Leviticus mayd director attention to the eighteenth chapter and the twenty fourth verse. Brother
-
Nathaniel, First John Chapter number two, you'll be reading verses number fifteen through
-
seventeen, and Brother Jesse Second Corinthians, Chapter number six, verses number seventeen
-
and eighteen. Now, the Lord spoke this message into my heart when I
-
was in the presence of the brether in around four and thirty pm. Those
-
of you that were with me, you know what we were doing around that
-
time. We were planning on leaving around that time. But we were divinely
-
interrupted by another brother, an Hispanic brother that had been sent to that precise
-
location to stand at that very street corner where we were at. And he
-
arrived and immediately he went to shout from claiming the goodness of God. He
-
said, now I see, now, I see why the Lord put it
-
upon my heart to be right here at this very corner. A month ago.
-
The Lord said, Brother Sam and Brother Caleb down there, and they
-
asked me to go with them. We went down there and we prayed as
-
we drove for about ten minutes, and I felt like the Lord had said,
-
this will be the place where you preach. And they preached there and
-
the Lord really helped the woman there. We looked for her today, we
-
couldn't find her, but we did find her stuff. So that lets us
-
know. Barbara still in the area of Brother Jesse. I'm sure you see
-
her on a daily basis. If you speak to her, tell her.
-
We said to Howdy. After some time today of passing out so many tracks,
-
I don't know, Brother Star, they had to be hundreds and engaging
-
people and having personal evangelism and tracked ministry going on. As we're just about
-
to get into the vehicle, take a break and into the vehicle, here
-
comes that precious brother jumps out of the van and just goes right to where
-
we're all standing and just hollers the high phrases of God, glorifies the Lord,
-
screams it just as loud as he can. And he said, I
-
know that every day somebody is murdered, Earth dies right here of this block,
-
just beyond where we were preaching at. And he said, every single
-
day something terrible happens. We don't know you, but we're aware of that
-
fact. At his third world status right here in this particular area that we're
-
ministering in. He said, But I see it now, I see it
-
so clearly. And he said, I know that God has a plan for
-
a Marcoligue. This is a Hispanic brother that came from Mexico that was a
-
drug dealer when he got here. A drug user. He smoked marijuana for
-
two years, then went to the harder stuff and used came for five years.
-
He said. When he got to the States, his brother said,
-
there's no hope for you. You will never change. But he found the
-
Lord. The Lord found him. They fell in love with one another.
-
And as we preach and teach around here, it doesn't take God a year,
-
two, three, four or five years. He said, within three
-
months time he was born again, sanctify, holding yours field and preaching the
-
gospel. His mama said, I would have never believed it. I would
-
have never believed it unless I seen it. You have changed, You're a
-
new man. So brother Raphael was greatly encouraged as well as the brethren.
-
We were greatly encouraged as the Lord blessed. And I want y'all to know
-
we had church. Just before we broke out your celebrating and just praising God
-
at the block, a drunkard come out of the shadow it was his brother
-
Philip, brother Caleb, and brother Samuel were preaching, and he come out
-
of the shadows, out from under the old tree holding a starfoam cup that
-
had been full of alcohol, come stumbling over there to where we were standing,
-
and we would then administer to him, and he prayed to be saved.
-
Brother Raphael encouraged him to go ahead and pulled out the rest of that
-
beer that was in that cup. I'm telling the church and we just had
-
camp meeting down there. So we had a baby dedication ceremony today. We
-
had the formal ceremonial part of that message, the vows, and we just
-
fellowshiped for a while. We're brother christ Is to Debbie and other saints in
-
here. We got down there to KFC, had to wait for a while
-
for our food, but God's time it is impeccable. We finally were able
-
to preach for about an hour, counting Brother Raphael's visit and and preaching and
-
witnessing with us. And so at five o'clock I told Brother Raphael, I
-
said, we start church in an hour. I have to head north.
-
That's unusual for me to say that. I had to think about it just
-
then. I had to head north. Okay, so I had to head
-
to north. And this is as far as I plan to go north this
-
time of year. I don't like cold weather. I figured that out.
-
I don't like it at all. Two or three days of it's nice,
-
but I don't want to live in it. So we got here at five
-
thirty two. Church started at six o'clock. Brother Nathaniel, make sure he
-
started at six o'clock sharp. The Lord spoke this message into my heart at
-
four thirty. If I blunder tonight, it's jeremy. How will blunder?
-
God has nothing to do with it. But I just pray that I have
-
studied to ship myself approved under God, a workman in ned. It is
-
not to be ashamed, rightly divided the word of truth. I just prayed
-
that this message will be a blessing to you all. I want to pull
-
your focus on the testimony that you heard just before we changed the order of
-
the service from our worship and our praising of our Master to the preaching.
-
Brother Tyler stood up and in his testimony he spoke of sanctification. Brother Tyler,
-
run up here real quick, don't take long doing it. Run up
-
here, real quick. Is it in my notes or not? Sanctification?
-
One of the biggest words on the first page of my notes is sanctification.
-
I've known Old Tyler for about seventeen years. I've never heard him testify of
-
sanctification that I know of. But I know that we met Brother Raphael by
-
divine appointment. I know that tonight Brother Tyler hit the bull's eye in his
-
testimony. So can God use a Tabitha? He's sure? Can Can God
-
use a Tyler? He's sure? Can well happens When you get Tabatha Tyler
-
together, you have tn T right. So I believe God's gonna help us
-
right here in this service tonight, Brother Nathaniel first John Champion, number two,
-
verses number fifteen through seventeen. Love not the world, neither the things
-
that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love
-
of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world,
-
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and
-
the pride of life is not up the Father. But he's up the world.
-
The world passedeth away, and the lust thereof. But he that doeth
-
the will of God abideth forever. Read the first part of verse number fifteen,
-
love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
-
Doctor T. D. Jakes, is that you going out the back door?
-
Hain't tied right there? I know that's very offensive. Read the first
-
part of that verse again, love not the world, neither the things that
-
are in the world. Joe Olsting is at you, brother, going out
-
to that back door. Come here, body, let me preach to you
-
a little bit, all right, brother Jesse. Sec of Christians, chapter
-
number six, Verse number seventeen and eighteen. And for that self righteous sucker
-
that's listening to me, preach right now, and said Joel Oldstein at my
-
brother, he ain't mine either. It need a sense of humor, all
-
right, Go ahead, brother Jesse. Wherefore, come out from among them
-
and be ye separate, Saith the Lord and touch not the unclean thing.
-
And I will receive you and will be a father unto you, and you
-
shall be my sons and daughters. Saith the Lord Almighty. Do y'all think
-
the megachurch pastor would use those two scriptures as cotext and a servant. It's
-
highly unlikely that they would do. So let's stand for the reading of our
-
Golden Text. May this verse be lifted off of the pages of the sacred
-
writ before you. Even now, as your eyes focused upon the twenty fourth
-
verse of the eighteenth chapter, the Bible said, Defi'll not ye yourselves in
-
any of these things, for in all these the nations are defiled, which
-
I cast out before you. Wow. Wow. If you'll study this particular
-
chapter of the Book of a Leviticus, well, if you'll just study this
-
entire book of Leviticus, you will find that the theme of Leviticus is sanctification.
-
And there is a particular scripture in this book of the Bible that God
-
was speaking through his servant Moses, and was telling these people, don't you
-
keep the ways that you've learned. Don't you be like the Egyptians, And
-
don't you be like the Canaanites, in whose lands you're about to inhabit.
-
I want to preach on somebody, raise the standard. Let's pray. Heavenly
-
Father, we love and we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity
-
to be in the house of the Lord. I thank you Lord for this
-
thy people being present even on Sunday night. I'm glad that the beth the
-
hole in his church family has chosen to open the doors of this tabernacle for
-
whosoever will so they can come. I thank you for the presence of God.
-
I pray that you would anoint this thy servant said of God at my
-
mouth, and help me to say those things that you would happy to say,
-
nothing more or less anort the ears of this thy people, that they
-
might hear what it is the spirit saith unto this church this very night.
-
I pray God that we would not be hearers only, but that we would
-
be doers. Help us to love this word of truth. Help us to
-
hold on to every line of this precious book. I pray that we would
-
depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name. Amen. Now
-
we read verse number twenty four as our golden texts. Now, if you
-
will take a gander over there to verse number two, let's read that verse
-
as well as the third and fourth verses. The Bible said, speak unto
-
the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your
-
God. After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein needs well shall
-
ye not do. And after the doings of the land of Canaan. Whether
-
I bring you, shall ye not do, neither shall ye walk in their
-
ordinances. Ye shall do my judgments and keep my ordinances to walk therein.
-
I am the Lord your God. And let me ask you a question.
-
In fact, will you ask your neighbor this question, Hey, neighbor,
-
who do you belong to? Now? I want you to look at them
-
again and say, hey, neighbor, somebody needs to raise the standard.
-
I hope that each one in this building tonight is willing to raise the standards.
-
Sister how And I just spent some time in Miami, and certainly concerning
-
the restaurants down there, they have raised the bar or raised the standard concerning
-
food. Brother Tyler, you would feel like you were in the heaven concerning
-
food if you were in certain parts of Miami, especially the parts that we
-
were in. I've heard it said before that people have raised the standard in
-
their restaurants, They've raised the standards at their local business establishments. When you
-
say that you have a standard, that is a level of quality or attainment.
-
Our text has found an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the
-
Book of Leviticus. This book of the Bible is the third book of the
-
Old Testament. We don't have a lot of time tonight, so I will
-
keep this message short. To be honest with you. I don't have a
-
lot of time because I don't have a lot of notes, because the Lord's
-
served notice to me at four point thirty this evening to preach to you all
-
from this twenty fourth verse that says, defile not yourselves in any of these
-
things, where in all these things the nations are devolved, which I cast
-
out before you. That's a very serious statement. You know, the person
-
that is speaking there is not Moses. Right. You know that the person
-
speaking there is not Pastor and Owl right. You understand who this authoritative voice
-
is? Correct? It is the voice of God speaking to his people.
-
And so because I have limited notes that I'm totally relying upon the power of
-
the Holy Ghost tonight, this sermon might be briefed, but I want you
-
to know that somebody in this building needs to raise the standard in their life.
-
And as the pastor of the Bethel hol Iness Church, which is simply
-
an ownor shepherd under the chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ, who presides
-
over every affair of this holy place, I feel like I want to accept
-
God's challenge in raising the standard of the Holiness Church, because I feel like
-
the Lord is going to hold me personally accountable for how we conduct our lives,
-
for how we conduct worship in this sacred place, for how we live.
-
Like the Lord going to hold fathers and mothers and children accountable for how
-
they lived in this life. After all, these were the people of God.
-
These people claimed Abraham to be the visionary of their life. They were
-
living out a vision and a dream that their great great great grandfather Abraham had
-
had. They are totally relying on everything that the God of their forefathers,
-
namely Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, had told them about their personal relationship
-
and experiences with God. And then suddenly God himself makes himself known to them.
-
He gets personal, He doesn't pack them on the back and know he
-
challenges them to raise the bard, to raise the standard. Don't you think
-
God were pre will? I disagree with those people that feel like God just
-
split humanity down the middle and that according to the will of God, he
-
predestined Son the Girl into an eternal lake of pire. It said, other
-
people to go into eternal blins. I don't agree with that theology. I'm
-
thankful that we have a rill tonight. Is there anybody in this mill and
-
willing to raise the standard? Honestly, those people that own those businesses in
-
Miami, Florida, they were willing to raise the standard in order to attract
-
the celebrities that are in the area, to attract the government leaders that are
-
in that area, and to attract the poor tourists like myself that were spending
-
a little time down there in their area. And can I tell you that
-
because of this increase of standard what I'm familiar with in most places, I
-
was certainly enticed or a lord to partake of what they had to offer.
-
I need not feel like the church needs to lower the standard in order for
-
us to be effective weaknesses for God, We're not representing people that live on
-
the trash heap. We're representing a God that lives in a beautiful heaven,
-
a land of endless stay, a land of purity. And because it is
-
a pure land, it is a place that I want to live in.
-
It's not a place that I want to visit. I want to live there
-
eternally. I want my life for children to live there. Eternally. I
-
don't believe that it's God's plan that any man, woman, boy, or
-
live in that hellhole called the Lake of Fire. I feel like there's a
-
lot of people that are reaching you too, the hellhole, to choose their
-
preachers, to choose their teachers, to choose their ambassadors and representatives for Christianity
-
and of the Word, in order to evangelize the world. That's unnecessary and
-
that will not work. The world is seeking tired of sin. There's an
-
element of people in this world if they were only given the opportunity to hear
-
somebody proclaim the words of truth, they would say, what this freedom that
-
you're speaking of is for me? I mean, I do not have to
-
live in habitual sin. You mean I do not have to feel deity and
-
bury every bad in my life? You mean, preacher, I can go
-
to bed at night with a crystal clear and a clean conscience. Yes,
-
sir, I'm telling you. Preachers say you ought to pull your messages up
-
and out of the cutter. They get those messages sat the pilot by a
-
rushing her or a water on a world head that preached some sactiplication to a
-
world that's looking for separation. That's what talked up when his son and said
-
Abraham out or the early counties. He said, get up, they get
-
out, get away from these people. Separates yourself from this world. Unto
-
me, the message of sactiplication is not a message that was both up to
-
Acosta. It is a messager that the patriots like Abraham and Jacob, that
-
Israel caring me deal and brother Cheerma. They tossed it on down to the
-
proference of the Old Testament. They passed that torture on down to the New
-
Testament preachers, and they've handed it to us. The message a sanctification should
-
not be outs in retail to the people. Head of distituation, Joe prezza,
-
a message of sanctification, now a pizza, a message of satiplication.
-
And we too, he must preacher that that man that comes stumming her up
-
to us, and Holy care, we can tell he, Okay, you
-
can be liberated from your truckingness. You can't be ship breed from your seal.
-
You don't have to die in a truck and stupid l You can walk
-
her, you know that, rest and sober, And that's what he did.
-
He went on having a cuppull of alcohol to walking and the rest of
-
her with a soft rick in his hand. I'm telling you God, to
-
your red. I tell these preachers a lot of times, don't deed them
-
sugar cookies, feed of manner from heaven. Notice to whom the Lord is
-
speaking. He's not speaking to the papers. He's not speaking to the neighboring
-
nations, Brother Nathaniel. He is speaking to people who should know better.
-
He's speaking of people who should recognize his voice. When he says the word
-
sactification, that she should turn its head. They say, I recognize her
-
the minister and the message of sactification. We're notsperson who professes to be a
-
sheeper. They get up and welcome out of a church service where there is
-
a special Implicis he put on sanctofication here? That dost not disappoint me so
-
much as when I see somebody that's gonna raised her in church a hold and
-
alive, and somebody puts it an impressens he sanctoflication. They squirreed in their
-
food, they eased their way out. I want you know it's gonna be
-
sanctofication or heal. It was that way for Abraham. He happy get out
-
there and get out. If fact is gonna bless him, he with Isaaca
-
be my supposed to raise the standard. I said that he was my supposal
-
raised the standard. It will never be a propise. Somebody raised the stand.
-
Somebody left that level of quality. If you're treating board again, you
-
will come out squeaky clean. As our hispanic brother said today, un less
-
than too much talent, ignorant boy who did not even acknowledge that God existed,
-
knew that he that lived inside of him was real and knew that what
-
was inside of him testify of the letter that was in this book. And
-
he said, I had on top of it all alighting my lifstyle with the
-
word of talk from old man to a really expect he talk to the light,
-
consult to our lotst time. That's my abel. Help must come out.
-
That's why Moses said there must be a tribal people nor as the reviser,
-
there must be separated right here around these twelve tribes. We needed a
-
rival that is separated. And cannot tell you those people were separated for service.
-
And there were some people that could sing because they were not a levite.
-
There were some people that could not preach because they were not Levite.
-
There were some people not permitted to play instruments because they were not a Levite.
-
You don't have to be a Hawlight, a Wallashite, a road Capite,
-
or a wood Ane or an Edward's or a Harrisonite or a Sterodite or
-
a Baladanite. You don't have to have the right last name or have the
-
right pedigree to be used to cop And it does not matter what tribe you
-
belonged to. The standing that God set for, God raises it. And
-
what's good for a Glesa who could put it down there? I stood combody,
-
it's took kaba. Let's good for her patient. It's good for the
-
painting so let's good for the lever. It's good for the trauma tuba.
-
Let's good for the trauma tuba. It's good for the trauma. That's a
-
car. I want you to know, not to Somebody needs to raise the
-
standard for bodys don't get to prove, and we need to raise the stand.
-
If these restaurants in this worderful city of label we're not offering the quality
-
of food that they offer. I could preach to them tonight, but I
-
frequent these local establishments. Every day, Sister how and I eat lunch at
-
one of these places of business right here in Label. Every time I bought
-
Guess, with the Lord being my helper, I buy in Libel. If
-
I'm down to fifteen miles until empty, I will go right through Alpha and
-
push it all the way in Libel. That doesn't happen very often. For
-
that sucker, that's being judgmental right now. I wish you'd pick your nose
-
and eat that burger because you're a burger. I'm telling you, I wish
-
God to pick his and eat you. Amen. I feel I kick back
-
sometime, self righteous judgmental person, But I'm telling inconcerning the food by the
-
people here in Label that prepare for their customers, they really have raised the
-
bar. When God first summons me to come down here to Label, I
-
was a little bit concerned until I realize I had found that these libelions flat
-
out know how to cook. If they're church people or if they're not church
-
people. This culture, it's a very culture area. You wouldn't think the
-
red nex of the Bell could cook. But I'm telling you, Aunt Tebimah
-
has to sit back and watch these crackers cook her, and I would say,
-
even Aunt Tibama would say, I know that somebody cook Pixons right there.
-
I can't preach this message to the restaurant tears of the bell because every
-
timer I'll go you there, I'm not had a slight complaint about the price,
-
but I've never had any problem and all of the food. And I
-
want you to know her. It should not be setting when we go in
-
the churches that call him something the house of worship, or should I have
-
any problem and all with the spiritual archaser that are being served. Oh,
-
my God in Heaven, I'm telling you somebody is the way, He's the
-
standard. Somebody needs to go ahead, what blight, preacher. We need
-
some credid for everybody, now right, take up, preach, preach,
-
study, preacher. That's what God was gearing up the ministerial team in the
-
wilderness. He said, any many miny moo, moo, leviticus bo lead
-
rites mo, levitical priesthood mo. We need more with a holiness standard.
-
We need more people with a holy standard. Because somebody saying, Amen,
-
you see this entire book, it's nothing but a message of sactification. Better
-
row capitalist Sunday school teacher. But Nothaniel Howard, you're a Sunday school teacher.
-
Brother Chelsea, you're a Sunday school superintendent. You guys would know that
-
the pity because issues are called to Holy Laddy from their fury first versa to
-
the fary last. In fact, the first person on the first chapter of
-
the Book of Limited, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not there. But
-
it speaks of God speaking to Moses. But God did not stop there.
-
You say, when it's okay from a how Live, it's okay that the
-
first lady who raised the standard that I don't want to. I don't believe
-
these creatures are right when they're saying you can remate however you want to.
-
But the ministry his head to her a high standard. That's Old Testament theology.
-
And even there that's untrue her and not entirely her correct, because whether
-
or not you are vota, you are expected to keep them because man,
-
that's a God, and you, as a child of comper, districts him.
-
It's the bumper that keeps you inside of the poultry. Somebody lays the
-
standard. This entire book, one of sixty six is dedicated to the theme
-
of Sactification and Exodus chapter number twelve and verse number forty. It riches that
-
the Israelites have spent over four hundred years in Egypt, and for those in
-
life to debate things. Some say that they only spend two hundred and ten
-
years in Ghoshen. Others say they spent four hundred years. Others say they
-
spent some four hundred and thirty years. But if you look there Exodus chapter
-
number twenty verst of forty, we'll just say that they spent some four hundred
-
years between twenty and port me and Godsaip. Wherever you were at at any
-
given time, I hope you did not learn the rays of the filthy leader
-
and the righteous. That's what we need to summarize me. You should not
-
learn the racer of the wicked. The Bible said in the Book of Pipers,
-
to not learn the racer of the angry man, lest you get to
-
the sturdy a soul. My God, if we're not supposed to learn that
-
the rays of the angry man, surely we're not to learn the racer of
-
the trucker. The stop man Dutch go think the trucker added till surely lock
-
somebody raised us standard. They have come committed and consistently lowered the standard.
-
Y'all know it's true, Sister Will whenever I think about how the standard was
-
in the eighties and I compare it to the standard now, I'll tell you
-
the inspiration for tonight's sermon. A friend of my name Bob Coop. He's
-
a worldwide missionary and belongs to the Charismatic movement. For some reason, he
-
has been listening to our sermons on the internet. He messaged me this past
-
week and said, Pastor Howell, we need your kind of fire repreaching in
-
Paris, France. He said, I'm telling you there is not a single
-
church over here that would accept the preaching of the apostles or Pastor Howell.
-
They do not want to accept the fact that God requires sat the god living
-
of his holy people. I remember there used to be attract or hand out
-
that the Church of God Cleveland, Tennessee, used to hand out to their
-
people before bringing them to membership. And the track of the handbook that they
-
were to read was this is a holy standard up living for God's people.
-
And as you opened it up you could read of how they, as leaders
-
of the Church of God, expected those who help membership to live while they
-
had membership in the Church of God. But in my lifetime I watched before
-
the end of the nineties and before the Why two came birth threatened us.
-
In a year two thousand, that little handbook or pamphlet disappeared. And now
-
when I'm making reappear, they don't want to see it, they don't want
-
to read it. There a sense they started doing the way with it.
-
I see the lover another standard. I want them to know some of their
-
grandparents and possibly some of their parents would roll over and over in their grave
-
if they knew what was doing on there and what they called church. And
-
those A timers would say, that is not a church house, that is
-
a hell house. We don't have to brea the power routine in our church
-
to entertain the Satan or the center. We don't have to bream there lots
-
and shows and come on mana her Trauma and my team say into the church
-
up to entertain saints and sinners. Say what they're needing is hey, a
-
sharp sword man, a shepherd than any two urchant sword man. It's told
-
the Bible, somebody approach to me, Hey, somebody tell me that I
-
can be set apart here from this wall there from the God. Missionary.
-
Coop goes on to say, I've preached in many places all over the world,
-
remote villages here and there, taiwand China. He guessed it writing he's
-
of an Oriental background. This man travels every single day to some place new.
-
He preaches in the mega churches, he preaches in village churches, he
-
preaches in people's living rooms. I'm not his judge. I don't know how
-
he stands with the Lord. That's not my point. Mister critical Christian,
-
this listening right now, But I'm telling you he's been listening to some preaching.
-
He's been tuning in to Brother Jeremiah Howell's podcast that I have nothing to
-
do with. And he said this is the kind of preaching they need in
-
Paris, Prince, and I said, well that's need. I thought about
-
going over there for my thirtieth wedding anniversary. He said this place is perfect
-
for that. I said, well, I'm planning on going at the Lord
-
will be my helper, but I don't know about get over there. And
-
he sent me about twenty different sites that I could visit, and about six
-
or seven is exquisite hotels and restaurants that's near the Louver and near the Eiffel
-
Tower and near all this. And he just showed me what was on the
-
menu. He literally showed me how cozy the bends were. He showed me
-
how nice the restaurant was. This guy went out of his way to get
-
me to go over there to Paris, France, because he knows more than
-
likely if I get over there and the hole it goes cuts me looser and
-
it gets me in the saddle of one of them churches, I'm probably gonna
-
accept that invitation and say a little bit of bonjour and parliavood from saying colon
-
tamples too, and just try to connect with my people because y'all know my
-
granddaddy's last name was Dan Pierre, right, they say that our people are
-
of a French ancestry. I don't know if God's working in that or not.
-
But whenever he got done sending me all of these wonderful places that he
-
wanted me to consider to visit, what he called romantic getaways and romantic anniversary
-
places, Brother Wallason, after he said that, he put and Pastor Howell
-
to so you know all of this is by a worldly standard, and that's
-
been burning in my soul ever since he offered that clarification for the Holiness Preacher.
-
It's basically pre stating, this might not be good to your palette,
-
this might not be pleasing to your eye. This not be a picture to
-
you and your pri sister Howell, and today when we were talking that brother,
-
he's such something that reminded me of what missionary Boy could have said.
-
And I said, Bless God, we might be standing right here in the
-
middle of a text chapel and not self conscious person listening. Who right,
-
God back from the like we were through this. If we are seeing what
-
tacked over to day, if we have seen God save the go truckle to
-
day, if you have seen that brother can let us through her followed high
-
pot you what not save her? That's poll that, sir. I said,
-
no, not saying that's go. The whole Bible has a theme of
-
sanctification, Sisters, when you walk through town, I am not a saved
-
of God, that burner of sacofication. I noticed when we really missed of
-
all them hooperes Adams truckers than people. Every now and then they're going a
-
Hispanic man when the Bible tucked under his arm. I'm telling you, he
-
looked like a preacher. He looked like a Christian. And I think to
-
myself, there goes a holy person to lie a goal. Maybe a Haitian
-
sister and a Hispanic sister walking somewhere through the neighborhood are down in the door
-
to a house of worship. They were professor Christians. I'd see that long
-
forward hair, I'd see them extended garments, And I realize that your father
-
and your sister and your wife ain't the only one who raising the standard for
-
each and Allison. I really, my sister Teresa ain't the only one who
-
raising the standard. And I probably have a whole the cross of pride.
-
He said, Pray for your sister. Let's see her in heaven. Pay
-
for your brother, Let's see heaven in heaven. And I said, blessed
-
Tom. There cause her some homely people. I set there and cause her
-
something holding, holdingness that's not calling out, starting some more holding that's not
-
calling home. Ah, don't stop. There will come a time that the
-
jingle of the horses bridle will testify holiness will cometh this woman. They won't
-
to drag themselves through the mud, puddles and the sewage in this world and
-
then expect to go to God's heaven. God doesn't have a street sweeper.
-
God doesn't have a janitor in heaven. How do you know that, brother
-
Jacob, isn't that wonderful to know you'll be unemployed in heaven? Us to
-
work in this man that I have ever seen, he works hard, It
-
won't work. He works hard for me. He works for me on the
-
side, probably makes abut as much money sometimes with me as he does Walmart.
-
But when I'm going to Walmart, I don't see a man tattooed from
-
him. To tell now, like that one brother said today, God saved
-
him. And if God saves you and you got tattoos all over your body,
-
that's between you and God. But as the temple of God, we
-
should not be graffeeding our temple. We should not be tattooing our temple.
-
This body belongs to God. I'm telling you, I don't need to Hell's
-
angels coming in here and puts some muscles or rocking holy motors outside. I
-
got the power of the Holy ghost, don't display here, And we got
-
the power of the Holy Ghost thundering inside of this church house. I remember
-
in the nineties watching Thesemblies of Gods and the Church of Gods and all the
-
Pentecostal people and even liberal churches and charismatic churches. I watched them compromise,
-
and they came to the pressure of bringing the Power Team in. Some of
-
you don't even know what I'm speaking of, but I've seen the Power Team
-
live. Those men would come in and they were bodybuilders, and they'd have
-
them little skin he tank tops on, and they'd walk around and talk to
-
everybody like ma'am, hey, guy, you know, and Sylvester Stallone jargon
-
and verbiage, and they just tried to ghetto if you would, and bruh,
-
you know the message, and you try to relate to the young men.
-
Well of all of my peers that sit there and listen to them,
-
try to tell us about Jesus, Brother Jesse. I don't know them,
-
but just a couple that are saving and sanctified and Holy Ghost feeling. And
-
the power team has coming on. And they may not be laying on beds
-
and nails anymore. They may not be blowing up hot water bottles anymore.
-
They would talk about how if they stopped blowing at any point, it would
-
back poe into their lungs and their lungs would burst. Somebody give the drunk
-
roll, and how poems are stuck switting, and we say, oh my
-
this God, Hey, the circus had a better show than they did.
-
What God wants us to do is fire the circus, and we need to
-
get these circus performers out of the House of God that I'm come on,
-
we don't need a mind teamer or a trauma team or a power teamer.
-
He another color team to come in here. I'm telling you, the Holy
-
Ghost has got it. The powerful word at tap that hand of the Somebody
-
just needs to lift the standard, I said. Somebody only needs to raise
-
the standard. The Word of God is the standard of living to God's people,
-
not only this one book, but the sixty five other books of the
-
Bible. Should I stop preaching or should I continue preaching? I'll see a
-
temptation to compromise throughout DeLand amongst my generation and below below the age of fifty.
-
Now, the reason why they're struggling with that temptation, it's because the
-
generation before us lowered the standard a little bit, and the generation before them
-
lowered the standard a little bit. Now, I want you to know that
-
any time you decrease this thing, it's becoming less and less honing than it
-
was when God said it. God sends the standard. We do not measure
-
ourselves by one another. The Bible said, if you measure yourself or compare
-
yourself by another standard, you're unwise in doing that. You can say that
-
I'm better than the Hell's angels representatives teaching in church. You can say I'm
-
better. There's somebody wears some shorty shorts and are take top ministered in church.
-
But God says, put the mirror right there in your face, put
-
the word of God, and measure you yourself. To Jesus, we are
-
to imitate the Manual. We are to emulate God's only son. That's why
-
it came on this latter time to show us up. It can't be done.
-
As these young preachers were preaching today. I said, God, you
-
took what really weren't ignorant people concerning Juday is you took ignorant and unlearned fishermen.
-
They definitely knew the Jewish law. They definitely knew the toraph They knew
-
the ins and outs of Judaism. They knew a lot of things about the
-
all Moses and the law of God. That's why they were chosen, just
-
like a fossil taw. They were not totally ignorant, just scriptures. But
-
I said, God, the way you took those men and transformed them and
-
made them into miny messengers. And this morning I mentioned Tabitha, that sweet
-
saying of God being left in their wake. Hey, it will not destroy
-
you if you're made of the right metal. I've seen people come and go.
-
The reason why they left is because they could not take the heat or
-
the pressure of the word of God. My personality of itself will not pressure
-
somebody to leave the church. But the pressure in the pressure cooking or the
-
word of God will challenge people and touch people. It will drag them by
-
the neck of their knuckle to the standard and say, ah, you meursuring
-
up or a preacher that takes the rule of or the measuring stick of the
-
Lord, or come on, this ain't no yard stick. I'm telling you.
-
This is the nasural God that every child of God, within Christianity and
-
humanity, the past pressure and to care will be touched by when it says
-
will be touched by the bucks, it's just that will be judged by the
-
books. What do y'all think Boll's got another library auf there somewhere that we're
-
ignorant to the teachings therein. We're gonna be judged by the book. They're
-
gonna search the book over and over again at the request of someone who said,
-
I know Jesus was there, and little old feeble sister Tabitha's gonna come
-
over there and say, you know what, I was a fighter. I
-
refused the waller. I'm a warrior, and I was a fighter, and
-
I took lemons and made lemonade. I knew what it was like to have
-
the little tattered garments of windhood. Y'all remember what I preached this morning about
-
the scent and the stench of widowhood. Oh sweet Lamb of God. But
-
that sweetness, preacher, I do believe there are times we have with shouting
-
services, and we pour in the old and we pour in the wine.
-
But then there's times of unintentioned me or maybe perhaps intensely for some of you
-
preachers, that sword gets pulled out and it cuts somebody and you see them
-
hit the altar and they hold that gaping wound and they say, that hit
-
me right where it needed to. That spiritual cancerous growth, that spiritual canker
-
was severed from my soul. Today I saw Brother Christian would melt like a
-
piece of cotton candy in front of the sun today when the power God God
-
on him. And I was thinking, as every brother cheer of mine was
-
being influenced by the Holy Ghost of boy as you do not realize how close
-
they are, do their brother Gabriel? I thought that very point. Right
-
then, you guys were literally three or five seconds from being lost in the
-
presence of the whole Holy Ghost. I remember myself coming to that place,
-
coming to that place, I said, God, if I ever get there
-
again, I won't forget to about everybody else in the building. And I'm
-
just going to get lost in your prayersence. If I have to find the
-
through tears, Oh come, if you won't be the first not to experience
-
that, that's what weary to stupid? Where how you leaving you? Where
-
have you put it? If I have to fighting to you unspeakable joy,
-
I don't let how you discover him, but I want to just go ahead
-
and left the standard her prayer and raise the standard or sactiplication, and that
-
praise her and just can't ahead her and be filled with God, holding nothing
-
back, holding nothing back. The word of Vinicus is similar to the word
-
and levine, is it not? It is because it's speaking to a sanctified
-
or separated people, people that had been set aside for service. Know ye
-
not that your body's a temple the hold it goes, Know you not?
-
Also that you're a royal, a chosen generation, that every single bell in
-
this building is the royal priest over your home. That you are walking in
-
the priesthood of Christianity drinkings. You're preaching a lot louder than our preaching,
-
says the lit And I lost something right there. Hey, have you ever
-
lost the anchor outside of a boat? Been riding hit a wave and their
-
goods anchor and you just see the rope peeling off, Sister Walker, I
-
used to take six kid's fission just to hold hunker down right beside me and
-
grab a hold of me, because she knew if I threw us out of
-
the boat, she was gonna have a hold of me. And I tell
-
them kids, you better sit down because when you're in a bass boat,
-
your cruising forty miles an hour, haling the fast we is going, and
-
you hit one ripple of grow, it will joy your backbone. And if
-
your name was Samuel hamwell, when it does and it slightly pinches your spinal
-
cord through story, you will go just like this, it'll hurt. It's
-
just let somebody drop in your tailbone on a rock. I hotly don't say
-
that's how some of you all have been tonight, will I'll breaching on something
-
to percasions. But we need some any many of my mole levites. We
-
need some mob over hill, right, we need some more levits. We
-
don't need any more hid tights, high bytes, eat themtes, amber rights
-
mites, And can I say this, Holy rollers, we don't need any
-
types in the House of God. If we're gonna have tights around here,
-
it's gonna be for me tie it down so tight on you. We'll say
-
that's too tight. Uh. But brother Starre, when we're riding that boat
-
up and down it would go. Then there'd be this wave out of sink.
-
We weren't expecting it, and that old anchored bounce brother ej right out
-
of the floor of that boat, right over the board, and I'd see
-
that old lion peeling out. I said, everyone to anchor, and I'd
-
say, it's the sister. How don't let that road get around one of
-
them little ankles. All kinds of things that happen bad things can happen to
-
good people. Things can go work. I went to the first grade of
-
evangel Christian School in Lake Clubs, but Doctor Colonel Straders is Christian School.
-
We started school with a pupil. It was in a class next door to
-
hours. I was in first grade, he was in first grade. There
-
was second I think it was first grade, and brother Jesse he started school
-
with two letgers. About a month or two later we noticed he wasn't coming
-
to school for a few weeks. Finally, back then, people didn't talk
-
about things like they do today. Somebody raised the stand. People didn't gossip,
-
they didn't talk. They kept their business to themselves. Anyhow, they
-
said, we've got a special visitor. I can't remember his name. I'm
-
old enough now that I forgot it. But they brought him in on just
-
a little board with some castors underneath. The cast at each corner and they
-
drug him in and it's like slid, makeshift slid, and he was bits
-
of both legs and one of us asked him, said what happened? He
-
said, I was off for dad, mom, and I fell out of
-
the boat and the boat somehow twisted. Just a freak accident, cut both
-
of my legs off. Mom's and dads, you better be careful who's feeding
-
your kids. Y'all heard about that little girl that came from one of them
-
immigration to camps came to the United States. Her mother just got tired,
-
so tired of her children barely barely surviving from one of them migrant camps from
-
overseas. Brothers stared, I don't want to say, like ethio bear a
-
hat to some camp where they all lived lived on just green cracked corn with
-
some water in it. She got tired and brought a little baby to the
-
United States with her and rented an apartment from a greedy man that knew that
-
there was something wrong on that front porch concerning the paint. After about two
-
months of staying there, that little Haitian girl took a speller and they took
-
her to the doctor and after a few hours she died. They buried her,
-
but they noticed that the toxology reports that she had enormous high, enormously
-
high levels of lead in her blood, like your sister had been dealing with.
-
And so the mother she wept and she cried and said, where did
-
this child come into contact with this lead? They checked that house from front
-
to back, every wall, every bed, every piece of front nature no
-
sign of lead. Then, over the course of time, somebody thought,
-
wait a minute, and this brother's testimony, she said the child boved to
-
be outside on the porch. The investigator ran to the house and went up
-
on the porch and took a paint sample. And then that paint sample they
-
found high levels popping that. Now there are high levels of lead and a
-
lot of preaching, toxins, pollutants, and poisons. I brother, air
-
on the side of just pure water. I'm telling you, you set your
-
child down in front of that television set, you'd be better off hooking them
-
up to a popline of sewage garbage you in or a bit child. And
-
then parents wonder what happened, what happened to my little child? Because that
-
preacher Clarence Sexton, in his book said that somebody that commits suicide going to
-
happen. I know there's been a few instances where somebody may have had a
-
brain tumor and weren't in their right mind, had a seizure and maybe accidentally
-
killed themselves. I used to get on this topic a lot when I evangelized,
-
and I didn't know why. But I want you to know you cannot
-
be preaching that stuff the children and expect them not to kill themselves. I
-
had some Doctor Clarence sext of books in my office and I threw them in
-
file thirteen. Does anybody didn't know what file thirteen is? That is the
-
trash can I'm telling you what we need to do with some of the sermons
-
of some of these preachers of yesteryear and today, and some of the doctors
-
of the devils that will be preaching in the future. We need to wipe
-
them up, just like we would any piece of trash, and we need
-
to throw it in the garbage town. Is there anybody in this house right
-
now I'm telling you that wonder why they're losing their children, why they're not
-
raising up holy men of God, why they're not groovemen. I'm talking about
-
wonderful people of God preparing people for ministry. That's what happens when you're stuffing
-
them for spiritual land. That mother come to find out, the investigators proved,
-
after pulling the l lords of files, that he had forged her name,
-
and he had said that she had been served on paper that told her
-
that there was a risk of lead poisoning owned that porch. That was not
-
in her handwriting. He had forged that he had wrote that and calls that
-
child's death because he didn't want to spit whatever it was sixty dollars of olsome
-
painter to repaint the porture. How do you know what's in that spirit of
-
that cuture that's coming up paints, that's messing things. Oh, come on,
-
now, we are little lots of babies. The balls and runs are
-
nostalsis being come love? Oh no, I love somebody? Food be bad
-
from heaven? Her not leading her from hell? Said I keep preaching the
-
ship we roll out. You see in our texts we find that these people
-
have spent too much time in Egypt. There's people spending too many times in
-
these worldly churches. Notice I did not say worldly class like churches. They're
-
no different than the Hindu temples. They're no different than the Pagan shines.
-
They're just simply coming places for worldly people, a ceremony impostor Jesus. And
-
that's what Moses had been told by the Lord. You tell these people they
-
spent way too much time in Egypt when it was two hundred and ten years.
-
You need to go spending so much time on the Internet trying to figure
-
out this and that. There's somebody in this building. It's not a new
-
brother, it's not Brother John, but there's somebody in this building. You
-
overthink everything. I'm telling you. The food of the rafer man shall not
-
err in the ways of God. If they would bleed this fireable. Literally,
-
they believe every chapter, every purse, and praise God. They wait
-
at Heaven living clean life. You overthink everything. You spend way too much
-
time on Google and not enough pople. You can find fault for some of
-
these in this build of worshiping God and speared in the truth emotionally. But
-
I do want you to understand they might be limited intellectually, but whether you're
-
worshiping God intellectually, writing the paper, writing a thesis, write in the
-
Gospel book, writing a sermon outline, whether you're worshiping him intellectually through apologetics
-
or come on reputation of doctor Ohresies, or whether you're worshiping him immersly.
-
You like to deal with all of your heart, no soul wighty. If
-
you all loss somebody to call off with him for worshiping him, what coruspy
-
or why you're preaching. Don't call out with anybody that's worshiping Him with every
-
power for her gain in no city. In fact, some of us powerful
-
people ain't God I ever knew, were not intellectuals. Because the Bible said
-
God that's chosen the polish thing, it goes on the sea. The people
-
that preach that in itself would be considered folis. But it was no poolishness.
-
Today somebody might think that we needed some dogs and cats and parakeets doing
-
some tricks down there at the block to get people to take tracks. Brother
-
Steric basically said, this is a honeyhole. I said, I'm casting the
-
gospel debt. There goes another school of fish, there goes another school of
-
pish. We didn't I could put on our third year. We didn't.
-
I could put on our life grims. We didn't like to take get to
-
the side. We didn't have to hate that child. Turn on nothing,
-
stood on turk and preach, run worn on co on rook. Why preach?
-
I say, somebody raised my stock. I said, somebody to raise
-
her? This all Lord, look my sick well. His panted brother got
-
out there. He jumped out of an old born out van. I'm telling
-
you it wasn't much to look at. It was beautiful to any of any
-
beholder. It was a terrible sight. It looked like a work van.
-
He come out of there, looked like Rebecca Howell, the daughter brother Nathaniel
-
on Christmas. I'm telling you that girl has got more of her daddy and
-
her than any grandson I got's got of their daddy in them. She'll do
-
that holy jig and get excited and get excited emostly thankful for what she's got.
-
And that's what that hispanic brother did. He come out of that man
-
and he just got the screaming him and he got a holler. Then he
-
said, this is here. This is why God suit me here. I
-
went two hours away. This is there now I see it, now I
-
understand it. Heck, oh yes, he was up in an Acosta and
-
I to kill him. But when he switched her front turn us up to
-
speaking about one of the language, I said that I took tell that the
-
sage was preaching. He turned him on. He said, I'll hurrhi when
-
the holy got stock for a serging they understanding any language, but he knew
-
when he switched over to that language. Now let's be a stoken all that
-
so or the hole of yours. Somebody not the stated me. Somebody praised
-
him wonderfully. Somebody knocked the time grass him. The Baba said, the
-
margins place I could be praised God. I want to say it again.
-
We did not have to put on our thug guitarre to persuade a drunkard the
-
tank and five. I'm convinced he would have said, I don't want any
-
of that. And I'm convinced he just said, here's a beer. Moses
-
said, God's concerned about how much time you spent in Egypt. You're being
-
transformed slowly, but surely. And do you know what would have happened if
-
they had not made their exodus or their exit when God said, they would
-
not have been known any longer. As Hebrews this some of them expanded people
-
down there in Mexican specifically said we're second third generation, we know English,
-
and they said we ain't Mexican anymore, We're Americans. Come on, I'm
-
telling you them. People were giving the benefit of the doubt, saying they're
-
coming. We've been down here saying that for seventeen years. Where are they.
-
I'm not gonna lower the standard for them the time. I'm not gonna
-
lower the standard. Parasta the increase the population are the chucks. I'm not
-
calling the lower the standard cross to get more than names in the road book.
-
But this standard is not enough for them. Then an't even gonna preach
-
anything at all. Less was saying, if we want to remain the people
-
of God, forget about the ways of Egypt. He's called I find to
-
say that, is he not? He repeused to be called the son of
-
Prero's daughter. Moses realized you are not my mother man. I finally told
-
them, charismatic preacher, sir, you are not a pastor. Sir.
-
You think you're a preacher, but you're a schoolboy. You think you're holy,
-
but your righteousness is self righteousness, and it's a filthy rights to God.
-
But when God starts living in the truck dealer this fresh from Mexico.
-
Three months later, he's a holiness preacher, a paracosta preacher. We love
-
your all to drugs. He's to tectase there to sell some lorw to have
-
big money. No, he came in a warn ow cooker van. He
-
said, when I was a drug dealer, I had big money. He
-
said, I had no stakes, just but I know it, and out
-
of joy that I solved, turning out his being. I'm telling you I'm
-
not a lord. This standard for no summer money. It's like that woman
-
that came to me that time when we were dismissing service, a big money
-
woman rolling into the church parking lot. We had been down here very long.
-
God was blessing. The church boomed and blew up. About fifty cent
-
of people started living right, having revival, praying, seeking the Lord.
-
She came to me, and for the audio listeners, I want you to
-
know she pulled three thousand dollars out of an improper place to pull it out
-
of it at the front of the church, and she said, preacher,
-
if you will come over to our side, you will never have a problem
-
doing anything you want to do for God or for your family. I sat
-
there, knowing I had six kids and a wife, and knowing that I
-
had to have a major career change, and knowing that we needed to build
-
a church, and that we needed to do something for God. And I
-
sit there and I said, ma'am, with all due respect, I appreciate
-
your kind words. She said, Jeremy, everybody loves you. This community
-
loves you. She said, but for the rest of us that are out
-
here, we need you to swing over here, because we're way over here
-
and you're way over there. She said, can't we meet in the middle.
-
I said, ma'am, I already feel like I'm in the middle.
-
I already feel like there's some people way out there in right field, and
-
there's some people way out there in the left field. I said. If
-
I leave the middle, I'm gonna feel like I'm bent the wrong way.
-
And if I leave the left field, I'm gonna feel like I'm gonna swing
-
the pendleum. It's gonna swing all the way to the other side and knock
-
the spiritual walls out. For my family, I said, I cannot do
-
it. For the less words to me pool the three thousand dollars out of
-
my head and shut you in a place where the sun don't shine, so
-
to speak of. And she said, well, we will allow to have
-
had her as our community pastor, but it's no deal. It's no business,
-
sir. And I real shut his church down. I said, honey,
-
whatever you'll have to do, I'm not for sal I'm playing raising us
-
stand there ill, I said her, praying her, raising her stand on
-
her prayer. No, sir, no, now we're roping on me.
-
Snap na take that up. Moses realized that in this generation of people there
-
is a pool for Egypt. They did not hear him say, moseses in
-
the willerness, let us die. We had it better off in Egypt.
-
Are you kidding me? You had it better off in captivity. You had
-
it better off in bondage. Are you kidding me? Second Cristians, chapter
-
number six, verses number seventeen to eighteen. It's at wordport come out from
-
among them, and being a separate, said the Lord, and touched doctor
-
untween things, and I will receive you. Sounds just fucking echo to something
-
God told Moss brot Us. There Old Testament, New Testament, Apostle Paul
-
speaking to carnal people that were trying to be part of the Corinthian Church.
-
You see, the Israelites knew too much about paint and deities. They knew
-
too much about the Egyptian deities. There were two thousand Egyptian deities at this
-
time. How did they know so much about Isis Raw, Horus and thefth
-
They know so much. Our children have learned the wrong things in the public
-
school system. Our children have learned the wrong things in these worlds innominal churches.
-
Couldn't the church please pray for me. I'm waiting out in the deep
-
water of those crocodiles everywhere who are out here, and the Holy Ghost just
-
brought sucked into my mind, and this is further confirmation that I'm on target.
-
Two and a half weeks ago, I had a dream. I don't
-
know that it was a dream so much as a vision in that dream.
-
Sweeten A, my God, thank you for the Holy goos. This is
-
why you need the Holy Ghost brothers before you pastor and teach them preach at
-
the locals. Semny. This just came to mind. I've thought about it
-
every day. I didn't think about it today. I've been too busy.
-
I guess this is also probably a reason why I'm preaching what I'm preaching or
-
not. I had a vision. It was sometime during the night, and
-
Sister WoT, I saw a mighty big wave come in and it slapped the
-
side of what appeared to be a high rise. And as I looked around,
-
level after level after level of tidal waves came in. The depth of
-
the water passed the first story, it went past the fifth story, past
-
the tenth story, past the fifteenth story. It looked like this building was
-
thirty stories hid. And I know how tall a thirty story building is?
-
This to how and I just stayed in the twenties story tall building, Brother
-
Jesse, that's way going up there. I watched those tidal waves and those
-
two ritual currents devour houses. I watched to take out buildings. Businesses were
-
swallowed up and washed up to the sea, and I just noticed it just
-
kept coming, and it just kept coming. And there was my and my
-
children, and there was the bath of holness, church parishioners walking around,
-
and some of these other precious things of God that we know. My brother
-
Sister Douglasson and the woe Sister Debbie Burnett, others walking around up there,
-
and the waves just keep coming in, and I hear the Master, save
-
my son. Do you not realize that I'm lifting the standard? Then I
-
said what he said? Do you not realize that it cannot reach you and
-
your people? And man as Samuel Bears, who ain't I've ever seen,
-
come rolling in? And I sat be along road. I saw the fortress
-
of Crow even taller, I said, I grew and taller. And then
-
I heard the Holy to say, when the Internet come up in like a
-
fried a Lord, raise up. I stand there. I gets that time.
-
I said God, Well, it's God, the real couper the stand
-
there. Look, we were all over here, certain friend, brother of
-
system in France and Germany and Russia, in Ukraine, in these United States
-
of America. If you have membership in what they call where only church,
-
where your preacher never pulls anything from the depths of the scripture, the Bible
-
saidness is to earn search of our rich as of Jesus. Search the scriptures,
-
preacher, for in them you think you have eternal life. What you
-
will find when you search is sactification. Paul said to those Christians that wanted
-
to be cornval with some such thing as a coronal Christian. I thought to
-
be currently minded is to be enmity as the spirit. Is there really supposed
-
to be that level of spiritual warfare in your life? Every day? Will
-
Why are you feeding the cardinal dog? Why aren't you feeding the spiritual godly
-
dog? What Moses knew? Pastor Moses knew? The Israelites knew wait too
-
much about things. They shouldn't know anything about your person. If you never
-
went looking for it, you wouldn't be struggling with it. These Israelites have
-
been tainted by the Egyptian culture. The painting lifestyles had vexed them. The
-
Bible said that righteous luck vexed his righteous law with what by watching what was
-
going on? Well, what was taking place. You can sit at the
-
gate of side of a nomar all you want to and expect to not have
-
personal contamination. But that's a foolish expectation. As a parent, God wants
-
them to forget about the things that are behind. Is that that what Moses
-
is telling them. Here's what the great Apostle Paul said. I'm forgetting about
-
those things that are behind, and I'm reaching for under those things that are
-
before at our text. He said, you better not defollow yourself. And
-
that's what Peter said, preserve yourself from this untoward generation. You better save
-
yourself. You know how I saved myself. I drove two hours to church.
-
You better be careful playing with them churches. They may have Holiness of
-
the Sign, they may have Pecosta, they may have Lutheran. They may
-
claim John Wesley as their leader, they may claim Moses as their pastor.
-
But I'm telling you, if they're no longer separated people, if they're not
-
holding sanctify, there's something wrong. There's a baron loose somewhere. He wants
-
these people to meditate on their miraculous deliverances from Egypt. You've been delivered from
-
Egypt, he would say. They should remember that there was no true joy
-
living in bondage. Have you guys really for God? That goshen And was
-
a paradise in the days of Joseph? Is the thing in the past that
-
Joseph's dead And now there's a pair that don't care who Joseph is. I
-
can preach the Night on the Devil said, I don't care who Joseph is.
-
The devil doesn't care who your protector is. He doesn't care who your
-
parent is. He doesn't care who stands between you and the pastor. Tyler
-
Woop Powell, are you now thirty? When you turned eighteen, I square
-
it off with you one night because I knew the devil was picking on you
-
and what you were doing. You were using your precious grandmother to stand between
-
me and you, because you knew my respect for her. And I told
-
you one night, I said, you're eighteen now, Powell. Back thenifily
-
said, Paula, you're eighteen now, I said, sister Iris, with
-
all dear respect, I consider your mother of is isuel here. I'm his
-
pastor. He's a wrong man now. He's responsible for his actions. He
-
answers to me, dealing, What tell you? We had a birthday party
-
for dealing away, tod We had a birthday party for you last Sunday night
-
you turned eighteen. It's time to put the big boy paying his sad.
-
I love to hear crickets, preacher, preacher pretty out over here in this
-
a man going to it's pretty out over here. But you answer to me
-
now, brother Dylan, I heard you disrespect your dad. You might have
-
a little counsel with him to night. I ain't never respected you, disrespect
-
of you. I've heard them, I saw it, so you ought to
-
wait as the standard. Christian ain't set the standard for you, Dylan.
-
He set the standard for himself. He received the challenge, just wanting to
-
raise it for Tabitha. I'm gonna feel a little bit arm to day.
-
Just right now, brother John, you got my back back there? If
-
I run, get my back were running too? Your van? That thing's
-
big enough for me to live in for three months. We like you owing
-
a man on the road. Does everybody love a pastor? Deal? It
-
is time to raise the standard. What's he doing at eight o'clock getting ready
-
to go to work? We are choking on holdly fit right now. I'm
-
struggling up here. I'm tired. I wore out, sister Woot, and
-
I'm glad that night I took control of Tyler's hide. Tyler, surprisingly against
-
what I thought was possible, you've turned into a respectable young man. I
-
honestly don't know why any single woman is church is available for marriage. A
-
snapped you're high up. Let me get a refocused so they are in Canaan
-
now, and it's part of God's plan all along that they'd be in cana
-
God's given them the promise. They knew very well what God wanted. It
-
was what Abraham had told them. He had told that their forefathers. It
-
was passed right old Din. And when they got to Canaan, guess what
-
the news was. Guess what, guys, when you get to Canaan,
-
don't learn their ways either. That's what it said. Go home and read
-
this eighteenth chapter of the Book of Leviticus. Tonight. I'm gonna bring you
-
from over there. And when I bring you into this land, there's gonna
-
be pagans there. And can I tell you? I come from Ulburry,
-
Florida, and there was heathens up there, and unfortunately there's heathens in Label.
-
And wouldn't it be terrible to have moved away from all them heathens,
-
sister Cheryl, and come down here and sell my soul to the devil in
-
lovel wouldn't it be terrible to go to Hell from Lebel? Now that's the
-
Serman title. Never hurt one, let's stand. So we'll cut this short.
-
They were not to live as Egyptians or Canaanites. These people were to
-
live by a different standard. Dealing wood, you are to live by a
-
different standard, right, the dealing standard. Christians, we are to live
-
by a different standard. Not the world is standard. God's were demanded that
-
they call the Law of Moses their standard. How many people do you know
-
live by worldly standard? Does anybody know nobody lives by worldly standard? That
-
they're going to churches and don't priest the truth? Anybody like me? Real
-
bold and not afraid to admit it. Right, But on Judgment's Day,
-
Brother Gable and Brother Gave it was great to see you shout worship God intellectually
-
and emotionally the night that was a wonderful You get that much holy ghost,
-
you get that much motor in the hot rod is going back. But I
-
was coming back and I'm tired right now. If y'all can't tell I've gave
-
out of gas, everybody goes that's me. I just ran out of gas.
-
Didn't make it a little bell break down now, But I was coming
-
back from Ilakley. Now I wish how to sense up to God showed me
-
that Brother Gable's bout me. So whatever I just happened to crack my eyes
-
open and say, well, glory, there it goes system. Well,
-
thank you, Lord. I'm so glad that you have lifted our worship standard.
-
I'm glad we're no longer doing this. The Lord is great and to
-
be praised greatly. The pattern that their lives were to be patterned after is
-
right here. First John, chapter number two, verse number fifteen said love
-
not the world, neither the things that are in the world. Can I
-
tell y'all he wasn't talking about more beer trees and blueberry bushes. As brother
-
Jesse comes to the piano. As I run to lick my wounds, I'm
-
preaching on. Somebody raised the standard. You young preachers. Get them hair
-
cuts. Brother Philip, you said you're losing your hair as of this woman.
-
It's falling out by the handfuls. Can't even brush it. Woke up
-
from a nap there it is all over the pillar. You're going home to
-
shave your head ball. There are some brothers in this building that's told me,
-
as soon as you do it, they're doing it and support My friend
-
Michael Curtain, and I ran into him and flew as if you see,
-
don't mention this. He listened to YouTube anyhow, he listens to the messages.
-
I'll here. He ran me down and I stopped talking to him.
-
He said, how's Philip doing. I says, doing all right. I
-
said, man, he's a trooper. God's just to help him. He
-
said, is he gonna pull through it? I said yeah. He said
-
he needs a very good I said yea. He said, I'm gonna pray
-
for it as good as I know how. I said, right here,
-
bublah, right up, that's good enough. I said, please do.
-
And I said, you're not gonna believe this. Some of the brothers in
-
the church said that if he loses his hair and they're gonna shave their heads
-
or brother Gabel is a man of faith. He he he took care of
-
that three years ago. And my curtain, here's what he said, Brother
-
Howell, all you had to do is of the orders. Let me know,
-
shoot me a text and as good as thee is, is that all
-
the guy who's tell me to do it? I thought, Now that's how
-
church people should be. You're wondering how I can plug that into the sermon.
-
It fits quite nicely. If God says thou shalt you should, If
-
God says thou shalt not. You shouldn't. Now. Last Sunday night we
-
were fired the prophets. But tonight we're not firing the prophets. Tonight we're
-
going to raise the standard. How about it? Mom? You come under
-
pressure so many times to lessen the standard, to lower the standard. I'm
-
gonna talk to omamas just for a minute. Do you really want to do
-
that? Because so if you give the devil inch, he'll be your ruler.
-
He one only take a mile, he'll be your ruler. Let's bow
-
our heads tonight. Could we close our eyes ever so tightly? Could somebody
-
say, pastor, I would like to lift the standard in my life and
-
be a better example of what a Christian is. It looks to me like
-
there's thirteen or fourteen hand. It's like there's about thirty minutes. Now.
-
While you keep your eyes closed and those heads found, I want you to
-
know I'm raising my hand. I don't want to loosen the standard. I
-
don't want to let up. I don't want to lower it. Could everybody
-
just come to the altars, find a place to pray. Would y'all ask
-
the Lord to help you in an age of compromise? Somebody raised the stunner.
-
Come from the world jock, be called to be servant, call for
-
