Divine favor is mine - Bro Jeremy Howell 12-17-2023

Rick, one of you in the House of the Lord tonight. There were

other places that you could have been this night, but you chose to be

here. We're glad you're here with us. We do miss Brother Nathaniel and

Sister Rachel and Sister Ruth. We are so thankful for the joyous occasion,

though for the reason why they are not here. How many of you know

a baby can change the world. Yes, the baby can change your world

too. How many of you know one baby can change your family, your

home situation. Two babies can change it more? And said to how and

I had six that can really change things. They can change their bedroom in

a moment. You can walk in there and think of tornado through there.

The old timers said that tornado tornado, Praise the Lord, Brother Nathaniel.

The Bible said too, other than one in the three fold cord is not

easily broken. Think about that. You've got three girls not easily broken.

What one doesn't think of the other two will? God has work cut out

for him. But they are precious. They're beautiful, adorable, cute,

all of the above. We miship, Brother Nathaniel, Sister Rachel, and

I thank God for a smooth even though it included as a Syrian section.

I thank God for a smooth delivery. We could have come all the way

back and could have faced some extreme difficulties similar to what they had experienced before.

But we're glad that the Lord is mindful of his children. I do

have a burden to preach to you two nine something. The Lord has set

a blaze in my being. I want to say that I was planning to

preach a Christmas message, but around four pm today the Lord began to deal

with my heart and we are turning and going in a complete different direction.

I do feel like I will preach the other message in the near future,

but I don't know that it will be tonight. At any point, I

have another burden for this service, so I'm glad you're here. We miss

those that are out. We miss sister Donna. She's been out visiting family

and also having some tests and treatments I believe done. We miss her.

We miss others sister Cheryl and brother Dwayne. We miss y'all as well.

They're out sick. She told me today. She said Pastor Duwayne is sick

too. I said, oh no, we're praying for him as well.

She said, I hate it when my nurse is sick he can't wait on

her hand and foot. I guess I guess she liked that. Sister Cheryl

and I know you're smiling right now, but we miss you too. We

miss the others that are not here tonight. If you have your Bibles,

will you turn with me to the Book of Firstchronicles. Does anybody recognize that

book of the Bible. I've been preaching some out of that book of the

Bible. You could usually tell that your pastor has been reading his Bible by

listening to his preaching, whoever that be. You can also tell what he's

thinking by listening to his preaching. You can also tell where he's spending his

time as he delves into the Word of God. By listening to his preaching,

you could get the mind of the Lord for that pastor and his congregation

by listening to the sermons. That's why it's always important that we listen very

carefully to what the Spirit is saying unto our local congregation. I'm thankful for

sermons that are sermons specific. I would like to share this with you.

Little Ruth Marie Howell was born last night at eleven thirty pm, after about

two hours of getting a mom and baby cleaned up and prepared for visitors.

My sister Howell had walked out having visited with Sister Rachel and sister Ruth,

and we would get leave and Sister Rachel called and she said, I'd like

for Papa to come back here and see me and Ruth. And so brother

Nathaniel came and got me and we went back there, and as soon as

I cleared the doorway, she said, Papa, She said, I had

been praying that the Lord would allow this pregnancy to go to thirty six weeks

because those of you that know sister Rachel, you know that she has a

tendency to go very early, and if the baby's a preemian, born too

or early, sometimes they had to go to nick you and she said,

they're in our revival. A couple of weeks ago. I knew that I

was in labor because I'm not a novice mother, I'm not an amateur mother.

I knew the symptoms of labor, and I know that to be true

because for the last baby, Renee, we got there only a couple of

hours before delivery, and I know she's very experienced of well seasoned in labor.

In fact, the only person I know that's ever beat her in that

Sister Leah. Sister Leah got to the hospital in eighteen minutes later we had

a baby. Was sister how It was always, well, you're going to

spend half the afternoon and all night there, But I knew Sister Rachel knew

what labor was about. When Brother Nathaniel told me she's headed to the hospital,

I knew that it was real. It was going to be on this

time. And so Sister Rachel was very concerned a couple of weeks ago that

things just we're gonna, you know, develop, and the baby wouldn't be

ready either would Mama, because Bama knew it was too early, and she

said she just began to pray them. While she was praying, she remembered

something I had told his people a couple months ago. When you pray,

be specific. When you pray, be specific. If you have a need

in your body, be specific about it. If you have a financial need,

be specific concerning that financial need. If it's helped with your mortgage payment,

put that before the Lord. You will remember there were great kings and

people in the Bible that put particular things and letters and situations before the Lord.

When Jesus told that man to stretch forth that withered hand, he was

being very specific and said, just go ahead, put it out there.

And so when you pray, don't pray in a general sense, pray specifically.

And she says she got to praying, and she said, Lord,

I need this delivery to hold off a little longer, another couple of weeks.

Lord, hold this delivery off, please. And then she said,

Lord, I'm asking you to let it go to thirty six weeks. I'm

asking you to allow it to go to thirty six weeks. God, we

need to reach thirty six weeks. And she said, last night, thirty

minutes before midnight, the baby was born on the thirty sixth week to the

day. But the baby had have been born thirty one minutes later, it

would not have been thirty six weeks to the day. I'm telling you,

God answers Prayer, how I feel about that, as if sister Rachel had

to said Lord, thirty six weeks and one day, that maybe would have

been born thirty six weeks. And one day I heard this to him and

say something that I shared with this congregation as well this past Wednesday night.

Fifteen years Lord, fifteen years Lord, fifteen years Lord. That's what has

Akayle prayed. As he turned his face to the wall. He prayed specifically,

I feel the annoying of God in this building tonight. I appreciate your

attendance. I appreciate your reverence in the House of the Lord. How did

y'all stay reverent this morning? His brother Road kept talled on the Grinch.

He's just this fake as Santa Claus. All right, how did y'all stay

so reverent dignified? How did y'all keep from smiling? And I don't want

to be a scrooge or a grinch. The Grinch isn't real, and neither

is sant or real. I'm looking forward to this time that we celebrate birth

of our Lord, Thank God. All right? First Chronicles, chapter number

twelve, Verse number eighteen. Brother Samuel Luke, chapter number one and verse

number twenty eight. Brother Jessein Daniel, Chapter number one and verse number nine.

It's been a little while since I've preaked, hasid it. We've had

quite a few visiting ministers over the last couple of weeks, so I asked

that you would pray for my voice that it would hold up. I usually

don't have any problem at all with my voice, but I would do coverts

with prayers. Brother Samuel Luke, chapter number one and verse number twenty eight

read that please, brother, and the Angel came in unto her and said,

hell, thou arn't highly favored. The Lord is with thee Let's start

the out among women. How many of you believe that? Do you all

believe that that this woman had been highly favored of the Lord, and that

a heavenly messenger had delivered the mail letting her know that this very thing was

a fact and in fact true, Brother Jesse Daniel, chapter number one and

verse number nine. Now God had brought Nani into favor, into your love

with the Prince of the Eunuchs. Did y'all catch that key word of favor

and tender love with the Prince of the unis. Let's stand for the reading

of our text tonight Verset Chronicles, chapter number twelve and reading verse number eighteen.

The Bible says, then the spirit came upon Amaside, who was chief

of the captains, and he said, thine are we David, And on

thy side, now, son of Jesse. Peace, Peace be unto thee,

and peace be to thine helpers, for thy God helpeth thee. Then

David received them and made them captains of the bad. There is so much

in that verse of scripture. I have no sermon from yesteryear from another preacher

to reference. I don't do that anyway. In nearly fifty years of being

in a Pentecostal church and Holiness churches, I have never heard anybody attempt to

take a text from this particular verse of scripture. But I am bubbling over

ever since the Lord changed my direction for tonight's service at four pm earlier today,

and I want to preach to you some things that God has brought to

my attention that are found in that particular verse of the Bible. I would

do whatever I could do to flag it so that my attention would be drawn

to it again in the future. If I was one of those that take

notes and like to go back and see certain times and distances of when the

Lord spoke specifically to me of this group of people we called the Bethel Holiness

Church. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you.

We thank you for the opportunity to be in the house of the Lord.

Well, we do miss those that are unable to be here tonight do

to some circumstances that were out of their control and situations that were unavoidable.

We do thank you God that they are mindful of this people and your house

and most important to you. I'm glad they're missing not being here. I

pray that you would annoy this, thy servant, said a guard at my

mouth, and help me to say the things that you would happy to say,

nothing more or less than on the ears of this thy people, that

they might hear what the spirits saith unto the church through this preach word.

Not of our words, God, but thy words. I pray, I

pray that you would help us Lord to love these words that you have for

us. Let us get ahold of them, let us not despise them,

let us embrace them. Help us not to be hearers only but doers.

God, I don't want to see these people, don't want to see themselves.

Help us to leave this place joyfully and not sorrowfully in Jesus' name,

And the church says Amen, Thank you, Holy Goes. We miss sister

Candace too. We miss you, sister Candas, if I've overlooked anyone else,

I am a sorry, sister Kandas is sick as well. Looking again

at the first part of our golden texts, First Chronicles, chapter number twelve

and verse number eighteen, the Bible said, then the spirit came upon Emaside,

who was chief of the captains, and he said, thine are we

David, And on thy side, thou son of Jesse, Peace peace be

unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers, for thy God helpeth thee.

Then David received them and made them captains captains of the band. Our

text is found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book

of First Chronicles. This book of the Bible has the most fascinating characters in

it. I enjoy reading from this book of the Bible. I'm sure that's

obvious to those of you that have been attending our recent services, because I

have been preaching some out of this particular writing. As you look through this

particular writing, you see some characters that are most fascinating. You see some

that you find a lot about in this sacred writing, while other characters there

is not much written about them. As I was reading this particular chapter,

the twelfth chapter. Brother Tyler has seen that the spirit of God prompted me,

or nudged me to go back one chapter. And I began to read

the eleventh chapter of the Book of First Chronicles, and I found the names

of the mighty men of David, fagged men of his armies, men who

David set over his guard, men that were giant slaves, noble men of

great exploits, men of humble beginnings that finished out being noble men within the

armies and the land of Israel. Again, giant slayers, fearless men,

lion hearted, strong, iron fisted men that served David. David sent them

over his guard, they did great exploits. These were men that there were

some people would look upon and say, that is my hero. While there

were other men, by the Jesse that I could not find very much about.

In fact, their names had little significance to me because of the limited

writings that I could find concerning their exploits, their actions, and their deeds.

But however, all of these men were mighty men, and all of

these men, no one excluded, found their name listed among the names of

the other great men who stood with David. You as an attendee of this

local congregation. You sometimes feel like your name is not mentioned as much as

some other names are. Also, you feel like your exploits might not be

as notable or as admirable as the exploits of others. But I want you

to know that if your name is written in the Blessed Book, the Lamb's

Book of life, and that you are a child of God, you have

something to be thankful for. I know that one of the Psalmas said,

I had rather been a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell

in the tents of the wicked or the unrighteous. It's good for me to

be here. You will remember two of the apostles that were following the Lord

Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry at the time of his ascension to glory.

They stated that it was good for them to have been present and witnessed the

transfiguration of our Jesus Christ as he took on that different body and began his

ascent up into the clouds. Going past the clouds, he has sent it

on up into the glory world and is now seated right beside his father.

In fact, he's on the right hand side of his father, and meaning

that in our savior, Jesus Christ, there is power, there is authority,

and I thank God for that divine representation that Jesus Christ offers the church.

I appreciate the authority that Jesus Christ himself offers the church. I thank

God that there is power in the name of Jesus. Throughout this day,

I've been thanking God for the power that is available for the name of Jesus.

It seems like I've ended a lot of my sentences with in the name

of Jesus today as I prayed. And I know that a lot of these

men would say, you know, there wasn't a whole lot said about my

life concerning my assistance to the great noble David, but nevertheless my name was

found or written there. I know that we do not have a roadbook at

the Bethel Hole in his church or have official membership here. And there are

some people that would like to know that their name is written in a roadbook

a membership at the Bethel Hole in his church, but we have not provided

the opportunity for you to do that because we do not really value a name

that is on the road. What we value is somebody being faithful to the

House of God and somebody being able to say to the leadership of this particular

church that we are with you. If you'll look at our golden text,

you will see that this man Amaside at some point he looked at David and

said, we are with you. I am paraphrasing. And so as you

begin to read this twelfth chapter of First Chronicles, this particular chapter is very,

very heartwarming for me. I read in this particular chapter where people had

defected from one kingdom in order to stand for and stand strong alongside of King

David. The author takes us to a time and the life of David when

he was fleeing from King Saul, the man who sought to take his very

life, the man who sought to destroy his reputation, the man assault to

strain the kingdom and cause the kingdom great hardship by taking the life of his

successor, a man seemingly that did not have everyone else's best interest in mind.

This man, Saul, was so selfish that he wanted to snub the

life of David out no matter who it hurt. Saul knew that these people

would need this man. David Saul also had an understanding of the spirit of

God was with David. He knew without a doubt that then nothing that he

had been familiar with had lighted upon King David. And so we see this

man, David, has gone into hiding because he fears losing his life from

the most powerful person in that region. This man had every opportunity to destroy

it, the life of David while David was living there in the kingdom,

and he attempted to destroy the life of David, but it was unsuccessful because

God was with him, no doubt. This frustrated and aggravated King Saul more

and more as he realized the more I attempt to snuff out the fire of

David, the bigger it grows. In fact, whenever I try to put

it out over here, it creates another flame over there. When I run

over there and try to put out that flame, it creates another flame over

here. Because Saul knew that David had that annointing or something, I want

to propose to you, deny that we call it the divine favor of God.

I want to preach a sermon the Holy girlst title divine favor is mine.

I'm not trying to be a braggart. I'm not trying to boast that.

I'm not trying to say that I am speaking that statement in regards to

my own life. I am not saying I'm gonna use that expression to divine

what has taken place in my own life, because I am preaching to people,

and I am giving you a sermon to hold on to, and a

sermon topic on divine favor and a sermon title that came from the Holy ghirlst

to get bound in your heart and in your mind and in your person and

realize that divine favor is mine. Take your figer and point at your own

chest and look at your neighbor and say with me, hey, neighbor,

divine is mine. Look back at them and say, well, I want

to let you know divine favor is mine too. Every child of God has

been privileged to have the divine favor of our heavenly Father. I know that

David was operating within the divine favor of Almighty God, and this became even

more evident as King Saul attempted to take the life of David. As you

seek King Saul seeking to take the life of David, you find David going

into a safe place, which is a hiding place. And this hiding place

that he chose to hide end is an unlikely choice. You know, sometimes

we feel fear, don't we. God has not given us the spirit of

fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. That

nevertheless, we feel fear at times because we are human beings. And can

I tell you, even in those moments and times when you feel fear and

concerned and feel a little bit worried about certain circumstances and situations in your life,

You've got to remember something. Your feelings has nothing to do with your

condition concerning the will of God or the favor of God. I'm sure that

were King David had to make the unlikely choice of setting this hiding place as

in the middle of the camp of the Philistines. For those of you that

do not know your Bible, the camp of the Philistines would have been the

lost place of King solid would have anticipated David going to. It would have

been a place of nobody would have expected David to dare feature in two.

But with fine David going down into this unlikely place, he calls of an

unlikely choicer in an unpredictable situation that he hides in the midst of the enemies

of Israel, that was in the camp of the Philistines. How many Bible

readers do we have in this building the night? How many if you remember

the name of the champion of Gath, the Philistine, the ugly ogre Caliah.

Though in the world would have anticipated or expected David to go down and

the sign of the godden line of become a member or apartment of the Philistine

church. Come on, now, I know that that's not selling right.

But this desperate man went to a desperate place, and he began to hide

himself. He said, very alive. According to the first few verses of

the twelfth chapter, you see that me and their lives and their families loved

to land the promise. They loved the land of his Lord in order to

be with David. They loved the land of their Nativity. They loved Georgia,

they loved North Florida, they loved Central Florida. They left New York,

they left Louisiana, and they went to replace him that God had told

them to go into. I want you to get this up here tonight.

I go and call to a lot of people missing that I still believe even

though we're facing hardship, diseases and cancer, all kinds of things that's making

us fear, like where are you a God? Where are you come?

When I pray, where are you God? While my enemies pursue me.

I find my simple in the camper of the doctor, Sir. I find

my semper in the doctor's officer or in the lawyer's officer. I want you

to know, despite your feelings, God is still with you. You still

have her divine favor. What you need to say is hell, divine favor

is mine. I left somebody to point to that your own test and say,

without a doctor, divine favor is mine. Now, if you want

to pound say I'm not so sure about that, it won't be yours.

If you want to interfox yourlity in that right, you're unworthy, You don't

deserve it, You won't have any searching together. This is one of them

times that we have to grab the adoption papers and say, I know to

I belong to my boy? Who is my God? I know to talk

to know these dates. That's what David had testified her in the face of

Israeli army, and in the face of his enemies, he had said,

he's there. I walk to the pallet for the shadow of death. I

will fear no evil for thou art who with me. These people wanted to

be with David because they knew that David was with God and God was with

her. David. I don't know about Challa, but I'm mistin arrested her

in following somebody that I'm not sure is into e and in tuture with God.

Pray for Amy. I'm with you. Look at our going to text

Thome. Are we ama side against to lose himself and his identity? And

he takes on the identity of Davil. And that's what any person does at

the time of their conversion by the Jesse or at the time of their great

blessing. They come into the building and they say, tonight, I let

him know that I am with him. Have come on now. Somebody heard

our brother read a little while ago concerning Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus.

The angel Gabriel said, who are highly favored the blessed among women?

Why? Because the angel said, we all know it, every angel,

It being both heaven Nina demonic knows that God is with you. You that

don't read your Bible, can't shout over that, that can't bro you God

with that woman rose Lord Jesus had favor with God and man. You see,

Amaside knew this that David's God is the one that brings the victory.

And he realized, as long as I stay on this side of decision and

remain in the camp of Saul, it's the disobedient, unruly, rebellious,

arrogant, and stubborn leader song, It's gonna continue to make bad decisions that

adversely affect me and my family. I'm gonna say it, Paul did not

have the best interest of Amasiah and these other mirror that came to find David

in mind. How many have you know this? Man? How a Side

knew that Todd will not there David. He knew that Todd would toss David

to devastate his enemies. He knew that Todd would enable and equip David to

neutralize the enemies of Israel. What I need to know is is that your

heart is with my heart. That's my heart is where your heart. I

feel, Holy God sit in this place. I don't know how we could

shout over the top of this message because there's so much content here. But

these men were willing to vacate positions and properties in order to go with David,

not understanding altogether that the vacating of properties and positions of power would lead

to power in the army of David and promotion in the ranks of the army

of David. When they left, the simply left to let they even know

that we are with you. Y'all read that. Look at that and our

golden sentence. What does it say, thine are we? And then it

gets specific so that Abashi doesn't think he's speaking to him. He said,

thine we David. How many of you know that night you came to church

and you prayed, when you spoke that God specifically and directly by name,

he knew that your attention to and your notice we're pure. And you said,

Tom, I belonged to the world. I've been in the kampa of

the word. I've been on mondza that have made bad chess and so but

tonight I'm telling you we are with you God, my family. Listen.

When you got her, I've got that ulteriormonials, I've got no other planet.

Their play but your plant, their care is Bible, my goad.

The people gathered to David in such a large number that they needed a city

to live here. What was the name of that city that they needed to

live here? The name of that city is found in this twelfth chapter,

sick Glad. Doesn't that sound para familiar? I believe by the Samuel testified

a couple of weeks ago about the sick Blad. You Bible readers, know

the rest of that story, and so I want you to know those that

you used to see blind guess there ampitation loads that used to sit like her

as the place of rest or, as they're haven and simply to be with

David. They did not make a mistake her, no matter how hard it

looked up to me. Then you see had been burned to the ground her

and they thought that David had that's something wrong. And the air who's considerstanding

David? Wait a minute, the one that you're left everything called wait a

minute, the what you just had to be with? No you seek to

destroy him. It was no mistake. It was no mistaking because David had

a heart and pan attack to God. He had a heart to pine after

the Lord. He said my heart pants after you, God as the heart

not of water brook, which is a deer Lord. I'm so thirsty of

being pursued by my enemies. I'm kind of for you. I just need

a drink of water of life. I just need a little encouragement. And

if you're not gonna get it from the city, but if you're not gonna

get it from sick clack, if you're not gonna get it from the elders,

if you're not gonna get it from your mighty being, what did David

decide to do? The Bible said he took the ephaa and itt when ahead

and praised God anyhow for himself. He encouraged himself in the Lord. Come

on now, if you've got the divine paper, oh cod, that's enough

encouragement. That is all we need to know, how a child of God

to know that He is with me, the parent promis or the name of

Jesus. Come on now, in Manuel, God is with us. That's

what somebody said tonight. All that matters is he is with us. He's

with us. We're preaching. We're going through some things. We'll preacher of

my family's going through some things. We're not going through some things? Does

that take away and the gate the divine favor of God? If you look

at Job's life, the Bible said he was a perfect man in his generation.

He was one that feared God and asot evil. In fact, God

shuk Job out in the front of the line when Lucifer was looking for candidates

to afflict. God said, have you considered him? Come here, brother

Samuel? What God done as he summoned Job onto the chess bird of life

and pushed him out in the front. You know what happened the moment that

he gained divine favor with God. You know what happened. He became a

target. Come now, It does not matter how much the devil targets the

church for how much sol all the targus David, or how much Lucifer targets

fairy, or how much hair targets of the little baby. I want you

to know, when you've got the paper he of God, you got,

just not in the pie paper of Todd. I wish you get in the

stir of good to old, realize what a blessing it is to be in

his favor. The Bible said that weeping may endure for the night but joy

comes in the morning. But what a lot of people overlook is what has

stated just before that in the middle of that verse that comes out of it

says, in his favor is life. It doesn't matter what you're going through,

Joe, and come on, there's nothing glorious about a holly blushed and

holly favored. The woman named Mary in her eighteen's probably or maybe seventeen years

of age coming into a little town of Bethlehem holding on the NS thirty Donkie.

Her belly's hurting her, and everywhere she stops her there's no room for

her. There's no room for a baby. Why come on, I'm telling

you, no feelings has nothing to do with well your salvation or your procession

good God. There's so many people that just throw run the will of God

or the problence of planning of God or the process of God because things just

don't seem to be going their way or the way that they expected things to

go. There's a lot of depth in the sermon here. Did not very

few people make it to their promised land or possess their promise because of discontentment

and dissatisfaction. Listen, it's going to come but it's gonna be a process

and development, and it's gonna take a period of time. Brother Philip,

we're praying for you as you go through this cancer battle. Whose battle was

more severe yours? Or David running for his life? Hey gonna say you,

We're praying for your baby boy Silent he needs a miracle? Yes he

does. Whose battle is more severe? Simon's your baby boys? Or Jesus

that's in the room of his brother the battle Trader, which will come on,

brother Jesseus Trader. I'm gonna say the well of God. It is

just just pray for every under picture and every circumstances. If you feel locker

there's some sort of divide order and divide orchestration in your life, you want

to say thank Comm for the pride paper I said up, you got thevide

and divide orchestration in your wife? Who do you want to say? Thank

God? What dif I play there church job the by favor somewhere sister would

be and again I'm not bringing but somewhere and sometime if it was while you

were doing laundry in the laundry room, Sister Hammon, somewhere sometime if it's

while you were working in Walmart, standing in the aisle of a certain department,

Sister Walker, somewhere sometime if it was in a church that was a

bit worried, and you were dissatisfied and longing in your son for a hole

in this church that proclaimed truth to righteousness, Three sisters somewhere in sometime,

somebody heard your prayer and God gave you divine favor. If that won't ever

sit here where this church people are, and you realize that God that then

will leave the puzzle pieces and were arranged him in order took it must what

we have today? Hey, how can it not succeed? Minister of God?

Playing of all body of God? I'm saying, you want to tell

the tap, Yes, it's got a you capital, you cast the time

favor here is God. Yes, David, you're gotta be king. Yes,

there, You're gonna be the mother of God. He hold of those

now say I missed, Sister Rachel, Howe we'll get rid tonight. I'm

telling you you'll find out how much you miss he says, sense of God.

When your goal, it's about time to someone who learned how to get

to your mind over the topics and gets your mind of what the screen of

a religion. We need a relationship. I need more than just the church

with. A girl that refused to lose her innocence, a girl that refused

to be easy, A girl that tried her best to fight against the peer

pressures or the stressers in high school or junior high, tried her best and

not end up drunk, whether all of her peers were going out to get

drunk. She kept holding on to that Bible every night, Brother Roquat,

she said she'd cry and look out the wind and say where is the Lord?

She could have dated any guy she wanted to at that time, she

said, but I'm just not easy. It's not gonna happen. I believe

God can move from me, Brother Jesse. What I thought was the basketball

coach polling for me to come to the high school was the prayers of a

little woman. That's your mother. I met her, you know the story,

that orientation she gave him my faith. I didn't see her for a

couple of months, but that cold corn I didn't have a jacket On happened

to be standing beside the lockers that we had. We were side by side.

We walked to class, which happened to be Brother Tyler down at the

other end of the school, side by side. We walked side by side.

Our lockers were side by side, and our classrooms have been side by

side for two three months. We didn't know it. I feel the spirit

of God in this place. Divine favor. She had divine favor. I

had divine favor Brother Jesse. I think it was around the twelfth of December.

We started talking. By December sixteenth, what was it, sister?

How December nineteenth we went on our first day. I took her to two

weddings. She asked me to take her to two weddings of our friends.

I'm glad you are because what I was going to preach has changed. That's

why I'm here two hours early to get the mind of the Lord divine favor.

This church is here today because all some people have to bund f you

with God. There was never a time that Sister Hammerd looked at me and

said I'm quitting you and you're putting me. There's never been a time that

Sister Iris has ever and we've had some hard times where I ever since that

I wouldn't see Sister Iris over the few come next service. Sister Howell has

told this people numerous times, time and again, he's my pastor. What

y'all don't understand is sometimes he rebukes me and gets home to me just as

strong as he does y'all. Sometimes it's not strong it But there's never been

a time that I went to go out that door that my wife wasn't right

there. It's not always a knock on the door. Brother Danny. I

want you to know I'm with you. I'm praying for you tonight. I

give you a hug and a kiss. It's not always that way, but

Brother Jesse, we've had some ouctions, we've had some dabs, We've had

some good times here, We've had some bad times here, but God has

always been good for us. I want to close with this as Brother jes

that's fine too. I know you've been weeping over there and just touched and

thank God for that. I don't want to hold you back from praying if

you want to, because the divine favor God is upon you. Brother.

But there's nothing worse for any general than to awaken to the fact that everyone

who is close to him is not really for his good. We should be

like this land, this man amicide, and we should do everything we can

to help the cause of the Lord. There's some of you have damaged the

Man of God's property on purpose. Frustrated, angry because things are going your

way, because some of you have done things that had attitudes and been upset

because it just didn't go your way, inconsiderate, insincere. But if you'll

fall in love with Jesus, and you'll tell Jesus tonight, I'm with you,

Lord. Whether I find mister right or not, I'm in love with

you. I'm in love with you, Lord. That's how Charity found Jeremy.

I'm in love with you. Lord. I had the love, the

will of God, the divine favor of God, more than family even when

I came down here seventeen years ago. I want to tell you that our

devotion and dedication to the Lord and his purpose for our lives shouldn't need to

be doubted or questioned. We ought to give the Lord our very own lives.

If you love the people you work with, the conversation with him more

than you do praying for this man who struggles, you're worthless to the Family

of God. If you'd rather go to a work luncheon while there's people fastening

praying there in their lunch for this church, you're worthless to the Family of

God. But I finally fell in love with that one we talked about last

Sunday night. That got beaten beyond recognition. I fell in love with him

until I couldn't help. But really and truly love my brothers and sisters.

Now I want to bear my brother's burdens and fulfill the love of Christ.

Now it's an armor privilege of mine to get out of bed and pray for

sister Cheryl in her condition. There's more to you saying I'm with you,

Pastor, I'm with you, Dad, I'm with you, Papa, I'm

with you, Pops. I'm with you, Mam. There's more to you

I was leading our little flock through theresis to how it got just about to

the end of the door, to the end of the hall and at the

door, and to be respectful, I stood there in appreciation of what they

had tried to show. The animals and all this stuff walked us through Bethlehem,

and I tried to sing, I'll see them later, but Sunday by

the time, and I realized there's a spiritual battle going on. It's not

on my end. I didn't start to fight, but I looked at her

and something in her eye has changed, and I said, thank y'all for

everything y'all done. God bless y'all. And that demon and looked at me

and said, we have been blessed. And there was so much hatred.

There's nobody hates the standard of holiness and truth to righteousness and innocence and purity

being represented more than somebody that used to live in and know it. And

I thought, just before I walked up that door, that demon spoke and

I thought, honey, if that's the blessings of God, I don't want

supposed to be in bed, but it's still with me. And he gave

said, I know you're my pastor, and you're my dad, my kids

encourage you, he said, but I want to tell you something. I

feel like God's say. I'm gonna turn it around. Amen, And he

see great shall be the end there? And he wrote that in capital bold

letters. God's gonna turn it around. God said, I'm gonna turn it

around. I'm telling you, if we'll act upon what we feel. Right

now, tears are flowing down faces, eyes are swelling up full of tears.

Folks are weeping and crying. If you'll just collapse wherever you're at,

find a place to pray and just say, Lord, I know I'm going

through some things. I know I'm facing some things. But I'm with you.

I'm in your will, I'm in your favor. I'm in the place

that you would put me in. I believe things are gonna turn out.

Okay, it's gonna be okay, it's gonna be all right, it's gonna

be just fine. As you begin to pray, I want you to reside

with me. Divine favor is mine. What you tell the Lord those three

words, divine favor is bine. Tell the Lord those four words, divine

favorite is fine. Are you with us? Are you with him? Are

you with your family? Are you with your spouse? Seek or swim?

Then the spirit came upon Amaside, who was chief of the captains, and
