Show And Tell - Pastor J. D. Howell 1-11-2026

Ezekiel, chapter number forty, verse number four. Brother Nathaniel Psalm,

chapter number fifty seven, Verses number seven through eleven. My brother,

my heart is fixed, Oh God, my heart is fixed.

I will sing and give praise.

Awake up my glory, Awake sultry and heart, I myself

will awake early. I will praise the Old Lord among

the people. I will sing to thee among the nations.

For thy mercy is great under the heavens, and thy

truth unto the clouds. Be thou, Exalted Old God, above

the heavens. Let thy glory be above all the earth.

Hey man, I want to preach a message the Holy

Ghost titled show and tell. How many old timers do

we have here tonight? You will admit that you're an

old timer. You're at least fifty years of age and older.

Do you remember taking a certain object or a family

pet into the classroom and having to show your classmates

that particular object or that family pet, and you had

to tell about it. I want to preach a message

the Holy Ghost titled show and tell. Brother Jesse Romans,

chapter number ten, verse number fourteen, My brother, how then

shall they call on him in whom they have not believed,

And how shall they believe in Him of whom they

have not heard?

And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Amen Ezekiel, Chapter number forty, verses number one through four.

Please.

The Bible says, in the five and twentieth year of

our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the

tenth day of the month in the fourteenth year after that,

the city was smitten in the self same day, the

hand of the Lord was upon me and brought me

thither in the visions of God, brought me into the

land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain,

by which was as the frame of a city on

the south. And he brought me thither, and behold, there

was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass,

with a line of flax in his hand, and a

measure and read. And he stood in the gate. And

the man said in to me, son of Man, behold

with thine eyes, and here with thine ears, and set

thine heart upon all that I shall show thee for

to the intent that I might show them unto thee

art thou brought hither. Declare all that thou seest to

the House of Israel. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we loving,

we praise you, We thank you for the opportunity to

be in this thy house, A place designated for worship, Lord,

a place designated for prayer, where they call upon your

name and worship you in spirit and in truth. A

place for the preaching of the Word. I thank God

for every preacher that has preached tonight. I thank you

for every word of testimony that was given by your children.

Thank God for brother Philip, and Brother Jesse and Brother

Sam Shivers. I pray that you would have known this

thy servant, set a guard at my mouth, and help

me to say the things you would have me to say,

nothing more or less, and not the ears of this

thy people, that they might hear what the Spirit of

God says into this church tonight. I pray God that

these sayings would go below the shoulders, that they would

saturate the spirit and the soul.

The hearts and the minds.

Help us to not hear only but to heed the

hearken and to heed. I pray we give you the

praise and the honor and the glory in Jesus' name

in the church. Said hey man, brother jesse with you

up in this bottle of water for me. Thank you

so much, Raelyn, Thank you, sister Raylyn, just exactly factly

what I needed. Looking again at Ezekiel, Chapter number forty,

verse number four of the Bible said in the man

sett unto me, son of Man, behold with thine eyes,

and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon

all that I shall show thee for to the intent

that I might show them unto thee arteal brought hither.

Declare all that thou seest to the House of Israel.

Notice the latter part of that verse.

Declare all that thou seest to the House of Israel.

Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor. Declare all

that thou seest to the people of this world. I

want to preach a message of Holy Ghost titled Show

and Tell Our Texas found in an Old Testament book

of the Holy Bible, the Book of Ezekiel. This chapter

is a captivating chapter, one which was given to captives

by a captive him himself. The great prophet Ezekiel had

been exiled to the land of Babylon, and even though

he found himself in prison, he had something to share

with other Hebrews, with people of like precious faith, with

people of like mindedness, and people of the same purpose,

people of the same prayer. There's no doubt that these

people had prayed repeatedly, passionately and firmly concerning the being

restored back to the land of Jerusalem or the land

of their nativity. And Brother Jesse, as this particular captive

began to tell others about this revelation that he had

received from the Lord, there's no doubt that their spirits

were greatly encourage This afternoon, I thought about them living

in exile, and I thought about the apostle Paul how

he gave us a lot of the Pauline Epistles while

he was experiencing prison life himself, while he himself was

being held captive by the Roman government because of jealous

religious Hebrew leaders, he took it upon himself to put

pen deparchment and gave us the written page of the

Pauline Epistles.

And so this prophet Ezekiel.

Also during a time of imprisonment or enslavement or captivity,

he was able to help others.

In their time of need.

And they're going through the very same things that he

is experiencing. I've seen people become of no use to

someone else because of something that they're going through. I

remember hearing a man named Aaron Johnson some years ago

talk about how he passes out at the sight of blood.

Do we have anybody else in this building that passes

out at the sight of blood. I'm sure there's a

handful of people that could say that's me, guilty as charge.

I remember there was a time in my life that

I too, passed out, had the sight of blood. For

whatever reason, I could not keep it from happening. It

was not that I was fearful of the needle. It

was not that I felt great pain when they inserted

the needle into my flesh.

They could wiggle it around.

In there, and I could be determined that I'm gonna

watch them pull that blood out of my vein in

through that syringe and put it in valves, and brothers

stared at what too long After that, I'd get light headed,

and Brother Jesse, they'd have to do things to keep

me from passing out. I remember them putting the smelling

salts under my nostrils, and people hovering over me and saying,

you are not doing good, are you? Are you okay?

I say no, absolutely not. For whatever reason, I am

not okay. But I've been through enough of that now

that I'm able to just rock back and let them

put those things upon my arm and let them draw

the blood and fill up vile after vile, And Brother Nathaniel,

I never get light headed. I never come close to

passing out. And one of the reasons why I wanted

to overcome that phobia. I don't believe it was a fear,

but I wanted to overcome that situation was because I

knew that I would be a husband. I knew that

I would be a father, I knew that I would

be a grandparent. And our brother Jesse, the words of

Aaron Johnson always echoed through my mind. I remember him

telling some of us as a fellow co workers that

when he would see little blood, he'd say that's it.

I'm done and pass out and fall.

In the floor or fall on the ground outside. And

Brother Nathaniel, one thing he said resonated with me. He said,

whatever the circumstance was, or whatever the tragedy was, I

was no good to all of them around me. I

was no good to myself He said, I could have

bled out because of my situation or my condition, because

I would pass out when I should not pass out.

He said, my child could walk into the house with

a bloody nose and I would pass out. And one

time his wife told him said, Erin, you're not of

any good to any of these people. As long as

you're doing that, we go from being worried about them

to being worried about you.

Well, thank God that Ezekiel.

Was not somebody that just sat somewhere along the riverside

on that river bank and just wallowed in bitterness and

refused to do what God had called him to do.

God had called him.

And commissioned him to be a preacher or a prophet

in a strange land. There is no doubt it would

have been more advertageous for him, his family, and for

his ministry to have been ministering in the land of

his nativity. But regardless of his circumstances or his situation,

he was able to make the most out of a

bad situation. And that's what we see in a lot

of pastors and a lot of church elders. When the

church suffers ablow from the enemy, we know they are

won to roll with the pushes of or there are

some to stand up even though their lips have been

bloodied by the devil, and they try to make the

most of that situation and stay in the ring and

continue to fight. So even though they're living in the

land of captivity.

And it's been a quarter of a century.

According to verse number one, twenty five years have gone by,

and after fourteen years of the temple being destroyed, this

man's in a foreign country amongst pagan people and brother Nathaniel.

He gets them in the spirit, and while he is

in the spirit, he receives a very detailed division from

an angelic being, a copper like in appearance being and

you could say brass or a bronze colored being who

presents himself to this man of God. And through this

angelic being, the property es Echo receives a vision at

better times.

On the horizon.

You know that I'm involved in specializer drafting and engineering

in factor. Immediately after the altar service tonight, I will

walk out that back door and go to my office

and work for.

About three hours.

I mean every second will be a second of purpose

to get done as soon as I can.

I will refuse to have an out of mind.

I will refuse the baby in pampera the soreness after

preaching twice today, I will stay focused on my assignments

and what is set before me. You see, I've got

to the United States Sugar Company and their engineers and

a fabricator and their fabrication facility depending upon one man

to have the bootprints in order for them to get

that refinery constructed and our operational. We've got to begin

fabrication in a few days with the owner of a company.

He messaged me and said he is impossible, and I'm

willing to pay top dollar a royal premium for us

to get started at seven o'clock.

Hem on Monday. It's a new client for them.

I've done a lot of work for United States Sugar

Company It's Savannah, Georgia over the years, but it's their

first rodeo. It's their first at tip trying to do

something for such a mighty corporation.

And what they're looking for is the blueprint in order

to get it done. I said, you need a blueprint

in order to get it done in.

This property's ego.

He has in his hand a blueprints, a bressons that

are forthcoming for the captives of Israel better Nathaniel.

They feel like it might happen in their.

Immediate future, but they will find out that it was

not intended for them.

After the Prophet had.

Been in Babylon for a quarter of a century, the

Holy Ghost transports him home in a vision. I want

you to know that has loved as you are fresh

and blood. You're gonna have to rely upon the dreams

and the visions that the Spirit of God gives you

concerning that long sought home. The way we felt here

tonight as church was starting, we had a vision of

what it's gonna be like in the presence of God.

As I was in my office, and as that glory

cloud came in, I began to weep tears of joy.

My knees begin the buckle, and I fell down on

the office for a rug, and my hands with the heaven,

and I uttered these.

Words, Oh, how beautiful Heaven must be for me to

feel like this in a land of captivity, for.

Me to feel like this, Yes, its spiritual Bible Lord.

I feel like God, He's given me a glimpse of

what is over there, over yonder in the glory world.

Amen. So the prophet is equal.

There is no doubt he's disappointed about his circumstances. Kind

of like brother Jesse said Hagar was with her circumstances.

She finds herself in that situation not because of bad

choices that she had made. Sarah had made some bad

choices that affected her adversely. But this man is hearing

Babylon not because of any bad choices of his own.

And Sister how Well, the Jews, they're convinced we're going

to be leaving soon. It's kind of like him in

Hates in prison, Sister Crystal. They're always looking for a

miracle on tomorrow. They're always looking to the horizon. They're

always looking for the dawning of a new day. But

we are on the other side of this vision. And

Brother Aaron Wood, we know that this temple that Ezekiel

was preaching about, it's not something the table lay eyes

on with their natural eyes, nor with their natural hands handle.

I want you to know, they're holding on to a

thread of hope, a good word.

From a far country.

Ezekiel saying, the spirit of God came by, and he

flew me home, and he showed me a magnificent temple

that's greater than the one of a Kindness, and his

hitchman and his cronies have destroyed a greater temple than

that of Solomon, laid a temple of construction than that.

One that David in vision.

And you can imagine as the Hebrews begin to talk

about what God had told.

Him through this vision, or you're with me, Ezekiel.

Saw what appeared to be a brazen colored man, a

Brin's colored man, and he held a measuring stick in

his hand. And years ago I studied that, and I

believe that measuring stick was about ten feet long approximately.

And Ezekiel was to pay attention to everything he would

be told and showed. That's what the Holy Girl said

tonight through Sister Iris Wooten, and God had given me

the interpretation, and she fired off first, and I'm glad

she did.

I'm asking you here to night. Are you paying attention?

God had told the property is he go You better

pay attention. And the United States Sugar Corporation is going

to tell the construction and fabrication teams, and you better

pay attention to the engineering firms drawings, and Jeremy Howells

and drawings. If we're gonna do this right, and then

you come on your motto about out of ahile, I'm

telling you, preacher, how can you show a congregation what

it is they need to look for? How can you

tell them what it is they need to search form

if you have not tasted at yourself, if you have

not experienced it yourself. The apostle said, we've tasted of it,

We've handled it, the Word of life. Thank God for

the Word, Thank God for this precious book that we

have been given. And so are you paying attention to

the things that you have been told and showed? The

Holy Ghost said today today today. You know, in the

Word of God it says now is today. Behold, today

is the day of salvation. There's some of you putting

off for tomorrow what you need to do right now, today,

right now, tonight, right now, this evening, right here, on

the eleventh day of January, in the year twenty twenty six,

I would be scared to death to walk across that

threshold and to go out to them doors being exactly

the way I came in. And I'm talking a three

to five of you here tonight. Ezeke was to pay attention.

Do you still need herende, do you still need spiritual hearing?

says to the church. Just because you've got an here

on the side of your face does not mean you

are hearing what is being said. Sister Harrison showed me

saw it, they stepped back and they shuddered, and they

shook and said what have they done to you?

You're looking at me and haven't even out of the prayer.

You haven't even thrown up ahead their praise. We're in church,

I'm preaching harder, and you're daydreaming. What planet are you from? Anyway,

Jesus said, you are.

Your father, the devil, and of your father the works

you will do.

Just because you're in this building of seventy five people,

and just because the preacher is preaching, and the preacher

is speaking, and the teacher's teaching, and the song leaders

lean singing and the singers are saying, it doesn't mean

you're hearing what the spirit says. And that was the

beef the Holy ghosts have with you. Withn't this, dear sister,

was given the message, may we have your attention?

Please? May we have your attention? Please?

You're the same kind of person that would ignore a

national news alert. You are the same person that I

preach to this morning and I'm preaching to tonight. I'm

telling you, you didn't listen to your mama, you didn't

listen to your daddy, you didn't listen to your former pastor,

and you certainly aren't gonna listen to the Spirit of God.

Azeezhel needed to pay attention.

Don't you think of that great prophet of God needed

to pay attention?

You need to pay attention. Thank your holy Ghost. I

needed this.

He was a man that had a vision of a

chariot like throne and a ring that had eyes on

in it. This was a man that had vision upon visions,

upon visions upon visions.

This was a man that heard from the Lord.

This was a man that had a mind after the Lord,

had a heart after the Lord, and whatever his heart

was in tune with the Lord.

God would speak.

But this was so important, sister Howell, that the angelic

being in the spirit of God, said, you better pay attention.

You're not getting it, are you. You better pay attention.

It's life or death. It's new or die. There's some

of you in this building of seventy five, about three

of you. If you're not careful, you won't even be

in the House of God in twelve months time.

You gotta shake yourself less. You sleep the sleeper of death.

The sleep that you're sleeping is deeper than the sleep

of Jonah. It's deeper than the sleep of Peter. It

is the sleeper. May we have your attention, please? Huh

Huzekiel would pay attention, and then after he got all

the details, you see, we have to detail to within

a sixteenth of an inch accuracy. And I have three

hundred and eleven drawings to be finished with before seven am.

Over the last few days, I've got two hundred down.

I've got one hundred and eleven to do just as

soon as I walk out of this poolpit preaching hard.

And you're in la la land right now, trying to

figure out how you're gonna get out of work, trying

to figure ot how you're gonna get out of responsibility,

try to figure out how you're gonna get out of altar,

how you're gonna go about it. I'm telling you right now,

and I put what I gotta do to the side

to get a hold of God for tonight's message. You

can tell that how to just pull this out of

a hat. Y'all got a big sermon library. Brother Jeremiah

has a crewed and collected and you know what, there's

no way I can preach the same message twice because

between him, brother Aaron, brother Justin, and they're gonna know it.

But Brother Philip, he knew. I gotta get all the

specifics and the details.

And when you look.

Through that fotieth chapter, there are some vivid and specific details.

Sounds like a good preacher to me, Sister Janet saying,

let when I'm good, old fashioned, pure vanilla grade, a

true blue holiness. Preachers, they say, well, all you ever

do is preach the Bible. That's what the Bible said.

Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season.

Reprove, rebuke with all long suffering.

No, hey, come on now, ezeko, get all the details,

because you're gonna have to show it and you're gonna

have to tell it. And preacher, I'm telling you, you

better not overlook certain details in that word.

I tied.

There are certain preachers there overlook search specifics and details

of my people in their walks with God. Sounds like

a good preacher to me. He's careful that he crosses

all the teas and dots all the eyes. Sounds like

the son of God to me. He told us, don't

you change one exclamation point? Don't you put a question

mark where God put an exclamation point? When God said

be ye holy, I kind of feel like he meant

exactly what he said. That implies that we've got something

that we've got to do. We can't earn our salvation.

We can't buy our own salvation. But if we love him,

we will keep his commandments, and we will not find

the least or the greatest of them. Grievous Romans ten

and fourteen said, how then shall they call on him

whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe

in him? And whom they have not heard? And how

shall they hear without a preacher? Well, I'm just gonna

show them by an example. That's good, But I'm preaching

on you. Better show it and tell it. The reason

why a lot of you are here is because your

preacher claimed to be an example and the practice showmanship.

But I don't know about y'all, but ever since I've

been saved, I wanted somebody to show me and tell me.

That's what Legion of Gadera was told and instructed to do.

Whenever you leave my prasent.

Jesus said, you go, and you tell the people of

your land what has happened to you. Ezekiel gave these

captives a thread of hope, and that's what Legion of

Goodera did. He gave every person in his hometown a

thread of hope. And by the time Jesus got back,

it was a well woven tapestry where everybody was saying,

if he did it for Leason of.

And that's what I want the Church of the Living

God tonight to understand the partake of it, so you

can tell others it is good.

and punt. I'm wanting to send my running back right

through the middle right now, Praise the Lord.

I want to rip a hole right through a bunch

of fools. Amen.

Sister Heal and Sister Smith I'm trying to preach for

your gas money, okay, about by the preacher Ezekil was

telling them of a temple, one like they hadn't seen

the locks of no other. And I was thinking about

this this afternoon, Sister how while you were enjoying that nap,

and while we were in outer darkness, and I was

sitting in that recliner thinking about this message tonight, and

Sister how I thought about all them people that must

have got excited, kind of like Brother Philip, when the

preacher's annoyed in preaching, it looks like Jesus about the rapture.

That's so much annoying, empowered God. That's what happens when

you listen. Some of the greatest experiences I've had in

the Holy Ghost is when I am listening to preaching.

And Sister woot And I'll tell you one of the

prophet Ezekiel started pacing and he started saying, let me

tell you old Captives about what I saw. I could

see it now. If old Brother Sam Shivers had it

been there, he'd be shivering for sure.

WHOA I feel it? Hey, man?

When are we gonna see it as echo? I don't know,

but I know it's coming. I know a better day's coming,

I said, I know a better day is coming. I

don't know when he's coming, but I know he's coming.

I feel the preacher in this house. I know, and

I'm listening for the sound of the trumpet, and I'm

expecting it to be almost any day. People have been

asking me, Pastor Howell, we know your studious in the

sacred scriptures. We want to know what do you think

about the spirit of Antichrist. I'm not talking about you,

sister Heal, I'm talking about other people have been as

have been asking me what do you think about it?

When is the Antichrist coming? I said, Must we talk

about the coming of the Antichrist? Or can we talk

about the coming of the Christ? If you're busy enough

showing and telling about the coming of the Christ?

Oh, come on, now, you.

Want me altogether worried about the appearance how the Antichrist?

And I know that the prophet is e call.

He told him, I soul a beautiful temple, one of

excellent construction, one of splendor and magnificence.

And sister weodness is what the Holy ghost.

Spoke to me today, he said, Herod built one after that,

but that wasn't the one I showed his echel. And

brother would he said, the Antichrist is gonna build one

after the one Herod built.

And he said that wasn't the one that I showed

his echell.

And then he reminded me that Jesus is gonna plant

his foot and he's gonna build his temple.

And brother y'all told, what about a high brother, Aaron Wood?

That is the one that Ezeko told the captives in Babylon,

Our king of kings and our Lord of lords. Oh,

come on now, children of Abraham, children of faith, both

jew and Gentile, he is coming. His kingdom is coming.

Pressing be the name of the Lord, Pressing.

Be the name o the Lord. You Tola.

First Corinth in chafter number two and verse number nine

reads like this, But as it is written, I had

not seen nor ear heard, neither have it entered into

the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared

for them that love him. Can I tell you that

it's not speaking of that temple that I just preached about,

even though it will be wonderful. It's talking about glorious

and magnificent things that will happen in this life, including

times of refreshing that comes from the presence of the Lord,

and including the spirit of revival that we felled in

this place tonight before this service started. According to the

Word of God by the sam Shimmers, he will continue

to pour out his spirit.

Upon all pressure.

I'm expecting more to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

That is what is prepared for youbody behind, I said,

that is not something that was prepared for you. Verse

number ten of first correct this chapter two said, but

God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit. For

the spirit searcheth all things, yay, the deep things of God.

Remember our golden text.

Do y'all remember he said, you've seen it, you've heard it,

you've looked upon it. And then he said, set downe heart.

I come to tell some of them in this building,

not sister Wood, and just go ahead and set your heart.

You're gonna be filled your heart on the prodigals coming home.

Set thine heart. Oh, he's gonna establish his kingdom in

Label Florida.

Set your heart that he's.

Gonna reign as King Supreme hen Label Florida. Set your

heart that it's gonna do a new thing in an

old fashioned way. Hen label Florida. Set your heart. I

set set your heart. Let your affection be set all

things above hand on these things concerning what he'll do

in this earth. The Spirit of God is searching the

deep things tonight, the deep things, Brother Nathaniel. Today it

hasn't entered some in this building's heart. Your eyes haven't

seen it. But the Holy Ghost is trying to show

you things that are coming your way. If you are

his child, I'm telling you tonight, set your heart on it.

Some of you are getting it. My heart is fixed,

My heart is fixed. I feel like preaching to you

just a little while longer. And a man said, with

a measure and stick in his hand, the bronze man.

He said, under me, son of man, behold with thine

eyes and see, and here with thine ears, and set

down heart upon all that I shall show THEE, for

to the intent that I might show them under THEE

or tale brought hither, declare all the tau seuss in

the house of Israel. Set tin heart upon all that

I shall show THEE. And I want to tell some

of you in this building not the three to five

that I've been saying's dullah hearing I'm talking another five

to seven of you.

I have seen you amongst the prophets. I have seen you.

In a spiritual dimension, in realm, in the presence of

the Most High God. Sister Janet Hill, that vision that

you had of that big church that was full of

what appeared to be holding us people, she said that

whenever she walked into that building, ah y'all praying for me,

she said, she looked at what appeared to be holiness.

People, but they were lifeless. There was no spirit.

And she said, what was supposed to be pews was caskets,

and she realized they're dead in their caskets. And some

people are literally sitting in dead churches and those pews

have become their caskets. But you know what, we have

seen that for some and you know that is true.

That is happening everywhere. And I'm telling you, if you're

not careful, three to five of you, you will be there.

But as for all of the others, hopefully for myself,

I'm telling you I'm not gonna sit there, lifeless, up

in what is supposed to be a pew and let

them to come my casket. Ezekiel was in a dark,

damp place spiritually, but he saw the light of hope.

I need to preach to you. I think somebody's ears

is slightly open. The bronze man said, Look, and your

pastor's asking you here tonight. What is God's showing you?

The bronze man said, listen, and I'm asking you, as

your pastor tonight, what did you miss in twenty twenty five?

Are you listening? Are you tuning in? Are you here

what the spirit of God just said? If you aren't

watching it and listening, then I'm certain you aren't sting

your heart upon all he is trying to tell and

show you, sister, how I would have never fall in

love with a young man that didn't have the heart

after God. She would have never even thought to be

best friends or fall in love with anybody that was

struggling with a good work ethic or being a provider

that doesn't speak any good of a woman that would

throw herself to anything, for he will pursue you.

The way he pursues his God.

And after that first marital argument, he'll wants you to

baby him, and you'll never drag him across the pearly gates. Threshold.
