  1. Help people again.

  2. That they do think.

  3. I appreciate being here tonight. I appreciate what he said.

  4. Yeah, yeah, good.

  5. Anyway, I appreciate what the Lord's doing in my life.

  6. Uh, some of the things he's done to me in

  7. the past few weeks.

  8. And I believe he's gonna do warm yes.

  9. Uh, anyway, I believe he is not done with me yet. Right,

  10. he'd have done a good work in me, will completely

  11. until a day in Christ.

  12. Amen. I believe that. So anyway, I'm glad to be

  13. here tonight. Uh. He's the Lord. He's a lord sloping

  14. or something like that.

  15. Anyway, Again, anyway, I'm glad to be here tonight. This

  16. is the day the Lord hath made less. Rejoice and

  17. be glad in it. I'm thankful for some of the

  18. things he's parents, he's answered, and what he's been doing. Anyway,

  19. I'm gonna be reading from two portions of Scriptures. I

  20. didn't really know what I was gonna preach on tonight

  21. till this afternoon.

  22. Tell you what happened.

  23. I was there, I took a nab. The Lord spoke

  24. to me this message. Ah Amen.

  25. I remember when I pastor it over and get Brown

  26. Hall Sunday mornings. It was nothing for me to have

  27. a dream or some here's some voice tell me what

  28. to preach that Sunday morning. So you know, I've had

  29. different experiences. What experience I'll try getting and the man. First,

  30. we're gonna read from Glacious chapter one, and then we'll

  31. go to the Acts chapter five. But I just wanna

  32. tell a story one Thursday night years ago when I

  33. was passion to give Brown Haula.

  34. It was amazing what happened. Everything.

  35. The Lord literally whispered in my ear everything I had

  36. to preach.

  37. It was the only time that ever happened. But it

  38. did happen. But once again the Lord spoke to me

  39. like he did at give Brown Hall. Just remind me

  40. of act. You two messages, and then I realized and

  41. the which one to do? Glacious chapter one, And I'm

  42. gonna be reading only one.

  43. Verse for us to stand or do I now persuade

  44. them or God?

  45. Or do I seek to please men? For if yet?

  46. For if I yet please men, I should not be

  47. the servant in Christ. I'm gonna read one more time

  48. for do I now persuade men or God?

  49. Or do I seek to please men? For if I

  50. yet please.

  51. Men, I should not be the servant of Christ Glatious

  52. Chapter five.

  53. I'm gonna start it verse twenty.

  54. Eight, saying, did we not straightly command you that you

  55. should not teach in his name?

  56. And behold you fill Jerusalem with your doctor and intend

  57. to bring this man's blood upon us.

  58. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we

  59. ought to obey God rather than man. Verse thirty. The

  60. God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom.

  61. You have on who he slew and hanged on the tree.

  62. Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be

  63. a prince and a savior, for to give repentance to

  64. Israel forgiveness of his sin.

  65. And we are his witnesses those things, and so also

  66. as a holy ghost, whom God hath given us.

  67. To them to obey him.

  68. And I'm gonna drop down the verse forty to him.

  69. They agreed, And when they had called the apostles and

  70. beaten them, they command they should not speak in the

  71. name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed

  72. from the presence of the council, and rejoicing that they

  73. were kind of worthy to suffer, for his names were

  74. his name and daily and a temple in every house,

  75. they cease not to teach and prea Jesus Christ.

  76. Back to verse twenty nine, which is my title.

  77. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we

  78. ought to beg God rather than man.

  79. We ought to beg God rather than men.

  80. That's my title.

  81. That's very heavenly.

  82. Father.

  83. I thank your father for this message. I thank your

  84. father for this time. I can preach your word or

  85. ask your father. So annoy id let us to play.

  86. Here's to here, touch each and every yard life here tonight.

  87. And help us we always realize we ought to beg

  88. God rather than men in Jesus' name.

  89. Amen.

  90. Before I get into the meat of it, I'll just

  91. tell a story a ready years ago by the Methodist

  92. Creature used to have a column with some Virginia Pate

  93. Jever read anything by the league Reverend E. P. Bailey,

  94. that's okay, APRONW.

  95. Bailey. He used to write some of them, had some

  96. of the most interesting sermon illustrations.

  97. He passed away in two thousand and five, and it

  98. took about a year, but finally in the Northern Virginia

  99. Daily after year after his death ceased him, because you know,

  100. they had quite a.

  101. Few leftovers from him. They never published anyway.

  102. Back to him.

  103. One time he told the story of a man he

  104. just graduated from seminary, and of course he wasn't like us,

  105. you know, old time holding us. Of course, I hope

  106. he didn't graduate from day of our holdness seminaries, but

  107. gray summer goaling, not.

  108. The seminaries of some of the people who went there going.

  109. I wouldn't be shocked. He took a mountain preacher of church.

  110. Believe it or not.

  111. I had a country church out in Nowhere's Land, Virginia

  112. called gid Brown Hall. When I first start there, we

  113. only had one source a week that I moved.

  114. Up to two, and finally when I was resigned, we were.

  115. Doing three weeks three services a week, Praise the Lord. Anyway,

  116. this preacher out fresh as seminary took him Mountain Church

  117. and the first service he was there, first Sunday morning,

  118. he got up he preached against the sin a gambling.

  119. After the end of the church service. Yes, we had

  120. this church people who owned race horses and casinos. Woo.

  121. They let him know how this pleased.

  122. They were, well, you know what he should have exercised

  123. Matthew chapter eighteen. A man about you, if a brother

  124. trespass against you, to take them, aside.

  125. Them and them alone.

  126. If they don't hear you, then take two or three witnesses,

  127. and mauth of two or three witnesses there were be established.

  128. Then bring it before the church and have and let

  129. them become as republican and sinner if they don't repent.

  130. That was the first Sunday, but he didn't do that.

  131. Second Sunday he got up and preached against drunkenness.

  132. Guess what.

  133. Where people who made wine and liquor in his church? Boy,

  134. if I had a church like that, I'd be coming

  135. down harder than he ever did. Because after that he

  136. found that their anger. Ye, guess what, They better repented

  137. or they'll feel God's anger.

  138. Third Sunday. Once again, this wasn't a holiness man. I

  139. want you to know that. The fourth, the third Sunday,

  140. he condemned tobacco.

  141. Found out people in this church were were growing tobacco

  142. to be chewed and smoked, and they let him know

  143. what a horrible preacher he was. It shouldn't matter. He

  144. should have stood his ground.

  145. But guess what he did. His fourth Sunday, he got up.

  146. He waved his arms with all authority, preaching against deep

  147. sea fishing outside international waters.

  148. You know what, he should stayed to the book, shouldn't he? Amen?

  149. He should are condemned alcohol.

  150. You should have condemned tobacco, and you should have condemned gambling,

  151. because they all.

  152. Will take you the same place with pen It'll all

  153. take you to hell.

  154. But today we are in an hour where it's worse

  155. than just somebody graduate from a seminary.

  156. Find a world of the congregation. We're in an hour now.

  157. Yeah, but we're gonna have to decide. Yeah, do we

  158. seek to please men O God?

  159. I fear for this hour? I fear for this hour.

  160. I fear what's gonna happen the way some churches are

  161. preaching it. Now, it sounds like we could almost have

  162. to obey every law they put in the book. Now,

  163. before I go any further, got input, You get tickets.

  164. That's where Roman's thirteen takes care of you. Benner a Bay,

  165. is what I'm saying. I've had some tickets in my lifetime.

  166. Only one I can honestly say, wasn't that My fault

  167. with the rest.

  168. Were clearly my fault. Come on, So there are laws

  169. we gotta bay. Don't go out there.

  170. It says thirty five miles an hour and you're flying

  171. down the road of seventy. Amen, I know you to

  172. get you for reckless driving, a reckless endangerment, if not

  173. both the way some are, and I'll tell you what,

  174. you probably deserve both to pardon me.

  175. But tonight, I'm not dealing with the speedy walls.

  176. I'm not dealing with a county ordinances concerned barking dogs.

  177. Oh day, I saw aline a barking cockatoo.

  178. If somebody had a coppertoo in a place where they

  179. had barking dogs.

  180. Ordinances, they could have gotten in trouble. I was still

  181. wondering about that. Enough all that anyway, tonight, we're not

  182. dealing with things like that. We're dealing with more serious

  183. things than that.

  184. We're dealing with abortion, we're dealing with homosexuality.

  185. We're dealing with a lot of things that we.

  186. As Christians four years ago, if we got up and preached,

  187. you know, hardly anybody think about passing law making the

  188. illegal for us to preach against homosexuality.

  189. But they were out there that wanted to be silent, Amen,

  190. what do we do in that hour?

  191. We ought to obey God rather than me, and we

  192. ought to obey God rather than the end tonight.

  193. There is a precedent set in the word of God.

  194. I know. Sometimes people come up to me about the

  195. verses about a wife, obey your husband and the Lord.

  196. They say, how about my husband wants me to commit idolatry.

  197. You obey God and not a man. That is, you

  198. don't commit adultry.

  199. Amen. It's called the higher law.

  200. Amen.

  201. It's like a person who's working at a job, pardon.

  202. Me, Maybe I need to deal with these before I

  203. get into more serious issues. Your for a company and

  204. your boss wants you to steal. They say, you're coworker.

  205. That's bad enough.

  206. I'm talking about your boss. I've heard it happening. I've

  207. heard it happening. I've heard it happen there. They ain't

  208. even because when they're going under.

  209. Struggling financially and they say, hey, he help us set

  210. a fire tonight, we'll get the interest.

  211. You don't do that. You don't do that.

  212. And by the way, if they want you to burn

  213. a beild, you know, my advice would be, after you

  214. pray about it.

  215. I think you need to call a priest and let

  216. them know what's going on.

  217. You can disagree, but that's where I stand.

  218. Amen.

  219. But tonight we ought to obey God rather than man.

  220. I don't believe a child hard me for the wible

  221. sly do it.

  222. The parent wants to do something evil with him the child,

  223. I'll say nothing, Amen, And that's me being plied, isn't it.

  224. Amen? It's time. Yes, I believe in obeying your parents.

  225. Your parents want to either go to church, you go

  226. to church with them, right amen.

  227. If they don't want you to stick your hand in

  228. the cookie jar, we without permission. You don't stick your

  229. your hand in the cookie jar without their permission.

  230. Come on, come on. I know some may not like that,

  231. but hey, I believe it's a scoop, sir.

  232. Amen.

  233. If they want you to study a.

  234. Lesson, you know from their Christian school or homeschool, hopefully.

  235. You need to study that lesson and study it. Well,

  236. come on. And that's where I stand.

  237. But if they want you to do something wrong, God forbid,

  238. God forbid.

  239. Amen. I believe there's some laws, some lines to draw

  240. other l The.

  241. Lines are right in this book right here.

  242. There are the Holy Bible. Amen, back to where I

  243. was hiding.

  244. You know, they're trying to make it the harder for

  245. us to preach against certain sins they're trying to guess

  246. they call a hate crime if we preach against homosexuality.

  247. I got news for you. Well, I believe you can

  248. hate homosexuals and preach against it. Guess what I believe

  249. if you don't preach against it, you do.

  250. Love all right.

  251. Yes, I don't believe a man.

  252. Could be a homosexual, could be saved to be a homosexual.

  253. At the same time, I want you to know what

  254. I'm ready to say.

  255. But God has saved homosexuals, and.

  256. Even in the first in the Book of Corinthians, chapter six,

  257. Pardon me. I wasn't even planning on reading that. I

  258. wasn't even gonna do it. I had another verse I

  259. got marked, verse nine and ten. Amen, know you not

  260. that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God

  261. be not deceived. Neither fornicaters, nor adolters, nor adolters, nor

  262. nor abusers of cells of mankind, nor drunks, nor covenants,

  263. nor drunkards, nor revilers nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom

  264. of God, abuser themselves of mankind and of femins.

  265. I'm not gonna get on, but the difference. I know

  266. what they talk some Bible school, and that's kind of

  267. where I stand, right, So I'll leave it there. I

  268. don't want children around.

  269. Just ratter, not say a lot. But let's go to

  270. the next verse. And such were some of you, But

  271. you're washed, You're just, you're sanctified, You're justified the name

  272. of the Lord Jesus by the spirit of our God,

  273. uses themselves as mankind and defendemens right in its first prisons,

  274. right in that church.

  275. There were some who had been involved in that one time?

  276. Or what did Jesus say? And such world? Whether Paul say,

  277. such were some of.

  278. You such wood, some of you sounds to be like

  279. the Lord can take a homosection, make it strange, cause

  280. them be adacher. He could take the worst steave and

  281. make him honest. One man in particular, I just slipped

  282. his name slipped by Yat saved that Billy Graham crusade.

  283. Would I believe Billy Graham stood for some.

  284. In fact, it was at the.

  285. Very crusade where this purst man told his reporters puff

  286. Billy Graham could have been.

  287. In fact, it probably was his greatest revival. He went

  288. down after that. There was one man there.

  289. I wish I could remember his name. He was a

  290. wire tapper. He would do it for the FBI, he

  291. would do it for the police, or he would do

  292. it for them. Off.

  293. Yeah, just whoever gave him the most money during that

  294. time before the.

  295. He he did that when he went to that service,

  296. he stood up in a trial and lied under oath

  297. plus him and cry about who knows how many others.

  298. You know that man did. He came to the all

  299. got saved and a Billy Graham, who say, guess what

  300. happened to him? Right after that? He told him I

  301. gotta go back to that court here.

  302. And he was still going on.

  303. You know, he said he admitted he lied under the

  304. road that's called restitution, reconciliation. He had gone to jail.

  305. Even better off in prison. They w serving God and

  306. carry that lie. Once you lie, you never make it right.

  307. He'll follow you the rest of your life.

  308. Amen. I'm kind of off the message a little bit,

  309. but I'll.

  310. Get to it.

  311. You know, he did.

  312. He's filled the truth the way I understand it he

  313. never got. I believe that's an honest judge, at least

  314. half honist. Yeah, because I'll tell you why. If I

  315. was a judge, I wouldn't be worried about a man

  316. who just didknit to me that he lied under the

  317. road for once the correctice you knew, who I'd be

  318. worried about the ones that lied under the road and

  319. never did correct it.

  320. WHOA that'd be an honest judge, wouldn't you say?

  321. Go after the ones that told the same lie that

  322. he did earlier. Those are the ones that deep perjury.

  323. Not him.

  324. One more thing, this man had a lot of debts.

  325. He owed a lot of money. He sold his house

  326. and he sold his call to pay off all his debts.

  327. I think that's a forgotten doctor, isn't you know?

  328. If the Zachs did he went back and pate four

  329. oh ss specifically.

  330. Anyboy east or by.

  331. False accusation woo. He may not have had much left

  332. because the other half went to the poor. He had

  333. something greater.

  334. Than they o.

  335. He had God.

  336. They had a relationship with them. But tonight, who do

  337. we seek to please? Men or God?

  338. We have the example where the precedents in the Word

  339. of God Daniel.

  340. Chapter one, we find out.

  341. About Daniel and his three friends Shadrack me Shacking of Bendigo.

  342. Mind you, he was the only one that was called

  343. by the name of Daniel throughout all of them went

  344. by their their uh Babylonian names, m. Shadrack me Shacking

  345. of Bendigo. But didn't matter.

  346. They may have been given a new name if they

  347. never lost their idea. Than you WoT he purpose in

  348. his heart?

  349. Not that they filed himself with the king's meat, nor

  350. that the wine he drank. It's sad to say, a

  351. lot of churches now they would probably say, go ahead,

  352. drink that wine.

  353. Don't you dare right? Don't you dare touch it?

  354. They if they say, you're rude because you won't drink

  355. at that wine or that beer about you, hey say no,

  356. I do not.

  357. Touch this stuff. Amen. It's I've been convicted of it

  358. years ago.

  359. I truly was too, cause they used to call me

  360. hippie chippy before I got saved, and I did drink wine.

  361. Well let her and uh beer, all of 'em. Thank god?

  362. Such was I?

  363. Such was I?

  364. Can I tell you something that I They wouldn't even

  365. touch them be he drank he ates.

  366. I believe there's probably pork on there now under the

  367. Old test New Testament. And Peter was told what God

  368. has plans, don't any man call unclean. That's the injurids

  369. of the Gentiles. It's also saying you wanna eat eat

  370. pick meat, you're born wealth.

  371. Come on, I love paying meat. I don't think they

  372. will keep you out. Having one minute might get you

  373. there faster a call.

  374. Keep guy heaving eat eat pork or sausage or any

  375. of that stuff.

  376. Amen. Amen?

  377. Anyway, so we under the Old New Testament, we can

  378. eat those animals.

  379. There's some I will not eat, don't eat therapists skunking

  380. from me who I will not eat it. And I

  381. don't wanna be eating cats or dogs. Amen, I might

  382. eat uh uh see, I am wait? What was about

  383. eat some ducks if I want them to be raised

  384. all the fallger first? Please? But well enough of that tonight.

  385. They were not to eat the meat, and even.

  386. If it wasn't the more likely the sacrifice to idels,

  387. it could have been deef If it was sacrificed to idels,

  388. they were not to touch it.

  389. Amens. So you know what he refused. All they ate

  390. was water and pulps his You know, the Pananam was worried.

  391. And they look worse than the others.

  392. Guess what the end of ten days, they are fatter

  393. and fatter in the flesh then the ones that eat

  394. the King's meat.

  395. So they never had to touch that.

  396. In the chapter three.

  397. They were in that still babblue never Cannezer has statue

  398. rais and then me and they.

  399. Said when the music was played, he was the boy

  400. and if he didn't.

  401. He burned.

  402. And first off, I wanna deal with s uh Daniel's absence. No,

  403. I don't believe Daniel Backs lived. I believe Daniel more

  404. than likely was in another country during the King's business.

  405. It doesn't say, but that's where I stand.

  406. I believe he could not have been there for some reason.

  407. There's three friends shaggracked me, Shack and the ben to

  408. go where they are and guess what.

  409. They were reported and they were used to buy right,

  410. there's two reasons why I'm going. There's one good reason

  411. that you made to you.

  412. I'm glad Daniel wasn't there. Have you ever met people well,

  413. A certain strong spiritually.

  414. Figure was away from them. They backs.

  415. My late wife Cindy told me, if a girl used

  416. to give her rise to church, this lady as long.

  417. As uh as long as uh she was uh in

  418. in going to church there not in school.

  419. FGBI that lady did well.

  420. But the minute she went to Bible school, it wasn't

  421. long to that lady accent right.

  422. This shows me that they had what they needed.

  423. They were all serving God and they were not gonna

  424. bow just because Daniel wasn't there.

  425. Personally, I believe Daniel was there.

  426. He would have stood with him too, But because he wasn't,

  427. God's has shown us you don't have to have that

  428. strong appreciature with yet, right, You just need to be

  429. a strong Christian yourself, no matter how weak you. I

  430. think they all stood. They sought to please God, not men.

  431. They realized that they bowed, they'd be worshiping another I

  432. another God.

  433. What did they do?

  434. They refuse to bow? The King gave 'em an opportunity.

  435. They said, we will not bow.

  436. They were not.

  437. They were not gonna bow, and they were not afraid

  438. to burn either.

  439. Right now, For the saddest parts, they were all bound

  440. and gagged, thrown in the fire.

  441. Read this careful One day the men who.

  442. Bound and gagged them would consumed by the fire. You

  443. know why I tell that because sometimes people who were

  444. in the military are a policeman said, well, I'm doing

  445. just what I'm told.

  446. Oo.

  447. I believe a Christian shouldn't if they ever have to

  448. disobey those ahead of them and risk punishment, maybe eatn

  449. that you uh, refuse to bow because.

  450. The thing that you they will die with the rest.

  451. You know what is amazing happened, They would not earn it.

  452. All their bonds is the only thing that about burns tonight.

  453. Maybe if you refuse to bow, your bonds will be

  454. burned a then and then they were singing in the fire,

  455. and one thing else, and this is the main thing.

  456. Never can.

  457. Ezar looked and saw a fourth man in the fire,

  458. and he said, looks like the son of God. That's

  459. one reason why I like the King James m Some

  460. t ursion say the Sun a son of God, or

  461. a son of God, or the sons of God a

  462. son of God's though it's the son of.

  463. A living God, Jesus Christ. He is with him even

  464. if they burnt, Just to see them with a son

  465. of God. When they good enough, I'll get to that

  466. Lord willing. What happened? They let the men go nevertan Nazzar,

  467. who had the authority to do it.

  468. I did that long.

  469. And I don't know how you stand on Daniel form,

  470. but I'll tell you what I believe.

  471. Because of Daniel, the three Hebrew young men, and that

  472. that p that seven years of mental illness, I'm mother camp.

  473. Ask me where I think it never can Nazar is now,

  474. I'll tell you exactly where I believe. I believe Nevadez's

  475. in heaven right now, shouting with David, shouting with Samuel,

  476. shouting with Moses, shouting with Abraham. I believe he's there

  477. right now, shouting with the New Testament saints. I personally

  478. believe that never Canzer God saves. Despite how wicked a

  479. man he was in scripture, I belie he's pretty clean

  480. on he humbled himself.

  481. God his mind back. I believe he served the Lord.

  482. I think he was lived one or two years, but

  483. that's better of not serving the Lord at all.

  484. Amen. Daniel sits the riot was a king. They were

  485. down in need of Persia. What happened.

  486. As a result, you know, Daniel five, the the kingdom

  487. of babbles overthrown, and uh per meed of Persia took over.

  488. And Zarias was an outher king. You know what, Daniel

  489. was one man. He looked up too highly.

  490. One day some of the men who were jealous uh

  491. got together and said, they can't find.

  492. Any fault Dan. You are they concerned in the law

  493. that is God? That is they knew he loved God.

  494. He sought to please God, you know, I mean he

  495. knew if he's pleased men, he would not be a

  496. servant of the little one.

  497. You know what's happened.

  498. They passed the law for word thirty days, nobody could

  499. pray to any God or petition any man other than Zarias.

  500. You know, I believe Daniel then when he heard it.

  501. I know what some of us would do. We'd go

  502. up to our window say well, I don't want everybody to.

  503. See me pray, so I'll keep the windows closed today.

  504. He would become very Presbyterian in his Pentecostal prayers.

  505. No, you know, I believe Daniel did.

  506. He opened up the window and he continued being a Pentecostal.

  507. I believe he prayed as loud as he could. I

  508. believe he socked God with all his heart, and as

  509. a result he got arrested. Guess what happened. He was

  510. he was brought before the king and they was to

  511. throw him in the Dane lines. I always loved this story.

  512. You know why.

  513. While the riot was upstairs tossing and turning all night,

  514. I believe Daniel.

  515. Was sleeping on some lines and listening to them, per

  516. having a good night's sleep with pleasant dreams, and the

  517. and the lies weren't even even entertain the.

  518. Thought of eating him. I think he had on a

  519. one of the best nights he ever had. I don't

  520. believe the fleas he bothered him that night.

  521. Next morning, Griss was downstairs offers to hear, said Damne,

  522. and there's an exact words that I believe he says

  523. something for you.

  524. Okay, you either have no.

  525. He was very much alive and very well understand it

  526. was more complicated to change that law.

  527. Guess the way he did. Rand punished to Daniel. He

  528. had all those men that passed.

  529. Those laws, along with their wives and children, thrown in

  530. the lions den.

  531. And guess what happened. The consume them. They consume them

  532. to not do we seek the cheese man or God?

  533. We seek the police man. We now serve them in Christ.

  534. We got to the God rather than in.

  535. The openings the verse of Gold and Acts, we read

  536. how they were arrested and an angel of the Lord

  537. opened up the prison and told them to go outside

  538. the temple and to preach and teach Jesus.

  539. And guess what happened? They were out preaching and.

  540. Teaching Jesus, and all of a sudden the Pharisees and

  541. other religious leaders were told these a man earning the

  542. temple preaching Jesus. Boy, they were upset. I guess what

  543. they were also having their sins exposed, hated Jesus they had.

  544. Put to death. Peter said, we ought to they God.

  545. Yeah, finally a man could not get.

  546. Gambalayle got up and told them, with just being a

  547. god man, it shall come the past of it be

  548. of God. We cannot oversthrow it unless we find ourselves

  549. fighting God.

  550. They let them go. They beat 'em.

  551. I like what happened, and asks for when they got

  552. beaten and and UH persecuted for healing that man.

  553. They came back and had a prayer meeting.

  554. I think they were kind of fell a little.

  555. Horse whipt guess what they left, rejoicing that they were

  556. town worthy right, the suffer for Christ's sake. Now I'm

  557. preaching mainly. Sounds like a very positive message. If you

  558. serve God, they're not gonna kill you.

  559. That's not always true.

  560. In fact, I think it happens more often the other way.

  561. Acts seven, Ract six Stephen was arrested. Act seven. He

  562. gave his uh testimony about his experience of God and

  563. about and trying to put the Old Testament prophecies together

  564. show that Jesus is indeed the Messiah.

  565. Guess what? They didn't like that? So you know what

  566. they did, He.

  567. Said, Verse fifty one, He stiff necked and uncircumcised heart

  568. and ears. You do always resist the Holy ghost as

  569. your fathers? So do Which are the prophets? Have you

  570. not your father's persecute?

  571. You've slain them, showed before of the coming of the

  572. little just one of who he hasn't been now the

  573. betrayers and burghers who has.

  574. Received the law by this position of angels have not

  575. kept it. When they heard these things, they never cut

  576. the heart. They gnashed on him with their teeth. The

  577. he being full of the holy ghosts, looked steadfastly in

  578. the heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing.

  579. On the right hand of God. Amen, doesn't say he

  580. sat the right hand of God. We he went back

  581. to heaven.

  582. Now he's standing Chiproy's commentary. I don't know about a

  583. person who doesn't die.

  584. I'm martyred.

  585. I like to think that Jesus will meet him personally,

  586. So don't worry about that.

  587. That's neither here nor there. Amen.

  588. But when you die, martyr, guess what I believe. I

  589. believe you God guaranteed that the Lord will be standing there.

  590. And waiting to shake your hand.

  591. Yes, I believe he'll shake the hands of other saints

  592. and say, well done, thou good and faithful servant. There's

  593. something special about the martyrs. Before what I see, the

  594. heavens open, the son of Man is standing on.

  595. The right and the God.

  596. They cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears,

  597. ran upon him with one accord, and cast him out

  598. of the city and stoned him. And the witness has

  599. laid down there close at the young man's feet, whose

  600. name was Sam. They stole Stephen, calling upon God and saying,

  601. Lord Jesus received my spirit he kneel down.

  602. And cry with a loud.

  603. Voice, Lord, lay out this sin to their charge. And

  604. then and when he they had said this, he fell asleep.

  605. And even I seek to please men of God. He

  606. suffered for the sake of Christ.

  607. And what did the Lord do? Took you by the hands, and.

  608. Well that.

  609. He even forgave the man who were stolen again. I

  610. don't know about all the men, but.

  611. There was one man they named Saul, Verse one of

  612. chapter eight. Saul was con sing under his death.

  613. At the same time there.

  614. Was a great persecution against the Church which was at Jerusalem,

  615. and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of

  616. Judea and Samaria. Accept the apostles.

  617. We guests who the main man that was due to

  618. the persecution saw Tharsis. I don't know what happens. And

  619. the rest of the men who were about Stone and

  620. Steve and then can sing under his death.

  621. By the way, I don't believe it was just saw

  622. there really just shaking his head, nodded that what they're

  623. doing is okay. I believe Saul was part of the

  624. san Ebre and he approved that. Probably one of the

  625. name was who said put this man to death. So

  626. his nod wasn't just a nod of mere consensual agreement.

  627. He his nod was killed. That was what his approval was.

  628. I'll tell you, Saul was a wicked name, done a

  629. lot of persecuting. Guess what. I believe every time he

  630. had a Christian executed, he would be reminded of Stephen.

  631. Say what did they not just did their charge? I

  632. wonder how many of the Christians he had put to

  633. death said Father, forgive. I wonder how many said at.

  634. At Paul on the Lord and ask the Lord to

  635. forgive that wicked man sawl I believe quite a few did,

  636. and he was being hollered. I believe if what happened,

  637. if he never done what he did Acts nine, he

  638. woulda died and went to Hell on it. And guess

  639. what happened to Aks nine. Jesus appeared to that man.

  640. I believe Stephen denied the Lord. He would have never

  641. seen this. I believe any Christians had denied the Lord.

  642. He was executing, he had never seen it. But because

  643. they stood true, the Lord appeared to take him.

  644. He fell to the ground, was blinded, and the Lord

  645. said him saw saw why persecutes thou me it is

  646. hard for thee to kick against the prince.

  647. Or because the men sought to please God rather than me.

  648. You know what happened.

  649. Saul got saved it and three days later he got

  650. a sight back in the hole Agos. And guess what

  651. happened is Saul he start going by his Roman name Paul.

  652. I've always been amazed he was both a Jew and

  653. a Roman citizen all by Burt.

  654. What did Saul do? He went out preach the Gospel.

  655. He went out suffered much for his sake of Christ.

  656. Because and he's the one that wrote that verse, Who

  657. do I seek to please men or God?

  658. Or if I yet please men, I should not be

  659. the servant of Christ. Saul was a was now on

  660. fire for the Lord.

  661. He wrote, I believe the majority the New Testament, and

  662. I'm gonna add something to you can disagree that I

  663. believe he wrote Hebrews either. I'll tell you why, because

  664. he was a Hebrew and he understood the Hebrew law

  665. probably better than even anybody else in the church in

  666. that day.

  667. I would say that is definite. So he knew what

  668. he was writing when he wrote Hebrews.

  669. Glatious abisions Romans first and second Corinthians, Philippians, Clautians, first Timothy,

  670. second Timothy Titus, and first and second Thessaians.

  671. And teleman I believes Saul, now Paul was a great

  672. man of God. Castine chase the sort of God better.

  673. Than the end. They say, back in the early first century,

  674. when they would be throwing Christians into the lions den.

  675. And are burning them at states, they said it was

  676. nothing for men and women. And in the in those

  677. colosseums of those days, when they saw how passionate the

  678. Christians were being willing to lay down their life, and

  679. guess what happened, Yeah, turned to the world. Yeah, right

  680. in the colosseums tonight, we're gonna seek the pleasing men

  681. of God. If they tell us preachers, you gotta preach,

  682. you got have to perform homosexual marriages wor'll take your

  683. ordination and forbid you to preach.

  684. Guess what we need to get and say, I don't

  685. even do the marriages of people who.

  686. Are divorced with a living husband or a living wife.

  687. Can add something else. I've had opportunities to do weddings.

  688. Guess how me I've done.

  689. Zero. You know why, because the first question.

  690. I always ask you have have you been divorced and

  691. is your husband or wife still living?

  692. Yes? What, that's why I've never done a wedding yet.

  693. If I die without doing a wedding, that's okay. If

  694. I won't do that a divorce, See, I'm definitely not

  695. gonna do that.

  696. Have a homosexual I'm not gonna do a Baptist Pentecostal wedding.

  697. Woo, brother Roy, Yes you heard me, Or a Methodist

  698. and Pentecostal, or a or a cares Back and an old.

  699. Time Holdingess Pentecostal or an Episcopalian a Pentecostal. I'm definitely

  700. not gonna do a homosexual marriage. In fact, I like

  701. what one preacher told me. He one time was gonna

  702. do a wedding for two people in this church, both

  703. all time holdingess people.

  704. Yes, what.

  705. The lords start to speak to the end, there's something

  706. not right there. He went to the parents, and I

  707. think it was a girl said listen, I can't do this.

  708. Something is not right here. Something's not right, all outward standards,

  709. all outward appearances. Nothing was wrong.

  710. He said, God he knows that is revealing it to

  711. the past. Well, they put pressure on and he did

  712. anyway lay wrong, they think, they think worst. Later on

  713. that parent came up to him.

  714. Sometimes you just got to say.

  715. No cause the word speaking to you.

  716. And then just because you're the same faith and everything

  717. looks good, guess.

  718. I appreciated myself. Honor doesn't mean it's always wrong Tonight.

  719. We all seek to please mean, I mean please God,

  720. not mean, but you got to please. Uh, I don't know,

  721. I don't see me tonight it's time for us to

  722. forget our selves. It's not the fire our sils.

  723. To to stay.

  724. Against the sins of America. People say whether by born

  725. sheet knew if I was clear on Luke in his

  726. writings when he's yup with a a baby.

  727. Leaping in John the Baptist sleeping in the woman, he

  728. had the exact.

  729. Same Greek word for that unborn child that he would

  730. have for a born child.

  731. Woo. Now he was under the Holy ghost annoying. I'm

  732. not saying he wasn't.

  733. But Luke would know.

  734. He was a physician, right right, he knew there was

  735. no difference in God's eyes between an unborn child or

  736. a born child.

  737. In my main verse to Nights.

  738. I hadn't ready to read Proverbs chapter six, sixteen through nineteen.

  739. These six things do if the Lord hate. Now, before

  740. I go any further, I want to say something. This

  741. is not the seven deadly sins that proke Gregory the

  742. Great put together.

  743. That's not it.

  744. And this is not just a list of six or

  745. seven deadly sins. I will explain it to you.

  746. Yeay, seven are an abomination under him. I'll go ahead

  747. and explain it now. These six things actually lead to

  748. the seventh. A proud look, a lying tongue, well, you know,

  749. a lying tongue would lead to sow and discord amongst brethren. Amen,

  750. and hands of shed innocent blood, heart to devise of

  751. wicked imaginations, feet that be swift and running the mischief.

  752. A false witness is speak of lies, and he had

  753. so if discord amongst the brethren, you know, I know

  754. there's more truth than than just just the unborn hands

  755. and shed innocent blood. I believe when they stone Stephen,

  756. they were guilty of hands and shed innocent blood. When

  757. Isaiah was sold in half, I believe that as those

  758. hands shed innocent blood.

  759. But what could be more.

  760. Innocent than a unborn child who's never committed a single sin?

  761. Who's never told a lie said to say, uh, most

  762. of all of us have sinned somewhere along the line.

  763. The other reason we're innocent is through the blood of

  764. Jesus Christ.

  765. No other way.

  766. Amen, Hands and shed innocent blood. There's no more innocent

  767. blood then born child.

  768. And yes, I think things are improving.

  769. That does so discord amongst brethren. Look what's happening here

  770. in America. America is divided because of hands and shed

  771. inn it's a blood. America's divide because of heart, the

  772. device of wicked imaginations like homosexual marriages in.

  773. That horrible sin, I just rare enough.

  774. I'll just say the tea crowd of the LGBT community, Amen,

  775. I don't even like talking about that one. For the

  776. child children's sake, the sad younger kids and their kids here,

  777. the rands are suffering because of those people. It sounds

  778. like they could be very well be and as a

  779. shed with innocent blood as well as a heart. The

  780. divisive wicked imaginations.

  781. Can't hold by in the area.

  782. You say, old brother Roy, and I guess the pro

  783. life people, the people preaching morals, need to shut up wrong.

  784. According to the Bible, here the abortionists are on the

  785. wrong side right according to the Bible, those who uh

  786. are advocate homosexual marriages and worse right are on the

  787. wrong side. They're on the devil's side of God's side.

  788. There should not even be things like that discussed in America.

  789. The people involved in should be back in the back

  790. of the most back of back alleys.

  791. But tonight I'm against back alley abortionists. I'm just saying

  792. that tonight. You know we're about ready. You don't know

  793. when persecutions comes into church.

  794. I heard about several years ago man, cause he preached

  795. against spanking children.

  796. A judge ordered him not to preach anymore.

  797. You know how I wanted to, Brother, I.

  798. Got back up in my full pet and preached right

  799. at judge. You never called me.

  800. No politicians called me, No President, prime minister, no Senator

  801. DoD Olmighty has called me if they tell me I

  802. can't preach anymore because of my stands to not.

  803. You know, preach anyway. Amen, you need to be ready.

  804. I don't know what's gonna happen next.

  805. We need to be prayed up to studying up. We

  806. need to listen to messages like this. How many people

  807. have heard messages like this, there's some people are having

  808. or some people having you. I was once again, it's

  809. back to Romans thirteen. If you're doing seventy and a

  810. thirty five zone, you see that blue light pour over,

  811. get yourself a good attorney. I'm serious. I'm very serious,

  812. because amen, when I had a reckless driving charge on me,

  813. when I hit that nail trap, I had again an attorney.

  814. Thank god. Did he said how much did you pay?

  815. Eight hundred dollars? You're all saying, oh, that's expensive. No

  816. it's not, No, it's not.

  817. That's a good price for an attorney, especially when he

  818. was considered a first attorney in the Winchester Frederick County

  819. area of virgin.

  820. Yeah, no joke.

  821. But tonight I got on the term you he.

  822. Need he spoke to the judge, and the judge reducing

  823. my si my crime. I don't know if it's really

  824. what I called from reckless driving to improper driving. So

  825. I didn't have to pay year as much of fine,

  826. just had to pay a fine and court costs.

  827. Then you had to miss demeanor all my record just

  828. a minor advance. Tonight you need a big God right

  829. me in, So don't come out and get left and

  830. till I said.

  831. So, I'm saying no, tonight, it's time for us to

  832. stand for worth A bottle says he need.

  833. It's somebody go come up and get some music. I'm

  834. on giving all a call. I know my main aller

  835. called be for the church. But there's somebody needs to

  836. be saved tonight. I think it's good. Now's a good time.

  837. Let me tell you we need more people the Lord's army,

  838. don't We need some people who are not saved to

  839. get born again, repent of their sin and turn.

  840. To Jesus and follow him. Amen. Yeah, you have to

  841. seek to please God and not man.

  842. So tonight if.

  843. You're not saved, that tonight be the night. Yeah.

  844. If you don't know Jesus, or if you do know Jesus,

  845. to miss yourself once again, you know they him no

  846. matter what the law said. There's many Christians in China

  847. suffer persecution. There's many Christians over in places like Iran.

  848. I understand there's some people over who were born in

  849. a Christian church most of us.

  850. Sad to say, in the Orthodox Church, and they may

  851. not really be saved.

  852. But I've heard of this people getting saved and leaving

  853. the Orthodox Church, and they didn't do a thing to him.

  854. But when they went with the Assembly of God, like

  855. a brother Height did. I never forget met.

  856. Him personally over forty years ago, brother Hip. He done

  857. the unpartful sin over Iran.

  858. Regards what you think of her the hif.

  859. I'll just say it there, I knew he did.

  860. He got a man that was one time a Muslim

  861. or God saved our prison. Knew what the reigning government

  862. didn't approve what Height did. One morning they followed him.

  863. I think he was going to the airport.

  864. He was followed by some radical terrorist muscles. You know

  865. what they did.

  866. Intact Hike and cool mals Van. I don't know exactly

  867. what they did to murder him, but they burned him,

  868. making him harder Hike for days he was missing. Finally,
