  1. Lord, it's good to be in church here this evening.

  2. And I was old, thank you for my pastor and

  3. this opportunity. The example me is, let's follow in some

  4. footsteps here tonight.

  5. Be all right, let's fall the footsteps. Appreciate the Lord

  6. so very much.

  7. I appreciate the spirit of the Lord that we had

  8. fell in this service to Mighty good God. I give

  9. you praise, I give you honor, or get help to

  10. you here for just a little while here to see it.

  11. And Friday Friday, I ate over at.

  12. My in laws there, and I got home and I

  13. sat down on my couch and I had done my.

  14. Reading, my my my reading plan for that day. And

  15. I grabbed my Bible and I just started flipping through reading.

  16. Some and I stumbled over to mark chapter number three,

  17. you can you can turn over.

  18. There, and the Lord began to deal with me, and

  19. I grabbed at a little post it note.

  20. I began to write it down. I didn't know if

  21. i'd preach it at nurse at the nursing.

  22. Home next week or when it when when it would be,

  23. So I wrote me a little, a little note to

  24. to just make my mind remember.

  25. And so I went to sleep that night, slept real

  26. good and woke up Saturday morning at a decent time.

  27. I feel like the Lord woke me up at.

  28. A decent time Saturday morning with more scripture that goes

  29. along with what he had given me Friday night. And

  30. then that day I heard from Pastor and told me

  31. to be on standby beyond backup.

  32. Didn't you enjoyed that? Enjoy that preaching? This morning always

  33. always a timely time to massive good. Appreciate my Pastor.

  34. So we're gonna try to be a help to you.

  35. Hear the seed that for just a little while, we'll

  36. see we get here and see if the Lord will

  37. help us. Mark chapter number three, reading the first six verses.

  38. Please stand for the reading of the word. And he

  39. entered again into the synagogue. There was a man there

  40. which had a withered him, And they watched him whether

  41. he would heal.

  42. Him on Sabbath day, that they might accuse him. And

  43. he saith unto the man which had the withered hand.

  44. Stand forth, and he saith under them, is it lawful

  45. to do good on the Sabbath days?

  46. Or to do evil? To save life or to kill?

  47. But they held their peace, And when he had.

  48. Looked round about upon them with anger, being grieved for

  49. the hardness of their heart. Who saith unto the man

  50. stretched forth by him? And he stretched it out in

  51. his hand, and his hand was restored whole as the other.

  52. And the Pharisees went forth and straightway took counsel with

  53. the Herodians against him.

  54. How they might destroy him.

  55. Would you lift your hand here tonight, ask God to

  56. help us and annoy us.

  57. God, we thank you so much for your goodness and

  58. your mercy. We thank you for your grace and kindness.

  59. God.

  60. He asked, you have taken poe from the fire more

  61. than put it in our heart.

  62. God, I believe that you give me a burning here

  63. from this service tonight.

  64. God, we asked that you would heal ward every sick body. God,

  65. that you would give us strength, Lord, to deliver the word. God,

  66. open our understanding, Lord, open our heart and our mind, Lord,

  67. to deliver what you would have us to deliver, nothing more,

  68. nothing less than what you desire. We will be sure

  69. to give you the honor. We'll be sure to give

  70. you the praise. And we pray this in Jesus' name.

  71. Amen and Amen. All right, you could be seated here you.

  72. Feel like it.

  73. Jesus was no stranger to go into what we call

  74. in modern day church, right, He was no stranger to

  75. going to the temple.

  76. He was no stranger to go into the synagogue.

  77. For you gonna read it yer Jesus's early childhood, at

  78. twelve years old, he was in the temple, and if

  79. you read that, it says and every year at the Passover,

  80. his parents would take him to the temple to go

  81. to church. And I'm sure at other times they would

  82. be in a synagogue somewhere for them.

  83. For Jesus was raised up in the synagogues. And you

  84. and many times.

  85. Throughout the scripture, even once the rioters have started pinning

  86. the life and the life of Jesus, we can find

  87. in scripture where Jesus healed, where he talked, where he preached,

  88. and where he even rebuked in the synagogue. He was

  89. no stranger to the synagogue. He believed in going to church.

  90. He believed that every believer should go to church. Jesus

  91. was also no stranger to what we know today as

  92. open outreach, open air outreach, or or what we call

  93. sometime going into the highways and the hedges. For many

  94. times in God's divine library. We can find Jesus out

  95. by the seaside. We can find Jesus on a hillside teaching,

  96. doing miracles, or even even we can find the time

  97. where he ministered to a broken man in a graveyard.

  98. So Jesus so so. Jesus was sure to teach us

  99. by example that we should always have both ministries in

  100. our lives.

  101. We should not focus on one and not the other.

  102. We should not, we should not do We should not

  103. we should not substitute one for the other.

  104. Jesus was sure to teach us.

  105. To go to the church and to go outside the walls,

  106. and to to to minister to those that needed help,

  107. to minister to those that needed needed healing. Jesus preached doctrine,

  108. he preached heaven, he preached hell, and he preached.

  109. Healing for mind. So in body, his ministry was not locksided.

  110. As Pastor reminds us often, Jesus is the example that

  111. we should follow closely spiritually and physically. And when I

  112. mean spiritually and physically, I mean physically. He showed us

  113. to go to church physically, he showed us how to

  114. go into the highways of the Hendrians and to compel

  115. him to come in.

  116. And to and to reach the laws.

  117. Spiritually, he taught us how to pray spiritually. He taught

  118. us how to mind the will of the Father spiritually.

  119. He taught us how we should conduct ourselves.

  120. In our day to day life.

  121. So Jesus is our example both spiritually and he is

  122. our example physically. Artech says that he entered again into

  123. the synagogue. This is only the third chapter of Mark's writing.

  124. This is the third chapter of mark sixteen chapter account

  125. of the life of Jesus, and he writes he entered

  126. again into the synagogue. Jesus was no stranger to the synagogue.

  127. Mark said again, he entered into the synagogue. Earlier in

  128. Mark's writing, you can find directly after calling the first

  129. four disciples.

  130. Two sets of brothers. You have Simon and his brother Andrew.

  131. You had Change and his brother John.

  132. These were the first four disciples that Jesus called. And

  133. and right after calling the disciples the four disciples, Mark

  134. wrote down that they went to Comparnium and straightway on

  135. the sanity. He entered into the synagogue, and the Bible

  136. says that he began to teach. Jesus had no problem

  137. observing the sanity Jesus had no problem with keeping the

  138. Sabbath holy. That was not that was not a problem

  139. that he had. The Bible says that that day in

  140. the synagogue that there was a man with an unclean spirit,

  141. and they and they began to and the man with

  142. the unclean spirit, and to cause a scene. You ever

  143. seen someone calls a scene in the house of God.

  144. I don't believe that's.

  145. The will of God. Jesus didn't think it was.

  146. Because she rebuke the man, the unclean spirit came out

  147. of him. And the Bible says that all those that

  148. were around that day, they were amazed. But sadly enough,

  149. such is not the case of our texts here tonight.

  150. The first time we read.

  151. In Mark's Bible in Mars chapter it Marks writing, the

  152. people were amazed when Jesus enters the saying that synagogue

  153. and it does a miracle. The second time, whenever we

  154. read about it in the third chapter, something wasn't right

  155. in the church house that day. Something wasn't right that

  156. Sabbath morning when Jesus began to.

  157. Teach, and we began, and when he began to.

  158. Preach, Jesus had come to worship as his custom was.

  159. Jesus had come to preach as his custom was. Jesus

  160. had come to touch that, had come to touch all

  161. those that were in attendance, as his custom was. But

  162. something was off, something was wrong amongst the people this day.

  163. Mark tells us that Jesus looked around about them, overround.

  164. About on them.

  165. With anger and being grieved for the hardness of their heart.

  166. Of some scholars believe when you read that there in

  167. the third verse, before Jesus.

  168. Heals the man, he says to the man, stand for them.

  169. So he's preaching, and he calls this man out of

  170. the crowd, and the Pharisees are already waiting for an

  171. opportunity to accuse him. So he calls this man out

  172. of the crowd to say, look at this man's state,

  173. look at this. And he gave them a chance to

  174. change their mind. He said, stand for him. Let everyone

  175. see the state that you're in. Let everyone see where

  176. you're really at and what kind of help you really need.

  177. But this did not change their mind, for they were

  178. too dead. Said on having a problem with the miracle work.

  179. There were some people that came to church that morning

  180. looking for trouble. You remember that past that message pastor preach,

  181. they weren't like you.

  182. All here this morning or tonight.

  183. Rather, today, I believe that what we have here in

  184. this house is a house full of motified believers that

  185. are willing to let Jesus do a miracle in our

  186. mits tonight. They are willing to let them Lord of

  187. the Sabbath, come down on it, on what we observe

  188. as the first day of the week, and do a

  189. miracle in his house. I think we'd be okay.

  190. And Jesus coming into our midst and touching hearts.

  191. Touching life, and having his divine will and having his

  192. perfect player in our lives here in tonight.

  193. I don't really think that we have.

  194. Anyone that would stand back and be disapproved, pointed and

  195. be disapproving of healings and blessings from a Messiah taking

  196. place in his house. His house was to be a

  197. house of prayer, but they had made it a den

  198. of thieves.

  199. They had made it a place to where they could

  200. try to to try to to.

  201. Fault find that Jesus. Jesus had come to do ministry,

  202. but they had come to find fault. Right. These people

  203. had the Sabbath day so holy that the Lord of

  204. the Sabbath, couldn't heal with spoken word. There was no

  205. work to be done. There was no surgery to take

  206. place on the Sabbath day. There was no operation that

  207. Jesus would be doing to this man. For Jesus would

  208. simply be speaking the word, just as he did, just

  209. as he did in the first chapter. Whenever he cleansed

  210. a man from the unleaned spirit. It was spoken word.

  211. All Jesus had to do was speak the word. Right,

  212. Jesus had spoke the word, and the ground that they

  213. stood upon was formed the same spoken word. Would heal

  214. this man of his diseases, of his disability, But for

  215. the hardness of their heart. They would rather this man

  216. miss the chance of a lifetime for the hardness of

  217. their heart.

  218. They would rather this man live and.

  219. The rest of his life withered for the hardness of

  220. their heart. They would rather this man live a disabled

  221. lives for the hardness of their heart.

  222. They would rather see that man walk out once again

  223. with his hand.

  224. Unable to work, unable to make an honest living, because

  225. of the.

  226. Hardness of their heart. They would read of this man

  227. continue to suffer in his mind.

  228. You tell me someone with a disability like that, don't

  229. suffer in their minds.

  230. Well, they can't do what others do, but they can't

  231. watch the way other people fatching. They're truble in their mind.

  232. And they were content to let this man live his

  233. life the rest of the time because of the hardness

  234. of their heart, whether they let Jesus speak.

  235. The word and this man be healed.

  236. Hatred and envy jealousy had blinded them to the needs

  237. of others.

  238. Hatred and jealousy and angry had blinded them to the

  239. fact that this man was battling my burden. This morning

  240. is tonight?

  241. Is this?

  242. No matter the thing that Jesus do to come, No

  243. matter Jesus what.

  244. Jesus knew the false accusations that they would that they

  245. would spare. Undoubtedly, he knew that they that they would

  246. bring accusation, that they would try to trip him up.

  247. He knew they were there to cause controversy.

  248. He knew they were there to try to find fault.

  249. But regardless of the fact, regardless of the fact of

  250. what the Pharisees would do it, regardless of that, Jesus said,

  251. stretch forth the hand. Jesus knew the reprecassion Jesus knew

  252. he was had far across. But regardless of the facts,

  253. he told the man stretched forth.

  254. His hand for as the passion is amazing. Not getting

  255. talk to himself, he healed the man.

  256. Not get a talk to what I would think? He

  257. went ahead and touched this man.

  258. The Bible says it was made whole as the other.

  259. I don't think it looked like new skin. I don't

  260. think you could ever tell it was nothing wrong with it.

  261. You didn't look like baby skin. It had the same

  262. hand that his other. His head, it looked just like

  263. his other. When it was made whole, asked the other one.

  264. There was no sign when Jesus got done with there

  265. was no sign of just a better Where Jesus turned

  266. their situation around it, it was my whole has the

  267. other just like the other one was.

  268. But let me tell you something.

  269. The very moment the healing took place, Verse six picks up,

  270. Jesus just did a miracle. In verse number five one

  271. verse lead, the devil steps in. The devil thinks he

  272. found what he was looking for. Jesus knew what he

  273. was looking for. Jesus knew what they were after because.

  274. He was already angry.

  275. He had already looked at the heartness of their heart,

  276. and it was a hemut inside that the hardness of

  277. their heart would allow of their brother to be in

  278. such a shape. The Bible says in verse six, the

  279. Pharisees went forth straightway, took counsel with the Herodians against him,

  280. how they might destroy him.

  281. Jesus knew their playing all along.

  282. He knew their scheming. That's the reason he was angry.

  283. But nevertheless, for the benefit of the man. In our text,

  284. he healed the man. In the Book of Acts, chapter

  285. number ten, of verse number thirty eighth, the writer says this,

  286. how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy ghost

  287. and with power, who went about doing good and healing

  288. all that were oppressed of the devil.

  289. For God was with him. Isaiah said he was despised

  290. and rejecting.

  291. Well, as Isaiah said, he is despised and rejecting, Yet

  292. he went about doing good. Now few records Jesus saying this.

  293. The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air

  294. have ness, But the son.

  295. Of Man hath not where to lay his head.

  296. But still he had compassion, and he healed the sick.

  297. Still he walked, though he didn't have nowhere.

  298. To lay his head. Still, he walked into the center

  299. God and gave himself to a man to bear heating

  300. sean Roth. He was in the world, and the world

  301. was made by him.

  302. The world knew him not he came into his own,

  303. and his own received him. Not yet he laid his

  304. life down.

  305. Yet he died on the rugged cross for me and you,

  306. and work all the words lookingly.

  307. Then cut.

  308. He was scarsed, he was mocked, he was spun up home.

  309. They beat a crowd of sword into his head. He

  310. was torn a cruise. He was being big pass recognition.

  311. They kneeled him two and three where he hung.

  312. And died for you and me.

  313. Yet it alone compassion which no man can fathom or return,

  314. he said, Father, forgive him, not looking to what man

  315. timed into him, despise it a shame, But for the

  316. joy that was set before him.

  317. He endured the crops for me.

  318. Answer you, he's never given account to what the world up.

  319. I told you. He's our example. He's never gave account

  320. to the thought. Then they beat in his head. For

  321. the joy that was said before you, Jesus showed.

  322. Us how to stay true to our purpose. Jesus showed

  323. us how to stay on target despite what happens around us,

  324. despite what others saying. I've heard all my life when

  325. I'm not gonna twelve on this, but I've heard this

  326. in study. I've heard all my life people say I

  327. was heard in church. Well, friend, Jesus was in church.

  328. He was grieved in his spirit in church. He was

  329. angry in church. But did he let it stop me?

  330. Didn't let us stop me from healing to man. Didn't

  331. let stop me from touching that man right there? He did. No,

  332. he didn't, and he never did, as he never will.

  333. I preached to you today at ten thirty eight.

  334. Despite all of that, at the end of the day,

  335. Loue route, he.

  336. Went about do it good.

  337. He went about my giving thought to the scheming of

  338. the religious elites, not pandering to the desires of the Pharisees.

  339. Nor caring what the headline.

  340. For tomorrow's edition of the Rumor Milgazella, not caring what

  341. the skeptics say, not caring what the what the one

  342. teller trying to flip.

  343. Him up and trying to trip him up. He went

  344. about doing good.

  345. Jesus was angry and grieved at the way that they

  346. were acting, but he never wants let it affect his

  347. ministry or pull on the focus of his mission.

  348. He never wants ever gave up on the hoose and

  349. he came to heal. He never gave.

  350. Up on the ones that he came to minister too

  351. because someone.

  352. Else hurt him or.

  353. Said something that offended him. People in their actions, situations,

  354. or even our day to day lives shouldn't never never

  355. dictate our wave with God. What happens in our life

  356. should never offend what happens in our spiritual life. We've

  357. heard pastor preaching God stopped my polar situation.

  358. Don't change the way he thinks about us.

  359. The what people do, don't change the way he thinks

  360. about us.

  361. When He's got good for his people, my.

  362. Dear brothers and my sisters, Jesus left us no excuse.

  363. Jesus left us no excuse for despite what they would say,

  364. despite what he knew us to come, he went about

  365. doing good.

  366. Luke was after Luke was after all.

  367. That, and he looked at what the Pharisees had done,

  368. and he looked at the scheming that they would do,

  369. and he looked at all the persecutions, and he said,

  370. Jesus went about doing good. I implore you here today,

  371. go about doing good. Give no thought to what others think.

  372. Give no thought to what.

  373. Others are doing or saying, or the scheming of the

  374. PLOTY focus on your mission, Focus on what needs to

  375. be focused on, Focus on what matters when we cross chords.

  376. Hit a time.

  377. Let's stand here tonight. I wonder if we've got anyone

  378. that would say, I want to stay focused, not caring

  379. what others would do, not caring what others would say.

  380. You feel like praying, Find you a place to pray

  381. here tonight. Believe God will lead us right here, and

  382. we'll renew our focus, renew our desire.

  383. Oh God, I thank you for your goodness.

  384. Oh oh, despite what others do, despite what others say.

  385. The Bible says, as a lamp let to his flaughter

  386. before his shears his dumb so he opened, not his mouth.

  387. He was reviled. Yeah, he reviled. Not again. Hey, h.

  388. K rids a matter of about the two people he.

  389. Can do.

  390. It's the colomy and less me cool and nothing he

  391. can do he can afore me, he can do it

  392. more heed the hallway through the scene a moount the

  393. two people. He didn't afore me. He can do it

  394. more with the thought of me, lest me be cool.

  395. There ain't nothing he can do. He can aform me.

  396. He can do it more, asking.

  397. Somehow back.

  398. It's been less. Something change.

  399. Lest he harmway through the scene.

  400. You mountain to be moved. He didn't afform me. He

  401. can do it for.

  402. Why did the column in less near vehicles?

  403. There ain't nothing he can do. He didn't for me.

  404. He can do it bored me.

  406. could afford me.

  410. Gust oh me.

  412. Let me be the first to test me.

  413. By where indeed a hallway through the scene, or you're

  414. montitude be moved to deform me.

  415. He can do it for.

  416. Where the cary lest me. He calls the rain he

  417. can't do bore me. He can done.

  418. So duty.

  419. He didn't bore me. He can do it for you

  420. give me breath for Hoscu. He didn't bore me.

  421. He can do it for.

  422. He bore me. He can done well.

  423. Beauty, breath up for hoxcuse.

  424. We dispore me. He can do it. Who well, Piling.

  426. He can do it. Boy, well, he's.

  427. The colony's LESSI vehicles say nothing. He can do He

  429. Story. How can work any day? And the way right,

  430. said mean the holway through the scene. You mount to

  431. do me moon. He didn't bore me. He can do

  432. it all.
