Wow! What A Bargain - Bro Aaron Wood 6-1-2025

As it's been said throughout the last week and a halfter.

So le's sure you miss our pastor a we miss it.

I was definitely looking forward to him more so than

to me. I guarantee you that he loved and it's

okay to say amen to that.

I will not get the least offended. You may say amen,

amen amen.

I would much rather much rather I had me a

little penny party. I'll tell them a little caleb about it.

This morning I was like, oh my goodness, two sundays

in a row. And then the Lord come by and said, yeah,

that's what your bachelor does all the time. That's his

normal routine, that is to do multiple services in a road.

Aspously, here Sir gets myself back up and we get

a hold of God. Well, I appreciate the Lord. I

do appreciate my pastor giving me this opportunity. Again, like

I said, we do greatly greatly.

Miss them him.

Sister, how we do appreciate their burdenfore this church, the

heart that happened.

Chapter six, verse twenty. And I may read a lot

more scripture tonight than usual. See how the Lord leads

us and we'll start here, and we'll have to stand

for all of them read. I've got about twenty verses,

so we'll.

Ye are bought with a primise.

Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit,

which are Gods. If y'all help, you will go to

the Lord and pray. As I started praying yesterday, trying

to get the mind of the Lord, a title.

Came to mind.

First of all, Sometimes it's titles, sometimes it's scripture. More

often it seems like it's a title. And I was

going to change it and narrow it down, but the

Lord said, don't do it that way. So my title

is Wow, what a pargain. And we'll start there. And first,

Briton six that that word bought. It specifically means to redeem.

I want to make sure I knew what redeem men

redeemings to liberate or rescue from captivity, to regain possession

of a thing alienated.

That was me.

I needed rescuing. I needed liberation. I needed to be

back in his possession. I'd been brought up on a

honest pew all my life, but that didn't save me.

Sleeping on a pew from whatever age to whatever age

didn't save me. Seeing those under the anointing of God

being moved on by the Holy Ghost, that didn't save me.

Conviction coming into my life and telling me, hey, you're

a sinner, you need God, even that didn't save me.

What it took was me acknowledging, repenting, and trusting.

And I feel like, I just want to let you

know that what you've got is worth keeping, and if

you don't have it, it's worth getting.

A bargain. I looked up up a bargain.

And the.

Definition that really popped out to me was a contract.

By which one party binds himself to transfer the right

to some property for a consideration, and then the other

party binds himself to receive that property and pay that consideration.

There's a transfer. I transferred ownership to my temple, which

was already his. As Pastor has said, it's our body,

but it's his temple. And I acknowledge that this is

his temple. And whenever I knowledge that I'm transferring every

rite I thought I had to you, Lord, he paid

the consideration, And that consideration was something that it bottles

the mind that a god would do that for a

piece of dirt. That's all I was worthless, plump of clay.

For as much as you know that, you were not

redeemed with corruptible things, as first Peter, Chapter one, verse eighteen,

as silver and gold from your vain conversation, receipt by

tradition from your father's, but with the precious blood of Christ,

as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

And once you've been redeemed, you now are a second Peter,

verse nine. But you are a chosen generation.

You're a royal priesthood and holy nation, a peculiar people

that you should show forth the praises of Him.

Who have redeemed you. Calls you out of darkness into

his marvelous light, not just light.

We see so many different types of light. I know

these LEDs are wonderful. They do send for them a

great light. But you can get them in four different colors,

and get them.

In that light, the sunlight kind that the white right light.

And God give us that bright light, that distinctness of character.

We're not to be any more shadowed at all, anymore

darkened at all. We are to be in a marvelous

light and I'm afraid so many times we as people,

we're like demus. We go back and we put a

tent over the window and we shut out that marvelous light,

and then we pull the shade, and then we want

to put that sun block in shade too, because we

don't want to feel the conviction anymore, because it's led

us conviction.

Now we're in condemnation.

And instead of going back and doing our first works

over like we've been told, like we've been taught, we

want to just continue, continue, continue, putting more over that light,

more of that life, because every time we see the light,

it reminds us of what we did have, of how

great a bargain we really did get, of how wonderful

salvation truly is. I don't know about you, but I

was lost. I was lost without any hope at all whatsoever.

There was no hope in my present condition that I

was going to make it to heaven. There was nothing

I could do except repent.

That was my one and only option.

And for us to think that there's some other way,

have we truly forgotten how lost we were?

I'm afraid sometimes we do. Sometimes we go to church.

So long and we're around such great people here at Bethel.

It's a wonderful, wonderful church. Has been said that I

don't know of any church like this either, And I've

been more places than probably a lot. E E said,

maybe how I tried. I'm sure they beat me on

that one. But I've been a lot of places. I've

seen a lot of things. But I've never seen anything

like this. Like they said about Jesus, I ain't never

seen it like that. How he talks, how he teaches,

how he heals, how he makes the storms lay flat.

I haven't seen it like that anywhere else, been around him,

same here. I haven't seen the dead raised. I haven't

seen the cancer patient heal. I have seen that till here.

And so we sometimes get insulated from how bad out

there is. I know we have our jobs, I know

we have people we rubbed shoulders with day to day.

But it's easy to see.

Through a glass darkly. It's easy to be so holy,

and I'm not saying we shouldn't.

Be, but to forget how deep they are in that,

and what a.

Bargain it was for me because I was there too,

maybe not as deep into it, maybe.

Not eat up with, but sin is sin, any sin,

it's gonna put us in the wrong place, even one.

And they it's a white lie. No, it's a plain

old lie, that devilish lie. No matter how white it is,

there's nothing white about life.

And if we will remember how great, how wonderful it

was whenever we came up out of that ruby red blood,

and everything was marvelously wondrously changed, it was a great day.

The black brother says, it was a great day, great day.

Whenever I got said, it was a great day. And

let us remember the greatness of that day, and not

only that day, but rests on. There's deeper that was

great satification. It's great too.

Holy ghost in dwelling is even greater, and there is

deeper depths and higher heights, And we can get farther

and farther and farther, never forgetting though where we came from, always.

Remembering that it was by his grace, for his glory

that he saved us.

We don't have to be barren. We don't have to

be fruitless, we don't have to have a stony heart.

We don't have to be hopeless, helpless. We don't have

to be mad at everybody. We don't have to be

miserable anymore.

We don't have to be sad and lonely and fearful

empty on the inside. We don't have to be broken.

We don't have to be a constant failure. Every time

we get up a little bit, the devil just slaps

us right back.

We don't have to do that.

Because God made provision, a wonderful provision.

We can live above. Praise God, thanks your pastor.

We can live above the sin line, and we don't

have to. And Isaiah fifty three and three. He was despised.

He is despised and rejected of men. He was a

man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, and we hid, as

it were, our faces from him.

He was despised, and we esteemed him. Not how many

of us before salvation did the same thing. Oh, just

just Jesus. I've heard about.

Him all my life, and we despised him because we

didn't realize what a great price he really paid. We

didn't realize how wretched and poor and blind and miss

where we were. But surely he hath borne our griefs

and carried our sorrows. Yet we just esteem him, stricken

smitten of God, and afflicted. But the reason for it all.

He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for

our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him,

and with his stripes we are healed.

He was wounded for.

Mine, for Aaron's transgressions. Aaron's sins put my Christ on

the cross. My iniquities bruised him. My lack of peace

caused chastisement to come upon him. And because I needed healing,

he voluntarily took stripes. We want to forget it. The beauty,

first of all, the blood, yes, beauty of his sacrifice.

We cannot That was the bargain we could negotiate. We

couldn't negotiate that, that great of a bargain for us,

that he would take something worthless and take the priceless

son of God's.

Blood and swamp it. How could we not love him?

How could our love? And I know I mentioned it,

Maybe it was last Sunday morning. How could my.

Love not constrain me, force me, pull me up out

of bed, get me dressed, and bring me to God's house?

How could my love not make me do that? For

what he did, for what he has done, for what

he has promised.

Not only has he given us salvation, and we are

or should be the happiest people on earth.

We have nothing to be sad about.

We've got a home on the other side.

That there never will be taken from us.

There's no property tax up there, there's no house insurance

having been paid up there, none of that. It's already built.

We don't have to put the construction bill for it

with nothing. It's a free gift. Part of the bargain

is a mansion on the other side. That's part of

the bargain. Part of the bargain was storms get to

be stealed. Part of the bargain was blind eyes get

to be open. Part of the bargain was the main

That's part of the bargain.

That day can be raised. That's part of the bargain.

It's all in that same contract that whenever I say, Lord,

I did it.

I sent you to that cross. I did wrong.

It was me.

It was my fault.

I acknowledge it. I admit it, and I don't want

to be that person anymore. That's where it's at. We've

got to admit to ourselves that we are wrong, and

we've got to admit that God's way.

Is one percent right. It's his way or it's no way.

We've got to obey or go. We'll take us out

of the way. I'll just go to the next one.

It's okay, He'll replace us everyone that thirsteth fifty five

and one.

I told you that a lot of scriptures ho everyone

that thirsteth, Come you to the waters he that.

Hath no money, come you bye, eat yea. Come buy

wine and milk without money and without price.

Because that's part of the bargain that's included. That you

will never find a contract on earth that is even

half as good as a contract that God made with

us at Calvary, and.

As a contract that's eternal.

If we don't have to depend on ourselves anymore, we

can depend on His strength.

I think Paul.

Sewond Corinth as I believe it is, chapter maybe thirteen.

He speaks of whenever you need to strength, that God said,

you know what, my grace is sufficient, and my strength

has made perfect in weakness.

So acknowledge that's part of the bargain. Acknowledge that you

can't do it. He knows already you can. He knows

he's gonna have to help you. He wants to.

His desire is to help his children. His desire is

to give us what we need to make it to heaven.

Otherwise he would have never made the bargain with us.

He would have never said, you know what, your wild father,

I'll do it.

He wouldn't have done that if he wasn't going to

help us day by day by day by day. Every

day he helps us. Every day he just gives us

exactly what we need for that day. There's rivers of waters.

It's just amazing what all is included in this bargain.

He sent his son into the world not to condemn it,

but that the world through him might be saved. Told

that woman at the well, is that if.

You knew the gift of God, if you knew, is

there anybody in here that doesn't know the gift of God?

Is there anybody in here that's above the age of

accountability that hasn't heard what a great gift?

That are Christ?

Are Jesus a wonderful Savior gave for us. And if

you know, are you being part of the bargain? Have

you put your name on there and saying you know what,

I like this contract?

This contract is great. This bargain is awesome.

This bargain is the best I've ever come across, that

I can trade all my worthlessness for His glory.

That I could be something because He is everything and

raised God. Unfortunately, if we don't take God's bargain, there's

only one other bargain we can take it. There's always

two sides and the other side.

You don't want any part of that. Come on, matter

of fact, you're probably already experiencing it. If you haven't

signed the bargain, the contract of the Christ, then you're

you're already on the other side.

You know how miserable that is. You know how horrible

that is. You know how sleepless the nights can be.

You know how tragic that every single day it seems

like there's just one more thing being piled on top

of you.

Everything goes wrong all the time. You're always mad, always miserable.

Everything's just gloom and doom, and how it really is

because there's no good end on the wrong side of

the contract.

There's no good end on the wrong side of the bargain.

The only ways God is whenever the Spirit of God says, come, Amen.

You've tasted, you have seen, you felt. You know, just

can't amen. But we must completely surrender. Right, It's true.

We can't give.

We can't even give nine percent. We have to give

all of our heart, all of our minds, all of

our strength.

Amen. It's still worth it. It's still worth it. Cannot

quote unquote only be my own person when you can

and you can burn, But if it'll be God's, It'll

be so much better for you. It'll be better for

your family. It'll be better for the coworkers. It'll be

better for your neighbor, it'll be better for your church.

It'll be better for you most of all, because God

wants you.

He desires to have to You know, He could have

done away with Adam and Eve just as quick as

we step on a bug, just done.

He could have made another angel or two to take

their place. But if he wanted conscious communion, he wants

us to want him. That's where it's at.

He wants us without being pushed, pulled, or dragged. He

wants us to walk to him and say I love

you and I want to be yours. That's the heart

of his heart, his heart to heart. And it's not

a bad deal. It's not a bad deal, the best

one you'll ever get on this side of eternity, on

all that side, either one.

Just give it to it. Praise God. Come on, brother

Jesse at this time. Amen. There's an old saying that says,

something for nothing. Amen. We all love a good bargain.

We all love to get something for nothing.

And man, and truly, the greatest thing ever you man's

brother would pray so wonderfully, was paid for nothing like

me and a.

Nothing like you. Even.

Let's come to night and pray even and give our

lives to God, if that's what we need to do,

make a complete surrender. And man, there are many today

holding on to what they deem to be valuable, and

then when they go get it a praise, they find

it to be worth nothing and mean.

And oftentimes we hold.

On to things even in the spiritual the man that

we deem to be valuable.

Amen, And we.

Sacrifice that which is a truly great value.

They then for things that are worthless, and then.

A while what a bargain, they man, what a price

was paid for each and every one of us?

And then that we might have peace of joy and man,

and we.

Might prosper and be in good health. Theymen, let's pray

talk to you.
