  1. Amen, a message the Holy Ghost title little things are

  2. big to Him? How many of y'all believe that little

  3. things are big to him? If you'll turn with me

  4. to the Book of Genesis, May I direct your attention

  5. to the eighteenth chapter. We'll be reading verses number seventeen

  6. through nineteen. Brother Nathaniel Luke, chapter number sixteen, Verses number

  7. ten and eleven, and Brother Jesse Matthew chapter number twenty

  8. five and verse number twenty one. Please, my brother, I

  9. want to say I thank God so much for our

  10. church family. We are blessed. I've been blessed to be

  11. part of this beautiful work that God is doing in

  12. South Florida. And it's an honor of privilege to serve

  13. and labor as your pastor. You all are the best.

  14. And I believe that, Brother Nathaniel Luke, Chapter number sixteen

  15. versus number ten and eleven.

  16. My brother, he that.

  17. Is faithful when that which is least is faithful also

  18. and much, And he that is unjust in the least

  19. is unjust also and much. If therefore ye have not

  20. been faithful in the unrighteous Mammon, who will commit to

  21. your trust the true riches? Amen, Little things are big

  22. to him, brother Jesse Matthew twenty five and twenty one.

  23. Brother, his Lord said, unto him, well done, thou good

  24. and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things.

  25. I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou

  26. into the joy of thy Lord.

  27. Amen.

  28. Let's stand for the reading of our golden text, Genesis,

  29. chapter number eighteen, verses number seventeen through nineteen. The Bible says,

  30. and the Lord said, shall I hide from Abraham the

  31. thing which I do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become

  32. a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of

  33. the earth shall be blessed in him. For I know

  34. him that he will command his children and his household

  35. after him, and they shall keep the way of the

  36. Lord to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may

  37. bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him.

  38. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you.

  39. We thank you for the opportunity to be in the

  40. house of the Lord tonight. I pray that you would

  41. anoint this thy people, set a guard at their ears,

  42. and help them to hear what the Spirit of God

  43. says into the church tonight. Lord said, a guard in

  44. my mouth, and help me to say the things you

  45. would have me to say, nothing more or less.

  46. Help them to.

  47. Hear thy words, the word of this blessed book, and

  48. what the Spirit says, help us to heed.

  49. Lord.

  50. May we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully in

  51. Jesus's name. And the church said Amen again, preaching a

  52. message the Holy Ghost titled little.

  53. Things are Big to Him.

  54. Our texas found in an Old Testament book of the

  55. Holy Bible, the first book of the Bible, the Book

  56. of Genesis. Since I was a child, I have loved

  57. the word Genesis. To be honest with you all, I

  58. have prayed of late that God would lay it upon

  59. the heart of one of our mothers in this building

  60. to name their daughter Genesis. And I believe in time

  61. we will have a little Genesis walking around in this place.

  62. The name Genesis means origin. If you want to read

  63. about the creation of the world or about the existence

  64. of mankind, read this particular sacred writing. The Lord, the

  65. Word himself, the Creator, did something huge and great when

  66. he spoke this world into existence. As travelers, people that

  67. visited six or seven countries recently in less than two

  68. weeks time, Sister how and I did this, and we

  69. can tell you that the world is a big place.

  70. And we are told that the inhabitants of this world

  71. are in number of seven plus billion people. And I know,

  72. the more explorations that I do in this world, I

  73. realize just how big it is.

  74. It's huge.

  75. And so after the Lord made man in his image,

  76. he blessed the man and his wife, and he commanded

  77. them to be fruitful and multiply. And the Lord went

  78. on to tell them to have dominion over the animal

  79. kingdom and to take care of their little part of paradise.

  80. The garden of Eden was a very special place, and

  81. God told the man Adam to keep it and to

  82. take care of it. And if you travel with Brother

  83. Nathaniel and I to the island of Dominica down in

  84. the Caribbean Sea, you will see people that take this

  85. verse literally and they feel it their personal responsibility to

  86. beautify their island known as the Nature's Island. And Sister

  87. Howell was amazed during this last missionary trip as she

  88. accompanied us at the beauty of the island. Now keep

  89. in mind her and I have visited some other islands

  90. of let and she noted that those other islands are

  91. not nearly as beautiful, and that is because people of

  92. those islands do not feel the need to beautify that island.

  93. There is no doubt there is a natural beauty about

  94. those other islands. But the island of Dominica is more

  95. beautiful because the government and people fill the need to

  96. decorate their island with natural resources such as palm trees

  97. and flowers and plants. And it's truly a paradise upon

  98. this earth. And I'm thankful that Adam and Eve were

  99. willing to do just exactly what the Lord had commanded

  100. them to do. In fact, it was a huge undertaken

  101. for man and woman to begin to populate the world

  102. with little Adam and Eves such a big place. How

  103. can you populate such a big place? But they got

  104. busy working within their own little piece of paradise. And

  105. there's a lot of people in this world today. They

  106. don't get a lot done because they don't learn how

  107. to work in their own little piece of paradise. They're

  108. so busy thinking about this and that their mind is

  109. a thousand or ten thousand miles away from where it

  110. ought to be. I've learned that sometimes it's all in

  111. the little details of life. That's what makes the difference

  112. in families, in relationships, in work relationships, marital romantic relationships,

  113. is that somebody is paying attention to the little details.

  114. A little while ago, I asked, who likes white chocolate?

  115. Who likes milk chocolate, who likes dark chocolate? Why would

  116. a pastor ask congret against that kind of question?

  117. And because I wanted to know, what do you like?

  118. What do you care about? What matters to you?

  119. A lot of marital relationships are strained because the other

  120. party is not at all concerned about what the other

  121. one likes. A lot of times, I'm busy, A lot

  122. of times, most times throughout the day, I'm busy. But

  123. even if I'm busy, and Sister Howell approaches me in

  124. my office or the recliner or out in the yard

  125. while I'm doing something, and she says something to me,

  126. and I realized I was so busy I didn't pay

  127. attention to what she's saying.

  128. And just a few seconds later, I'm not really sure

  129. what she said.

  130. I'll call her and I'll say, Charity, hold on, just

  131. a minute, walk back over here and tell me what

  132. you just said, because the words of your mouth they

  133. mean something to me. And I've heard people before express

  134. to us that they suffer emotionally and mentally because a

  135. father or a mother refused to use three little words

  136. with him. The mother and the father wouldn't say these

  137. three little, itty bitty words I love you. I remember

  138. years ago telling the Howell boys, it's one thing to

  139. say love you.

  140. It's one thing to say love you.

  141. But whenever you can look at that parent and without

  142. reservation and hesitation, say I love you. I told him

  143. when they were little. Why is it so hard to

  144. say I love you? It's huge, sister Woot when we

  145. use that little itty bitty word, eye Oh, the responsibility,

  146. the involvement, the emotional, the personality, all of the personal

  147. things involved with that word, I immediately's associated. And so

  148. God looked down upon this earth and he saw that

  149. Adam was doing everything that he needed to do, and

  150. Adam was fostering a relationship with his Lord. But we

  151. know the subtle serpent come in and he began to

  152. distract even Adam from doing what they needed to do,

  153. what God had told them to do.

  154. Brother Philip, it.

  155. Was in that small, little detail that he paid no

  156. mine too. She wasn't faithful in everything that God had

  157. told her to do. And we know that when God

  158. placed them in that little piece of paradise, he expected

  159. stewardship with faithfulness. So in the Book of Beginnings we

  160. read of the beginning of mankind and we learn the

  161. origin of a principle that God expects us to be

  162. trustworthy and faithful.

  163. Little things are big to him.

  164. I remember when I was a little boy, sometimes around Christmas,

  165. children would receive something called Uncle Milton's aunt Farm. How

  166. many of y'all remember that? And all it was was

  167. just this small little canister or container, and it was

  168. constructed of a green or a bluish co collared frame,

  169. and Brother Nathaniel, it was encased with glass or plastic panels,

  170. and we would look upon that and we knew we

  171. were supposed to put some.

  172. Dirt in there.

  173. And then in order for that little tiny container to

  174. become an ant colony, we had to go out to

  175. Popper or Grandma's backyard and get a scoop of fire ants,

  176. good old Florida fire ants, and put them down in

  177. that little science project. And Brother Nathaniel, I remember filling

  178. up one particular Uncle Milton's ant farm, and putting all

  179. them fire ants in there, and putting the top on it,

  180. going in there and putting that on my dresser in

  181. my bedroom, and Brother Jesse, I thought.

  182. About all of those.

  183. Moments that I spent standing there watching them colonize that

  184. little container. I saw ants begin into tunnel. I saw

  185. ants participate in teamwork. I saw ants, sister, how will

  186. transport food from point A to point B? We know

  187. in the Bible and Proverbs, chapter number six and verse

  188. number six that said, consider the ant, thou sluggard grace,

  189. Consider the ant, Dylan, consider the ant.

  190. They don't have a foreman, but they are faithful.

  191. They don't have somebody looking over their shoulder, but they

  192. are faithful in the little things. And it didn't matter

  193. whether or not they were in our backyard or in

  194. Uncle Milton's ant farm, which was nothing more than a little, tiny,

  195. narrow container in my bedroom, those ants found purpose every

  196. day to do something because their commander in chief, their creator,

  197. had demanded stewardship with faithfulness. We know that not only

  198. did the Creator require of Adam and Eve's stewardship with faithfulness,

  199. but the Lord required the same thing of the ant.

  200. And I want people in this building here to know

  201. that God is expecting faithfulness in all things out of us,

  202. just like he did with Adam and Eve, and also

  203. with Abraham, who is known as the Father of the faithful.

  204. One that earned that title because when God spoke to

  205. him in his comfort zone, he felt like God was

  206. faithful and God was trustworthy, and he needed to trust

  207. the Lord and obey the Lord even when it didn't

  208. make sense. And he is known as the Father and

  209. of the faithful because he left his comfort zone and

  210. went into the unknown, not knowing where God had sent him,

  211. searching for a city that hath foundation.

  212. Oh, come on, whose murder and maker is God.

  213. But everywhere Abraham went he prospered and owned this journey

  214. of life as he experienced it day by day, day

  215. after day, this man prospered and God brought great abundance

  216. and wealth into his life because even though he was

  217. searching for finality in his situation, while he was there,

  218. wherever he was at, he was busy doing something. Come on,

  219. now we know concerning the coming of the Lord. We

  220. are watching and we are waiting for his soon appearing.

  221. But brother Jesse even the Lord said, OCCUPI till I come.

  222. We are blessed to have preachers that know the mind

  223. of the Lord, preachers that come to the pool it

  224. and preach what the saith God. We know that Abraham

  225. too had heard from the Lord, and Abraham had this

  226. relationship with the Lord that when God wanted to do

  227. something huge, Abraham God a hold of the little details

  228. the prophet Amos set in chapter number three and verse

  229. number seven. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but

  230. he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. This

  231. past Wednesday Night's message was about servants and their servitude,

  232. about how the prodigal son left out a son and

  233. he came home with the right attitude, petitioning and requesting

  234. of his father that he can labor as a heired

  235. of servant. I wonder how many people in this building

  236. here tonight value or put a high price tagger on

  237. stewardship and a faithfulness. I wonder how many people in

  238. this building tonight, besides Mother Thomas Charity would say, there

  239. is no doubt the Lord is looking.

  240. At the little details.

  241. You're asking God to speak to you in your life,

  242. and there's no doubt. Abraham and Amos would say, if

  243. you've got the right relationshipping with the Father, that the

  244. Father will speak to you, because if you stay closer

  245. to the Master, and if you wait on him hand

  246. in punt and you have an intimacy between you and

  247. the Master, it's not that eventually you will hear something

  248. you should not know about her. It is eventually they

  249. will feel that you're trustworthy and faithful enough because of

  250. your stewardship to tell you about what's fixing to go down,

  251. or what's forthcoming, or what's about to happen because of

  252. that relationship with the Master, and revelation is brought forth.

  253. And that's what happened in the life of Abraham. As

  254. we read our text, the Bible said that God spoke

  255. with the other members of the triune Godhead, and so

  256. we need to tell Abraham.

  257. About this thing that we're about to do.

  258. If you're living your life with Christians concerning direction, it

  259. is because that relationship with the Master is not how

  260. it needs to be. I'll tell you one thing the

  261. sister Howell and I have never had a problem with,

  262. and that is knowing the weal of God or the

  263. mind of God. The reasons for that is and we

  264. learned years ago. If we will keep a closeness between

  265. us and the Lord, he will reveal his intentions to us,

  266. not only for us our family, but also for this

  267. church family. If you're full of questions here tonight and

  268. uncertainties concerning your future, it is because you do not

  269. have the right relationship with the Lord. So God wants

  270. to tell the father of the faithful about what he's

  271. gonna do. And Abraham is thankful that the Lord is

  272. not gonna hide it.

  273. That is determinology that the Lord are used.

  274. Shall we hide these things from Abraham? You will remember

  275. the prophet Elijah, while speaking of someone, he said, the.

  276. Lord has chosen to hide this staying from me.

  277. As I begin to pray, I realize, Sister Wooding, there

  278. are some people lost in a vastness and of darkness

  279. because they do not have the revealed will of God.

  280. And the reason they don't have the revealed word of

  281. God is because and they don't have a relationship and

  282. with the Lord. So get the imagery here. God has

  283. had enough and country more lingo. He is prepared to

  284. wipe these people off the face.

  285. Of the earth.

  286. And because of their wickedness. Their wickedness is enormous and

  287. it's huge.

  288. It's great.

  289. And brother Nathaniel, because of the magnitude or the enormity

  290. of their wickedness and their annihilation will be great.

  291. It'll be enormous, It'll be huge. I remember when.

  292. Donald Trump first ran for the presidency of the United States,

  293. one of his favorite words was this huge. We heard

  294. him say, this is going to be huge. And you

  295. know what, Sonoma and her sister city tomorrow, they could

  296. expect nothing less than total destruction and complete annihilation for

  297. their sins of homosexuality. Sid of me, all of those

  298. gross sins and that they were committing did not come

  299. without price, and they did, in fact come with a

  300. huge price.

  301. And there's a lot of young people.

  302. They focus on the big things of life, and they

  303. the focus on something big that they.

  304. Want to get into.

  305. They focus on some big adviction, they focus on some

  306. big exploration, and they failed to realize there is a

  307. miracle standing or working for their good right there in

  308. front of them. I want you to know I did

  309. not learn what I know about the ant because I

  310. was in the backyard.

  311. I learned that they practiced the teamwork. I learned that

  312. take transported food. Oh, come on, should I say it?

  313. And I learned that they were busy, busy, busy.

  314. Working below the surface. And because I brought them in

  315. to my little space.

  316. And I want you to know, they were not out

  317. in the wide world. They were in their captivity, so

  318. to speak. That they weren't and they colonized, and they've

  319. done what they could do.

  320. While they could do it.

  321. And I'm telling her how young people forget about the

  322. big dreams, forget about them, and pictures that.

  323. Are huge, forget about her.

  324. That's for race and the uncharted and the unknown and

  325. faith reality.

  326. But none of it will never become a reality without

  327. a relationship with the.

  328. Lord, and knows how to reveal his secrets, what to

  329. his servants. So I preached about the servants and their servitude,

  330. and Amos said, he revealeth his secrets unto his servants,

  331. the prophets, little humans. So the creation of the world

  332. was huge, but the massive act of judgment against Solomon

  333. Gamar was huge, I'm telling you, is equally huge as

  334. the creation of the world was.

  335. It's gonna be the case when God.

  336. Destroys this world, when the earth itself melts with a

  337. fervent heat. You looking for something huge. I want you

  338. to know Hell He's going to be huge. I want

  339. you to know that Hell is growing every day. Hell

  340. knows the plan and the purpose of Almighty God better

  341. than some of us do. I want you to know

  342. that the inferno called Hell, that place about her darkness,

  343. that lake afire. However you want to preach up, I

  344. want you to know, it's huge. There will never be

  345. a neighbor there. There won't never be a friendship there.

  346. There won't never be a companion there. There will never

  347. be a sense of security there. There will never be

  348. a sense of love there. I'm gonna tell you. If

  349. you stay lost to you know, you child, You're gonna

  350. be lost. You know, you tell Sometimes it's best to

  351. just figure out that you belong on your little parcel

  352. of ground. Impressor pee Patrall, you right take her seriously.

  353. Depress a little cultry or church, you right take it seriously.

  354. If there's one child, you right take her how seriously,

  355. as mother Philip.

  356. Does ay them. We don't have to have a house.

  357. For her kids to appreciate a child, I tell her,

  358. somebody here tonight, you're looking for huge.

  359. I want you to know her little things matter to God.

  360. Man in these huge acts of God, the world never

  361. forgets that He's God. And call them natural disasters, they

  362. can call them acts of God. I'm telling you the

  363. United States of America is no different than any other

  364. nation that they've experienced an act of nature or an

  365. act of God. It has nothing to do with the

  366. strength of Mother Nature and Father Time. It has everything

  367. to do with the Almighty God. And sometimes he punishes us,

  368. little humans. And you know why. He punishes us for

  369. our little, little, little faith. He punishes us for our

  370. lack of faith. He punishes us as to how our

  371. little friend, the Finite self because of our faithlessness. He

  372. told us Servant Abraham what he intended to do, and

  373. he gave warnings. He made a way of escape, and

  374. he proved to be faithful to humanity. He warned to

  375. help them, but if they didn't accept the help, they

  376. would be destroyed. The Bible say, concerning sin, he is

  377. our way of escape. Concerning hell, he is our way

  378. of escape. And I want to serve notice on hell

  379. right here, right now, and tell our young people concerning temptation,

  380. he is our way of escape. You say, but that's

  381. huge because of the day and hour that I am

  382. living in.

  383. It didn't matter if you were living in.

  384. The day and hour of Abraham and the sister city

  385. Solomon tomorrow around the corner, or you're living near Miami, Florida,

  386. or Los Angeles, California. I want you to know he

  387. has made a ray of escape from temptation.

  388. Oh thank God.

  389. Sometimes I think we'll sing that song a little too

  390. free mindedly.

  391. Oh how the heart is tempted to sin.

  392. I tell you, if you'll walk in the spirit, who

  393. will not fulfill the lust of the fashion, how you're

  394. gonna make it? Abraham, one step at a time, ten

  395. feet at a time, one mile at a time, one

  396. twel at a time. I will be faithful, I will

  397. be trustworthy. I will who may God no matter what?

  398. Amen?

  399. Amen, he told us servant Abraham what he intended to do.

  400. What about Whenever God speaks to you through the preacher,

  401. and God tells you, hey, there's harm coming your way.

  402. Sometimes maybe God said that, and God's trying to keep

  403. you out of harm's way. Then other times, maybe the

  404. devil sent that you could ask job. It could come

  405. from all four corners and it could come from either

  406. the Prince of the Air, or it could come from

  407. the King of Glory.

  408. He told his servant what he intended to do.

  409. Listen, God hasn't commissioned us to take over the world

  410. by military might. God hasn't asked brother Nathaniel to name

  411. every animal on the planet. Every animal within the animal

  412. kingdom has to be named. Adam could say, that's huge,

  413. But you know what God did tell Brother Nathaniel to do.

  414. Give them daughters a good name. The Bible said, a

  415. good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,

  416. and love and favor, rather than silver and gold. And

  417. I want you to know Fathers has imported it was

  418. Let Adam name them beasts of the field, and the

  419. foul of the air and the marine life.

  420. The responsibility was huge.

  421. But the responsibility on your shoulders to name them kids

  422. the right names, Oh, come on now, and to bring

  423. them up into nurture and the admonition of the Lord.

  424. And if Abraham Lincoln's mother had not had nurtured him,

  425. if she had not have been faithful in those little things,

  426. O honest table would never have become her our king, David,

  427. I know Israel has got her beloved King, and we've

  428. got to our beloved president. It started out with a

  429. little washboard. Mama had a little cabin. Come on, a

  430. little school marm and a little school house. Somebody telling

  431. her little boy, I said, God is in arrested with.

  432. Them little things. They made something big to God.

  433. Man.

  434. I'm tired, I'll tell you that.

  435. But it's a huge responsibility to bring these children up

  436. in the nurture and ammunition of the Lord. And he

  437. has required little tiny things of most people who were

  438. in this building to night, go to the ant, dau

  439. slugger dealing, go to the ant, grace, go to the ant,

  440. and you look and you look at that teamwork, and

  441. you look at that transportation.

  442. Oh come on, now, you look at the way.

  443. That little tiny creature that's just hoping your pinky finger

  444. does it crush it?

  445. You look at how frail.

  446. Life is for such an insignificant finite being, But yet

  447. in it it possesses a work ethic that is superior

  448. to Jesse Howell, and that is saying something. And that's

  449. what I'm trying to tell you. At the end of

  450. this life, God's gonna be looking for servants that he

  451. can say well done.

  452. Well.

  453. Whenever his army comes marching in, I wanna be in

  454. that number. I hope he never sends a marching band

  455. of army ants in, and all of us have to

  456. get down there on that street of golden and God, say,

  457. consider the ant, How sluggard you should have worked while

  458. I was dead. You should have reached the least and

  459. the lost and the lordly. I'm not gonna stand here

  460. and tell you you've got a green passer into the

  461. glory world. I'm telling somebody here to night, go to

  462. the ant to a com Milton's poem. Order it off

  463. of e Pay order that old answer antiqua, you little

  464. thing off of Amazon if you can find it. A

  465. considered the ant, I say, consider the faithfulness of the air.

  466. I sluggard.

  467. When I get a million dollar house, I'll clean it.

  468. When I get a million dollar business, how i'll push it.

  469. When I get that thirty dollars an hour job, how

  470. I'll work hard. Bless God, you shouldn't even hit this

  471. news button on a six dollars and fifty cent an

  472. hour job. That there'll be such a thing, he said,

  473. I no, boy, Ye, sister Wooten, he has not required

  474. big things of us. He has not required huge things

  475. of us tonight, Sister Howell. But every individual needs to

  476. be trustworthy in small responsibilities that he is placed in

  477. your hands. I've seen people before act like they would

  478. be better parents if they had a dozen kids.

  479. I tell you what would happen.

  480. It'd be a dozen more Hellions than the one they have.

  481. Notice the Lord revealed his will and planning Abraham because

  482. of abraham faithfulness. He heard things other wouldn't hurt. He

  483. heard things others would not have heard because of his faithfulness. Hey,

  484. should we tell Abraham what we need to do? Should

  485. we tell Abraham what we've got to do? Yeah, you

  486. gotta tell him. Why should I tell him? Because look

  487. at him. He's down there working harder than anybody else.

  488. He's not stumbling into success. He's just simply being obedient

  489. from one place to the next. And when he's there,

  490. he's got good stewardship going on, and he's trustworthy and

  491. he's faithful.

  492. He's trustworthy.

  493. When there was just six or seven of us around here,

  494. now there's only a few more. There's only about eighty

  495. here tonight. I'm not passing pastoring eight hundred something people

  496. but you know what, I gotta be faithful, I gotta

  497. be trustworthy, and I have to handle these small responsibilities

  498. that he's placed in my hand. Abraham was a trustworthy servant.

  499. And I can tell there's just a handful of people

  500. in this building you don't like the idea of being

  501. a servant. Since the haw told me the other day,

  502. she's we didn't even discuss the sermon. This is the

  503. only thing she said. She said, Jeremy, last Wednesday night's

  504. sermon was just something else. And she said, I feel

  505. a kickback from just a handful of people when you

  506. talked about an employee is nothing less than a servant,

  507. nothing more than a servant, nothing less than a servant.

  508. You're a servant. And she said, I could tell some

  509. of them didn't like that. And I said, well, the

  510. whole thing about that message was if you can't be

  511. a good servant, you can't be a good son.

  512. Oh my God in heaven, if you were.

  513. To win the sweepshakes tomorrow, that's right, sluggard, Now you

  514. be polishing that jaguar, wouldn't you know? You wouldn't The

  515. Bible said, by much lawfulness of the hands the building

  516. to kaith since to how and I drove by a

  517. three million dollars church facility today, wondering if that would

  518. be something that God would have us purchase, help this

  519. people purchase. And you know what's as to how we

  520. could tell the ants we're doing a better job in

  521. the churchyard than the people were. I've never seen something

  522. so neglected as what I saw today. It is still

  523. worth a lot of money, is still very valuable, It's

  524. still very precious. But Brother Nathaniel, I'm gonna say it again,

  525. the little bitty ants were more more faithful to the

  526. commandments of God than the ministerial, pastoral and personal staff there.

  527. I'm just telling you what is a cry and shame.

  528. The Lord trusted Abraham with training those under his care

  529. and influence. The servant of the Lord will train and

  530. teach others. And you know what, not everybody's gonna listen.

  531. Some are gonna be bullheaded, some are gonna push boundaries,

  532. And you know what, they don't have to worry about

  533. you things anyway, because the lawbreaker, the disobedient, the unruly,

  534. their life usually ends up in shambles anyway. They usually

  535. end up with nothing. If they do live for any

  536. length of time at all. Most of them end up

  537. because they don't pay any attention to instruction, They disregard wisdom,

  538. They run past understandings, flag and warning signals, and they

  539. end up in a huge hell wondering will somebody speak

  540. to me words of truth, understanding of wisdom again, and

  541. there will never be another voice heard concerning how to

  542. correct the error of their ways. But right now you've

  543. got Abraham's walking around here, that's trying to instruct, that's

  544. trying to train, that's trying to teach. Listen, parents and preachers.

  545. God cares about what's going on into the house when

  546. church service is at being held. I love to hear

  547. crickets preach. Listen, parents and teachers. God is interested in

  548. what's going on at that house when church service is

  549. at being held. Faithfulness and the little things matters to

  550. the Lord. Faithfulness and the little things matters to the Lord.

  551. In Luke, chapter number sixteen, verse number ten and eleven,

  552. the Bible said, he that is faithful in that which

  553. is least is faithful also in much. And he that

  554. is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

  555. If he therefore, if you have not been faithful in

  556. the unrighteous man, and who will commit your trust to

  557. true riches. Every person prays that tonight knows much about

  558. the biblical character Abraham.

  559. He was a great man of God. Right. He was

  560. a great man of God that did great things for God. Right.

  561. Oh, but he didn't become great overnight. It was a process.

  562. This is what the Holy Ghost gave me while I

  563. was praying this morning. It wasn't a one step process.

  564. It wasn't a ten step process. It wasn't a hundred

  565. step process. It wasn't a thousand step process. It was

  566. a lifelong process of faithfulness. Well, I'm going to I'm

  567. going to well, I'm going to come in the morning.

  568. I'm gonna get up at ten thirty. I'm going to

  569. how I'm going to I'm going to I'm gonna clean

  570. my bedroom. I'm gonna pick up them dirty clothes. It's

  571. been in that corner, and I'm gonna drag him to

  572. the other corner, at least that other corners closer to

  573. the door. Grace, consider the ant thou sluggard dealing, Consider

  574. the ant now sluggard, Huh, the Lord new Abraham would

  575. do exactly what it told him to do now. I

  576. guarantee you it's these sluggards. Don't put this thing on repeat.

  577. They ain't gonna change the air of their ways. And

  578. I'll tell you there's nothing makes me sicker than watching

  579. a sluggarde. Look what doest thou down here? Jonah Sleeper,

  580. Brother Thomas, there, it ain't no sluggard. Hat, Brother Aaron,

  581. what ain't no sluggard?

  582. Huh?

  583. If I become maintenance supervisor or foreman, then I'm gonna

  584. feel like good morning, mercy, elders, get my back. The

  585. Lord knew Abraham would do exactly what he told him

  586. to do. He would speak to Abraham, and Abraham would

  587. pay attention and he would listen. He that hath an

  588. ear let him hear what the spirit said, unto the church,

  589. do you have yours? Listen to what the spirit is saying.

  590. Abraham would relocate if he needs too. He wouldn't meet

  591. with the altar when the Lord asked him to meet

  592. at the altar. It's a big thing, isn't it. It's

  593. huge when you relocate, EJ. Wallace, that's huge, Brother Gabriel,

  594. Brother Ej. It's huge when you pack your bags and

  595. move your family. It's huge.

  596. Some of y'all were willing to obey God in the

  597. huge things.

  598. But why are there some that will not do what

  599. God told them to do concerning the little things?

  600. I feel it. What about the big assignments?

  601. You're looking for them, but what about the small assignments?

  602. Matthew twenty five and twenty one.

  603. His Lord said it to him, Well done, thou, good

  604. and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things.

  605. That sounds little, doesn't it? I will make the ruler

  606. over many things that sounds huge. Doesn't hinto Thou into

  607. the joys of the Lord.

  608. You mean, if I tend the mind little family, if

  609. I tend to my little churchill, if I provide from

  610. my little family, if I provide sermons from my little church.

  611. When I get to heaven, I can expect something new.

  612. I'm telling you I ain't expected anything us in this life,

  613. but I'm expecting something ruder.

  614. For huge in the afterlife.

  615. The context of that is for the servants who've invested

  616. what their Master gave or lent them. Their faithfulness turned

  617. into fruitfulness. And that's what I want to leave with you.

  618. Your faithfulness will turn into fruitfulness. The Lord is looking

  619. for us to be consistent and dependent. While some of

  620. the investors fell short, others fulfilled their responsibility and obligations.

  621. Brother Nathaniel, before the martyr, was asked the question deny

  622. or die? He had to be faithful in the little things.

  623. The Lord watches how we handle the daily assignments of life.

  624. I remember watching old brother Platt show up on Saturdays

  625. at the Sister how and I got down here late

  626. because I had worked all day, Our family had cleaned

  627. up her own yard. We got prepared for Sunday. We

  628. drove down here late, late, late late, And even though

  629. we got here at two o'clock in the morning, hoping

  630. to get at least six hours sleep as a baseline,

  631. at six point thirty had old mow were fired up

  632. back there, and the kids they couldn't sleep.

  633. Through that old loud lawnmower.

  634. And Sister Platte's cold him, and she said, don't you

  635. know the preacher's only been in bed for four hours,

  636. and you're gonna mow around that parsonage down there. You're

  637. gonna mow around that church. Couldn't you at least wait

  638. till eight or nine o'clock? Little old Johnny Platt ready

  639. to be faithful, reminds me that old Church of God,

  640. Brother brother Herbie Twists. An hour before every service, he

  641. walked in there and through that light switch he went

  642. over and dropped them thermostats. You see, these men continued

  643. serving God and God's people even when what they did

  644. seemed ordinary, even when what they did was the same old,

  645. same old, even when what they did was repetitive, even

  646. when what they did was uneventful, even when what they

  647. did was unexciting. I'm telling you they weren't standing in

  648. the poolpit preaching a sermon, but I could tell Brother

  649. Johnny Platt was looking forward to Saturday as much as

  650. he was Sunday. I'm telling you, consider the ant dau Sluggard,

  651. Brother Platt, herb Betwists were consistent and dependent. They were

  652. faithful and reliable. They were dependable. And I want to

  653. close with this. As I was praying this afternoon, the

  654. Lord reminded me of the Emperor penguin, and Brother Tyler

  655. Wooton could tell you that the Emperor penguin is the

  656. largest of that species. And I know I've seen them.

  657. I'm telling you what I admire them. I guess I

  658. have looked at every type of penguin there is, And

  659. one time a zoo keeper told us that said that

  660. that emperor penguin. But they live in the Antarctic, if

  661. I'm not mistaken. And brother Tyler, he said that the

  662. males are the ones that incubate the eggs. He said

  663. that them female egg, them female penguins will lay those eggs,

  664. and that by the masses they will leave, and they

  665. will go hunt food for two to three months, and

  666. they leave that egg in the care of that male penguin.

  667. And that zoo keeper said that if that egg so

  668. much as touches the icy floor underneath their feet, that

  669. baby penguin dies, if it's for just a few seconds,

  670. and so for sixty five to seventy five days, I believe,

  671. They said, that male emperor penguin stands still balancing that

  672. egg on their little feet, and there's nothing but just

  673. a thin layer of penguin flesh, if you would, between

  674. their egg and death. And God put it in that

  675. emperor penguin not to save a nest, but to save

  676. one baby.

  677. And they will weather storms and suffer. They said.

  678. Of course, God equipped it them with oils and feathers,

  679. but they said, don't think they're not suffering. I said,

  680. what do you mean? They don't eat, sister woot and

  681. you're feeling it too. They don't eat that they might

  682. sustain another life. I'm gonna tell you when we get

  683. to heaven, I don't want a little microscopic sized ant

  684. to come storming in there to headquarters where the General,

  685. the creator of the cosmos is sitting there and ruling

  686. the universe from the sitting position and a little tiny

  687. voice of an itty bitty ants a reporting for duties.

  688. I don't want a little efferor penguin to come uddling

  689. up and saying I was more cautious and concerned about

  690. preserving a life than they were. I was more faithful

  691. and the little things let's stand. I feel like the

  692. Holy Ghost wants to help somebody in this service tonight.

  693. They're not feeling it. Some are, but the ones that

  694. need to understand what I'm saying are not getting it.

  695. Creation itself testifies against humanity by the masses, whether little

  696. or small. Creation says we can do better. Now, what

  697. about the human with that mind that God has given you?

  698. Do you know what makes us special?

  699. Our minds and our souls, Brother Jesse, soulless creatures are

  700. better stewards and more faithful in the little things.

  701. They say.

  702. If that male emperor penguin so much as Flinch's or

  703. gets startled and that egg rolls out on that icy floor,

  704. it's over. And the first thing then female lifelongmates do

  705. when they come home from hunting with food for the baby,

  706. and then next the male. So the first thing they

  707. do is walk over to their companion and look to

  708. see if their baby made it. And they said they

  709. will grieve that those male emperor penguins will grieve when

  710. they realize I didn't pull it off. I lost my

  711. one little ed biddy baby, God forbid. But if brother

  712. Philip lost his one little child, it would be earth shattering.

  713. And know how easily we lose one hour? And that's

  714. what Jesus said. What you could have went to prayer

  715. meeting with the creator of the cosmos for one hour.

  716. It don't take ten hours, ask Crystal Harris. It just

  717. takes an hour each day. Oh yes, so, Bud, let's

  718. about our heads.

  719. May we.

  720. Shall we close those eyes? Please?

  721. Is there somebody in this building right now that would say, preacher,

  722. I understand that little things are big to God. Little

  723. things are big to God. Now, can I ask you

  724. a question? Would you meet me your pastor in the altar?

  725. Because I feel like this little church means all the

  726. world to God. Well, I guess it's just a hand

  727. for of us. But it will be said by the

  728. ant and the Emperor Penguin's example, little things are big

  729. to him. The Emperor Penguin will incubate the egg in

  730. the harshest of conditions. He's faithful to do so and

  731. refuses to leave the egg. The martyr brother Jesse that

  732. refuses to deny and would rather die.

  733. He had been faithful.

  734. In church attendance, studious and studying the Word of God.

  735. But I don't have much. Little as so much when

  736. God is in it. There's a little man with a

  737. lunch box. That day the Master needed a handful of

  738. fish and bread that he could bless and provide in

  739. abundance for the masses. Little things are big to him.
