20/20 Vision (Oh I see it now) - Bro Jeremy Howell 1-14-2024

Had them too, Okay, Brother Nathaniel Luke, Chapter number twenty four,

Verses number twenty five and twenty six. Then he said, under them,

old fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken,

all not Christ to have suffered these things and entered into His glory. Amen,

Brother jesse John, Chapter number three, verse number eighteen. He that

believeth on him is not condemned. But he that believeth not is condemned already,

because he hath not believed in the name of the Only begotten Son of

God. Amen. Have any of you know that unbelief is a sin?

All the sin of unbelief is so ugly. Let's stand for the reading of

our golden text. We will be reading verses number thirteen through fifteen. Verst.

In that twentieth chapter of psych Chronicles, the Bible said, in all

Judas stood before the Lord with their ones, their wives, and their children.

That sounds like what we're doing tonight. Then upon Jehazil, the son

of Zachariah, the son of Menaniah, the son of Jail, the son

of Matthetiah, a Levi, and the sons of Asaff came the spirit of

the Lord in the midst of the congregation. And he said, hearken ye

all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehasaphat. Thus

said the Lord unto you, be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of his

great multitude. For the battle is not yours, but God's. Dropping down

to the twentieth verse, notice this the twentieth chapter and the twentieth verse.

I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost title twenty twentieth vision in parentheses.

Oh I see it now, twenty twenty vision. Oh I see it

now. Twentieth chapter, twenty verse of Seco Chronicles. And they rose early

in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tacoa. And as they

went forth, Jehasifact stood and said, hear me, old Judah and the

inhabitants of Jerusalem, believe in the Lord your God, So shall you be

established. Here's my point number two. He would say, believe his prophets,

so shall ye prosper. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we love it,

we praise you, We thank you for the opportunity to be in the

house of the Lord God. I realize and recognize your power, and your

spirit is pleased. I recognize that you have already done so much in this

house of the Lord, as people have worshiped you and spirit at their truth,

as their hearts are just going to short the rapture and look it up

before you by your holy ghost power. I pray, Lord, as I

try to obey you tonight and preaching what you put on my heart, which

you please it north is thy servant, said of guard and my mouth,

and help me to say the things that you would have in the same,

nothing more or less, and not the ears of this doctor book, that

they might hear what it is the spirit of God saying, come to this

church tonight. I pray that these sayings would don't below the shoulders, they

don't get in that heart, that spirit, that soul God. I pray

that they would not be hearers only, but that they would heed these things

that are said today. We give you the praise and that honor the glory.

And may we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name

in the church says Amen. As you're being seated, look at your neighbors,

say hey, neighbor, do you see it? No? They don't

see it right now, but they will after a while. Our text is

found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Second

Chronicles. If there is a second book of Chronicles, then there must have

been a first book as well. In these two chronicles, the chronicler focuses

on preserving the record of the national history of Judah. In his recording,

you find many many things. You find the uprising of kings that would be

back. You find the uprising of kings that would be known as reformers,

great and mighty men of God. You'll find the ups and the downs of

the people of God. How many of you all feel like you're on a

spiritual roller coaster. You would admit by the raising of your hand that you're

not bipolar. Sometimes you're walking above cloud nine. We've lost sight of you.

You're just so high in God. And then sometimes you come into the

church house all but literally on your hands and knees, and you crawl into

the altar and just thank God that you have the opportunity to bring your bird

to the Lord. And as your brothers and sisters of life precious faith,

we have founded our privilege and pleasure to help you bear your burdens, and

so we know that this chronicler, he was honest in his recordings. In

these writings, you find that he kept nothing back. And because he held

nothing back, we have hope in our life. We have biblical examples that

we can pattern our lives after. Some of them, we do not want

to pattern our lives after. I know as I was reading through these two

books of the Bible, namely First and Second Chronicles, I noticed that this

nation had times of spiritual renewal and revival and refreshment, but they also had

times of spiritual decline, times of being deprived spiritually. There was a famine

for the word of God. Not in the days of Jehassapat, if you

would, Jehassapat dug out the word of God God, and he began to

push it and promote it as being a very valuable resource to his people.

The nation of Judah. You will find that there was spiritual deterioration on every

hand. And because of this, the Lord dispatched specially called and highly anointed

men. He deployed the special forces, if you will, and he dispatched

them to help his people pull out of their predicaments. You can see that

these men were heaven called, and heaven sense as to who they were.

Not Mama called, and Daddy said, like so many preachers we know of

today, they tuk tell and leave and depart the church, and depart the

faith so easily. Is because they were pushed out onto the stage of ministry

only to find themselves to be a terrible disappointment. Because without the empowerment of

the Holy Ghost, our efforts futile. I admit that to the Lord on

a daily basis. Every time before I step on this platform, I plead

with the Lord to please give me just a few words to say, because

I feel so unable to do what the Lord has commissioned me to do.

And Preacher, when you feel like you have arrived and you come to the

place that you've got something for everybody, and when it becomes about you who

have lost your ministry, it will never be about that, preacher. It

will be about those who he's ministering to, and ultimately it will be about

them being reunited with their Lord. We find that the chronicler let us know

that there were men who would be called seers or profits, men that had

the ability to tap in to the very mind of God. They could see

things and nobody else could see. They could feel when things were a rite

or amiss. They were men that were in touch and in tune with Almighty

God. If you have somebody coming to mind right now, you are blessed.

If you have somebody that you know of that can get a hold of

God. And I'm tired of hearing all of these testimonies of how it used

to be. I remember about fifteen years ago, I decided my grandchildren and

their generation will have the testimony that I heard so many old timers talk about

as we lost the power of God, and that generation, as they talked

about the ashes of the past, and they talked about what used to be,

we can find right here in this sacred writing. There were things that

took place that were available to people because they consulted the Lord's word. Also,

they consulted or counseled with the Seer, the prophet of God, that

man that had been called by the Lord. There was also another group of

people that surfaced at this time of spiritual deterioration, and they were known as

the Reformers. One of the biblical characters before us tonight is Jehasha Fah.

He is known as a reformer. You'll find that when this man's mother gave

birth, she named him literally, the Lord is judge. That sounds like

a good name for a reformer. Concerning this man, Jehasaphat, he became

king while he was in his thirties. Some scholars believed he was around the

age of thirty five, and some believe that he reigned over his people in

the nation of Judah for twenty five years. You don't stumble into that.

The Bible said that promotion called from the Lord, and that God is the

one that holds the heart of the king in the palm of his hand.

God allows men to come to power, and when God is finished with them,

whether he Joseph Biden or Donald Trump, God removes them from power.

There is a divine orchestrator. He is the providential God that you and I

serve. And so by divine providence these men they come to surface. Brother

Nathaniel from the depths of their prayer calls that they come out on fire,

literally fire brands of truth dispatched out of the portals of glory to cry out

against the sin of their people. There's no doubt they were hesitant or reluctant

to accept such a call. All throughout the Bible we tie me that were

hesitant or reluctant to answer the call from heaven. I remember when the call

first came into my life. I remember when heaven was summons and God told

them to ring Jeremy Howell's number. I was seventeen and a half years of

age when the Lord first commissioned me to preach. I ran until I was

the age of thirty before I was obedient to that heavenly calling. It is

true that perhaps I didn't have the proper spiritual leadership over me to mentor me,

or guide me, or nourish me in my calling. Perhaps it's true

that there was not anybody present to point me in the right direction or help

me climb the ladder of ministry. But nevertheless, brother Tyler, when I

was thirty years of age, finally I was obedient to the heavenly calling.

And so these reformers and these prophets, or these seers, they worked hand

in hand. You will remember the day, But said, I was glad

when they said it to me. Let us go into the house of the

Lord. David was not the prophet you will remember the prophet Samuel anointed and

appointed David to be king over Israel. In god stead. The prophet Samuel

spoke as the oracle or the mouthpiece of God. There was another seer walking

around during the lifetime of David, and his name was Nathan, the prophet.

He was not as popular as Samuel, because whenever Nathan knocked on your

door, brother, Nathan knock on the door over there, you could know

for sure that he had bad news. And you will remember that he passed

the bodyguards that were in the courtyard of the palace, and he walked raddel

up in there to the throne room and approached David. And he ended up

pointing a bony finger in the face of David and said, thou art demand.

David did not only one time refuse to touch God's anorted. In fact,

in that moment he refused to touch God's annorted. He would do no

bodily harm whatsoever to this prophet or this seer. And so at the time

of this writing you have this prophet named Jahslil. He is a prophet,

Brother rou Cap that people know this man is in touch and in tune with

God. Do you know also Jehosiphath is preaching, if you would, He's

not a prophet, but he's steering his people in the right direction. Again,

there's a difference between David and Nathan, or David and sam Yel.

There's a difference between jehosiphatht and this prophet that I speak God. The ministries

are different, and it does not matter whether you're a prophet or a preacher

or not. You should be standing form the same things that God has told

the prophet to stand for. There's a lot of problems today due to the

fire that parents refused to stand shoulder to shoulder with the prophet or the preacher

speaking. To study the New Testament. You'll find that this man, Johasile

fact, the Reformer, the son of Asa, he decided that he must

preach or speak out against idolatry and immrality the Bible student and readers amongst us.

Tonight we must admit that this reformer for his personal responsibility to tell those

people within his circle of influence, and oh how great and how large his

circle was, but he felt it was important to tell their people to go

back to what the prophet has said. They're in a pitch as the old

timers would put it, between of rock at a hard place, they found

themselves in a very difficult time of their life. They are surrounded by their

enemies. To Hoscify, had been building up a resistance against his closest neighbors.

Guess who that was? His own brothers and sisters. So to speaker

the nation of Israel, he had put up defentions against these people to keep

them from infiltraating her his revival in his country. I feel like there's a

lot of that gone home today. We're trying to protect the thought that God

has her assigned us to protect her. We're trying to watch over a handful

of sheep that has been assigned to us to protect her that unfortunately read her.

Like to Hoscifi, we sometimes have to say, I don't care how

they're doing it to him is we are. I don't care what their pastor,

the preacher and their keen is saying. I don't care what he's promoted.

I don't care what he's preaching about it. What matters is what's the

words of God saying their pine that he even knows this man is doing all

the good that he did and that he would fall in the line of the

great reformers. He's kind of place him in the line up when he's most

noted for his ability to point people in the right direction. And when he

puts them in the right direction, he puts them to the law of Moses,

which is not the progon of Moses. There the words of God.

He also punched him her to the preacher, all come home. Now.

If you look at our text, he is saying, there's two things we've

got to do in this situation. We need to believe for the words of

cod and we need to believe the oracle that God sent them through whatever that

preacher a truth and righteousness is declared to us, say, we've got to

have faith in it. We've got to believe in it. Hell, yes,

I'm the grandfather to a many grandchildren. I do not want to to

ever lie here in tenchery, how intensering to anyone, For the ladies there

are truly lieing. Prophet say out there to day this thing. You came

here under the sun, in the days that your hustle bat in the days

of David, in the days of Nathaniel, in the days a jessing.

There will be those false prophets, and there will be estep that be in

came of their doctrines. Oh yes, but that said, not discourage us

from believing the word of God. That said, not discourage us from believing

her that God steele. He calls me go stele Jesus men, and he

despoxes there seemingly out of the point of the glory for us. Jehosifaty put

great emphasis on the words of Moses, which were the words of God.

And he sent out priests and levies and told them take copies of the sacred

parchment and go into their houses and sit down in their presence, and introduced

him to these sacred writings that God has given us. When did we lose

the value of scripture? I can remember in the eighties almost every family had

a family Bible. There was the served piece of their living room. The

prodigal son and daughter when they visited down and bob, they saw all the

scriptures with a situl figure like a house. I'm telling you, when young

people were struggling and they were speaking of the house, they had to passer

the family Bible to get to their bedroom. If they smelled like smoker from

Nicotina, if they stir like alcohol. They had the passa the learn of

God. Why don't we do it? That's wrong when I spell and they're

telling the calling people back to steps her. What's wrong with that? What's

wrong with a living right? Can somebody tell me God, we're doing that?

So this man of God jehosta faty. He puts a special emphasis on

the words of God, and he sends out these messengers and says, instruct

them in the ways of the Lord. This man believed in the Lord and

his word. I want you to hold on to that key word tonight.

Believe. You must believe in your heart. I said it this morning.

The atheist that has refused to believe in God, even though they deny his

existence and feel that emptiness and vulld, they know their soul belongs to God.

And that atheist, when he gets to Hell, he is going to

have his wish granted. There will be no God, there will be that

presence of the Lord. There there will be no hand to the liver,

there be no ear to hear. Somebody pray if you want your kid to

hear somebody pleader from mercy? What about you? Are your eyes open to

the truth and are your ears to near to what God says? Forget about

the false prophets, Forget about the televangelist, forget about that when that does

wrong. Thin it about this and that, and believe in the worlds of

God. This man in to say, focus, let it come into you.

Focus on these words of this prophet, this seer, and the Bible

said, you are going to text. They rose early in the morning.

Do you know when your sleep escapes you? You have no problem at all

getting up early. When you've been up all night long with a problem.

When you receive a diagnosis and you receive a prognosis that's disappointing, sleep miscapes

you. I don't know that they had even even been asleep at all.

They had a problem on their hands. And the Bible said that they rose

up early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Takola. And

as they went forth to a hossle fact just stood. Their leaders stood up,

and he began to speak out, and he said, hear me.

Why would he have to say hear me? He pause? Obviously somebody was

not listening. The Bible said, if you're gonna have a faith increase,

you're gonna have to hear the word of God. This generation is full of

unbelief. This is a faithless and unbelieving generation. They have to distance that

there is no power in God. They're confissed of suffer. There's no reason

for the church. But what I felt to what I felt at six o'clock

to night, I want you to know I trod is real ol in my

soul. There's no tevil in hell that convince us otherwise hear me, and

then he calls about me. He didn't say, oh, Gentars or hear

me, but brother Israel. No, he's ministering to Judah and Bensham and

those two tribes that he's been appointed to preside over to lead and the God

in the Altruture. And he says, hear me, oh Judah and the

inhabitants up Jerusalem. What does the king have to say? What could be

so important that he would stop usself in our trinity to the wilderness? And

he says, the reave and the Lord your God, and so shall you

be estoutness to believe as prophets, and you shall prosper tho. Yes,

why are they even be reminded for what God said? Because somebody how they

already forgotten what Jehosi are. God said that they had wallowed in the wilderness

in their unbelief, just as the children of Israel after the Exodus, as

they left the land of Egypt headed to the land of Canaan. That these

people had allowed their hearts to be filled with unbelief. The devil goes to

get you to the point that you say, God has not hurt my prayer,

that Godness not cared that I have kept sure Godness not for her,

that I won't go on real failure, Godness not caring that I'm struggling with

breathlessness. God does not care that my political son and daughter. He's in

a car contint to tell or us to get to Sophie? Is any here

overordered? So that you wallow in hopelessness and despair in the midst of a

singing, Let's all mess. I can't say it, but I know that

I'll look this gay come that's I gotta believe in God. Man, you

don't believe that there's all come. Boy. This generation believes in everything but

Jesus. We believe in Santa Claus the Grinch. A man here, a

street preacher in a costume of the Grinch can't even tell people there's Santa isn't

real because there's little kids that have to believe in Santa, and that same

kid that they're trying to protect his believism. In about ten years, he's

gonna ask that involve why did you lie to me? A dozen peoples coming

to mind that are not holding us a Pentecostal people. They have told me

over the years that when they came to the knowledge of that Sannah was not

real, some of them wept and some of them cried that in time they

were filled with anger because her marm and dad had promoted something that was a

prayer retailer. I'm not promoting a praier retail him a life. I want

to call a pill of le and Sarah Harrison and every other person here we

a seriousness year for now. Is God the loved of God? It's true.

Believe in a second you never heard her, and it turns to you

leave that God is able, He's able to do him seeding the abundantly above

all, then we should ask her. Think that's what Daniel believes. Okay,

my God is able to deliver me from the den of lions, not

a lion. Then not a little den with one lion in it, but

a den full of lions. My God is able. The three Hebrew Union

will come out of that power one way or another. We will come out

either smell or not smoking, or we will come out as the barbecue.

But we do know this that our God is able to deliver us. The

question is not whether or not God is able. That's whether or nothing can

you believe? And that's not to the fact told the work. But who

can't believe? Oh, thank truck, what I said to have bla.

What's her response? Lord? I believe? Why my lad? It doesn't

answer me? Who believes cants him a win? Lord, help malay you

put somebody nor. I believe my child. They're spending dames and nats out

in this world. Yes, I believe her that they can return to their

right line. I kind of feel like Legion, who is no longer name

that praise the Lord. But I kind of feel like legion had a life

at home, chielded at home, and I'm sent there a good times,

brother Samuel, he had told me. And then I'm sure there were times

he was trying to gain entry into that house. Why were they trying to

find him with fetters and chains? If he'd been living in the graveyard.

Things had deteriorated old day one, things were not quite as bad as they

would be on day two. And I don't know how long you're rocked on,

they're better, same yard. They got tired of trying to find him.

Somebody came in the baca on the pickup truck and drove the wild man

out there into the backside of the cemetery. You know where all them tried

out the flowers are? You know where all them ald did for arrangements?

Are? You know where the old chuck is as somebody's storm, you know

up there in the chuckyard, the graveyard. There's nothing about that about the

poor her bones, her bone yard. When Jesus town, you know what

he knew. Jesus is here healthy and a bible said well, Jesus as

that look? Can get you to believe that it's not possible, then it's

unlikely. Then the devil has won your picture with me. The king?

Was he upon a camel? Was he riding upon a royal steed? Was

he being carried in some sort of car carriage? Markson some kind of coach?

Was the servant's carrying him? Was he being carried about on an elephant?

What was he riding in? But at some point he said, his

wins here, and he said, somebody stopped the donkey, or somebody stopped

the Arabian there, or somebody stopped they come on the mustaging studs. Somebody

stopped this vehicle, put the brakes on it. And I got to tell

people the only thing I can tell you is believe the word of God.

And remember what Joe has Ell said just a few days ago that the battle

is not ourson, The battle is the Lord will come on the multitude that

I surrounded, the nation of to you them's great. There's a great number

the people that's coming down upon them. They got one word in mine,

that's annihilation. We come to annihilator. Every so tall reporter. We talk

to Annihilator every the tippingess time. We talk to Annihilator and are so tall

that child of time. It is true, no matter who you are,

you still have to call out, Oh the Lord. We still have to

pray. There's a secret, we're power. There's a knocker on the door.

We'll have a that that's her. I can tell you. He would

say, you got to believe the words of God, and so shall you

be established. I'm telling you, this storm that's on the horizon looks like

a swarm of locusts. The dust cloth on the horizon is threatening to envelope

them and change their national history. It's going to change the background and the

landscape. They're not going in there to pass out girls' cout cookies. They're

not going in there to hand somebody a dunck and doughnuts donut. They're not

going in there to bring somebody a Starbucks coffee. I love that if they

do that for me, But brother Marcus, I've never had one of my

enemies try to bring me a Starbucks coffee. Now, has anybody ever had

your enemy? Sir, review that's your house with something you really the desire

know, they've got a whooping coming from the devil, and the devil will

shown no mercia, are you listening to me? To night? The odds

were against this King of Tudor and the people in his kingdom. A multitudor

soldiers and other nations are sworn in upon them, and these pisky pasta are

gonna come here and literally change They're last forever. Donna literally wipe them off

the face of the earth. That they don't get a hold of someone who

can help them, what will becoming us? They would say, Jesus can

help me, Jesus alone. For those of you that are suffering, going

through things, mind battles, spiritual battles, health battles, issues. You

need remember the lyrics of the old song that we find in this Church of

God written back him. No, I must tell Jesus all of my problems.

I must tell him all of my troubles. I must get that prayer

through, and I've already forgot what it was. But Jesus can help me

and Jesus alone. At this point, Jehosa Facta is not saying I can

help you. He cannot tell them that Jehzel can help them. What he

is saying Jehesel has already told us what we need to know. And that's

what God's been doing around here for the last few years. He's been speaking

to you in sermon specific give you what you need, every wording you needed,

every mess and trust to be a up your faith. Every mover of

the Holy Ghost should be a faith building. Every word you'ven tested a truth

should have been faithful to day. This generation's luck, the one Jesus basically

cursed and down. It's the faithless, unbelieving generation. This is why I

was so careful during the COVID pandemic not to be faithless. I wanted to

be believing, even though some people would take what I said and twisted.

I did not want to cow down in fear, because the Bible said the

fearful and the unbelieving have a special place reserved for them in the afterlife.

That does not include running happily down the street of gold or running through a

build of tulips to the church say Amen. And so I cannot afford to

lose my faith. And that's what the devil desired to do to Peter.

When Jesus came knocking on Peter's door, he said Peter sighed with me,

somebody come over here and get real close like John has. Get out way,

John, let me talk to Peter personally. Some of you need to

learn how to get out of the way so that Peter can be talked to.

Not for that pastor anyhow, But he said, Simon, Simon,

satan Hath desired to help have you, and Jesus got close enough that he

could not turn around. And I ain't talking to Jordan. I'm talking to

you, Simon, satan Hath desired to have you. No, I'm talking

to you that he might shift you as well. But I have prayed for

you. What was the prayer of Jesus. Don't let him have disbelief,

don't let him have unbelievable, he said. When I prayed that to God,

I pray that you're pat for Oh you not. Don't come on now.

I'm telling somebody in this beer that health Jesus could help you. Jesus

say better than anybody care. I pray for you that your faith at the

hossifacts, reminding them, Hey, you won't know. We've already heard the

midst of his people. His people shall not be moved. God shall help

that your son has cancer and that he's only twenty years of age. I

just want you to know that word and that has trickle through the movement and

has reached o'hie. He said, we've heard of other special needs that's going

on in your church, and we've heard that you all are in the thick

of it. Right now. He said, at seven o'clock our time the

night, we will have special prayer for your twenty year old son, and

we will have special prayer for the hollow family of the Bethel hold in this

church. Family, listen, not everybody has compromised. Then they ship,

you will not have done a time when there's a your hosiphatic, it's trying

to stand up for work, this wife, and he's trying to promote truth

to concious to sympathy. Calls her. He knows every generation health it's going

to need to hang on to a trail of pole. I say, every

preteneration he can't hang on thread of all. That's why they said, if

you have faith, that's the grain of a mustard. See just a teeny

Because God knows there's gonna be those times when you're saying, God, I'm

not trying to disbelieve, I'm not trying to shim, but I'm telling you

and he knew that I would have to take care of the house and that

and Homer he'd tell you some things that you did wrong, that you shouldn't

have done. But Homer Hindsight was twenty twenty and that's what I'm telling somebody

in this building right now, you might as well go ahead and get a

hold of this. Jahes has already spoke to you. God has already sent
