  1. If you have that golden tax. Proverbs, chapter number twenty one, verse

  2. number fifteen. Say a man, all right, brother Nathaniel, would you

  3. read that verse of scripture First John, chapter number five and verse number three,

  4. For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments, and

  5. his commandments are not grievous. How many of you believe that that keeping the

  6. Lord's commandments should not be grievous to the child of God, or to the

  7. righteous person, or for the just person. Keeping the commandments of God should

  8. be not a problem. Look at your neighbors, say, hey, neighbor,

  9. there's no problem in old know I can keep it. It's just easy.

  10. Oh, just easy to do, easy, easy, I could keep

  11. the commandments of God. Brother Nathan, to read that one more time.

  12. If you still have it, that's the word of God. Now if I

  13. say anything here tonight that's not of God or of the Word of God,

  14. then you could question it. But this is the word of God. Read

  15. it, brother Nathaniel. First John, Chaptain number five, verse number three,

  16. where this is the love of God that we keep his commandments, and

  17. his commandments are not gruvious. So if you love the Lord, you will

  18. keep his commandments, and it will not grieve you to keep his commandments.

  19. Does everybody concur with that? Yes, we agree with the interpretation of what

  20. brother Nathanael just read. It doesn't matter whether we believe it or agree with

  21. it or not. It's true. God's word does not lie. It's a

  22. pleasure of mine to keep his commandments, all right, Brother Jesse. First

  23. Samuel, chapter number fifteen and verse number twenty two. Let's hear about a

  24. man who got the place where he didn't want to keep God's commandments. And

  25. Samuel said, after Lord, as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,

  26. as in obeying the voice of the Lord, behold. To obey is better

  27. than sacrifice, and to hearkened than the fat of rams. So the Prophet,

  28. if you will, the Preacher, the Prophet, if you will,

  29. the pastor the nation of Israel is rebuking the King of Israel, namely King

  30. Saul, the one specifically chosen by God when there was a change of form

  31. of government. The man that was called by God to lead the nation of

  32. Israel as king, is getting rebuked by the preacher. And that's what brother

  33. Jesse just read to us. And the preachers said, you ought to known

  34. to obey is better than the sacrifice and the hearken than the fat of realms.

  35. As King Saul being rebuked by the preacher. All right, let's stand

  36. for the reading of our golden text Proverbs, chapter number twenty one and verse

  37. number fifteen. The Bible said, it is joy to the just to do

  38. judgment, but destruction shall be to the workers of an iniquity. Is that

  39. not what brother Samuel just preach afid to us about. Let's pray, Heavenly

  40. Father, we love and we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity

  41. to come to your house. I thank you for the way the Holy Ghost

  42. has moved in this service tonight. I do thank you, Lord, that

  43. you have blessed this thy people. I pray that you would anoint this thy

  44. servants set of God and my mouth, and help me to say the things

  45. that you would have me to say, nothing more or less. Anoint the

  46. ears of this thy people, that they might hear what it is the Spirit

  47. of God has said to this people tonight through this preach word, not through

  48. my words, but by your words. God. I pray that these sayings

  49. would go below the shoulders may they get into that heart and that spirit.

  50. God, I pray let it be in this mind help of Lord, and

  51. not be hearers only, but doers help of not to find it grievous to

  52. keep your commandments. And may we depart this place joyfully and not so playing.

  53. The church said Amen, as there being seated, Brother Tyler reach over

  54. there, and grand brother Dilon by the wrist, say hey, neighbor,

  55. would you mind if I twist your wrist or our brother Dilon. I want

  56. you to say, of course, I'll mind. Stupid, say stop twisting

  57. my arm. I want to preach a servant the Holy Girl's title, Ouch,

  58. stop twisting my arm. I heard a little child tell his mother this

  59. about three weeks ago. They were in a department store. The child was

  60. being disorderly and unruly, and the mother, in order to literally take control

  61. of the situation, she wrapped that strong hand around that little child's wrist and

  62. begin to twist it, and that little child went out, mommy, stop

  63. twisting my arm. And immediately this sermon was birthed in my musom. The

  64. Holy ghost began to move on me and brought this scripture out to my attention.

  65. As I was reading the Bible. Our text is found in an Old

  66. Testament book of the Holy Bible. The Book of Proverbs is a very special

  67. book of the Bible to me personally. I have tried to be a student

  68. of this book for many years. I must admit that I am not a

  69. master of this particular book of the Bible, because its author is the wisest

  70. man outside of Jesus Christ to have ever lived upon God's planet, our earth.

  71. I'm telling you I would be a fool to stand before you tonight and

  72. say that I have the mastery of this particular book of the Bible. But

  73. there is no doubt there was a master mind that had been anointed and gifted

  74. by God to put in the parchment and give us this precious book of the

  75. Bible. After my conversion, when I was selling us an old Bible,

  76. the Lord about I say, I still am. But one of the things

  77. that the Holy Ghost instructed me to do was to read this Book of Proverbs

  78. over and over again, because God had promised us in his word that if

  79. any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men

  80. liberally and the greatest nod. When Sister how and I were young converts,

  81. new Christians. If you would, Sister Howard would pray a lot of times

  82. for me, and she would say, God give him a wisdom beyond that

  83. of Daniel of Old. I know that I have not surpassed Daniel of Old

  84. and wisdom, and I know that I have not surpassed Solomon of Old in

  85. wisdom. But I do consider myself to be a student of the Book of

  86. Proverbs. There's a lot of wonderful verses in this Bible. I must admit,

  87. though, that the Book of Proverbs has always been fascinating to me.

  88. But Brother Tyler, in all of these years of reading, I've never really

  89. spent paid any close attention to Proverbs chapter number twenty one, in verse number

  90. fifteen. That is our golden texts. Tonight, will you look a little

  91. closer at the first A half of that scripture went over a lot of people's

  92. heads, just like you have mine. All of these years I've been a

  93. student of the Book of Proverbs. If you're not careful, this sermon will

  94. go right over your head. But I'm gonna try to preach it in such

  95. a way that you will get the message that the Holy Ghost gain to me.

  96. To give to you. So notice in that scripture, our gold and

  97. text, Proverbs twenty one and fifteen, there are three words that begin with

  98. the letter jay. Do you see them? They are as follows, joy,

  99. just, and judgment. Now read that first part of that text.

  100. Allowed with me. It is joy to the just to new judgment. Repeat

  101. that again, it is joy to the just to new judgment. Now I

  102. believe you can memorize that before the end of the service. If you had

  103. a mind too. You're not getting this. I can tell you're thinking,

  104. but you're not getting it. I pray that the Lord will help you.

  105. As you look at me and ask this question, what do you mean,

  106. pastor by this? What do you mean? What does that mean? Okay,

  107. thank you for asking the just or the righteous person roll. They don't

  108. need their arm twisted to do the right thing. As I begin to do

  109. a word study on this word just, I saw that that means a righteous

  110. person. As I did a word study on judgment, sister wrote, cap

  111. it meant justice being for doing what is right. Then, everybody in this

  112. building, I have to know the definition of the word of joy. You

  113. don't need a word study to know the meaning of the word joy. Do

  114. you know it's to delight or have pleasure in something. So the just or

  115. the righteous person who do not have to have their arm twisted to do the

  116. right thing. You see, the devil has to be forced to go to

  117. hell. God is going to twist his arm and damn him into the eternal

  118. lake of fire forever. There's some of you children. You know is good

  119. as I do that your mother has to twist your art in order to get

  120. you to do your school work. Unfortunately, there might be a person in

  121. this building that is the employee of some employer somewhere in town or over the

  122. neighboring town Fort Myers. And your employer knows as sure as he shows up

  123. for work in the morning, he will have to twist your r to get

  124. you to turn loose of that cup of copy and begin to work. And

  125. so I want you to know that the devil cannot do the right thing.

  126. Oh, come on down, the child of God. He should not have

  127. to be forced to do the right thing. In fact, I could be

  128. done with this servant right now if that was not somebody in this building whom

  129. God has been trying to twist your r and that to get you to do

  130. that which is right. You see that somebody like Sister Wounding that would say,

  131. as opting as she does, it is my pleasure to do whatsoever my

  132. Master bends me to do. There's ficionaries in this building that have went overseas

  133. this year and preached it. It is my pleasure to do what God wants

  134. me to do. And so the people of God they delight in doing what

  135. is right. That come on now, you hold timers are familiar with that

  136. phrase. Don't twist my arm to twist somebody's armies to use and direct personal

  137. pressure in order to achieve a designer in now want to stare at when you

  138. go stand out in front of plant parenthood, or in front of any society

  139. as a whole, and you begin to preach, there is a class by

  140. the contrast between life and darkness, cool and evil darkness. Please from the

  141. light. And unbelievers and disobedient people feel are comfortable with preachers like you better

  142. staring preachers of a righteousness when you begin to preach to them and turn the

  143. light on if they do not prest the sin and go and send the more,

  144. as Mother Nathaniel told by the Jority to do after he apologized to me,

  145. and they're gonna Taniel better. Nathaniel said, that's good, but go

  146. and sin there more. You see Bee staring at these people, do not

  147. persae. They're sin and turning to God. Every time they feel their preacher

  148. preaching, they feel like their preacher it's twisting their arm. That's father say

  149. things like this to myself, don't judge, who are you the preacher?

  150. To me? They feel like you are twisting their art. But we should

  151. have never got to that place, at that point where that person were concerning

  152. the things of God, the places of cold people in coming and the word

  153. of Connessan never have to be a time where a preacher it's twisting somebody's already

  154. service after service because oh, holding us is twisting somebody's arm time and idead

  155. trying to get them to do what God told him to do. It's very

  156. grievous for the church family to have to endure this. That little girl having

  157. her arm twisted in that manner was very upsetting for some that were standing nearby.

  158. The outlookers that were observing that situation, They did not appreciate the fact

  159. that this girl could only be subdued by her mother getting a firm grip on

  160. that young girl and motivating her and taking control and making that little girl act

  161. appropriately. I'm looking at some of these young men over here on my ride,

  162. and if you were to speak to these young men, they were admit

  163. that you do not have to twist their arm when it comes up to taking

  164. a trip to the bakery. My little grand baby Micah was writing with me

  165. and his papa brother Daddy the other day, and after a while he said,

  166. Papa, there's the dairy queen. I drove by the daddy queen.

  167. That son liked me because I had heard his daddy's saying, Micah, you

  168. were not good at such and such a time, and we're just gonna pass

  169. you by. We're gonna say goodbye to dairy queen, and you're not gonna

  170. get an ice cream. And then when his daddy said, we're all gonna

  171. get born and you're not gonna get one because you're asking Papa so much.

  172. When Grandpa rose up in me and I said, you know what, if

  173. he can't have one, none of us can have an ice cream? Could

  174. a church saying ma'am. And then we got closer to McDonald's and he said,

  175. well, Papa, they served ice cream at McDonald's and I said,

  176. not today, Papa's gotta get home, and we headed on to the house.

  177. But when it comes to he's been over here's wives and their mother's cooking.

  178. I'm telling you you don't have to twist their arm to get down to

  179. belly up to the trial. Just a quick look. And Brother Samuel will

  180. tell you this. He married a woman and knows how to bake with the

  181. best of them. And Sister Megan, I doubt there's been a time when

  182. you've had to walk in there and twist Brother Samuel's arm and say, come

  183. on, bro man, let's go in there and eat what I have prepared

  184. for you. I believe the Brother Samuel's favorite dish that Sister Megan prepares for

  185. him, his pork chops, is that right there with all the fixings.

  186. If you were to look over here and none of Christian Wood. He talked

  187. about something called the Golden Rod. I have no idea in the world that

  188. golden rod he is. And he briefly tried to explain it to me a

  189. while backer, and he said, it's kind of an egg cream saucer that

  190. you just spill over toast, and he said, this is the favorite thing

  191. that my mother makes. He Brother Christian, I guess if I was to

  192. make some golden rod, I probably would not have to twist your arm to

  193. come to my house. If you were to look at mother Philip over here,

  194. and you'd ask whether, Philipp, what is the favorite thing your mother

  195. makes her? I know the answer. It's porn ros fits. Mother is

  196. saturated in Hey, what is it? Mojo? Saucer mojo? Right,

  197. Brother Philip loves that. He's smiling right now. Sister, how over the

  198. years you've had to twist his arm to getting to take out the trasher.

  199. But when it comes to that port moaster or he ain't gonna twister. He's

  200. got my creatured to you. Look over here, Mother, can't you're looking

  201. so innocent. When sister Rachel comes outside with that cold glass of ice tea's

  202. been working on the church bower for the fifty time in the last month.

  203. Because of the way some of you guys treat it, I'm sure she doesn't

  204. have to twist whether Nathaniel's are to get here to treat of that ice cold

  205. sweet tea. Once she brings you a Friday chicken leg with it in barbecue

  206. sauce. That's probably the favorite thing she makes, right, your favorite things?

  207. She makes this chicken legs that have been barbecue Tylaton, watch the hen

  208. house. If we get a bunch of legless chickens and hens over there,

  209. we got three hundred and fifty. There's a lot of a chicken. A

  210. seven hundred chicken lead trumpsticks in that pend that Rachel could make her for brother

  211. Nathaniel. What about Sister Iris. They'll never be a time when she's got

  212. to twist Brother Tyler's arm and get Mother Tyler to come down there needs that

  213. wonderful meal or sister who mass prepared for him? I thought about brother Chessie.

  214. He also said his favorite meal that his wife makes him his pride a

  215. part to chops. He lives only sit back and cheese mask fanteens Christian Rosa,

  216. and then he talks it off with a cheesecake says to me like,

  217. brother Chessie's got it Nade because his wife's serving up good things. Are you

  218. starting to get what I'm talking about? Everything that goncerns up his cook to

  219. order and the vin order. I'm telling you every word, how in this

  220. vible is a card. Every sentence that with every word in its own car

  221. every verse of every chapter, every chapter of every book, all scripture has

  222. been given by car. It's profitable. I'm telling you it will be a

  223. blessing. Tell your soul. Then, why in the world you have to

  224. preach it repeatedly, over and over again and say this? It's like God

  225. a servant. This is what God said, This is what Tod deens to

  226. be good for you. But if you don't do what God tells you to

  227. do, it won't be much longer. You'll be saying out, stop twisting

  228. my heart, and pretty soon you hate the preacher. You hate the teacher,

  229. you hate the parents, you dislike the elder, you dislike the husband

  230. and the wife. Stop twisting my heart, preacher, Why are you preaching

  231. to me? Peter could have said the same thing to Jesus. Are you

  232. picking on me? Or come on now? I want to preach to somebody

  233. in this building tonight. If you call yourself a just person, you will

  234. be a fair person, chest person. You would do the right thing when

  235. folk are watching her, and when nobody is watching. Just people. If

  236. it's chosen, primp, it's Paul. Just people that delight in doing right.

  237. He's right trum of me the morning forgot to our text her in his

  238. joy for the just to do churchmen. Or come on now, a chest

  239. person in joys her pure satisfaction after they appearing will be the low I said,

  240. there's nothing, but I satisfied. That's going. You can let God

  241. has told you to dona ghost. John chapter number five, verse number three

  242. said, and this is the love of God that we keep his commandments,

  243. and his commandments are not grievous. Can a person have true joy without being

  244. obedient unto the Lord? Answer that question? Answer that question, Ask your

  245. neighbor that question. Can a person have true joy without being obedient to the

  246. Lord? Absolutely not. I remember, prior to my conversion, I was

  247. miserable because I knew what the Bible has said. I knew what the Lad

  248. wanted to require me that I was unwilling to be obedient. Hey, answer

  249. this question. Can a person have perfect peace and paste all understanding while transgressing

  250. the commandments of God? No? Can a person love God without doing the

  251. things that God has told us to do? Well? Come on, I

  252. remember being uneasy. Look, I remember being uncomfortable when the preacher preached toy,

  253. but that was prior to Mark. The answered all these questions is a

  254. resounding no. If the apostle child that knew the love better than anybody,

  255. he didn apid loving Tod and keeping his commandments and has to be spurned,

  256. he an't take heether and walking shot outside him in harmony. The apostle child

  257. identifiment he loved me caught and they're keeping his commandments has been the same thing.

  258. In other words, as Christians, we are expected to believe in Jesus

  259. Christ, are we not? We are to love one another, are we

  260. not? And we're expected to keep his commandments if we love him, keeping

  261. his commandments should not be a problem. May I beg for an amen?

  262. I love to hear crickets preach. You should not feel like somebody's twisting your

  263. heart. But that's why trying to twist you all. This shall not ever

  264. be a problem with any child of God. Unfortunately, there comes to be

  265. a time in somebody's life when they have to make a choice, will I

  266. obey God or will I be disobedient. It's unfortunate that King Saul, that

  267. had been chosen by the Lord to lead the nation of Israel decided to meet

  268. disobedient because the road captain is unfortunate that he decided that obedience to the Lord

  269. was something that he did not find important to do. Did y'all catch that

  270. it's unfortunate that the new reappointed by God, King of Israel has come to

  271. a place where it feels like where God has taught him to do. It's

  272. not something important to do, and that's why we find him. For Samuel,

  273. chapter number fifteen and most number twenty two, the preacher of the pastor

  274. the prophet Scheriel, came to Saul. He said, have the Lord has

  275. strength, delights in offerings and sacrifices as in unpening the voice of the Lord.

  276. You can send me a song that on spotify that bless us my soul.

  277. Hey, but your sacrifice and your offering will not be nearly Hey,

  278. how sweet as me know it, my children said the Lord the true don

  279. gratjoy. Don't know that, my children who walk in truth. Come on

  280. now, Beth. And Samuel goes on to say, and sacrifices as in

  281. obeying the voice of the Lord. We know these are the words of God.

  282. We know the preacher when he is preaching is preaching as the oracle of

  283. God. And Samuel goes on to say, behold, boy, listen and

  284. parapraise I. But he just says, behold, to obey is better than

  285. the sacrifice, and the hearken than the pad of a rims. You know

  286. what happened to soul. He bent up on the spirit of pride. And

  287. when he bit up on the spirit of pride and set a hook in his

  288. jaw and took control of him. And because of the spirit of pride that

  289. had possessed King Saul, he thought he knew better that the letter, and

  290. he knew Lord than God's prophets. So he thought. And there is a

  291. reason for Samuel saying that to abrading is better than to sacrificer, because every

  292. time Saul got repute to tastised off the preacher, he threw a spoke grenade.

  293. I see it when you put that grenae into your mouth and pulled apart

  294. and toss it into the church and create a snake screen. Saul I had

  295. done with the same that the pod that because Samuel tempted number thirteen, the

  296. Lord had told that they could offer sacrificer through the propert Samuel and mcbasa and

  297. numbers three thousand soldiers there. This has come of the memory right now three

  298. thousand soldiers said, are they watching the Philistine army? Crow bigger? It's

  299. piling on. But I Jes said, by the day, and they get

  300. more outnumbered. By the hour, that get more outnumbered. And the Bible

  301. said the saulce army began to be depleted. And the minutes from three thousand

  302. to six hundred, Samuel had said, God said, after seven days,

  303. I will be beat you and kill gall. You know what Sung did on

  304. the seventh day, when it appeared that God had made later and that Samuel

  305. was running later, Saul put on the priestly garment. He left his keenly

  306. shifter in his hand. He kept on his keenly crowd and don a chair.

  307. How he done the unthinkable and the art imagine the boy and he offered

  308. a sacrifice. You'll talk about that. You're talking about how get that feel

  309. to be? Went just said out of field, and I had a pressure

  310. and people he did the unthink, come on, the army is getting down

  311. to six hundred. I gotta do something. I gotta do something. No,

  312. you don't have to do the wrong thing. Well, I did the

  313. wrong thing because I had to do something. No, when you find yourself

  314. about to hit the panic, but like Saul was doing, you cannot do

  315. like pagan kings do. They say, I am going to oper and offering

  316. unworthily saw us Dutch your place. It's Dutch your position. It's done in

  317. your power to do so. And as soon as Saul did that, he's

  318. in the middle of opering the sacrifice. You tell me Samuel was late.

  319. He's in the middle of opering the sacrifice. And Samuel shows up. Who

  320. right in the middle of that? Seeing who right in that midweek service when

  321. you thought you could do wrong and get by sending the preacher shows up used

  322. play at church? You to offer a sacer pasture. He'll come home now

  323. that Salt gets caught redheaded, I said, Salt Dot called who don't had

  324. it and saved us? Said Saul, he knew better than this, and

  325. pat to seven or seven. He played the fool who should have never gone.

  326. Yes, say Saul, your two pigs from your preachers. Saulve w

  327. you feel like you can do save those job. I know we got the

  328. victory over some of this this morning, but it is a spirit of pride,

  329. and there are a mean excuses that somebody like Samuel Saul can give.

  330. Samuel Saul was selfish. Saul desire to do things his way, and so

  331. he decided to just toss out the Lord's plans in the Lord's words. And

  332. I'm telling you that as a parallel to what is going on in the church

  333. world today. Pastors and parishioners in these bothered churches are deciding to toss the

  334. Lord's words out, and they're still offering sacrifices on Sunday morning, Sunday night,

  335. and getting week. But there's scripture here that they're ignoring. I come

  336. on to. At some point his life, Saul decided I can be disobedient.

  337. It was his choice to do so. But then we see that it

  338. was a horrible choice that brought with it difficult consequences for Keing Saul and his

  339. family. Simply put, King Saul was a rebel. He was not a

  340. just man anymore. It is joy for the just to do judgment Brother stirred.

  341. So Keith Saul is no longer that lonely hurt boy that's chasing after his

  342. father's mules and his donkeys and the one that's hiding in the baggage. This

  343. is not the one that Samuels we put over and praying over and pouring the

  344. hot hole over and saying, praise the Lord. He's got a new heart.

  345. He's turned into another man. This is no longer a just fan than

  346. everybody said. Is he not among the prophets? Oh? Yes, they

  347. will see enough Saul last week. But God sami enough say that. He's

  348. said, you're a rebel. And that's what God says to every professor Christian

  349. claims to be a child at cod and tosses out the words of God.

  350. I want to preach to you tonight, simple put King Saul, who had

  351. been just as now a rebel, he wasn't a just man anymore, Brother

  352. j Something had happened to him. After the prophet saying you're made the declaration

  353. regarding obedience. He followed with exposing what was within the heart of this rebel

  354. with these blood chilling words he said, for rebellion is as to see it

  355. a witchcraft, as stubbornness, as a niclty in idelatry. Because now has

  356. rejected the Lord, the Lord, he had to also rejected deed for be

  357. to king because King Saw rechected the word of the Lord, his large ham

  358. not previous. It is the child to trust the new judgment. Because King

  359. Saul rejected the Lord of the Lord, because given by the preacher that was

  360. sent to him, he was ejected from the earthly and spiritual kingdoms where he

  361. had previously had residency. Because he rejected the word of God, he was

  362. ejected bill holdcast in his place. King Saw had developed a bad attitude.

  363. And that's what we've been dealing with. Attitude problems within our holiness of Pentecostal

  364. movements. People that feel like they can do role to get by. They

  365. feel like because they get blessed every now and then then a parent that God

  366. has stamped his approval on their disso Bean, that's I'm feeling a really strong

  367. anawning upon me right now. You see solved and a bad attitude. He's

  368. no longer that one hiding in the baggage. He's no longer that when this

  369. middler than everybody. Now he's thinking too highly of himself and he finds himself

  370. ejected out of the wind of God. In the same way a fighter pilot

  371. that is in distress, he is he checked it from the cockpit of an

  372. aircraft that is firaling downward. Just just certainly has that pilot wasn't checked that

  373. up, can't save punched himself. He checked it out of the grid a

  374. cock I want you to know when the spirit of God fullsa tattoo from your

  375. lover, and he checks you from his garby, and he checks you from

  376. his grates, and he checks you from his wheel, it is the befall

  377. removed from the annoting solve. If you continue to see it, grace,

  378. we'll not always belt. I feel holy because his attitude got him ejected out

  379. of the will of God. There was a time in King Saul's eyes he

  380. was small. There was a time in King Saul's life when his attitude was

  381. right because his heart was right. There was a time that his heart had

  382. been transformed. There was a time that his spirit had been renewed. But

  383. now something has changed. And Brother Samuel, you did not know what was

  384. in my notes. But as for Saul, the scripture that says destruction shall

  385. be to the workers of iniquity has suddenly become true and prophetic. In the

  386. life of Saul. Destructions shall be to the workers of iniquity because it is

  387. no longer toy for dismand to new judgment. Why why not? Because he

  388. is not just anymore. A rebel has own desire to obey anyone. A

  389. rebel has no desire or whatsoever to unbeil the Lord. A rebel has been

  390. desired to obey the comparison demands of an authority. As Christians said, we

  391. must reject the attitude and the spirit of keep Saul. As Christians said,

  392. we should not have to have some preach or twister our iron coach tempt he

  393. earned a MODI day, I saw comperfectly, and I don't pay the Lord.

  394. It ought to be a joy to do what concept do. I said.

  395. It ought to be a choy to do what card has told us today.

  396. Ever since I got saved, I've had no problem at all going to

  397. church. I've never been tempted to lay out of church. I've never been

  398. tempted to mis church. I've never been tempted to see. I mean,

  399. I've been tempted to sin, But I've never took pleasure in sitting. Are

  400. y'all said the pastor for the Christian and his joy for the justice A new

  401. judgment? What is wrong with these People's sister Tracy asked me recently, what

  402. is wrong with these people? Do they need a here name? What is

  403. wrong with these people? Why do they have to be repeatedly told the same

  404. thing over and over again? Because they love God? The Bible said,

  405. if we love God, we'll keep his commandments. Well, preacher, they

  406. love God? Do you really want to have that deep into their life?

  407. About a six hour experience? Was the person we're thinking of right now that

  408. professes to be a Christian will prove to you they do not love God,

  409. they don't love his commandments. I guarantee you the one you're thinking of right

  410. now that professes to be a Christian words like the devil. You cannot live

  411. like the devils six days a week and shout like an angel on Sunday?

  412. Brothers, every moile, are you praying for me? Back there? And

  413. the New test Tom and we find the apostle Paul that have been greatly converted.

  414. We find him righting to those that be in wrong, beloved of God,

  415. called to be saints, not sinners. It's not an honor for all

  416. these Christians to be going around saying I'm a sinner now we're called to be

  417. saints. We're calling to be different. I know you've been lied to,

  418. and that's why, Apostle Paul asked the group back then, who hath bewitched

  419. you? Who's lied to you? Who's deceived you? Apostle Paul, writing

  420. to the Roman Church, said to those that are belonging to God, are

  421. calling you to be saints. In Roman seven to twenty two, he said,

  422. for I delight in the law of God after the inward of man.

  423. For I delight in the law of God after the inward of man. The

  424. chest mans, if we put in joye, oh be, and the Lord

  425. keep so no longer in joy o, being the Lord who has Samuel saying

  426. it, it's better Howl saying it. If it's God's word, then it's

  427. God's saying yeah, I'm better. How they'll say it, that's him.

  428. It's not Mother road Cat's words. And he teachers that he is God's words.

  429. But at one time, brother Jesse, he just couldn't wait to obey

  430. the Lord. I just can't wait to do what the spirit of God has

  431. been bidding me to do. Brother road Cat taught recently on a Sunday morning

  432. that Christians have a mind to work, and I want you to know that

  433. is true. But Christians also have a mind and a heart that is ready

  434. to obey God. They have a heart and a mind that is ready to

  435. obey God. It is true that most of us at some point did not

  436. know everything we know today about God and about the Scripture. But when we

  437. ran across it. I will be honest with you. I pulled out a

  438. highlighter and highlighted that, and I underlined it, and I said, you

  439. know what, that is the word of God, and I need to keep

  440. his commandments that I need to make these changes in my life in order to

  441. align myself with the will of God. His word will allign us with his

  442. will. I know we shouted for about an hour, real strong before I

  443. preach, so I can't expect you to get shouting happy tonight. Tonight we

  444. listen. The Lord's words are to be heeded. They're not to be heard

  445. only. We're not to be hearers of the word only, but we are

  446. to be doers. We hear the word and we heed it. We don't

  447. do it begrudgingly. It's not grievous, but the tyler it might be grievous

  448. for your grandmother, said Tyler, take out the trash. But it ought

  449. to be as joyous of an occasion for you to take out the trash for

  450. your grandmother. This is profound right here, y'all, y'all, and I'm

  451. trying to be funny, but brother Tyler, you ought to be just as

  452. the joyous of an occasion for you to take the trash out for your grandmother

  453. as it is the belly up to pancakes with homemade blueberry topping. And that's

  454. how we Christians are. We all praise the Lord. I've got that problem

  455. with that limit clapped my hands out, or anybody else in the church pause

  456. shouting of God with the voice of trial, pancakes and woodman and tumping.

  457. But when God says, put it off, When God says, God touches

  458. put God said, leave it alone. Hey it all of it? Siscola

  459. towards occasion? Could God says cold husband, God says direct, I was

  460. obedient to the heaven of colon the apostle, Paul said, you know what

  461. happened, brother Gabriel. Oh Samuel came to Saul and he said, boy,

  462. you heard me, but you didn't heed every person in this building,

  463. every person that's ever sent under a pastor, preacher, a teacher, they

  464. have heard the word of God preach. Some of have heard more the word

  465. of God preach than others. But Saul lost his peace of mind when he

  466. no longer enjoyed keeping the Lord's commandments, when he found keeping them grievous and

  467. burdensome. He lost his joy. It's a true joy for me to be

  468. here tonight, Saul. You no longer have a new heart? Why,

  469. Saul, why is that heart no longer ten? Why does the preacher have

  470. to preeps like he does? Why do they have to pull like they're pulling?

  471. Why do they have to push? Why is it not your to might

  472. to do the will of God? What happens, Saul? Friend? What

  473. happened to cause you not to be excited about rolling out of bed in the

  474. morning and prayer? Friend? What caused you to lose your prayers are in

  475. your joy of weeping in your living room until your tears fall into a puddles?

  476. What the young preacher said tonight? What caused you to lose your joy

  477. in that? Let's stand tonight, Saul? What happened a postle Paul said,

  478. the things that I used to love, I now hate. The things

  479. I used to hate I now love. Brother Jesse, I've seen that come

  480. to be true in your life. And the sad thing about it is,

  481. Saul, there will come a time when Samuel will stop twisting your arms.

  482. First King's chapter number thirteen, Samuel showed up and said, saw, you

  483. know you shouldn't have done this. In First Samuel, chapter number fifteen,

  484. the Bible said, Samuel showed up, said, saw you should have done

  485. this. I hear the bleeding of the sheep, bring a gag the King

  486. of Amulet to me. And the Bible said that Samuel took him down.

  487. And it doesn't say this, but in my mind's eye, I could almost

  488. see Samuel want to twist Saul's arm and take his own sword, Saul's own

  489. sword out of the Scamford. Give me your sword, boy. This is

  490. a sword, It is the sword of the Lord. It is by this

  491. book we win victories. It is by this book we are victors and not

  492. victims. And brothers stared. I can't find it in the Bible, but

  493. when I get to Heaven, I'm going to ask the prophet sam And I've

  494. leaved. God will allow me to ask him. I'm gonna say, did

  495. you take Saul's sword out of the scampering and say I show you what you

  496. knew? But they gave the king of em and he yewed a gang to

  497. pieces. What sad is Saul stood there and let him do it. I

  498. found in the Bible where another prophet said, if you'd took them arrows and

  499. just kept shot, I feel like Gosh wrote to me in my prayer closet,

  500. it'd been a lot better for us to read the sauce said, hold

  501. on, Sam, hold on, give me that sword. Samuel might have

  502. got one blow in, it might have got two. But it speaks volumes

  503. to me. When the Bible says Sam, when you do into pieces,

  504. that means every swan that was taken was by the preacher, Every effort was

  505. by the preacher. All of the force was by the preacher. I'm telling

  506. you, I'm a feeling the hold it ghost in this place. It is

  507. God for us to fight your battles or to cure your devils. Now,

  508. I'm telling you, young person, you ought to be in this altar right

  509. now, destroying some things. Like brother Samuel said with that liberty that has

  510. been in this building today, with the power of God that has been in

  511. this building today, you should have took the sulord out of the preacher's head

  512. and say, Preacher, you don't have to twist my arm anymore to pray,

  513. Preacher, the Holy Gost. Don't I have to speak in this fielding

  514. anymore to say seek me? I said, love to buy somebody to come

  515. to touch pacefully. I said, I could twist somebody's old You're more to

  516. pinnable at the breakfast table than you are tops table. Oh, I feel

  517. the horder ghost in this place. It ought to be our pleasure to please

  518. the Lord. He does I try for the chest to the judgments. Oh

  519. God, I can the Holy Ghost see in this place. Preacher, you

  520. don't have to twist my arm to get me to praise the Lord. Preacher,

  521. you don't have to twist my art to get me a seat cut there

  522. in the week, Preacher, when they start seeing this power in the blood,

  523. you don't I have to twist card. We don't have to have a

  524. drama team. We don't have to have a mod team. We don't have

  525. to have lights, we don't have to be entertained, we don't have to

  526. have our arms twisted. We don't have to have the pancake breakfast, We

  527. don't have to have a press pride to get people to come to church.

  528. Not people who love God, I said, not people who want cod.

  529. They're gonna be in the House of God. Whether we're have the pantcake breakfast

  530. or a nice free social or not. Oh my God, I feel negotiating

  531. this place. Brother twisted comes to the panel place. What if you're Samuel,

  532. stop speaking to you. The tragedy of this narrative is sam You're kept

  533. pleading, and Sam You're kept praying. Even after after Saul was ejected,

  534. Say you're kept prayed, sister. In other words, they kept having the

  535. same kind of service as we've been having for three weeks. Then came forth

  536. the message from God preacher Samuel, weep no more for Saul. In other

  537. words, God said, I heard you say, Alice, it should have

  538. never got to the place where I was twisting your arm. But if you

  539. want to say als every time we have the same message, preach, the

  540. same tongues and interpretation, the same moving of God, the same spirit,

  541. and you keep saying ouch at the while God says, you know you'll never

  542. swing your sword of victory again. This sermon right here is very critical for

  543. two young men in this building. God has delayed it for two and a

  544. half weeks, and I've known what he's done. This is going to be

  545. the nail and your spiritual confide. I knew it when he first gave it

  546. to me. You're saying, couch, stop twisting my arm. We've had

  547. to beg you to seek the Lord. It didn't matter if your brother got

  548. a mass it didn't move you. It didn't matter if your pastor was suffering

  549. his body, didn't matter if one of the elder sisters was afflicted. It

  550. didn't move you. That's what happens when you get a bad attitude solved.

  551. That's what happens when you become selfish. It's all about you. You're not

  552. your brother's keeper anymore. If I will said bear you want another's burden,

  553. it's a self all across out. That was hurtful. Brother Thomas Scarrett left

  554. me the most beautiful messages today, Just a sweet attitude, the sweet spirit.

  555. You standing back and saying, that's brother Starrett, that's such a great

  556. man of God's so honorable. You need to be that way. There's two

  557. young men in this building. This sermon will be the noun in your cond

  558. or. It will be the catalyst that turns your life around. You're thinking

  559. right now, well, there'll be a preacher up the road. It might

  560. even be you pastor that will pay something more palatable, something more pleasurable,

  561. something more entertaining for me, something more exciting. God's letting me know that

  562. will never come. It hasn't came yet. It's not gonna come. You

  563. have to get to the place where you say it is a joy to practice

  564. simple obedience. Obedience, sister Whoop, do you remember the Holy Ghost gave

  565. him a hint last Sunday night. She didn't know what I was going to

  566. preach, all obedience to obey. I want to ask us to bow our

  567. heads tonight. You've already went too far stall. You went past the shower,

  568. you went past the dynamics, you went past the Holy Ghost moving mightily

  569. earlier. Now we've cultured mid sacrifice. God wants to help you. It

  570. is a true joy to keep his communiens. Is a true joy to keep

  571. his communiens. I'm gonna say this. You have learned to let Samuel fight

  572. your battles. That displeases the Lord. M brother, yes you brother Nathan,

  573. You'll sing whatever's on your heart. God change me, Lord can change

  574. me. Lord, don't let me stay the same. I really do want

  575. to be more like your search me. Let it be my delight, Let

  576. it be my pleasure to do what is right. Times said I couldn't play

  577. out. I really start twisting my arm, and I recall the times you've

  578. took me. Do you mind there's one thing that I couldn't do. Shot.

  579. You see, we should have to twist it. We should have to

  580. twist draws. We should have to bake it. We should have to make

  581. it a different. We should have to speak the word or body. Oh

  582. Jesus, if you should speak it, I'll do it. You see in

  583. your word, I'll do it. Speak your word not to do day.

  584. So I know what you've told me to do. Aboard, I know where

  585. you sit there. See, how know what you expect to your heart?

  586. How told what you told me to give up? Here? I have a

  587. desire to obey. Look in some authority to speak to and you serve host

  588. goes. Tell us all Jesus speak, help us at all help a soft

  589. Jesus, help us hold you to speak. I com old young man,

  590. ers two of you in your techno, we want to strong you have.

  591. We just want to ask you why is it it's your pleasure you save?

  592. Oh go. Now there's been times that I've complained as I CROs against the

  593. grain. Then I recall the times you took me to my deans. But

  594. the one pain so I just distanks you, for it was you, Lord.

  595. Keep my cross to caw boy speak the word, my lord boy speak

  596. door ear long my party to so set. I'll be one. You have

  597. me ust me the world long and you servive will Yeah, you speak the

  598. fall tattle field where far me bin no, and that's where I lod the

  599. be oh in the desert without a three god some more she about the scene.

  600. Allow your just stream sweep the word low, my longing sweet word low

  601. my sweep me the low. I'll be one. You have me down,

  602. you stir down in time, said I complained, I like rooms against the

  603. greeting. I recalled the times you to be to mine. But there's one

  604. thing I so I saw these things to read, for it was you,

  605. Lord, answer my crawl to cowl read speak the word lord on my long

  606. good hear you mean the world long? My m e wordlone. How one

  607. he had streak the word lowe. Sturvin streak the world lowe. My ears

  608. came streak the word lowe. I speak the word lowe. How be you

  609. have me street the world you serve
