I appreciate the son in law you says, it's best
-

-
That's why you behaved.
-
I tell you that when I was raising our girls,
-
from the time they were old enough to understand anything
-
about church and God, and even before them, we pray, Lord,
-
you have a companion for them.
-
Lord, you know where they need to be and who
-
they even married.
-
I I feel in my heart that God uh brought
-
these both of my son in laws into my daughter's lives,
-
and I am so thankful. I still miss them, both
-
of them live and live course, live's ten hours from us.
-
Race is about three, and I miss them dearly. But
-
there's comfort in nowhere where they're moving from. Got a
-
good husband to take care of. Appreciate that, good churches
-
to go to, the good pastors. Both of my daughters
-
have good pastors.
-
And I appreciate your pastime and appreciate by my son
-
in law so much as well as my daughters are.
-

-
Don't get hear them sing much together anymore, but I
-
would appreciate them.

-
So you play to be here once again, out says
-
here and there the players about this morning, about the
-
Lord keeping me and helping me. At has to come
-
to me now, It said, it looks like the.
-
Lord to give me a hundred percent of recovery. And uh,
-
I thunna pretty much there, Uh praised.
-
God, thankful for that.
-
Things could have been a whole lot different, but God
-
had mercy. And I remember pastor how when I was
-
they were and I don't know if I told this
-
here or all, I can't remember, but I felt it
-
this morning when they had put me on I don't
-
know what you call that thing, that stretcher, and they
-
was wheeling me out, they had brought me, was taking
-
me through the thevesticuele of the church, and I remember
-
at that moment, if I've ever experienced a.
-
Panic attack, I believe that was the one and only
-
time that I had.
-
And I remember my heart beginning to race extremely fast,
-
and uh course I didn't need that on top of
-
the stroke that had was taking place or had tookn
-
place taking place, and uh just all kinds.
-
Of questions and uncertainties begin to flood my mind. You know,
-
when you're at really at dead store. And I didn't
-
realize that that you're at dead store when you're in
-
that situation. Doctor said that, and all these things begin
-
to go through my mind. First and foremost, I just
-
worried when I get to see my family again.
-
Worried about not getting to see my grand babies and
-
uh children and my wife.
-
Uh.
-
Then I was thinking, if I do live, I'm probably
-
gonna have problems. And you know, you've seen some.
-
Folks that's had strokes that right, uh just they come
-
completely uh unable to do anything for themselves.
-
And that fegure was in my mind and probably one
-
of the biggest things I reckon. I fought going out
-
that church. From the front door of that.
-
Church was the thought come in my mind, I will
-
never preach again. And uh, I tell you, I understand.
-
Without the Lord, none of us can do anything. Oh God,
-
And I know that I don't feel like i'm very much.
-
But God called me and uh, it's it's not it's
-
not a it's not a career for me, it's a calling.
-
And uh and I was thinking I may never preach again,
-
and that thing just disturbed me so much. And thinking
-
about all of that, my heart began to race.
-
And you know, just I I felt like just I was.
-
I can't explain anybody ever had a panic attacking for it.
-
I I can't explain it.
-
I mean, it was. It was terrible.
-
And brother, if God's ever spoke to me, he spoke
-
to me that night. And it wasn't anybody that was there.
-
It was the Lord spoke to me.
-
And I heard the words calm thing. And I failed
-
the touch of God because I laid his hand on
-
my chest.
-
I leave you.
-
Literally laid his hand on my chest and he said,
-
Tom damn brother. Immediately my heart rate brought with dad.
-
I began to relax and I believe God spoke peace
-
to me, and uh, you know I got to see
-
my family again.
-
Thank God.
-
Allo.
-
When I see that you'reful. Ride and mine come through
-
the hospital door. Man, I was so happy to see her.
-
My lady boy came with her, and I was so
-
glad to see him, and thank God. And you know,
-
the Lord's helped me and I've been able to pretty.
-
Much do for myself.
-
And on top of all of that, the Lord's allowed
-
me to preach again. Thank hey, man, I tell you,
-
if the Lord takes me home. Now, I had to say,
-
I've been blessed. I've been blessed, and I'm so thankful
-
for what God has done. I thank you for your
-
prayers because I know you prayed for us, and I
-
appreciate that.
-
So much.
-
Tonight, and man, if you have your Bibles, I want
-
to read uh in Genesis chapter number twenty two. Pray
-
for my voice and have a lot of trouble with
-
it for a long time. That maybe gonna help us here.
-
I Pastor had text me last night and told me
-
to be ready for tonight.
-
And I tried to pray and tried to find the
-
mind of the Lord about maybe what I would preach
-
tonight at the Lord will and I felt like he
-
dealt with my heart about.
-
These passage this passage of scripture.
-
Uh.
-
And it seems like things that were said this morning
-
in Sunday school, things that were said even Friday night, and.
-
And Pastor exhorting us this morning so wonderfully about being
-
an exhibited for Christ, and not not just.
-
A past dead exibit, but a living exiit.
-
Amen.
-
And it just goes along with what I feel like
-
the Lord has laid on my heart. And I'll try
-
to be brief as possible here tonight. I want to
-
read in Genesis chapter twenty two. Genesis chapter twenty two,
-
just for the sake of time for our texts, We're
-
gonna read.
-
The first.
-
And then a couple of verses here, But just just
-
fall along with me, if you will. Genesis twenty two.
-
And it came to pass after these things that God
-
did tempt Abraham and said them to him Abraham, and
-
he said, behold.
-
Here I am.
-
He said, take now thy son down, only son is
-
that whom thou.
-
Lovest, And give thee into the land of Mariah, and
-
offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of
-
the mountains, which I will tell the.
-
Will stop there. Notice what it says here.
-
And it came to pass after these things that God
-
did tempt Abraham.
-
That word literally means God tested Abraham. The Lord. Have
-
me here just for a little while, all the preacher
-
on why God tested Abraham. If you went past the
-
rich of Jesus on that morning and want to commends
-
you over work, you get.
-
On the same sway.
-
Actually put it through the nice excused everything.
-
Why God tested Abraham. The Bible tells us in the
-
Book of James chapter one. I believe verse twelve, blessed
-
is the man that endure temptation, but when he has tried,
-
he shall receive a crown of law.
-
Amen. He's got I'm not getting all that just right,
-
you know.
-
Scripture, and he says, let not man say with his
-
tempt that I am tempted of God, For God cannot
-
be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
-
I think I got that right. Didn't get right? Amen.
-
I don't believe that Genesis chapter twenty two is a
-
contradiction of James chapter one, verse thirteen.
-
Amen, God cannot be tempted.
-
With evil, which means that God has never been enticed
-
to be wrong. I know there's a group of people
-
that claim to be Christians and claim to be Oh
-
it is that would preach or.
-
Teach that Christ could have sein.
-
Amen.
-
And I know the Baba said he was tempted in
-
all points, like as we are.
-
But that ain't all he said. In that portion he said,
-
yet without sin.
-
It don't mean that he could have sinned, but it
-
means that it's impossible. It would have been impossible for
-
the son of God to sin. He Amen is Deity,
-
thank God.
-
And he could not have seen.
-
God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted any man
-
with evil.
-
Amen.
-
But in our text, I right answer to you where
-
the Bible says, and it came to pass after these
-
things that God did tempt Abraham.
-
As I've said already, that word tempt means to test.
-
You know along this way, as Christians, there's gonna be
-
some tests any man, there's gonna be some tests. And
-
if we've been listening to God and paying attention amen
-
to the pastor and the preaching of the Word of God,
-
and if we've been faithful to study the Word of God,
-
study those things we've heard preach from the pulpit, hide
-
them in our hearts, then we can pass the test.
-
Right.
-
But if we don't, we won't thank God.
-
Amen.
-
But God tested Abraham.
-
There's a reason for this tonight, that there's a part
-
is behind this test that Abraham went through. And I
-
really believe that we could probably say tonight that the
-
test that Abraham went through may not be exactly the.
-
Test we go through, but the purpose of the test
-
is the same.
-
Praise God.
-
I don't like test. To me, it's not pleasant.
-
It's not something that we enjoy, but it's necessary and
-
it makes us better. Praise God, and we should learn
-
from these things. Notice what this test was. God tested
-
Abraham and said to him Abraham. Abraham said, behold here
-
I am. And God said, take now thy son, thine
-
only son, Isaac, who thou lovest, and get thee into
-
the land of Mariah, and offer him therefore a burnt
-
offering upon one of the mountains, which I will tell
-
now this is that same acid that God spoke to
-
Abraham when he was I think seventy five years old,
-
and told him that from his scene with all.
-
The families of the earth he blessed.
-
It was at that time that his wife was there,
-
and Sarah was faring and kidnot their children they mat
-
him for twenty five years. Faith waited for the promise,
-
even trying to help God out in the process. Oh,
-
he to complicate things like we do sometimes, they like,
-
sometimes we try to hurry the hand of God and man,
-
and we don't need to hurt God's hand. He's got
-
a time, he said, God has a divine appointment. I'm believing,
-
praised God. Oh, but they waited for twenty five years.
-
And finally, after twenty five years, I believe that's right.
-
And God spoke to Abraham, had seventy five call him
-
out randomic commies, made a promise that he would multiplies
-
seen a man in twenty five years later, Isaac is born.
-
Abrahams I'm one hundred years old.
-
Sarah's ninety years old, haymen, and Isaac is bored.
-
This is that promised child. This is the one that
-
God promised the Amen, the child of promising. That promise
-
would be fulfilled through Isaac Amen.
-
And I don't know exactly how old he was.
-
I trying to look that up this afternoon, and some
-
say it was between the age of This actually happened
-
the age of thirteen and in thirty seven years old.
-
And this happened in the life of Isaac Amen.
-
I don't know how old he.
-
Was, hey, remember it happened around between those years apparently.
-
And the Bible said, God tells him, I want you
-
to take it, boy.
-
And notice, funny, whom thou willestou?
-
Abraham?
-
I know you love that boy. Why are you would
-
die for that boy? Heyn You're standing the way of harm.
-
For that boy.
-
And who thou take now thy son?
-
Thine only son, Isaac, who thou wills and offer him
-
there for a bird offering upon one of the mountains,
-
which I will tell the of. So I'm gonna say,
-
God is contradicting himself. Why would he required for Abraham
-
to slay his son? But I believe it's a spiritual
-
meaning here. I believe this is what Jesus spid in
-
move Tempter fourteen, when there with great multitudes with him,
-
and he turned and said, unto them, if any man
-
come to me and hate not his father and his mother,
-
and his wife, and his children, and his brethren and
-
his sisters, he hate in his own life. Also he
-
cannot be by disciples. And when they were following him
-
from former fishes, and the loads and the healings and
-
the benefits and the blessings. But Jesus turns to them
-
and said, and you're gonna come out to me, ay man,
-
You gotta ay man if you don't hate your father
-
and listen, he wasn't saying, hey, but that loves.
-
Me means and if you don't love him less.
-
Then you love me.
-
I hain't man, I at you say thank.
-
You either loved father or mother more than me.
-
It's not worthy of me. You heard of love son
-
or daughter more than me? It's not worthy of me.
-
He said, you.
-
Gotta love me most.
-
I've gotta be thirst and I've gotta beat form most.
-
Hey, man, in that place that I desire in your
-
heart cannot be challenged, not anything or anybody. He man
-
come to me and hate not his father and his
-
brother and his brethren, our wife and his children, and
-
his brethren and his sister.
-
Hey, here's where it really gets telling in his own life. Also,
-
he cannot be my disciple. And man, that don't seem
-
like sound like a naming claiming gospel to me.
-
That don't sound like a secularised prosperity gospel of me.
-
Oh No, he's.
-
Gonna be sacrifice. Heyman, there's gonna be commitment. There's gonna
-
miss some things. Hey man, that God's gonna require you,
-
that's gonna go against this flesh. That's gonna go against
-
what you want and want you dead. Oh yes, that's
-
what Jesus said. And I believe that's what God was Saturday, Abraham,
-
I know you love that boy, unless he asked the
-
one I made a promise that you would had.
-
But how much do you love me?
-
Abraham?
-
Oh?
-
Yeah, the off as they burn offringer.
-
But to me, amen, that was this.
-
And Abraham rose up early into the morning. He didn't delay,
-
he didn't put it off.
-
Like we knew.
-
When God said, ah, it's time to move, it's time
-
to do this, it's time to do that, we kind
-
of drag our feet.
-
Come on, man, you know what it is when we
-
get up early in the morning. You gotta go to work.
-
He's kind of drag ma'am.
-
You kind of look for a reason the prolong you
-
go to what I'm talking about. Hey, what Abraham did?
-
He rose up early in the morning, He.
-
Waved, the Bible said, and he sat on his eyes
-
and took two of his young men with him and
-
Isaaca's son, and claimed the wood for the burnt offering,
-
and rose up and went onto the place of which
-
God had told him of.
-
And the Bible said in verse four.
-
Then on the third day, Abraham lifted up his.
-
Eyes and saw the place so far off.
-
And it's saying, I'm believing that this same place, Mountain Mariah,
-
was the same place where Christ.
-
What mean is that right past her he would need
-
crucified something of what's.
-
Two times minion thousand made?
-
However wrong, it was many years later Christ would die
-
on that very same mountain.
-
Oh hell, that wasn't by accident.
-
That was by the mine.
-
And the Bible said he saw the place of war off.
-
And I cannot help but feel that even though there
-
was a love in Abraham's hearts, amen for young Isaac,
-
and he would here gladly laid himself down, he would
-
have gladly down.
-
In his stand.
-
But that's not what God said.
-
God said, whom Isaac.
-
We weard preaching many times there lives. There's something that
-
God is doing with us. Heymen, God's required of us,
-
but we have not yet sold out.
-
Ayman, no, listen, I'm not tu ask this.
-
I'm not trying to preach a pastoral message and on
-
my heart.
-
But Brother, that's ten times I'm pastored, and even as
-
a internal pastor, and I see folks and I'm a
-
love for God, but.
-
I see there's reservation. I see there's some days, Brother, holy.
-
To God's dealing with the heart about that they're not
-
quite willing to turn it looser and let it go or.
-
Kick it up or can't whatever the case may do
-
you Oh yes, And I wander tonight, is there Elizac
-
in your life?
-
And that is there a thing?
-
And I staling with your heart about but you just
-
can't seem to turn loose out?
-
Can I be honest tonight? I can't take the time
-
I really got to.
-
Him.
-
There's been some Isaac's in my life. God about can
-
I say this, you know, if you lose confidence in me.
-
I want to be transparent, maybe not too transparent, but
-
transparent enough for given.
-
Though, but I'm human too.
-
And they's been things even in recent days.
-
I say days, And he said, bunks Amen.
-
The God said, hey, this is what I expect of you,
-
and you need to improve in this area in your life,
-
and you need to do matter in this area and
-
you're no.
-
The only one.
-
Julia Paul said, I count not myself to an apprehended.
-
In other words, I have not made it yet. But
-
he said to what I do in the place, and said,
-
I keep under my body and bring it into some
-
hay that there's time, sir, this flesh don want to
-
do what Gone wants me to go.
-
I don't cow safe.
-
And sat the mind as Holy God's feels you are,
-
and that's gonna come.
-
Times in your life that you may now this flesh
-
to the cross said I didn't got a lad on
-
the art tod.
-
Jesus freed that prayer and said, nevertheless, if it be
-
possible to let this come pass from me, nevertheless, not as.
-
I will, but as thou Hilton.
-
We're gonna have to do that from time to time.
-
Amen. Oh yes, God said I won't. Isaac, he sees
-
the place. There's a fear. There's a hey man, there's
-
a dread, some one of my dread. Does that make
-
sense tonight? Even though he loved God with all his heart,
-
there was a dread. I'm gonna have to actually do this.
-
Verse five, and Abraham said, unto his young man, a
-
bye ye here with the ass and I and the
-
lad will go yonder and worship.
-
Oh, I like that. You've heard it many times, no doubt.
-
He didn't say, A and the lad's going yonder, and
-
I'm gonna swail on the altar.
-
I'm gonna offer a circle.
-
And I have said. He said, I and the ladder.
-
Are going yonder to worship. But the old brother, I
-
don't want what.
-
God expectsing me only to be a sacrifice. I wanted
-
to be a I want to have an attitude under worship. Better,
-
God expect something of me. I don't want to look
-
at him like why they're selling out to me. I
-
just want me to do anyone I want to down
-
sending their sending answer.
-
I'm allowing.
-
And he there's another.
-
Opportunity to worship God in my edding. The lad will
-
go yonder and worship. And look here this is faith,
-
and come again.
-
To you.
-
Now he was the only one that was pretty to
-
what God said, not even understood what was going on.
-
Fully, amen, the boss said. Abraham took the wood of
-
the burnt offering.
-
Lady upon Isaac's son.
-
He took the fire in his hand and a knife,
-
and they went, both of them together.
-
And Isaac, I like this.
-
You can always tell when.
-
There is a parent and that is trying to raise
-
their children and the fear and the admonition of the Lord,
-
because they don't ask the right questions. Hey man, this
-
question that Isaac asked is the reflection of a godly father.
-
Isaac spake to am Raham and his father and said,
-
my father, and he said, here am I my son.
-
And he said, behold the fire and the wood. But
-
where is the lamb for of earn authoring?
-
Why would he asked that? Because he's saying the first
-
time he went hand.
-
To hand with Daddy to the altar of God, we
-
had Russian team of the altar, prays God.
-
And I tell you, brother, how I want to know it?
-
Then that so when that time comes, got you to
-
ask me Christ is really God?
-
Gods?
-
The Super Bowl?
-
Wh is the last escala players?
-
The biggest issue ever? Called a b never much?
-
She would saying, Hey, Dad, what does it mean to
-
be saved?
-
How do I go to do that? Same? I want
-
you to ask her?
-
Right, Chris, I met even in this conversation the gardenness
-
of Abraham Listen exhibited.
-
Anything I like it, I'm gonna take it back, y'all.
-
Don't use anything today. Dan, I've do this before. And
-
I notice we're missing something.
-
And I can imagine as they're walking together, they're getting
-
closer to that place and nails. Especially after Ozazi says, hey, Dad,
-
where's the burn off? Where's he all right? I just
-
had to imagine that Abraham turned his head in the
-
other direction and looked on the other way.
-
Because there was tears running down his face.
-
God, Oh that was weeping.
-
Amen. And Abraham with it, without giving it away.
-
Simply said, heymen, my son God, we'll provide himself. You're
-
a sacrifice.
-
Amen.
-
Amen, God, We'll provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering.
-
God.
-
So they both up.
-
Them and went together.
-
Hey man, now we come.
-
Down to versnine. And they came to the place which
-
God had told him of.
-
Hey man, here it is.
-
There's no more tolay, there's no more putting this all.
-
There's no more Procrastina said Heaven.
-
Now it's time.
-
And I wonder, I wonder if God brought.
-
You to a place like that.
-
Hey, not for the preaching of the word of God.
-
Hain't been for the sun of school teaching. He make
-
for the ministry and pastor, has God brought.
-
You to that place?
-
Ain't the where It's now time to make a choice.
-
It's now time to.
-
Make a decision, a amy.
-
I'm preaching.
-
Simply hold, why God tested Abraham. They came to the place,
-
Abraham building all to there.
-
He laid the wood in order.
-
Hey, when I heard that message, mother said, Lord put
-
on heraes of home of stacking right in the firefall.
-
Everybody put the wood in order. And the Bible says,
-
let me read it again.
-
He built an altar in there, and he laid the
-
wood in order, and he bound Isaac, his son.
-
At this point, Now Isaac understands, oh, oh.
-
Amen.
-
And now I don't know exactly what happened here, Hey man,
-
there might have been a little a little bit of resistance,
-
but the Bible don't tell us that. But I mean,
-
he takes Isaac and he bunds him, and the Bible said,
-
he's lazy, hey man. He stretched he stretched forth, or
-
he laid him on the altar upon the wood, and
-
Abraham stretched.
-
Forth his hand.
-
Hey, those one said, he stradch forth his hand, and he.
-
Took the knife to slay his son.
-
I don't know if it was here or here, or
-
exactly where it was. But I do not read where
-
there was any hesitation. Hello, No, I don't read where
-
there was any procrastination. But he took forth his hand
-
and took the knife to slay his son. And in
-
the midst of that process, the Angel of the Lord
-
called out under him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham.
-
And he said, here am I praise God? Well, yeah, sir,
-
And he said, lay not down hand upon the lad
-
need do nout.
-
Anything under him.
-
For now I know that thou fearest God che let
-
us not without God, Son, that only son from me.
-
The first thing you want to talk to me about,
-
I will preach much longer. I don't think the first.
-
Reason why God tested Abraham. We saw that Abraham could
-
see how dedicated he was. How many believe here tonight?
-
God knows everything. Now, I know what the scripture saved.
-
But it was the Angel of the Lord, heymen, which
-
makes me believe it wasn't the Lord himself but a messagery,
-
divine messenger.
-
That's said.
-
Now I know that thou hast not been held down
-
son down, only son, Isaac.
-
Hey. Remember, I believe God knowing everything. God know him
-
again from the beginning. Heymen, brother, God knew Abraham.
-
Was gonna do it.
-
Amen, don't believe that, just like you knew Joe wasn't
-
feeling Joe would.
-
Give me a lest somebody to God do that, Amen,
-
so that Abraham could see you exactly how far he
-
was willing to go. I tell you there's many times,
-
and I say this to my own shame, that God
-
has expected.
-
Things of me and asked things of me.
-
And I found out I wasn't near as the dedicator
-
that sought out as I thought I was.
-
And I even that test really came. I found out, haymen, that.
-
I was not ready.
-
He said this, brother, Amen, Jeremiah seventeen.
-
Now the heart is deceitful above all things and disperately wicked.
-
Who can do it?
-
Now?
-
I already believe it.
-
He's talking about the heart of men we are saved
-
or not outside of the grace of God.
-
It's desperately wicked. Amen. It's deceitful above all things and
-
desperately wicked. Amen.
-
And who can know it?
-
Amen?
-
Oh, I know my heart, Preacher.
-
I love him with everything.
-
I die if I know my heart, Preacher, he no
-
matter what he asking me, Brother Cadom, I'm willing do
-
whatever he says. Has been time I said there and
-
it's net and in a revival service. So oh, in
-
this mining I was moving and a tremendous way. You
-
and I begin to make gods some promises.
-
Oh God, I'll never do that.
-
I'm gonna do that.
-
I'll do it this way from now older. And I
-
found out later on, hey man, that I wasn't nearly
-
as committed. I really mean what I said then, Oh,
-
when I wasn't.
-
On that spiritual high I found God.
-
So you've done that. I said, you've heard it, you've
-
seen it.
-
They still testified, I'll never do so and so and
-
this and this and that moment when God was blessing
-
him and they.
-
Slipped right back here the same thing though. Were they
-
insincere in what they said?
-
No, that were not.
-
They knew what they said. And so I may consist
-
to that God says this kind of tests so that.
-
We can see ourselves because God knows what we're gonna
-
do it right, And sometimes we think we know, But
-
when we don't past the test, and timely, when we
-
don't pass the test, Lord, you know that wasn't in
-
my heart to do that. But God loves me enough
-
to test me, and even when I fail, it's God's
-
way of showing me, Son, You're not where you need to.
-
Oh, yes, you remember the Lord told Simon Peter Satan
-
desired to.
-
Have you, that he may sit you as we without
-
pray for Thee that thy faith fell not with God converted.
-
Strengthen thy brethren. And notice what Peter said.
-
What me without converted it?
-
God?
-
I'm sold out because notice what he said next to Lord,
-
I am ready to go with THEE, both in the
-
prison and to death.
-
Now that he mean that?
-
Did Simon Peter mean that?
-
How believe you did?
-
I believe it was just as real as sincere as
-
he had ever.
-
Got in with the heart.
-
It's deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can
-
do it?
-
The Lord said, I tell Thee, Peter, the cop shall
-
not crow this day before thou shalt thrist.
-
Nah.
-
They don't know a steep, and I ready don't remind you.
-
Even after the Lord told him that, he just kept
-
on to not know.
-
No, no know, heymen, though I mean though I.
-
Die with you or be putting to death with the
-
eye'll never deny the Hey that oiens because he really
-
felt that way.
-
But when the test came, and I see when the
-
test came, man, and he found the testa.
-
And I believe when the Lord looked at him.
-
But hey, man, the Bible city turning looked at him,
-
I don't believe he saw eyes of hatred and and
-
in anger.
-
But I made the eyes of compassion in love.
-
And he was sent the sad.
-
See there, Peter, you it wasn't nearly where you thought
-
you should have been. And this testa, it's only to
-
revealed to you where you really are.
-
I tell you, brother, I want to.
-
See myself ask God says right.
-
Amen, God tested Abraham so that Abraham could see.
-
That's right now dedicated he was or was an obo.
-
But that's another reason. Amen, you got a picture all this.
-
You gotta imagine this.
-
After that night is coming down and the angel little
-
Lord stays the hand of Abraham he made in.
-
Isaac realizes I'm not gonna die, right, yeah, I'm gonna live.
-
Not only this is popoly, I'll look after all this.
-
Abraham looked back and he plumb sick, you know, walk,
-
I'm gonna.
-
I I was gonna right right.
-
Right, huh. And you know what, not only to Abraham,
-
see Isaac, Amen said, Dad was really gonna do that, right,
-
he was really, hey man, want to do that in
-
other words, not only to God test Abraham so that
-
Abraham can see how dedicated he was, but God test
-
in Abraham, so Isaac can see you I have guaranteed
-
and consecrated. It's Daddy was and brother as a pard.
-
Hey man, it's a great honor to be a pastor
-
and a preacher of the gospel. But there's no great
-
honorer than God in trust in us.
-
But sons and daughters, hey man. And the one thing
-
God wants, sister, well, it's name.
-
In such a way that our children.
-
Know that God is real, God is live, and all
-
this is live.
-
Rise and you agree with what was going on about.
-
There's one thing that he did not doubt. Then he
-
loves God more than he loves me.
-
And then that's when our children and they shilling right,
-
and we say.
-
Oh, not in my home, not in my house, not
-
in my room, and then we do it because we
-
love him. Yes, we want to spend in a lifetime
-
until ain't And.
-
Right, why don't we more than that?
-
We do it because we love God. I said, we
-
love God that we're wanting to be that sample. I said,
-
we're wanting to be that sample.
-
Now are children?
-
Now that's chaw Then what.
-
That a case? I want that contract Christ means. And
-
I say this with all due respect, I've said this.
-
I said, thank you so much. And you're blessed to
-
have a man to call the love you children enough
-
to teach the truth.
-
I'm God, all right.
-
They need more than a God wants, right. They need
-
more than a pastor, yes, sir, mother's a dedicated life. Amen.
-
They need a mom and a.
-
Dad that leaves are amen.
-
Oh, they need an example of faithfulness and dedication.
-
Heymen.
-
Oh yes, haymen, You moms and dancer ultimately will have
-
more influenza over there.
-
We are children.
-
Awaiting be taught the God or whether it be torn.
-
The man heave of a god.
-
Yester Abraham, Hey, my son, that Isaac can can go
-
what it means to be sold out to God? Body
-
train up a child in the weather, he should go.
-
Bro Daniel, you always done it right? Absolutely not? Have
-
you always been faithful? No, sir, I speak to myself right,
-
always been.
-
In my heart to do it right. Amen. Oh yeah, olmn,
-
praise God.
-
Oh yes.
-
Train up a child the greatest part of training.
-
It's not what they do wrong. We pull that belt off, brother,
-
were unlisten it and it comes out with the belt
-
straps and it makes.
-
That familiar said amen, and we begin to administer.
-
Yeah.
-
I want to say this right.
-
Corporals the capitals.
-
Amen. Because he that spirits his rod, you don't say.
-
That's for the child.
-
You know what he says to he is fead it off,
-
hate it.
-
It's son. And that's part of it.
-
Heymen, that disciplinary part of corporal persona. Heymember the most,
-
the most influential part of that scripture.
-
He's a trained up a child. That it show how
-
you want to be para lawyers.
-
Somehow, well you ought to be worshipers of God. So
-
you already ways of God. Show up how you already
-
so listen to the authority that God places over them,
-
show them how Sometimes a little Susie, little Johnny, it's
-
disobedient to mom and dad. You're not submitted to moment dad,
-
cause mam and dad ain't first of all submitted to God.
-
Right, and just manute to God. You won me so
-
many time many.
-
Woo boy?
-
Can I can I be honest with you? Hear it
-
out here a while back.
-
I'm i'm'nna get to that the details. But I was
-
worried about one of my children. I'm in trouble. He
-
may there were some things I was breaking my heart.
-
I'm riding down the road and I hope you don't
-
these companies. The man, I'm thinking about these things, and
-
my heart's grieved and I'm hurt. Amen, and God speaks
-
to me.
-
Yeah.
-
But the thing when he says, now, you see.
-
How I feel right when you do this right?
-
Well, I'm preaching slow to mine. It's different from it
-
this morning. But God tested Abraham, so that Isaacs right. God,
-
if we walk into no how we gotta show up.
-
We gotta give you. There's gotta be heads on trade.
-
We got shore.
-
And show that, Isaac. He said, one.
-
Generation shall praise Thy words unto another.
-
And shall declare Thy mighty acts.
-
There's no better way of declaring the mighty acts of
-
God than by living holy and sanctified and submitted to
-
to the word of God, the will of God.
-
Hein't ben the plan of God. Oh yeah, one generation
-
shall praise thou word.
-
Here's to another.
-
Lastly, then, and and you can say without a doubt,
-
Abraham knew you that day. Yeah, he was sold out.
-
Yeah he made his mistakes. He surely did, just like
-
you and I at that time. Have you ever once
-
in a while week?
-
And there was no doubt in Isaac's mine, No doubt
-
in Isaac's mine.
-
Daddy loves God right more than he loves me.
-
And I read over there in in in I think
-
it's Genesis twenty six, where where where Isaac was falling.
-
In the footsteps of Daddy.
-
There's three things that There's three things that I Abraham did, Hayman.
-
First of all, Amen, he built altars, and everywhere he
-
went he built altars. The next thing he did he
-
he he pitched tents. In other words, he said, this
-
world is not my home. Hey man, this is not
-
where I am put to stain. I'm just a pilgrim
-
and a stranger. And the third thing he did, he
-
dug wales.
-
And then in Genesis chapter twenty six, what do I
-
find Isaac doing?
-
Hey?
-
When I find Isaac building an altar, I find him
-
digging whales, cleaning out the whales.
-
And Devil stopped up and I found him pitching tents. Heymen,
-
he don know how I knew that. I'll tell you
-
how he knew how to do that, because he had
-
a dad god mother.
-
He he hello you, oh brother, I tell.
-
You I don't want to fail a test.
-
Amen.
-
Thank you.
-
But the third reason why God tested Abraham, and really
-
probably the most important. Do y'all remember the question that
-
Isaac asked, the wood the fire, but where is the helm?
-
And after all this transpirers and God stays his head.
-
The Bible says, Amen, he lifted up his eyes and looked,
-
and behold behind him.
-
A ram coat in the thicket by the horns.
-
And Abraham went and took the ram and offered him
-
for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
-
Amen.
-
The last reason why God tested Abraham, hey amen.
-
And I want to say it like this, and the
-
Lord allow me to you, so that the world would.
-
See the lambs. I tell that's nothing more imported as
-
a child of God.
-
That's nothing, nothing more imported as a blood bought son
-
or daughter of God, heymen.
-
Than nothing the world would see Jesus, heymen.
-
Lord, Yes, in the world, and see Jesus, hey man,
-
that we mean that ecented of Christ, Oh Hell, lo
-
Jah into.
-
A lost and dye world.
-
He up and be held a ram.
-
Called him the thinking all the messing of the old novel.
-
Is where is the lamb?
-
Where is the lamb coming? John the Bada seen it coming.
-
He said, Abe, look yonder, behold my Lamb of God,
-
God taken the white that seeing up the world. God, Amen,
-
lo one more, one more scripture to you. God tested
-
Abraham so that the whole world could see the lamb.
-
And this is what he meant in Hebrews eleven and seventeen.
-
By faith.
-
Abraham, when he was tried or tested, and noticing was
-
willing to off Risicah, it.
-
Says by faith Abraham, when he was tried offered up.
-
It was just as good as if.
-
The knife went into that boy. In the eyes of God,
-
it was just like he went. He went all the
-
way through me. He offered up Isaac. And he that
-
had received the promises offered up his only Begoden, son
-
of whom it was said that in Isaac shall I
-
see be called, accounting that God was able to raise
-
him up.
-
In other words, Abraham believe him.
-
I gotta go all the way through it there.
-
God's gonna race out, yeah, everywhere.
-
Gonna come back.
-
Yeah, told in young men.
-
Notice what he said, even from the dead, from whence
-
also hen seved him in a figure of This was
-
a foreshadow of Jesus, hey man, This was a message
-
in the Old Testament that there's coming today, that the
-
Lamb of God's.
-
Gonna come and he's gonna take away.
-
The sin of the world.
-
I thought about this today. I think it's in Matthew
-
where Jesuss and I, if I be lifted.
-
Up from the earth, will draw in.
-
And I believe, and I've always been told that that
-
what that means is he was if he would be lifted.
-
Up from the earth on the cross. And he was.
-
But this is a three four, A three died.
-
He was buried in the Bible saying that he is
-
seated in the lower parts of the earth. And on
-
the third day, after there was a revival, hey man,
-
and Abraham doesn't. On the third day he rose and
-
I and I be lifted up thrice lifted, heymen, he
-
was lifted up on the cross. He rose from the
-
dead on the third day. And not only that, hey,
-
nobody has sending back. He has sending back to.
-
The right hand of God.
-
And the Baba said, he ever liveth he ever live,
-
he ever live, to make the assessing.
-
For all about Hey man, he rose thrice.
-
Hamn on the cross from the dead, and he's sending
-
back to the Father.
-
And man.
-
Testing. God sends our way he knows, so that the
-
world can see Jesus.
-
There's no doubt I that that was a phenomenal s
-
I I I asked my mona sent its true heart.
-
What would you have.
-
Camp The chair used to pull the dictat and said, hey,
-
can you see me? I'd have stuttered or when I
-
started when.
-
I'm preaching you man, that they see something right right?
-
I tell you this equally is important. Brother, you won't
-
contact fresh story all that opportunities arise. Hey man, that
-
that test that comes, it is God's way of giving
-
you the ability to let.
-
The world see Jesus, that he would shine through the light.
-
I don't like the test.
-
I don't like what I'm going through, But I tell
-
you that's why. That's why the Bible says, and we
-
know that all things work together for good. Right to
-
them who love God. Aaymen, to be more than call
-
according to his purpose.
-
That's right, they been. Why did God test Abraham? Aymen?
-
I tell you I don't want it, and I know
-
I sound like a pro record, but I just I
-
just want you to get it.
-
So that Abraham can see how dedicated he was, that's right,
-
So that Isaac can see how dedicated.
-
That it was. So that the world could see Jesus
-
they could send a Lamba God and taken away the sins. Hey,
-
thank you back. I wondered tonight, would you like to pray?
-
When you talk about who have y'all? Would you like
-
to pray? Wouldn't you like to pass the test? Wouldn't
-
you like to pass the test? Hang it? Oh? God
-
help us here tonight?
-
Oh God, okay, oh.
