Aren't you glad to be in the House of the Lord tonight. Well,
-
we want to ask brother Philip Howell to come around and give his testimony.
-
Before he does, I want you to know we give God all of the
-
praise, the honor and the glory for what he has done. He has
-
truly done a wonderful thing. It is marvelous in our eyes and also in
-
the eyes of the physicians. There will always be those naysayers. As long
-
as you live, and as long as your children and grandchildren live, there
-
will be nay sayers. But we have documented truth and evidence that our Lord
-
is a miracle worker. He's a miracle worker. We think him for his
-
gymnasts and his messuit. And it's still all in our Sweet Jesus, with
-
thet in, the honor, the praise, and the glory. I know
-
about this time last year, our lives were forever changed as we come under
-
suspicion that brother Philip had a serious health issue and would be facing a very
-
serious health crisis and the immediate future. And he was. He'll give some
-
details. Some we need to know, in some we don't, so some
-
he will withhold from us, but we'll good enough to know that our Lord
-
is still Jehovah roclap. He has not had a name change. He is
-
still the God that heals and greatly helps his people. How many of you
-
believe there's healing in the atoning blood of Jesus that assures us of healing being
-
available to each and every one of us, and also salvation, healing of
-
the body and healing of the soul. We thank the Lord for that.
-
My brother Philip will not give the exact name we're type of the cancer,
-
but I can assure you I've traveled with him many, many, many miles.
-
We together went to many Numers hospital visits and talked with some of the
-
best cancer doctors in the world, and they all have wholeheartedly one hundred percent
-
agreed concurred while he want an aggressive, rare form of cancer. They say,
-
at any given time, two hundred thousand people may have a certain type
-
of cancer, five hundred thousand, sometimes maybe as low as fifty or sixty
-
thousand people. They say, if you ever see or hear of account of
-
two thousand or less of people having a certain type of cancer at a given
-
time, that is a rare form and perhaps an aggressive form of cancer.
-
Type of cancer that is, in their words, untreatable and incurable. Brother
-
Philip is not one of two thousand. He was one of four hundred and
-
forty. At any given time, they've told us that almost two hundred thousand
-
women have breast cancer. Brother Philip is one of four hundred. They told
-
him, we don't know how to treat this cancer. We don't know if
-
it will work or not. We don't know that chemotherapy and radiation will work
-
or not. I wanted to come around and testify and tell of the good
-
things the Lord has done for him. I thank the Lord for anything he's
-
done for me, and most of you know the wonderful work onths back.
-
I I've noticed that I had a I think it's well. I had noticed
-
about this time last year, yet I didn't tell nobody. I mean we
-
what I noticed name that in our convention was when I've really noticed it started
-
to grow. So I pushed it not for months, and then I believe
-
Dad, they want their Alaskan cruise, and so I got a hold of
-
a doctor in Fort Myers, scheduled my appointment with him, and so Dad
-
didn't come home as on h I get a little most Pappy promise. So
-
they got home from them Alaskans bruised that Sunday that no, he was getting
-
ready to preach that Sunday afternoon. So he was up. Maybe he come
-
out of his room and his kind of shoes, and so I told him,
-
I said, this kid, So I told him, I said,
-
Dad, I got something to tell you. So he's sitting there. Oh,
-
my siblings know to see, he always sits in And so I told
-
him, I said, I got a mask that's been growing for a few
-
months, and I got a a boyment scheduled with the doctor and in Fort
-
Myers down there near Health Park. And so Dad, I think me and
-
Dad went down there whatever, and so he looked at at and he said,
-
man, there's only only one thing to do is let's go into surgery
-
and take it out because I don't know if it's cancerous or not. So
-
I go into that surgery that I can't remember the day it's on anything I
-
know. But so I have that surgery that go in and pull the masks
-
out. So they had to send it off for a biopsy, and so
-
then I believe it was So we waited for our results and it was one
-
week before our wedding almost to today, my business wedding, Me, Dad,
-
Mom, Elizabeth, and I think Hannah went over to Fort Myers and
-
so I don't know what. I didn't have a strong inclination that it is
-
cancerous, but so I'm totally Elizabeth and at this stay in the corner with
-
Mom and Hannah. So me and Dad went into the into this man's physician,
-
this physicious practice. So I knew as soon as his nurse coming too,
-
he just kind of profit on the wall, and so he told us,
-
yes, this is they come back camps risk, but it's extremely rare.
-
He told me that I think he'd been doing it for thirty five years,
-
that type of work. And then he had three colleagues and so they
-
had like one hundred and twenty years combined experience, and only one of them
-
had ever seen a case of guessing it was back in med school. And
-
so needs to say. He said, I don't, I don't know what
-
to tell you. And he said, they might put your chemo, they
-
might say just we don't know what it is. Really, let's just watch
-
it see the course, he said, But my best recommendation is to send
-
y'all up to Mofflet. So he got me in touch with some doctors at
-
Moffitt. So then me and dad and the family we went up to myfit
-
and so I surgeon up there. He said, man, the best thing
-
to do with where it's located is we're glad to cut you from It's like
-
a nine inch cut, basically blow the belly button all the way up in
-
between my roots. And so he said, when you go in there and
-
test all your lymph nodes and make sure you know, maybe it hadn't traveled
-
that far yet. So time goes on and we keep discussing it, and
-
then we go have that surgery. I think most of you I remember we
-
had to leave that Sunday afternoon. It was that that Monday morning early.
-
It was obviously most you know, a very major surgery. I think it
-
had to oor schedule for like seven or eight hours. So they go in,
-
they tested twenty three of my lymph nodes that they're more behind your spine,
-
but they enter from the front. Ye on me, I think I
-
said it was they tested twenty three, so I think they're done thirteen and
-
the nine or something like that. And so a couple of them come back
-
positive for the type of cancer. And so they said, man, we
-
don't know what to tell you. They said, we got this, if
-
it's fine with you. We got what's called the tumor boar here at Mafia,
-
and it's the top of every division of cancer. And they all they
-
once a month, I think it's on Tuesday, they happen what they called
-
the Meeting of the minds. So the tumor board gets together and discusses the
-
critical cases that they don't understand. And he said, if you're fine with
-
that, I'd like to present your case in it and see what they say.
-
And so they had their big meeting and all that, and so then
-
I get a call from a doctor. They had a consume meeting with me,
-
and so he was telling me what they thought we what they recommended doing.
-
And he said, he said, it's funny. He said, I've
-
never I've never seen this. One or two of the other people have seen
-
it. Years back. This form of cancer told me like that, you
-
said, he said, below five hundred it is how many people have that?
-
He said that there was a boy in a in another country. He
-
said, I'm treating right now with this same this same cancer, said we're
-
trying to figure out what to do too. I need to try to call
-
in and ask how that that my same age. There was like eight nine
-
months gap between us, he said, but he was over in a different
-
country than They went in and took the mats out, and you know,
-
he said, just tag him on the back. He said, you're good
-
to go. So then he got ate up something he'd come over here to
-
the States, and it turned out his very lymph nodes that they went and
-
tested and took out of me and all that. And now he said,
-
this kid, we don't know what to do for it. So it's very
-
serious. So they took that out, told me that we need to go
-
on the six months chemo, three months just chemo, and then three months
-
chemo and radiation, and so all that went on. I got my three
-
months of chemo and then kind of where the story gets exciting for me,
-
we were having that. We were having a revival a few weeks back in
-
Pastor had us warmed the circle square around the church and said, trying to
-
make sure there's no gap and just fill it out. He said, I
-
want us to pray, and when you feel lad, we're gonna cast out
-
the sickness. We're gonna cast out the devil everything we can and just cleave
-
the blood of kids over the church. And then so that went on,
-
I'd say for twenty five minutes, man powerful, and then instead, brother
-
Philip, you and some of the brothers go to that back door and cast
-
it out cancer. And I remember it so real. I didn't know the
-
very moment that happened. So there was an old hen field the oh.
-
I remember looking out and praying like I've never prayed before in a situation like
-
that. And in that moment, I told the Lord, I said,
-
I know you can heal me. I don't. I don't doubt it one
-
bit. But if you heal me, I still want to falling through with
-
everything. It's the pain to get started and trying to cancel that. They're
-
not gonna understand that. So I told him, I said, if you
-
let my hair grow, I will I know for sure. I knew you
-
could heal even without a sign. But and so we got done praying.
-
I felt the words so stronger they kind of settled back down, and I
-
went to the bathroom and you know, before I open the door, like,
-
man, I'm not city hair so I go in and look, I
-
didn't see nothing. I didn't I didn't get it straw or nothing like that.
-
And so we ended that night's service and went went home. That night.
-
I can't I have the days on in my phone somewhere. I'm writing
-
my story for say, I'm trying to get it right. So we went
-
home and I knew that morning I felt just a little fuzz or you know,
-
just to begin it. So that that went on for I think almost
-
for almost three days, and I didn't say nothing to nobody, and we
-
were that was in the Beginning Park. It was well more of the end
-
of the second week when the rooms were here, so the ashes were done
-
in at this time, and we I had went down one of my chemos
-
and I come back and I met Dad and the astros at lock habit,
-
and I just took my hat off, just the habit and Dad looked and
-
said, your hair growing. I just laughed and I said, yes,
-
sir. And so I went home. And I went home that day and
-
I went to begin and that I was feeling pretty rough, and so get
-
a nap before church, and Elizabeth about a shower of something, and I
-
just started rubbing my head, and I was thinking about it, and I
-
said, Lord, I know I was. I was laying in my bed.
-
I said, Lord, did you heal me? And some of you
-
heard. I'm I don't claim to know hear the voice of God often,
-
I know I'm know hearing how it's I know for a fact. As sure
-
as I was laying I heard a voice saying, rub your head, all
-
right, And I rub my head and I just started laughing. They listen
-
if you're walking by it. He just kind of looked at me and smiled.
-
I hadn't even told her what I told the Lord. I hadn't told
-
nobody. And then we get to church that night, and then Pastor says,
-
I'm gonna I knew for days I needed to testify about it, but
-
I was waiting for the right time, and and so getting ready maybe could
-
get for the ash. We're having a real powerful part and said about my
-
hair and girl, and I said, man, I gotta tell everybody.
-
I know. I was illed. So I I testified about it that night
-
a little bit, and so so then I uh, I testified out it.
-
My hair it's still growing, it's grown by the day. It's a
-
little thin, but I mean to sell everything, I cried, so and
-
I, uh, I go back. I got another few things, a
-
chemo, and so they told me you're at your your three month mark.
-
We're gonna we're gonna take a break. I think the skin a little under
-
two weeks and we'll get everything planned and schedule for the final three In radiation.
-
It said, so you'll go for your your three months follow up scan,
-
and so I said, all right, we'll go. So I had
-
a h think, I said, chess cavity one. I had that gone
-
a few days prior with contrasts and all that. So got my results back
-
clean on that right. And then I went and got my petskin, which
-
is the major. When they give you that, they say it's radiation a
-
little just a small tracer of radiation. And so man, I think for
-
the peace of God, like I get my things. Every time they just
-
kind of laugh. I fell I fell asleep every time I got a skin,
-
just laying there and I'm ah umping machine like in the world. And
-
so we went down to Miami to celebrate the halfway point. And so we
-
were sitting there at the Starbucks down in Miami and I get a phone call
-
and I rarely answered over this woman. They call every time to say work
-
your appointment such and such a I'll hear that I'm gonna be there, so
-
I answer it. And it's my nurse. He says, Hey Philip,
-
this is it wasn't Britain. I can't hear more than okay, really,
-
my best nursey. I got like ten over there. She said, Hey,
-
Philip, this is Katie. I said, hey, Katie, how's
-
it going? She said, going good. We just got your results back
-
from your head skin. She said, everything's showing clean. At the halfway
-
point, she said, this is this is crazy. How does that?
-
Oh? And congratulate you ta, I've never seen it in the halfway.
-
This is congratulation. I said, thank you. I appreciate it. And
-
so I thank the Lord for anything he's done. Okay, I think brother
-
Tyler steps a down. I think of his last son and not and he
-
said something about again like an accessible god or something. I don't like him,
-
and I got to thinking about that. Adam, you can't hurt John's
-
open door policy now, but some bosses. I get a new supervisor.
-
Hey man, I got to open door policy. Anytime you need to come
-
in That's that's how God is. Anytime we're in trouble, if you're saying
-
and you're doing things right, it might be just a simple old God.
-
Hey, you got an audience with a king. There ain't a president,
-
a king, anybody that you can't even get in touch with him. You
-
can't get in here. It's as simple as us. Lord, I need
-
him in this situation. And that's what happened that night. And another thing
-
when pastors said out the thing on a photocircle. I sit there and I
-
said, Lord, I like to have something to put on there, and
-
immediately this scripture come to me. I think it's Matthew fifteen to twenty something
-
like that about where it says Jesus speaking says all power is given to be
-
at heaven and in arth. I'm thankful that is power in heaven. But
-
we ain't in heaven yet, so I'm very thankful that he's got all power,
-
in all his power on him saying thank Lord. And I can't I
-
can't give what he done from me justice. I thank the Lord for anything.
-
I feel like the morn is tking me pleen a cancer go to help
-
you. I thank you for men a pu profession. I'm thank you for
-
doctors. I thank you for serative. I thank you for anything than at
-
plaqueen a cancer do here. Thank you for you set a head of food.
-
You know, I mean, you gotta have a name right now.
-
I gotta baking today in in Sunday School. That's the final thing that we
-
had on our petition. I want to be here and I know just a
-
few days later I be here and like I said, or have we got?
-
We got that there was a moving name, any s
