  1. Uh, so parable used to be in God's house tonight, appreciade of appreciate

  2. that hole in his church, and of great shade of Mastor. And the

  3. first lady, Hey, Uh, if you have your bibles tonight, I'll

  4. be in the Book of uh, the Book of Acts, Uh chapter number

  5. two and then uh Acts chapter number eight. I mean asks you act actually

  6. acts N seventeen. Uh, yeah, asked chapter number two, verse number,

  7. verse number one. And when the day of Pentecostal was fully come,

  8. they were all with one accord in one place and song. There came a

  9. sound from heaven as of a Russian minding wind, and it filled all the

  10. house where they were sitting, and it appeared onto them clothing tongues like as

  11. of a fire. And it set upon them, each of them, and

  12. they were were all filled with the holy ghosts and began to speak with other

  13. tongues. And as the spirit gave them others. There were Jowell at Jerusalem,

  14. and the Jews and devout man out of every nation under the heavens.

  15. And now when this was noticed abroad, the multitudes come came together. And

  16. we're confound because that every man heard them speaking in his own language, and

  17. that they were all amazed and marvels, and saying one to another, behold

  18. or not all these which speeded and the dolls. Okay, And how here

  19. with every man in your own tongue, where we're born. In verse number

  20. and verse number fourteen, it says what Peters stay standing up with the eleven

  21. and lifted up his voice, saying, unto them, you man of Judeah,

  22. and all that to well at Jerusalem. Be this gone unto you,

  23. and hearken to my my words. Where these are not drunken as ye oppose,

  24. seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is

  25. that which was spoken by the prophet Joe. And then and it shall come

  26. to pass into last days. Save the saveth God. I will pour out

  27. my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall PROPHISI and your

  28. young man shall dream dreams, And on this servant and on the handmaids.

  29. I will pour out those in those days my spirit, and they shall prophisey.

  30. And I will swoo wonderings and of the heavens and signs, and the

  31. earth beneath the blood and the fire, and the in the fib of smoke

  32. and flip over to flip over tonight to ash chapter number nine and person number

  33. sixty, Yeah, number seventeen and went an and Nice went into the way

  34. into the house and put his hand on him, saying, brother Saul,

  35. the Lord even Jesus that appeared unto thee the way as thou camest have has

  36. sent me that thou might'st received. Why side and be filled with the Holy

  37. Ghost. And that'll be all be reading tonight. If the Lord to help

  38. me. Thank you. The title of this message is you can receive if

  39. you want to want it. Yeah, yeah, And and the message is

  40. called You're a glimpse of your miracle. And yeah, those that have been

  41. filled with the Holy Ghost, you need a double portion of the Holy Ghost,

  42. right. And those that don't have it you need a You need to

  43. keep seeking for it. You need to whatever is hindering you deny. Don't

  44. let nothing hinder you and hold you back from getting your blessing from God.

  45. I know we're in this fast and pastors God us on this fast. But

  46. if you're if you're worried about a steak, shame on you and you when

  47. you should be seeking God, seeking for God God's approval. When you should

  48. be seeking. The Bible says, examine yourself daily. But the Bible even

  49. talks about Philip preaching about unclean spirits and the Book of Acts. He's preaching,

  50. and he's preaching on the Kingdom of God, and he's also preaching the

  51. Peter and John. He's also preaching on about receiving the Holy Ghost, about

  52. receiving the Holy ghost. You may have the Holy Ghost, but you need

  53. more of the Holy Ghost. You need more of the Holy Ghost than ever

  54. before. You know, brother Philip needs a healing in his body. I've

  55. been praying for blood of feeling. And the Bible speaks about Jesus in the

  56. Book of Mark about all these healings taking place. If we and and uh

  57. we read about in the Book of Acts, you know about Philip, Philip

  58. being lad of God, and he's you know, he's preaching, and he's

  59. preaching on possession. He's preaching on Bell's Causey and I begin to think on

  60. this, What if God, God heals somebody in the service. What if

  61. God heals somebody just because of your obedience, just because you got the Holy

  62. ghost. Brother Philip gets healed, Sister Charity gets healed of what she's facing

  63. in her body. What if God is telling you to be obedient to the

  64. word of God. Amen. I didn't know. I didn't know Pastor was

  65. gonna tell me to come up here tonight. But I felt the Holy Ghost

  66. so strong, and I went down and I went out of that camper.

  67. I went out that camper. I went into that car. Why nobody was

  68. a man, and the Holy Ghost settle in that place. The Holy Ghost

  69. set on that place. The Holy Ghost set on it, down on me,

  70. and I begin again, and the Holy Ghost gave others in that vega.

  71. Alright, I begin, I begin to seek God. I begin to

  72. call out on call for this service tonight. I began to call upon God,

  73. and I begin, I begin to say, you know, we don't

  74. need a linger behind right, don't linger you need a pooring own what our

  75. churches need. We don't need more entertainment in our churches. You don't need

  76. no more We don't need no more people people carrying on and playing games with

  77. God. We need to get people getting serious with God. So after God,

  78. hunger and Thurston, after righteousness. It takes a daily, dailycation.

  79. Paul Paul even said, I'm not ashamed of the Gospel, Thearrah for those

  80. who believe. I begin to think on this about examining yourself daily. You

  81. know, I begin to think on this, examine yourself. You may not

  82. You may not make it tomorrow. You may not make it next weekend.

  83. You may may not even make it. The future. We might know with

  84. the future holds. God holds the future in his hand. In the palm

  85. of his hand, you have a palm of his hand that God, God

  86. is coming soon. Even the Bible talks about for the permission of seeing his

  87. death. I don't I didn't know who was gonna be here tonight. But

  88. God told me somebody needs to somebody needs to walk a little father, nobody

  89. needs to walk, walk a little Father. And God told me tonight that

  90. that, oh, your walk can fall, your walk can fall. You

  91. gotta keep you kind of get rid of the God, get rid of that

  92. guilt, out of your out of your heart. You need you need a

  93. You need a You need to come come to the knowledge of the truth.

  94. Paul was speaking about we we we have an opportunity. It's time. It's

  95. time to let the fan or high of holiness. The Bible says the fall

  96. of peace with holiness. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord and

  97. the Book of Hebrews. It takes a daily, daily walk with God.

  98. It takes a daily dedication. I begin to I begin to seek God and

  99. pray about this service. I'm not here to boast upon myself or brag upon

  100. myself. I'm not here to be seen. Amen. But I begin to

  101. think holness. If it happened for the apostle, if it happened for the

  102. Apostle, if it happened for John and Peter leaving on the day in the

  103. ninth hour of prayer, how should it be more for the church house to

  104. be to be leaving for joy? How should it be somebody should should obey

  105. God. It shouldn't be Uh, it should be the It should be the

  106. preacher and having a preacher every time and preaching out. God wants you to

  107. launch out to the deep. I want you to launch out. Watch out.

  108. Get a glimpse of what God's trying to tell you. God is looking

  109. for someone to reach out, reach out and touch the Lord. He's not

  110. too busy to hear your heart's crying. It's a matter of death situation that

  111. we if we don't get a hold of God. We mast will we mass,

  112. We'll not have church. It's a matter and death situation. It's a

  113. matter of death situation. This, this word of God will stand true When

  114. when when? When? When? When? When this world says it's no

  115. good, this word will stand that all this word will stand with God.

  116. It's where we'll stand with God. When when, well, when when people

  117. say to give up and get in and throw in the towel. When people

  118. say give in and throw in the towel, you should say, no,

  119. I'm not gonna throw in the towel. I'm gonna keep living up a flag.

  120. I'm gonna keep living up a flag of backle holness. Church. You

  121. should be the one saying, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna leave

  122. a legacy for the next generation. You should be the one saying I wanted

  123. to give it by all in fact, the good fight of faith. You

  124. know, I begin to say, God, if I if I ever get

  125. out of line and step out of your will, correct me, correct me.

  126. It's I've been there. I'm in there. I'm in there where.

  127. God had to check myself. I had to say, God, is there

  128. any way wave in my life that's not pleased to correct, and I begin

  129. to seek God in my in my life. I begin to and to grow

  130. stronger in God. Now I begin to say, God, it's not about

  131. me. It's about the cause of Christ. It's why his strikes we are

  132. healed that. The Bible even says, uh, to be doers of the

  133. word, overcome the evil with the good. It's uh. It's a it's

  134. a it's a it's a good. It's a good opportunity to seek God,

  135. Seek God in his presence. You know, I'd rather, I'd rather jowell

  136. in the dwell in the house, in the absence, in the Lord,

  137. and to dwell in the tenths of the wicked. The Bible says, and

  138. Pastor even said, why had sent here till we die? I sit here

  139. till we die? I rather not be a bitch woman and sit there all

  140. night. I ratter. I rather have what God has for me. I

  141. read her. I read her. I rad he have a double portion.

  142. I read her. I know what God has for me. Now why I

  143. sit here? Do we die? I mean people can say, oh,

  144. oh I have I have all I need? Oh you don't, friend,

  145. Jesus is all that you need. Jesus is all that you need Jesus,

  146. should be, should be, should be your UH, should be your friend.

  147. The battle even says he stits closer than a brother. I begin to

  148. see God and UH. I begin to begin to say, God, I

  149. need, I need, I need you right now because I don't because I

  150. know that this generation that it's not gonna last longer, and it's not gonna

  151. last longer, because I see a great falling away. I begin to think

  152. on this, what if it was to from your time right? Would you

  153. be standing standing at God a God? Would you be standing with God and

  154. being and beings? Hear him say thou good and faithful servant, enter in.

  155. I want to be able to hear him say I want to be able

  156. to hear him say thou good and faithful servant. Enter in the choice of

  157. the Lord. I don't want to never hear the Lord say depart from me.

  158. I never knew why why don't you just get to do what God said?

  159. Due? Like Pastor said, why why why? I don't understand people?

  160. Why why they? Why they why they worship God? Why? Why?

  161. Why why don't we just why don't we just magnify his name? Why

  162. he's passing by? Tasted the Book of Sobs talks about tastes and see that

  163. the Lord is good. He is good, and he's good all the time.

  164. I begin to think on this, what if two or three are gathering

  165. my name there I may be also in the midst He talks about them,

  166. and I begin to think on this. You know, he hasn't seen the

  167. righteous or see the peggy bread. But the Bible even talks about that,

  168. talks about you know about uh, the things that are in get seen.

  169. It talks about that in God's word, the evidence, the things that are

  170. hoped for, and the things that are hoped for. There's a brighter future

  171. beyond the grave if we do what God says do, if we do the

  172. will of God, God will do the impossible thing in your life. God

  173. wants to work a miracle. God wants to work a miracle. And I

  174. begin to I begin to think on this, you know, you know,

  175. I begin to think on the song it talks about. It talks about two

  176. codes word before me and the old and the news I could have either.

  177. What must I do? The Lord cove was earthly and tattering to them,

  178. But the Lord brought me this new call that ever have them worn and I

  179. begin to think on that song. You know, many of times I go,

  180. I go, I go, and sometimes I feel like running when that

  181. song comes on. I begin to think on that when when people used to

  182. say, you know, God say say about the song run On, run

  183. On, and I begin to think on you know about you know, wrought

  184. of you Houston. It's Dad and gone. He used to sing the song

  185. can't no party to me like Jesus, because he's my dearest friend. It's

  186. my dearest friend. I know, I know he is my friend. When

  187. you won't me I read or give it to God that have anything else,

  188. I appreciate God raise a hand for So do you thank the Lord, the

  189. Lord for that word a glimpse that your miracle. If we could get ahold

  190. of that. Let me actually be talking a little good saying to here tonight,

  191. thank the Lord for our pastor for the opportunity for the confidence to be

  192. honest. I kind of felt like it might be asked, but I told

  193. my dad, I said, I feel like those instant potatoes that you know

  194. we've been eating, and I'm just in the box. We've got to be

  195. putting some hot water and we'll see if we come out from palling. But

  196. as I've began to pray, as we're goin to pray, there's something that

  197. I've been praying about a lot. The Lord showed me that directed me that

  198. way. If you be looking at exod, this verse chapter thirty three very

  199. familiar. It's not a new thought. But the Lord has let me a

  200. little differently than we've heard this before. Chapter thirty three. We're looking at

  201. verses seventeen and eighteen. It says that the Lord said, um to Moses,

  202. I will do this thing. Also that thou hast spoken for thou hast

  203. fout grace in my sight, and I know THEE by day. And he

  204. said, I beseech THEE show me thy Glory's proven God, now real quick.

  205. Right here. I wanted to know some people that are satisfied that God

  206. heard their prayer and that God knows who they are. But here Moses is

  207. saying, God, show me your glory. He wants more of God,

  208. and like Paul, had such a mighty experience in his conversion. But yet

  209. he will later that I may know him, Oh, that we may know

  210. him more. And here I'm at the beginning of this chapter chapter thirty three,

  211. God is telling Moses that it's time for the children of Visual to resume

  212. their journey. They had stopped and God. Moses had been on the mountain

  213. commune with God, and he received the ten commandments. And then the children

  214. of Visual fell into the sin when they crafted the Golden Calf and they worshiped

  215. him, they committed idolatry. But now the Lord is dealing with Moses that

  216. it's time to go up. But he's he's still pretty upset with the children

  217. of Visual. And they begin to because there are stiff necked people. They

  218. haven't been doing what God has told him to do. But they he tells

  219. them that he's he's upset with them. He speaks for Moses and the people

  220. that begin to mourn. They begin to repent. They begin to lay off

  221. some things because God told him, he said, lay off your jewelry,

  222. lay off rings, and we'll see how I deal with you. They begin

  223. to morn and they begin to pray, and then in Verse set and Moses

  224. takes the tabernacle and he pitches it without the camp. He takes it outside

  225. of the camp. And I'm so thankful that we have a place to come

  226. to that's outside of this world that we can come apart and we push force

  227. some effort. They had come apart to come to this place where God's presence

  228. is, and it says they made an effort, and they led the comfort

  229. of their own dwell, and they had to come apart. They to make

  230. an effort, and it says that there was those that sought him, and

  231. there that came out. They put forth the effort, and they sought him.

  232. And verses nine and ten, it says, and it came to pass

  233. as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended and stood at the

  234. door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. And all the

  235. people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door, and all the people

  236. rose up and worshiped every man at his tent door. We're gonna come back

  237. to that, but for the next few verses, it's Moses and it's God

  238. communion, communion back and forth, and verse eleven says that it was as

  239. a man speaking to his friend. And then we come to where we just

  240. read, where God tells him that he's found grace in his sight, that

  241. he knows Moses by name. But yet Moses says, show me that glory.

  242. God. I want to know more of you. God, I want

  243. to see more of you. And here's where my burden is for this servant,

  244. is for this fast and for this year. It has been my prayer,

  245. God, show me that glory. It's a prairer that many of us

  246. have prayed, and it's a pair that many of us have heard prayed.

  247. But God, truly show us your glllery. Moses, he'd heard thanks from

  248. God. He'd seen the fiery bush, he'd seen the pillar. He's seen

  249. so many things, and we at this church we've heard so many things before,

  250. servant after startance, servant after servant, God speaking specifically to us.

  251. We've seen the Holy Ghost poople of people and touch people. We've seen people

  252. be ill before. But God, we need another touch of glory. God.

  253. We need more of you. We been on witness the modern day miracles.

  254. Moses and the people had said it. At first, they all saw

  255. the cloud. They all witness the cloud. Moses heard God speak to him

  256. face to face. But yet there was more. They't we want more of

  257. the glory. I love when the Holy Ghost falls on me. I love

  258. when people get in but I want to see more baptized. I love hearing

  259. the accounts of testimonies and the heelings that I've been done. I've felt healing

  260. before, but God, we need more hands. We need another touch of

  261. glower now. And there are three words for a consideration that I already had

  262. written down, and one of them was glimpse. We got a gaze,

  263. a glance, or a glimpse. A gaze is defined as steadily intently looking,

  264. especially in admiration, surprise, or thought. A glance is when you

  265. choose to look at something, but then you look away. A glimpse implies

  266. that something has obstructed the view, or that the object that you were clipsing

  267. at has moved out aside. It's just a glimpse. And can I tell

  268. you that in this earth, the glory, it's just a glimpse. Until

  269. we can get to Heaven and we can gaze upon His glory. The healings

  270. is just a glimpse. I tell the glory that we gaze upon in our

  271. new bodies, the Holy does experience. It's powerful. He's in the Mother,

  272. but it's just a glimpse, I tell him. With the letter in

  273. heaven, we only get glimpses until we reach heaven and then we can gaze.

  274. Well, let me tell you, if you choose the only glances at

  275. what you see, you will never gaze. If you choose the luck,

  276. what surface and look away the next When you choose the luck, I'll just

  277. cut they and lind said, but then crowd the rest of the week talk

  278. away. You'll never gaze upon his money. That sord guy has better enough.

  279. This was in my nottory as well. Heaven is the gold. When

  280. we talk about heaven, we talk about glory, and heaven is the gold.

  281. And the last few weeks, something that's been serve me is the reality

  282. of heaven. When that really sinks him that after this life there is something

  283. that every man is going to die, every woman is going to die,

  284. no matter how old, no matter how young, and there is something afterwards.

  285. When that sinks in the reality, you will make heaven your goal and

  286. you will do everything you can to gaze upon glory one day. Are you

  287. hungry to let days? What are you hungry for? As we as we

  288. begin this fast, I told the kids, I said, this will tell

  289. you what kind of person you are. What are you hungry for? The

  290. two of them. They were very honest. They said, sugar me,

  291. I've been craving something spicy. I want buffalo chicken. That's what I've been

  292. hungry for. Moses, though he was hungry for more of God. It

  293. amazes me. It doesn't really, but it does. All the things that

  294. are recorded that he saw that these men have goought, they saw, they

  295. witnessed, but yet they wanted more because there was more available, and God

  296. allowed him. He said, you can't see my face, for no man

  297. shall see my face to live. Oh, but we're paying Lord. We

  298. shall see his face. When shall we owe him? But he did because

  299. that was Moses' true desire, and it was out of a pure heart,

  300. and it was his honest what he wanted from God. And God allow him.

  301. And he passed by, and he allowed Moses to see his hunderparts and

  302. witness the glory. And in closing the the Boble says, going back to

  303. this where they all saw it, says, they all worshiped. And I

  304. got to think that that with some of us as we begin to as we

  305. begin to witness this, if we were those who weren't the forefront of that

  306. stiff necked bunch, would we go with shame. Would we look on with

  307. maybe anger and resentment, and you know, we just take a glance and

  308. we look away because we see God meeting with people who've been seeking, and

  309. people who have humbled himself with God, and people who lay aside those things

  310. like God said. But then we look on, maybe in disinterest or maybe

  311. indifference, but all maybe we may we be those who yearned for more of

  312. God, for more of his glory, and in return give him more of

  313. us. We must give him all of us. We must have that amble

  314. offering and not a cane offer like that talked about, because the glory and

  315. that was able, the glory came down on his sacrifice. Oh, that

  316. God and the glory of God would be with us, a greater grip on

  317. glory. That's what I've wanted to give to you all tonight. Just mentioned

  318. the greater grip on glory. Oh, that we could get every glimpse we

  319. can, That we would hunger from every touch of God, every move with

  320. God we can, that we would just I'll tell you where this has been

  321. is pastors talked about seeing the glory cloud, and there's others that I've witnessed

  322. that and now I want to say being more in the position to experience something

  323. like that, that has been my prayer. But my prayer was when you

  324. come down God, the power the glory cloud, when that glory cloud that

  325. sins it's not just here for me to see, like brothers said, it's

  326. not just here for my entertainment, but there's power in that glorious cloud.

  327. And I believe that when we pray, when we see God, when that

  328. glory thought does come down, when the chit kind of glory of God come

  329. down to kids, there will be baptisms and the Holy ghosts currently healings,

  330. there will be body of manifestations, body little, if good, it is

  331. attainable. I'm sick of hearing God doesn't heal. He just want to heal

  332. your heart. God still heals your body. I seek of hearing that these

  333. things recorded are for today. I've seen it for today. I've experienced for

  334. today. I'm glad that we thought about God. He is on the deficit.

  335. He has all the power, and I'm saying thankful that His Lord is

  336. available for us, and I just want more for him. And I pray

  337. that that your parare desired. This guy says you drunk closer and you'll see

  338. more if you gosh. I'm thankful from the spirit of the Lord we feel

  339. tonight. When I started getting all my diagnosis of the deal's going on,

  340. I prayed one time and I said I was praying the Lord, and I

  341. said, Lord, I know I'm not gonna die because I don't believe you're

  342. done with me. I've got plans. But then I got to thinking,

  343. and the part I prayed the most was, Lord, I have plans for

  344. you, and I hope everyone has from as plans for the Lord in their

  345. life. And the long Jetty, I want to share this. I don't

  346. I don't think anybody in here doubts our Pastor. I do not believe that

  347. at all. But something Brother Jonathan, he's aware of this. I haven't

  348. spoke the pastor on it yet, but last Sunday night. Most of y'all

  349. know Beuford. He hadn't been here for about three months or so, and

  350. so he come over Sunday afternoon, and so we were listening to preaching.

  351. We're just gone through people. We'd name somebody and if we both knew me

  352. or Jonathan us to doing, we'd play him. And so we ran across

  353. a capitist preacher. I turned him home and then he preached a little bit.

  354. And then I told youord, I said, let me show you a

  355. clip where a lot of people say, say you fell. And so I

  356. turned that clip on YouTube on Its only like three seconds and immediately just he

  357. went off on vulgarities. And so after that clip happened, Beuford told me,

  358. he said, I just don't understand how someone that knows that much of

  359. the Bible this man could I've never seen it that way, told me.

  360. He said, I don't know how someone that knows the Bible that good could

  361. backflot. I said, the only thing I can say is he stopped praying

  362. right. And so we come to church Sunday night. The pastor knew nothing

  363. about it, got up and it was the same man. I'm not gonna

  364. call his name, same man. It's after church. I told Youchford,

  365. I said, you called that. He said, yeah, And I know

  366. the Lord pulls from Beauford a lock and the same thing and my message,

  367. I'll get to it a minute. The same thing happened to convention. We

  368. were all in the hotel reading and praying before or not before the morning service,

  369. and Youford looked at me, brother Caleb and Jonathan and said, what

  370. a sanctification? I said, if you for the only thing I know to

  371. say is it's separation and coming to the point where you don't care what people

  372. think, or separate from the world friends. And so I said, give

  373. you a minute. So I know the Bible when I'm no scholars. So

  374. I went back to my concordance and I went to the sanctification section, and

  375. I got about four scriptures and I gave them to Buford. That very next

  376. night, Pastor got out and talked about sanctification the same scriptures, and so

  377. I'll be doing a little different way. I've had this on my heart for

  378. about two weeks and then I woke up with this title going over and over

  379. in my head when I woke up this morning. If you have your Bibles,

  380. we're reading first Samuel, chapter fifteen and verse thirty five, EPI.

  381. Small You have to save man, it says, and Samuel come no more

  382. to see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless, Samuel mourned for

  383. Saul, and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

  384. You afraid enough all would be helpless God. This is a story most of

  385. us are very familiar with. Saul. I mean Samuel, the prophet come

  386. to Saul and was telling him the things that the Lord wanted to do.

  387. Is says in verse three. This is the Lord speaking to Saul through his

  388. servant Samuel, and it says, now, go smite the Amlakites and utterly

  389. destroy all that they have, and spare them not but Slabo's men and woman,

  390. infant and suckling aughts, sheep camel and asks, then if we go

  391. on. In verse seven, it says, and Saul smote the amler Kites

  392. from henlong until until thou comest to sure that is over against Egypt, he

  393. says, and he In verse eight, it says, and he took a

  394. gag the king of the amla Kites alive and utterly destroyed all the people.

  395. Now, if you read that just five verses prior, I believe in his

  396. Samuel's telling Saul to slay everyone needs nothing to live and then all in uh

  397. verse eight he takes it says, and he took ain't gad the king right

  398. there and says, alive and utterly destroyed all the people. This is the

  399. king. He should have been the one that God first, it says,

  400. and then in verse ten, I will be going through. I want to

  401. get through the end. Then came the word of the Lord under saying or

  402. saying, it repents me that I have made that I have set up Saul

  403. to be king, for he is turned back from following me, and hath

  404. not performed my commandments. Hat Lujah verse eleven. And so right there Saul

  405. just begins to do it his way on back and said, God just said,

  406. man, I repent and repent it to me that I made Saul king

  407. over Israel. My title. I already miss it. I think the title

  408. is when God moves on that. When I woke up with that come on

  409. over in my head, I had this scripture for weeks, and so let

  410. me come read thirteen and fourteen. Help us, Lord said, and it

  411. says, Samuel come to Saul. And Saul said, unto him, blessed

  412. be thou of the Lord. I have performed the commandments of the Lord.

  413. And Samuel said, what meaneth the bleeding of the sheep in mine ears?

  414. And the lulling of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, they

  415. have brought them from the Amlicites for the people's spare the best of the sheep

  416. and of the oxen to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God, and the rest

  417. we have utterly destroyed. Right there, Saul saw lies to Samuel plain as

  418. day says, I've done what the Lord hath commanded. And then immediately Samuel,

  419. the Lord showed him. And that's the thing. We can't let anything

  420. get past our. Samuel are brought that. He immediately knew they can tell

  421. when you're not actually doing what God said to you. Help us, Lord,

  422. So let me jump down right here. Help me. Holy goes right

  423. here. Sister how actually said this scripture after I had read it this morning

  424. she or spoke about it here in Sunday school, And it said, and

  425. Samuel said, where thou when thou werst literal in thine own sight? What'st

  426. thou not made the head of the tribe of Israel and the Lord and nort

  427. to be king? Right there? That was when Saul was humble. At

  428. some point, Saul got too big for his britches, as old timers would

  429. say, something the Lord I feel like gave to me was know it all

  430. Saul. Saul wanted to do it his own way. There's something I want

  431. to jump right here to verse thirty, and we'll read through the rest of

  432. this. Then he said, I have sinned At this point, Saul against

  433. the confess it, he says. Then then he said, I have sin.

  434. Yeah, ortter me, now I pray before the errors of my people

  435. and before Israel, and turn again with me that I may worship the Lord.

  436. So Samuel turned again after Saul and worship the Lord. Then then said

  437. Samuel, bring me hither to me a gag and the king of the Amakots.

  438. And ain't God come to him deceechly? And Agad said, surely the

  439. bitterness of death has passed. I got a think right there. Let me

  440. reread that. It says, try to find I'm great to pray anyway right

  441. here. So Samuel turned again after Saul and saw worship the Lord right then

  442. and there. Samuel knew that Saul didn't mean business, because that Saul should

  443. have got done praying and worshiping God, and said, bring me Agag,

  444. I'll got stuff. He should have been the one that you and the piece

  445. is gonna, said Samuel. When he got done worshiping, he stood back

  446. if your dad, and said, Saul didn't call for a gag. Call

  447. a gag. You him into pieces before the Lord right here, and said,

  448. and Samuel said, hey, Goad said, surely the bitterness of death

  449. has passed. And Samuel said, as thy sword have made women childless,

  450. so shall thy mother be childless among women? And sam were hughed a gag

  451. into pieces before the Lord in Gilgal. And Samuel went to Rama, and

  452. Saul went up to his house to Assaul, and Samuel came no more to

  453. see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless, Samuel more for Saul,

  454. and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel. I

  455. want to read now in chapter sixteen and verse one, And the Lord said,

  456. unto Samuel, how long wilt thou more for Saul? Seeing I have

  457. rejected him from reigning over Israel, fell like horn with oil, and go.

  458. I will send thee to Jesse the beth for him like this, for

  459. I have provided me a king among his sons. I got a thing that

  460. pastor preached on puppet Pharaoh. So at this point what it is is Saul

  461. got done. He didn't want to be a puppet no more right he got

  462. done doing what God wanted him to do, he said, I'll just keep

  463. doing it my way. He kept at God's kind of like an apeing situation.

  464. Right here, you gotta realize, God tell me right the so and

  465. the Lord said Uno, saying along without mourning for Saw. That's a scary

  466. thought. Right here, are sayingel most of us know that it's our prophet.

  467. What will you do if God tells this man to stop mourning for you?

  468. If I'm telling you right there, thank you. He goes, I

  469. can find it. He before we go somewhere in there, God will grant

  470. somebody God flowing to turn away. And Samuel grab his garment and rent it

  471. and said, God hath rent the kingdom from you and given it to your

  472. neighbor. He said, who is better than thou? If you want to

  473. be a hardhead deep before you want to cause the man of God move and

  474. sleep, said Samuel mourned all night long prior to God. God will remove

  475. you and replace you with a with a homeless man. Before right there,

  476. it says the Somewhere in the in the sixteenth chapter, it says the spirit

  477. of God departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from God, God give

  478. me an evil spirit. Before I got to thinking about that, the fact

  479. that it says better than thou. I know, it's a hard thing to

  480. think that God could bring a wholeless man in that causes him less problems.

  481. God can bring I druk her to and causes less brothers. The last thing

  482. we need to do God, There it says, now the evil spirit from

  483. God. Come on Saul, God put that evil spirit on him. You

  484. know who is the one that comforted so Saul's replacement, David. It could

  485. be the very person you want to call brother Allan Loia. It could be

  486. if somebody God brings in is the one having to preach to you. I

  487. want having to bring for you right out of the fire. All because you

  488. calls them inn on God problem all he calls them man on God lost sleep.

  489. I want to read that again. And the Lord said into Samuel,

  490. how long wilt thou more for Saul. I've been thinking about that for weeks.

  491. If the Man of God starts stops morning, we are in a scary

  492. place. That that's a beautiful thing. I don't I don't want to ever

  493. cause the Man of God to lose sleep. Hey, we're easy to replace.

  494. Saul was the king. Everybody loves Saul there for a time and if

  495. he rent his garment, said, God, given it to thy neighbor,

  496. a better man than thou. You God, I know there's better men than

  497. us. But I just want to be a blessing the pastor. I don't

  498. want to be a herd had I want to be obedient. I want to

  499. be like I want to be David, that guy that just stuck with me.

  500. When I realized that David Saul being the hard headed Samuel Wait annointed David

  501. to be king and that evil spirit with old soul, and they said his

  502. certain thought about heat is somebody that could play the horror, something calming down.

  503. And Saul's very replacement that was that. That was really good to me.

  504. I got to thinking about about got happy. Maybe I shouldn't. I

  505. know what Sister Waving the pastor talked about. We don't want to get happy

  506. about. We ain't happy to anybody's gonna go to hell at all. But

  507. a man God will replace you with so more. And that that's a blessing

  508. to the man of God. If you don't heed and listen, I thank

  509. you Lord that got appreciate the Lord here tonight, the pastor the church.

  510. I appreciate pastors so much for his confidence and asking us to preach here this

  511. evening, looking forward to what the Lord has for the rest of the service.

  512. Appreciate what these brothers have said. I really feel like that. Y'all

  513. gonna think some of us was on a group text comparing notes and stuff.

  514. But I promised you that was not the case. We were in a group

  515. text, but that was just Pastor telling us to be ready. We said,

  516. every one of us, yes, Sir Pastor. That was the end

  517. of it. The rest of the time we was on our knees and on

  518. our faces in the Word of God. Like I said, I appreciate God

  519. for this. I appreciate the Lord. I appreciate my pastor for this opportunity.

  520. You could be turning to the Book of Acts, chapter number four Acts,

  521. the fourth chapter. I told God I want to preach him, Happy

  522. God. I had about a half of pages a note. I don't know

  523. if you thought I was Maybe I was out of the will of God,

  524. but I was trying. First time I've ever written notes out of my book.

  525. Threw them in the trash can. I said, God, I have

  526. tears on my faces of God. I submit to your will because I couldn't

  527. get away from it, I said God, I wanted to preach a whippy

  528. I told my wife. When I was walking out, I said, man,

  529. I wanted to preach. Something happened, I really did, I promise

  530. you I did, ripped it out and said my trash can at the house

  531. without a half a page Acts chapter number four would start reading in verse number

  532. thirty three, And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of

  533. the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Neither was there

  534. any among them that lacked, for as many were possessors of land or houses,

  535. sold them and brought the prices of the things that was so, and

  536. laid them down at the apostles feed and distribution was made up unto every man

  537. according as he had need. These early believers they gave one hundred percent.

  538. They gave their all. They gave their everything, everything their hand they had,

  539. down to their houses and to their land. They gave everything to God.

  540. And I want to preach for just a little while here tonight. I

  541. ain't gonna hold you along on gaining by giving, gaining, by giving what

  542. you that your hand, and a God to help with you tonight. Gord,

  543. we asked right now that you would come into this place, God,

  544. that you would annoy these people. That's a place God, this people minded,

  545. Thank God, that you would be left to God, that you would

  546. help me and say only the things that you would have me to say,

  547. nothing more, nothing left, bringing glory honoring to you. We give you

  548. thanks, and I rend this place for you are worthy of all glory,

  549. of all honor and all praise, and Jesus wonderful name, we praise and

  550. give you glory. Amen and Amen. I don't plan on preaching anything new

  551. to you tonight, but how many This is an old well right here.

  552. The God as an old well that stood the tenth of time. And there's

  553. still fresh water in an old well. And that's what I want to do

  554. tonight. I want to pull a little in a fresh water out of an

  555. old well. This is a very familiar scripture, and this lines up with

  556. a king Saul holding back. He thought, he held back the good stuff.

  557. He thought, I'll keep the good stuff for sacrifice, and I'll keep

  558. the best of the lambs, and I'll keep the best of the flocks.

  559. Well, in our text it tells about the other church and their devotion to

  560. their savior, church family, and the needy. We read that those that

  561. had possessions sold the lands of the houses they broke, the proceeds to the

  562. apostles. They laid them at their feet, and the apostles would distribute throughout

  563. the church and throughout the community as they needed. As the poor needed,

  564. hell, they would distribute. This was not a mandatory sacrifice that I can

  565. read in the Book of Acts. It was not a mandatory. It was

  566. completely voluntary, but many were participating. There was many that caught the vision

  567. and said, I feel like I should do that. I feel like I

  568. should catch their burden and I should get on with them, and I should

  569. do what they're doing. Right. Well, this led to a snare to

  570. a man and a woman, a great snare because everyone else was doing it

  571. and they wanted to fit in. They wanted to do they didn't They didn't

  572. want to get left behind. So anonis is a fire. They devise a

  573. uh a plane, right. They wanted to fit in, but they didn't

  574. want to completely pay the price. Their heart wasn't completely surrendered to God's will

  575. or his plan for their life. But and they didn't want to be honest

  576. with themselves and everyone else. They devise a plan, and they plotted the

  577. sept of scheme to sell a possession of their own. I don't the Bible

  578. don't really tell us what it is. I don't know. Most people were

  579. selling their houses and their lands. So maybe it was a piece of land

  580. they had, maybe it was their house. I don't know, maybe it

  581. was another house they had, but they had a possession, and they devised

  582. this scheme to to fit in. They devised this scheme to not draw attention

  583. to themselves and just do what everyone else is doing. So they sell this

  584. possession, they keep a porcing for themselves, and the remaining balance they give

  585. to the apostles. And the problem they got in is that they said it

  586. was one hundred percent. So if they would have said, look, we've

  587. got this we want to do, and this we want to do, so

  588. we've kept a little bit back, but we do feel like giving this to

  589. the work of God. We do feel like giving it out to the work

  590. of God. I really believe they would have been fined. They said,

  591. God, bless you. They probably wouldn't have made it on the on the

  592. scripture. They probably would have never made it into the Book of Acts if

  593. they just if they just gave up that that portion, but they wouldn't have

  594. been in the shape that they were in. They wanted to give enough to

  595. the church to not raise suspicion. And many people will come to church and

  596. they'll clap their hands and they'll sing the backup creature just enough that they don't

  597. bring attention to that to the fact that they aren't wouldn't hundred percent worshiping God

  598. to the fullest extent the way we were called to do, the way we

  599. were called to give our everything to God through in their own holding the part

  600. for them, and they found their part to be demolished in the house of

  601. God. You can walk the talk, right, you can walk the walk

  602. and talk the talk and act you can look the part, but something can

  603. be missing on the inside. I'm sure Antonize, it's a fire that said,

  604. well, we sold it for this bunch, and everyone knows it was

  605. worth this amount. You know, if I look at most people's cars,

  606. I can get a pretty good guestiment or roughly what it's worth. If I

  607. look at people's houses. I can get a rough estimate of what it's worth.

  608. So whatever they sold their turp members, they knew roughly what it was

  609. worth. So I'm sure antonize is the fire had a little conversation, Well,

  610. if we give this bunch, it'll look like it they'll know we didn't

  611. give enough. If we give this much, it'll raise suspicion, like,

  612. did you really only sell it for that amount? Right? So they come

  613. up with the perfect amount of what they feel like is the perfect amount of

  614. giving. What they feel like is just enough to get a mine. What

  615. they feel like is just enough to get through to the next service. What

  616. they feel like just enough to give through to next year. You might think

  617. that you have everyone food, and I want you to listen to what I'm

  618. saying here tonight. I ain't up here to be in the air because there's

  619. some people in this house and need you get a hold of God, or

  620. you're gonna find to myself God of God. I ain't mad, and I

  621. ain't me. I told you I wanted to preach you happy. You think

  622. you have everyone food, Maybe your church family don't really lies. Just how

  623. much you are withholding from a complete surrender to God and one hundred percent sell

  624. out. If you want to gain the gifts of God, if you want

  625. to gain the gifts of eternal life, it will cost you everything. It

  626. cost my sweet Jesus everything, and it'll cost you the same. You're not

  627. sir in your all, then a lie. It's fool Peter. You think

  628. you're fooling this man of God. You think you're fooling your pastor. Peter

  629. Saul right through him, Peter Saul, right through the man. Peter said,

  630. why has Satan feeled my heart to you, the Holy Dove? And

  631. to keep back part of the price of the land. Need a sault right

  632. through their foolishness. I believe it's in the book of Mark. I don't

  633. have it wrote down, but I believe it's in the book of life Mark.

  634. God said, they armed me with their lips. Their heart's far from

  635. me. Right. You talk the talk, but your daily life shows different.

  636. You ain't constant that devil. You ought to appreciate everyone else, but

  637. you ain't talking child devils. I feel the power of God in this house.

  638. Your heart's far from it, your mind is right there. Matthew twenty

  639. three and twenty seven Jesus said, wanted to use cribs and pharisees hypocrites.

  640. You are like on the whitewashed suppulchers, which indeed up here beautiful outward,

  641. but are within full of dead men, bones and of all uncleanness. You

  642. think you've got it all figured out, then no one really knows where you

  643. are. You have a form of godliness. You got the form down.

  644. You got the getting here at five point thirty on Sunday evening to hit the

  645. leon down. You got the clap in your hands down home. You got

  646. the amen pastor preaching down home. You got the form down because you was

  647. raised in it, because you're seeing it. You see what everyone else is

  648. doing. Just like internist. There's a fire again. You got it down.

  649. But it takes more than coming to church. When the doors are open

  650. and tearing that I'm where I need to be. The clock will soon strike

  651. midnight. Time will come to a screeching hole. The eternity will run up

  652. behind it, grab of the torn He'll run out to the endless angels.

  653. I said. Time will come to a screeching hall, The eternity will run

  654. up behind it rather than a hard and it will run on for eternity,

  655. and you'll chance to sail out. Really time, the James will be over,

  656. the chance to make a complete surrender will be no more. Saul had

  657. his chance. Saul had a chance to do what Nott present, what God

  658. said, but he held back what what he thought was good for him.

  659. He held back what I thought was good for the people. What about that

  660. man Udicus? That boy wasn't he in the building? Wasn't he listened to

  661. a Paul apossel? Paul sat in a window, not really in tune with

  662. with with the service. He wasn't really paying attention to what the man of

  663. God was saying. He didn't have a grasp on it. And he falls

  664. asleep. The Bible says he falls down from the third law. He costs

  665. him his life. You read the rest of that. God has mercy holding

  666. thanks to apostle Paul and raises him back. But that does not change the

  667. fact, change the fact that he lost his life a right, His lack

  668. of interest, his lack of one hundred percent participation, costs him his life.

  669. What about demons? Do you think they're pastor Paul ever thought deep they

  670. ever called demons? Did he dreaming a little bit. They're in the church.

  671. They're in the church, and Demons is standing right there. Just let's

  672. go here. His God is suiting his tie on. His God is flesh.

  673. It's fresh, shined up, Floyd shines on. He's standing right there.

  674. Hey, man, Apostle Paul, we're at your church. Paul also

  675. to your says, what's on your mind? Demus, what are you thinking

  676. about? What's going on in there. I'm sure Paul pulled and reached for

  677. the man. I'm sure Paul gave one hundred percent. I'm sure Paul came

  678. everything he had because that was at work for with him. Jesus soon decided

  679. me, what Pastor's given one hundred percent to some of us. He's giving

  680. his own all to us. He's giving every waking moment of his life to

  681. us. But if we choose to walk out, if we choose to not

  682. surrender, if we choose to be like Dens and hold on to their love

  683. for the present world, no matter what Apostle Paul does, no matter what

  684. Pastor Howell does, you will be left. Eternity will dragging mend. I

  685. want to say this. I go to church because I love going to church,

  686. and days of death mark dragging me to church, our owner. The

  687. days of death, Ma'm dragging. I tell him forget to bed and give

  688. me death for church are over. I go to turk, but talk my

  689. love. I leave this way tall all love it. I read my Bible

  690. because I love it, and I pray to talk a love prayer. One

  691. sell out to God. If you've sold out, you will love it.

  692. If you've given home, you will love it. Don't play games with eternity.

  693. It's too close. Eternity is too close. We're not promised tomorrow.

  694. I got tired of doing just enough to feed in. I got tired of

  695. having the form but no power. Send the Bible. Read it right the

  696. way you get power with God. He's a complete surrender. Sohul story would

  697. have been all so different if he would have if he would have surrendered all

  698. to God and he would have gave one percent everything to God, he would

  699. have been so different. And a Nis as a fire would have been so

  700. different. They obviously didn't have no memorial service for d a Nis because in

  701. three hours the man was buried. His wife didn't even know it. You

  702. ain't thought about that, have you? God will give you power if you

  703. surrender completely and a Nius was only a shell of what he could have been

  704. in the in that in that early shirt day, He's only a memory.

  705. He's only a testimony of what not to do. Or are you going to

  706. be a testimony of what not to do? Or are you going to be

  707. a testimony that your what's it going? And your complete failure? I'm done.

  708. I felt the power of the Lord today. All it takes is we

  709. was hundred percent? Is that that much to offer when he came off for

  710. us? I know I'm young, and I don't know nothing. I'm only

  711. twenty six. When I'm telling you, I used to be where some of

  712. you are at. I used to do just enough to get by. I

  713. used to do just enough to fit in. I used to raise my hands

  714. just enough to not raise this pish. What's your story gonna be? What's

  715. your appetat? The want to read? I'm reminding of a story just now

  716. twenty fourteen. I believe it was a man by the name of Robert Vick

  717. escaped from a penitiary and the dead winter of north Worth's cold brother Jacob said

  718. it was below zero he was he escaping. I think he was on the

  719. run for twelve or thirteen hours. Said there was a store clerk in the

  720. town working late that night. Oh and a man brushes through the door says,

  721. hey, can I borrow your phone? The store clerk says yes,

  722. sure. They asked the store clerk later on. They said they have been

  723. looking for this man for about thirteen or fourteen hours. They said that the

  724. store clerk remembered a man said, come borrow your phone. Store clerk said,

  725. yeah, sure, just stand right here, don't go nowhere. He

  726. said, okay, I'll WoT he said and died a number. He said

  727. he remembers a man saying, hello, Yeah, my name is Robert vic.

  728. I'm the one y'all looking for. I'm the one that's been on the

  729. run. Come get me because I'm tired of being where I'm at. I'm

  730. tired of not being where i was supposed to be. I'm tired of being

  731. cold out here. He got tired of the run. He got tired of

  732. the fight. He got tired of fighting d will and kicking against the pricks.

  733. And he finally said, I surrender. What's he gonna be? Are

  734. you gonna tie it up? Say God, I surrender. I'm tired of

  735. running, I'm tired of fighting against your will. I surrender all this night.

  736. Why get it off? The altars are open. Is there someone that

  737. will move quick or the altar mm hm. The the case of complaining,

  738. some hope, that hope, by and
