  1. Got with you chapter number seventeen. We'll be reading verses number four through seven,

  2. Brother Nathaniel, Brother Jesse mark chapter number five, you'll be reading verse

  3. number twenty two. Brother Caleb. Luke, chapter number seventeen, you'll be

  4. reading verse number sixteen. And beloved Bethel, well, you turn with me

  5. to the Book of Revelation. Had direct your attention to the first chapter and

  6. the seventeenth verse. Brother Jesse, howell, you were all over this this

  7. morning, because we will be reading the seventeenth and eighteenth verses. All right,

  8. brother Caleb, but you read that Luke chapter number seventeen and verse number

  9. sixteen and fell down on his face at his feet giving him things. And

  10. he was a Samaritan and fell down at his feet giving thanks. Some people

  11. fall down at the man of God's feet or at defeated Jesus, just because

  12. they're greatfam but what the Lord has done for them? All right, Brother

  13. Jesse, mark chapter number five and verse number twenty two. And behold there

  14. cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jurious by name, And when

  15. he saw him, he fell at his feet. This man was in great

  16. need. Some people fall at the feet of God or God's man, because

  17. they are overwhelmed. I've had this message for several days. Brother Nathaniel Matthew,

  18. chapter number seventeen, verses number four through seven then answered Peter and said,

  19. on the Jesus Lord, it is good for us to be here.

  20. If that will, let us make your three tabernacles, one for thee and

  21. one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold

  22. it, cloud overshadowed them. And behold it voice out of the cloud,

  23. which said, this is my beloved son, and whom I am well pleased.

  24. Hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on

  25. their faces and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them and said,

  26. arise and be not afraid. These men fell at the feet of Jesus

  27. not because they were overwhelmed, but because they had been overpowered and overshadowed.

  28. Let's stand for the reading of our text tonight again. Mad direct your attention

  29. to Revelation chapter number one, verse number seventeen. The Bible says that when

  30. I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead, and he laid

  31. his right hand upon me, saying, unto me, fear naw I am

  32. the first and the last. I am he that liveth and was dead.

  33. And behold I am alive forevermore. Amen, and have the keys of hell

  34. and of death. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we thank you so

  35. much for the opportunity to be in your house this Sunday night. Lord,

  36. we weren't too busy this afternoon or evening together together once again on this precious

  37. day, as we have celebrated your resurrection. We pray that you would annoyt

  38. this thy people. Set a guard at their ears and help them to hear

  39. that that you would have them to hear. Lord, set a guard at

  40. my mouth, and help me to say the things that you would have me

  41. to say. Nothing more or less. I pray that these sayings would go

  42. below the shoulders and saturate the very beings of these individuals. Lord, help

  43. them not to be hearers only, but doers. I prayed that they would

  44. depart this place joyfully and not sorromply. In the name of Jesus, we

  45. prayed, And the church says, Amen, as you're being seated, say

  46. hey, neighbor, have you fallen at his feed? Let's read verses number

  47. seventeen and eighteen again, the Bible said, and when I saw him,

  48. I fell at his feet as dead, and he laid his right hand upon

  49. me, saying, unto me, fear not, I am the first and

  50. the last. I am he that liveth and was dead. And behold,

  51. I'm alive forevermore. Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.

  52. Our text is found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible,

  53. the Book of Revelation. When I was a child, the writings of this

  54. particular book of the Bible, they frightened me. I remember when the preacher

  55. would take a text from this book of the Bible. I was horrified.

  56. Immediately my night was ruined. But I soon discovered that this is a very

  57. important book for the believer to read, to hear people preach out off to

  58. her, hear lessons talk out of this book of the Bible. I know

  59. that the man that hears the words of this book is a blessed man as

  60. well as the one that keeps the sayings of this particular book of the Bible.

  61. So I learned that even though this is the book of the Apocalypse,

  62. that it is not a book to be avoided. I soon discovered that this

  63. is the most debated book of the Bible. As a young man, I

  64. heard preachers debating one with another could concerning the coming of the Lord. Some

  65. described themselves as a pre tribulationist, while others said, I believe his coming

  66. will come in the middle of the tribulation, while others boldly proclaimed that they

  67. were pros trill saints. I am sick and tired of people spending countless hours

  68. debating things of this nature. You may or may not know how I believe

  69. own things concerning the end times, but that is really neither here nor there.

  70. The most important thing is you being ready when the Lord comes again for

  71. his people or his bride. I've seen great fellowships of holy brethren divided after

  72. some man who read the writings of another mortal peace. I have seen relationships

  73. and friendships severed because people began to read behind men that were of a certain

  74. persuasion. And I knew that these men had not entered into their belief system

  75. through prayer and fasting and studying diligently the word of God. I knew that

  76. they had not prayed earnestly concerning in time events. And I quickly realized that

  77. these men really and truly were inaccurate in their opinion regarding the end of time.

  78. But nevertheless, I fell in love with this book of the Bible.

  79. And it was four or five weeks ago I instructed our adult Sunday school class

  80. teacher, the Reverend Brother Justin Roqua, to teach on the Seven Churches of

  81. Asia. And oh, what a good time we have as we have studied

  82. all these seven churches of Asia. I know that you as a people and

  83. corporately you have been blessed as you've heard your Sunnish school teacher teach about these

  84. specific churches. I know that each church has related to you in some way.

  85. I know that you've seen some forms of godliness and some fashions concerning your

  86. worship and service to God in relation to what you have read about concerning these

  87. churches. And I know that whenever I began to read this Bible for myself

  88. at the age of seventeen, and I've been a student of the book ever

  89. since, I know that you have to look at things as they appear.

  90. You have to believe the Bible for what it says. There is no private

  91. interpretation, and that you gotta be careful going and buying this so called left

  92. Behind series that was offered by Tim Lahay and Jerry Chekins. I feel like

  93. those guys were way off basic when they begin to pin the writings of that

  94. series. I've told people before, you better be careful when you read of

  95. the writings of those particular men. You better focus on them. The writings

  96. of John, they're in the Book of Revelation. Her on the writings of

  97. her the prophet Daniel, they're in the Book of Daniel. You better studied

  98. the prophecies that have found that were written by her, the prophet Ezekiel.

  99. I've seen too many men spent counting us her hours debating on this and debating

  100. on that, only read another book full of some man's opinion, some man

  101. that was missing some very important details. Some man he that was missing pertinent

  102. details of an information that was power in the word of God. An example

  103. that I will proceed to you of this, sir, And how easily this

  104. can happen. You've heard a lot of preachers. Let's say this, and

  105. it has been written to and the Book of Revelation is the revelation of her

  106. John Man. John was not to the revelator who have heard songwriters and pit

  107. mericks and go like this and talking about John the revelator. Chard was not

  108. the revelator Andy. John did not give her this retilation. This book should

  109. be more. I could be called her the revelation of Jesus Christ. I

  110. let that's a little people know what some of you are wanting to here tonight,

  111. and I know that we need to go out to the fellowship. Paul

  112. here Voverterry that I have another dinner and a breaking bad session that I feel

  113. like telling somebody here tonight. You can be a student of this book and

  114. forget about being a student of all of this on apropetical literature, I've seen

  115. people lose their minds, lose their sanity, and lose their their resting as

  116. they've read behind her of their offers that will not to Clyde green upon authors.

  117. The author's are this bok of the Bible being the words so I start

  118. who Regost moved upon them and the unco breathe where God inspired her words?

  119. Tonight. I do know that Christ definitely didn't want to reveal some things to

  120. us. He revealed himself first to John. In this instance, we find

  121. that this book is in our hands tonight meeting this book of revelation. Because

  122. John had a personal relationship and a personal and private encounter with the Lord.

  123. This had not been his first experience or encounter with the Lord. Now,

  124. brother cheer in my asshole. The Lord began to unfold and unveiled mysterious things

  125. to John. John realized her there are some things for us us to know,

  126. and there are some things for us to never know. You will remember

  127. her that one time Peter tried to meddle in the affairs of charm and she

  128. used the sin I know that our proper side her concerning your demise and death.

  129. And I know that I've left her a little bit of think about what

  130. would have happened to Chard. But that's smiting her business. And if I

  131. will that he tarries her until I tell her what has got to live.

  132. And a lot of preachers say, over look, it's very important detail.

  133. The Lord did come, he did come again. He did present him supper

  134. to Chard. What's more, why Chard had been banished to the all of

  135. Patiser. The Lord did her peer to Chard her. What's more, all

  136. the value of having an intimate relationship with the Lord, having a personal encounter

  137. and experience with the Lord is a very, very valuable thing for the child

  138. of God, because if you have not had a personal encounter and an experience

  139. with the Lord, you will not stand strong in the time of adversity.

  140. They're in the evil day. I need to cut this short. You see,

  141. this man Jesus had given his life for this man John. He had

  142. given us life for all of the people with their humanity. I believe that

  143. he did it that we might live for eternally. If you're going to live

  144. for eternally, you must love him individually. That's better. Another thing your

  145. set tonight. It is so good to see you in the House of God

  146. worshiping her Lord trepidly. But are you worshiping her him individually? Who weren't

  147. praising him personally? You see, John was different amongst all the other brother

  148. he calls her. He just wanted to be closer to choose or Yes,

  149. there they were almost as closer, and there were ain't nothing nearly as conser

  150. as the others. Look, brother, you remind John nu, I've got

  151. to get closer. You do to get cunser I'm talking to somebody, then

  152. you're problem else. We are not yet had not counter we are for the

  153. Lord. That's why the son of the way you do. That's why you

  154. don't give them more earnest heed to the things that you have heard. And

  155. that's why they slipped out of your grasp because you, oh nothing, my

  156. sister who loves him, You don't see him for who he is. A

  157. sister Howell sees him for who he is. You do not see him as

  158. a personal being, as somebody that loves you and conditionally as a prian mistakes

  159. closer than any brother. I'm telling somebody I want to preach to you tonight

  160. that a certainly that the Holy against titled he I feel at his feta because

  161. her holy? Why are you following her at the feeta? Oh Jesus,

  162. is it becauser? You've been overwhelmed. Our brother Red had some contest to

  163. us. Say tonight, our people the fell at the feed of Jesus,

  164. and the representative say, o Jesus because her they we're overwhelmed. He is

  165. certainly a good thing to do today in this house. When you feel overwheled,

  166. that's right, cry out to God, lead me to the rock and

  167. t then I then what I want you to know is you need the God

  168. to him. They're calling us feet because you get overshadowed, not because you

  169. get overwhell old you took your supor what about. I've seen a lot of

  170. people suffer tragedy physically in their health, their spirits a health crisis, and

  171. they must go to church and they fall in the altar or they collapse out

  172. of speech because they've been overwhelmed. I'm thinking of a young couple that have

  173. bachla o God that it went far away from the presence of the Lord.

  174. And on the now eleven two thousand and one, whenever the terrorists took out

  175. the World Trade centers, they saw what was taking place on their television and

  176. they said, we had been raised on school, old time holiness, and

  177. they went to church through fear and they prayed back through the salvation because they

  178. were overwhelmed by what they were spiritual, by what they were witnessing. That

  179. is good, but I've heard of other people losing out with cod because her

  180. they came because they were overwhelmed. You see, it happened time and again,

  181. the trunk out it comes to church because their Rabi. There's a lot

  182. of supporter in the New Law and they're at the county hospital, and they

  183. don't go to the corner to end up doing an autopsy at the county more

  184. on the county, more nother, Jessy. They've come because they've been overwhelmed.

  185. If they'd have been overshadled and over kile, they have what they needed

  186. to stay in the presence of God. You all seen it so many people

  187. in the Bible. They fell at the feeding Jesus and they said, honey,

  188. mercy. And there were other people that returned and they fell at his

  189. feet because they were grateful, very thankful. One of the ten lepers returned

  190. to give him thanks. We read in the Bible of old and Old Testament

  191. and the New Testament of men and women that fell down at the feet of

  192. those. And brother Philip, you didn't know what I would be preaching on

  193. that. You talked about that woman she fell at the feet of the Man

  194. of God, and she said, why, oh, why did you give

  195. me this pressing? And if God was going to take it, why didn't

  196. you pray this pressing on me? Then God was going to remove it.

  197. There's countless reasons for why he per fall at his feet. And I'm talking

  198. about that. I feel her at his feet, because why did you fall

  199. at his feet? Why are you falling even now after their feet? What

  200. is the moted? What is the reason that isn't all about you and what

  201. you mean? There is a all about being up here and being in the

  202. cylind o God's we over. I'm telling you that there's a been different.

  203. So to follow out a feecut when we've been overshadowed and over telling there the

  204. Father, when we've been overwhelmed. We preached this morning a serve of entitled

  205. underestimating what's underneath? If I'm not mistaken, our tech was found in Saint

  206. John's gospel. Well, he is the author of this book of the Bible

  207. too. Isn't that interesting? The Bible readers or students among us do not

  208. know that John gave this description of himself, the disciple who the Lord Jesus

  209. loved multiple times? Is gospel? Do you find the author of this gospel

  210. the book of John saying the disciple who Jesus loved apparently a dently. His

  211. relationship with Jesus was admirable and note worthy. What about your relationship with your

  212. spouse? Is it admirable and is it noteworthy? Since the howl was set

  213. to night. I'm married my best friend that we didn't married for some of

  214. the reasons. Other people marry for it. We marry our best priend.

  215. That come on, now, I hope, dear God, they're all of

  216. the couples in this field. It you married your best friend. If they're

  217. not your best friend, you better get through working on that relationship. I

  218. say, will. There's a lot of people. They enter a relationship with

  219. Jesus for all of the wrong reasons. There's a lot of men entering a

  220. relationship with a woman because of the wrong reasons. And for the children's sake,

  221. we will not go into it. Why they would do those things For

  222. John, He's simply said, I don't have to give my name, but

  223. when I give the description, you will know my identity. They come on,

  224. the other people in town, do they know you? That's that person

  225. that despises the spirit of the world. And you love Jesus. Will you

  226. be found singing on the job and singing at home and singing at church.

  227. Take this whole world, but get their cheese. There's people in this field

  228. and they love him enough to die for him. How about you? He

  229. loved you enough to die for you to or why is it a struggle?

  230. Take me up for him? If you love it the way you rock,

  231. I love it, you know what? Not kind of problem? Why love

  232. that turn here? I don't like that kind of preaching, that's all right.

  233. I don't like Budwiser either. I don't like that kind of preaching,

  234. that's all right. I don't like sucking on cigarettes. How come I gotsat

  235. eve? I don't like that kind of preaching. That's all right. That's

  236. your choice. Hallo, lock dry preaching ether Hallo not not annoying it preaching

  237. either. It's your choice. I'm not saying this is the only way of

  238. preaching. We haven't knowing him. But I'm telling you you better love whatever

  239. it is you're doing. You better love God. You gotta love a will

  240. of God. You gotta be looking that change it differently that hell you're looking

  241. at him. This relationship between John and Jesus was a marble and no worthy.

  242. He treasured the time he spent with his Lord. Have you ever allowed

  243. a person to become a distraction in your conversation with a good family member?

  244. I know the other night when that man was attempting to hijack my vehicle and

  245. pull me out. Brother Samuel's contra sation was interrupted abruptly. But you know

  246. what, after a couple of days, I remembered we had not finished that

  247. very important conversation. Then I said, son, let's finish that conversation.

  248. There's some of you. You've got some catching up to do, and you've

  249. got some following up to do with Jesus. He's trying to call to you

  250. in a week after week of revival, after exhortation, upon advitiement of post

  251. sermon upon preacher upon preacher. He's trying to pick it under you. I

  252. said, in your sister, WoT, I said, a youth fello Nathaniel

  253. Man, I said, A you, sister staring. He's trying to call

  254. you in the company with him. He's trying to call you in the communication

  255. with him and walk in the world. Here's wrong with you? Well,

  256. I'm gonna wait to follow his feet until what I'm a more convenient time.

  257. Whenever I need him, I'll just call Spiritual nine one one, and I'll

  258. ask this patch to send a heavenly angel by my way and to overthrow all

  259. the demonic beings that I've been playing and toy him with and I'll get my

  260. help from my Lord when I am overwhelmed this man John brother Nathaniel. He

  261. just couldn't get close enough. Y'all know, Peter, James and John were

  262. known to be mighty close with the Lord. If he was having prayer meeting,

  263. they were gonna be there. They might not have been able to pray

  264. for an hour sometimes because of the spiritual conflict that they were enduring, because

  265. they were not yet spirit feeling, but you know what, they were at

  266. least trying to stay as close as they couldn't to Jesus. And according to

  267. the scripture, there was another eight down there by the gate, just hanging

  268. out. But I want you to know John was one. It wanted to

  269. catch him every word that left the lips of the Master. Are you listening

  270. to me? You can tell when people are preaching. You can tell when

  271. people know and love her Bible. You can tell when people love her telling

  272. the church. They will not cancel church there in Eastern a Haka because they

  273. loved cot more than they love for Eastern body. Hot not keep your own

  274. You're Easter egg hunts up. So when you canceled churchill because you're way out.

  275. Hay Head and her Easter egg hung on Sunday? Who said, had

  276. it on Saturday and don't go on the treasure time spent with his Lord.

  277. Sometimes that's what couples do. They say, we just need to get away

  278. and have some US time. They listen, moms and dads, the people,

  279. boys and girls, the elders. Are you having some US time with

  280. Jesus? Are you having that Bible before breakfast time? Are you having more

  281. than just a little talk with Jesus when you feel overwhelmed? I appreciate paste

  282. coming ninety two. I've seen the Holy Ghost move in affirmation of what the

  283. songwriter wrote. Just a little talk which Jesus will make it right, it'll

  284. fix it. But I have found there's been times it's taking a LinkedIn conversation

  285. of falling at his feet and change in my posture. That's something you don't

  286. hear a lot about anymore. The old timers is to tell the future clear

  287. warriors. Don't you get comfortable? Can you pray? Because as soon as

  288. you get comfortable, you're gonna find yourself being distracted. You're gonna find yourself.

  289. Don't treat it. You're gonna find yourself samp thing off. Oh yes,

  290. sir, There's been times I pulled a pillow out from under my knees

  291. and felt the twll for on my knee. Cats Me calls, hey,

  292. I knew that pillow. It's gonna cause my prayer to be hinder What about

  293. it? Nothing between my soul and my savior. Do you care about the

  294. words that are leaving the lips of the Master. It's no wonder the Lord

  295. chose him to reveal himself too in this manner. So many years later,

  296. sister Cheryl, I just remembered you like to read the Book of Revelation.

  297. It is so good to know that you've been converted and no longer feel spiritual

  298. conflict. When your pastor says, turned with me to the Book of the

  299. Revelation. You see, John was able to receive this revelation of Jesus Christ

  300. becalls him. He was the only disciple to have a normal death. Now,

  301. according to history and to evil dictators and kings, her tried to take

  302. his life in such crew manners that you cannot imagine. When a story said

  303. they tried to bull her Chod in oil, and they were unsuccessful. They

  304. successful, They executed the other disciples, but they were unable to destroying child.

  305. I wouldn't be Why could it have been? Because her? Of his

  306. relationship with his Lord. He had more than a little talk when Jeanesus,

  307. he hadn't quite up anyone wit he talks of historian say, they would praying,

  308. Hide would pray her. He would pray for a while. After a

  309. while they looked up on his kneecats, he who had become mal forward.

  310. They had become mal forward because her of his posture and prayer. He wasn't

  311. laying on the side of the time. He wasn't laying her on this spellion

  312. things goes an opera. He was paying sometimes six or eight hours a day.

  313. The medical position said upon his death, and his heart had shifted and

  314. it changed positions Becauseul of his prayer life. Oh my God, or you

  315. changing positionence? If you call her on his feet, becaus you overwhelmed her

  316. Lord had one position. But if we're falling his feet Becauseul, we've been

  317. overshadowed and overpower. You don't have her another persistent I hope that's not going

  318. over your head. But if you ever get in the spirit of God,

  319. as brother Jesse said, and you get in the floor, and then scriptures

  320. start rolling, and that spirit starts making intercession. You know you have a

  321. different position with the Lord. I won't say this again. It's no wonder

  322. that God chose John to linked in his days. The Bible said, children,

  323. obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. That's also

  324. one of the commandments with promise. It promises us lenked of days if we

  325. are obedient to our parents. Or you'll listening here that night, I know

  326. we're about to have something good to eat. Just carry with me just a

  327. little while. Should I keep preaching us? Should we don't get some need?

  328. You see this man John, he was preserved in life in order for

  329. him to end up being on the all of patness. And he got in

  330. the spirit on the Lord's day and he experenced this unveiling of Jesus Christ.

  331. I remember brother Roy Dampier used to drive from Late Placid down here, and

  332. he did that for several several years. Sister, you will remember one particular

  333. he came into the storefront and he was literally shining. You could see his

  334. hair sparkling. I thought, behind this man's never, ladies, usually about

  335. an hour early, and usually he wants to talk to the pastor, and

  336. knowing I have to preacher, and here he's coming the back door and he's

  337. just glittering. Hey, Ed had put glitter in his hair. Likes some

  338. girl that guy's do. Today he had a wreck on the way to church

  339. and his vehicle went down in the ditch. Down here South Florida. We

  340. got canals. We don't have them little be easily tiny ditches like you see

  341. in the Carolinas or in Tennessee. We've got canals. He said, preacher,

  342. that Lincoln Continental was off in that canal. And when I climbed out

  343. of the canal, oh you could see was a tail lights sticking up.

  344. I laughed, and I laughter, and brother, we laughed at During the

  345. service he pulled the blast sharks out a brother, Roy Damper's hair. I

  346. tell it right, sister, where there's anybody else remembering thatswer Oh. That

  347. man was probably in US mid eighties, but that did not keep him her

  348. from making his father to the House from God. He may not have been

  349. perfect, don't tell me any different. But I didn't know that the man

  350. loved his cheese and faith. And I couldn't borrow her. The man loved

  351. his post. And if you really loves somebody who just asked her a woman

  352. this tacta a sonsier boy, some man over there in Takistan Afgnistan, look

  353. in Taklestan. They will get to them if they can. No matter the

  354. hardship, not a new pipericlking came here. Come to him. Amen.

  355. This man came to church. That man was special to our church family.

  356. That man was very special to me. John was to Jesus. The term

  357. that the world uses is endearment. Endearment is a word or phrase used to

  358. describe a person for which the speaker feels love. I think Jesus loved John,

  359. and John loved Jesus. I love that man Royd Deppear and he loved

  360. me. How many of him know that your brothers and sisters in this fielding

  361. they love you. But the most important thing for you is that you have

  362. a personal experience with Jesus. Let's think about our Golden text again, in

  363. Revelation one at seventeen and cent when I saw him, I fell at his

  364. feet as dead, and he laid his right hand upon me, saying,

  365. unto me, fear not I am the first and I am the last of

  366. I am here at Lertica and what's dead, And behold, I'm alive forevermore.

  367. Amen, and have the keys of hell and dead. This last passage

  368. a scripture describes her that John had a personal encounter with Jesus, and Jesus

  369. stated that he is the first and the last. I want you to know

  370. that John saw Jesus has his first lover and his last love. It was

  371. said in this book, I have someone against her because her you have loved

  372. your personal love. I'm talking to somebody tonight. You're waiting until her to

  373. paul his people? Why not do now? Hell, I'm preaching over I

  374. fall at his feet because I have been overshadowed and overpowered. Some of you

  375. have fallen fell at his feet because you have been overwhelmed. There's a big

  376. difference, is a very very big difference. I want to say that this

  377. was God John's first encounter with the Lord, and it wouldn't be his last

  378. experience either. To night, as you all were shouting and worshiping in praising

  379. the Lord, I saw y'all have another encounter with a master, yet another

  380. experience with the Lord. Things had changed in the Master's life since John last

  381. saw him. John's life had changed since he had last saw Jesus. At

  382. this encounter, John saw him. This time he fell at his feet as

  383. dead at the amount of transfiguration. They did fall on their faces, those

  384. three precious men of God, Peter, James, and John had fallen upon

  385. their face. But this time they seen him in a way that they knew

  386. he was. They knew he was the first and the last. They knew

  387. he was the author and the finisher of their faith. But now, Brother

  388. Nathaniel, faith terminades, expires or ends in sight. Now I see him

  389. for myself. Now I see him as he is. While the Lord was

  390. upon this earth, John had seen him thousands of times, tens of thousands

  391. of times, during the Lord's three and a half years of ministry. After

  392. the Lord called James and John, the sons of thundered to follow him,

  393. follow him. They had witnessed him. They had saw him agonized in prayer.

  394. They had witnessed the Lord being enveloped by the spirit of the wilderness.

  395. They had seen the Lord exercise his authority over devils. They saw the Lord

  396. transpari. However, this time, at this encounter it was different. There's

  397. some in this building right now daydreaming. There's some right now thinking on the

  398. Easter Bunny or something. Nay, maybe not. There's some right now not

  399. even thinking about I must tell Jesus all of my troubles. I must get

  400. to Jesus. It's good to go to Jesus when you're overwhelmed. That's right.

  401. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Oh. Yes,

  402. quote that. Encourage yourself to the Lord. But it's another thing to

  403. get into his presence like you all did tonight. As the Youth choir was

  404. singing, and as the quartet was singing, are y'all starting to get the

  405. picture of what I'm talking about. There's some people in this building. Your

  406. problem is you have not yet had a really deep experience with the Lord.

  407. You have not had this great encounter this. Some have been experienceerience that John

  408. had experienced. Let that sink in. Have you ever been overpowered by the

  409. presence of the glory of the Lord. I've seen these spirit filled believers.

  410. The Holy Ghost in dwells in them, and I've seen it when the Holy

  411. ghosts ushers them into the Throne Room of God seemingly and they get into the

  412. presence of the Lord, and you see their posture begin to change. It's

  413. one thing to come into the building and in corporate worship we begin to worship

  414. and praise the Lord in harmony and in the spirit of unity. That is

  415. wonderful. We know the positions and we know the postures to take. When

  416. we're seeing, we know to stand, and we know to clap our hands.

  417. When we're praying, we know to bout our heads and bend our knees.

  418. But whenever you get in the presence of God, God will change your

  419. posture. You might have been worshiping Him in spirit and truth in the company

  420. of other believers a little while ago. But if you will get overshadowed and

  421. overpowered tonight by His power and his glory, whether that happens in this building,

  422. in the alt of service that happens momentarily, or whether it happens over

  423. there in fire forest tomorrow or in your house, if you will see to

  424. it that you personally have an encounter with the Lord of this nature, and

  425. you can, you will never be the same. You may get happy,

  426. and you may take a lap around the church, but are you doing it

  427. because you've been overwhelmed, and you need to run through a troop and you

  428. need to leap overwhelm. Are you doing it because you've been overpowered and overshadowed

  429. until you collapse at his feet and rolled in his glory. This verse of

  430. scripture tells me that I can pray, praise, and worship him until I

  431. get an audience with him, and it will transfer transformed by posture. Why

  432. does it transform a person's posture because they find themselves in the right position with

  433. a master? Brother, Jesse, how will you knew you had an audience

  434. with a king as he began to whisper into your heart of his newness,

  435. glorious attributes. You'll know you're in a right position with a king. After

  436. you have an encounter and you see him for how holy he is, you'll

  437. know and you will no longer have a struggle at all with serving God in

  438. the beauty of holiness. After you get caught up in his holiness, you

  439. will become captivated by his holiness, and you will do everything you can not

  440. to displease his holiness. The Lord made himself very real unto John, and

  441. I feel our sister Wooding and Sister, how old there's some people in this

  442. building. The reason why they're unchanged is because they have tasted, but they

  443. have not went back for another taste. Even Jacob of Old had had an

  444. experience, and he said, I must go back to Bethel, and we

  445. must sanctify our self family, including removing the jewelry off of our persons.

  446. Will bury it over here to oak sheepher, and we must have another encounter.

  447. Jod revealed to the Lord his love in Jesus in returned Reville, and

  448. to John himself as he is. I know who he is. He's King

  449. of kings and Lord of Lord, Brother Jesse. When you come to the

  450. piano tonight, would you pray about whatever it is y'all had seen, Sinster.

  451. We've been churching down here now sixteen or seventeen years. We've preached,

  452. we've fooled, we've pushed, we've pried as in led of the Lord to

  453. do so. And I believe God has honored the labors of love of these

  454. elders, these teachers and preachers, and impersonated what until we gets you to

  455. understand whom you must see the King. There's a song that goes like this,

  456. take me to the King. You know why John had such an experience

  457. later in life, because early in life he wanted to be close to Jesus.

  458. How about it, a you want to warn yourself by the world's fire.

  459. Are you wanting to hump nob with the people of this world? Or

  460. is pleasing him all that matters? All along? All that mattered, But

  461. John was pleasing the Lord. And I do feel liberty in my heart.

  462. And there's some of you that aren't spirit filled. The Holy Ghost does not

  463. endwell in your vessel. You don't need to be thinking about that dessert out

  464. there on that table. And if you get in his presence and have the

  465. right encounter with him, the desserts can rot. You're getting in them.

  466. The world stops spinning. You don't want church to end that night, Brother

  467. Philip or Brother Sam. You got the Holy Ghost that they were in the

  468. spirit out there in the churchyard for what seemed like two and a half to

  469. four hours? How long was it hours? It was wonderful. They were

  470. lost in the presence of the Holy Ghost. I think we could have said,

  471. Brother Gabriel, cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger, and they have said Jesus,

  472. Jesus Jesus. I'm not here to beat you up tonight. I'm here

  473. to tell you I have trained through your issue, and I understand what it

  474. is. The problem is you don't care anything about having an encounter with the

  475. King, and you only use him from what you can get. When I'm

  476. overwhelmed, I fall at his feet again. Point number one is we're all

  477. standing. I fell at his feet because I was overwhelmed. Would be the

  478. testimony of some point number two. John would give this testimony, Brother d

  479. I fell at his feet because I was overpowered by his majesty. I was

  480. overpowered by his glory. How many of you have ever been in his presence

  481. in such a way that you felt like you were being taken away from this

  482. world and literally being ushered by the spirit of God into the very throne room

  483. of the Lord. Has it been a while? Do you miss it?

  484. Do you miss it? I'm sure John missed it. And when Jesus showed

  485. up and finally he had saw it many times he saw when he was transfigured,

  486. when he was transported, But this time, Brother Jonathan, the only

  487. response was he fell on his face as dead. Cardinality will no longer be

  488. a problem where you served, ma'am, those little things, the little foxes

  489. that are destroying divine that should be bringing forth fruit in your life, and

  490. the gifts and the fruits and the spirit, the little foxes. You'll forget

  491. about the little foxes. What seems like mountains right now will become mole hills.

  492. Our old sense that somebody in this building is getting it tonight, when

  493. getting in his presence is all that matters. You forget about being on Factmos.

  494. You forget about the banishment, You forget about the persecution, You forget

  495. about the problems. You forget about all the other criminals that are on the

  496. island. You forget about the rough living conditions. Falling dead would not have

  497. been a wise thing to do where God fearing man has been living on an

  498. island inhabited by criminals. But if their brother Jerebidy in his presence, I'm

  499. safe and security. Do you know why brother how and sister Howard's lost pre

  500. spared the other night when trouble came looking for us, Because the night before,

  501. we told you all before we dismiss service, we had been troubled through

  502. the night, and what that was Our Master kept waking us up and he

  503. kept saying, see talk to me. I'm going to lead you into green

  504. pastures. I'm going to lead you besides still waters. I wonder what would

  505. have happened Brother Philip and dad Mom had not had the encounters that we had

  506. the night before. I would say that we wouldn't be here preaching. Our

  507. witness has said they saw that man throw either an after a gun in the

  508. place. Take me to the King. I was in his presence seventeen years

  509. old in October of nineteen ninety two. The service got down about how it

  510. is right now, conviction settling in a decision to be made. All of

  511. service begins. The altars were open, and I knew I needed to walk

  512. up there. Not just because he's open. You all through this the routine

  513. or the thing to do, or I move well because something going on at

  514. the job or discording the family, or I lost my best friend or my

  515. dog got sitting, not because I was overwhelmed. I just came to him

  516. and literally a glory cloud enveloped me, and I remember just melting and falling

  517. to my knees, and I got lost in his presence. About twenty five

  518. minutes later, I got carried further away, and I found myself throwing nigh

  519. to God, brother Philip, and he was drawing nigh to me. I

  520. guess about an hour after that, I remember going through to the baptism of

  521. the Holy Ghosts. And when I went home that night, when I opened

  522. my bedroom door, I heard these words breathed, not the spirit quenched out

  523. the Holy Ghost. I got rapped back down on my knees and got rapped

  524. back in his present. That's why your pastor's the man he is today when

  525. the Holy ghost gets to move him, or take my hands off, because

  526. I know what is said tonight, he filled me. I feel like this

  527. somebody getting hold of this tonight. Years ago when I was a new convert

  528. and I was having difficulty staying focused while training, and I heard an old

  529. preacher say that he started to have it, but putting a chair beside him

  530. and saying, Jesus, I invite you to sit here vegetary a while.

  531. When I talked to him, he said, he kneel down right beside him,

  532. very reverent there respectfully, and he talked to him for twenty minutes that

  533. he listened for five talked to him, listened to him. He said,

  534. don't talk him to stay focused because he'd realized that Jesus is omnipresent and Jesus

  535. is right there. But he says something about having that chair there helped him

  536. stay focused. That is always going to be those people that feel like it's

  537. just a proper thing to do that they must do what the pastor said.

  538. Sometimes I think it's an attention don't and a distracting dimple. And so when

  539. pastoral wisdom after all these years, I'm going to manage that. And I

  540. didn't have to say all that, but I'm teaching the future generation, and

  541. some people don't like it when I give you that. For Nasis, I

  542. want to get these other two chairs and put them at the front, because

  543. there's gonna be somebody that's gonna come up here that doesn't need to come here.

  544. But if there's somebody you know you need a very real encounter with Jesus,

  545. he will meet you here at night. Now's your chance. Will you

  546. come? Is this somebody that will come kneel into chairs say I know what

  547. I need. You can be fooling the Holy Ghost of saying I know I

  548. need another touch, I need another encounters, I need another experience, because

  549. there's some others. We've got two milli chi's some others. Maybe we're out

  550. of chairs. Now you just need to kneel at the altar at the platform.

  551. Once you say bored, I mean whatever it takes to get to Jesus.

  552. I need Jesus, say cod I tell this stud because I was all

  553. for plows, cheese and old a shadow, pigs bored or from bos Oh

  554. the world just want church for me overall on me sweating here and say I

  555. would walk. I would run right Jesus, I'm feeling because okay, he

  556. was comfortable and drive in the boat that sawy nine. When Peter saw the

  557. Lord out on the sea, he said, Lord, you're not that far.

  558. Let me come to where you are. As stepped out of the boats

  559. me whatver rechage again to Jesus. Are just want tusk for me? Throw

  560. me to and say come, I would not belong to Jesus. The Lord

  561. days against dies just for tu been for all to me. You hear in

  562. say I would love love round to get Jesus. Ver taste to get to

  563. Jesus. Just want to be a good broad to you here and say come,

  564. I walk to get to Jesus. Maybe you can't sit down that road,

  565. And what are you being god on leaving no? The hoop inside your

  566. heart is all well, friend, I have good news. Hoop is reaching

  567. out to you. He's right here in this room. Don't let it pass

  568. you buy tover taste against Jesus. Just more touch will be the raw.

  569. So when you hear it, say wall by rot, Jesus, take me

  570. to the keys. Uster Hardstor said, it's my lelong the keys upon your

  571. good change. So take meat calls it says a week, no streets to

  572. fly, no change to rise, even if I try, but still bustle

  573. refuses to die. Want will change, taking meat and the key a doll,

  574. have much degree, A long shorty pieces. It's my baby at the

  575. car. Leave me to gain the moll your b see this song, take

  576. me to the gay. I don't have much to breath A hard shorty pieces,

  577. it's my blame me at the door. Believe me there will to gain

  578. the mod your love seeing this long me thro the day. These games made

  579. for the people, as to Lord speak, ride ladies fall and rain.

  580. We're dispreed. We're chasing that dream. No rules, no religion. I

  581. may my decision to leave you the oh take me to the king. I

  582. don't have much to break a horns horned pieces, it's my brain. Leave

  583. me at the brown, leave me there alone? The game, the bond,

  584. the scene, this dee sais the king? What about these space?

  585. What about how we came? What about the bloody said on cavalry washed the

  586. scene the lame? Think of all he's done and now we episode were God

  592. want to leave him, want single mean it only out Jesus see it because

  593. when I look aroun no place to go? Oh what about he's way?

  594. What about him he came? What about the place on gallery? They watched

  595. the change away? Think of all is down? All he u the slow

  596. come, he's never gone away? What about he's a way Well
