You turn with me to Saint John's Gospel.
-
May I direct your attention to the second chapter and
-
the seventh verse.
-
Brother Nathaniel, would.
-
You turn to First Samuel, chapter number fifteen and burse
-
number twenty two, My brother, brother Jesse, Saint Luke's Gospel,
-
chapter number six and verse number forty six.
-
You all look great, yoh, hold on.
-
Just for a minute while I prayed him, and then followed,
-
I pray that you would forgive me for life.
-
No, really, and truly, you all look great. It's so
-
good to see each one in the House of the Lord.
-
It's good to see our visitors in the back, all
-
of you that are here. They say there's about seventy
-
something here tonight. We're thankful for that, aren't you thankful
-
that there's seventy something people in Rebel Florida or wants
-
to go to church. There's so many places you could
-
have been in tonight. You could have got in trouble,
-
but you came into the House of the Lord. That
-
I'm very thankful and I commend you. Thank you for
-
gathering together. You remember the Apostle said.
-
Do not forsave the sembling of ourselves together. Even back
-
at his time on this earth, he said, as the
-
manner of some is.
-
He said, we've all noticed they have other places to be,
-
other things to do, other people to visit.
-
But he said, please don't do that as the manner
-
of some is.
-
And even more, as you see the day of the
-
Lord approaching, y'all just gather together because it is so easy.
-
For the child of God to be distracted.
-
There's so much good news and so much bad news
-
to distract the child of God.
-
How many of you are certain of that?
-
News on every end used to you received a newspaper. Now,
-
if you have a cell phone, news comes in, news
-
that you weren't even looking for. An example of this,
-
I'm having to preach over the top of this tonight.
-
Somebody sent me and link to an article. Nine people
-
died just over here in Palm Beach. Nine people died.
-
They had nine people in an suv. I believe.
-
They said it was a Ford explorer that's packing them
-
in like sardines. They lost control of that vehicle, no doubt.
-
They must have been traveling.
-
At an excessive rate of speed.
-
They went spiraling out of control and ended up in
-
the bottom of a canal. They said, nine under the
-
ten people have died. They've been requesting prayer for the family,
-
And I just sat there in my vehicle under the carport.
-
Sister, how on my bride heard me say, Oh God,
-
what a loss, Oh.
-
God, what a loss. How many of you know Job
-
knows all about that ten children died. Imagine that funeral,
-
ten children, ten caskets had to walk in there and
-
still say the wonderful things he said about his God.
-
So despite what's gone going on in the world, all
-
of the good news, all of the bad news, news,
-
news news, I've got some good news for you here tonight.
-
I feel out the Lord wants to bless his people.
-
I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled
-
feel it and he will feel it.
-
Feel it f I L L and he will feel it.
-
Feel How many of you have ever done something for
-
somebody and you could tell they just were not at
-
all interested in you doing that. It didn't make them excited,
-
it didn't make them happy. And because they didn't feel it,
-
you didn't want to do it again. You didn't want
-
to do anything for them. And that's what I'm saying
-
here tonight. I want you to remember that that's what
-
I'm trying to get across to us, is we want
-
the Lord to know that we will do whatever he
-
has asked us to do, so.
-
That he will feel like with more force.
-
Oh yes, I want him to feel like doing something
-
else for me, And so I would never want to
-
act as interested in what he's doing, and I would
-
never want to be disobedient when he commands me to
-
do something. And that's what's behind this message right here tonight.
-
Brother Nathaniel.
-
First Samuel, chapter number fifteen and verse number twenty two,
-
a very familiar portion of scripture to.
-
The Bible reader, and Samuel said, half the Lord is
-
great light, burn offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the
-
voice of the Lord.
-
Behold it is Behold.
-
To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than
-
the fat of rams. Behold, to obay is better than sacrifice,
-
and to hearken than the fat of rams. The prophet Samuel,
-
the mighty man of God, was speaking to that specially
-
anointed and specially chosen and selected by the very end
-
of God, king Saul.
-
He was telling Saul, you disappointed the Lord because of
-
your disobedience.
-
I'm a feeling the Lord already, y'all feeling the Lord already. Therefore,
-
the Lord didn't feel like doing anything else for him,
-
Sister Wooton.
-
If he'll feel it, he'll feel it.
-
Brother Jesse, when you read Luke chapter number six, in
-
verse number forty.
-
Six, and why call ye me lord Lord?
-
And do not the things which I say?
-
Wow?
-
Isn't that something that somebody could look at the Savior,
-
stare him in the wide of the eyes and say
-
I love you. And Jesus's response is, why are you
-
saying that you won't even do what I've asked you
-
to do? Telling you that'll jerk the rug right out
-
from under somebody.
-
When God Almighty.
-
Himself says, you know what, you don't really love me
-
like you say you do. So let's read our text
-
John chapter number two, verse number seven.
-
This is what the Holy Ghost has given us for tonight.
-
Jesus say, unto.
-
Them, fill the water pots with water, and they filled
-
them up to the brim. Nunt you, neighbor, and say
-
a neighbor, they filled them up to the brim. Notice
-
that feeling, and he won't feel Heavenly Father, we love him,
-
We praise you, We thank you for the opportunity to
-
be in the.
-
House of the Lord. I prayed God, that you would
-
anoint this thy servant set of God at my mouth.
-
And help me to say the things that you would
-
have me to say, nothing.
-
More or less.
-
Anoint the ears of this thin people, that they might
-
hear what it is the Spirit of God says unto
-
the churches tonight. We pray God that these saints would
-
go below the shoulders. May they saturate the spirit and
-
the soul God. Not only may they do a world
-
within that mind.
-
God.
-
We don't want them to go any more to ear
-
and out to other. We want them to go below
-
the shoulders. God, I pray that you would help us God,
-
to be hearers only but to heed the things that
-
the Spirit of God has said to us tonight through
-
the preach word and through the Word of God. We'll
-
be careful to give you all praise, all honor, and
-
all glory. May we depart this place jotully and not sorrowly.
-
In Jesus' name in the church said, Amen, you may
-
be seated, praise the Lord. Reading our text again John
-
chapter number two, in verse number seven, the Bible said
-
Jesus saith unto them fill the water pots with water,
-
and they filled them up to the brim. Our golden
-
text is found in a New Testament book of the
-
Holy Bible, the Book of John. The title bears the
-
name of its author. This writing is the last volume
-
of four Gospels.
-
Ha Man.
-
If you are familiar with the martyr Polycarp, Polycarp was
-
a leader within the Early Church. After the apostles had
-
died and went to heaven, men such as Polycarp took
-
the reins of the Early Church. In fact, the martyr
-
Polycarp said before he was executed, he was burned at
-
the state, and just before his death he said, I
-
can assure you that the writing the Gospel of John
-
is authentic. He said, I knew that, beloved Apostle Charny.
-
It makes you feel a little more excited now when
-
you hear somebody sing about Polycarp, when they say he
-
would not rep he would not recamp, he would not
-
turn back on Jesus, even though he was strapped to
-
that stake and they were doing everything they could do
-
to terminate his life.
-
This great man of God.
-
Polycarp said, I can tell you that everything about John
-
and about Jesus that you read about in this gospel.
-
It is true. I thank God.
-
For the confirmation of authenticity by the great preacher of Polycarp.
-
But you know, even if there was not a Polycarp
-
to confirm this writing and the authenticity of the authorship,
-
I still know this to be the infallible and the
-
inerran word of Come. I thank God for a martyr
-
within christener named Polycarp that could say I loved and
-
treasure Saint John's gospel. I too, love and treasure Saint
-
John's Gospel. One of the reasons that I treasure it
-
the way I do, Sister Howard, is because I noticed
-
that the Apostle John was not hesitant or reluctant at
-
all to connect the dodgs between Christ and the creature.
-
He was not hesitant to connect the dodgs between Christ
-
and the creation. You see, John taught his readers of
-
the deity of Christ. There's a lot of people alive
-
today that do not believe in the doctrine of the
-
deity of Christ.
-
I do. I'm a proponent of it.
-
I promote it and I push it, just like the
-
Apostle John did. There is no doubt in my mind
-
that John believed Jesus Christ to be the son of God.
-
You will remember the proclamation of Peter that would preach
-
what it not a certam entitled the Proclamation of Peter.
-
He said, we are most certain, we are positive that
-
thou art Christ, the son of the Living God, and
-
Jesus said, flesh and blood. Has God revealed this unto you, Peter.
-
We know that the power of the Holy Ghost and
-
our good Father had revealed such a thing unto the
-
Apostle Peter. One example the Apostle Chalon gave his readers
-
is of the miracle at Cana. It was there our
-
Lord turned water into wine.
-
And friend, let me be.
-
Clear, only God can turn water into whine. I took
-
chemistry and high school, and I received good grades after
-
our efforts and our test and.
-
I want you to know that was not an easy subject.
-
How many of you are familiar with the periodic table?
-
Is that the correct name of such a table? School
-
now for over thirty years, and I was hoping I
-
had the name of such a table correct, the periodic table,
-
and it would also be the table of the elements.
-
And we had to memorize that table.
-
And we had to talk about the composition of each chemical. Basically,
-
we were talking about the nature of things, the nature
-
of substances, and so our beloved Apostle Paul, that were
-
Apostle child that were considering his writings tonight. He made
-
it clear that the Lord Jesus, the Creator, has the
-
power to change the very nature of things.
-
How many of you could say right now, I.
-
Have no doubt that the Lord and allow me to
-
experience a spiritual metamorphosis. And there was a radical transformation
-
in my life. And now I'm a new creature because
-
of the Creator, King Jesus.
-
But if Philip did not know what I was going
-
to preach.
-
About tonight, and he stood up and talked about David
-
invoking and attempting to activate the creative power of God.
-
When David planned with the Lord and said these words
-
create in me a clean heartor of God, and restored
-
within me a rote spirit, we find until Apostle Chold
-
believe that the Lord had changed the nature of water
-
into wine, he changed our nature?
-
Did he Nodge? Earning things have passed away?
-
To hold all things have to come do the great
-
Apostle Paul put it this way, Things are once loved
-
I now hate.
-
Things that I once hated. I now love.
-
For the man that used to didn't like to go
-
to church, he now cannot wait until it's time to
-
enter into the House of God, and he walks into
-
such a place as he passed through the gates. He
-
comes in with a praise upon his lips and thanksgiving.
-
Hard Why because of the change of his nature, he
-
changed my nature. I used to not be so excited
-
about going to church.
-
Sometimes I did it against my will because I was raised.
-
In a god, fear and family. But now it is my.
-
Honor and my privilege and my desire to come into
-
the House of God. I'm so thankful that he changed
-
the academic nature and put your spirit in sun of me.
-
You see, the Bible.
-
Readers and the students present tonight know a lot about
-
the wedding ceremony that is being considered in our text tonight.
-
This took place in a place called Cana. They can
-
tell us a little bit about the attendees. Obviously there
-
was a groom and a bride at prison. Also there
-
would have been invited guests. Amongst those invited guests was
-
married the.
-
Mother of Jesus.
-
I know, I know who extended an invitation on out
-
to Jesus and his numerous disciples, which somebody had extended
-
the invitation to.
-
The right man.
-
We open this service tonight inviting the Lord to have
-
his way. I'm into places before where the name of
-
the Lord was on the marquis or on the exterior
-
of the beard, and perhaps even on the law inside
-
of the sexualory that you can tell the Lord was
-
nowhere around that.
-
He just was not feeling it.
-
I'm telling you, God feels the praises of his people.
-
The Bible said that God inhabits the praises.
-
Of us people.
-
It is true that this is God's house, but we
-
still have to welcome him to have his way and
-
have his will in the service. So we know that
-
Jesus was welcomed as a visitor here. Now keep in
-
mind that Jesus had not performed a miracle as of yet,
-
and so this is the unveiling of the miracle worker.
-
The miracle worker himself did not feel like it was
-
the moment of his revelation. He did not feel like
-
this was the time for him to be exposed as
-
somebody that could change the very lass of nature.
-
And you see these disciples that they were there. They
-
had been freshly called up to this specially.
-
Chosen ministry that only a few had received, and they
-
had been faithful to follow Jesus. It was stepping away,
-
and he leads him to a ready that most of
-
you in.
-
This building tonight, you know that come.
-
Saturday, I'm gonna give away my only daughter. I've got
-
six children, five sons and one daughter. In this Saturday,
-
right here in this bearding, at about three o'clock or thereabouts,
-
he I'm gonna give.
-
Away my daughter to somebody else. Now, y'all think about
-
this with me.
-
They are at such a wedding ceremony, and Sister the
-
lord's mother is busy working. But while she was busy working,
-
she was looking for an opportunity to help the family
-
of this young couple find out if something was missing.
-
There's always that person that is looking over the shoulder
-
of the busy workers, seeing if something has been over
-
and looked or something was missed. There is no doubt
-
that Mary, there's more than a visitor. Mary made herself
-
useful at such a wedding ceremony. That's at some point
-
the mother of Jesus either heard a nervous conversation, a solid,
-
nervous pride reacting to a conversation that she had had.
-
Even though it was a whisper.
-
This pride was nervous, and the bridegroom was nervous. And
-
Mary knew this only one person I can get to
-
with this problem.
-
And it's my son, Jesus, And said a large mother Mary.
-
She came to him and she said, Jesus, we have
-
a problem. Dad.
-
You know all about this. You know all too well
-
about somebody saying her, we have a problem, mama's You.
-
Know all too much about a child saying Mama, I've
-
got a problem, and I don't know how to solve it.
-
I don't have the answer for this question of life.
-
Her pastor has heard so many times people's lifes were
-
like her shattered glass. They seemed to be in pieces
-
that God knows how to put that glasser back together. Yes,
-
it will be decorative, because now it is fractured and
-
there are cracks, and heir lies didner in looking it
-
up the stars of the humanity.
-
But Jesus can stain.
-
That broken glasser with his blood, and not that seeing
-
this carter now becomes a beautiful stained glasser of his
-
glory who displayed for humanity.
-
Now I watch it and know you may have.
-
To always bury in your body this carsel that's se him.
-
But Jesus he knows how to manager the sexual way,
-
sing and bring it to his glory. Amen, praise the Lord,
-
Thank you you Jesus.
-
Y'all.
-
Imagine the look of despair on the bride's face as
-
she realized we don't have enough. I don't have enough.
-
She would begin to take this personal. Suddenly, bride's guys
-
become great in an instant, in a moment she feels
-
like she has spelled her guests. I could see it now,
-
sister running from the fellowship Paul and saying, Pastor, we
-
were expecting visitors, but we were not expecting a crowd
-
of this number of magnitude.
-
What are we gonna do?
-
And I would say lot, Jesus said the martyr. Don't
-
be covered about so many things. Just take us two
-
hundred dollars cashing.
-
And go down there to Papaey's and buy some.
-
Food from the children and for the adults. And that's
-
the same thing that Mary knew. If I could get
-
this request to Jesus, I have no reason to fear it. Boucome,
-
whether or not come, he could meet this is. And
-
so the apostle sean he saw this and he made.
-
A record of it.
-
He admitted that they had a major problem. He did
-
not try to scratchy let out of this record. No,
-
he pointed it out. And then we finded the lad's
-
responsive to Mary, and I love it. Jesus said, woman,
-
what have I to do with e? He did say mama,
-
He did say mommy. He didn't say woman that is
-
highly favored or greatly blessed, as the angel had said.
-
He spoke to her in her humanity. But what's interesting
-
is that Mary, who knew who he was, that she
-
knew his abilities. And you can know she's the biological
-
and the earthly mother for Jesus. She is not too
-
pripa her to bowl her simple.
-
And his speaker and the pleaper for help. I want
-
you to know we final her in the ministry of Jesus.
-
His mother was a proponent and his father was a
-
supporter long before she married the hotel resty that the
-
preeple he Jesus woman, he acknowledges her humanity. The Catholics
-
have missed out.
-
On something very critical and very important.
-
By deifying Mary, I'm telling you they have become idologiers.
-
I know that that pressure fourteen or fifteen year old
-
girl was certainly a god fearing woman. Anybody that's having
-
an angel visits you and speak to you and declare
-
the you're greatly blessed and highly favored, must be a
-
special lady, somebody that had no doubt been meditating. Only
-
Lord Dave, and not but Gabril, and the only one
-
that knew of the humanity of Mary.
-
Joseph knew of it. Jesus knew of it as well.
-
And that's what I want you to know here tonight.
-
It's okay.
-
The humble myself had an altar and then responded and say, God,
-
I need to be transparent with my pastor and with
-
my parent and with the others.
-
I am in.
-
Need of divine assistance. I know that when my son
-
Philip was diagnosed with that aggressive, rare type of catcher,
-
only one of four hundred and forty in these United
-
States from America, and only one of probably six hundred
-
in the world. I remember my world shook. I remember
-
my knees cut weak, and so did his. We had
-
to humble ourself, and we had to pray and ask
-
God to please intervene.
-
On our behalf. And one night, in.
-
A service such as this one, we felt the power.
-
Of God to live and he was healed.
-
It God Casada, it is a miracle. They do not
-
declare the mean a medical miracle. This is a messiah
-
the miracle. I thank God for medical miracles about.
-
In siren say, I thank God for them. I love it. Physician.
-
Her name is Ashley Lewis Proms. That's my doctor, Postle.
-
Paulse doctor was doctor Luke of a loved position. But
-
most of all I thank call her for the Messley
-
for midical worker and a lot of pain to partition him.
-
When I've got to need and none of us should be,
-
none of us should.
-
Be throw that hand up in to say hey, I
-
need help, to request divine assistance. It's no badge of shame.
-
It is nothing to be ashamed about. And so our
-
Lord's mother, what's the first to say we need help?
-
You will remember the Bible said that judgment must first
-
begin in the house of God. God's people begin to purify,
-
purchs himself for revival, and Jesus's answer what's mane?
-
What have I to do unto thee? Mine hours not
-
yet come? Mamma. You know it's not time for me
-
to be offered. Mamma. You know the time of my
-
departure is not yet in hand.
-
Mamma, you know I'm not yet to be killed as
-
the sacrificial lamb and the substitutioneer, sacrificer.
-
And Mary must have saw him feeling it.
-
She must have saw a look in his eyes. And
-
that's the inspiration for tonight's message. I started her looking
-
at the question. I started looking at the responsor. I
-
started looking at Mary's words.
-
To the Lord and his responsor and brother Philippa.
-
Nowhere do we see that Jesus intends to perform a miracle.
-
I may't believe he was being as smart A look here, children,
-
I would not advise you to look at your mama
-
tomorrow and say, woman, what how am I to do
-
with he?
-
When she asking to go to school and to do
-
your schoolwork?
-
You've made en not being back handed, And a church
-
said able, that's how the old timers would speak. They
-
talk about them cheering being backhanded for Sassin. Mamma, Jesus
-
was not Sassin.
-
Mamma, But there must have been a look in his eyes.
-
He must have been feeling it because of the way
-
Mama can She wanted her requests field the same way
-
Sister Hannah.
-
Playing with that position recently. I know that you've ran
-
down over here.
-
You've got to transfer this prescription to another location because
-
I need you to feel it. That infection is going
-
on inside up. My throat's not getting any better. I've
-
lost my pounds in a couple of days. The situation
-
is our it's urgent. I can eat because there's something
-
eating me solely, but surely I'm a withered hooray. You
-
don't think about the way Mary came and requested that
-
the situation be feeled and not it be resolved.
-
And Sister Howe, whenever Jesus said, woman, what have I
-
to do with thee? My hour is not.
-
Yet coming, immediately she knew she had her request granted.
-
I'm telling you, I'm not putting words in Jesus's faca
-
that are not there. There is no written record of
-
him saying anything else.
-
You know why, because he's waiting for somebody else to do.
-
Second, and that's where we're hacking the season upper Bible not,
-
he's standing there and waiting like for somebody else to do.
-
Something.
-
Fell it to the m and he'll feel it and
-
he'll want to be more, the Bible said. Then she
-
looked at those servants. What was it about his expression?
-
What was it about the way the holy ghost moved
-
upon him? Did she see the same expression upon his
-
face that she saw when he was twelve years of
-
age of teaching the learned leaders of the religion.
-
Of two days? I believe she.
-
Felt something inside and she knew he is about to
-
take action.
-
And I want to put a collar there and put
-
two letters up before you, very bold. If the people
-
were knew what they are supposed to do.
-
She is desperate now for the servants to obey, the
-
Bible said, as she turned to the servants that were nearby,
-
and she said, whatever he says to you. In other words,
-
she said to them, lovely servants, obey the Master. Why
-
is it that the people that professed to be that
-
you of God with Jusa to.
-
Not obey the Lord? I mean, it's not optional, that
-
it's obligatory. And that's what God could in my heart.
-
Earlier this afternoon to tell somebody obedience it's not optional,
-
it is obligatory.
-
You see, obedience is to be.
-
In compliance with an order and to willfully submit to
-
one's authority. Sister whom now she's totally relying upon the servants. Initially,
-
she is relying on the Savior.
-
To take action.
-
That's the same thing some of you are doing tonight. Pastor,
-
I have a need, Pastor, I need to be healed. Pastor,
-
I need to receive the Holy ghost. Pastor, I need
-
a miracle. And you need to tell Jesus to those
-
same things. But do not be surprised when that one
-
that is in a position of authority commands you to
-
do something and so little.
-
But sometimes we say that's optional.
-
As him, it is available to be chosen, but not obligatory.
-
It's optional. I may or I may not do it.
-
It depends on how.
-
I'm a feeling. Now, listen, bear with me for a minute.
-
That day that Jesus He's got a miracle for that
-
lame man. He set these words, thou shin be forgiven
-
thee and immediately though he asked for action on the
-
part of what would be the recipient, he said, arise,
-
take cut thy man and brook If that man had
-
not a ton apple from what got down in.
-
The first place.
-
If we had not took that bad up had walked out,
-
he want to remain.
-
It's such a paramedic tradition.
-
And that's the problem book of the modern to the
-
custom of Horida's churches, of all the nominations today is
-
we really don't believe Man has got something to.
-
Do with it.
-
The dep crossings, the top Man and the earth of
-
Man must come.
-
Together in agreement for there to be a miracle.
-
Well, I'm expecting the prophet or the preacher or the
-
pastor of the teacher to proclaim it and faith it
-
in existence. The preacher may preach, and the speacher may
-
tell you something is coming as.
-
Good and wonderful, and you can start expecting a miracle.
-
But always God is looking for the Man element. In
-
every situation concerning God and his keeping them and his people,
-
you can rest assured the common denominator is God. The
-
God element will always be present.
-
But what you need is in this chemical composition. If
-
you want, you.
-
Need the Man element that I want you to name.
-
God does not who's that, persons, No, he does not.
-
He's not worried about your still color but he does
-
respect faith. We must trust and obey. What about what
-
Jesus he healed the blond man.
-
But prior to that, brother.
-
Jesse, he took clay of the earth in which he
-
had made man, basically saying, let's not ignore what you
-
had to dover this, basically taking that same dust of
-
the earth that that human being had been formally and saying,
-
you've got to understand. There's something you need to do
-
for you to be made whole. And the Bible said
-
Jesus spit, and he spit on that play. He spit
-
in the mass, and brother Jesse did He said to
-
the man, you go to the poor of Sloan and wash.
-
I mean, Jesus could have healed it.
-
Jesus didn't need spittle, and Jesus didn't need clay.
-
What he was telling that man is you all know
-
the story.
-
Of how man was fashioned of the dust of the ground.
-
That I am literally recreating your eyes. I am literally
-
right now reforming your eyes. But what you need is
-
to go to the water, and you need to wash.
-
Jesus was looking for obedience.
-
That is a key word in all hises, obedience.
-
Tonight, the root of this.
-
Message is an obedience. The key of miracles is obay.
-
No matter how trivial what.
-
You're supposed to do things, just obey. Why don't you
-
just do what God Saip could do?
-
Then maybe will and walk away. We're gonna stare at
-
so many people miss perceive it to be optional. It's
-
optional whether or not I go to church. It's optional
-
whether or not I read the Bible. It's optional whether
-
or not I pray. It's optional whether or not I
-
go to a house where they worship God's spirit and
-
the truth.
-
Listen to you him.
-
If you're God's churing, you're gonna follow the format of scripture.
-
For all the value of simple obedience and all the
-
importance of simple it.
-
Is not accident.
-
It is I lookatory, meaning you must do it because
-
it as a rule at a law.
-
If you're asking the.
-
Lord to change the law of nature to take blinded
-
eyes that have been there since before birth, while they
-
were still being formed in the womb, for some reason,
-
they were malformed. For some reason blindness settled in being
-
an accident inside of the womb, or some sort of
-
DNA issue. I don't know what calls that mathformity. But
-
when you're asking God to perform a miracle on your behalf.
-
You'd better be willing to do what God has told
-
you to do.
-
There's so many people today proclaiming miracles and prophesying miracles,
-
but they are overlooking the importance of obedience within that
-
human being. I am not saying that the healing virtue
-
is in fleshing Mahna. That. I am not saying her
-
that fleshing burn has the power to heal.
-
That.
-
I am saying that God insprets her when he breathing
-
in that man the birth of lifel, he.
-
Instrets up that and to breathe.
-
And that's what happened at the Palley of pet Trybones.
-
They were very tired. There was an exceeding nature and
-
mea that.
-
Was my president and power of their yes, the prophet
-
preach to yes. The prophet said, we know, yes, sir,
-
but you know what, they have to stand up. And
-
that's why we're not seeing the Bible in America because preachers,
-
we will not stand up here.
-
You know her and being that paper to proclaim the Bible.
-
There's always still in man element.
-
They're in the Great Awakening in the United States and
-
the Great awakenings of Europe. There's always been the man element.
-
The missing element today is not the God element.
-
The Lord owns the earth.
-
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.
-
But where are the people gathering together?
-
We see a nation unraveling and unfolding, busting apart at
-
the seams.
-
They stopped valuing old glory, the American flag.
-
They no longer are concerned about prayer in our public schools.
-
They're no longer concerned about.
-
Demotion in our public schools than it are some Christian
-
schools now about pastor demotion time, the chapel and prayer time.
-
And then they wonder where is God? Did not God say.
-
The nation that forgets and psakes him shall be turned
-
into Hell. I've known that this is not hell as
-
some people believe. There is a place beneath our Feta.
-
The Bible described it as a horrible place.
-
And I want you to know her. I couldn't imagine living.
-
Her in.
-
Earth or hell, but no earth.
-
But we're expecting revival, not without prayer and fasting. But
-
we're expecting deliverance, not without prayer and fasting.
-
But we're expecting that in time out purty. We've been
-
experiencing it here now for several years now.
-
I mean, I can't even count the number of years
-
that God has been added to the church, and people's
-
been getting delivered, and people's been getting sacified and holding
-
ghosts beyond it and called a preacher, and our hotels,
-
that's hotels have been hold fire. Let's just say, but
-
it took a man. Jesus said, you want to see
-
the devil go out.
-
I'm with it.
-
But that week, bless has got to pray, that weak
-
pless has got to past.
-
My spiritual issues.
-
They cannot.
-
Don't pray God, prayer and fasting, those aren't my words.
-
Don't crucify the mail man.
-
Don't crucify the messenger thinking about the message.
-
And I know there's people that are diabetics.
-
I can't go very long without eating anymore without extreme consequences.
-
This is why we still need to do whatever we
-
can in the.
-
Church said, Amen, the Church of yestery your believe in
-
prayer and fasting.
-
Tell me when's the last time you heard of somebody even.
-
Preach on prayer, or somebody preach on honest or somebody
-
preach on faithfulness in the House of God or to
-
the Lord I mean, if that man has to rise
-
up and roll up as many has been laying on,
-
you're gonna have to do something to.
-
I'm not hard and I'm not mean. I'm just trying
-
to let you know.
-
I'm in your corner and I'm trying to tell some
-
Jesus ain't gonna go out there.
-
And mow your yard. Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,
-
you know this.
-
Jesus ain't gonna take out your trash.
-
Huh.
-
Say if I still a little pastor, look at your
-
neighbor and say, hey, neighbor.
-
But you know, Jesus won't mow your grass.
-
He may send somebody to mow your grass, but there's
-
gonna be something that you've.
-
Got to do. And so Mary's plead with.
-
The lowly servants was, don't perceive him as another man.
-
You perceive him as I have as your master.
-
Lowly servants and sister, we're not counted the high honor
-
and a great privilege anytime nearing a service or nearing
-
the day, that God would speak to me of something
-
to do.
-
If it's hand to hoo ten dollars, if it's.
-
Helped out hurting homeless person, I'm telling you, whatever it
-
is he fits me to do, I am glad to
-
do my I remember when I was a little boy
-
in the Church of God. I was raised in the
-
Church of God. I probably spent as much time.
-
In the Church of God as a having an independent
-
hold in this church.
-
I guess I spent nearly eighteen years in the Church
-
of God. I spent a little longer than that in
-
the independent churches. But you know, even back then, we
-
had a missionary come to the church.
-
And that missionary was from India, and he was.
-
Tastising the big money men in the church because he
-
said it had been a trend amongst those that have
-
been in the States to not have the missions. And
-
he said, you people don't realize you've got to be
-
the legs and the arms and the hands and the
-
vita of the Gospel.
-
I'm telling you that is correct that.
-
Marble said that we are to go into oh out
-
of the world and preach the Gospel. We know have
-
seven or eight outreach ministries weekly. Because we're special and because.
-
We just love ruling those cala things.
-
We feel like we must be obedient to their great
-
commission and do what we can to fuckil that. Come here,
-
Brother Nathan. You'll bring that chair right here, Brother, put
-
it in front of the pulpit. And then I want
-
you to come get these delicate glasses that are here
-
in this pulpit.
-
They're glass containers.
-
I want you to handle them delicately because those are
-
containers that will be used in your sister's wedding come Saturday.
-
Ye'll put that one in the chair, put the next
-
one in the chair.
-
You may need to set them on a song book
-
in order to keep them well balanced. I don't know,
-
maybe they'll sit in that chair without having a good
-
solid support. You see, Mary did not back hand Jesus
-
for his response, and Brother Tyler, I'm telling somebody in
-
this building, it appeared to the old booker that wasn't
-
fully paying.
-
Attention that he was protesting her.
-
But she knew better than that, because she knew her
-
Jesus and she knew her son who was her Jesus.
-
She knew how running out of wine for their.
-
Guests was an embarrassment for the host and their family.
-
She knew this.
-
I can only imagine how embarrassed Sister Howell would be
-
if we ran out of.
-
Food Saturday night.
-
I saw her all afternoon today and all day long Saturday,
-
ever spare moment that she had estimating the number of
-
the guests that would be in attendancy to our daughter's wedding.
-
Grat Jacob, I would say, the greatest stressor in her
-
life right now is making sure that we have enough
-
nurishment and refreshment for our guest. Sister whom you can
-
relate because you're a consciencious server. The sister here you
-
can relate to because you and your mother for years
-
didn't conscientious.
-
The servers not just a service, but server. I don't
-
get what I'm saying.
-
And she knew how bad the backroom and belied would.
-
Fee your love. She knew that Jesus already knew something was.
-
Wrong, and she knew he knew that they did not
-
have enough money to supply represhments. And if we run
-
out of refreshments and nourishments for our daughter's wedding, her ceremony,
-
and won't be because.
-
Of Dad did not have her enough money.
-
It will be because we did not properly plan them
-
for our night and guessed her.
-
Or come on, now, I don't don't lie that this happened.
-
To read it did, but nevertheless some things or heard
-
about her who cannot get around some transdays.
-
So what are you gonna do? What you gonna do?
-
Just sit there through that revive, will not get blessed.
-
Just sit there through that service and not.
-
Do what God told you to do.
-
He said, Well, I want Jesus to feel it when
-
I worship him. I want Jesus to feel that blessing me.
-
Why it is Jesus blessing my brothers and sisters the
-
way he's blessing him.
-
Why do I go home service after service.
-
Asking myself why did they get my blessing?
-
Why did they get touch and I didn't get touch?
-
Why did they get with on the Holy Messer and
-
I did not even get to one drop? I'll tell
-
you it is because of obedience. In every instance of
-
every time somebody gets.
-
Blessed, they have get it as men. And that's some
-
men in them self to the will of God.
-
Up in the holy goos in this place, Brother Lathan,
-
you'll take that larger container and just pour a little
-
mint in that smaller container. That larger container represents the Lord,
-
his blessings, the holy ghosts, and sometimes even the church.
-
The church is just full of resources. God's mercy is everlasting.
-
It reaches to each and every generation. The only point
-
of termination is when the life ceases and when God's
-
grace sees because of termination of life. But it just
-
extends forever mercy, love and grace. Oh, the ever reaching,
-
the ever so long, infinite reach of our Lord. And
-
brother and sister will have known that there might have
-
been one or two of those servants that took a
-
messor and said, I'm just going to do a little
-
bit because it is enough.
-
I don't know if that's the case.
-
Or not, but I notice that the Lord's mother, Mary
-
was told you've got to do something, and Brother Jesse
-
told him what to Jesus told him what to do,
-
brother Jesse, and you know what she said, You've gotta
-
feel it, just like he just said, feel it.
-
If you don't see him feeling out.
-
To perform in this miracle for you, you're gonna do it
-
just exactly the way he said do it.
-
My daughter was in a predicament.
-
She needed medication for that infection that was literally eating.
-
Her alive with the inside out.
-
As part of the pharmacists down here to local Walmart,
-
and know it all, waited about twenty four hours to
-
even attempt to fill the prescription.
-
Just to how.
-
I went in there and asked him, did you transfer that?
-
They said, yes, we did. Just to How, being the
-
wise woman that she is, she said, I don't think so,
-
cause I just talked to him and they said they
-
have not received it. She said, huh, I said it.
-
Sister Howl was watching. Sister Hannah witnessed this. She got
-
on the computer and immediately sent it and she said,
-
it's there.
-
Trusted me.
-
I just looked Sis to Hawl whispered to Hannah and
-
said they just said it. They just now sent it.
-
And Sister Hannah got on the phone and called Kaine
-
and Drugs here in town and said did you get it?
-
And they said we just received it right now, just
-
mere seconds ago. And sister how out loud, not being
-
a smart of it.
-
They sent it just now, Hannah, and that's why they
-
got it.
-
You see, that woman was refusing to do her part
-
for whatever reason. It seems like since COVID especially, and
-
it seemed like the rebellion and the stubbornness.
-
Send people anymore.
-
I mean, it's hard for us employers to find good help.
-
It seems like people.
-
Want us do as little as they can.
-
Ah.
-
That is the anthem of every employer that I know.
-
When I go to a business meeting amongst high power business,
-
then every last one of them is saying, if I
-
can tie good health, if I can clone myself ten times,
-
I could be a successful as the worst pre covid.
-
Every king of McDonald's can't even pie anybody willing.
-
To work anymore? What's going off?
-
People learn how to not do something, and that's much happened,
-
And mother touches.
-
People have learned to sit there by.
-
The wayside and not do anything. Oh, I don't feel
-
that good at my soul. Like now Fromes the Lord,
-
our helper is here. And so Mary the worker not
-
second to Mark the Lastra's sister, Marry, the mother of
-
chooses the worker. She says, you better feel them up.
-
You better be just like he said, filling up to
-
the realm. Listen, if you'll fit it, he will fit it.
-
A whole.
-
Sweet Love of God, do you think that Jesus would
-
have performed this notable miracle if they hadn't brought glasses
-
that were partially feeling do you think that Jesus would
-
have turned the water into wine and deeppot the laws
-
of nature if they had just poured just enough to
-
get by. I prayed just enough to feel better here.
-
I didn't change who you came here in my life.
-
I didn't told me the six packer. I didn't told
-
me that Johnson. Listen, come and liver here from.
-
Alcoholism and trug ad Dix. But they're gonna have to
-
turn a.
-
Worrud after God and Prussia. That Jack tells up coming Jim,
-
be hold, the come on Christian will fire Jim and Jack. Yes,
-
the Christian will no longer see jam Bean and Jack
-
Daniels as their best friend.
-
But they do just enough.
-
And then they say, I want to feel God. I
-
want to blessing, Say God, I got that.
-
I not going down. All that showers a messing to
-
rain down.
-
And told me can't imagine as Jesus sustaining there when
-
there's ultramos.
-
For twelve men.
-
I'm sure he's saying mentally, it's out.
-
Of himself going it's the matter. Keep Paul feeling her. Yes,
-
she got touched up into the piefa. Yes, he got
-
touched up this past Sunday morning and this past Sunday night,
-
and I did this Sunday morning and even tonight.
-
But you better keep pouring in there. I said, you
-
better keep feeling it there until you feel it to
-
the mail.
-
The old Church of God preacher used to say it
-
out this, you better pray it through.
-
You better pay till you have complete total victory in
-
your lives.
-
And the church says and that, man, Oh sweet, no, God,
-
we walk the miracle without the message. You know why,
-
because we don't like the words of the message. We
-
say we love the messenger, but we don't like the message.
-
That's what Jesus was saying. How sayest thou that you
-
love me and you're unwilling and you choose to not
-
do what I said today. Oh it's going on right
-
and left each and every day. Will to stretch your
-
hand towards Heaven and just pray right now and notch there. Hey, man,
-
would you just ask God to help you come in
-
the focus that this is a message for you.
-
We can't have a lights of eaysical attitude right now.
-
There's some of you right now. You know you are
-
a quarter canister Christian.
-
You know you're a half pot CHRISTI somebody used to
-
say about me when I manage that engineer in office
-
before I started preaching down here.
-
They said one thing about Jeremy's department.
-
They always have a part of copy that is filled
-
to the brim. You know, my brother Jesse, we didn't
-
want clientle. We didn't want customer or any worker or
-
shop boss that came into that engineering department to ever
-
see anything less but a fool cup of copy.
-
We wanted in the know one we have exactly what
-
you're looking for. I wanted my transtman to know you
-
can stay awakened.
-
Because we got plenty of coffee here. I don't get
-
what I'm saying you can. I'm not giving a brim commissle,
-
but I'm telling you you gotta pied it up to
-
the rim if you want God have not the rest
-
you until you cannot contain it. By best say that
-
that couple turn run over. I'll tell you n of
-
Rut's uncle. We do pour uncle, it's faster.
-
Let's he pays a head.
-
Sweep by my God, fill it up, fill it up
-
to the brim, Fill the water pots with water. That's
-
the words that Jesus fill the water pots with water.
-
And the Bible said, and they Jesus mandated, feel brother,
-
what I could hear him saying to the servant that
-
ain't fool yet.
-
And the Bible said, and they who are they?
-
The servants, the lowly servants are following on us. Thank you, Mother, Nathaniel, Yes, sir,
-
I heard yall. I'm gonna do better. Read my Bible
-
for about two days. I'm gonna do better praising the
-
Lord for my two services. Then I'm gonna good bye
-
to the things that I destroyed. The I'm gonna spend
-
more time rebuilding her to old me than the new maid.
-
Wow, why not spend the efforts building the new you
-
destroying me? Hold you that building the new? Sister? Hear
-
so many people spend so much time and efforts.
-
They insolved themselves, and they insult themselves trying.
-
To build the old.
-
Be like the apostle Paul trying to become the superstar,
-
say Hindred again. Be like the apostle Paul trying to
-
raise his testimony and the encounter that he had with
-
Jesus on the road to Damascus.
-
Are you serious?
-
God has spoken to you and told you to praise
-
and grave me, the Bible said, clap your hands ho
-
you people shouting the god.
-
Lost doesn't matter how he can he wrote.
-
He can't.
-
A man was calling. All was up and what he
-
wasn't pely good?
-
Who gave?
-
The man was told to go to the player and Russia?
-
He was not the good? How clear was somebody helped killer?
-
I repealers ain't got nothing to do with it? Your hope, edience,
-
how's everything away?
-
Froll up? How to re bible?
-
Your mother put pastel trenches today because we drain OURPEDI
-
it's out the window. Brother Jacob and I was eating
-
lunch together today at the Cactus hunts.
-
I don't know what promote tell to say this? Will
-
you having, Brother Jacob, let me tell you high to
-
the wall any man, I won't everybody know it was
-
him and said this not me.
-
He said, Pastor, I've been thinking about a couple of
-
the preachers that turned sideways a couple of years ago.
-
Said maybe that woman that ran home to study and
-
prepare about.
-
Preaching out of us. Get stuff coming out of the window,
-
he said. Jesus said, said I am the door. He said, man,
-
that guy got goofy and he said to other goofy
-
preachers followed the goofy preacher. They followed the leader, sister walker.
-
What he was saying is goopy blind men following the
-
goopy leader. One god preacher, i'mout standing out the wind.
-
Didn't get what you can, he said, my Jesus saying,
-
he is the door. I'm not living outside the window.
-
My Jesus a saying.
-
Anybody that tries to come out any other lady than
-
the door there a thief for the writer.
-
I thought about that all afternoon. Goopy preachers, he said,
-
follow the goopy leader.
-
He asked me, he said, as a soon to be
-
son in law coming through the door. I said, as
-
far as I know he is. He said, he's coming
-
in the window? Is he?
-
I said, not that I know of.
-
I sure hope not, because.
-
I don't take too kindly to somebody coming in the window.
-
In fact, he doesn't tell no matter who it is.
-
If I'm in the bed in the middle of the night,
-
could be one of my own boys coming in the window,
-
I would automatically assume that they are a thief, and
-
a roma would volunteer.
-
Your mother's the preacher, he is there so many people
-
trying to figure out another way to have church, trying
-
to figure out another way how to do it, trying
-
to figure out another way to live. Hey, there's only
-
one way. Why don't we just do what the loss
-
that do and.
-
Stop fighting it? Brother Nathaniel, you just about got that
-
thing up to the brim.
-
That's close.
-
Just a little bit more, and an acoustic guitar player's
-
seat's gonna be wet. How don't suspect he'll feel life
-
picking the strings during the altar service if you go
-
tooth Park. But what I do need is some brother
-
to run back there to the bathroom and get a
-
bunch of paper towels, because I know the nature.
-
How brother Nathaniel, howell, our.
-
Youth pastor, he's not going to just let it to
-
a ride an eight tub of an inch from the top.
-
And there's some of you. You're so closer to your miracle.
-
He's so closed to you, he love, he's so close
-
to the outpolm who's so close to.
-
The entail of the holy ghost to not just stops
-
on the ninth of an inch? Is two sat during
-
that revival, God spoke to me.
-
He said, have at least one, sometimes two. However, it
-
works out of your son's pray for you during the revival.
-
I could have said, I'm the seat of your pastor
-
here I could have said, thank your brother Gabriel.
-
I appreciate that. In fact, brother Gabel, just take these
-
in lining around.
-
What is the vessel that's going to receive because I
-
have a feeling that cup is going to run over.
-
You may even have to pick up that glass container.
-
Those of you that can look in and it's transparent,
-
you can see that it's it's just a little bit
-
shy of running over.
-
Do you know I may not be able to see
-
him your heart. God he sees the exterior and the interior.
-
That is the most frightful verse of the Bible for me.
-
When worldly Christians say, don't touch me.
-
God knows my heart.
-
I've always been a little bit concerned about that scripture.
-
And I told him, I said, you're exactly right. God
-
knows that heart. The Bible said, the heart is deceitl
-
above everything.
-
All things who can't know it. And so when they
-
say I know my heart and God knows my heart,
-
I know.
-
This the liar, I mean the word of God. This
-
says not my words.
-
I'm just one of them guys crazy enough to believe
-
the Bible. The Bible's right, somebody's wrong. Brother G. E.
-
Patterson used to see how many of you know the
-
Bible is still right?
-
That is not just as somebody. A host of churches
-
are wrong. I'm not saying we're perfect, nor I'm not
-
saying we're the only churches right. But I am saying
-
we as individuals, we've got a role to play in America.
-
And know some of you asking God for a miracle,
-
but you've got to do it. Oh if I can
-
just have a good testor that's what you were saying,
-
come here. Now you're traveling two and a half hours
-
to church. You take in one service and go home.
-
There's something you got to do. If you're gonna feel
-
what you feel like you're getting here, We're gonna have
-
to feel the order God except get there hitting that
-
truckle tell some Gasolionia.
-
They get aft there like there are other churches between
-
here and there, maybe, but they don't.
-
Work for him.
-
We know one we've got to do. We know one.
-
We need this bride and bridegroom and the parents.
-
They are being wornified and embarrassed, me humiliated.
-
I know what embarrasses you. Service at the service seeking
-
Holy go.
-
Some revival closes and you go home without what you
-
said until beget that revival I'm gonna get.
-
But what your forgetting this?
-
I've got something I've got to do, Brother Roy Dafter
-
He used to crash his car quite regularly since the sending, Neely,
-
that was your brother in law.
-
As soon as I say the name Roy, I.
-
Don't even have to put the prefect's work brother on
-
the subjects. After all gotta do is say Roy, and
-
we all go to laughing and go to smiling. That
-
little dafter man stood about this talk, probably about five
-
foot three.
-
And a half. He wore that big old hat that
-
looked like a fifty five gallon bucket on his head.
-
Drawing on his head, he said he looked good in it.
-
He couldn't even hardly keep his feet hit gone between
-
the lines. He was always having little fender benders. And
-
now all I would combarely say over the dash. But
-
that was just a great, great, great, great guy. But
-
he also had a few issues he had to deal with.
-
And fortunately, near the end of his death, he had
-
been attending here tomorrow and he'd got some things picked
-
up with God, fixed up with God. But brother Tyler,
-
one of the things he'd do, he'd stand up and testify,
-
and he hold this hen cut like this stick, that
-
left hand out there, Brother Tyler, do you remember what
-
he do showing you're doing it already?
-
And then he'd take the other two fingers on the
-
right hand and.
-
He'd tat his hand and he said, apparently there's a
-
few more things I've got to do after that accident,
-
after I must chopping his foot off with an axe.
-
That man could swing an axe. He could make a
-
means walk cabbage.
-
You know.
-
But he always said, apparently there was something I got
-
to do.
-
And that's why my stupid self has not accidentally killed myself,
-
because there's a few more.
-
Things I got to do.
-
And I used to think, you're right, buddy, there are
-
some things that we got to do. Terses do not
-
believe that they believe what Jesus said.
-
He is finish that there was nothing for humanity to there.
-
They grandly ain, inviting.
-
Off on that they should not have took that hook
-
light and secret they'll shut up for us to do.
-
Jesus himself told the woman take it in the very
-
act of adultery.
-
He said, you go and sin no more. It was
-
going to take action on her part not to repeat
-
that same sin I made. It had been habitual sin.
-
Jesus is saying, at this point, break the habitual sin.
-
Is that offensive? But there's some people beta start.
-
That man stood out there and listen to you pool
-
for him yesterday, and he preached to him. And I
-
saw you pointing to the word and pointing to the stars,
-
and you played with him, and you said, I know
-
you're hearing voices, and I know you're telling me you
-
need help.
-
But what he didn't want to do was pray. He said,
-
not today, not.
-
Today, Later in the month, when is a convenience time,
-
when it's a convenient season.
-
I will pray.
-
A Grippa knew there was something he needed to do.
-
And how many people have woke up in hell saying
-
I knew what I should have done. Oh, I just
-
felt a hole the ghost in a mighty way. How
-
many people missed heaven and slid into hell because they
-
refused to do what God told him would do. Give
-
me an example. I'm glad you asked. One of our
-
contexts was the mighty prophet Samuel put the bony finger
-
in the face of the great King Saul and saying,
-
did you not know to obey is better than to sacrifice?
-
You see, this woman knew they're running out of wine.
-
Then it came to the place they have ran out,
-
and Mary knew only Jesus can help sister, who she
-
knew is going to take total, complete, absolute, full obedience.
-
Sister, howell, when I think about Samuel.
-
Telling Saul, who knew of the Lord so well, he
-
knew what it was to propheside with the prophets and
-
to fall under the anointing, And to think that Samuel
-
with tears running down his face because he definitely had
-
been crying and praying for Zoul.
-
He said, Samuel, the Lord said, til Saul outn't delight.
-
In burn offerings and sacrifice his only I'd rather see
-
you obey my voice. I'd rather hear you obey my voice,
-
because behold, it is better to obey than a sacrifice.
-
In a hearken in the fat of Rams. When Samuel said, behold,
-
I could hear him cry.
-
And look, Saul, you're in so much trouble, Saul, God
-
sent me to you to tell you the kingdom has
-
been taken and given to the.
-
Tragedy of the story of Saul's disobedience is. God had
-
given Soul explicit instructions on how.
-
To handle a group of wicked people called the.
-
Malakites, and saw the son of Kiss of the tribe
-
of Benjamin should have knew that whenever the children of.
-
Is were left each of their first enemy was the Malakites.
-
Their very first enemy, the nation that trying to destroy
-
them as they made their way from Sin to the Promise.
-
Was that a malakits Saul. Why to to tiptoe or
-
well Sin?
-
God knew this was the very first man of people
-
to attack God's people after they left Egypt. You know
-
alcohol and you know drugs has destroyed people. Why would
-
you even think about smoking a joint? You know that
-
alcohol has busted up marriages, and you know that men
-
have gave their babies dpper and milk money for alcohol.
-
Why would you considered? So obeyed Samuel and God up
-
until a certain point. But then he stopped short. He
-
stopped short.
-
You do what to do, but you didn't do it.
-
So so acted as though he was worshiping the Lord
-
with what he didn't destroy You know them, sheep I'm saving.
-
There's so I could offer them in a sacrifice to
-
the Lord. You know that king that I'm saving. They
-
may gag.
-
There's so I can parade him around as a trophy
-
and say, look at what the Lord has done.
-
Listen.
-
When it comes to obie, God doesn't play games. And
-
I'm telling you this afternoon. I shook and I shuddered,
-
and I trembled when God spoke that into my heart.
-
To tell one or two the game is over, game over.
-
Do you know what you need to do?
-
You went through revival, left for your life, praid just
-
a little bit. God plays no games when it comes
-
to obedience, and Mary knew this. You better not feel
-
it to they thimn inch from the top of you.
-
Better feel it to the brim, feel the water pots
-
from water. When she told those service to do as
-
he had spoken, they did as she had spoken. In
-
our text with Fire, where Jesus was called upon to
-
do the impossible, do you realize who you have summons
-
for divide assistance?
-
Do you realize who you have summons to your side?
-
Do you realize that you have requested a sintense of
-
the Lord?
-
And then when he asked you to do something, no
-
matter how trivial you see you, it's gonna try for
-
matter you need.
-
To do what.
-
My brother all anymore was here tonight. He probably say,
-
past or, how excuse me? But may I see why
-
don't you do what God asks you? Is how many
-
of you know God demands or requires that we do
-
exactly as He said to do?
-
And saw I'm seventeen and six? Is that I have
-
called upon thee for thou will hear me? God?
-
Do you realize who you're calling upon? Mary called upon
-
Jesus Luke six or forty six? Jesus said, a why
-
call you me? Lord?
-
And do not the things which I say?
-
You see, Jesus expects his hearers and the children to
-
face up through responsibility.
-
He doesn't want men.
-
And women to be simple, and he does that want
-
men and women to be informed and instructed on me.
-
Y'all need to get a hold of that. It's not
-
good enough that you're being instructed and informed. He explacts
-
the application. He wants you to know what are you
-
going to do about this? He wants you to decide
-
I'm going to do it. That's what David said. I
-
won't wallow in indecision.
-
I'm gonna wait until the valley of Elaw and I'm
-
taking the head of Goliath off tonight. Somebody needs to say,
-
you know what, enough is enough. It's time that I
-
obey God. It's time that I receive an except what
-
God has given me. When you said, into my heart,
-
seek my face, Lord, my heart set it to you
-
thy face, I will see God.
-
I tell you what Jesus wants you to do.
-
He wants you to feel that water pop to the brim,
-
that one that is in Brother Nathaniel's hand, that watertop
-
will be filled to the brim right now. You know what,
-
Sister Howell, he expects application apply this message to your
-
life right now.
-
Don't be a hero.
-
Only, but heed. I'm gonna be faithful in church attendance.
-
I'm gonna be faithful in daily Bible reading. I'm gonna
-
be faithful in prayer. I'm gonna be fervent in spirits
-
serving the Lord. Even right now, you can see that
-
that is filled to the brial. I believe any scientist,
-
in any doctor, any professional of any field, would admit
-
that is filled to capacity. Jesus expects us to do
-
our best and when I've done my very best, I
-
can depend on him to do the rest. Brother Jesse,
-
when you come to the piano tonight, he expects application.
-
Don't be a hero, only be a doer. Implement what
-
he is said to do in your life.
-
Implement it, apply it well. I've heard the preacher exhort,
-
I've seen him admotish. I've heard exactly what God has
-
told him to tell me to do. I know exactly
-
what Jesus would have me to do. But I don't
-
feel like implementing it in my life.
-
Why not? Is it not powerable? Is it not desirable?
-
Is it not coming?
-
Because for right now it seems like water, but it
-
will be wine in the end. Right now it seems
-
like work and.
-
Effort, labor, but it will be wine.
-
In the end. It will bring refreshment, It will bring nourishment.
-
Brother Roquat, the Lord took h two oze and turned
-
it into something greater with more components. He added certain
-
ingredients and elements into it that were nonexistent. The thing
-
you're asking God to do is do them intcle in
-
my life. You're asking the Lord to do.
-
A miracle in your life. But you have to be
-
willing to feel it to capacity.
-
Forget about is the glass half full or half empty?
-
Forget about optimism and pessimism. Think about obedience. You know
-
why the salmon's cut was running off. You know why
-
a table was prepared for him in the presence of
-
his enemies.
-
Because of a simple obedience.
-
Sometimes we say, well, my faithful church attendance, what's that
-
going to do for me? You'll be surprised. There's people
-
in this building that said in the last six months
-
their lives have radically changed. There's people in this building
-
and have started reading five chapters a day over the
-
last two weeks, and they told me that their life
-
has forever more changed already. You know why, because faith
-
cometh by hearing the word of God. They're getting a
-
spiritual exercise. I believe it was brother Thomas Sterrett, my
-
brother E. J. Wallace that told me Friday night, both
-
of them not knowing the other one, that told me
-
the same thing.
-
They said.
-
All day today we've listened and looked at read the
-
Book of Jeremiah. Brother Starreh says, you know what he said,
-
so much as said by modern preachers about Sodom and gamar.
-
But sometimes you and.
-
Jeremiah and others that the preachers need to understand.
-
A lot of times I mentioned this in my servant.
-
The message of Jeremiah was to Jerusalem and Judah. It
-
was to the people of God. But all we're doing
-
is pointing at Sodom and Gamar.
-
But the prophet's ministry, largely, for the most part, was
-
to the people of God.
-
You've got to do something for us to have reviibal in.
-
The land, every great spiritual wakening, every revival again with
-
a small band of people, every movement.
-
If we're going to save our country, if I had
-
to begin with groups of seventy and eighty here and.
-
There, or maybe groups of two or three here and there,
-
and they will say, you know what, they're doing what
-
they can to destroy our faith. And if I, Jesus said,
-
when I come again, will I find faith on the earth.
-
But I'm gonna see to it that I'm here here
-
in the Word of God. I'm gonna see to it
-
that I'm reading my Bible and pray. Let's stand tonight.
-
Feel the water pots with water.
-
Their response was crucial situation critical, yes, But so was
-
their response.
-
They Brother Nathaniel, they feel the pots to the ground
-
total obedience.
-
They filled the pots, and then.
-
I would say it because of their obedience, He's felt
-
like doing something for them.
-
Philip f I l l it and he will feel.
-
Fee l it only when they obeyed him fully. Brother Jeremiah,
-
did he do the conversion? I believe when that last
-
drops splash in that water pot that contained two or
-
three perkins of peace, suddenly to the observer the shade
-
in the tent of that water change colors. The miracle
-
was taking place. There is no doubt a miracle in
-
the making. But I want to ask you what about
-
the man. There is a miracle in the making, but
-
God is looking for a man and somebody you need
-
to learn, and that he didn't teach you this. And
-
I'm trying to teach you that they spend a whole
-
lot more time with you than I do. But sometimes
-
you just have to do as you're told.
-
For about two.
-
Years now, the Holy Coat has been saying to his people,
-
seek me, fall on your knees and fall on the
-
rock and be broken a broken heart, a contract spirit.
-
I will not despise. Some things will leave you.
-
If you're just fast and pray, you'll find yourself great
-
to health to benefit it.
-
If you'll just attend church and read your Bible, you will.
-
Find yourself in despair, arness, simple obedience, simple obedience, and
-
the spirit of name and is present in the churches today.
-
And here's what they say. I expected something greater. I
-
expected something greater. I thought you were going to tell
-
me to dip in the rivers of a bottom far far.
-
No, just go down there to buddy Jordan, and do
-
what God told you to do, and immediately damon.
-
As soon as you do it, you will no longer
-
be a leper. You will be made whole. And I'm
-
telling you as your pastor, I love you.
-
As a preacher. I'm pulling for you the first lady's sister,
-
how is a prayer? And pull them for you. You
-
could tell to night if we've got a burden for you,
-
we're pouring into you. But until you insert your only
-
money into it and say, God, you know what, I'm.
-
Praying until it blesses me.
-
Not He's fixing the open altars and I'm going to
-
just flop on an altar and pretend to pray.
-
But I'm really want to pray.
-
Let's bow our hints tonight. I feel like a proper
-
response is very for about three people. If you were
-
one of them, three.
-
Would you start making your way to this altar tonight?
-
Brother sister, I realize there's about six or seven already moving.
-
I realize my obedience is so important. I realize there's
-
something I must do. There's something I must do. There's
-
twelve or thirteen moving in the altar.
-
Now, may all of us just find a place to pray,
-
which you ask God, what would you have.
-
Me to do?
-
And when he tells you what to do, be sure
-
to do it. It's an honor. Hey, it's a prayer.
-
It's to say yes, for I will do it. Yes more,
-
We'll give you all.
-
I will give you all.
-
Before he's watch you ask.
-
That's what he's asking for all able take yourself to
-
churn sacrifice, youstens.
-
Play even think about it. Maybe you can call a
-
pack this sing you've gotta be Just sit among this.
-
Let him call to the others of the church, let
-
him annoying him with a let him play the player
-
face over them, see the ole. Just do what he
-
said to do, all what you have me to Bele's
-
to come.
-
Let's just do it remain.
-
God will need all you ball. Let you ask only know.
-
And if my sacrivise the best and even ivery.
-
Best, and be remainy cony and be willing.
-
To be times I've said no, Wood, give you my own.
-
Could I be here the secret part I thought the
-
know on so well? If you ask me again, though
-
everything I love the best, give me the cary that.
-
The strength, and make me willing injuice it, Oh will
-
give you all. I will give you all.
-
If all is watching, you ask of beating, I will
-
not with all, And in my sacrifice list.
-
That give me eve my very best.
-
Lift me remain for Galvary, and be willing induce. Let's
-
hope to Abraham and say take your only son, and
-
of pass a sacrifice to one you love.
-
Lord?
-
Is there not some other sacrifice that I my breath?
-
But if it's what you ask of me, I will
-
give you averything. I will mean you all.
-
I will give any more it wall as well you
-
you ask me, I will not with all, and in
-
my scrifices less than.
-
He became my very bat. Let me remain for God.
-
Let me waiting to see.
-
M soupy.
-
Times I've seen.
-
Her that I would give you my all, but I
-
with there the secret, for I thought to know one.
-
So but if you ask me, give the everything I
-
love the best, give me the curves.
-
And the strength, make me willing. Juice are really all?
-
I won't eve all you've alled, what you ask of me,
-
I will not be all.
-
If myself provis is less than giving.
-
You my vyest. Let me remain.
-
For Cavary and agent say.
