Amen. Has it the Lord been good to us already and you all gonna
-
Lord saved the best for last. Amen. So we're looking forward to what
-
the Lord you'n't talk to us through, Brother Jesse. Amen. I hope
-
to not be too long winded tonight. Amen. I don't know that I've
-
ever been, except for the time I've got pushed into it by the Lord.
-
And I think I went up well over an hour and then while we
-
were singing over there. Amen. I don't do that too often anymore.
-
Amen. Let's start in the Philippians, chapter number four. Amen, this
-
is what the Lord has put it. Put it on my heart, and
-
I hope to share it with you and hope it will encourage you. Amen.
-
I lift up your heart. In the Lord Email Philippians, chapter number
-
four and verse number four says, rejoicing the Lord alway and again, I
-
say rejoice. Amen, stretch your hands towards having asked God to help us
-
here to night. Lord, we thank you for your mercy, your grace,
-
your many blessings. God. We thank you for your presence that we've
-
already failed. Lord, we thank you that we know your with us,
-
and that he is the most important daing God, what you wouldnt be to
-
say nothing, Lord, nothing left God, and you would have me.
-
Let me speak to your oracle. God, speak curly. Let it not
-
be a God with you, Lord, that is talking, Lord, working
-
the lives of many mind every hendret and distraction in Jesus's Holy name. We're
-
praying, believing, and asking, thanking you God for all that you've done,
-
all that you will do, Lord God, and we praise you for
-
evermore a man and Jesus name. And the church said, he man,
-
you may be seen and praise God. All right. The Philippians here verse
-
chapter number four. Verse number four said, rejoicing the Lord always and again,
-
I say rejoice. Now, let's turn over, give me into the
-
preacher. Let him preach to us. Amen. I don't know what that
-
is, Ecclesiastes. Amen, we're going to the third chapter. Amen.
-
And I felt the Lord lead me here as well as kind of my co
-
text. Amen. And we'll take a great portion of what we preach out
-
of here to this. Amen. Tonight Ecclesiastes will begin reading the verse number
-
one and said, to everything there is a season and a time to every
-
purpose under the heaven, a time to be born, and a time to
-
die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up that which has
-
planted. A time to queue and a time to heal. A time to
-
break down and a time to build. A time to weep and a time
-
to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. A time
-
to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together. A time to
-
embrace in a time to refrain from embracing, a time to get and a
-
time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away,
-
a time to rend and a time to sow. A time to keep silence
-
and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate,
-
a time of war and a time of peace. Amen, Praise God.
-
Here we see time mentioned so often. Amen. Now it is up
-
to question, Amen, But knockman to do question the author of the Book
-
of Ecclesiastes and may because if you'll read through here, he doesn't and as
-
he does in some of his other writings, he doesn't identify himself. Amen.
-
But he does see Amen, he was a son of David that reigned
-
over Israel in Jerusalem. Also, he identifies himself as the wisest king to
-
reign in Israel, Amail. Now, if anybody else took credit for that,
-
Amen, they'd probably be sadly mistaken here Emen, so it's safe to
-
say this is more than likely. And then the writings of the great King
-
Solomon, who was a wise man, and he Amen, was given the
-
wisdom from the Lord when he gave was given an opportunity to ask for something,
-
he asked Amen, something Amen, not upon to consume upon his own
-
lust. And thenbod he didn't ask a myth. Rather, and then he
-
asked something that would benefit others. Amen. He had a great responsibility.
-
And then many were going to be leaning on him Amen, to give righteous
-
judgment. Amen. And here we see him right under us. Amen.
-
Of times that will come and times that will pass. Amen, we find
-
in our text that there is a time for some things to begin and a
-
time for them to end. Even we often used time as our basis to
-
start projects, and it is used to calculate the leaks thing will take or
-
last. Amen. Time it's hard to define. But if passing is something
-
that and will assuredly happen, Amen, as sure as you're living and breathe
-
in a middle seconds or passing seconds will turn. Amen, the minutes and
-
minutes to hours and amen, hours, We'll be amen a lot time.
-
Oh I'm trying to get somewhere y' out there with me here, Amen.
-
Times effects are seen on everything here on earth in some way. Amen.
-
Truly we all go through the seasons of life. He describes here Amen,
-
the truth that we are. Or amen, someone that faces struggled. We
-
know the old song that said, sometimes I'm up, Amen, and sometimes
-
I'm down, and like us seem to throw us that roller coaster. Amen.
-
Where it is a time to plant, a time to pluck up in
-
our team. Here amen, ears praise God. Amen, while they're still
-
time, I will and then of the titles I began to study and pray
-
and I and uh, you'll bear him and it'll make more sense later.
-
Even but the title I got his prayer was, it's always rejoice o' clock.
-
If it it's always rejoice o'clock. Amen. And here there is a
-
time and amen for sadness. And then we see here a time, mayben,
-
will someone will be born. We see a time where some will die.
-
Maybe if we see a time, ayben, where someone will struggle,
-
maybe some will build up and some will tear down. Maybe, but if
-
we get, ain't ben a divorce four Philiprians. Or maybe he said rejoice
-
in the lorna. Oh may that so through the ups and downs, and
-
we must rejoice. Get the struggles and trials, and we must rejoice.
-
They be nobtter what you're in that season of life? It is bearing the
-
clock, isn't it's midnight, Amender? If there's lunch drive, it's always
-
rejoice the crocking many. We've always got a hall a song. We've always
-
got halla try, but we've always got a happy three doubt our show,
-
Amenda. God, let's babble wild and we may get to feel the powerty
-
Oh God. Truly, there is no new thing under the sun, and
-
there are dark days. Let's seem to affect us. Amen. But we
-
must believe the sun will shine again. Amen. The Bible said joy comes
-
in the morning, Oh, joy coming in the morning. Amen. But
-
the joy that comes in the morning will do no good for those who are
-
not looking for a reason to rejoice. Amen, Oh God. Even if
-
day full of sunshine, Amen, can be avoided by hiding in case.
-
Oh God, we see many Christians Amen, they live Amen with Jesus in
-
their hearts. Amen. They live with the blessings of God in their life.
-
Amen. And then but they still seem to be down all the time.
-
Amen, because the rays of sunshine can be avoided. Amael Oh,
-
God's not truth. Amen with you. The Bible said Psalm Sturdy in five.
-
In his favor is life. Weeping may endure it fortnight, but joy
-
cometh in the morning. Amen. We know of David and of King Amen.
-
Of David at zeke Laggey wasn't yet kinga Amen. But we know of
-
how the enemy came and destroyed all the those things that seemed precious to him,
-
all those things he health, dear and health too, and men,
-
it was seemingly stripped from him in a moment of time. Amen. And
-
he left. He was left with nothing but ashes. Even when we heard
-
the Bible, see, even David encouraged himself in the Lord. Amen.
-
So when he was looking bleaker, Even when David had lost his wife,
-
aben, David had lost his children. Amen, He still has to have
-
a song in his heart. He still has to have the joy the Lord
-
that he is a streamed up Amen. Week Christian, And yes, I
-
said week Christian. Amen. If you know how joy you are but weak
-
Christian. Because the Bible has been right yesterday, the Bible's right today,
-
the Bible will be like tomorrow. And if he don't like to join the
-
lorda you have to straight my God, A man. If you don't have
-
joy, you have no strength, O God. Because David was able to
-
encourage himself and the Lord, he was able to recover all. We have
-
many that because of discouragement, they could sit on a church we put you
-
oney or thirty years and they sit there and they blame God because they haven't
-
had victory in their life. Amen. Yes, it's a trial and a
-
struggle, but we can't blame God. But even because we have no victory,
-
Amen, if you're sitting there with an attitude of discouragement, up expecting
-
God, Amen to give you a shot of adrenaline. And then Holy goes
-
to adrenaline to get you move, hit up, they get you out of
-
the valley. You'll never happen. And then, because it is an individual
-
responsibility, while there's time, Queen Master, encourage ourselves of the Lord,
-
while there's kind, lead by something calling out of the fire. YEH got
-
back, I said, while there's time, lead my straet choice out shot
-
got here. They don't gotta look the pennel start. They don't. I
-
don't want it done. Be a family. They don't batter, make a
-
start the go oh my god, it's still in choice. The clock shot
-
out at the high. But I get any man in the last amen some
-
one twenty six verse five said they that's so in tears, shall read who
-
is so in tears, shall read the joy about it. So it is
-
an action sowing his work. And then so it takes effort. And men,
-
you must put effort into it if you expect to seek God Amen to
-
work in your life. If it bursts, seeks those on the say,
-
he that doth for the weeping, very precious seats, shall doubtless come again
-
well, recrossing being in the season with him. Maybe something will calm doubtless
-
again, or will rejoicing. Because even in the hard times they went back
-
the soul. Even in the hard times, when tears rolling down their face,
-
they had a Hallelujah in the house of cod even of the hard times.
-
When life is als Ayben, you call Marria of the hot ties.
-
You gotta have a phrase. It can't set the reek card or despite the
-
burnings, the strike, despite them struggles. Amen, he will doubtless huh
-
death, But it's gonna happen now, shout, they said, I come,
-
I get rejoicing, ary pressa seed ahead. What the hell have I
-
seen that? Boy? Here? I studied in my mind's eye, I
-
seen a man Amen with a sexual seed. Amen. And yes he went
-
away crying. He went into the field burdened way down. Oh, but
-
I could see him coming again. He had somebody with him though. They
-
said, Hey, because that brother Amen, Joe's I mean, who boy,
-
say that that's their brother Jefti. Aman's that brother Jefty in the distance?
-
He must have met someone in the field today. Amen, Joy,
-
it's coming with brother Joy. Shot. I got ahead, Amen, brother
-
Joy, follow you. They been by the child. Don't hit the hard
-
eyes and that sister Choy, they'll follow you on to tell you of your
-
life. And man, if you're making a dear kids, then there's a
-
story of a brother that I heard it and then as a child, and
-
it's always stuck with me. And then he was almost I've heard he was
-
a little ascentric, a little strange comparative to something they would say. And
-
there were many people that noticed, they meant on the bottom of his light
-
colored shoes, and they meant they would catch flipses of words written there.
-
Amen if they realized that. Amen. Finally, one day, hey,
-
he really is writing something on the bottom of his shoes. And when they
-
got to look it closer and asked him about it, he said, I've
-
got glory, hallela many glory written on this foot and Hallelujah written on this
-
one. Listen, why do you do that? He said, because every
-
step I take it's glory and hallelujah. That's someone literally cloyer, that's someone
-
doing up. Gave it out. They're coming in again, a very imprecious
-
seas and anything about oh my god, there's some water that needs your song.
-
There's some water. There's the real life there ship tire your life to
-
rejoice They're still tire your life and hit the break list that get breathe.
-
The Brussel Paul said, rejoice in the Lord alway, and again I say
-
rejoice about how about you? There is time and any time for repentance.
-
There is a time for reconciliation. There is a time for renewal. But
-
there will be times we experience restoration I mean there is a time for being
-
bod and a time for being refilled. There are times were Anna reaching at
-
it up, and times we reflect the liter are times we reminis them,
-
and times ain't matter we recrect. There are times when we recounted were God.
-
At times we written ourselves up. Ain't remember They're always should be a
-
time up. We rejoice there never should be a time. If we talk
-
to abo, have a song? Got the Bible told us a things and
-
songs and the sundown of the strange ragder. And they didn't have a song
-
though. Hey, they even put their instruments in the side to sing the
-
vide sing it down time soon? Whoa exact you tonight? If you put
-
your song to the side, are you not seeing it? Or you saying,
-
ah, LiF's been to run? Oh god, I've had this for
-
two weeks. So don't nobody take it personal and say, hey, he's
-
preaching what he heard. Amen, he's preaching just something out of the blue.
-
And then this has been on me through thicking theatera amen, through slubber
-
Amen, in a week. Times I've thought of this and it's stirred in
-
my heart. Amen. You say, yeah, that's easy Amen, for
-
a young twenty five year or twenty four year old to say, and when
-
you're twenty five right, twenty four year old to say, Amen, he
-
had to been through nothing. And I think only once if I ever shared
-
this in a service, Amena. But you don't know me, U,
-
and you don't know what God has done for me. You don't know me,
-
and you don't know how I've gone pulled me out Amen of what could
-
be a demising situation. And when you say, hey, you're young,
-
he ain't been through nothing, my God, when you're there after you in
-
the morning and they're asking you that you want to pull Amen, you're in
-
the twenty week Amen, like twenty two week baby offlights a point and let
-
him shot. I let him be gon hope to be with God. And
-
then many people would wrap it off, going the towel, say I ain't
-
gonna leave to the singer, and yes you do. Oh God's still a
-
god in a long time. I still good in the black hiding when life
-
was Rotha, when I lost things, he was still there. Oh God,
-
you didn't bounce back. It took you six months, a year,
-
five years, No, not on me. But he put strength in there,
-
and Sunday morning I reported to my respective place in the whole class teaching
-
children and man, my God and my God's God, the song, watch
-
your song, love. They've never been got by that. You ain't got
-
something can't got for The sun will shine again, but it's raised of splendor,
-
and then will not have us glorious an effect on those that are not
-
looking for here's a beauty. Oh yes, the sun I'm looking for had
-
the moon and starts the sun I'm looking for. But the rises to the
-
occasion on the back days. Even the sunthing that's light shine into me when
-
I'm in disper need of And learned the spar and then he had named the
-
sauna and said it would God as a strong man. And then I hit
-
the world. Weep. It will come to an end, sorrow one morning.
-
We don't have times of reprieve. Amen. We were experienced times when
-
we're not laughing. We were experienced times where rest comes to an end.
-
We were experienced times amen, when a day of work comes to a close.
-
Amen. But we must not let our rejoicing have an end. It
-
must only have a beginning. Well, God saw him seventy one and fourteen.
-
Oh, I really will shaw. Let the word of God get to
-
you right now. Could you open up those everlasting doors and let this amen,
-
the worth the god breathed holy word of God speak to you. Amen,
-
he said, But I will hope continually, you say, preacher,
-
I've tried it before. I got two eaks down the road. Oh and
-
I was damnas stead. No I knew health continually and well, yet pres
-
him nor more. Oh God, I still got a song shut out,
-
my God, My God, my head. I got my head through the
-
hard ties. I praise him through the stud of the tires. I craze
-
him, creuse a back in the NLIS through sickness and David Cathy even through
-
ain't the loss of health through Lord piece through plenty of favorite I will praise
-
him that's not difflict or must beloved. I mean, I would dare say
-
the world most beloved. Scripture, Psalms twenty three. No one wrote good
-
tips that wouldn't wont with little data. Was flying high. He could have
-
been in the Dillys were the down and a shout up down, let me
-
go, and then he conna be out in a fields rounded by enemies.
-
He wrote down I'm with me. He should die for Paris or table before
-
me in the presence. Y'all get this, and you listening to the night,
-
it's always rejoice to talk. You say, we shouted this morning,
-
you shay, we praise this morning, my friend, brother Shamuel. For
-
those of us that like the praise. I've got some good news. I've
-
got some good news. You say you're after fanantical. Oh, you should
-
see me in my house while they were sleeping this afternoon. I shall praise
-
you at the round show in the me guy here always, little guys,
-
are somebody more abound, somebody praying. I'm gonna pray anything more. And
-
morn more and Morne more, and Morne knocks on a raft. I've got
-
more to preach. I remember, I just fell laughing to leave you with
-
this, hey man, okay. In my time of prayer, my time
-
of prayer, I was praying, and the Lord made a connection I've never
-
seen before, and it was so good and rich to me. He brought
-
to my mind the words of my Savior is yours who to envision him?
-
Right now? Your King, your personal king, my brother Nathaniels, your
-
personal savior. He spoke these words unto you and under me you say,
-
lo, I am with you alway, even until the end of the world.
-
This is how Paul could say, rejoice the Lord alway a man.
-
We know that word alway is not the same as always, because always describes
-
particular moments in time. Remember a shot of the again always means whatever?
-
And then why will you, trim be able to praise him in the hard
-
times because he's with you? Why will you be able to glorify him when
-
it seems hopeless because he's with him? Oh? God, how often should
-
you praise him? As often as he's with you? Now, if you're
-
in this building tonight you say I praise him this morning, I don't have
-
to. But the next time you and then in a bad situation, God
-
can have the same definition of all you get there are you listening? What
-
have good interpreted the hallway like you do? WoT he be down the back
-
day? Just on the good days, every service on the best choice?
-
All right? First, sister Lordians five at sixteen re choice, Hey anymore,
-
don't stop. You don't have a reason to quick your bad day nor
-
struts not then praise now your rup time is not stillson, rejoicing the Lord,
-
not a song. This word crazy. I look up the definition of
-
one of the scriptures I was reading. He said it was to be Atham
-
bad man. Look, I love to consider myself and he has someone that
-
fanatically phrases. I said, because he's with you, ain't getting like a
-
feeling of my soul? I live that crazy? Could we? Could we
-
praise it every more in the middle of the freature, in the middle of
-
the season. Every one and author, service, everyone bar bar all praising
-
you. Can we just craise him? Can we praise him? Brother Nathaniel,
-
that Golden text didn't say rejoice in the Lord. In the Lord,
-
right, rejoice in the Lord. You don't have to rejoice in your employer.
-
You don't have to rejoice in Bethel hold his church, or any other
-
holding his church, or Pentecostal church, or in pastor howell. But you
-
always have to rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice in the Lord. I appreciate
-
this, don't you? Can we praise the Lord right now? Praise the
-
Lord? Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. If
-
you're looking for a reason I praise him and rejoice. You ought to just
-
rejoice in him because of who he is and because he's with him. Alway,
-
that's right. When it's raiding the darts of the enemy, When the
-
darts of the enemy are showering down upon you, all you gotta do is
-
stuff at chill of faith. Right, the preacher said, just rejoice in
-
the Lord alway, it's always rejoice the clock. Amen, Praise the Lord.
-
Come on, brother Jesse and preach tonight. Praise the Lord, Praise
-
the God, Praise the Lord. I feel the presence of the Lord in
-
here this evening. He is definitely here. I feel like I'm in the
-
boat with uh brother Larah Moore this morning. I feel like what I guys,
-
just don't go. But I want y'all to to to uh thank you,
-
to stay in this atmosphere because I ain't gonna be that long and some
-
of us need to really pay attention to take key to what the Man of
-
God told us. And whenever it hits author service, if you need to
-
rejoice, just go right ahead and rejoice, because there's gotta be somebody else
-
that needs to do something else. But I believe that God has spoken to
-
someone here tonight. I'm forever grateful and faithful for him. I want to
-
give honor to my pastor, a mighty man of God that I look up
-
to greatly, my role model. It's uh, it's so good to be
-
in the house of the Lord. As I already said, Um, I
-
was praying last night, and uh, the thought come over and over to
-
my mind. Who believes that it's God's will for us to rejoice? I
-
believe that will. This dog kept running over my mind. Let your will
-
be my command. I don't know where we come off that we have a
-
choice in the matter. I said, if God told you to do something,
-
it is no choice. It's a commandment, the cruel to heaven for
-
you to retrust in the Lord or whatever it is, it is, ain't
-
command. His will is our command. I couldn't get away from that.
-
I wanted to share that have nothing to do with my message and just call
-
I just over and over again last time. That's all I can think about.
-
So let his will be our command? Asks the sixteenth chapter, a
-
very familiar passage of scripture. But the word of God should never get hold.
-
But you don't say, oh, here he goes with this story.
-
We know what his end point is here. I believe someone here needs to
-
hear this. The Lord dealt with me. I have a terrible time with
-
titles. I ain't gonna lie to you or I wrestle with it. And
-
I said, God, I need you, I need you well. I
-
knelt down to pray for about ten minutes, about a week and a half
-
ago, and I declare, if I've ever feel like I've got a title
-
from God and a message from God, is this one right here? I
-
believe He's spoke into my heart. Acts the sixteenth chapter, first number twenty
-
five and twenty six reading. And at midnight, Paue and Silas prayed and
-
sang praises under God, and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was
-
a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately
-
all the doors were open and everyone's bands were loosed. Would you lift your
-
hand and praise to night, let God have his way? If God be
-
asking to and hand your parding feeling way the service God, hide me behind
-
the frond that didn't see you and not mean God, let him see her
-
love, great God, let him see your breath in your power. God,
-
lets your annoy me go through that pas and break the bands of the
-
enemy. God, will you gonna break her every change that hands us bound,
-
You'll give your colory and honor. Be praying your sons name Jesus from
-
God on the front and gave his all for us. We praying His holy
-
name in Jesus name, Amen and AmAm. We read of Paul and Silas
-
in prison. Now, real quickly, just right off the top of your
-
head. Does everyone in the building know why they were imprisoned? Because they
-
cast out of the devil? O girl, Now, I don't know if
-
everyone knew that. So we're gonna back up a little bit. I'm gonna
-
give you some context, and then we're gonna get into the why they're in
-
prison, because some of you spit it out real quick, and some of
-
you got that there in the headlight. Look, you know what I'm saying.
-
So we're gonna let you. We're gonna catch you up to speed real
-
quick. The Great Apostle Paul has had a vision. The great missionary Apostle
-
Paul has had a vision before they got into this place. And in the
-
vision he saw a man from Macedonia saying, come over and help us,
-
Come over and help us. So they leave the trou AzID, and the
-
Bible says they leave from troue AzID, they make their way to Macedonia,
-
where this man is asked saying, come help us. So they make their
-
way into Philippi, which we read is the chief city in Macedonia. And
-
I don't know how long they were there before the sabbath, He don't say,
-
But then it says, and on the sabbath they went down to the
-
river where a few women were praying, and there they met the notorious Lydia.
-
I'm sure we've all heard of Lydia. The Bible tells us that the
-
Lord opened her heart and then she soaked up every word of the apostle Paul.
-
The story goes on to tell us that Lydia, the seller of purple,
-
was baptized, and afterwards she can strain the men of God, and
-
she won them to come back to her house and listen. Then we get
-
into verse number sixteen by this time, and and it tells us that as
-
they journey a prayer, a girl meets them in the way that was possessed
-
by a spirit of divination. And we read in the story that she would
-
that she would bring her masters much gain so so her master's made a lot
-
of money or whatever. I don't know what they considered game, but maybe
-
it was a food in those days, or maybe they just said, oh
-
yeah, that's that's his you know. Maybe they got praised out of it.
-
I don't know, but regardless of the matter, I'm sure it was
-
monetary. But they got much gain by soothsaying. And we know the story
-
how she followed, how she followed Paul and the other men of God,
-
saying, these men are there, the men, these men are the servants
-
of God, the servants of the Most High God, would show us the
-
way of salvation. And the Bible tells us, Now, that sounds good
-
to me, But the Bible tells us she did it for many days,
-
right, every everywhere they get. So so everywhere Paul goes, you're this
-
girl a few feet behind him, all these minute of them servants of the
-
Most High God, which a precious salvation. And uh, well that happened
-
for many days. And so the men of God and Paul and all him
-
is starting to become very well known around the city because they have this this
-
little girl following them around hollering everywhere they go, making a big seating.
-
The Bible tells us that Paul got grieved, he got greed, and he
-
turns to the girl and he rebukes the spirit. And we read that that
-
that the spirit which wasn't he found that interesting? I didn't look into a
-
bunch, but he said he came out of her that same hourum and verse
-
nineteen. We read that her master's were not happy at all about the little
-
girl receiving their freedom. And that's a sad state. Whenever someone can be
-
can be set free by the them kind of power of God, and and
-
somebody gets greed or all, they don't like that every much. So so
-
these men, after this girl was being set free from this spirit, they
-
take they take Paul and Silence into the marketplace to the rumors, and the
-
master of the girl, the masters of the girl kills the magistrates of the
-
city that Paul and Silence exceedingly troubled their city. Now we don't read it
-
in the Bible where Paul and Silence and them were troubling the city. I'll
-
read where the girl was. But that was their little they're little starting knows,
-
Brad, you know that that was okay. But the vult two rose
-
up against the men of God, and the Bible says, just hang on
-
with me. I'm trying to catch you up so that you know that you
-
know what, why, where, why these guys are where they're at.
-
The magistrates says, ripped their clothes and commanded them to be beaten, and
-
after they had been beaten, they cast them in the prison, and commanding
-
the jail or to keep them safely. And I found it interesting that when
-
the jailer, I don't know, maybe it was normal, maybe it was
-
every every prisoner got the same treatment. But when the jailer received a personal
-
command to keep them safely, he throws them in the inner prison and made
-
their feet fastest stocks. So so now now you know. So now you
-
know why we're where we're at. So now you know why these men were
-
locked up in prison. And we're getting to our texts now. And at
-
midnight, Paul and silence praying, they began to sing, praise this unto
-
God, don't fall out with me here. But I don't think they were
-
singing that old my poor me crying in the rain with my new eyes kind
-
of song. The Bible said that, and it's easy whenever we get into
-
a place like that, to fall into that trap whenever we get into a
-
bit of a little bit of a struggle and a little bit of a hard
-
time, to go ahead and lay on down and just let the devil do
-
what he wants to do. But but that that wasn't the case with Paul
-
and silence. We neveritely got in his heart shield. The Bible said they
-
sang praises to God, and there are songs of deliverance in the Bible.
-
And I couldn't help my mind went went went off and let field. When
-
I begin to think about this, I thought maybe they got maybe they borrowed
-
Moses the song of deliverance. As they tapped their feet and the change sounded
-
of a melody on the call stone floor, and then began to sing,
-
I'm gonna see one too, the Lord where he had triumphed gloriously, the
-
horse and his rider, and they grow into the sea. The Lord is
-
my strength, and the soul in song he is become my salvation. He
-
is my God. I thought, maybe maybe they sang the song of King
-
David. I ain't in casing me on the Lord cline, none of it.
-
He heard my crime. He brought me up astle, and I'm a
-
horrible pit out of the mirin play, set my field a rock, established
-
my clothes, and put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto
-
our God. And I saint begin to sing praises to the God. To
-
God. The Bible says, suddenly, that was a great earthquake and the
-
foundations of the prison were shaken, and everyone's banned for losing. That's where
-
I want to I want to preach for just a few more minutes tonight.
-
And God gave me this right here. And when your trouble turns to rouble,
-
God gonna turn your trouble or you ain't get it. I said,
-
when your trouble turns to robla mar your life turning nothing, God gonna take
-
your trial that's facing turn that to nothing, out loud and nothing. They
-
called point silence pray and sing praises to God him the midnight. Because I
-
showed up and didn't having their praises. He shook the prison and destroyed the
-
vands. He broke the chains. And if anyone has a situation tonight that
-
you can't seem to get through, why don't you try what pot Silence tried.
-
I can't work pretty good for them. I believe the Bible. I
-
believe the Bible. I ben't even it is true. I bet even work
-
pretty good for them. And said they begin to same, they begin to
-
pray good change for loose. You throw up your hands and give God a
-
praise, and see if He don't have happit your praises, just as he
-
did a call with sciences. And this wasn't the first time. I'm gonna
-
move quickly. This wasn't the first time that they caught his loose change for
-
his children. And the short isn't gonna be the last. And then shore
-
ain't the only time we have testimonies of broken change in our lives that would
-
take hours to tell. All the praise and glory goes to God. As
-
I studied, my mind went back to chapter twelve of the same book,
-
chapter of the Book of Acts. And Peter therefore was kept in prison.
-
Book prayer was made without ceasing of the Church under God for him, and
-
when Herod would have brought him up, brought him forth. The same night
-
Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and the keeper
-
before the door kept the prison, and behold the Angel of the Lord came
-
upon him, and the lights shame in the prison. And he spoke Peter
-
on the side and raised him book, saying anna, rise up quickly,
-
and his chain fell off from his hands. The angel said under him,
-
guard thyself and buy hold thy sandals. And so he did, and he
-
saith under him, cast thy garment about them, and followed me. And
-
he went out and followed him and whist not that it was true, which
-
was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. And we
-
can read in verse number eighteen that there was no this is now as soon
-
as it was day, there was no small store among the soldiers. Well,
-
I tell you some some soldiers turned a little prison upside down looking for
-
that man upond. Hey, hey, hey, I'm telling you. Maybe
-
the soldiers were talking one with another. Hey, I thought you I thought
-
you locked him up. I thought you had his pants tighter. I thought
-
you had his praise. I thought I thought you are his soul. I
-
thought you locked them up dead. Well, they said they ain't gonna happened
-
to him, And I'm gonna happened one day with the Lord team into my
-
life, and the d I thought he had me. He walked in a
-
room one dance, and where he go? I said, where they gone?
-
Yea in my sist of Alice, Yeah, it is the money raised
-
the outside of the prisons. And I got something the backing ball. The
-
only evidence but Peter ever read in that prison, I said, the only
-
evidence of Peter ever been in that prison. On a pole fucking chains,
-
I sat up the saints, I set the only evidence. The soldiers turned
-
to place upside down? Where did he go? Oh? We gotted these
-
change and used to brag the god burners change in the rouble nothing for I
-
want to tell you tonight. Then God will take your situation and it's truthless
-
that you have no way to control, and he will take your trouble and
-
turn into rubble. He will make it just the memory on the way it
-
once was, but it isn't anymore. As I study, I just began
-
to think about all the situations of my close friends in here and night there,
-
and I could just name off where God turned change that nothing but broken
-
things lying on the ground, and whenever he made it just a misery on
-
the way in your stuffing. God made Jericho walls that stood so calm with
-
such a hindrance to the israelife just crumbled a nothing but rubble. It wasn't
-
even hard from the waf across you. The Bible said it fell flat.
-
We're looking up these walls one minute. How are they gonna do it?
-
God makes some crumbling. Just walk across like it's nothing. It wasn't even
-
bumping. And if you have walls or something standing in your way, that's
-
beyond your control of your power to change. I come to night to tell
-
you that if you will turn it over to God and trust him, he'll
-
take care of it. Right now, there is some folks in this building.
-
There's some change any round if they have abound tight and you can't that
-
like they don't. But if you'll get it to the chain breaker, I
-
said, if you'll get it to the chain breaker, to destroy her is
-
here? The spirit of God is in this place. Let's let God handle
-
it. You've got something you can't change. You've tried everything you can and
-
there's nothing you can do about it. Just give it a God. Just
-
trust him. You'll do the risk. Just pick up a priest and my
-
calling, sis, dear, just try it one time. Have you ever
-
tried it? I'm trying it works. I said, right here, there's
-
some change on the ground. I said, all right, here's the change.
-
Marri you chansing tonight, Marri you changing tonight. Let's just give around
-
the front right now. Come on, come on, brother away head lay
-
that chanel right there in front of the pool to somebody might need to pick
-
that up and obey the lawn sisters, Come on over, brothers, come
-
on over. Let's just praise the Lord, hey, mad, Praise the
-
Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Go ahead, he praising
-
God. I spoke out of here tonight. Just go ahead and praising.
-
But God times your trouble in the rubble plays the Lord. He's doing just
-
that right now, Say Lord, my days have been full of trouble.
-
Only you know about this Lord, and I believe we're gonna turn it into
-
rubble right now, Did you do that? I'll tell you how I feel.
-
Pray for that person standing next to you. Would you pray for that
-
person standing next to you? Pray one for another? Right now? There
-
could be a spiritual placing and right here walls falling flat, chains follow up?
-
Yeah, I slipt, God turns out, stroll the liver rubble plays
-
coming the public quickly, the suvival crazes or choice and a prison. Go
-
ahead and rejoice. If you don't rejoice, the enemy will rejoice. Remember
-
what the man said, rejoice that it gets me by enemy, for I
-
shall arise. I'm don't go ahead and rejoice tonight so that my enemy doesn't
-
rejoice. Y'all know what problem of silence was doing in the prison. They
-
were rejoicing at the difficult times. You know what the tunity is where we're
-
doing outside of the walls of Jericho. They were rejoicing because they knew this
-
day something's different. We're not hunching around one time. Jostle one knows what
-
he knows. We're gonna go around seven times? Is that what the Bible
-
said? Don't we know what we know here to not? Don't we feel
-
what we feel here tonight? Can y'all feel that earthquaking? You need your
-
feet? Somebody said, alf feeling in my soul? You know what good
-
is? That's flesh, that's earth. God cussed you out of the earth,
-
out of the destin around. How do you know that what you're feeling
-
inside it's not that earthquake that earthquake right out trumble being turned the rubber.
-
That's right, girl, I'm go ahead, crazy, just before ahead crazy
-
row Yes, rejoice in the law not here tonight. Perhaps that's what Paul
-
and Silence we're doing. It's that parent ald heil, rejoice and greatly at
-
bout Y'ALLU crass a little one he man, ain't ben, ain't been any
-
can't any been. I'll tell you what I feel like. There's a devil
-
book and some people in here till lie. That's what I feel. I
-
know we have worked these preachers mighty heart already. But brother Jesse, if
-
you get on that piano, Brother Nathaniel, if you get on that guitar,
-
sister hand, if you get up here to sing, maybe your brother
-
came the help for sing. I want to sing the old Kentucky song.
-
Satan, take your hands off my church, safe, Take your hands off
-
my family. It goes on to say, I want to make it clear,
-
you ain't got no power here, Satan, take your hands off my
-
church. I don't know how y'all want to sing for y'all don't want to
-
sing, sat. Take your hand off my husband safe, Take your hand
-
off my wife safe, take your hand off my kidness safe, Take your
-
hand off my church. Safe, Take your hand off my mind. I
-
don't know how they're gonna sing it, but you sing it the way you
-
want to sing it right here any time, Come home down, resisted them
-
home less the devil. Let's make it clear that the devil has been evicted,
-
the devil hast. Let's all just take it together. Boy, take
-
my hand, Let you take my hands on my friend, make it take
-
ain't you take? Make it clear kind can't take take my brother sake.
-
I make it here on my son, take my, my, my faus,
-
my king, my my, my, about to take my sake,
-
my your my, my time, my mind, my yeah, my mind,
-
my shore. When he had made um I taking what Bolas pray
