Of my heart. If you'll look with me to the
-
Book of Judges. May I direct your attention to the
-
second chapter and verses number eighteen and nineteen. Brother Nathaniel,
-
would you read Proverbs chapter number twenty nine and verse
-
number fifteen, And Brother Jesse, Exodus chapter number thirty two,
-
versus numbers point through ten. There will be some lengthy
-
reading while Brother Jesse is reading tonight. I want you
-
all to listen carefully to the words of what our
-
brother is reading to us tonight, Brother Nathaniel, the rod
-
and reproof give wisdom. When a child left to himself
-
bringeth his mother to s Have many of you believe that,
-
if it's the word of God, you ought to believe it,
-
a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
-
Let's look what happened when some children of God, who
-
had been under the leadership of Moses decided to take
-
matters into their own hands. Children at play brought Exodus
-
chapter number thirty two, verses one three, ten.
-
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come
-
down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves to
-
gather unto aaron and set unto him up.
-
Make us gods which shall go before us.
-
For as for this Moses, the man that brought us
-
up out of the land of Egypt, we want.
-
Not what has become of him. And Aaron said unto.
-
Them, break off the golden earrings which are in the
-
ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters.
-
And bring them to me. And all the people break
-
off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and
-
brought them unto Erin. And he received them at their
-
hand and.
-
Fashioned it with a graving tool, and he had made
-
it a molten calf.
-
And they said, these be.
-
The gods o Israel which brought thee up out of
-
the Egypt.
-
And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it.
-
And Aaron made proclamation and said, tomorrow is a feast
-
to the Lord. And they rose up early on tomorrow
-
and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings.
-
And the people sat down to eat and to drink,
-
and rose up to play, and rose up to play.
-
It was no time to play. I want to preach
-
a message. The Holy Ghost titled children at play. And
-
Sister Elizabeth, the Holy Ghost just brought this divine.
-
You to our wonderful daughter in law when I saw
-
that picture that come in of little Aida in that bonnet,
-
and she let us.
-
Know, popa Bema, we are praying for y'all. My soul
-
just flooded with joy. God has blessed us with some
-
beautiful daughter in laws. And as Sister Hawi said, they
-
are jewels. Let's stay for the reading of our gold intents. Judges,
-
Chapter number two, Verses number eighteen and nineteen. And when
-
the Lord raised them up, Judges, then the Lord was
-
with the judge. Let me read that again. Then the
-
Lord was with the judge. Should I read it again?
-
Then the Lord was with the judge, and delivered them
-
out of the hand of their enemies all the days
-
of the judge, and delivered them out of the hand
-
of their enemies all the days of the judge. For
-
repented the Lord because of their groanings, by reason of
-
them that oppressed them and vexed them. And it came
-
to pass when the Judge was dead, and they returned
-
and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other
-
gods to serve them and to bow down unto them.
-
They ceased not from their own doings nor from their
-
stubborn ways. The parallel text the cotext of this, as
-
Moses has gone up into the mountain to pray, not
-
many days after he has gone up into the mountain
-
to pray, that you'red of Israel begin to play. And
-
that's what God is telling these men here. You all
-
are not taking things as serious as you should. Let's pray,
-
Heavenly Father, we love it, we praise you. We thank
-
you for the opportunity to be in your house tonight.
-
I pray that you would annoy it this nice servant
-
set of God at my mouth. Help me to say
-
the things that you would have me to say, nothing
-
more or less annoying the ears of this thin people,
-
that they might hear what it is the Spirit of
-
God says unto the church tonight. May these sayings go
-
below the shoulders God, May the saturate the spirit, the soul,
-
the body.
-
God.
-
I pray that we were to see these words joyfully
-
we hear in heed, and we'd give you the praise
-
and honored and glory. May we depart this place joyfully
-
in Jesus' name. In the church said Amen, look at
-
your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, are you playing church
-
or have in church? Amen? Our text is found in
-
an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Look
-
of Judges, the Bible readers and students present to I
-
know this to be a biblical writing and a record
-
of men and women of valor who were raised up
-
by the Lord to deliver his people from their enemies.
-
After that they had played with sin and played amongst
-
the presence of sinners, and had company with sinners. Then
-
they would fall on their knees and enter a time
-
of repentance, and with brokenness, they would cry out unto
-
the Lord for mercy. I'm a God that is rich
-
in mercy and who has grace abundant, who would respond
-
with a remedy for their malady, and he would send
-
them a person again. He would send them a person
-
that would be raised up amongst their peers, that would
-
do the commands of God, and that would commit mighty
-
exports in the presence of their own people, in order
-
to bring deliverance to the people of God from the
-
hands of their enemies. By the strength of the Lord
-
alone and by the anortent of God, these men and
-
a woman were able to do great and mighty things.
-
Their acts were amazing. They do not pale in comparison.
-
One bent to the acts of the apostles. Those men
-
who had been empowered by the power of God above.
-
The sweet Holy ghosts had possessed them apostles, and they
-
had done many notable miracles in the presence of their
-
peers and contemporaries, because of the indubement and the empowerment
-
of the Holy Ghost. But when you cross the bridge
-
that is laid between Matthew and Malachin, and you venture
-
back into the book of Judges, and you look upon
-
these specially highly annoyed men of God, you will find
-
that they came in the name of the Lord. They
-
were not yet possessed by the Holy Ghost, as the
-
apostles were, but judges nameless. Samson, he was moved upon
-
by the power of God. And because he had been
-
moved upon, Brother Nathaniel, he was able to commit great
-
feats in the name of the Lord, things that were
-
considered to be support. God helped him make them possible.
-
How many of you know the Bible says it's in
-
Him we.
-
Live and move and have our being praise the Lord.
-
This means, by the grace of God, we have breath
-
and our body, and we have come into existence. It's
-
only by the goodness and the grace of God that
-
you have power in.
-
Those bulls, power to raise.
-
Up those arms and elevate those hands, power, pneumatic power
-
in those loans, in order to breathe in and out
-
the praises of God. How many of you know that
-
with every breath you pull over you in hell, you
-
ought to say.
-
G love in of God and times.
-
And when you exhale, you ought to say, well, that
-
came forth by the grace and the goodness of God.
-
No doubt that these men were recognizable not because of
-
their stature, not because of their natural street, but because
-
of their spiritual stature and their spiritual street. There is
-
no doubt at all during this time period that there
-
were men whose lives were touched by the hand of God.
-
When they were performing these mighty acts in the name
-
of the Lord, everybody knew. The figure of God can
-
be found to be present and working to these men's advantage,
-
just as the great Apostles who had traveled with Jesus.
-
After the empowerment and the amuvement of the Holy Ghost,
-
people would marvel, and they would say the explanation for
-
these exploitss. These men have been with Jesus, and these
-
men have been possessed.
-
By the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
On a regular basis. I pray these words, God, I
-
am not afraid at all to tell you to possess
-
me by the power of the Holy Ghost, take possession
-
over my bed. Let the Holy Gus come.
-
In and throw jear me howl out.
-
I want you to possess me. I don't want to
-
be possessed by any other thing, no other spirit at
-
all than that third part of the Godhead, that third person.
-
I want him to possess my bed, because if he
-
takes possession, he has taken controlling and if he's in control,
-
it will be to my advantage. The Bible said that
-
the spirit of God would move upon these Old Testament
-
judges and within these New Testament apostles, these memmoralspstals of claim.
-
They would be used by God to lead people into victories.
-
And if these men were leading people or come on,
-
then they must have been a leader. Sir. There's a
-
lot of people alive today that have authority issues. They
-
do not know how to properly respective people and positions
-
of authority both naturally and spiritually. We must conclude that
-
these great bit of God were leaders over God's people.
-
If they were judges, these men were leaders. There was
-
a time that a woman named Ever was deemed to
-
be a leader. It was the Early Church. There are
-
leaders of the Early Church, and today God has placed
-
certain people in your life that are to be your leaders,
-
not only spiritually but naturally. A lot of you work
-
with people that are perceived to be the leader of
-
that business, the company, or the organization wherein.
-
You are employed.
-
There are navy sailors tonight aboard a ship that the
-
United States Federal government has commissioned, and those soldiers are
-
subject to the leadership of the commander. I am told
-
it sometimes when you go out fishing, that you are
-
to be totally in subjection to the captain of that vessel.
-
I've been told even if you get a private fishing
-
charter boat and that captain takes you off shoulder, that
-
in that moment, everybody should understand that he is a
-
lie to do whatever he tells he needs to do
-
in order to keep every person aboard that vessel's safe insecure.
-
I want you to know that God had commissioned men
-
in the days of the churches that would rise up
-
among their peers of contemporaries, and they would do things
-
that ordinary men could not do because they had been
-
called and commissioned.
-
By the Lord of Glory.
-
That's why they were able to do the things that
-
they weren't doing. Sister, how well they were as spiritual
-
authorities in these people's life. In those days, there was
-
no king in Israel, and everybody was wanting to.
-
Do what was right in their all on the.
-
Side they wanted to go the way that they wanted
-
to go. The nation of Israel wasn't divided else and
-
it was sure not to stand. Literally, that house was
-
not beyond a foundation. It was built on the sand.
-
In the wilderness. They wondered, they've done whatever they wanted
-
to do. They wondered aimlessly through this life. But these
-
individuals would receive street and power.
-
For the Lord to tell these people.
-
Come together yourselves together, corect the sense of God.
-
The believers of Johome, and pull.
-
Him into the congregation. Nobody should be an outsider, nobody
-
should be tripped in a way in this meeting place
-
here where we are gathered together. And people would notice
-
that these individuals they received streets.
-
And power from the Lord who.
-
One time, when Moses came in to the company of
-
the people of God, they looked upon his messager and
-
the barber sitting his faith with his face was.
-
A glow with a glory of God.
-
They did not desire to see the face of God
-
as Moses had desired. And in fact, when they saw
-
and glorified face of Moses, they were not satisfied to
-
see you such a thing. In fact, it was disappointing
-
for them to see the signs of somebody and being
-
with God. There could be people in this field in
-
the night, and they faint tenser. There's nothing more than
-
a game.
-
But when they.
-
See somebody really to captivated by the prayersence of God,
-
and somebody gets tucked into.
-
The glory plied with God.
-
When that person comes down to the speaker from the
-
spiritual mountain, when they come down from the heights in
-
the summer time a sword and reached to brother the thrangled.
-
There's some people you'll look and say, I wish the use.
-
That glue, I wish that use that marry.
-
It's cute, ride them.
-
Alive, and we can't all be like that. We can't
-
all have that kind of an order.
-
Listen, you have never kidding. It's known as your ten
-
games in the saving things a hearing, so fill a mara,
-
God's Altromethan costails. You will never get.
-
To your auty if you're at home.
-
Twin of them his son. So you're a man of God.
-
He's climbing the mountain, Well, you will never get tall
-
him nothing a man of God now, and that's.
-
You too, were now to climb a mountain. I've done
-
somebody in this building a night.
-
There's still a child and playing. I said, your still
-
a child.
-
Way most people in.
-
The company, how the Israelites, whether it was in the
-
time of the Judges, or in the days of the Apostles,
-
or in the congregation about the horness Church, most people
-
would have said, there's a recognizable force at work. And
-
it cannot be the force of demons. It cannot be
-
the force of emotion and height. It cannot be the
-
force of adreadae, because the adreading and would not produce
-
such everlasting results as what has been produced. The dead
-
would not be raised and the cancers would not be cured.
-
Brother Philip's case is not the first case of cancer
-
being cured had to beck a hornless church. How much
-
you to know, Nord, is it to last the case
-
that our Lord will take up and perform a lunless
-
leader and miraculously concerned. There was a divine force operating
-
in a life of Sensing. There was a divine course
-
operating in a life of Moses. There was a divine
-
force operating in a life for m Giddy and Peter,
-
change John and Paul. And I'm want asking you deny.
-
Are you who will it to Paul in line as
-
jossing it in behind Moses? And are you willing to
-
following in line as elcedear Elizah. It's a side, really,
-
I followed a man. He's a really design in your
-
heart to see the blessing. We're getting a lot.
-
Uncle Grandpa, hold the man.
-
I wonder how many times Eliza recap and give it
-
a little tug and ask God give it to me,
-
and listen. God does not give you anything you knew,
-
not desire. He said, if you want it, to seek.
-
It, if if you let it off, it to knock you.
-
See. While Moses was in the mountain, Joshua was with
-
an earshot Joshua was nearby. It wasn't only that he
-
was provided security for the national leader of the Israelites
-
name and meek shepherd Pastor Moses. It wasn't that he
-
was provided personal security only. It wasn't that he wasn't
-
only it wasn't that he was guarding him from the
-
sheep had come on the bears of the goatza or
-
any type of creature. How many of you have ever
-
s them big rams, them sheep that had them big
-
horns on them, and one blow in the back of
-
Moses would have been crippling.
-
If one of them rams.
-
Had to wear it up on their hind lensl and
-
bury them horns up in the back of Moses. It
-
would have been crippling. If when donkey had a bunk,
-
if one horse had a reared up and come down
-
on Moses and come on. Joshua was not only protecting
-
Moses from bodily harm. Joshua must putting one punter who
-
rat when Moses had put years? And what about two
-
little children they put their feet in the put prince
-
a mom and daddy. What a great general Joshua was,
-
But he was not ashamed of a spiritual leader this generation.
-
They don't like the idea of putting the punter in
-
the putstep of another rod. They don't like the idea
-
of being subject.
-
To spiritual AFFI till I tell.
-
You, without subjection to spiritual acardy, there will not be
-
spiritual development, I said, without subjection to spiritual acarity, there
-
will not be spiritual development. That day, the apostle Paul
-
showed up to school in con may your schoolhouse. He
-
did not stand in the back corner with his arms
-
crossed her.
-
He got down at the feeta of.
-
A great chameleon.
-
An apostle Paul school.
-
Himself and the learning what you days of it. I
-
want you to know to talent samples for people in
-
this building, and showed you how to seat.
-
Dater and showed you how to time about.
-
It, and show you how to do what you need
-
to do.
-
Why Holy, why have you not known?
-
But it's a spiritual learning disability. I said that it's
-
a spiritual learning stability. By the unwillingness to do what
-
stunts your party said. Paul no doubt became a superstar
-
within the religion of Judaism. In fact, he was count
-
and faithful by the Sanhedrin before the apostles considered him
-
to be faithful in the ministry of Jesus. The truth
-
of the matter is the Lord you. He was a
-
faithful man, had little things as well as big things
-
before he stole them from the Sanhedrin's team. How sad
-
when Jesus started stealing them. He started taking the matter
-
change and John's father's fishing boat. He stole James's boys.
-
Come on, then he went in there and stole one
-
of the recruits of the Roman Empire. He walked in
-
there and put Matthew the breech buider between the Old
-
and the New Testament, the world that would have story.
-
That's all.
-
Come on, I'm telling you. These men have been continued
-
to send it to Fiza of things that were greater,
-
and they developed to name Matury. But it's a sad
-
thing to think that I'm being like her and could
-
be considered to be the best speaker. And to Moses said,
-
I need some man that's a better orator. I need
-
somebody that can say the sentence was a little bit
-
better than God's city married. But when it come time
-
to stand for Truda.
-
Who didn't come time to tell what God.
-
Said that man was unable to stand there and killing rock.
-
I want you to know it was Moses's brother that
-
Moses proceeded to be a natural or a leader or
-
a natural board speaker, and it was nothing. We're a
-
call at a lead the people of God. Listen that
-
just because you're a preacher, a self called momasey preacher,
-
doesn't make you pastor material. I see these preachers that
-
come from Bethel. They don't get the preacher of the
-
period of two months. They pretty soon they're trying to
-
pave out of course in a path or ministry. I'll
-
tell you where ministries to begin. Ministry opportunities developed and
-
evolve in little towns. They show up in nursing homes.
-
They present themselves on street colders. My soul was bested
-
today as I saw a ministry team from the Mother
-
Holy this church in the highways and the hedges compelling
-
in the comea Isn't it ironic then Aaron did not
-
feel the need to go to prayer meeting. Isn't it ironic?
-
Then Air didn't feel the need to go halfway up
-
the mountain? There? Isn't it ironic that Aaron didn't feel
-
the need to protect little brother. Those people come to
-
Erin and they said, hey, Moses is gold. We ever
-
seen him for a good while. And you know what,
-
brother Philip Aaron said, The solution is this. See that
-
gold in your ears, see them jewels in your nostrils,
-
see them change around your neck. Pluck all of that off. Oh,
-
come on, camelon teaching what thus said the word of God.
-
If they're not supposed to be dressing like a pagan,
-
just go ahead and tell them they're not supposed to
-
be dressing and like a pagan, go and tell them
-
they nothing to for.
-
One time of day.
-
And when they left for the spall of Egypt, the
-
Jewols should have been on their sandals, I said, the
-
Jols should have been on their camels, on their sandals,
-
and on their nk. It's not on the person. There's
-
some preachers. They're looking for a way to preach holding,
-
they're looking for a way to take a stam. I'm
-
wonna go about it this way. I'm gonna be diplomatic.
-
And whenever you start towing around feelings and you start
-
exercising spiritual authority to assume you try to give somebody
-
a reason for why they shouldn't have that on them.
-
And er, you know, he said, you know, just might
-
as well take all that off anyway. It doesn't mean
-
anything to you. That's what it's demonstrating. It's worthless. But
-
then brother Nathaniel, he puts it in the fire. They
-
had the men that was supposed to fash some things
-
and furniture that goes in the house of God. They
-
start holing out to a Cathic can't even say mood.
-
I see preachers, they look departure and they can't even move.
-
I see teachers they ain't looked the party.
-
They can't even preach. I'm telling you, come home. I'm
-
not going to.
-
Men idolatry in the hush of God. If they can't
-
speak the words of God, it don't got a cold
-
against my oldly. It can look upon only he They
-
claim to be a spiritual body only, but they can't
-
show wild I said it.
-
They can't show wid they had to be there. Then
-
they're not behad.
-
I'm not aligated to sit in the congregation of the
-
unrighteous while they're passion idols of their own hands. Can
-
you imagine compromising charismatic great speaking aaron with eloquency he
-
fashions the right words and the right sentences phrase all that.
-
He's perfect. These oratorical skills are second to nobody. And
-
he's telling them basically, that silly cap right there, Or
-
it's what brought you out of Egypt, the jewels of
-
the egypsums, that's what brought you out of Egypt. You
-
realize what they say, the cause every little boy a
-
little g her mos. Danny Mama was wearing my tears
-
in that idol only yesterday. Oh, come on, we're not
-
going this, I'm telling somebody. Didn't they spell that we've
-
got a.
-
God that is a love and the Bible said the signs.
-
Follow up the believers. So I ain't gonna worship a
-
cow that can't even grow hair. I ain't gonna worship
-
a cow that can't produce me o God. I'm not
-
gonna worship a cow that ain't got a long tongue
-
that I can make tacos out of. I'm not gonna
-
worship a cow that can't grow horns. I'm not gonna
-
worship a cow that can't provide a porner house. But
-
you know about that great preacher Aaron did he'd lied
-
to him and you know lot about six hundred thousand
-
to a million people they got around and they started
-
playing church. You showed up here because you said you.
-
Were tired of the playing church. You were tired of somebody.
-
Having afformer of godiness, but not in the power.
-
You are kind of seeing youth group, not to youth group.
-
Byside the chances of things happen here. You're retired to
-
somebody get let a keyboard and powering out she inf
-
and genius seeing the planes chorus holding the loisa, the
-
young people. You were tired, they're playing at church. These
-
individuals such as Moses and the apostle Paul, they received
-
strength and power from the Lord. There was a divine
-
force operating in and through these mortal beings. How many
-
here be called the commission of Moses, who called him Mama.
-
No Jacob was nowhere? Who sent him wife? No Miriam
-
wasn't too fond of his selection and choice of wife.
-
But you know what God showed Miss Merriam, what he
-
thought of her being outspoken concerning Moses's selection am answer.
-
Who called Moses the God of heaven, who called Sampson
-
the God of heaven earth, who called Paul that Himan.
-
A calling came forth from alive that show him better
-
than the noonday sun. Hey, brother, Nathaniel, the God of
-
Him and and Earth called this man Moses out of
-
a burning bush. God commissioned Moses to lead God's people
-
out of Egypt to the Promised Land. And I can't
-
believe it, by the jest that six hundred thousand to
-
a million people would be undecided as to whether not
-
to God sent Moses, as to whether not God commission
-
him to see their house, or as to whether or
-
not God was using their help to bring them out
-
of Egypt. Oh, not everybody was like Miriam singing in
-
the high praises of Moses. Not everybody was like Joshua.
-
Were willing to follow him.
-
But can I tell you the foolish person's unwillingness to
-
commit to the journey, the foolish person of willingness to
-
submit to authority is not cashade of Moses. Somebody has
-
been in a part of Butcher. You can't cashade hold
-
a man of such experience who they're coming.
-
They go, they say, this is exactly what we need,
-
This is exactly where we need to be.
-
Ho It'll walk away and say who made Moses our charge,
-
commission Moses to tell me this, Who gave him permission to.
-
Teach to me like that.
-
The truth is, God allows us to be fools. I'm
-
not calling any man a fool, I said. The truth is,
-
God allows us to make our own foolish choices. God
-
allows us to be fools. Who would question the commission
-
of Moses? Who would question whether or not Samson had,
-
by the power of God done many notable things and
-
great etch voids? Who would ask for an explanation when
-
everybody knows the reason is the anointing is present. It's
-
the anointing that destroys the yth the tree is full
-
of fruit. I'll tell you only a foolish person, that
-
is stubborn, who refuses to submit this spiritual authority, who
-
question the experience and the exploits and the commission of
-
such men. Moses's commission and calling was made sure that
-
day that the pledge began in the nation of Egypt.
-
That man's commission and calling was made sure again whenever
-
the Red Sea parted and congeled on both sides, when
-
the little children of isheaw and I'm talking about the
-
little boys and the little girls walked through.
-
That dry seabed and said, Mama, I'm not even getting
-
mud on my feet.
-
Mama, I am not getting mud on my feet. This
-
is a seabed, I said, I'm not even tripping over seashells.
-
Come on, you never heard anybody say that. That's God
-
given it to me. Right now, If the marine life
-
it's in the conjailed walls of the sea, I believe
-
the mollusca, I believe the clam. I believe the oyster.
-
That any other shellfisher was hanging out hold the franchise
-
of the conjiled sea as well off that was just
-
stretching hand toward him, brother staring is hard to believe
-
other people that possibly could have poked a finger in
-
the congealed sea. Right. God's the inventor of stuffed jell
-
o Hey cheerios. That was a big deal when they
-
started selling us little little letters, little O's mocha. That
-
was a big development. When it dawned on somebody, we
-
can sell letters, what about spaghettios? And they started selling
-
pasta in the shape of letters of the alphabet. And
-
then they started putting little fruit bites in our yellow cups.
-
How many of y'all remember that. I remember when they
-
started putting oreos in ice cream and called it cookies
-
and cream. I remember when the blizzard became a thing
-
at Dairy Queen. I remember, I remember very well when
-
frost what's it called in McDonald's doing the mcflurry. I
-
remember when they brought the mcflurry out. I remember going
-
and getting that stuff, soft served ice cream, stuff full
-
of oreos. Hey what about them little kids going by
-
that congeled sea and saying, look right there, there's an
-
octopus looking at us. Hey, there's a lot of ocean
-
of creatures that are territorial. There's a lot of them
-
that had cross boundaries that day that wanted to get
-
back to their territory and back to their place. But
-
whenever they tried to swim into that they congail line.
-
But in Nathanior it was impenetrable. I wonder how many
-
sharks went home that day were a sore nose. I
-
wonder how many octopuses pap to actor that conjail well,
-
come on to how many little children looked and said,
-
look at that, well looking at me, look at that?
-
How I'm telling you, I feel the preacher hiding this
-
trace to night, and to think that there was somebody,
-
says a howl, that was walking through their question of mode.
-
As long as it ain't blood, whatever just came up.
-
As long as it ain't blood, we're good, Amen, Praise
-
the Lord. I did a blood yet came in. I
-
ain't coughing up blood. Praise the Lord. Amen. I feel
-
I ap preach it to you if you want to
-
tear you just a little while longer. Amen, it's hard
-
for me to believe.
-
Brother.
-
The thing is that somebody can be walking through something
-
like that, Sister Howell, only a handful are willing to
-
say that's God's man, that's God's man. You know, there's
-
a many of them trying to explain the miracle of
-
Teresa Wallas. They're trying to explain it away, is what
-
they're trying to do, as man I will, trying to
-
explain their way a miracle of Philip Powell. I said
-
at this point, I ain't got nothing to do with it,
-
nor do you you know who's not ever trying to
-
do with it. The Holy Ghost of Heaven has everything
-
in the world to do with it. And that should
-
God start for people of God strange at all, but
-
what we should dine strange is when somebody questions the
-
commission and the calling and the exploits.
-
Of our gods.
-
People, well, remember Jenesip Chambers finally got to the place
-
they were willing to withstand Moses. Who made Moses the
-
judge over such a people. We can be a judge
-
just like Moses. I'm the priest of my house. I
-
can leave my family. I can part my family in
-
my living room, and I can preach.
-
In such a way.
-
That it will help my family and it will drive
-
back our enemies.
-
Oh no, you can.
-
We'll just pull up steak and we'll go find somewhere
-
else to have church. There is a lot of people
-
today having churches in their homes, having church gatherings in
-
their little buildings that they call church buildings. There are people,
-
and I'm not against them, but we must be honest.
-
All they are doing they're playing church.
-
They go to the same.
-
Little storefront for years. I was in a storefront for
-
years as well. And I'll tell you after about a decade.
-
You want to be outgrowing something as you're bringing forth
-
fruit in this remaining. Your children ought to be able
-
to very good. Your grandchildren ought to be able to
-
out rule that storefront, or somebody should have been preached
-
too on the street, or somebody should have been reached
-
in that county hill, or somebody should have been reaching
-
that homeless ministry, or you should have reached out till God.
-
Sent them in.
-
There should have been something taking place. The truth is,
-
they like they lock together and little places that stand
-
behind what they call their secret desk. They like to
-
open up their Bible and their notebook, and they like
-
to hear themself preach. Should I get personal and preach
-
to y'all tonight? Should I answer some questions for y'all tonight?
-
The truth is some of these guys just to like
-
to hear themselves preach. They're just talking up the bid
-
to get to be seen in a camp meeting. While
-
some of us do what we can to avoid preaching
-
our camp meeting, some of us realize we've got our
-
work cut out for us and doing what God has
-
told us to do within our own circle of influence
-
and within our old ministries. The truth is, some of
-
those guys just like going to churches that they can
-
barely keep the doors open. It They like just barely
-
being able to cover the Hill utilities bill whe because
-
they like to walk to that pulpit with a Bible
-
and a notebook under their arm, and they like to
-
hear themselves preach, and they like for four or five people,
-
or maybe ten or twelve to hear them preach. The
-
truth is some of them just like to preach. I'll
-
tell you how good they like to preach. They could
-
have a starving church as starving spiritually, and they can
-
tell me something like this, we're having revival. I heard
-
it for years by one young preacher who has supposedly
-
been pastoring now for twenty years. I think it was
-
brother Aaron Wood told me the last he heard, they're
-
running a little over ten on a good day. And
-
some of them that used to go there now they're
-
no longer interested in going to church because they're afraid
-
of crowds and they're afraid of sickness that people might have. Hey,
-
the last time I checked, a church's got ten, twelve,
-
twenty or thirty people in It is not crowded unless
-
it's a little hole in the wall. The truth is
-
probably some of them people sick and tired of hearing
-
them preach. We're their preaching the same thing, Adam tell
-
me before we broke out in revival, because they heard
-
themselves preach good one time, a message that they got
-
out of a sermon book, or a thought that they
-
got from the coworker on the job, or they got
-
inspired from something written on a billboard. And they go
-
that morning and have a little extra wind from me
-
too many chili beans the night before. They got a
-
little bit of energy from eating to chocolate cake for
-
breakfast and drinking the red bull before church. And they
-
get good and sweaty, and they walk the sweat off
-
their brow and they say, man, I preach good today. Bishop,
-
I preached good day. Bishop. I said, you did, said
-
I sure did. We've broken the revival and I said,
-
who's preaching?
-
And I am?
-
I said how long is the revival going? Until God
-
says stop? And after one or two nights, I say,
-
how's little revival going? Are we into Tuesday night? I said,
-
why did you end Tuesday night?
-
Will?
-
I was preached out and give out. But the next
-
Sunday they come in to play church, old bless God child,
-
we're here this morning to have church. Hey, we're going
-
to preach on monkeys. See nurkeydo and the copraditions thinking
-
I've heard that message two or three times, and here
-
to the last decade, I'm telling you we've got to
-
lose that desire to play church. Let the church be
-
the church, and let the church have church. Who's preaching
-
that revival that I am a year later? Who's preaching
-
that revival? Pastor? I am a year later? Who's preaching
-
at revival? I am a year later? Who's preaching at revival?
-
I am? The truth is some people like to hear
-
themselves talk. The truth is some people like to pretend
-
to be leaders. When my kids were little, sister, how
-
sister would remember this, we would go into the back
-
of that church that we were written for one thousand
-
dollars a month, and we would have a wonderful fellowship.
-
And after about an hour and a half, a brother
-
Stanley Jean Wooton running his mouth and be running my mouth,
-
and our brods sitting over there, and you bring us
-
and laughing at our simple, simple jokes and our friendship. Hey,
-
brother Jesse, we'd hear the young people in that sanctual
-
where in having church. I'm talking about eight year olds
-
through the age of thirteen, and we would pull back
-
the curtain. You remember that, Sister mouton and we would
-
all stick our heads in there, and we would watch
-
Brother Nathaniel run pews. We would watch Brother Jesse run us.
-
We'd see Brother Philip marching across the front of the
-
church and brother stared at. We'd see brother saying nor
-
doing in the world wind and the windmill at the
-
same time. And them little girls that were part of
-
the church at that time that acted like they were
-
too afraid the priest, the Lord. You're a regular.
-
So when the church was having church and acted like
-
they were oblibu to the English language and acted like
-
they can't have their tongue, and I acted like they
-
didn't know how to raise their hands.
-
Or Sister whom you would remember their children like a ballerina.
-
You would remember them going up and down and swaying
-
at whatever it was.
-
It was not the spirit of God.
-
I don't guess they were playing church. After a while,
-
I'd see Brother Jesse get behind the poopit or one
-
of the other young men and they would get fired
-
up and they would preach and they would slap the
-
pool pit time. And I'm telling you, the chuggler paint
-
went bunch. They would turn red to the face and
-
they would preaching. People were going off for shouting. Who
-
are you talking about? I'm talking about eight ten and
-
twelve year old the Ott girls. What must be on
-
Jesse teaching? If you don't praise God, the do not
-
go to hell? It doesn't sound like something to shout
-
about to me, but your own not. They were only
-
playing church.
-
How glad the stopped playing church tonight. That's the church.
-
Don here, hey w the church howsat.
-
They are not charge?
-
Sister Rachel said a lot of times in that back room.
-
She here Sister Rebecca and Sister Renee in there shouting
-
and praise of the Lord, find God. I believe it.
-
I know.
-
The first time I got annoyed was at the age
-
of ten. I close the bedroom noor, and Brother Jessee
-
by myself, I opened to the book of First and
-
Second Samuel and started reading in the spirit of God
-
I'm talking about descended upon me. He had not yet
-
taken position, but I remember preaching with an oction. I
-
remember getting annoyed, and Brother Nathaniel, I've taken preaching seriously
-
ever since then. I see it as more than an
-
opportunity for an auctioneer's cadence. I see it more than
-
an opportunity to display the eloquent speech of oratorical ability.
-
I see it as an opportunity to demonstrate the power
-
of God. I'm telling some young men in this building tonight,
-
it's time you stop being children at play in the
-
house of God, in this thing we call life and develops.
-
You're true and be the church. These leaders were empowered
-
to carry out the will of God. Who would question
-
such confirmed spiritual authorities, dumbbos foolish people. It's hard to
-
believe that there was some questioning the motives in the
-
ministry of meek mile Moses. In fact, he was so
-
meek and mildly temporary manner that when he got back
-
after Aaron felt miserably as a pastor, And all of
-
a sudden he said, grime that idle up to powder
-
and spread those powder assustances upon this body of water.
-
Now all of you get on your knees and hands
-
and dream it up, drink it up. It doesn't take
-
a rocket scientists to know what goes in goes out.
-
Moses was showing on the power of that gold, showing
-
them the power of the idol and you know whats
-
the woman who doesn't matter what kind of manifestations are
-
on display, what kind of power is on display, if
-
it's the judges of Israel, the apostles of Jesus, or
-
the Apostle Paul himself raising the dead. The truth is
-
there's going to be foolish people question that a party.
-
I've heard it sat for years. You can't think stupid.
-
I've heard of good spiritual women before being bound to
-
a spiritual fool a spiritual foolish man who questions the
-
extraordinary facts of the undeniable and the unexplainable, but will
-
sit there and deny. I don't know whether or not
-
we're in the will of God or not. I don't
-
know if we're where we ought to be or not.
-
I'm not thoroughly yet convinced. And then when miracles happened,
-
attempt to explain them away. Now I don't want to
-
lie either. Could be the possibility is something else happened.
-
That's somebody underminded. Listen, when Samson jerks the Philistine gains
-
off the hinges and he lays them at defeat of
-
Philistine lords, or he carries him up. The healer does
-
whatever he wants to do with her? How do you
-
question that? It takes a fool to be an eye
-
witness of such things as that, and to look at
-
the results and say, how did that happen? It wasn't
-
a tornado. If it was a tornado, it was a
-
tornado named Sampson. Not all these people questioned these great
-
men of God, these spiritual leaders, but some did. The
-
fact of the matter is, brothers, there at some people
-
are as foolish as Nabel the Carmelite was. After King
-
David and his men protected Nabel and his herding from
-
the enemy on a certain day, how many of y'all
-
familiar with that story. David and his men were fleeing
-
from the presence of King Saul. And while in flight,
-
they came upon the big the big homestead and the
-
farm of the successful, rich businessmen, the entrepreneur Nabel. And
-
while they spent time in the fields of Nabel the
-
Carmelitus brother Jesse, David and his men they protected the
-
fields and the herds and the flocks of Nabel for free.
-
Then on a certain day David came with his irvids
-
has said, could you ask Nabel if he'd give us
-
a little something to eat, if he'd be a blessing
-
to us. We protected his flocks and his hurbband. We've
-
been good to him. And you know what, Nabel said,
-
Hi and hearty and an arrogant spirit. He said, who
-
is David? Who is David? Who is David? Who is just?
-
They'll say? Who is Essey? Who is Nathaniel? Who is Rick?
-
Who is Methia? Who is a hold in his church?
-
What is it?
-
Who is it? Who is Philip? Who is that young
-
man that gives such a testimony? Who is Teresa?
-
Who is David?
-
I'm feeling it right now, brother Nathaniel. Who is David?
-
Dabel said, as though David was nobody and a Bible said.
-
When their messengers come back and told David what foolish
-
mable said? Who he is? Deep? David rose up, said,
-
sad on the horses, boy, and will show him who
-
is David. So you don't pick a fight with a
-
giant slayer. You don't pick a fight with a man
-
that's running graciously for the King of Israel saithing because
-
he doesn't want to slay him. You don't pick a
-
fight with a man that can camp out with the
-
enemies camp while they fly from his own king. But
-
a foolish man does I tell you what we're gonna do. Honey,
-
We're gonna stay at home. I'm a preacher, and we're
-
gonna have the devotions. Who is Jeremy? They despise leadership,
-
They're not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Who is David?
-
I'll tell you who David is? The anointed of God
-
to want that, Samuel shuddered, and tell the Princess of God,
-
so lately has he emptied that bottle of all the
-
hornibals upon the bell of Davy, Sister Wood, It takes
-
a very foolish woman. Did not see through the foolishness
-
of Mabel. And the almost said that when the messengers
-
of Mabel came into the house, Nabel was too busy
-
to listen to the reports of the couriers. And Abigail
-
she heard him out, and the courier said, I want
-
you to know, mister, hardhearted means spirited. Cold heart cut
-
Neighbel's words, cut David to the core right, And that
-
dust you see on the horizon is David and his
-
body men come in the slave neighbor, and Abigail filled
-
her basketful of goodies, and she were and I tell
-
him eat, David, And she said, my lord, my lord,
-
thou knowest that my husband's a churlish, courlish man. Thou
-
knowest that my husbands are very foolish men. Now knowest
-
that my husband's a stupid idiot. Thou lost that my
-
husband doesn't have my kids that's interested by him. Oh,
-
and she said, David, have mercy, And David said, because
-
of you, wise hearted Abigail? Was that her name Abigail,
-
David's smart's wife. Now as pretty as that, as wise
-
as Oh, Mama, Abigail, come over to David brother, I'm
-
a feeling anointing of God. Might be weak your body,
-
but I'm a feeling amarted of God. And David turned
-
that horse around and gave him a kick to the
-
flank and said, and the horses galloped back in an
-
officicite direction. And that wise woman walked away, saying, name,
-
it was such a fool? Who is We all know
-
who that man was. He wasn't a lone ranger and
-
this one wasn't wearing a mask? Should I keep preaching?
-
Her said, We'll go to the house. I may preach
-
myself hell to preach myself hurt. Either way it be
-
s received. I believe that, brother Tyler. She came in
-
the house, and I believe you could hear that real
-
thick leather leather front door closed. Was that flap hit
-
the other flap? Right? Maybe it was a wooden door.
-
I don't know what it was. Maybe said where you went?
-
She said, lucky for you. I know who David is right,
-
lucky for you. I know who David is lucky for you.
-
I know where it knowting's a lucky for you. I
-
know who the spiritual leader of Israel is working for you.
-
I know who's been called a God. I know who's
-
been commissioned of God, and I know who runs from God.
-
And I know who plays church. Children must dreath around
-
and letus have a little bit of emotion. Why life,
-
sip on my coffee. That's playing church, and your children
-
know you're playing church. Whether you're having church in your
-
living room or in a storefront or in a big building,
-
people can tell when you're playing church. I preach you
-
a son in the Holy Ghost title, children are playing
-
the mis while that's do Aaron is playing church.
-
Not only is he.
-
Playing at church he's playing chief, he's playing leader. It's
-
a enable question David's authority, He sarcastically asked, why would
-
I give my bread to someone like David? Many slaves
-
flee from their math to just a common turn of events,
-
a beggar, a slave would come looking for bread. Brother
-
Jeremiah Nabel thought nothing of attempting to destroy David's reputation
-
and accuse him. The anointed of God has been nothing
-
more than a fugitive, a slave on the road. And
-
you know what David wanted to do. Within David's flesh,
-
I'll show him a thing or two, just like Mabel.
-
When the judge is going when the leaders gold, the
-
children of Israel would go back and bring foolishness back in.
-
They would revert back to their sinning ways. They'd go
-
back to their habits. They'd go back to dollar treat
-
They got their wish and they got to will and
-
let them right back into bondage. The pastor's out sick.
-
They missed and Wednesday night. Suddenly I feel the need
-
to ask somebody in the church to go shopping with me.
-
Suddenly I feel the need to do things that I've
-
never known before. I feel the need, and there's a
-
strong urge and a strong desire to be mischievous. But
-
I want you to know, any time they reverted back
-
in to their sin, it was only a matter of
-
time they were back in bondage. I've asked the question
-
before to the how we're young men, I said, if
-
I was to drop dead tomorrow, which you continue to stand,
-
if God was to come or call for your daddy tomorrow,
-
which you continue to stand for truth. My question tonight
-
is why did the children of Israel never come to
-
a place where they can lead themselves and their families properly?
-
Why do young men and young women never reach spiritual maturity?
-
Why do they refuse to develop spiritually? And I know
-
you deserve better than for you that I'm not preaching
-
to to feel like you're accused tonight. You're not. I
-
know of about ninety percent of the people in this
-
building had the Holy Ghost. They are possessed of the
-
Holy Ghost. But Sister Howell, I don't want to be
-
one of them five or six that year after year
-
after year after year, you keep going back into sin,
-
you keep having your spiritual authority issues. I'll tell you this,
-
when Abigail the wife enable the carmelotis and I'm paralleling
-
here and speaking spiritually when she sees her foolish husband
-
go from church to church to church to church to
-
church to church to church. And they've pad three to
-
five pastors in the last five or seven years. And somehow,
-
every one of them spiritual men who's been commissioned and
-
called of God, that have a power to lead a
-
divine forces behind them, to lead a wife, to lead
-
a family. They have fruit on their tree. Their congregation
-
is productive. But somehow that foolish man, I'm a preacher,
-
and then you sense in that foolish person an efeminine spirit.
-
You sense in that foolish person hidden sin. You sense
-
in that person that they are men on.
-
The run or a woman on the run.
-
Listen, Abigail. At that point, Sister Janet Hill can speak
-
from experience. You met a form an affinity with David
-
very soon, because I've heard them people before stand up
-
in this church and say, I've got the strength that
-
I need to go on now without brother and Sister Howland,
-
without the background and the backbone of the Bethel Holiness Church.
-
Oh it is sif. Two years later, suffering spiritually. You
-
never know how people in the building are thinking. I remember, sister,
-
when we were having church, not playing church, years ago,
-
about thirteen years ago, and this young woman who was
-
a baby in Christ, after about eighteen months of literally
-
coming out of nothing into this holiness way, one night
-
she stood up and she said, I've come to understand
-
that God could take Brother Hovel from us as pastor.
-
And I realized. Now after eighteen months or two years,
-
some of you will remember her saying this if you
-
remember it. Raise An said, I've come to realize and
-
be okay with the fact that after two years God
-
would take our pastor and we can still stand, and
-
we'll make it and we'll survive. And immediately I deserned
-
she was speaking Alie. She didn't anticipate my removal by
-
death or by commission of God. She wasn't forecasting that
-
God was gonna give me a spiritual promotion and move
-
me to the pastor of a big church, for we
-
didn't have such a thing at that time. She wasn't
-
being a propert us saying God's gonna bless our pastor
-
in such a way as gonna be a worldwide missionary,
-
and he's gonna spell a life money on chip fuel.
-
What she was doing, she was telling on herself. She
-
was letting us know, I'll be leaving soon, and I
-
got what I need to make it. I got what
-
I need to make it. I've heard a little teaching
-
on separation, I've heard a little teaching on sanctification. I've
-
learned how to watch Sister Howell and mimic her, Sister Walker.
-
We don't need to get in a discussion about this
-
in the near future, not tonight or ever. But I'll
-
never forget sister Walker coming to me. And she said,
-
concerning that certain sister there another Howell, she said, I
-
know you're on and I'm sure you've noticed that. She said,
-
but she's just parenting Sister Howell. She's mimicking Sister Howell.
-
In other words, what Sister Walker was saying is she's
-
playing church. Most people were deceived by her and her personality.
-
But I'll tell you the holygo Sister Howell has would
-
never cause her to stumble over to the men's side. Repeatedly,
-
the Holy goes of Sister Howell's side and inside of her,
-
the holy goes that possesses a sister Rachel and sister
-
Wooton will never send them into an aimless drift and
-
calls them to PLoP down in the lap of a
-
man that's married. That's what such a spiritual, foolish person said.
-
I've arrived. We've learned what we've needed to learn. I
-
remember when that preacher that was under our ministry for
-
a certain period of time, he said, I feel like
-
I've learned everything there is to be known about pastoring.
-
For now I know how to do it on my
-
own as a pastor. I come under your ministry. I've
-
learned how you communicate with your flock on a daily basis.
-
I've learned how you expressed your concern. I've learned how
-
to do it just like you do it. I've learned
-
where to stand in the church. I've learned when to
-
say things and not to say things. And Brother Nathaniel,
-
I knew, boy, it ain't coming from in here. And
-
as soon as you lose my influence, you're gonna revert
-
back to your ways. And he does not have a
-
church tonight, But I thought he learned how to be
-
the perfect pastor. Goodbye, pastor, Howell, we don't need you anymore.
-
I remember the night that woman, among others over the years,
-
said goodbye, goodbye, Pastor Howell, goodbye Methel, who would never
-
write my would say goodbye to the spiritual leadership of Moses,
-
Who in their right mind would say goodbye to the
-
spiritual leadership of Joshua. Why would a man like Joshua
-
have to say, you make your choice, and I'll make mine.
-
But as for me and my house, we will serve
-
the Lord, sister, and I will never know why. There
-
were developmental issues and some of the spiritual children, and
-
Sister how and I have had to oversee, and I
-
will tell you most of them have been adopted. And
-
when they've come in, they have already been the product
-
of another man, if not their own ministry. And when
-
they said signor goodbye, we've got it. Thank you for everything,
-
thanks for everything, brother Howell. In a short space of time,
-
they've reverted back. Sister Howl in proverb of twenty nine
-
to fifteen and said, but a child left to him,
-
say bringeth his mother to shame. That's exactly my point.
-
A child children at play, a child. The Bible said
-
that the children of Israel rose up to play. They
-
were adults, but they had childish thoughts. If I had
-
a little bit more energy, i'd run hard for another
-
fifteen minutes, but I'm weak in body. Apostle Paul one
-
time while preaching, and in his epistle, he said, there
-
was a time I thought as a child, I understood
-
as a child, but when I became a man, I
-
put away childish things. I want y'all to know. Sister
-
how And I don't pray at church only. Sister Walker
-
doesn't pray at church only. Sister He'll doesn't pray at
-
church only. Sister Haymond doesn't pray at church only. Brother Justin.
-
I don't believe you pray at church only. But sometimes
-
as to how, when I see some of the things
-
mature people do, quote mature people do, I realize they're
-
not the man or the woman in God they think
-
they are. There's a deep thought that I'm preaching to
-
night too. I ought to have confidence in you by now,
-
at seventeen and eighteen years of age, Sister how and
-
I we were having Bible study, not trying to slip
-
behind a barn. Explain away why you did what you
-
did as a young person, and try to explain why
-
we were pure and all I can tell you is
-
you're going to revert right back to it. You get taught,
-
you receive instruction, you receive direction. You're told plainly what
-
to do and not to do. The saying is when
-
the cat's away, the mice flame again. But a child
-
left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. It doesn't
-
say a grown man. A child is the one that
-
keeps getting reproof The first part of that scripture, Part
-
A of that scripture talks about a parent reproving the child.
-
I'm preaching the children tonight. I'm not preaching to the
-
elders of this church. I'm not preaching a brother Philip.
-
I'm talking about spiritual meats. Apostle Paul said, when you
-
should have been able to receive meat, because you're a child,
-
I have to part the whiskers and put a bottle
-
in that mouth and give you milk. Hain't children, it's
-
almost revival time. Hate children. It's Sunday to go to church.
-
Hate children. It's been weak. Go to church, hate children.
-
Put God first. Hate children. But men of God, possessed
-
by the Holy Goost, they learn these things. I appreciate
-
the strong leadership of Bethel it's a blessing to be
-
under the umbrella of strong leadership. But if he was removed,
-
or if you were to remove yourself, how would you fare.
-
I want to ask you a question concerning those that,
-
in the wrong spirit have removed themselves from Bethel. Has
-
it ever ended well for them? How can they come
-
here saying I know what's the will of God and
-
then leave? Right? So, if you came here in the
-
will of God, when you leave, you're out of the
-
will of God. Simple solution. Let's stand to be dismissed
-
here tonight. We've already prayed and praised the Lord, unless
-
somebody feels like praying. But I I come to tell somebody,
-
you're not prepared, You're not ready. You keep reverting back
-
right Fossor Paul said, how turn you again to the
-
week and the benderly elements of the world. Sister How.
-
We had had two years with that young woman, and
-
she felt like she could make it on her own.
-
But you know what I've learned, whether the thing or
-
the quartet saying dishorned, I can't even walk without him
-
holding back. But one thing I noticed anytime, Sister How,
-
and I sought out a moment of vacation, just a
-
week of rest.
-
It.
-
There was not a time that that woman was not
-
getting in trouble that she had not backed up on
-
the job of with friends and family. That was not
-
one time she had not stuck around and done something roll.
-
How do you know that, because when we got back,
-
she'd be confessing I'd done roll. Include one time she
-
told me and says, how in our office, she said,
-
I need y'all to pray for me, because while y'all
-
were gone, I started fellowship and with the unfruitful works
-
of darkness. And these people that live like the world
-
and listen to any kind of music and call themselves Christians.
-
And she said they dressed like people of the world.
-
She said, I lowed them to pray over me. And
-
here's what she said. I am possessed. I thought you
-
were able to do on your own. I'm preaching with
-
a burden. Tonight. Somebody has walked out and said bye bye.
-
And what I saw the moment they said bye bye,
-
Here's what I saw spiritually, as sure as I heard
-
God speak to me to preach this message tonight, a
-
little whirlwind sprouted up. And for anybody that knows the
-
nature of a WorldWind. It grows and it intensifies, and
-
it gets bigger. And what I've been hearing in my
-
soul is, Abigail, you better for your life. Because foolish
-
people challenge the commission and the call and the spiritual authority.
-
Foolish people receive instruction, it would, unmonitored revert back to
-
things that displease God as soon as the leader misses
-
because of the need for personal rispit, and they make
-
a departure and go into the mountain to get into
-
presence of God. Moses was not seeking out of vacation
-
on the beach of the Sea of Galilee. Moses was
-
looking for an opportunity to get alone with God. And
-
the children are at play tonight. As we worshiped the
-
Lord on this pomp Sunday, I wasn't playing. I've seen
-
people that live like the devil, and they love to
-
put on their Sunday best as to how and they
-
love to come up and stand behind a piano, plup
-
their heels together, stand there properly and see beautifully, loving
-
to sing the songs of an desiron but playing church.
-
I've seen people that love to crawl up alongside of
-
an altar grab a cleanex box and pull out a
-
cleanex and pray for a little while with a strong
-
desire to play church. Let me ask you all question
-
in closing, I hope nobody's cutting me off, because this
-
is my punchline. I will never believe as long as
-
I live, that God understands witness in mind that fifty
-
people were killed. If I got the number right recently,
-
that our lifetime, thirty or fifty people were executed as
-
Christians for simply being believers. Right, how many was it?
-
Seventy people? I would never believe with that in mind,
-
that it's God's will for some pastor's wife or camp
-
meeting speaker's wife, for a Fangelis's wife, or a young
-
person in the church to walk into that bed of
-
poor sanctuary, where that manicured lawn, and come down that center.
-
I'll put one foot in front of the other with
-
their little prissy expression gate.
-
And walk with that uncut hair and that nose in
-
the air, and with that fragrance of one hundred and
-
twenty dollars perfume, and to come in.
-
So pampered and so preaty and so princy with a pair.
-
Of thirty dollars shoes on their feet and one hundred
-
and twenty dollars pocket book that they feel us too cheap.
-
And for them the press in that church, and for
-
that camp meet speaker of that preacher, that pastor, that evangelist.
-
Or that young man to come in bladdle and luck
-
a duck and shunting like a peacock, hit a five
-
hundred dollars suit, hit a one hundred and twenty dollars
-
pair of shoes, and to act lot they're having church.
-
When people that came even a four or to rupt
-
two pities together, or marching to the executioner's chop blocker.
-
Why said go and be to Jesus? How the loon?
-
Come on?
-
Now, I'm telling you there's a whole lot of people.
-
They're speaking in a talla. They're twirling around now, they're
-
running around there, and they're all who they.
-
Playing in churchill, But I want you to know who
-
the real church is charging the chop blocker.
-
The real church is God.
-
Is thrown and it pays the persecution and a president.
-
That is the church that I'll be long too.
-
I said that that is the church. And I said
-
the ant lie to be up in the all.
-
You tell me.
-
How the God of the persecuted church can look on
-
there pont a camp meeting of it dependent holy this
-
people or Pentecosta people, where it's a passion.
-
Shot of you.
-
That's not the church I've belong to. I'm telling some
-
young being in this building.
-
This time you stop perioding. This time is stop looking
-
at us. If you put know.
-
You're a Sunday besser. If you want to put your
-
armorrold I said, you want to put.
-
Your arrold a lot to church, be the churche.
-
There's six people in this building.
-
We're preaching.
-
The last few weeks you've been saying six people in
-
this building exactly, there's six people in.
-
This building right now.
-
I want to ask you what you come this halter
-
and whatever it is you know you needed to.
-
Do for a long time.
-
If you could focus them on that quote of perfume
-
in that spray a colone, it thought that your chuggler
-
vein can be ruptured had the ax head of an executioner,
-
why didn't you have tux? I said there the charge
-
would be attack and these chimular fans would not matter.
-
Children and that place you know where I'll see the
-
children their play side. I see along the roadside in
-
communities because they expect children to get out there and
-
entertain one another. They expect children engage in times of
-
recreational activities. Look at ny he's usually somebody acts foolishly.
-
And I want you to know. Mature people don't play
-
in the streets, and the char people don't.
-
Come a church.
-
Chill then, won't pray through til captures golden children won't
-
pray through until the dead is raised.
-
Chill theren won't pray.
-
Until kny older is dissolved. Kill her. Won't preach while
-
they're in a little bit of pain. But mature people,
-
they'll get out the the highways. They'll get there in
-
the hedges, and they will compel them to come in them.
-
Sit her, come in, sit her, come to church, Sit her,
-
come into church. There's memory in this building right now.
-
And my parents are still in their cages. I said,
-
parents are still in their cages. Let me ask you
-
a question, now that you've received a lot of the word,
-
do you now think that God is in that can't
-
meet Speaker's wife waiting until church has started and plants
-
it down next sell with her head up in the
-
air like sees somebody. If executioners would have come in.
-
And grabbed her by the head of the hair and
-
drag her out.
-
She would be worried about that secular seniors perfume being
-
over her. There no, thank God, please with holiness women
-
sit her out and holiness fellowship. Paul. If the may
-
weather or not, Britney's fears perfew, he beyonceys fast better.
-
I'm gonna prophesy right now.
-
I'm gonna power God.
-
He spoke to me before acting to this building this morning.
-
They spoke to me again. The parents are gonna stay
-
in their cases, and you know what you're gonna steal.
-
You'll be playing with that mirror that's in that cage.
-
You're gonna steal, be playing while the church is gone,
-
I said the church siple, we'll fucked a bottle. And
-
when the battle's over, we're gonna guard to that moon
-
or louson and you'll steal be foun chart.
-
The hero of mine is.
-
Not somebody fool.
-
A pride strut.
-
Through the churchmen in air after like they can preach
-
the heroic mid is that missionary?
-
Then a far.
-
Country that's been theough for five years didn't abductor that
-
dumb time and carried away left. Get to the right now,
-
where the white trim, white trim sneakers, the church on
-
you look to.
-
While saints, blood, the soil, the souls of.
-
Those who make them martyrs, this sign right now displaying
-
their maturity. I would be terrified right now that what's
-
inside of me, it's God enough to rise up at
-
the time was here. It's a part of them. When
-
the enemy comes in luck, a flood, something without you,
-
how to rise up for holding those out of high,
-
tracking your enemies and push your enemies. I'd be alarmed
-
and concerned right now. If you're content with playing church,
-
I'm content with dragging in at five fifty eight on
-
a Sunday night. I'm content with dragging in at ten
-
o five am on a Sunday morning. I'm content as
-
low as my neck time, not this square of my neck.
-
You better have what you need to face the chalk block.
-
I'll tell you something right now, brother Jesse. When I
-
started preaching almost twenty years ago, I was amazed and
-
appalled by the actions of so called independent Pentecostal preachers.
-
When you mentioned the possibility that trouble and persecution will
-
come to the United States. They want a church to end, right, then,
-
that's just the fault of the possibility of persecution coming.
-
They don't want you preaching along their lives. That's why
-
they're so sure about the rapture. That's so focused. Don't
-
getting out of here. That's good that we're focused. Don't
-
getting out of here. I'm definitely gonna try to get
-
out of here before the wrath of Almighty God falls.
-
But brother Jesse, you try to tell them seventy people
-
that lost their head, the trouble doesn't come to the
-
children of God.
-
You try to tell the.
-
Son of and family that find a little Baptist family
-
where that stur that church. Joshua Sullivan was abducted and
-
taken away from his family. You're playing church ain't gonna
-
work there. You ain't threatening me by telling me that
-
you've been bees, bees and all forensic science of the sas.
-
Real men don't fascinate themselves with the crowns of others.
-
Real men just go ahead and become a powerful They
-
go ahead and do something great for God, not for themselves.
-
A coward convinced murder the most sprightness of human pigs
-
of not innocent people, helpless people. But I'd be the
-
first to rift the head off of the ductor they're
-
trying to get. Sister, howell you let anybody I'm talking
-
about real men, as Apostle Paul.
-
Said, that's not the power to lead them out a light.
-
Prussel Paul was saying.
-
Some of you, pip screen, can't even lead your life,
-
and a lot of prisoners can't even lead their family.
-
And the Bible said, if they can't leave their family,
-
and I'm in this subjection, they shouldn't be pressing anyway.
-
That's what the Bible said. I don't care what's there.
-
Don't you a.
-
Parent? You're gonna steal be in your cage. In fact, you're.
-
Lying to me, of course steal are well?
-
You said you had got delivered from it and stopped it,
-
but then you set Saymuel's barbag heir and said you're
-
still listening to it? Where's the preel with God?
-
Right now?
-
They're working repentance?
-
Where's the panel?
-
Regard that two's down? Stroll broods casting down such imaginations
-
as that, where's the young woman? Tonight?
-
It's time they're playing in church?
-
Where's that ten? Year old little studys, mid God, it's
-
still a point addicted.
-
To a cellphold. Then we'll say it's.
-
Time that I'll be the church. H Ain't you need
-
you gotta slt on to read about in the heache
-
for seventy SATs? Ain't you being you a God and
-
what you need is not gonna help you pret such
-
a hot as that I'm coming in you not to
-
touch somebody in God in a near free church. Don't
-
be hatress.
-
The time is now.
-
Here's a reason for this message to God.
-
Your time is now because our sense a spirit.
-
Gets a light to sleep.
-
Up your feet. You don't playing church.
-
You need not be risky business. I said, you know,
-
look to the compromisa.
-
Did they not be Western bad? When that missionary took.
-
His family applica, he knew there's risk and bad. Somebody
-
right now s in the moot, brothers, if you calmly
-
would did you shift over.
-
Here to the side.
-
Independent Pentecostal people are like people of organizations. They shudder
-
and they tremble. What a teacher even remote me. He
-
mentions the possibility of church persecution in the United States
-
when they think that they have to drive of HIC
-
or fifteen years or older. They won, there's God blessing
-
them or not. When there's people in other countries that
-
are walking the church, I'm telling you I'm no longer
-
deceived by what people call church. I don't care who they.
-
Are, what family they belong to, I don't care how.
-
Many people worship them. But if they think walking into
-
that church, when that nose up in the air, the lock,
-
there's somebody and they went to seminary.
-
All the while they're allowing.
-
On holiness to come in, lack a ploria, all a
-
lot of allowing compromise to come in. And I'm profession
-
in pace and level. I don't worship them. I seeing
-
those foolish people playing church. They may be able to
-
hit the low note, and they may be able to
-
hit the high note, but when they got to the
-
place they're willing to overlook an effeminine spirit just because
-
they're competing choirs needs a superior timory. Then every other
-
person is playing church. Said, why is that man of
-
prominence and importance allowing that man possessed by that effeminine
-
spirit to hit the high notes? Hand that choir competition
-
when they're willing to overlook the homosexual who will gladly
-
gladness seen and participate. They're playing church and some of
-
you they're playing church. You'll let me preach and have
-
church sick. You'll be bringing on YouTube within ten days, saith,
-
God be honest. When people in Kenya part of the
-
real church, ask me, Biship, can we get ten miles?
-
And some of you don't know ones to last time
-
you looked at your back. I'm not preaching everybody. We
-
ain't got cancer in this church. I'm preaching the fire
-
or six because some of you are content with fifty
-
sixteen seventy. They've been like the world and struggling a man. Children.
-
I get concerned when I have three, four, five or
-
six in the how household. I was upset if one
-
little snotty news Brad was being unruled. They still haven't moved,
-
Sister Rachel. What I should have had made for tonight's
-
message is a children at play side, and I should
-
have posted it up. Besides, some people they be able
-
to be in churches, and people say that's indicus of
-
the anointing of God. I hope so could be a
-
blessing of God. I know one holiness preacher told me
-
one time concerning a man's family who was unruly and
-
had a history of sneaking around and committed gross sin.
-
He said, we'll bless God. I know he's a man
-
of God because he has a six digitt salary and
-
has a six bedroom house, a true bathroom place that
-
wasn't a Baptist ministry. Let me get this straight. You're
-
a man of God because you have a big enough library,
-
but you can preach a message that nobody can figure
-
out where you got it from. Let me guess you're
-
a big enough man of God because you've got enough
-
offering in that revival that you can afford two hundred
-
fifty dollars shoes than eat it long for a few
-
times a month. Now, you remember
