Man.
-
It's certainly good to be in the house of the Lord.
-
I appreciate the spirit that we felt already, would trade anything.
-
In the world for it.
-
I too wanna say that I miss our pastor gravely
-
when ship was him behind here tonight bringing us the word.
-
I'd love to hear that our Pastor preach every service
-
it's food for uh for the soul.
-
There's much nutrition in it. It's never lacking anything. And
-
that comes from a praying man. Right. He is a
-
praying man.
-
I grew up listening and hear any pray all hours
-
of the night, and no doubt he still does.
-
We miss him.
-
We missed our first lady uh she is also a
-
praying woman, loved him both dearly. We'll be looking in
-
the Book of uh Me and Maiah chapter four s
-
the miss whether jumaiyas so many everybody said, all those
-
that are out, we miss him.
-
Keep our Pastor in our prayers.
-
Namiah chapter four, verse six, and then we'll just get
-
down to verses thirteen and fourteen. I do have a burden.
-
I had one of the best prayer meetings I've ever
-
had today, felt like I got filled with the Holy
-
Ghost again. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had,
-
and just looking for God to help the us. I
-
really want someone to be provoked tonight, if you will,
-
into a good way, and to push them to strive
-
to do better. But Neamiah four and verse six. So
-
we so built we the wall, and all the wall
-
was joined together, unto the half thereof for the people
-
out of mind to work.
-
And then skipping down to.
-
Verses thirteen through fourteen, therefore said I in the lower
-
places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I
-
even sat the people after their families, with their swords,
-
with their spears, and.
-
With their bows.
-
And I look, and I rose up and said to
-
the nobles and to the rulers, and.
-
To the rest of the people, be not afraid of them.
-
Remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight
-
for your brother your sons, your daughters, your wives, and
-
your house. I want to take the latter portion of
-
verse six right here. It says right here and the
-
people had a mind to work. And then the latter
-
part of verse fourteen, it says, remember the Lord, which
-
is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons,
-
your daughters, your wives, and your sons for a little
-
while to night. The Lord lady has fought on my heart.
-
I'd like to preach on a mind to fight. If don't,
-
my friend, ask God to help us in the Gordess.
-
Lord, we ask you God, Wally seeks the old King God,
-
to do what you have been enough to do.
-
Go to break up the word of Jesus PRIs Oh, Lord,
-
God had to deliver the bird in Lord, what you
-
have placed to burn our eyes?
-
God in the great, But you have sid before us.
-
God like to say anything that jentleman said, God, but
-
to do the will of God wanted to warm the
-
will of God.
-
God has to give you all the movies, all the
-
prince and all they'd the Lord, it will Magnifie saying,
-
Lord God, we'll give you the praise Lord of your
-
precious stuns Sun's game with praise a man and Amen.
-
Now we all kind of know this story.
-
Here in the book of Themiah, they're building the wall
-
that had been destroyed. And uh. They had a reason
-
for building this wall because it was up. It was
-
a source of protection for him. It was a sore
-
to keep the enemy out. Keep those betters want those
-
that wanted to be safe men and those.
-
That were against them out. It said there that they had.
-
A mind to work, but I believe they also had
-
a mind to fight. If you would read further on
-
in that story, it says why they built the wall,
-
they had swords with them.
-
They were determined to build the wall. They were determined because.
-
Why it was a secure place of protection from the enemy.
-
They had a made up mind that whatever it took,
-
they were gonna get it done, and they were gonna
-
get it filled real quick. I'd like to share a
-
story with him. I didn't realize it until I was
-
in prayer about making up your mind. I'm sure brother
-
Philip will probably remember the story. But back in twenty
-
twenty two of December, I had a conversation with him
-
on the washpad. There were were repressure wash racks and stuff,
-
and I told him, I said, I'm tired of being
-
the same old way. I'm tired of being stuck in
-
the same run. I said, I have determined that twenty
-
twenty three will be by year. I made it my goal. Now,
-
I didn't make some silly New Year's resolution. It was
-
something that finally clipped in the heart where I had
-
a determination where I was tired of being stuck behind,
-
where I was tired of being laughed behind, and I said,
-
I've got a maid of mind that I'm gonna fight
-
this year, that I'm gonna get what God has for
-
me this year because my family's sake, and if I
-
will remember rolling around into February twenty three, a life
-
changing revival that change the life of many young men
-
in this service to this stage, thanks be to God's grace.
-
But it only comes because we had a mic to fight,
-
We had a mic to work, We.
-
Had a diligence about it where we said it's time
-
that we built.
-
The wall her.
-
Betters, time we clive and we reclaim. We're progressing to
-
the regrets.
-
I look, I've reached a point of where I was
-
tired of living among my broken down walls. And I
-
didn't want to watch my children grow up in the
-
rubble of.
-
My unbuilt walls and then be at rest for the
-
devil to come in and take them. If the card away,
-
you take good children because they're living in your shelter.
-
I didn't want to watch my girls and my son
-
grow up now bring I didn't have the sun at
-
the time, but I had.
-
My wife and two girls. I didn't want to grow up.
-
With them playing among the stones because I let it
-
lay waste, because I refused.
-
To gravel, breaking water and begin to bill wall. It
-
says they had a mind to work, and they had
-
a mind to fight. Do you have a mind a work?
-
Because I know that I have a mind a fighter,
-
give a thirst, have a mind to work?
-
Now I knew it was gonna be a fight, but
-
I remember I made up my mind.
-
Now a hell old children, and I'm sure some of
-
the other children could say a man to this year.
-
We know what it's like to grow up in a
-
house where we hurt our mom and our dad, praying
-
for our souls.
-
I can still.
-
Remember several times getting up to get something to drink
-
in the middle of the night, only to hear my
-
fr my dad crying out downstairs.
-
Haven't echoed across the town floor, praying in the hole?
-
It ghost and it broke conviction to me, Parry, can't
-
you say that? Will your children being able to know
-
that you're fighting?
-
Ever?
-
Will they grow up knowing the long praying for my
-
thought my dad had the burden for me.
-
Because they have a mind to fight for you.
-
Thank y'all for your prayers.
-
I know what it's like to hear our pastor pool
-
and to reach for our souls. Y'all all too now
-
know what it's like for sister how my pastor has
-
a burden of the Lord to begin to cry out
-
and know all it goes as she realizes that our
-
pastor is a mom of a fight and he needs a.
-
Little bit of reinforcement. He needs someone who has his back.
-
Husband, do you have your wife's back when it comes
-
to praying?
-
Why do you have your husband back when it comes
-
to praying?
-
Do?
-
It's better than what?
-
Too?
-
It's better than why?
-
We need a little help, hallelujah.
-
Now, I'm not sure.
-
I know for my dad, and he grew up with
-
a mother that would cry out for him.
-
That's for my mom.
-
I don't think so, But I'm glad that she has
-
learned how to fight for us. Hello, child, she not
-
only fight for us now, she's fighting for her grandchildren
-
and every everybody else that's in here.
-
That woman had the burden for you. I promise you.
-
Now, as soon as you make up your mind that
-
you're going to start to build and start to fight
-
the enemy's going to start their plan to attack and
-
destroy what you're trying to protect.
-
How do I know that?
-
Go to verse uh in chapter four, verse one, when
-
it came to pass and sandal I heard that.
-
We build the wall and it was rot and took
-
great indignation and mocked the Jews.
-
That's where his planning began. And he's faked the forest
-
Brethren in the Army of Samara.
-
And said, what do these people Jews ain't know?
-
They're not as people as you think. You can catch
-
the devil up dard and talk. They're not as people
-
as you act.
-
It's not gonna be easy to fight for your family.
-
The devil's gonna fight every time you turn to wield
-
the sword.
-
He's gonna have one right there as well.
-
But you gotta be constantly on guard. Without a fight,
-
that will be no future for your children. I felt
-
that those strong in prayer without me.
-
Taking a fight, and that's hold is fuck.
-
That will be no future for my children, at least not.
-
In this way.
-
Maybe in the world, yeah, but I don't want them
-
to have a future in sin. I want to watch
-
my children know what it's like to be shocking by
-
the power.
-
The Holy goes. They to watch your mother shouts, they
-
to watch her mother shout. I know what kind of
-
conviction it wrought to.
-
Me to watch my mother and my father get in
-
and for me to know that, hey, I'm missing something.
-
I'm not taking this fight seriously. Everybody came together to
-
building the fight. I don't think they were fighting one another.
-
I think they worked together. They had a purpose. They
-
weren't only fight for their children. You don't need the
-
Holy Ghost, only fight for you, and she would do
-
fucking children's children. There's other child as will. They had
-
a sore at the ready white build. There needs to
-
be something in you that says I'm not coming down
-
to mess you. Further on in there in that book
-
in ne A Mayah Neo Mayah, Yeah sorry, thought.
-
Of his pronounce it. He tried to get him to
-
come and meet him, but then, no, I'm not coming
-
I know the way you work. The moment I come down,
-
you'll take seach of this late. You have to stand
-
your clown, plug your ears to the enemy. They say, no,
-
I'm not coming down.
-
This is my fight.
-
I shall be that kas red with a fighter, rising
-
you with the fighter go away. What they gonna take.
-
I hope I can provoke the fighter and somebody that
-
I now, I can promise you ain't.
-
No Whimpson has been like a troll with you that
-
I'm preaching the maybe just one or two. I feel
-
like I want the fighter to be awoken. I know
-
it's in it.
-
I don't wake it.
-
Where's the fighting you? Is it dead?
-
It just doesn't need to be provoked. I hope it
-
just gotta be prood I realized yourself vulnerable. My children were,
-
I mean not being in the fight.
-
I was ahead on my house.
-
And I realized I had no sword in my hand.
-
I realized that I'm supposed to be leading them.
-
I'm supposed to be the strong one, and I have
-
no weafort by my side. I'm in my house, though, and.
-
I began to be attacked by the enemy with no weapon.
-
What are you gonna do when the enemy comes in
-
like a flood and.
-
You have no weapon. I beg you to get equipped. Tonight,
-
I was sitting a bunk with the rubble of my
-
own ruins.
-
Hell.
-
That shook me when I realized my house was so vulnerable.
-
I reminded of the Screwdy Brothers. Yesse that he got the.
-
Holy Ghost and staid he was praying with brother Nathan
-
and his family because they had been attacked by the enemy.
-
They had been attacked by the enemy constantly.
-
And he pastor call for some spiritual people, and he realized,
-
who's gonna.
-
Catch a burden for my son's all right? Like he's
-
tacking for us a party for him. Who's gonna be letting.
-
The lord to go to the bedroom to night and
-
a sack and throwing up and get your partner to
-
pray for him? Who's gonna be letting the lord chockland
-
up and blocked in there until living on some cold floor.
-
It begins to bet God to.
-
Save their so this matter their so to lead on.
-
God bade us the head, which means we're the ones
-
that need to be leading our family right through the
-
battle as God leads us right. But without having the
-
Holy Ghost and God leading you, you're heading headlong into
-
a trap. You walk down off the wall without a
-
second thought thinking that you're gonna fix the problem.
-
But he chose to stand and stay with the sword
-
and just stay with his people and to fight for
-
the families that are in the wall. Children will fight
-
the way you fight.
-
When it comes to parenting, I try to parent my
-
parents my children the same.
-
Way that I was raised. I try to tell them
-
not to the same thing. Not try I knew.
-
Because I'm when it comes to this, I'm new to
-
raising my children. So I'm doing it the way I
-
saw to do it. Your children will worship the way
-
they see you worship. They will stand there the way
-
that you say you stand there. They will wield the sword.
-
And hold it the same way you hold it, whether
-
it be up in the air or in the scabbard.
-
Where's the placement of your sword? They just in their
-
go away, ready away, spit out a quick brief wonts
-
to the enemy? Come up?
-
You're around them more than anybody. They're watching your ador.
-
Every action, every action you make, will be the action
-
they take when they get older. Will you have the sword?
-
Or will they have a mind to fight? Or will
-
they be builders for those that sit them under the rubbing?
-
Right there in verse number fourteen, again rita with me.
-
It said, I looked rose up and set up to
-
the nobles, the rulers, and to the rest.
-
Of the people.
-
Send it to all of them, to the nobles. If
-
you're a preacher. If you're a pastor up, you're a
-
pure sinnery He rose up and said it to all
-
of them, and said, being out of pray, the Lord,
-
which was great and terrible, Remember the Lord, which is
-
great and terrible.
-
As you began to fight, remember the Lord which is
-
great and terrible. Remember who's on your sign. There's your
-
fight for your daughter, has your fights for your daughter.
-
That's your bite to your household. Remember who has your back.
-
Don't be wary and well doing Tark saying me and I.
-
Won't take him by foreigner. God on your side. What
-
have you to fear? The Lord is with you, Chark
-
saying a man, put your thoughts down.
-
Chart saying, Ame, who had just spared out within your
-
boat riding our shoes.
-
The good fighter shot a fight, but God has given
-
you to fight for. Don't turn loose real good almost.
-
First Samuel, Chapter thirty, First Samuel, Chapter thirty. We're going
-
to three other places, I believe here and.
-
It came to pass with David and his men come
-
to Zicklag on the third day that the anl heights
-
and invaded the south and Zicklag and smitten Zicklag and
-
burned it.
-
With fire, and had taken the women captain.
-
They ain't not with therein slew, not any either great,
-
either great or small, but carried them and went on
-
their ways.
-
So David and his men came into the city, and
-
behold it was burned.
-
With fire, and their wives, their sons, and their daughters
-
were taken Captain stripping down the verse six.
-
And David was greatly distressed, for the people.
-
Speak of stoning him, because the soul of the people
-
was grieved, every man for his son and for his daughters.
-
For David encouraged him himself and the lords number eight.
-
And David inquired at the lord, saying, shall I pursue
-
after the troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered, pursue, short,
-
sweet pursue.
-
Then he said, thou shall surely overtake them, and without
-
fail the color all. Can you imagine David and the
-
men as they come home and to find everything that
-
they have left.
-
Their families are.
-
Gone, their homes are burnt to the ground. No wonder
-
they fuck is stolen David, because their heart was grieved,
-
and that they wept until they had no more stream
-
the cool and were weak.
-
Because that would say go for what's gola. That would's
-
gonna tanga, That wouldn't have realized that what fault for?
-
It's gol. You gotta week, but you gotta get over
-
and they gotta go after him. Even go over a week,
-
you still got a battle of fighting. You still got
-
children of reason. David, remember it's God and was who
-
was on his side in one side he was fighting for.
-
And he began to encourage himself. He remembered how many
-
times the Lord had took care of him. He knew,
-
that is my children, this is my wife.
-
You may think that you're too weak to fight anymore
-
for what is yours, but remember the Lord is on
-
your side. God wolves, whatever God wants we do. Whatever
-
we lost, God will return. David said, shall we go
-
after it?
-
For what is ours?
-
Sounded like he still had a mind to fight. The
-
Lord said, go and without fail, you shall recover all?
-
And what happened?
-
They win? Did they lose everything? No, what God said
-
took place.
-
They recovered all. They recovered all everything that they were lacking.
-
They fouled everything that they were lacking.
-
It was just where the enemy had left it.
-
Not a thing of the harm, not a thing of
-
one of the harm.
-
They didn't sail, they were still there. They recovered it all.
-
Don't give us you shall be covering it all. If
-
God promised you that didn't be her, then I fight
-
for it. I don't care what the enemy says. He
-
said his dollar, it ain't worth fighting for. Fight.
-
It's gonna take a fight to get your promise. And
-
it's not because God don't really want you to have it.
-
It's because the devil don't want you to have it.
-
Mother Caven preached this morning about preserving your life. Brother,
-
it's time to fight for what you're preserving for your
-
children and your household.
-
It's time to put up for resistance and saying this
-
is my field, this is my land, this is my children.
-
I'm not gonna give over. I won't turn it over
-
because this is my inheritant. God give it to me,
-
and I won't turn it loose without a fight. That
-
they will tell you naked and there ain't nothing worth
-
fighting for, and he'll tell you not to join the fight.
-
But I tell you, grab your sort from out.
-
From under your bed, give me the ball that gets
-
your boo, whatever it is, and fight for a good fighting.
-
You gotta have a mind, to fight.
-
You gotta have the purpose and determined that come what may,
-
no matter the hindrances, God and the Holy goes to
-
fight God.
-
I need more than iron to fight.
-
God take my mind towards the fight. God give me
-
a hunger for the fight. God give me a storm
-
to clean. But God has given to you. You're gonna
-
keep it, but you're gonna fight for it.
-
If the enemy hasn't the children in here tonight right now,
-
the enemy don't have your parents fight.
-
For him, that they get what they need to stay
-
in to fight for their children.
-
Everyone of us jumped me in in here, well, sooner
-
or later probably become parents.
-
And you need to have the holdiggers. Yeah, come on,
-
it's important. I'm not saying you're gotta have the holgast
-
to go to him by no means, but I think
-
every leader.
-
This is my perspective, every headhold of the house should
-
have the holiers. I mean, that's just me. You don't
-
gotta take it for that. But I know for myself
-
then I felt like for my head hold, for me
-
to do it the way God wanted it to be done,
-
for me to fight the right battle, for me not
-
to be chasing.
-
Some racked off, trail off and through the lawyers, and
-
then the enemy come behind him because I didn't have the.
-
Leading of the lord, and to ambush me.
-
That's you can feel like prayer. Come and pray and
-
ask God to set your mind towards the fight, to
-
fight what is riding, and to have a mind to fight.
-
Long road, but I'm gonna make it home hotime. It's
-
a long long road, but I'm gone make it home
-
at time.
-
They don't do don't stopping.
-
We have done a baid of well it's a long
-
long I'm gonna make it all.
-
All time, rooting the long long road. But I'm going
-
to make it all all time.
-
I'm gonna stop me shop.
-
Well I started up for Jesus, selling every turn that
-
we'll say. He got behind me, trying to throw me
-
up the track his head.
-
It's a long long I'll never make it home all
-
the time.
-
Will it to long long, But I'm going to make
-
it hard long time. It's a lor long, but I'm
-
not gonna make you har all time.
-
He do devil, lot of stuffy under the name. Will
-
it alone, no.
-
Thaking whole long time?
-
Got all.
-
I'm gonna back home. They're gonna go, guys happy.
-
I'm gonna bay.
-
When I'm starting up for Jesus saying never well, turn back.
-
Don't say it got behind me.
-
To had to drop me off the tag.
-
He said, it's all.
-
No no, then you'll never make it a long time.
-
I said, take it behind me.
-
I'm gonna where turn.
-
But I'm gonna thank you, oh long time.
-
This turn all all love, stand up, cover.
-
Thak me for a hour. They don't have a lot
-
of stopping after the dag
