter but God. But as for me, my castle. We
-
will serve the Lord at his place. Who we all serve the Lord at
-
his place. Imagine the hustle and the rustle. There's more excitement being generation
-
generated this day in the household of the Howard on Christmas Eve. Imagine the
-
excitement. It is great, and it's contagious, and it's infectious. Everybody
-
ask why are you smiling? What are you smiling about? What are you
-
so happy about? Is type wetting bills that I'm here? Why are you
-
smiling like that? Look home, worker's aska. Oh come on, now,
-
where are you going? You're taking a trip. You see, these
-
people are standing on the brakes up chilly Charity. They're swearing a bunch of
-
banks and they proceed to whatever from means. It's finally happening, just like
-
the lad God promise. Forty years later, they are there. They're standing
-
there, and they're being known that the house a right. I will never
-
discredited the times of that God has in it been in my life, in
-
my bid payments. He has taken me from my place to his place.
-
I'm preaching to message the holys time from my place to his place. The
-
big day has arrived. Sister WoT would tell you she never made it from
-
her place to his place. But to day did come that she made it
-
from her place to Jean's place. Y'all, bear, women, we're going
-
somewhere here. If you were to flip back just a little bit in your
-
Bible, you would see the last verse of Joshua chapter two is this,
-
and they set him to Joshua. Truly, the Lord hath delivered into our
-
hands all the land, for even all the inhabitants of the country do fate
-
because of who, Because of us. These had to be encouraging arts to
-
Chosela. I'm sure he was all ears listening to the reports of these two
-
spiles. I wonder why Joselava reduced to the number of the spies, because
-
he knew when the Leader Knows sent twelve, he was only one team that
-
brought back at Clare Park. Come on, now, somebody said the safe
-
to you and the counselor bitting that's true. Into your counseling wheels, rise
-
Mela. Just the spies into the labor that bring music to his ears.
-
Way, Beth, you really want to lose that opportunity, do you.
-
I'm talking to somebody that you really want to let others hinder your life and
-
hurts you and bring harm to you, Because the truth is God's dealing with
-
you, you as an individual, you as a person. That's why the
-
great leader to Ushuah said, choose you this day, whom you're going to
-
serve? Whose house of worship? Will you attend worship? Act? Will
-
you go to a house of confusion where God has got the author of the
-
textbook? There? Will you go to the house of Jehovah? Will it
-
be a two foot tap in otclaw? Will you understand that one day there
-
will be solidity there. One time there will be permanency, a presidency there.
-
One time you will settle. You will quit driving dell state tent states
-
and anchoring your tent for a little while. You will put down the murder.
-
You will lay a farm. Day said you will inherent houses. That's
-
who did not build. I'm telling somebody that that's what's gonna happen there.
-
Will we go to heaven. We're gonna take to a place that's already prepared.
-
Will you miss that? I'm here, run it, bail, I'm
-
running. I told her from this place some day as a place he said
-
in my father's house. There are many mansions, brother Jes said. Jocelin
-
knew them all too well, the words of discomfort by people that discourage the
-
spirits of others. God can be about to do something wonderful among his people,
-
and there will be Job's counsel, or so to speak, there will
-
be the devil's advocates that begin to speak. And you know what, Joshua,
-
we could say in years gone by there were ten men, but thank
-
god they're dead and buried. Now there were ten men to put up a
-
protest any time I tried to inherit the promise, there were ten men on
-
the council that was brute and saying, we're not gonna go that way.
-
We're not able to inherit her little land. Come on, do you know
-
your Bible? Every time he would hear now to it was probably like a
-
knight to his ear. Trumps twenty but went out him that only to believe
-
that they're able to take the land as their old Tim felt like it.
-
It was an impossibility, and Tim felt like it. It was a possibility.
-
The knifing pain to the ear, Trump said, or Jocelyn Tailor or
-
the words or Tim Spice and it goes like this that in that land that
-
God has promised us, we saw childs, the sonset of a nature.
-
They come out and their childs, and we are in their eyes as crosshoppers.
-
And to be honest with you, we feel like we are crasshoppers.
-
Hold the contrast of the recharncer. After forty years, we want to learn
-
something, after forty years, after much pasts, how to rut play it.
-
We want to be ready to possess the private. Did y'all catch the
-
contrast between those two reports. One of them is an evil report, the
-
other is a glorious report. We were as grasshoppers in the eyes of the
-
chants, and also we feel like we're grasshoppers. You can call yourself a
-
grasshopper all you want, but whenever you're moving from church to church trying to
-
find his place, I won't call you a churchhopper or a grasshopper. I'll
-
call you somebody that is trying to hot Come right over the cat where you
-
know the spiritual that God is. Let him call you a grasshopper, Let
-
him call you what every day has been from. Let him call you a
-
church shopper. But I know I'm gonna get out of my place, that
-
I'm gonna get in his place. All the inhabitants of the land doth bount
-
they are faint of heart because of us, all what patience does, all
-
the perfect work that patience plays out in our life. Also suffering trial,
-
tribulation, and wondering in the wilderness, and depending upon God every day,
-
all the lessons it will teach us. You know, I feel like David
-
had this testimony in mind whenever he went that day to visit to his brothers
-
and Saul in the armies of Israel. He might have handed his knapsacker some
-
bread and cheese from his father Jesse, that brother Jesse. He was all
-
here, so he was listening to the words of a son or the senda
-
of a Naca. That I feel like David knew the word of Carna,
-
that he knew what Chostler has said. That they're just demanding the way because
-
of us, say God's people. We all had a similar stature. We
-
are not giants, but we might be shepherd boys and would not be crosshoppers.
-
Say, but they will make up that. I feel a like I's
-
that David was saying that that day when he waited out in the field with
-
the giants. Oh. Yes, he knew that with God was with him,
-
God would help him. Y'all will be here tonight. You couldn't handle
-
a little reproof before the preacher stole your shout. Huh, I love the
-
hair, grasshoppers preach. I got him out here preaching. And you know
-
what little is much when God is in it. And so Joshua knew we
-
can handle Ain't not in his descendants. David knew we can handle the descendants
-
of aindak Oh. Come on now, the devil can give it a name,
-
drug, addiction, bondage, fear, unbelief, confusing, anxiety,
-
depression, and worry. The devil can give them the sentence of anack of
-
name. He can say they've got six fingers and six terms on each hand.
-
In puta, he can say the name is Kalida. To let this
-
not matter. They are children of the devil. There ips of hail.
-
And the last time I checked out is still to homeless leaf, I said,
-
Lisa is still les. No nothing firm to gets us shall prosper.
-
In both instances, God had promised Canaan to Israel. At both opportunities,
-
all they have to do is cross the threshold. When you go into your
-
house. There's a threshold. There is there not the guys in this building
-
that work construction. No, very well, what I'm talking about. Those
-
of you that have carried your bride over the threshold into your house, you
-
know very well what I'm talking about. She's moved from her house to your
-
house. She's crossed the thresholds. She's in your domain, she's in your
-
territory. Here they are two separate times. They're standing literally at the bank
-
of the river Jordan, and they're taking an assessment and they're doing inventory of
-
what belongs to them. And there's two spies. Again. These spies are
-
saying, hey, we're able to handle it. It's ours. I think
-
they got tired of hearing the stories of how good it was. They got
-
tired of people sitting around the tyberknacle and the campfire talking about her. Let's
-
should have been Irison, not could have been Hires or if they to true
-
coaxon and can what con turning to do thirty years Tyler, this would have
-
been all whole walk. That is safer. The ats wouldn't have had to
-
take this body away. Oh yes, I'm talking about. I tell you
-
I haven't had us a correct that people wouldn't he do not come. God
-
wouldn't have been great for Moses to have enjoyed the fruit of his labor.
-
But because of the unbelief of people, they all knew this was a land
-
of potential. They all knew. I'd never thought I would have this.
-
I never even thought that was possible to have this. I've heard people before
-
saying I had no idea I could go to a church like that. I
-
had no idea that I could sit under a pastor to like that. I
-
had no ideil that I could call a church family luck that my own.
-
I had no idea that I could leave my place and go to that place.
-
It's a beautiful land. It's a place of Father Gilk and Honey.
-
I heard Sister Teresa Wallace say recently to me. She said, the first
-
time I came to kept meeting here, when we left, I cried and
-
I told me, he ch oh, the one day that would be whold
-
for the one day they would do my Chruch family, they can't be to
-
be. I need to pray in church tonight. If I've ever had word
-
all these years later, and now the outlook is different. They are saying,
-
truly, truly, that's what it says. The testimony is truly the
-
Lord hath delivered it into our hands. You know what they're saying. And
-
Joshua was just saying, this is a music to my ears. And he's
-
thinking about the epitaph of those other ten spires that they buried in the wilderness
-
and said, we're not able. We cannot do it. It's imp civility,
-
will never get there, will never arrive. And Joshua was saying,
-
come on, deacons to appreciate, tell us what you've seen. I'm a
-
little bit older now and I did not execute the style operation. But he
-
is a steel as sweet as it was so when I was there last.
-
Is it steel and as beautiful as it was said when I was very lost.
-
I want you to know I'm not interesting and hearing how it used to
-
be. I'm tired, but carry in the ashes of the castle. Somebody
-
feel the fire in this generation, the less time the podast to the fire.
-
It's the move of God. Steel as good as it was forty years
-
ago, asked Brother gabral Is the intill another holy ghost, the entwilling for
-
the Holy Ghost. Steel's kurt. Now, I said, wassa many years
-
to care? What's sister God? Yes it still has been a home.
-
I'll talk about Amen. What's your outlook on him? Are you excited about
-
it? Don't let anybody ran on your parade. Don't let anybody put some
-
fire out. You come home excited, You make that phone call excited.
-
I got the Holy Ghost, you better watch out. I got the power
-
God, you better watch out. I heard the Holy Ghost said to me
-
years ago, somebody was raining on my parade. I was thinking about that,
-
and the Holy Ghost said, when your parade is being rained on,
-
look to see who is holding the waterholes and get away from them. They
-
come on Joshua, who was glad and new team and elders couldn't stand up.
-
And they were skilled waters. They were fighters because they hadn't went behind
-
the enemy lives if you would. They were the Navy Seal team or this
-
day and hour with bother Nathan, and they come back and said, don't
-
touch it. We can't handle that time. But these such fires are saying
-
that truly Doll has given a time unto us. And I'm telling you,
-
if call us laid. I'll a promise for you. You gotta get a
-
pot, dog, gritpenite, and not get call. I will not be
-
denied. I gotta holds truly. The Lord hath delivered them into our hands.
-
You're right, Israeli Seal Team ten. You're right. You can't handle
-
it. You can't deliver it in our hands. But God can't. This
-
generation's putting all their hope and all their confidence in God. These Israelites are
-
ready to take their children into the promise. These is Roights are ready to
-
put the tip of their sword into the hangcomb and taste it. These is
-
Lights are ready to pluck off a cluster of grapes and take it home to
-
their babies and wash their babies mouths be stayed purple. They come on their
-
royalty signs of the royalty. And so we find them speaking these words in
-
the land of Shittim. And the Bible said they made their journey from Shittem
-
after they heard these words and stood them, and seemingly was a hopeless situation.
-
They stood at the banks of Trodan excited, and they thought, what's
-
gonna happen next to how are we gonna cross the river Chroitan with so many
-
people, how are we gonna get from our place to that place? So?
-
How are we gonna get from our place up to his place? And
-
for three days they stood there and won How did it happen? How in
-
patience possess you your souls? In God's waiting room? They stood there for
-
three days and for three nights they waited. The only thing they could see
-
was Canaan land and the walls of the Parcher's city, Jericho, Brother Nathaniel.
-
They could also see the raging water half Ajordan. They stared at Canaan,
-
and they stared at Jordan. They stared at Canaan, and they stared
-
at Jordan. They looked at their promise and said one day. And then
-
they stared at Jordan and wondered, how am I preaching to anybody here?
-
To night? They stared, and then they wondered. They stared, and
-
they wondered, Brother Nathaniel, how can we troll from this river of impossibility?
-
But you know what they did not do. They did not turn back
-
man what the Bible said, any man having set up his hand to the
-
plow and looking back, it is not pa king of the car The same
-
as that pickaball to lots of water. You better not look back off they
-
go, must know looking back into the cons on the other side of the
-
put all we can do to stand at the river Jordan and the eight,
-
think of the anc think of the long here. Brother Jesse's standing right here,
-
stand right here. I know, I know there's something better coming right
-
I know there's something really close. But between me and it is this river,
-
this raging doubt, unbelief, confusion, questions. You need to quit
-
looking into river Jordans, sir and ma'am, and you need to look at
-
King. You need to quit staring at the circumstances. I'm telling you,
-
if you stare at the circumstances long enough, you're gonna fall in to the
-
river. And do you know where the river Jordan leads? It washes everything
-
where to the dead sea. Everything drifts away unto death, and everything falls
-
away to death. I've seen people standing on the banks of the ruby red
-
blood of Jesus and they consider the cycriposta that he made, and I considered
-
the cycriposta they make it, and they look across their tak under heaven,
-
they look across their tail underheading us. They look across their tak on the
-
sectplication, They look across the taking to the lefts and victory that they're just
-
got willing to stare ahead at Heaven. They're unwilling to stare I the promise
-
here, Come on now. They're unwilling to leave their place of comfort and
-
the day to his place. I'm preaching to moving from my place to His
-
place. What do you look for when you're about to make a move of
-
that magnitude. All I'm doing is being a preacher and preaching the burden of
-
my heart. I'm letting the Holy go speak to you. I have talked
-
to nobody. I've counseled nobody. I've drought no subtle hints. I have
-
not implied anything. I am preaching to you what God gave me to preach
-
to you. What were they looking for? If you look at Joshua three
-
and three, you'll five that they are looking for the ark of the Covenant.
-
They're looking for brother's spirit of God is moving. I'm telling you it's
-
a good indicator. When you see brother Jesse get the Holy ghost, and
-
when you see brother Jonathan Heapwards get the herding ghost when you see brother Philip
-
Power will get the Holy Ghost. When you see brother Caleb Orn Camper,
-
so many others get the Holy ghosts indicative of the Holy Ghost his move to
-
come on now, and we're looking for the arc of the Covenant, which
-
represents the spirit of God. When I considered Canan, I wrote to Nelan,
-
is the arc of God leading me there? When I consider Heaven.
-
When I considered the Promise Land, I wrote to know, he's the spirit
-
of God detectible in that situation. I'm saying your life for the cable.
-
It's indicative that you were caught up and the Holy Ghost, and I was
-
a spirit of God trolling you to the bankser on the Red Sea, and
-
you're trying you to the banks of the rivertory. Only the swiftle you were
-
across to the other side and to the Promiser. Come the Holy Ghost.
-
I'll try to preak care you here, then put the Holy ghosts you with
-
it. When I need a sign, there'll be no other sign given the
-
Holy Ghost is sign enough. The Holy Ghost movement in my son's life has
-
proved positive enough to know that I'm in the will of God, no matter
-
who speaks against our move. Sixteen years ago we were obeying God. This
-
is the sign when the ark moose, we're going to move. That should
-
have been the sign. Brother, to think when Eli fell off the seat
-
and broke his neck and the ark of the Covenant has been taken captive.
-
You know what they said, the spirit of God has gone. I've hurt
-
people before, say preacher, give me about two years to pray about it.
-
I don't want to be a church hopper. Listen, sir, the
-
very mamitad the spirit of God has called the very moment. If the boy
-
gets fitted Adam got a holy custom. Can you place day place? They
-
are nothing to pray about at that point when God leaves, there's a vacuum
-
that pulls in seven other vile spirits worse than the one that was there when
-
God took over a vacuum, a vacuum. God was here. But where
-
is he now? I've heard many of you that have moved to your transplants
-
have said, we needed to get here, We needed to get here.
-
Notice. Notice they removed from their place and they moved into the place that
-
God had for them. The Bible said they went after him, looked at
-
him the last part of Joshua, chapter number three and verse number three,
-
and said, removed from your place and go after it, like brother EJ
-
did yesterday. He was headed to cheesecake factory. But it said Serena said,
-
Longhorn is sounding good. My pastor LIFs Longhorn, and I Longhorn.
-
Now only Longhorn can steer you away from the cheesecape factory because I love the
-
cheesecake factory. But I love Longhorn a whole lot better than I love cheesecake
-
factory. So when brother Ej told me they didn't make it to the cheesecake
-
factory, I knew the answer, but I had to ask the question.
-
I said, where did you go? He said Longhorn. I knew the
-
answer to that. Now. I'm telling you, when God calls you out,
-
he will not call you into anything less than what you leave out from
-
that. He will call you to something better. I'm telling you I've seen
-
people before. They knew that God was dealing with them, and like a
-
lot of hold they took action, But they stopped somewhere between them and where
-
God told them to be. You can leave soldom in Gabara and not enough
-
in the right place. So I'm telling somebody that you go with a spiritual
-
of cod he house, you go where you see, that's the prove t
-
is the truth you told the screw the remains from the truth. Anybody in
-
this house. Here the knife, I've got some more sides. That's a
-
look for him. You know what's in that ark of the covenant, Tables
-
of the law, Tables of the law. They say, well, Jesus
-
done away with the law. No he did not. He fulfilled the law.
-
He didn't do away with the law like you waught up a piece of
-
trash and throw it over your shoulder in the garbage pale. No, he
-
came to bring it to the fool and find Jesus tightened up on it.
-
He said, a man that lusteth in his heart after a woman committeth adultriate.
-
Already, he said that when it's guy hate in his heart towards his
-
brother is a murderer. Jesus is going try to minimize anything. Jesus maximized
-
the potential of the law. And I don't know about you all, I
-
know we don't keep the ceremonial law because that was perfected at Jesus Christ.
-
And to offer the blood of bullets and golds and rams and pigeons and doves
-
would be a terrible insult to Jesus Christ. But I appreciate the sanitary code
-
that God gave Mooses telling how to dispose of waste. I appreciate the sanitary
-
code within the law of Moses that talked about how how to have good hygiene
-
and to be clean. I appreciate the blessed word of God. There's a
-
whole lot more commitments than the Word of God than the ten that was in
-
this ark of heaven. That if Jesus kind of complicated in a little bitter
-
and he said, if you love me, keep my commandments. He did
-
not say, if he loved me, pick him up like Moses did in
-
disguster and throw him down. Ain't them now? He said, keep up?
-
How do you keep them? If you've got the spear of God in
-
your heart? The art of the permanence resigns in here. You have that
-
problem with keeping his combat. When I go to a church where they're not
-
preaching the word of God anymore and they're not keeping his commandments, and his
-
commandments are unnecessary, it's addicative of I need to move from that place to
-
his place. I'm just telling you there's some more signs here. That's something
-
else that you'll notice. Not only are the tables of the law in this
-
art that they're looking forward to move, there's also a pot of manner if
-
the preacher can't preach, I'm gonna teach you something that a lot of preachers
-
think because they find a good story and they build their sermon around that story,
-
and they get a little bit of emotion out of you and you shed
-
a few tears. That will not keep you a story in National Geographic or
-
Reader's Digest. That's definitely good reading material at times. But I have learned,
-
after all these years of preaching, it is not good preaching material.
-
I've heard them tell stories of tragic accidents. I used to do it.
-
I've heard them talk about people trying at the foot across in foreign country.
-
So I've done it before myself. I've told it to the Only thing we
-
did was producer crocodile tears of emotion in our altars that we lost our children.
-
They box slid. The only thing that could change a man is not
-
the laran. Say I'm a churnalist, say it is not the laran say,
-
I'm a newspaper editor. It is not the laranchal of an article.
-
He is the lancha talk that you will notice that with this preacher is preaching.
-
I preach the iron Bosa preach the lion. I have that book in
-
my office. I've had it for about twenty years. I ain't open it.
-
About seven five hundred sermon illustrations, the most coveted illustration book of preachers.
-
It's about this thick five hundred sermon illustrations by the Justin. It's about
-
that thick and it definitely gender's emotions. Whenever you've picked some of them sermon
-
illustrations out and they say you need two or three in a good sermon.
-
You know what I've done for the last forty five minutes. I have literally
-
preached the word of God. If the word of God does stop fascinate you,
-
if billing up to a pot of man or does not fascinate you,
-
if the word of God, the commandments of God are grievous, and you
-
know what, I bailing it up to a part of manna. And you
-
don't like preachers like this from God? Since the preacher by your way and
-
he drops handfuls a purpose in your hand. Oh come on now, I'm
-
trying to give something about it, a handful of purpose out of this part
-
of manner right here tonight they were handfuls on purpose. So you gotta win
-
me right here. I'm talking about preaching that gender, so not emotion early
-
for the power of called. Somebody said, and has got the pot out.
-
There's something else in that ark of the covenant, God than your head,
-
and it's the rod of air. And the birds say, you know
-
what that's indicative? I asked God over you today, I said, what
-
home? This haven't represented? He? I didn't read the word say on
-
a commentator, Hey, I talked to the Holy in Gustor. He said,
-
he that's a profitable ministry with profitable leadership, that profitable edification and profitabes
-
and such a It is a punning and a preating and a thriving and a
-
confitable ministry. I tell him you, God, well I have that church.
-
POSI if the church is running three or four, and they've been running
-
three or four, and I see it as an evanslist, they're running seven
-
or eight and they've been running that for ten years, and they got three
-
or four and an to three or four and us no more mentality. I'm
-
gonna tell you something. I'd rather raise my children in a pub than in
-
a club like death. There's something bad room. There's something really bad room
-
with a wound of that local assembly. There's a dead womb in there somewhere.
-
There's no way life is being supported. Aaron's rod is supposed to be
-
dead. There's supposed to be a message of death. Yes, somebody said
-
there taking the blood out of our hymnals or song books they wor some songs.
-
Now, rather stare it because they said it's a bloody religion. It's
-
still more bloody than is longlist or come on now, there's power in the
-
blood. I send this power either blood, and that's more than a rod
-
that is dead. That cross represents a love that I want you to know.
-
Every say, every am that is ever terifer has come out of that
-
same c That is theoried in the crowd. I'm telling who in that path
-
there is why what you're gonna lose? The things by going there? Really,
-
what am I gonna lose? Heart ache? Torah, confusion? And
-
so we're looking for the spirit of God. Who're looking for the ark of
-
God and the signs. Inside of the side is the tables of the Law,
-
and secondly a pot of manner. And thirdly we're gonna be looking for
-
that arc. This guy Aaron's broad that's a bad There's a Bible believing in
-
church. There's handfuls on purpose. There's a Bible believing in church. There's
-
handfuls on purpose. And then there is a preacher's ministry that is flourishing,
-
buddy, blooming miraculously, blooming miraculously and blooming miraculously. You know what you
-
gotta do when you see that, you gotta get up and get after it.
-
You gotta move from your place and to his places. Anybody in this
-
place right here tonight, you know, Jesus and John chapter number five.
-
He had appeared to that man that had been laying every seventh day and all
-
the other days for the week. I could pull are called Solomon's there,
-
but there's with his five porches and non Nathaniel. He had laid there long
-
enough, and for thirty eight years he had waited on a troubling a serving
-
of a specific for him, a message that was specifically for him. Best
-
people in this building that are here today because I'm a message. I'm a
-
service specifically for them, and to knock days best to take. You will
-
come back home and listen to this and say, that was the night that
-
God spoke to me directly. If you're willing to hear from him, if
-
you're willing to take action, that man had been in that condition thirty eight
-
years. Whether Jesse, would you come to the piano police thirty eight years?
-
He's impotent, lame? In other words, he's an invalid. He's
-
an invalid. When are we gonna get tired of hanging around where there's all
-
manner of diseases spiritually? I remember when I told Sister Howell, we have
-
got to get to a place where we do not lose our children through spiritual
-
illnesses and diseases. And I know we all flatter ourselves by sin. We
-
could have handled it, We would have made it. But I am convinced
-
that a lot of us would not have made it either if we had not
-
have made the move. We blame it all. We needed to move because
-
of our children. But let's all be honest. We weren't spiritual giants,
-
and we professed to be today, and we escaped by the skin of our
-
teeth, our feet had now slipped. We had almost fallen. And then
-
came that good report. Truly God had delivered this into our head. We
-
stood up. We went to the altar. That night. We responded and
-
said, Lord, when the spirit gets ready, I've got to move,
-
which you stand up with me here tonight as we could bring he seek the
-
face of the Lord. Jesus spoke to this invalid. He said, I
-
know you've been here for thirty eight years, and he said, would you
-
be made hold? And this man immediately begins to give excuses. Brother Jonathan,
-
He said, I need somebody to carry me. I need somebody to
-
take me. Let me tell you how you get from your place to his
-
place the same way I did it today at five forty pm. I'm sorry,
-
at four or forty pm, I walked outside and got in that expedition.
-
I put it in reverse, and I drove from my place to his
-
place. I left my house to his house. I can I feel like
-
God is speaking to some right here in this building tonight. And Jesus heard
-
that man say I have nobody else to carry me. Jesus wanted to know,
-
are you willing to carry herself to where the will of God is.
-
Are you willing to bring yourself and your family and where God can help them?
-
Are you willing to take them from that place to this place? Because
-
when he gets right down to it, every man better seek out his old
-
salvation with fear and trembling. Are y'all getting this? And then Jesus said,
-
it's our code text. He told that man, you need to get
-
up, brother Jeremiah. He said, rise up, take up thy bed,
-
and walk away, Brother e j I was asking God to do.
-
What does that mean? I've never heard a preach or talk about this.
-
He didn't want that man to take that bed back to that same spot,
-
because that's all he ever knew his home. There are people that are going
-
to die in churches that claim to be houses of God. They have long
-
been since died spirit, but they are going to die physically in a place
-
where God said, that wasn't me walking up and down. That wasn't me.
-
That was an impostor get up, arise, take up thy bed,
-
and go says to Hell. And I maybe seventeen years ago now, we
-
went to the pastor and we said, we love you, we don't want
-
to argue, all we can tell you is God spoke to us. We
-
don't understand it. He spoke to us and said go to LaBelle. We
-
cried, He cried. She resigned her Sunday school class. I resigned as
-
being one of his right hand men. I resigned as being the one that
-
took care of the church. When a man dropped dead. He looked at
-
me and said, run the service. I resigned as one that led to
-
see it. And brother Ethan, we went from that place to this place,
-
and here we are tonight, and I'm thankful for it. What will
-
it be? Your place or his place? Can you see it that God
-
is speaking to you. This is a servant specific for you. But you
-
say, preacher, I've been here for thirty eight years, what are you
-
waiting for? Well, preacher, we've wanted in the wilderness for forty years.
-
What are you waiting on? Well, I've been going here. I've
-
been a deacon of, an assistant pastor of, and a tea What are
-
you waiting on? No more excuses? Rise up, take up your bit
-
and find a new house. Joshua was three and three. Get up and
-
get after. Can we bow our heads right here tonight? I have delivered
-
the burden of my soul. Is that wedding music that you hear, Are
-
those wedding bands that you hear ringing in your ears? Is that the promised
-
land that you see? Get up and get after. You don't miss that
-
opportunity to you. Ken said it was not a possibility. Too had said
-
it is a possibility. But tonight the Holy Ghost is saying, truly,
-
God has delivered this hand just land into your hand. You're gonna fit in.
-
It belongs to you. You're gonna fit perfectly. You know why,
-
because it's home. It's home. And until then you'll stand on the banks
-
of Jordan and you'll long for it, you'll hate for it. If you're
-
here tonight and the Holy Ghost is spoke to you, and you know it's
-
time for you to get after, raise your hand. It's time for me
-
to get after. One, two, three, four, five, six,
-
seven, eight, nine, ten. Let's all find a place to
-
kneel and pray. It's gonna be a time of searching our hearts. It's
-
gonna be a time of saying, God, I want true will, not
-
my will, to be done for paramy, Lord, for the promised Land,
-
for parrady for parade. Where the spirit of God is, there's liberty,
-
because the Lord is that spirit. And where the spirit of the Lord
-
is, there is liberty. Wilt thou be made hold? Jesus said first.
-
Next, when given an opportunity to speak, he said, rise,
-
take up thy bed and walk. You're gonna have to walk right out of
-
that circumstance and situation into the promised way, walk right out of it,
-
walk right. How speak to me, Lord, Speak to me, Lord,
-
the howl starting sin you want anything? Brother? How is preaching on
-
you what God told him to preach? Let God be true and every man
-
moving from the bats to sta sweet Lord b Harty stating, don't do Lord,
-
I'll be you be wipe the world Lord and your stir. Or speak
-
the world Lord, my either street the word nor heart speak the word.
-
Lord. I'll be one. Yeah, speak the word on if it's a
-
far and battlefield where I find lepine to all and that's weird, I lore
-
to be. You could be in a desert, lead out a dream all
-
some cheap about to see Lord over if you just speak or speak the world
-
Lord, my ear, speak the world, Lord, art my hearty steam
-
speak the world. Lord of he one, he have me speaking, Lord,
-
and to survive. Now there is the times that I've complained. There's
-
the frolic cans, the grain belive he called the times. But you to
-
the to my deed, there is one thing they like. So I just
-
call this takes team or even to Lord that come my cross to come.
-
Must beat the world, Lord, my lord, speak the world Lord,
-
myrt we'll stead the Lord. I'll be one you have been to be,
-
must beat the world, Lord, and your service when well, if it's
-
a faring battlefield where I findly find you more in that way, love boy
-
a disream. We had a dream also sheep about to see more. Whatever,
-
if you'll just speak
