And Exodus chapter number two in verse number two, My brother,

and the woman conceived in Barras's son, in which she

saw him that he was a goodly child, she hit

him three months she saw that Moses was a goodly child.

How many of you remember the name of Moses's mother,

Moses was a goodly child, and she felt like the

Lord would have her.

I'm glad she did, aren't you, brother Jesse Genesis chapter

And verse number thirty eight, and favor of said out

this is a man in who the spirit of God

is Amen?

And that are scripture versus concerning Joseph. A young man

that was distinguished among his brethren. And I'm not talking

about his natural brethren. I'm talking about all of the

people within the land of Egypt, his peers and contemporaries.

What a distinguished individual the man Joseph was. Let's stand

for the reading of our golden text. Daniel chapter number

six and verse number three. The Bible says, then this

Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an

excellent spirit was in him, and the King thought to

set him over the whole realm.

I noticed the first part of that third verse.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes

no means bragging upon myself. I will just share a

personal experience with you. Eighteen and a half years ago,

my family and I felt led to come down here

and become the pastor of these wonderful group of people.

A man from a month he decided to visit one

of the services. He walked through them double glass doors,

stepped about ten paces in and basically collided with me.

He excitedly shook my hand.

I remember him squeezing my hand and looking me in

the eyes, and he said, I come to tell you

that I perceive you to be a man of an

excellent spirit. I have never ever forgotten that encounter with

that man. I'm telling you, I don't know what became

of that man, but those were his words to me.

I feel embarrassed slightly to share that experience with you,

unless you think of being arrogant or conceited. I don't

know that he even knew me. I don't know that

he had even watched me. I don't know that he

had even heard anything. But he said the Lord had

showed him that there was an excellent spirit within me.

I hope so trust it to be true. I sure

want it to be. But I want to preach to

some young men and some young women tonight, and even

some older folk, and encourage you to have an excellent spirit.

Some of you do and some of you need to

have an excellent spirit. We're gonna preach a message the

Holy Goost titled distinguished Daniel. May we pray, Heavenly Father,

we love and we praise you. We thank you for

the opportunity to come in your house.

Lord, we know and how needy we are.

We need your spirit, We need your mercy, we need

your grace, we need the annointed. Set a guard in

our mouth, and help us to say the things you

would have us to say, nothing more less and on

the ears of this people, that they might hear what

the Spirit of God saysten to the church tonight. I

pray that these sayings would go below the shoulder. Let

them saturate the spirit and the soul.

Holy God, don't let them, just go in one ear

and out to the other. I pray God that we.

Would be more than here, that we would be doers

of this word. Help us to depart this place joyfully

and not sorrowtly.

an excellent spirit?

Our text has found in an Old Testament book of

the Holy Bible.

The Book of Daniel is.

A most exciting read, but all of the books of

the Bible are exciting and excellent reads. I have been

a student of the Book of Daniel for many years.

There are great mysteries within the Book of Daniel. I've

had LinkedIn conversations with Brother Vernon Golf and some other

men over the years concerning this particular book of the

Bible and the prophecies that are contained therein. There is

no doubt whatsoever in any Bible student or Sunday school teacher,

or preacher, evangelists, missionary, or any minister of the Gospel

that Daniel was certainly an oracle of Almighty God.

He was one that could definitely look into the future,

one that God opened spiritual portals unto and had somewhat

of an understanding concerning things forthcoming.

So the Bible readers.

And students amongst this group of people tonight know a

little bit about the spiritual condition of Israel. While Daniel

was living in his homeland, namely in the nation of

Israel there in Jerusalem, and during his lifetime, Daniel saw

great things unravel. He watched his nation bust apart and

unravel from the scenes. Some of you that have moved

here have told me the same thing that upon your observation,

you notice that people's spiritual condition and state of mind

is not what it used to be thirty to fifty

years ago. I have sensed your burden, as you have

begged and even pleaded with me for five minutes of

time to tell me about the things that you were

eye witnesses to. And sometimes when I leave your presence

or your company and walk away with that conversation in mind,

I just feel a dark cloud overhead when I think

about how good things can come undone and how good

things can unravel. I mean, at this time it is

not the same Israel it was under the Sweet Samis

of Israel. It is not the same place or the

same situation that it was under the reign.

The people of this name had slipped into immorality and idolatry.

Isn't it interesting that church people no longer feel that they,

as members of local congregations, are in need of a

spiritual awakening or revival, even though they find themselves slipping

into immorality and idolatry. They may not be kneeling down

before a graving image named a bell or molac, but

they have erected unto themselves idols.

And because of this we have witnessed the chastening a

rod of God.

And sometimes with it it brings famine. Sometimes with it

brings pestilence. Sometimes with it it brings troubles and trials

and sorrows. I've seen He's come in to families that

people thought would never come into that rappitable or that

certain family.

I'm telling you it wasn't even second.

To what the nation of Israel experienced by the judgment

hand of God.

There's people in this building tonight.

Perhaps you feel lack of late you have been on

the receiving end of the chastening rod of God.

Better be thankful that God's hand is all the money.

Of that rod, because scripturally we can find it to

this man becomes distinguished. Which that word distinguished, sister, how

it means successful or commanding great respect. It can also

be so indignity in one's appearance or manner.

Can I tell you that the children of God.
