intimidating that would be? The five Eyes of Satan. I am not talking

about that part of the body that allows us to see things. I'm talking

about the letter I. If you have your Bible, will you turn with

me to the Book of Isaiah. Mad Director attention to the fourteenth chapter.

We will be reading the verses numbers twelve through fourteen. Brother Nathaniel James,

chapter number four, verse number fifteen, Brother Jesse Luke, chapter number twenty

two, and verse number forty two. I want to say, I think

God for every preacher in this building. I thank the Lord for every teacher

in this sanctuary that taught the word of God today. We are most appreciative

for those lessons that you will taught. All of the testimonies that we heard

tonight, Sister Pampatulo's testimony of God bringing her daughter out of that critical state,

I'm thankful for that. Brother Wallace's testimony of how the Lord helped him

stay out of trouble with his employer because of a mistake that he had made

unintentionally. All of this has been food from my soul. Brother Nathaniel James,

chapter number four and verse number fifteen, Please sir, for the that

he ought to say, if the Lord will, we shall live and do

this or that. So we ought to say, if the Lord will,

I will do this or I will do that. And of course I'm paraphrasing

brother Jesse Luke chapter number twenty two and verse number forty two, saying,

Father, if thou be willing remove this cup from me, nevertheless, not

my will, but thine be done. Let's stand for the reading of our

golden text. How many of you heard the verse of scripture that brother Jesse

just read. Jesus himself said, not my will, father, but thine

be done. Isaiah chapter number fourteen, Verses number twelve through fourteen. The

Bible said, how art thou falling from heaven, Old Lucifer, son of

the Morning, how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken

the nations? For thou hast set in nine heart. I will as sind

into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I

will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the

north, a sin above the heights of the clouds. I will be locked

the most time, yet thou shalt be brought down to Hell to the sides

of the pit. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we love and we

praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to be in the house of

the Lord. I pray that you would annoyt this thy servants, stead of

guard in my mouth, and help me to say the things that you would

have me to say, nothing more, nothing less. Anoint the ears of

this thy people, that they might hear what it is the spirit of God

saith to the church tonight. Annoyt us, we pray, Lord, the

people that are in this building are precious. If you know exactly what each

and every one of him need. May the words that God go below the

shoulders. May they saturate the spirit and the soul of each person. I

pray that we would not hear only but that we would heed what it is

the Spirit saith under this church tonight. And may we depart this place joyfully

and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name, Amen, As you're being seen to

say, hey, neighbor, is Satan ugly or beautiful? There was a

time in Satan's existence that he was extremely beautiful. Our text is found in

an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Isaiah. This

book is a very large prophetic book. Is evident for the readers of this

sacred writing to see that the prophet Isaiah was very busy with his prophetic ministry.

How many in this building tonight are thankful for a busy pastor how many

if you all are thankful that you have preachers that keep busy, and that

they work jobs and they provide for their own Not only do they provide for

their own families financially, they are the priests of their own house, and

they provide for them spiritually. This prophet Isaiah was one that was not hesitant

nor reluctant to provide for his nation. When God called his number, he

answered the call, and Brother Nathaniel, he was obedient to that calling.

And we find that he received numerous visions of the Lord and told people of

pending doom and damn nation that was coming upon their nation because of their disobedience

to the Lord. The son of Amos knew the Lord on a greater level.

How many of you can say that in the last year you have grown

in God. How many can say I've experienced great grace and great power that

I thought was not available to a person as lowly as I. I can

say that I have received great grace and goodness and power from God that I

did not thought could be tapped by mere mortals such as I. But I

am thankful for the availability of us being able to make contact with the Lord.

And so Isaiah was a humble servant. He states this when he says

that he is the son of Amos. So this man knew the Lord at

a greater level than most of the contemporaries and the peers that were throughout the

land of Israel. He understood the true meaning of life is that every person

who serves the Lord ought to worship him in spirit and in truth. When

we first moved down here, one of the deacons and elders of this local

congregation, he would say often that God is a spirit and they that worship

him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Brother Johnny Platt was that

man, and he would put an emphasis on that we maintained the truth in

the inward parts, and that we also promoted and preached truth. Have noted

that a lot of churches today are not hesitant at all to worship the Lord,

but they do not have truth active in their life. This man,

Isaiah knew that the people of God must have their lives centered on God.

How many in this building tonight could show, by the raising of the hand

and say that my God is the center of my life. If your self

will is the center of your life, then you've got a problem. And

I'm going to preach to you tonight. If you could say without hesitation that

I have a tendency to be selfish rather than selfless, that I'm going to

preach to you tonight. What the Lord put on my heart this afternoon to

preach to you, I've heard it sent my sister Iris Woot, which is

one of the elder sisters of our church. For many years, she has

said, pleasing the Lord is all that matters. I don't feel like every

person in this building is bent towards pleasing themselves, but I do feel like

we've got a handful that would rather please themselves than please the Lord. And

we want to dissect this dead corpse right here tonight, and find out why

there is no life in your spirit, and why there is no fire in

your bones, and while there's no fire in your eyes. Because if the

Lord is standing center stage of your life, and if the Lord is in

the throll room of your heart, the King of Glory has walked through those

ever lasting doorways of those everlasting souls, and the King of Glory is living

inside of those that have him in residency. There. In Isaiah, chapter

number forty eight, verse number eleven, the great Prophet Isaiah wrote these words.

We find him saying, the reason for the Lord dealing with the hearts

of mere mortal is this, And this is God speaking to the Prophet Isaiah.

He said, for my own sake, even for my own sake,

will I do it? For how should my name be polluted? And I

will not give my glory unto an author. Now that the Lord is sitting

in the throne room of your heart, then you will have no problem at

all letting him arraign. The Bible said that the Lord are powerful, or

the Lord omnipotent reign. And I feel like there are people in this building

tonight that could say without a doubt I understand the lordship of Christ. That

is a doctrine that has much overlooked today. Very few people within Christendom,

or within modern Christianity, or within Christian society at large, they do not

understand the doctrine of the lordship of Christ. How many of you know that

the Bible will send it at some point, every need will bow and every

tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. You can bow now or you

can burn later. You can bow now or you can bow later. You

can burn now or you can burn later. I feel I can be important

for us to be obedient to the spirit of the Lord tonight and allow the

King of Glory to walk through the doorway of these everlasting hearts. The Lord

is doing everything for his own glory, including fashioning mankind out of the dust

of ground and putting into them the breath of life. God, in all

of that for his own glory. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made for

his own glory. I want to preach to you here tonight, if you'll

bear with me just a little while Heaven a little while, where I preach

he had for the glory of God. He sees so many young people come

that God has given them. If you have a beautiful appearance, like a

David of old, if you're ruddy and of a beautiful countenance, if you're

like miss Esther who became the queen and the bride of a hassrous, if

you are beautiful in appearance, or if you're multi talented, saying you've got

musical ability second to nobody. Do you realize the reason why you've got all

of these talents? Well, that's one, there are five, they're ten.

It could be financials, and that's probably what they're talking about in the

parablem other talents. It could be finances. It could be physical paceique,

or physical stature, or physical appearance. But whatever it is that you've got

to you have been fashioned in His likeness, and it is to be used

for the glory of God. It is not to bring an increase in the

payroll of people that are producing movie, say for Hollywood. It is not

to be promoted on a big screen somewhere. It is not to be put

to center stains in Nashville somewhere. It is not right for miss Taylor Swift

to stand there apply for him. Had to perform to thousands, maybe ten

powerful about? I've seen people with noses as loneness, elephants and ears.

This big, that's done. I've seen people here the normality and deep formality,

of God, you're gonna be a God's way. It will never be said

your pew. You can get on your knees and bend them if you're able

and not disabled. And God knows whether or not you're gettingabled or disabled.

God knows if it's pride or not. I've seen them crippled, the halt

and the laming and disabled trying to praise God. Wow, what's happened?

it that way you're gonna be with that way? Or do you want to

be things differently. Let's put things in proper perspective. Let's put things in

don't deserve. But I am telling you God deserves credit. God deserves glory.

supposed to be chased. She's supposed to keep the hole. She's not supposed

to let things unraveled. She's not supposed to let things fall apart. She's

never supposed to tell the husband. Oh my God, I don't know if

I want to serve God or not. What do you say? If you

want to commit spiritual suicide? Don't you treat me with that. I don't

tear your high wo that word. I said, you cut me. But

You used to be so beautiful. Also in the New Testament, they said,

concerning the devils, they can transform themselves into angels of light and husbands.

You guys, listen to me. They can sit there and look just

as innocent as a house while they're making you a peanut butter and jelly.

And that's all that matters is you're gonna patch your belly and put them some

milk. Can you say what an angel is? This is why you bring

her to church where your pastor can tell her, just like I told my

we have to deal with pride and fear just because she's making you a peanut

butter pie, don't make her an angel. I wish the Church of say

Amen. I've seen some pretty wicked people make some pretty good sundays down there

at Fairy Queen. I've seen some waiters and waitresses at the restaurant be very

nice to Sister Howl and I because they had an ontarior motive. It's called

tippage. Pride is what's keeping you from victory and secondly fear. And I

do feel like God is looking now to see what we will do. I

torment your wife or make them feel that tall wife. Your husband is not

your enemy. But the Bible said only by pride come contention. If you're

having marital issues and strife in that relationship. The toxicity in that relationship is

not that you're of the will of God, has not that you two are

wonderful people. It says it comes through pride. If you're fussing and fighting,

it's been called somebody will not crucify their pride. Now, you might

use this as an example because you're a great mister. A twisting scripture.

Twist and what I say and I can come over here and sit my sister

But there's been times I've looked at this lady right here and said, honey,

I'm sorry. I'm the head of the household. But if you do

that in front of your children, the Bible said, either so do,

the wind's gonna read the world within you slam that door today, it's gonna

be your baby slamming it tomorrow. But there's been times I said charity,

you know what. Neither one of us is right or sometimes to say charity,

you know what? Do right now? I'm wrong. This may not

be the Shelton message tonight that we all want it or that we expect of.

But this will keep our families together. This will keep our marriages in

tact. This will keep our pastor in the pulpit. Do you realize if

I got a haughty spirit about myself and said, oh I could do something

else, I deserve better. I deserve to be We need the spirit of

Naomi, we need the spirit of Esther and says I'm content to dwell among

my home people. You do realize where God puts you and place you and

your performance ought to be great. This is fruit. I'm not asking everybody

to be a Rachel how well. I'm not asking everybody to be this or

be that. I'm not asking everybody to be multi talented my brother Jesse,

our brother e Ja. But I am telling you there is something that I

can do. I don't want to kill this, but every time I get

in this poolpit and I exhort and I push, knowing somebody's gonna go home

choking down a big mac having it their way and say, oh he in

say, you know what, I'm willing to get sloppy with its wet sweating.

I'm willing I'm a nobody. Let's clarify that I'm a nobody. I'm

the least person in this building. But Lucifer, he would say, I'm

the greatest person in this building. I will, I will, I will,

I will, I will. There's some of you you think you're king.

You go to the restaurant and you talk to them waiters and waitresses like

your royalty. It's like you expect them to hand squeen the grapes and your

glass. That's pride. You talked to them like they're a dog, because

in your heart you're living like a king. But Richard Jacob told me this

morning. He said, I went to a restaurant and I was speaking to

a waitress and said, she knows my pastor and my pastor's wife and brother.

Richard said, well, so and so they know you, And she

said what they know me? They know my name, they know who I

am. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanted to be said that he

was his friend it has been said of a man in this building. I

churched for them for years and did not even know them. Wow. Really,

there is a powerful spirit of the hold that ghost in this building.

Do you want it to be said? It's your funeral? You know what.

I went to church with this guy for twenty years and he was too

good to speak. And when you start stuttering like Elmer flu and you say

that's why I don't talk to people, it simply means you ain't done it

enough here, because I've seen you flapping them jaws have public when you didn't

know. I saw you when you had no speech impediment, when you had

no problem talking in general public. If you're getting on the phone and you're

glabbing it more than you can care on a conversation with this lady right here.

If you tell the center in the isle of Walmart or in the isle

of the CBS pharmacy more about what's going on than you do right here in

the altar to God, you've got major issues. It's called pride. I

will do it my way. The pastor will ask us to do it this

way because he feels like God let us to do it this way. But

I will do it my way. If everybody comes into the new Sanctuary in

I'm gonna park over here where there's no parking lot. It is what

it is. I will have it my way. The five eyes of Satan.

Do you realize that every menace of society and every monster of society was

selfish? Those men have brutally murdered people's sons and daughters. They had selfish

motives. I can hear the cricket preacher, they saying. Any now,

right now, I'm weak in body. I don't need to be a friendly

to me after the service that. I need you to be afriended to God

and friendly to your brother and sister, and I need you to be merciful

to these children. I've seen people start attending here, and they come here

with a chip on their shoulder, and they have them evil surmises and have

confused notions, and they just assumed that this is some sort of competition,

and they assumed that this is kind of environment they come out of, and

they assume in order to keep from having your head bit off by the neighbor

sitting on that put next to you. You gotta act like you don't care

about anybody. You gotta act like you don't care for anyone, and you

gotta act like to each his own. That's not how we operate here.

And the good news is that's not how they operate in heaven. You may

not like this, and this may hair let Grandma, but Heaven will be

a multi national congregation. The black brother is gonna shout glory to God with

a white brother. The yellow brother is gonna shout glory to God with the

redskin brother. All sweet Lamb of God, I feel the Holy Ghost in

this place. We have to get rid of these partialities. We're supposed to

I feel like tonight's message is going to be instrumental if you allow it,

and saving spiritual lives, marriages, homes, and families. How do

you know, Because Sister Hell and I we had to learn how to humble

ourself. There is nothing beautiful about two rams button heads all day long.

I've seen it. People thinks it's funny and they think it's cute. But

Howl kids know nothing of Dad slamming the door, getting in a car and

disappearing for six to eight hours, or over nine or for two to three

or two an hour. You're going through things on the job, or health

issues, or you just need to be near somebody that cares. You just

took sleep from me. I was sound to sleep, hurt myself. Song

in miles. God's mindful of somebody. But unfortunately, brother Nathaniel, the

Lord was pointing out they got their own kingdom. Now I wanted to demonstrate

You all. Think of how productive I would be if I sit right

here and watched you owe every service for hours. Occasionally I raised my hand.

There's no pride more damning than devils, than a silent pride. And

I'm going to say this again. When Luciffer fell, we didn't slip on

a banana piel. You're choosing to do these things, and the reason why

you're making bad choices is the same reasons as to howld struggle because her dad

law made bad choices, she grew up and divided home. She grew up

my baby. God took it, didn't he? And Mama I used to

hear them on the Church of God preachers say, don't you let that baby

be your pride and joy is God will take that baby. I can't bear

the fault of that. Whatever you on a pedestal, think about this moment.

Do you really not want to hand that baby off like quarterback hands of

football off to a running back when God's moving. You know, anything that

comes between you and God's and idol, you do realize you're making that baby

come between you and God. Y'all may not want to believe this, and

I don't care what you believe. You're entitled to your opinion. But in

my ministry, there's been times I've heard the Lord say, if you make

that turn and go down that road, your kids will suffer the consequences.

And I said, God, but I made the decision. The bad decision

will be mine. He said that your kids will pay the price. My

brother Jesse, There's been times even in ministry, I had to back up

and say, you know what, pastor in that bigger church might sound great

to me, but it's not what God wants. And so Lord, not

my will, but dying be done. I feel like we just need to

find a place to pray. If it's in the fetor of the altar,

I feel like somebody needs to just kill the spirit of fear and the spirit

of pride. Lucifer. I will, I will, I will, I

will, I will be saying I will be the big name of Angelis,

I will be the big pastor, I will be the musician I will be

the senior, I will be the teacher. I will be that saint,

and I will be this person or perhaps this on the other side of the

structure. I will do it my way. I will take my path.

I will choose to do what I want to do. Somebody right now needs

to say, God, take this pride, Take this pride out with me.

Help me to humble myself, to deny myself. Here's what Jesus said.

Take up that cross, deny yourself. Take up that cross and follow

me. Preacher, you gotta be humble. Oh, it's not about us,

It's about Jesus. It's about them. Oh. I know. It's

not a shout message tonight. It's a humbling message. Self abasement, not

self exultation. Jesus, not by the real I know of five people in

the last ten minutes that God has helped greatly and immensely. Where you seek

God right now, say take me Jesus molded, fashion me in likeness in

new life. Take me Lord boldly. I don't want to be the same.

Change me. I want to be like you, Jesus, Jesus,

Oh God, Oh God, oh God, oh Jesus. Oh, it

won't be said and slept. The devil won't average your ways. That's a

trick of the devil for what it is good, it's a trick of it

only by bride.
