-
Okay again John, chapter number seven. May I direct your
-
attention to verses number thirty seven through thirty nine. Brother Nathaniel,
-
would you read Acts chapter number nineteen and verses number
-
two through four. My brother, he said.
-
Unto them, have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?
-
And they said, unto him, we have not so much
-
as heard whether there be any Holy ghost? And he said,
-
undo them. And he said under them, what then were
-
you baptized? And they say, unto him John's baptism. Then
-
said Paul, John fairly baptized with the baptism of repentance,
-
saying under the people that they should believe on him,
-
which should come after him, that is on Christ.
-
Jesus, Amen, Brother Jesse. Salm chapter number forty two and
-
verse number seven, Deep Caleth, unto Deep, at the noise
-
of thy water spouts all thy waves, and thy billows
-
are gone over me. Amen, you've guessed that the Lord
-
spoke into my heart that he wants to fill some
-
more with his sweet Holy Ghost. And I'm just a
-
male man here tonight. I'd love to see you walk
-
out of here just full of the Holy Ghost. Let's
-
stand for the reading of our Golden Text John chapter
-
number seven, Verse number thirty seven through thirty nine. The
-
Bible says, in the last day, the great day of
-
the Feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst,
-
let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth
-
on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his
-
belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake
-
he of the spirit, which they that believe on him
-
should receive. For the Holy Ghost was not yet given,
-
because that Jesus was not yet glorified. Could we pray,
-
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to be
-
in this thy house, among this people. I pray that
-
you would anoint their ears, set a guard at their ears,
-
and help to hear what the Spirit of God says
-
unto the church. Not of my words, but of your words.
-
I pray that you would anoint this thy servant. I
-
need your help desperately. Set a guard at my mouth,
-
and help me to say the things you would have
-
me to say, nothing more or less. I pray that
-
these sayings would go below the shoulders. Let them saturate
-
the soul and the spirit of men, women, boys and girls.
-
And may we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowly,
-
in Jesus's name. And the church said, Amen, as you're
-
being seated, look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,
-
you gotta trust the Transition. I want to preach a
-
message the Holy Ghost titled Trusting the Transition. Our text
-
is found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible,
-
the Book of John. In the seventh chapter we find
-
a record of Jesus attending one of the many Jewish feasts,
-
namely the Feast of Tabernacles.
-
If you'll have a look at verse.
-
Number one, you'll get clued in there as to what
-
this celebration is all about. And during this time the
-
Lord made an appearance. Aren't you thankful that the Lord
-
made an appearance at eleven fifty three Cornelia Drive tonight
-
as more than two or three saints are gathered together
-
in his name. I'm thankful that not only did he
-
make an appearance at such a feast as this here
-
in this narrative, but that He has made an appearance
-
with us here tonight. During this particular time, it would
-
have been a festive time of the year for Jewish people,
-
and it wouldn't have been considered strange at all to
-
have had the miracle worker amongst them. In fact, the
-
Lord Jesus had been very active in his earthly public ministry,
-
and at this time he is wildly popular. If you would,
-
this is another transitional moment in the ministry of Jesus.
-
This is the beginning of the ending.
-
Again, I'm preaching a message the Holy Ghost titled Trusting
-
the Transition. And so this is the beginning of the
-
ending of the Lord's earthly ministry. And even though the
-
Lord is so wildly popular, there are people that will
-
be there during this festivity that despise him. One biblical
-
author said that these men envy him without a cause.
-
In other words, there's no reason at all whatsoever for
-
their sentiments and their feelings concerning the Lord. The only
-
thing that we can deduce is that he is such
-
a great guy, such a wonderful person, who is so
-
highly anointed, and so mindful of the least, the lost,
-
and the lonely, that the goodness if God Almighty is
-
upon him, and his ministry is fruitful, bearing evidence through
-
signs and wonders and notable miracles, And so people conclude
-
this man is Messiah others day's a miracle worker and
-
others are trying to figure out who he is.
-
Are you getting it?
-
Christ at this time is a celebrity in that part
-
of the world, Brother Chief roy and he would have
-
been wildly popular amongst Jewish people, Samaritans, and other people
-
of different nationalities. And when he comes to the big celebration,
-
he doesn't roll in on the back of a camel.
-
Or in a rolls Royce.
-
This man that made himself of no reputation walks in
-
humbly and meekly, and these Jewish leaders they begin to
-
despise him. So not only is Jesus present, Jewish leaders
-
are prayers. The Holy One is present, and so are
-
the hypocrites.
-
They know that.
-
Judaism is going through a transition and that there will
-
be a lot of Jewish and gentile people that will
-
slowly but surely transition from Judaism to Jesus, and jealousy
-
is their answer. Rather than surrendering their hearts through humility
-
and sincerity in obeisance to Jesus, they decide that they
-
must put a stop to the words of his mouth
-
and Brother Jesse. The first verse of this seventh chapter
-
tells us the readers. Why the Lord would have been
-
hesitant or reluctant to make such an appearance during the
-
Jewish feast in times of celebration. In fact, verse number
-
one says, for he would not walk in Jewish because
-
the Jews sought.
-
To kill him.
-
One country bumpkin, illiterate preacher who meant well, said, see there,
-
our Lord was against jewelry, it said right there, for
-
he would not walk in jewelry.
-
But the Lord would not walk amongst the Jewish.
-
People because of this reason, And it's reason enough they
-
want to kill him. Who would think such a thing?
-
Is that concerning such a wonderful man? It bewilders me
-
how easily people are offended by the Lord's words. Perhaps
-
the words of your Sunday school teacher this morning slightly
-
offended you, But I doubt you drew the conclusion that
-
they should be taken out behind the oak tree out.
-
Back and murdered because of their topic.
-
No, I'm all struck at times when I see how
-
many people that profess to be Christians choose a reaction
-
such as this, namely hostility. Why did they choose to
-
be hostile instead of be humble?
-
Brother?
-
Road cap I'll never understand while somebody would choose hostility
-
over humility, at this time, Jesus was experiencing growing hostility
-
from the Jewish leaders.
-
In fact, the Lord is not doing.
-
Too well with this time of transition that he has
-
to trust the process.
-
You'll find as.
-
He gets closer to the end, he goes into the
-
Garden of Goosemite.
-
To pray it through.
-
Or how benefited we would be if we would praise
-
some things through, just like the Lord is Savior Jesus
-
Christ chose to do. You will remember the earthly nature
-
of the God Man.
-
Said, it is not my will that I slowly, but
-
surely go through this.
-
Transition as the miracle man to the Messiah.
-
That gave his life for the world.
-
He could have remained a miracle man and said that's it.
-
And brother chip Roy elected to go back to the
-
throne of his father. But he went through with it.
-
And I want you to know there's somebody or some
-
people in this building who need to.
-
Trust the process. I've got an uncle.
-
He's probably around the age of sixty five at this time.
-
He pastors and what.
-
Some would consider to be a megachurch where five to
-
seven hundred are in attendance at various times, and recently
-
he suffered a massive stroke that rendered him in mobile.
-
For the most part, I have set with him.
-
I've looked at him eyeball to eyeball, and I have
-
watched him and navigated the process. I know that his
-
church people believe in the Messiah. They believe in the
-
miraculous power of the Lord God, and they've been praying
-
day and night on end for a miracle for their passion,
-
and a miracle after some time has not come. His
-
words to me was one night I just settled it
-
in my heart that I've got to trust the process.
-
I did not think of this example prior to preaching.
-
This has come to mind right now while I'm a preaching,
-
and you know what, I have seen him slowly but
-
surely begin to rehabilitate himself. He is a person that
-
holds title records in the state of Indiana track records.
-
He's an athlete. In other words, his name is on
-
the board in the hallway near the principal's office.
-
More than likely. But if you were to.
-
Ask him tonight to try to match that time, to
-
match that record, or to beat that record, he would
-
say there's no way I will ever run again unless
-
I experience a miracle.
-
I'm going somewhere. You hang taught with me here tonight.
-
In John chapter number fifteen, in verse number eight, we
-
find John's record of a warning from the Lord, and
-
Jesus said, if the world hate you, ye know that
-
it hated me before it hated you.
-
The Lord will.
-
Never ask you to do something that he himself has
-
not done. He told you to be holy in this
-
world after he came into this world and was holy.
-
He told you to strive to be perfect after he
-
himself came into this world and lived alife that was spotless, impeccable,
-
and no unblemish.
-
It's every bit that our Lord Jesus was.
-
One that had an endurance second to nobody. He was
-
one that trusted the process and trusted the transition, Oh
-
brother Nathaniel. He endured hardness as a good soldier and
-
didn't allow the critics and the skeptics to hinder him
-
or harm his ministry, especially when it came to the
-
outpouring of the Holy Ghost. I want you to get
-
the imagery that is painted here in this narrative. The
-
true story about our Lord here is during the feast
-
of the tyburn Knuckles. He comes into the place where
-
a lot of Jews would have been, and because he's
-
wildly popular, a lot if not all eyes or own him.
-
He's a heavily persecuted Jesus by Simon. And at some
-
point on the last day, the Lord Jesus stood up
-
and he cried, if any man first to let him
-
come unto me and drink, think about his behavior, Think
-
about his manner here, think about what he's doing. This
-
would have been totally, absolutely unacceptable for him to stand
-
up and a fantatically declare that's a thing. And he says,
-
he the believer told me, as the scripture has said,
-
out of his belly chauffeul rivers of living water. The
-
apostle John used verse number thirty nine to explain to
-
everyone what they should know about what Jesus was saying,
-
and John, in parenthese says he the Lord was speaking
-
of the holy ghost the believers would receive after he
-
was glorified. In the Book of Backs, around the nineteenth chapter,
-
the apostle Paula he was.
-
Coming through an area where a man.
-
Name Apaulis and had been preaching, and brother Nathaniel Luca.
-
He gives us the record of what happened.
-
There were some people in a season or a time
-
of transition, and Apostle Paul asked him about their experience
-
and their transition from the Judaism to John's baptism. But
-
what they need to do is go on under perfection,
-
and they need the transition from John's baptism under Jesus's baptism. Heaven, John,
-
hurry on in this ministry, he said, I've got to
-
go through a time of transition. I've been baptizing everybody
-
in water in the name of my first cousin. But
-
there's gonna come a time that I must decrease and
-
he must increase. You'll go from being wrecked after the
-
baptizer named John baptizes to be in baptizer in fire
-
by the Lord Savior Jesus Christ. I'm telling her, somebody
-
in this building tonight.
-
It is a time of transition up for you.
-
It made me a rapid processor or a slow processor.
-
But the time for change has come, I said. The
-
timer for change has come.
-
For all of you holy ghost seekers.
-
I'm here to tell you tonight ye shall be filled
-
with the Holy ghost I'm here to ask you to
-
receive the Holy Ghost. And so while he's on his
-
third missionary journey, Apostle Paul goes through Corinth.
-
And he finds these believers and one.
-
Of the first questions he asked him is have you
-
received the Holy Ghost since you believed?
-
And they said, into him we have not. Some more has.
-
Heard whether that be any holy Ghost. I'm preaching the
-
people to Knight that know very well who the Holy
-
Ghost is. He needs no introduction.
-
You know who he is.
-
And these precious people her breakfaces had heard a man
-
come true name of Polas who was preaching. He took
-
him from Judaism to John's baptism, but he couldn't take
-
them to Jesus's baptism. And I'm telling you here the night,
-
there's one man that can take you through to His
-
honor baptism.
-
And that man he's the Lord and the Savior of
-
the world, Jesus Christ. Amen.
-
Whenever the Lord walked on the seashore at different times,
-
he spoke to commercial fishermen and he said, I want
-
you to leave your time of prosperity and your time
-
of job certainty, and I want you to follow me
-
and the Bible said, immediately they left their nets, they
-
left their coworkers, they left their employers, they left their employees,
-
and they left their boats.
-
And they began, sister Howell, this time of transition.
-
And they went from being the famous fishermen on the
-
Sea of Galilee to be.
-
In understudies of the Messiah.
-
And you know what, Brother Nathaniel, I feel like eleven
-
out of twelve knew they better trust the process. The
-
one named Judas who would not trust the transition. He
-
was always trying to outtake the will of God. He
-
was always trying to figure out, what can we.
-
Do in this hearse? What kind of kingdom can we
-
build in this hearth?
-
And Jesus would tell him, my kingdom is not of
-
this earth. And I want to tell somebody in this
-
building the night, don't be like the trade or do this.
-
Don't look for something in this hearth. I'm telling you.
-
It comes from within you. He comes supernaturally, he comes spiritually,
-
it comes mysteriously. It is the sweeter Holy Ghost. So
-
eleven of the twelve they trust the transition. And it's
-
easier said than done. I'm sure there were a lot
-
of people, hundreds, if not thousands that would not have
-
obeyed his command and accepted the commission. Generation has no
-
problem whatsoever at all with transitioning. In fact, a lot
-
of you in this building tonight you have worked with
-
somebody that has transitioned from one gender to the other.
-
I remember hearing somebody tell me years ago, depending on
-
how much money they got, depending upon how many treatments
-
they want to endure in a set period of time,
-
the transition may take anywhere from two years to five years.
-
Brother Chiff Roy, you would creep me out if you
-
told me tonight I'm gonna begin the slow but sure
-
process of transitioning from chip to chip hat. I would
-
never let him preach for me again. And I know
-
there's something wrong with Chiff Roy. You see, transition is
-
something that can take play slowly, or it can take
-
place rapidly. But change it happened suddenly. And I want
-
you to know here tonight, as Christians, we have been
-
slowly but surely transitioning from this world to another world.
-
And the Apostle said, one day we shall be changed.
-
And as long as you live in that fleshly body,
-
you will need to transition, You will need to improve
-
you will need to grow in grace. You will need
-
to grow in stature and in the knowledge of the Lord,
-
and say to Jesus Christ Amen. Even about Jesus, it
-
was said, if you'd look at him after he was
-
at the age of twelve, that he was growing in stature.
-
In other ways, he was being enlarge. In another ways,
-
he was increasing in measure. Brother Nathaniel, I feel like
-
that is what is going on here at Tibethel Holiness Church,
-
that God has put it in somebody's heart to begin
-
a time of transition. I remember it was around the
-
beginning of twenty twenty three when Brother Jesse said something
-
happened in his heart, and he said, I just felt it.
-
I didn't fully understand it, but I felt a tug
-
for the glory world to draw nigh to God. And
-
somehow I knew I had received the summons to appear
-
where he is.
-
And Brother Jesse said it wasn't but a couple of months.
-
That night, in a service, I was asking the church
-
together and to pray for Brother Nathaniel and his dear
-
family that had been afflicted of the death. And while
-
we were praying, I since the brother Jesse is still
-
the pastor's son.
-
He is still the church pianist.
-
He's never taught a Sunday School lesson, he's never preached
-
a message.
-
He hasn't talked in tongues.
-
All of the reasons why because he has not to
-
receive the Holy Ghost of since he believed. I don't
-
know how old you were when you received the Holy Ghost,
-
probably twenty six years of age. He had been in
-
the pastor's house. He had heard the same messages everybody
-
else had heard. He had been in the same revivals
-
everyone else had been in. Brother Jesse was annoying and yes,
-
but he did not have what you saw him have tonight.
-
What God needed to do.
-
Was transition brother Jesse from a believer to a spirit
-
bill believer. And I want to tell some people in
-
this building tonight you can walk out of this building
-
now saying I've always loved him, I've always been a believer,
-
But tonight I am a spirital feal believer. Oh, if
-
you'll just trust the transition and embrace the change.
-
Amen.
-
Imagine again, Jesus in the middle of a feast and
-
just hollering out if any man urst. And that's what
-
your pastor's doing here. Tonight, Sister Howell, somebody is thirsty
-
for the good things of God. And what I want
-
you to notice, I've never noticed it. I've been in
-
church nearly fifty years, been preaching twenty something years, been
-
teaching Sunday school for probably thirty something years, Brother Nathaniel,
-
I've never thought of it like this until the Holy
-
Ghost brought this to mine this weekend, Sister Howell.
-
The first question Paul.
-
Wants to know about these students of Apollos is are
-
your spirit filled? I get it that your believer because Apolos,
-
according to Luke the Position, he's an eloquent speaker. According
-
to Luke the Beloved Position, he is definitely zealous, He's
-
definitely passionate, and he's able to persuade the Jews that
-
Jesus was the Christ of Paul doesn't come in and
-
try to discredit the labors or the ministry of apolosy,
-
but he wants to ask them a question.
-
It is the premier question that we need to ask
-
most believers of all church affiliations and denominations today.
-
Are your spirit filled? Have you received the Holy Ghost?
-
Did Paul get that question, Sister Howell? Light bulbs about
-
to appear over your head. I hope it goes from
-
being a lot bulba to a tongue of piere. You
-
know where Paul got that question our gold in text.
-
If any man he's thirsty, let him come unto me.
-
You know what he goes on to say, out of
-
his belly shall over rivers of living water.
-
Jesus was saying, I know you're here in church.
-
I know the religious leaders are over there, but your
-
parts to spiritually.
-
But you're missing something.
-
You're partying enough, you're feasting up, you're having a good time,
-
but you're missing something. And that's what I want to
-
tell somebody we love tonight. You're right in your feelings
-
of I'm missing something. The night brother Jesse got the
-
Holy Ghost. We were praying and I could tell he
-
was just like any other believer, hoping for the best,
-
doing anything, but daring not to cross his fingers and toes.
-
But he's just praying, and I could tell he just
-
can't get anywhere on his brother's behalf. And the Holy
-
Ghost prompting me to ask the question, are you spiritual?
-
We need a spiritual church to pray right now because
-
our curly headed guitar player who does have the Holy
-
Ghost has received an onslaught of hell, and his family's
-
getting better. Then they're getting sick again. They're getting better,
-
and they're getting sick again. And the Lord had talked
-
to me and said that can't continue. It's only a
-
matter of time till they don't get better again. And
-
so that night the Holy Ghost spoke and said it's
-
time to get spiritual. And for the first time in
-
his life, I know, I changed his diapers, how burned him.
-
He split up on a burd dipper on my shoulder.
-
I rolled him over when he couldn't roll himself over.
-
My son began to praise seriously and earnestly, and I
-
remember saying something about the Holy Ghost.
-
Is helping you now.
-
And he shook for the first time the way he
-
shook tonight while playing the piano. And I'm telling you,
-
just as easy as somebody throws up a lot switch on.
-
That is what happened right there. To Brother Jesse of
-
the atmosphere was not electrically charged, but it was combustable.
-
I said it was combustible. And I want to tell
-
somebody inside of that big heart of yours, you're ready
-
for somebody to be like her, a spark to a
-
powder keg. And I'm telling you the sparker that you
-
need tonight is here, I said, the flicker, the sparker.
-
The fight that you need is to that.
-
I remember when Sister Denise Shivers received the Holy Ghost.
-
We was in camp meeting and the service was good
-
that morning. But just being honest, it's an apollo service.
-
It was just not electrically charged. It was just greatly
-
empowered by the spirit of God. Is a typical camp
-
meeting service. The preacher preached great, the preacher preached spectacular.
-
But if you all will remember, think with me. We
-
had an altar service that was not too long. We
-
actually have the archive of that service. We went through
-
that service and we were drawing an end, and Brother Nathaniel,
-
I remember Brother Ropecap about to go to the pool
-
pit to dismiss the youth choir to practice and to
-
dismiss the preachers and the elder to the kitchen to
-
get something to eat.
-
And I'm not pinning roses on myself.
-
I'm just telling you a story the same way Brother
-
don Rich would tell you a story. And you know
-
what I just told, Brother road Cap hold on for
-
a minute. It may have been the only morning.
-
That I said something.
-
I don't remember saying anything else any other mornings. I
-
let Brother Rod cap brun the morning services, but sister Wooting,
-
I got in the pool pit and I said something
-
along these lines, I feel like God wants to feel
-
a sister with the Holy Ghost.
-
And it wasn't long.
-
After that Sister Niece come over there, and then Sister
-
Denise's back there at her pew, and then she's walking
-
up and down the aishe and she received the Holy Ghost.
-
I'm telling you, we went from feeling nothing if you would,
-
to feeling the power of God in the house. And
-
that's what the Lord said, if you will feel after him,
-
you'll find him. Oh he's not far from every one
-
of us. And that's what I'm asking you here tonight.
-
You know the season of transition has already begun and
-
you're trusting the process.
-
But tonight could be the night. It's up to you
-
and God.
-
I have nothing to do with it, But tonight could
-
be the night that you put your figure hid that
-
spiritual electrical outlet and make connection and gain continuity with
-
your God. If you're ready to pray I'm ready to
-
be finished. The disciples had to trust the transition. I
-
remember when the Lord dealt with me to come to
-
South Florida. It's been a good while now, and he
-
spoke to me and he said, Jeremy, I want you
-
to go down to LaBelle, Florida. For six years, there
-
was a transition. Something was evolving, something was developing, just
-
like an embryo in a mother's womb, there was something
-
going on. There was a burden growing, there was a
-
desire growing. There was a fire beginning to burn. And
-
for six years, we drove two hours to church, and
-
we drove two hours home, and we worked up there
-
where we came from. And when we had revival, we
-
drove two hours to revival and we drove two hours home.
-
After six years of that, somebody said he must have
-
a burden, because if he didn't, he wouldn't be there
-
and he wouldn't be doing that. I'm gonna tell you
-
what it was. I was trusting the transition. I was
-
trusting the process. And I want somebody in this building
-
here to know, to know, you have had an Apollo's experience.
-
You have had a baptism of water. But if Paul
-
was here tonight that little man of short stature would
-
point a bony finger at some of you and ask
-
you the same question he asked these disciples, and emphasis
-
and corricta, have you received the Holy Ghost of since
-
she believe the Holy.
-
Thank God, y'all told her about what I by.
-
By tie by, these twelve men stood there, regenerated, converted.
-
A work can process baptized in John's baptized baptism. But
-
you know what, not many days hence somebody in this
-
building is gonna be baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire.
-
That's between you and God.
-
I remember when evangelist Silas Carver come down here. It
-
might have been for the first or second time. His
-
wife had a lot of confidence in us at that time,
-
and she still does, and so did brother doodle Bug.
-
And as far as I know, that might have been
-
the first service. They were here, one of the first services.
-
And their little daughter, Brooke Carver, was seeking the Holy Ghost.
-
And that's been years ago, and she came up, Sister
-
Wooton and the same holy ghost that talked to me
-
over the weekend talking to me that morning before service,
-
and that little girl was so thirsty and she was
-
so hungry for the Holy Ghost, you could see it
-
all over her. And before I got to church, Byther
-
just said God had clued me in that he warned
-
a filler. And God spoke and said, not many days,
-
hence ye shall be filled with the Holy Ghost. And
-
the Lord spoke to me some days later to drive
-
to North Florida, and he said, when you go in,
-
doodle Bug will be there and his daughter will be there.
-
And you know what, when we walked in, it was
-
but just a few seconds later she went through to
-
the Holy Ghost. And brother Silas Carver come over there,
-
and he said, brother, do you see that it happened
-
just exactly the way the Holy Ghost said it would happen.
-
I'm asking you here to not come on now.
-
These twelve men were able to transition from Judaism to Jesus,
-
and from John's baptism to the Lord Jesus christ baptism.
-
You know what happened. The apostle just said, receive him.
-
The Holy Ghost a man.
-
The message of Apollos is good, it's grand, it's real.
-
You could trust it. Everybody knew it was real. Brother
-
roadecap he's mighty in the scriptures. He's spurving in the spirit.
-
But what other people understand is a quill In Priscilla
-
have met Apollos too, and when they met Apollos, they
-
asked him the same question Paul's asking the people that
-
herd to Paulo's preach, and brother a Quilla and sister
-
Priscilla said, Apollos, you're quite a preacher, but I got
-
a question for you.
-
Have you received a holy ghost?
-
And you know what, that eloquent speaker, the one that
-
was mighty in scripture, he didn't close the door on
-
that transition. He trusted the transition. I feel like preaching
-
here tonight. It's like when you're baptize in water. You
-
trust you're going from dry to wet. Oh my God,
-
oh thank you Jesus.
-
I feel someone's burden. You said I needed time.
-
You've had it, and now all you need is a
-
moment to transition yourself from.
-
Not being spirit peeled to being spirit filled.
-
I remember that night sister Howell went from a believer
-
to a spirit feel believer. It was in our living room,
-
her nerve, a rickety ceiling pan.
-
She got the holy ghost.
-
I'm telling you it can happen right there in your
-
seat right now.
-
Receive ye the holy guys.
-
Jesus made an appearance at the Feast of Tabernacles. Basically,
-
he is saying, if you need help getting from where
-
you are to where you need to be, come under me,
-
y'all see our text. Sister road Cap obeyed the Lord
-
this morning. The holy ghosts got to move in in
-
that altar service, and she pretty much said, woe be
-
to the one that would lie to the man of God.
-
And then I felt the Holy Ghost prompt me to
-
take what Sister Roaecap said even a little further, and
-
I said, woe be to the one that would believe
-
a lie rather than the words of the Man of God.
-
And we had a wonderful outpouring of the Holy Ghost
-
in this place. Brother Philip has said recently, he said,
-
in recent weeks, it's been amazing to see the way
-
the Holy Ghost has moved. Did y'all hear the way
-
that preacher preached tonight? He, like brother Jesse, began a
-
transition in his life, him and his brother brother Samuel
-
in February of twenty twenty three. I believe it was
-
February fifth of twenty twenty three. On a Wednesday night,
-
they went from being a believer to a spiritfield belief
-
for both of them. But you know what Samuel told
-
Brother Philip while working on the job some weeks prior.
-
He said, you know what, I'm not one of them
-
that believe in turning over a new leaf. I'm not
-
one who believes and flipping to a new chapter in
-
the diary. I'm not one from making folly promises. But
-
he said, some hell inside, I feel this is my
-
year sister would And he didn't have to wait til
-
until December thirty, first of twenty twenty three. Here on
-
February fifth, twenty twenty three, here they receive the Holy ghosting.
-
Four hours and they're still lost her in the presence
-
of the Holy Ghosting. Six hours later, they're still drunker
-
in the Holy ghost in excess.
-
I'm telling you here the natter.
-
The Baptizer is in the house, I said, the baptizer.
-
Is he in the house? Jesus is saying, if you're
-
truly thirsty, come back to me.
-
What Jesus is saying, forget Annes, forget Coppice, forgot to
-
forget anybody else. Could you imagine, Brother Nathan, you'll do
-
that for us sit right chair at the feast of
-
the Tabernacles. I mean, there in a festive time, but
-
people are miserable because they're feeling empty. I'm talking to somebody,
-
you know, as a season, a transitional season for you
-
going on. I'm telling you, like brother Jesse said, it
-
was a season of transition. When Naomi came back to
-
the House of Bread, right in the middle of their festivity,
-
Jesus stood up and cried. The Bible said he stood
-
and cried, Sister Wooding, if all eyes hadn't been on
-
the wildly popular Jesus, they are at that moment. Y'all
-
aren't getting it. If I was do the buck Carver,
-
I'd be snapping right now. I'm feeling so much annoying,
-
so much glory of God in this house, and so
-
much fear of God in this place. I'm telling you,
-
the baptizer is here. You know what I like about
-
this holy fire baptism, Sister Janet Hill. We don't have
-
to go down to the river. The baptizer can walk
-
right up beside where you're at, and he can baptize
-
you right there in the few I'm telling you, in
-
the upper room where.
-
The one hundred and twenty were gathered together.
-
Where they were sitting up, they were filled where the
-
Holy Ghost? And after day number ten, Brother Jessey, they
-
were thirsty. Where is the Holy Ghost at? It's kind
-
of like after a three day no food and water fast.
-
After three days you're thirsty.
-
Where is the water? Act? And you know what, you'll
-
go to where it's at. I kind of feel like
-
or Hannah.
-
The Bible doesn't go on to say, but I kind
-
of feel like some said I'll be right there Jesus.
-
And Paul was reflecting on this.
-
Paul was reflecting on this, Brother Thomas ster It, he
-
was reflecting on this when he was telling them, believers,
-
we find about next chapter number nineteen, have you received
-
the Holy Ghost since you believed? Come on, we don't
-
need any trickery. We don't need any deceit. We don't
-
need somebody in the back room jiggling the pat under
-
your chin. We don't need somebody repeating a whole bunch
-
of syllables and a bunch of nonsense. I'm telling you,
-
the Holy Ghost is locking unto water by Jesus, right there?
-
Is it?
-
Not? What they say, Brother Aaron Wood, what they say
-
right there, licking it underwater, rivers of living water.
-
You know what water will do.
-
It will feel empty places. I said, you know what
-
water will do. It will feel empty places. The devil
-
has convinced you that your emptiness is indicative of your
-
lack of God. But your emptiness is indicative of I've
-
cleaned it out that it can come in. I said,
-
you've cleaned it out, that.
-
The Holy water can come in. WHOA, let's stand. The
-
Holy Ghost is licking on the water.
-
It feels the places that are available to be filled.
-
If you're a sister Tonight and you need a holy ghost,
-
would you come up front? If you're a brother to
-
Night and you need the Holy Ghost, would you come upfront?
-
Hey man, Musicians come up here, Singers come up here.
-
Sister Faith, you're seaking the Holy ghost. Sister Grace, you're
-
seeking the Holy Ghost. Brother Christian, Brother Beuford, you too
-
are seeking the Holy Ghost. And here's what I want
-
to tell, Sister Faith, Brother Daniel, you're seeking holy ghost.
-
It's the one I wanna tell, Brother Daniel.
-
I feel the Holy Ghost, Sister Wooden, Sister Hell'd you
-
feel what I felt a little while ago? Sister hell'd
-
you feel it? Brother, Nathanield you feel it? I want
-
to tell you, buddy, I ain't got to know you yet,
-
but I like you. Let me tell you. Sys you
-
all ready for what does saith God? Let it hit
-
you like a tidal wave. Let it hit you like
-
a tidal wave. It'll be okay.
-
Brothers. I want you to gather around this brother. I
-
want you together around.
-
These brothers, I said, Jesus said, out of your belly
-
shall flow rivers of living water. That insatchable desire is indicative.
-
Have I've got room for a gully washer. I've got
-
room for a gully washer. Not that Fowlet that wash
-
everything that needs to go away. Here's what I fell
-
over the weekend. Left the fountains of the deep. He
-
roughed in your soul, I said, left the fountains.
-
Of the deep, He roffed in your soul.
-
Psalm, chapter number forty two, verse number seven said deep
-
calleth under deep, at the noise of thy waterspouts all
-
thy waves, and all thy billows have gone over me.
-
Brother Aaron Wood, I did a quick word study. The
-
word deep refers to water under the crust of the earth.
-
Some terranean waters. Can't you say?
-
The Lord planning this while he was on earth, and
-
he told Earth, it's gonna come out of your belly. Brothers,
-
lay your hand on knees that are seeking the holy ghosts. Sisters,
-
Jesus said, he that believeth on me, as the scripture
-
has said, out of his belly, shout ribbons of ribbon water, Hallelujah.
-
Receive me the Holy ghost. Well, I've got it. You
-
can have any wall that you can get it. You
