  1. Let's turn to the Book of Matthew. May I direct

  2. your attention to the tenth chapter. We will be looking

  3. at versus number thirty two and thirty three. Brother Nathaniel Acts,

  4. Chapter number five and verse number twenty nine, and Brother

  5. Jesse Romans Chapter number one and verse number sixteen. Could

  6. somebody get a microphone into Brother Ropecap's hand at some

  7. point tonight, I am going to call on him. Hey,

  8. Brother Nathaniel Acts, chapter number five and verse number twenty nine.

  9. My brother, then Peter and the other apostles answered and said,

  10. we all to obey God rather than men. How many

  11. of you believe that that we ought to obey God

  12. rather than men? Brother Jesse Romans, Chapter number one, verse

  13. number sixteen, My brother, for.

  14. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for

  15. it is the power power of God to salvation to

  16. everyone that believeth to that you first, and also to

  17. the Greek.

  18. How many of you know that God has been speaking

  19. the sum of the Bethel hole in his church that

  20. it is time to come out of their shall It

  21. is time for you to get that head out of

  22. the sand. I want to preach a message the Holy

  23. Ghost titled I'm coming out of the claus it. I'm

  24. coming out of the clauset. Let's stand for the reading

  25. of our golden text here tonight, Matthew, Chapter number ten,

  26. verses number thirty two and thirty three. The Bible says,

  27. whosoever therefore shall confess me before men him, will I

  28. confess also before my Father, which is in heaven. Noticing

  29. that part that says before men, But whosoever shall deny

  30. me before men him, will I also deny before my Father,

  31. which is in heaven. How many of you know that

  32. the Heavenly Father that we worship and adore is tucked

  33. away somewhere beyond the blue. When you pray to him,

  34. you do not see him. He is not a public figure,

  35. per se. You seek him in private, you communicate with

  36. him in private oftentimes. But he wants to be worshiped publicly.

  37. And I'm going to attempt to prove this through the

  38. scriptures here tonight. And I need your prayers. If you've

  39. ever prayed for me, will you.

  40. Pray for me?

  41. Heavenly Father, we think and we praise it for the

  42. opportunity to be in your house.

  43. I thank you for this, thy people.

  44. I pray that you would set a guard at their

  45. ears and help them to hear what the Spirit of

  46. God says. Unto the church tonight, God would just said.

  47. A guard at my mouth and help me to.

  48. Say the things that you would have me to say

  49. to this people. I pray nothing more or less would

  50. be said than that that you put in my heart

  51. to say. Lord, would you help us to hear, hearken,

  52. heed what is spoken to us by.

  53. The power and the Spirit of God.

  54. May we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowly in

  55. Jesus's name. And the Church said, Amen, look at your

  56. neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, are you coming.

  57. Out of the closet?

  58. Amen, Hey, neighbor, are you coming out of the clause.

  59. That's what I want to ask for to seven of

  60. you here tonight. Our text is found in a New

  61. Testament book of the Holy Bible. It is the first

  62. book of the New Testament or.

  63. The New Covenant. The title the name of its author.

  64. The author had been a tax collector for the Roman government.

  65. But on a certain day, as Jesus passed by the

  66. Roman's tax collection office, and specifically by this particular tax

  67. collector's booth, Jesus spoke words to this man named Levi

  68. who sat at the receipt of custom. How many of

  69. you know the two words that Jesus spoke to this man,

  70. Matthew or Levi. The words that he spoke to Matthew

  71. on that day while this man was busy working for

  72. the Roman government?

  73. Were these words?

  74. Follow me?

  75. Now?

  76. This man chose to arise and follow Jesus. I wonder

  77. how many people in this building have heard the words

  78. of the Lord speak directly to them.

  79. It's time to.

  80. Arise and follow the instructions that have been given to you.

  81. Have you done it immediately? Have you done it in

  82. that moment? Have you chosen to obey God? Or have

  83. you obeyed yourself, your own false prophet? So this man

  84. he arose and he followed Jesus. This reference to this

  85. morning's message should ring a bell. Matthew responded to the

  86. revelation that he received. How many have you feel like

  87. you've been receiving revelation from the Lord of late?

  88. And if this man have not responded.

  89. To the revelation that he would have received, he would

  90. not have ever given Christians of this wonderful First gospelm

  91. which we love to.

  92. Read throughout each year.

  93. In fact, we would have had one less gospel to

  94. read from tonight.

  95. But our golden text.

  96. Him is chosen from the record of this man of

  97. God who responded properly to revelation. This man would have

  98. been at a very important public figure. In fact, most

  99. of the people within the Roman government in that immediate

  100. area or vicinity would have.

  101. Known him by name.

  102. A lot of his Jewish brothers and sisters, meaning the

  103. children of Abraham and Adam, would have recognized him. He

  104. was recognizable in society because of his servitude to Herod Antipas,

  105. the tetrarch of gal Lee. So this man would have

  106. been noticeable and recognizable to anybody. He would have been

  107. recognized by the massive But brother Jesse, it is true

  108. that he would not have been as wildly popular as Jesus.

  109. He would not have been popular with the Jews. How

  110. many of you are looking for fame and fortune? How

  111. many of you pursuing popularity despite pure pressure. This man

  112. was not at all concerned as a public figure about

  113. what everyone would have thought about him. When he walked

  114. into a building. Everybody in that building would have recognized him,

  115. whether they wanted to acknowledge his presence or not.

  116. I want you to know he.

  117. Was a public figure. He was somebody that everybody knew of.

  118. May I point out that leave By Matthew had no

  119. problem whatsoever with being unpopular amongst the June eyes. Sister,

  120. howell as you and I took a nap today, the

  121. Lord begin to deal with me about this receiver of

  122. the taxes of his brothers and sisters.

  123. And I got to thinking about how.

  124. He was not at all bothered by what people thought

  125. of him. He was willing to do whatsoever he needed

  126. to do in order to please the Roman government.

  127. Come on, now, I.

  128. Believe his candidacy to be a disciple or a follower

  129. or an apostle of Jesus Christ hung largely on her

  130. this fact that he was not ashamed.

  131. To be who he was.

  132. When I look at Mother Billy Brock, I see a

  133. preacher of the Gospel that is not ashamed at all,

  134. whether in private or in public, to be a preacher.

  135. I've heard him tell church people, and I've heard him

  136. tell strangers that I am an evangelist, I am a revivalist.

  137. Don't you think that the fact that he's.

  138. Not ashamed of this so is one of the reasons

  139. why he was called, Oh, come on now, asking you

  140. here tonight, are you going.

  141. To come out.

  142. Of the clauset before tonight's service has ended? Before your

  143. assistant pastor, the Reverend justin Road Kampa puts her a fingernail,

  144. cheep finger on that lot switcher and pulls it too,

  145. the opposition that will.

  146. You have come out of the clauset?

  147. When I think of somebody that is a clause at Christian,

  148. that word clause at is being used in context of

  149. what we are preaching tonight, and it means her you

  150. do not really they own up to be a Christian

  151. in private, behind closed doors, you do prefessor to be

  152. a Christian.

  153. But no, Now there's a lot.

  154. Of Pentecostal Christians today. They have no form about reaching

  155. all because they are content to stay behind closed doors.

  156. You will find that is the trend among people today.

  157. And I feel like, really at the root of it

  158. is they are concerned about what people will think of

  159. them if they handsomewhat attract or they stand on a

  160. street corner with a sign or a bull horn. They're

  161. concerned about what somebody would think when they walk into

  162. a correctional facility, or when they walk into a nursing

  163. home facility. The last Sunday, being obedient to his calling,

  164. Barah Jesse went over there to the nursing home with

  165. the Hope Team members the specifically help him up with

  166. that specific ministry. He said as he approached the door,

  167. and somebody met him at the door and said, there's

  168. up a respiratory illness aka covidric and havoca in this.

  169. Assistant Living facility.

  170. And they told by the Jesse we do not recommend

  171. it all that you go behind them doors. Blarah Jesse

  172. was not ashamed of girl behind them doors and the

  173. preacher in that cafeteria. They tell me those videos now

  174. popping up on Facebook.

  175. I would know.

  176. Nothing of that because I know as a minister of

  177. the Gospel, you have to be very careful participating in

  178. social media.

  179. Jessee.

  180. What I'm saying is what you felt like was being

  181. done in private.

  182. Has now become a public thing.

  183. You see somebody that's prominent in town corner. Sister christal

  184. And said, I've seen a video a brother Jesse is

  185. wifeing you and others having church in the cafeteria of

  186. the Sister Living facility. I want you to know that day,

  187. they told brother Jesse, you cannot go in there and

  188. practice what your preacher. He cannot go in there forget Hey, man,

  189. you cannot go in there and remember the forgotten. You

  190. cannot go in there today and reached the least, the lost,

  191. and the lonely better. Jesse said, I looked to my right,

  192. and I looked to my left, and realize some of

  193. the residents were outside.

  194. He said.

  195. I spoke to him, and I said to the offield

  196. like her having church outside? Oh, ain't God for somebody

  197. that was willing the come out of the clause with

  198. their ministry, somebody that was willing to be seen in

  199. publica showing their love and their faith for God.

  200. Listen, saints of God.

  201. I know around the sixth chapter and the sixth person

  202. of Brook of Matthew, the same gospel Jesus talked to

  203. about people going in to the prayer Cluset. He talked

  204. about people praying his secret. He talked about people being

  205. rewarded publicly because of their pretty life, but his secret. Oh,

  206. come on, now, it ain't always that we want the

  207. reward publicly. Sometimes that we're willing to make the sacrifice publicly.

  208. I'm talking to somebody tonight, Why is.

  209. It that you're ashamed to worsen God privately?

  210. God comes doors in your own flear.

  211. Close it with. What's worse than that is our ten said.

  212. If you're ashamed of God the poor men, he will

  213. be ashamed of you. If you deny him a fir man,

  214. he will denoy you. Have you not received revelation you're wive?

  215. Oh?

  216. Have you not responded? It's because of this God showed me.

  217. You're embarrassed. It's the spirit of pride.

  218. We gotta be with him to kill the spear the pride.

  219. Probably, I've heard of homosexuals standing in the cause for years.

  220. That's because the best majority of people within humanity, and

  221. so me the vast majority of Americans, they would prefer

  222. that they remain in the clauset. In fact, I've heard

  223. Pentecostal and holiness preachers say that we would be better

  224. off in this country that they would go back into

  225. their clauset. Sister, but the saints of God are camping

  226. in the clauset when they should be proclaiming in the

  227. public streets and proclaiming in the public houses of worship.

  228. I'm telling you you need a burst out of the

  229. clause that I told some prayer warriors years ago, I said,

  230. I thank God for you stand in the Church of God.

  231. I thank God for every prayer meeting we've had for

  232. the prodigal sons and daughters that I said, I don't

  233. want to rebuke an order that while I was praying,

  234. God told me concerning you two sisters. He said, they

  235. can hide behind the buns, they can hide behind the standard,

  236. and they can bring in their prayercohols un to you.

  237. I come home, and it will not whatsoever. But they

  238. are too much if they don't put feet and hands

  239. to their prayers. I'm telling you the man in the

  240. upper room, they came out of the cell. I'm telling you,

  241. they came out of the upper room and they took

  242. it to the public.

  243. Oh, come hold, it ain't got to be a scene.

  244. That's that you are saying on a shame of the

  245. I am well, we're out of diw a Christian.

  246. I'm not ashamed of it.

  247. The very act of becoming a Christian requires us to

  248. confess publicly that we are followers of Christ. The teachings

  249. of Christianity are kept by people that confess Him publicly.

  250. In fact, one of the things that might be wrong

  251. with having a baptismal is the fact that people can

  252. make their public profession of faith in the company of

  253. people who could not possibly be persecutors. They could possibly

  254. be hypocrites. But I can take you to the island

  255. of Dominiuica. We don't have a baptismal. Pastor Douglas would

  256. tell you, we gotta take them out into the public.

  257. We try to avoid the sunbathers. Yes, that we have

  258. to make a public profession. Pastor Caleban and Pastor Brenda

  259. would tell you in the land of Kenya that you

  260. walk through the streets and you did come. You're making

  261. a public profession that could cost you your life.

  262. Have come on now.

  263. I wonder inspiration for some what's not only convenience, what's

  264. not only due to inclement weather?

  265. We could have baptism anyway.

  266. I wonder if the inspiration for some was you mean,

  267. as a preacher of the gospeler, I don't.

  268. Have to wait out there in.

  269. Live in water, in a living society, in the general public,

  270. because I'm telling somebody, if you're a shame to be baptized,

  271. he's a shame for you to get read. In many

  272. countries over this world, there are people that have to

  273. make a public confession before the general public, and Brother Caleb,

  274. the moment.

  275. They do so, they can receive a death threat.

  276. The very moment that they do so, governments will back

  277. up their persecutors and will allow their execution.

  278. Again, Jesus said, you.

  279. Go ahead and enter into your prayer closet, and you pray,

  280. and I will reward you publicly. I wonder how that

  281. reward will come. Will it come in the middle of

  282. a worship service, when you feel.

  283. An oction to worship.

  284. God like you never have before, Whenever you feel an

  285. option to shout to name Jesus like you never have before. Oh,

  286. come on a clause. At Christian it's someone who has

  287. a problem acknowledging being a Christian in publica or practicing

  288. their faith.

  289. Amongst other believers.

  290. I hear them say I'm pen a Coostal, but I

  291. never see a display or a dynamic come that's indicative

  292. I'm a pentecostal Christian and said I spoke in tongues

  293. ten years ago. Why didn't you speak in tongues ten

  294. minutes ago? They say, I had a good service and

  295. I got passed and I got, I got a shouting.

  296. And dancing, and I got bressed.

  297. How long has that been.

  298. Five years ago? Why wasn't it fifty minutes ago. I'm

  299. telling somebody, you gotta.

  300. Kill a spirit of pride. You your own fat prophet.

  301. You just said, it ain't pride, it's awkwardness. It's the

  302. spirital pride. I said, it's the.

  303. Spirit of that pride.

  304. Only my pride come with contention.

  305. If you're not going with the floor, If there's contention,

  306. that there's conflict, that the spirit of God's having to

  307. proud you and push you.

  308. The spirit of pride is in work.

  309. Because a humble child will gladly do whatever mom and

  310. dad has told them to do, not ask them to do.

  311. That's something you need to understand. God did not ask

  312. you to praise him.

  313. God man NATed it. God commanded it.

  314. And you know what.

  315. Pentecostal poured out of the upper room. Pentecosta poured out

  316. of the upper room into the city streets haw Jerusalem.

  317. I'm preaching to you. I ain't in nowhere near my notes.

  318. It don't matter if it was. There's some preacher they

  319. need some notes. But you know what, Peter, he become

  320. a public figure. He was no longer known as the

  321. fisherman throwing fish on the dock.

  322. He was no.

  323. Longer known as the merchant with commercial fishery. He is

  324. now standing in the city streets, and he's a preaching.

  325. They're not only preaching, honey, they are speaking in another language,

  326. speaking in many different languages.

  327. And two day isres.

  328. They have come to Jerusalem, hearing the speaker in their

  329. native languages from russoever they came. I'm telling you it,

  330. the Holy Gess moves on you in Walmart.

  331. You ought to obey God. He come on now, I.

  332. Know you should casta your purse, My poor swider, what

  333. the issue is?

  334. Will you come up out of the pause?

  335. That?

  336. Will you need to?

  337. Many Christians never walk out of their prayer closet. They

  338. never escape through their shell. These ostrich Christians never pull.

  339. Their heads out of the sand.

  340. I'm telling you, sister Wooton, Peter become a public figure,

  341. even more so overnight.

  342. You don't know. Peter had some things to say about

  343. this as well.

  344. Our brother read a cold text of Peter speaking in

  345. the words whereas this then Peter and the other apostles

  346. answered and said, we ought to obey.

  347. God rather than men.

  348. This was more than putting the thumbs in the ears

  349. and we doing the figures the fingers are saying that,

  350. not the.

  351. Boo boo, we are the great men of God.

  352. This was some men that's saying, we know what you're

  353. trying to do. You're trying to shut us down. You're

  354. trying to shut us up. Do you want the context

  355. of what Peter was talking about?

  356. Do you want it to? I feel like some of

  357. you need it, whether you want it to or not.

  358. Religious people just like some in this building, people that

  359. would not miss a service right.

  360. Here in the hub. What you they is, Why is

  361. Peter make us such a bold statement.

  362. It's because the Holy Ghost it's building the Church of

  363. Jesus Christ right in the epicenter. What you they is

  364. when Jesus said, you're a Peter upon this rocker, I

  365. build my church and that gains a hair shown to

  366. prevent a districture. He was talking about Annas Acomplice and

  367. the members.

  368. Of the Roman government.

  369. I'll build my church right here in the epicenter. Un

  370. to theism old my God. I'm telling you, when them

  371. me and put Peter in prison for doing what he

  372. was doing perfectly. He both count. I'm telling her, what

  373. a spiritual hel God. God's building a church right in

  374. front of your very eyes. God's making our young people

  375. Pentecostal right in front.

  376. Of your very eyes.

  377. These young people have walked out of their prayer causes

  378. have become practicing Tenecostal.

  379. Saints right in front of your very eyes.

  380. I'm telling you, Peter and the Apostles, by the power

  381. or the Holy Girls, We're building her.

  382. Churchill right in front of their eyes. Amen, Sis, the

  383. house of shouting, right in front of your eyes. She

  384. did it this morning.

  385. She did it tonight, Sister Wootons the tongue talking right before.

  386. Your very eyes. She did it this morning. She did

  387. it tonight. I felt liberty in my soul this morning.

  388. I feel liberty in my soul tonight, right in front

  389. of your very eyes. You see, the.

  390. Numbers of Christians is rapidly increasing, and the Jewish leaders

  391. are madly, insanely jealous, and they take action, and Brother Nathaniel,

  392. they apprehend and arrest some of the Apostles and put

  393. them in jail. But nearing the night behind closed doors,

  394. if you would, in their prayer of closet an angelill

  395. open the door and liberated God's men. What did the

  396. Angel say? What did the Angel say, Bible scholars? Did

  397. he say, go by, come into the prayer, calls it

  398. and praise secret to me?

  399. He didn't say, go and play secretly.

  400. No, he said go and staying, ride in the center

  401. of Jerusalem and preach again. They're in their caybon knuckles,

  402. They're in their synadolt, they preach it again. Hold, I

  403. can't just stand up. Let's say call it a god.

  404. Right in hockey the time of knuckle.

  405. He didn't say, crawl up behind the stopping popes.

  406. He didn't say when.

  407. The whole church is standing up and God is saying shot.

  408. He didn't say, crawl up under the pool and I like,

  409. you're praising him privately?

  410. How about about two? Don't think about that, my buck, Hey, ma'am.

  411. And you know what these men did. They did it publicly.

  412. They did it publicly. They were told by government, city.

  413. Officials and religious leaders not to utter a word.

  414. That's what your boss has been telling you for a

  415. good wile.

  416. Now, your pastor and your preacher, and the Holy ghost

  417. here and Jesus has been telling you for a good

  418. wile now you better get loose. You better shake loose.

  419. You better praise the little publicly, right in the midst

  420. of the congregation. You better show you one of less.

  421. You better manifest your identity.

  422. You better reveal who you are.

  423. You can't worship him in secret. I'm telling you. Those

  424. that worship him secretly, they worship him publicly. Those that

  425. worship him purely pile, they worship him publicly. Your boss

  426. has been telling you for now while now they your profit.

  427. The devil has been telling you for a while. Now

  428. you ain't supposed to get loud. Your boss has been

  429. telling you for a while now.

  430. He worshiped God. His secret with God, city courtet.

  431. Why inside and down the road it happened.

  432. What in the world he's wrong with that? I said,

  433. what in the lode? Here's long with that? Everything is

  434. love with that?

  435. The angel said, go and stand in the temple and

  436. preach the words of this life. But I've been arrested,

  437. I've been made fun of. I've been in prison for

  438. this very thing. Do it again, do it again? Will

  439. I worship God? Years ago? I shouted, I had a

  440. break three years ago, get one again, do it again.

  441. I'll come out of the calls it years ago. Why

  442. don't you go back into the closet.

  443. Hey, it's time.

  444. When we pushed the Christians out of the closet, the

  445. homoseensuals came out, and the Christians walked in. I said,

  446. the homosexuals came out of the Christians walked in.

  447. Don't tell me. I don't know what I'm talking about.

  448. The very few churches anymore have a desire whatsoever to

  449. reach outside the poor wharf.

  450. It's time somebody called out of the shell.

  451. What was it, William mccatherine Booth or somebody had over

  452. the doors of their sanctuaries, their little meeting houses, their places.

  453. Of public worship.

  454. Wasn't it something like you come in in order to receive,

  455. and you go out to serve.

  456. There was something along them like, hey, this church and

  457. that church, this church and that church. Who calling that

  458. to keep from name calling.

  459. They have no desire whatsoever to knock on somebody's door

  460. and say, here is a fire, we'd love to have

  461. you at church.

  462. When these men of God proclaimed the word of.

  463. God the way they did. When Mary Magdalene walked past

  464. the wonly gone to get to where Jesus was that

  465. she was not a closet and prayer warrior. She was

  466. not a clause a praise warrior. She got out into

  467. public and asked everybody that would answer her, where is he?

  468. Where? Oh?

  469. Where he is he? These men did what the Lord

  470. wanted them to do publicly.

  471. I feel like tonight God's gonna tell somebody you go

  472. and you stand and you proclaim His goodness publicly.

  473. And if you don't know about God.

  474. God may tell you to go out there and just

  475. come on Saturday and stand roadside and do it. I'm

  476. telling you're playing with fire because God has let me know.

  477. You're ashamed of him. You're in parised. It doesn't matter

  478. how sweet you are, it doesn't matter how egret you

  479. are about worship.

  480. Anybody that comes from a background that told us not

  481. to worship was evident with somebody.

  482. That didn't really read.

  483. Their Bible, because how can you get around.

  484. The corporate way.

  485. My the Father Lord with me, He love us, insult

  486. His name.

  487. Together together.

  488. Together.

  489. Yes, David could do it. Yes aesuph could do it.

  490. Yes the priest could do it. Y'all listen to what

  491. Peter and these men of God began to tell those

  492. religious leaders. Brother Rod Cap, they began to call names.

  493. These men had.

  494. Spent three and a half years with Jesus. He did

  495. not do anything privately.

  496. Hey, the Apostle Paul had an out take on that

  497. brother rod Cap. What did the apostle Paul have to

  498. say about these things that Jesus did?

  499. He said, in midday, old King, I saw on the

  500. way of life from heaven above the brightness of the

  501. sun shining round about me. And then with journey with me,

  502. we were falling to the ground, and heard a voice

  503. speaking unto me and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul,

  504. while persecutest thou me, It's hard for THEE to kick

  505. against the Prince.

  506. I said, who art thou Lord?

  507. He said, I'm Jesus, whom thou persecutest. But rise and

  508. stand upon thy feet. For I have appeared under THEE

  509. for this purpose, to make THEE a minister, and to

  510. witness both of these things which thou hast seen in

  511. those things which appear unto THEE, delivering THEE from the people,

  512. from the gentiles of whom now send THEE to open

  513. their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light.

  514. From the power of Satan. To God, that they.

  515. May receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance of them among

  516. them which are sanctified by the faith which.

  517. Is in me.

  518. He said, whereupon, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient

  519. under the heavenly vision.

  520. And as he does faiths.

  521. Faith for himself fast, as said of the loved Forst. Paul,

  522. thou art beside thyself, much.

  523. Learning doth make thee man. And he said, I am

  524. not mad amen.

  525. Most novel festus, but speak for it the words of

  526. truth and soberness. For the King knoweth of these things

  527. before which I speak freely.

  528. For I am.

  529. Persuaded that none of these are hidden from him.

  530. And this state was not done in a corner.

  531. Read again, for this persuaded that the King knoweth these things.

  532. And none of these things were done in a corner.

  533. None of these things were done in a corner. The

  534. apostle Paul's conversion was.

  535. Done in the public, amongst people that were with him

  536. with the same desire to persecute Christians. It was done

  537. in public, just like a public profession of faith, just

  538. like an open altar invitation, come center for him, come

  539. down right here in the middle of this church house

  540. and receive Jesus Christ. A lot of you got saved

  541. in a church house. Apostle Paul went to the house

  542. a dear.

  543. Brother and a nus Anna.

  544. Knaus was nervous about Paul being present because Paul was

  545. never a shame to do what he was supposed to do,

  546. just like Matthew. He was called to do what he

  547. did with Jesus because he was never concerned about.

  548. What other people thought about him. Are y'all getting there? So?

  549. I'm telling you that candidate said, are these great men

  550. of God.

  551. To do what they did and become the apostle said.

  552. That they were was because they were not at all

  553. concerned about what somebody else all around them.

  554. I'm knocking on somebody's door.

  555. I'm standing right up front of some people in this

  556. building tonight. When you think of Matthew, he arose and

  557. followed Jesus. When you think of Peter's deliverates publicly, he

  558. was to go and stand.

  559. When you think of Apostle Paul, he was to go

  560. there and the stand.

  561. Who was he talking to Christos? He was standing in

  562. front of the governor. He's standing in front of King Agrippa.

  563. On another day, he's standing in front of the court

  564. to nero hold another day.

  565. This thing is not ever.

  566. Gonna be done in a prayer calls it only it has.

  567. Little been done in a corner.

  568. I'm telling you, look, somebody better come out of the

  569. corner Tonata. Somebody to come out on the cause of Tonata.

  570. You need to be liberated.

  571. And I a saying that, praising the Lord. Y'all.

  572. Remember what Jesus had the apostles tell them people, Huh,

  573. we're not careful at all. We're not careful at all.

  574. Answer you can, We're not careful. Never can as We're

  575. not careful, nor we concerned to speak up. We're not careful,

  576. nor are we concerned to stick out like a sore thumb.

  577. We're not concerned at all about rejecting your ultimatum publicly.

  578. While all of the governors of the land are bowing

  579. and kissing the dirt, they stood there. I'm telling you

  580. you don't feel like you have to stand and worship publicly.

  581. I am proving scripturally right here that whether man or woman,

  582. these people at times had to take posture position publicly.

  583. They had to step out and profess their faith. They

  584. had to stand for what they believed them, and they

  585. had to practice what they preached. What about our dear savior.

  586. Whenever he came into the temple that day, brother Caleb,

  587. he walked in and he observed some things that were

  588. being practiced that should not have been. He was observing

  589. a convenience religion, a religion of convenience. We'll just pick

  590. up our sacrifice. Luck we picked up a big Mike

  591. sandwich from McDonald's drive through. We'll just go to the

  592. table and we'll get some turtle doves. I'll spin a

  593. little extra, and i'll get a spotless lamb.

  594. I'll spin a little.

  595. Extra, and I'll get this, and I'll get that. Jesus

  596. walked in and saw all them calls that it a

  597. praise worshipers.

  598. He saw them hiding behind this, and that he came in.

  599. He overturned publicly. The tables are the money changers, the

  600. Bible said. He overturned the seats of them that sold doves.

  601. He did that publicly.

  602. And you know what, he had some choice of expressions

  603. and praises with the hypocrites that were in the building.

  604. And I want to give it to some of you

  605. here tonight.

  606. Woe to you.

  607. Is what Jesus said. Jesus went a little further than

  608. I'm willing to go. He said, you all are hypocrites.

  609. And another time he said, you are so blad O.

  610. Come on, you have not received relation willingly, and you

  611. had not responded to the revelation and night that God

  612. has called you to be one of the true worshipers

  613. that worship college spirit and being true, It's true that

  614. Peter didn't come in like Jesus did, tossing furniture a realm.

  615. It's true that Peter's personality wasn't quite exactly just like

  616. Jesus was, because he was not the son of God

  617. and he could not demand to be worshiped to sovereign.

  618. It is true that Peter's temper was tempered just a

  619. little bit, But you know what, he didn't back down

  620. one bit when it come to public worship. He didn't

  621. back down one bit when it come to public preaching.

  622. Look at our gold in textas and this is what

  623. I'm preaching about four to seven of you, and I

  624. love you dearly. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,

  625. I'm yet to hear you can fast at Jesus's lord.

  626. Ha ha haa haaha. I feel like you're saying it

  627. in here. I feel like you're.

  628. Expressing in here, But I'm yet to hear you stand

  629. up like these preachers have done, come hell or high

  630. water and declare his lordship. Hoh, come on, what's going on?

  631. Aren't you a disciple? Aren't you a follower? Aren't you

  632. willing to go with him every step of the way.

  633. I really wonder, I really wonder, because we have not

  634. showed the brotherhood and the sister led that's your one

  635. of us. I said, we will, who worship him, grant

  636. me tibra whosoever there fors y'all confess me before me

  637. and him? Will I confess also before my father, which

  638. is in heaven.

  639. Your little pepsqueak worship and pepsqueak praise, Adeluia you thank God.

  640. Here's it.

  641. When you're supposed to do whatever you do with all

  642. your heart, your mind, all your strength, with every fiber

  643. of your building that temple that's his. In the sixteenth

  644. chapter of this same gospel, we find Jesus approaching the

  645. coast of Cesare Philippi. He had a question to ask

  646. his disciples. As he's walking along with him. He asked

  647. them to question, who do men say that I am?

  648. And they answered and said, well, some say it's John

  649. the Baptist preaching, some say it's Jeremiah the prophet, some

  650. say it's Isaiah the Prophet. And Jesus turned and faced

  651. off with them and said, but who do you say

  652. that I am?

  653. And you know what? Peter said, thou art the Christ,

  654. the son of the Living God.

  655. And Jesus said, Peter, bless him blood, ust not reveal

  656. this under you, but my heavenly father. Hey, I'm yet

  657. to hear you confess to ship. I'm yet to hear

  658. you testify that God's kid all the time.

  659. I'm yet to hear you testify her and seek descending health.

  660. I'm yet to hear you say he God.

  661. Is good her, Yes, he is her, He's good all

  662. the timer.

  663. What's a problem, I said.

  664. What's your problem? He are you?

  665. I'm as say, oh, are you not?

  666. Are you what?

  667. Ever? Sir? Here?

  668. Are you not confessing to her me?

  669. And there I said, confess him.

  670. The poor men there, Jesus said, everybody who confesses me

  671. before men, that is publicly, will be acknowledging.

  672. By me and before my heaven and Father.

  673. How many today are nonpracticing claus of the Christians. My Jesus,

  674. you saynd like Joseph of.

  675. Arimathea and Nicodema.

  676. You know Nicodemus met with Jesus privately. I'd like to

  677. talk to you, Hound of the black Belt sky. I'd

  678. like to talk to you behind the building. I'm locked

  679. to talk to you in secretive. Ally, I know what

  680. a preacher said, but I'd rather talk to the preacher

  681. about my praise and worship.

  682. With him and his wife in the office.

  683. In private. I'd like to send what I need to

  684. say in a text message. Just sister, howell in private?

  685. Or come on now?

  686. You ain't with me right here tonight? Oh you some

  687. of you letting me pull the wagon by myself, and

  688. I'm only talking afoord of seven of you. Oh my

  689. God in heaven, I've never felt like anybody like that

  690. has worked the soccer in their body. There ought to

  691. be a praise and continuing in your mountain. We're in

  692. private pour in purblat. We praise him in front of

  693. other disciples.

  694. We praise him before me.

  695. We confess him before men, we confess him before spouses,

  696. we confess him before bolfriend and girlfriend. We confessed him.

  697. Worshiping private is wonderful. Worshiping him in private is wonderful,

  698. but so is worshiping him publicly. I'm trying to hurry.

  699. I think I've said enough for you to understand this

  700. God's will that you praise him publicly. The night some

  701. of us were born again, we walked down publicly. We

  702. have got right before God publicly. Not everybody's been saved

  703. in a public setting. I'm telling you, though Matthew was

  704. a public figure, he was somebody that was recognized.

  705. So was Paul, so was Peter.

  706. This thing's never been done in the corner. There's never

  707. gonna be cause of the Christians get by. You can't

  708. do wrong and get by, no matter how hard you try.

  709. I'm telling you, these claus are Christians. There's forty seven

  710. of you in our midst between seventy and eight of

  711. us in this building, but there's four to seven of you.

  712. It's scary how quiet you are. Y'all know.

  713. I've never felt like I can trust the quiet ones,

  714. I said. I've never felt like I could trust the

  715. quiet ones. I've never felt like I could trust them

  716. around my children. I never felt like I could trust.

  717. Them around my church.

  718. I've never trusted them quiet ones, You know what I'm saying.

  719. Because of the Bible set out of the abundance of

  720. the heart, the mouth speaks. And when I never hear

  721. their mouth speaking the high praises of God, I realize

  722. it ain't in there. You can say I've got private

  723. worship going on. I'm having a private pentecostal inside of

  724. my soul. Really, why does it not show up on

  725. the outside. Why does it not show up by expressing.

  726. The words, Hey, come on, I don't care how backwards

  727. you are. I don't care how fastl you are, how

  728. backwards you are. God told you, if.

  729. You're His you will confess him before men, and you

  730. will go ahead that proclaim his word publicly. Nicodemus, he

  731. is one of those men, Brother Jesse. He's somebody. He

  732. is somebody in the religion of Judaism. He's somebody that

  733. knows the pentatout I'm telling you, somebody that knows the

  734. Old Covenant inside and out. And he's also somebody that

  735. knows there's something to this man Jesus. And so when

  736. it gets privately, he's asking, how can I be converted?

  737. How can I become one of these? But you know what,

  738. Brother Nathaniels, you study the life from Nicodemus, you find

  739. that he starts speaking out, and that's what blesses us.

  740. That's what identifies him as a prospect to be a believer.

  741. That's what gives us the signals that this man is

  742. becoming one of us. It's because Nicodemus starts standing up

  743. for Jesus in the list.

  744. Of the council.

  745. He starts speaking out of turn, and he starts speaking up.

  746. And the same goes for Joseph of Arimathea. But can

  747. I tell you Jesus was crucified. Joseph of Arimathea regretted

  748. not doing some things publicly, and that very wealthy businessman,

  749. he went publicly to the governor's officer, and he boldly

  750. craved the body of Christ. I said, he boldly crave

  751. the body of Christ. But sister Howell, he did not

  752. do it alone. Nicodemus, he came over there. And you

  753. know what, these men are no longer secretly and privately

  754. followers of Jesus. They're walking out there in front of

  755. God and everybody.

  756. They are not ashamed for the man that died for

  757. them publicly.

  758. I said, they're not a shame of a man to

  759. put one hand to the beam and another hand to

  760. the beam.

  761. A stripped naked publicly and died for them.

  762. Oh my God, if you just learn how to crave

  763. to worship him Christ, I'll tell us somebody him miss

  764. me on a good night. Nicodemus would tell you it

  765. don't work when it is tunny secret. There's no blessing

  766. at all when it's in the calls. I said, this

  767. time you come up out of the calls.

  768. This time you've come.

  769. Over the calls. I could hear it now.

  770. Brother Nathaniel represents Nicodemus, Brother Jesse represents Joseph Avermatheah. If

  771. them two officers of your two's are unlocked going them doors,

  772. I'm putting a call on you right here, sister Wooten.

  773. They had been a causeted worshiper, brother Brock when the

  774. Sanhedrin talked, these men said, we all know there's something

  775. to it. You know why Gamaliel did not get to

  776. join Apostle Paul when he wrote the Ponine Epistles, because

  777. Gamalil remained undecided. If it's a God, it'll sort itself out.

  778. But there was a little schoolboy that had been sitting

  779. at the feet of Gamaliel.

  780. He said, you know what, we all know there's something

  781. to this.

  782. And I got saved down there on a street side service.

  783. Oh my God.

  784. And you know what, when Joseph and Nicodemus got tired

  785. of meeting privately, and they got tired of worshiping privately,

  786. they burst out of their offices. They come on in

  787. the hub of two the years from the center of Jerusalm,

  788. the epicenter, and they said, you don't want It's time

  789. that we confess him before me.

  790. It's tired, and.

  791. We acknowledge him as king of kings and Lord up

  792. for lords. What about you right now? Are you willing

  793. the public thing acknowledge? Give them her pass your round, heady.

  794. Somebody needs to publicly step out, and somebody he needs

  795. to publicly hecky, speak up.

  796. It's time to all to service.

  797. Somebody needs to publicly step out.

  798. Somebody needs to publicly speak out.

  799. Nicodemus couldn't go by nye.

  800. Indefinitely, I said.

  801. Nicodemus couldn't go by night indefinitely.

  802. Apostle Paul said, for I am not ashamed of the

  803. Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God

  804. on the salvation of everyone the believer to the Chief

  805. first and also to their Greek. So many can apostle

  806. and holding his Christians now are trying to blend in

  807. with us. Look at the of this wicked, simful world.

  808. They sure are, they sure are. Here's how they're doing it,

  809. like Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. For right now we're

  810. gonna go back in on calls. It It ain't sister

  811. how you're.

  812. Waiting on tonight. Jesus is waiting on you. It's not

  813. sister waiting you're waiting on tonight. This is not Brother Jesse,

  814. Nor is it Brother Lathaniel.

  815. You're waiting on tonight. It's not Brother Philip you're waiting

  816. on tonight. I don't know where you need to stand,

  817. but I know somebody syster how they need to stand

  818. up and they need to speak out publicly. I don't

  819. know who it is, brother Brock, but I've seen you

  820. do it. I've seen Brother Brock get on this platform,

  821. stand up and speak out publicly. I've seen Brother Richard

  822. Jacobs stand up and speak out publicly. I've seen Brother

  823. Jonathan Larrymore Sr. Stand up and speak out publicly. I've

  824. seen brother Justin Road Cat stand up and speak out

  825. publicly for years, right here in.

  826. The front of this polpire. Sister, I just know that

  827. God just showed me who you are. Sister. You know

  828. what you want to do. It's time that you come

  829. out of the closet.

  830. It's time that you shake yourself out of that shell.

  831. If you don't do it tonight, I don't know that

  832. you'll ever do it.

  833. I a preave to to you spiritually that you're supposed

  834. to worship God publicly.

  835. We'll get about yourself and concentrate on Him. Right They spilled.

  836. Out into the streets from the upper room. They spilled

  837. out of their pay of calls. It's into the general public.

  838. Sister, Sister, you better they God tonight.

  839. I'm telling you, brother, brother, you better not be ashamed

  840. of the Lord. If I was a brother, after watching

  841. my pastor preach himself Holmost to death, there is no

  842. way how we let the spirit.

  843. Of Cride beat me back tonight.

  844. If you're a brother and you know you need to

  845. make a public profession, I believe like itn't it punishes

  846. to how this space always stays open when it comes

  847. time to do something, isn't it something? How this particular

  848. space always remains void and vacant when we know we're

  849. supposed to do something. You know what when Nicodemus came

  850. out of the cause it as a Christian, sister, how

  851. there was no longer a doubt in anyone else's mind

  852. that he was a Christian.

  853. And that's what I'm telling you, sister.

  854. It's a guess on our part whether or not to

  855. one of us because of your life.

  856. Because what does for public profession? Told my godter, but

  857. I check that. Jesus said, if.

  858. You don't confess it before me, I will not confess you.

  859. Preform my comely.
