  1. Said, we certainly miss our pastor and Pastor's wife. Hm.

  2. I feel the presence of the Lord very strong here tonight.

  3. I feel the spirit of revival. And uh, I know

  4. it can be said we feel that every service, and

  5. and that that is true, but I feel I feel

  6. the Lord in a in a great way here tonight.

  7. We'll be in uh in Saint John chapter number five.

  8. We'll we'll start and uh we'll reading verse number two

  9. and five once again as always, I give great honor

  10. to my pastor. UH so thankful for the opportunity to

  11. preach here. Uh. It's it's a surreal feeling. And and

  12. I know we're just getting into preaching, not and not

  13. been preaching too many years. But in praying before the service,

  14. you know the gravity of it, if it'll let you,

  15. will settle in on you. And I realized in in

  16. praying in those moments, I said, you know, you grow

  17. up here in preachers preaching, and you realize they're the

  18. ones responsible in that service for having a word from God.

  19. And that that settled in on me as I begin

  20. to pray before the service, and I appreciate our pastor

  21. every service having a word fitly spoken, not not just

  22. a word. That's easy. Preachers do that all the time.

  23. But a word fitly spoken is so important. So I

  24. do appreciate our pastor and pastor's wife and miss them

  25. so terribly. Again, Saint John, Chapter number five, We'll start

  26. in verse number two. Now there is at Jerusalem, by

  27. the sheep market a pool which is called in the

  28. Hebrew tongue bethesda, having five porches, and these lay a

  29. great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting

  30. for the moving of the water. Verse number four. For

  31. an angel went down out of certain season into the

  32. pool and troubled the water. Whosoever then first after the

  33. troubling of the water, stepped in was made whole of

  34. whatsoever disease he had. If the Lord will stand by

  35. me for a little while, I'd like to preach on

  36. when the waiting is over, And I'd like to preach

  37. to everybody in the building, but those that need the

  38. Holy Ghost, those that need healing, those that need salvation,

  39. those that feel like you've been waiting for something for

  40. some time. I want to preach, as I said, when

  41. the waiting is over, if you would stretch your hands

  42. towards Heaven, here tonight in this place, God, would you

  43. give us clear garity of the scripture. God, give us

  44. the words to say. God, would you help us to

  45. do your word justice, God, and preach it the way

  46. you would have it preached. Send your annointing in this place.

  47. Lord will give you the honor the priest and the

  48. glory Jesus' name. This is a very familiar story to

  49. to people that have gone to church and and and

  50. and Christian believers. This pool. When studying this, something that

  51. that I had never heard really pointed out, and I

  52. know you've read it in there, but that this pool

  53. was in a very public place. It was next to

  54. a sheep market. The Bible says, so so these men

  55. they they couldn't hide their issue. Imagine with me these

  56. men as they're if the Bible says, and they're on

  57. that porch, and this says, there is a great multitude

  58. of impotent folk, and they're laying on these porches. And

  59. imagine with me being one of these impotent folk, either

  60. one blind, one halt, one that was withered. Be imagine

  61. being them standing there on that porch and seeing the

  62. rest of the world. The rest of Jerusalem's life go

  63. on as normal, and and and everyone around them knew

  64. that these people were impotent. They knew why they were there.

  65. As as said, some were blind, some were withered, some

  66. had withered hands.

  67. And everyone around them knew this.

  68. And we get like that your pastor knows, and you

  69. and your friends and family knows what you need. Everyone

  70. on and including the people on those porches, knew what

  71. the ones around them needed. There was five of those porches,

  72. and and they all agreed, and they knew why they

  73. were there. They had discussed it. They all had this,

  74. and they were all in the same mind. They have

  75. the same desire. They all knew they needed help, and

  76. most of all, they all wanted healing. They knew that

  77. at a certain season, at a certain time, God would

  78. send his angel and he would begin to trouble that

  79. pool at a certain season and certain time. And it

  80. matters where you're at at the right time, and it

  81. matters when you're there, why you're there. And so and

  82. the Bible says, whosoever stepped in after the troubling of

  83. the water was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

  84. So as I said, and when the waters are troubled,

  85. that's the time to take action. So right now we're

  86. going into a season of revival. And what does that

  87. tell you? That tells me that the waters are troubled.

  88. That tells me that God has dealt with Pastor through

  89. the sphere of the Holy Ghost and ordained a time

  90. and a place for the waters to be troubled. I

  91. plan I won't be long tonight. Brother Mikah told me

  92. when we were about to play before church, he said,

  93. don't preach too long, because I want to go home

  94. and play, you know. And I'm gonna say, you know,

  95. if I'm preaching, he'll more than likely get that wish.

  96. But I would like for each and every one of.

  97. Us to make it our mission and make it our

  98. purpose that this revival is the time for me when

  99. the waiting is over, it's my time that I get

  100. the Holy Ghost. That is my time that I get

  101. filled with the Holy Ghost. And it goes beyond that.

  102. It ain't just a revival for people to be filled

  103. with the Holy Ghost. It's a time for gifts to

  104. be getting out. It's a time for greater annoytings to

  105. be poured out. When we go into revival. The church

  106. world has been pushed into such a mold off. It's

  107. only a time for salvation and feeling out the Holy Ghost.

  108. And that's true. But I want it to be my mission.

  109. And my purpose to go in deeper with God to

  110. get a greater annoyington. And then verse number five, and

  111. it said, and a certain man was there which had

  112. an infirmity thirty eight years. He had this problem way

  113. too long, and I'm sure he got sick and tired

  114. of it. Imagine the Bible doesn't I don't believe. I

  115. don't know that he was there at the pool on

  116. that porch for thirty eight years, but he had his

  117. problem for thirty eight long years. And on down in

  118. the Bible it says that he was an impotent man.

  119. I didn't know what the definition of that was, so

  120. I looked it up. It means unable to take effect

  121. of action, helpless or powerless. And when when we're without God,

  122. or we're without the Holy Ghost, or we're without anointing,

  123. we are powerless. We are helpless. And when Jesus saw

  124. him and lying there and knew that he had been

  125. there a long time, and in that case, he's been

  126. in that case for a long time, he said, unto him,

  127. wilt thou be made whole, the Lord ask him. And

  128. that's exactly what the Lord is asking us, each and

  129. everyone in this revival. Will thou be made home? Wilt

  130. thou receive the Holy Ghost? Wilt thou let God take

  131. you into depths that he's never been, that you've never

  132. been in the pool. Doesn't just getting deeper the pull

  133. the pulse as deep as it is. It's when you

  134. venture out and you find new depths. Who is that man?

  135. He waited measured out and it was up to his

  136. it was up to his knees, and then it went

  137. to his lords, and then he was in waters to

  138. swim in.

  139. It's up to us to press and to push. And

  140. this man was powerless, helpless that what what stood? What

  141. what come to me?

  142. But but he wasn't hopeless. He knew that if I

  143. could only get in the water, if I could just

  144. get in there, like he has seen it times past,

  145. every last one of us. If you've been raised in church,

  146. you've seen other people get saved, You've seen other people

  147. get filled with the Holy ghat. You see what it's like.

  148. But you're not hopeless. You have to hope. Hallylujah, He

  149. tells Jesus that he has no man to put him

  150. in the pool when the water is troubled. And when

  151. he had come, he said, and when I am come,

  152. another steppeth down before me. I'm sure that that got

  153. absolutely wrecked his day. I don't know how long it.

  154. Took from when God would send the angel the trouble

  155. the water until.

  156. The next time. But you know he sat there, and

  157. that was the conversation amongst them, a great multitude. That

  158. was the conversation on them porches was win, Will the

  159. next stirn of the pool come? Win? Will the next

  160. revival come? Revival is here? Maybe the revival you've talked

  161. to your friends, the revival you've talked to your brothers

  162. and sisters about, and said, if we could just give him,

  163. I could get another chance. If I could get another chance,

  164. I try my dead level past to push and to

  165. poll and to get whatever God had for me. I'm

  166. sure it was absolute heartbreaking when he pushed and he

  167. tried his hardest to get in the pool when someone

  168. was up down in front of him. But but but

  169. in that day and age, it was first man in

  170. got to bless him. But it's not lock down church.

  171. Now we can get it, after saying it ain't no

  172. race for who can get it. It's not a can't can't.

  173. It's not a race that cannot get the hold. He

  174. goes before brother so and so, because there's not enough

  175. in this There was the first one in the pool

  176. got the healing. But when it comes now, now that

  177. God poured out a spirit in the days of the

  178. Upper Room, now when he pours it out, he pours

  179. it out on all this chilling. As I said, it's

  180. not a race. But don't dare think that God ain't

  181. watching to see who wants it. God is taking a

  182. count for those that want it, and those that USh

  183. and pull it, push the plate back. It does take work,

  184. and only a fool, a fool would say, you know

  185. nowadays people like it. Don't take your relationship with that

  186. like that with God, or it don't take going to

  187. church like that, or it don't you do it, don't

  188. take that Pentecostal action. I wonder what it looked like

  189. when they started coming out of the porches. They didn't

  190. just act mundane when the spirit of God begin to

  191. trouble the pool, and people can wonder, why do they

  192. act like that in church? It's because God is stirring

  193. the pool. They didn't act gool come out, some of them,

  194. I say, the ones that can walk. Maybe they just

  195. had a withered hand. I wonder if they didn't slap

  196. jump out of the porch. Everyone everybody tries being too

  197. dignified now in church.

  198. When God begin to trouble it, they had to get in.

  199. Hell Elijah. Jesus knew what was in this man's heart.

  200. Jesus tells this man, take up thy bed and walk.

  201. I don't believe that Jesus would ever healed this man

  202. if he.

  203. Didn't knew he had been trying in times past.

  204. He wasn't his first time, because he tells Jesus when

  205. I'm about there, I don't have no one to get

  206. me to the pool. But every time I'm about there,

  207. another steps in before me. Jesus knew this man had

  208. been trying his vest to make it to the poor.

  209. So Jesus tells this man, rise, take up thy bed.

  210. My apologies, rise, let me find verse number eight, and

  211. Jesus saith under him, Rise, take up thy bed and Walkluah.

  212. I don't believe by him, not at all. I do

  213. I believe now when this man's seen Jesus coming, He said,

  214. let me act like I'm trying to get to the pool.

  215. He didn't see Jesus coming and say, there's Jesus. I

  216. better act like I better act like I've been trying

  217. to get in the pool. He didn't. He didn't hear

  218. it going around the people saying, hey, Jesus is coming.

  219. He said, well, we better act like we're watching for

  220. the pool to be troubled. And that's how people are

  221. when revival is called. Now, all of a sudden, it's

  222. time to act like we're praying. Now, all of a sudden,

  223. it's time to get a prayer life. We have to

  224. have a prayer life and a desire up and to

  225. the point. He didn't just get all excited because he's

  226. seen Jesus and try to get in the pool.

  227. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

  228. I man. Also, brother Samuel mentioned this, and I believe

  229. it was it's Blindborn and Mais that has said laid

  230. his garments to the side. Blindborn to Mais, he was

  231. ready for the waiting to be over. He had sat

  232. there by the wayside back in so long that when

  233. he began to cry, Jesus and all those people come

  234. to yousa hush, he cried Jesus, And they come to

  235. him and tell him to hush. But he was so

  236. sick and tired up being blind out of said, he

  237. cried all the more louder. Wha, hallelujah. He was so tired.

  238. And that's how we gotta get We gotta be tired

  239. of waiting. I want us all to have that when

  240. the waiting is over. This can be the revival for

  241. me when the when the waiting is over, waitings of

  242. healings of salvation are filled with the holy ghost of naughtings,

  243. as I said, gifts of the spirit. It all can

  244. be poured out when the poets troubled. Hellylujah, hellnlujah.

  245. Another another place my mind went to is the woman

  246. with the issue of blood.

  247. She had a twelve years and she she she she

  248. grew all the more worse, and she had tried every

  249. things she knew to do. She had spent all her money,

  250. she had done what she knew to do, and in herself.

  251. And when I was studying this out, I got to

  252. and Jesus was throng with a multitude, and I got

  253. to think, and she got tired of waiting for the

  254. crowd that was around Jesus to thin out. She got

  255. tired of standing back in the distance and watching those

  256. that were in close proximity to Jesus. I feel like

  257. if you got in the direct presence of Jesus when

  258. he's walking, I'm sure he was just walking and talking.

  259. It may not be et and recorded because the Bible

  260. said the scrolls cannot contain. How do we know then

  261. why he walked? And he was thrown every person that

  262. had something he was healing, And she got tired of

  263. seeing everybody else get what they needed. She could she

  264. she couldn't wait for Jesus, for the crowd to lead

  265. him alone and finding because she wasn't even alloud. She

  266. wasn't even allowed near Jesus. She wasn't even allowed near

  267. the public. But she got tired of waighing because she

  268. tried what man could do. She pushed, She pressed all

  269. three of these people, why wait? Why? What brings them

  270. all together? Were the similarities? They all got tired of

  271. the situation they was in.

  272. Brother Jesse, if you'd come around and this revival, I won't.

  273. I want it to be for each and every one

  274. of us. I believe her. Today's the eighth was the Wednesday.

  275. Wednesday the made three years ago that the waiting was

  276. over for a multitude of us, and how many times.

  277. And I'll confess this happened to me, and it happened

  278. to that man. I'd say he got so heartbroke when

  279. someone beat him in the pool. And I was that close.

  280. I remember seeking for the Holy Ghost, and uh, all

  281. of your life, you get so close, and when the

  282. service is over, you feel heartbroke that you didn't get

  283. at that night. And that's how this man was heartbroken.

  284. But he wasn't helpless. He wanted hill, he tried, but

  285. he didn't have no one. And as I remember that,

  286. I'm sure many people across the house remember that seeking

  287. for the Holy Ghost and you didn't get it that night,

  288. and you wish you. I said, man, what else could

  289. I have done? Should I push the little bit hotter?

  290. Should I pulled? And you go home heartbroken? But I'm

  291. telling you the post troubled. When win is troubled, make sure.

  292. You get in. Let's all come around the altar tonight.

  293. Well, if you take one step, you'll take two. There

  294. ain't or telling what God can do. Don't we don't

  295. worry about your sin. All you've gotta do is take

  296. a step. If you take one step, if you'll take two, he.

  297. Rain, don't let what God can you? Really?

  298. If you'll go, don't worry about yourself. All you gotta

  299. do is just take a self. I'm gonna walk count.

  300. In Jesus' name.

  301. Will I be in false accused, but I'm not ashamed

  302. because I'm God. Faith in God. I won't worry about myself.

  303. Oh I gotta do is take alf Will you take

  304. one step?

  305. You'll take? You will there rain or real? What God

  306. can do? Lorry if you go, don't worry about yourself.

  307. Oh you gotta do his take Staf
