How many of you believe we have to work while
-
it as yet day, for the night cometh when no
-
man can work. I would like to dedicate tonight's sermon
-
to Sister Molly Wallace. She let me know this morning
-
at nine to eleven and a text message. She told
-
me and her husband that she had had a dream
-
last night, and these words came to mind in her dream,
-
while we can, we better get the Holy Ghost while
-
we can. We better get the Holy Ghost, or we
-
better get the Holy Ghost while we can.
-
And the Holy Ghost spoken to my.
-
Heart as I read those words that she wrote in
-
that text message. The title to tonight's message the deadline,
-
the deadline. Amen, I feel the Holy Ghost right now
-
in a mighty way. Brother Nathaniel, First Samuel, chapter number fifteen,
-
verses number twenty four through twenty nine.
-
My brother.
-
Saul said, unto Samuel, I have sinned, for I have
-
transgressed the commandments of the Lord and thy words, because
-
I feared the people and obeyed their voice. Now therefore
-
I pray THEE pardon my sin and turn again with
-
me that I may worship the Lord.
-
And Samuel said, unto Saul, I will not return.
-
With Thee, for thou hast rejected the word of the Lord,
-
and the Lord hath rejected THEE from being king over Israel.
-
And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid
-
hold upon the skirt of his man to win at rent.
-
And Samuel said unto him, the Lord hath rent the
-
kingdom of Israel from Thee this day, and hath given
-
it to a neighbor of thine that is better than thou.
-
And also the strength of Israel will not lie nor repent,
-
for he is not a man that he should repent.
-
It was too late to seek the Lord. It was
-
too late to call upon the Lord. Brother Jesse's Second Samuel,
-
chapter number five and verse number twenty four.
-
My brother, can it.
-
Be when thou hearest the sound of a going in
-
the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt
-
mistir thyself? For then shall the Lord go out before
-
thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
-
While you feel the presence of the Lord upon thee,
-
you need to do what the Lord has required of
-
you to do. Amen, Brother Caleb, Second Corinthians, chapter number
-
six and verse number two, My brother, before he saith
-
I have heard THEE in a time accepted, and in
-
the day of salvation, I've secured THEE.
-
Behold now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the
-
day of salvation.
-
Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the
-
day of salvation. Let's stand for the reading of our
-
Golden text numbers chapter number fourteen. If you have it, saymen,
-
beginning with verse number forty, the Bible says, and they
-
rose up early in the morning, and get them up
-
into the top of the mountain. Say low, we be here,
-
and we'll go up into the place which the Lord
-
hath promised, for we have sinned. And Moses said, wherefore
-
now do ye transgress the commandment of the Lord. But
-
it shall not prosper. Go not up, for the Lord
-
is not among you. That ye be not smitten before
-
your enemies. For the Amlakites and the Canaanites are there
-
before you, and ye shall fall by the sword because
-
ye are turned away from the Lord. Therefore the Lord
-
will not be with you. But they presume to go
-
up and too the hilltop. Nevertheless, the ark of the covenant,
-
the Lord and Moses departed not out of the camp.
-
Then the Malakites came down and the Canaanites which dwelled
-
in that hill and smoked them and discomforted them even
-
unto Horma. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we love and
-
we praise you. We thank you the opportunity to be
-
in your house tonight. We pray God, that you would
-
annoint this thy people, set of God that their ears,
-
and help them to hear what the spirit of God
-
says to this church tonight. God, I thank you for
-
this weekend. I thank you for the way the preachers
-
have obeyed the Lord, and the way the power of
-
God has been present. The way your spirit is pulled
-
and drawn men and women, boys and girls closer to you.
-
I thank you for that.
-
I pray that you would anoint this thy servant, set
-
a guard at my mouth, and help me to say
-
only those things you would have me to say, nothing
-
more or less. We pray that these sayings would go
-
below the shoulders where they saturate the spirit, heart, mind,
-
soul and body.
-
Help us not to hear only, but to heed.
-
We'll give you praise, honor, and glory, and maybe depart
-
this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name in
-
the church said hey, man, as you're being seated, to
-
look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, did you Oh,
-
there is a deadline to meet. Our text is found
-
in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the
-
Book of Numbers. The Bible readers among us tonight are
-
very familiar with some of the promises of God which
-
can be found throughout this sacred manuscript. In this divine
-
library of sixty six books, there are many precious promises
-
that the God of people, the God of mortals, the.
-
God of humans, has made with us.
-
And I'm very thankful for every promise that i have
-
received from the Lord. I have heard my wife before
-
say that in a time of prayer, she received a
-
precious promise from the Lord. Years ago, while a young
-
father of one son, I realized that my wife and
-
I were unable to have more children. In my living room,
-
where I like to make my altar unto the Lord
-
alone with God, I prayed on the left hand side
-
of that couch where I'd normally make my altar, and
-
on the left hand side of the left end of
-
that couch, I prayed, and I remember getting in the spirit,
-
and I asked.
-
God this question.
-
I said, God, do you still raise up men of God?
-
In this generation? Will you raise up men of God?
-
And in that moment, I felt the Spirit of God
-
illuminate my mind, and I had an understanding that in
-
my hand, so to speak, was a precious promise that
-
had been given to me from the hand of Almighty God.
-
That promise had exchanged hands. God had something for me,
-
and I had received it. Because as the youth group
-
sang a little while ago.
-
I prayed, and I prayed.
-
I call to the Lord until he heard me and
-
answered me. I know that I'm nobody. I know that
-
I'm the least among the brethren. But I'll tell you this,
-
the effectual, fervent prayer the righteous man and the righteous
-
woman of aileth much, including securing precious promises from Hallmighty God.
-
And so the Israelites in this time, there's no doubt
-
they had in their hand a very precious promise that
-
they had received of the Lord. Now you know about
-
this narrative, you understand exactly what went on here. The
-
children of Israel had been weary living in the land
-
of Egypt, and they were tired of the bullying of
-
the Egyptians. They were sick and tired of the tyranny
-
of the Egyptians. And the Bible said that they cried
-
out unto the Lord by the reason of their affliction
-
and their bondage.
-
And the Lord heard them, and God rose up a.
-
Deliverer, and that precious baby up promise, that goodly child,
-
that one that was born to be a deliverer, or
-
done exactly what God had commanded and commissioned him to do.
-
Moses was obedient unto the heavenly calling, and Moses forsook
-
a lot of things in order to align his will
-
with the perfect will of God. We know of all
-
of the wonderful things that the Egyptians had to offer
-
this Hebrew pharaoh to be Moses. But Moses was not
-
one to be flattered. Moses was not one that would
-
please himself with the pleasures of this.
-
World or of sin.
-
For a season, Moses was looking down the road, and
-
Moses realized that these Egyptians are not my people, and
-
these are not the people of promise. I'm not supposed
-
to be in this land. And there's no doubt he
-
was familiar with Jehovah, God and he understood how God
-
identified himself as God of Abraham and the God of
-
Isaac and the God of Jacob. And there's no doubt
-
Moses knew that God had never identified himself as the
-
God of Pharaoh. So Moses wanted to be among his
-
own people. Moses did not desire to be a leader
-
amongst his own people. But God chose Moses for such
-
a time as this because God knew when he called
-
upon Moses to do what God needed him to do
-
for his people, Moses would do exactly what God had
-
asked him to do, without excuse, without asid can God
-
for more time to pray it through.
-
Immediately right then and there.
-
Moses would rather dwell in the wilderness as a sheepherder
-
or as a shepherd. I'm telling you exile from the
-
land of Egypt in order to find himself dead center
-
in the perfect will of God. Now that's easier said
-
than done. There's people in this building right now. Over
-
the last services, you have heard the spirit of God
-
woo you. You have heard the voice of God calling
-
to you. You have heard the voice of God commands
-
you to do certain things, including entering that private place
-
or that secret place of prayer and putting your petition
-
unto the Lord, whether it be a petition or a
-
request for salvation, deliberance, sanctification, or Holy Ghost baptism. And
-
I feel it in my spirit right here tonight that
-
some have not done as the Holy Ghost has not requested,
-
as the Holy Ghost has commanded.
-
You to do.
-
And you don't even realize that inside of you there
-
is a self will that is determined to tear you apart,
-
and there is a self desire and a self will
-
within you determined to leave you in captivity, to leave
-
you in bondage.
-
You don't realize that there's a reason.
-
For the call to come out of the land of
-
your spiritual captivity. And so we know that Moses was
-
obedient and doing exactly what God had told him to do.
-
And so at some point he takes all of these
-
Hebrews into the lad Up Canaan and they're about to
-
make their entry into the Promised Land. And Brother Richard Jacob,
-
there is no doubt that there was an element of
-
people that were willing to do what God had told
-
them to do, and that was to go ahead and
-
cross the threshold and get a hold of the promise
-
and to occupy that promised land. But there were twelve delegates,
-
if you would, or twelve scouts that were sent into
-
the land, and it was their job and their duty
-
to survey the circumstances and situations they'rein and to determine
-
whether or not it was time to do what God
-
had told them to do. Now, I appreciate the leadership
-
of Moses and Aaron.
-
I appreciate the scouts.
-
Going in and doing what they did. I do not
-
want to contradict the decision of Moses or the decision
-
of God Almighty. But I want you to know that
-
when God speaks to you, and God tells you to
-
go forward, to cross the threshold and to enter the
-
promised land, there is no reason whatso heavened for anybody
-
to send out scouts and to have them walking around
-
determining whether or not they're able to defeat their enemy.
-
Even if the intention was good to go.
-
In there and to bring back a good report of
-
the land that flowed with milk and honey. But even
-
though these intentions seemingly were right, as they looked further
-
into it, as they considered the depth and the details
-
of the situation, they noticed the children of Anak, they
-
noticed the giants that were in the land.
-
Perhaps while they were.
-
Sampling them the milk and the honey of the land,
-
and while they were rejoicing in the fact that they
-
could possess their promise, one of those ugly ogres walked by,
-
and mentally and internally, immediately they begin to feel defeated.
-
In fact, the Bible said that after these men had
-
come back to Moses and they gave an evil report,
-
ten of the twelve told the people in Moses and
-
therein that we are not able.
-
To possess our promise, were.
-
As good as defeated already, and there is no reason
-
at all for us to advance upon that that is ours.
-
It's the first number one after number fourteen says that
-
this negative report or this negative energy generated negative emotions.
-
And sister how of the Bible said that Israel lifted up.
-
Their voice, and Israel cride, and.
-
They wept through the night when they should have been
-
praying through the night, they are weeping hopelessly and through
-
the night. You see the ugliness of unbelief his own
-
display here. Now, I know there's some people in this building.
-
You tell me you've been seeking deliverance over habitual sin.
-
You tell me you've been seeking to be a blood bought,
-
born again child of God. You tell me you've been
-
seeking sactification and Holy Girl's baptism. But can I ask
-
you the question, have you been seeking him as the
-
spirit draws you? We know the Bible saying no man
-
can come unto the.
-
Father unless the Spirit draw him.
-
I feel like there's people in this building that do
-
not realize they are their own worst enemy. Their old
-
self will is disassembling their promise. Their old self will
-
is tearing up the passport to prosperity. Their old self will,
-
which includes rebellion and stubbornness, is forfeiting their future. Come on, now,
-
you see they begin to murmur after they wept all
-
night long. Who were they murmuring against spiritual leadership? They
-
were murmuring against their God and their god giving and
-
god ordain leadership.
-
Name Moses and his brother Aaron.
-
The whole congregation began to speaking directly to Moses, and
-
they were harsh words. Sister would not couldn't imagine anybody
-
in this building speaking the pastor HOWE will like this?
-
But Brother Nathaniel, they said.
-
I wish I'd have died in Egypt, And they went
-
on to say, if we hadn't had died in Egypt,
-
I wish we'd have died in the wilderness rather than
-
face the sword of the Canaan Knots and the giants.
-
They saw themselves as grasshoppers, the Bible said, unable to
-
defeat the Canaan knights and the Canaan Knots, they said,
-
perceive us as little harmless insects.
-
As well.
-
You've seen Moses had sent out Joshua and Caleb on purpose.
-
I feel like it to balance the other Scouts and
-
the other witnesses and the other testimonies. When I heard
-
Brother Caleble and Better Phil a power will testifye tonight,
-
I could tell that there are two in our prayers
-
that took the heart what the Spirit of God has
-
been saying under this church, and with smiles on their
-
faces and fire in their soul, and both Brother Caleble
-
and Better feel a pad a positive report for this
-
people here tonight.
-
There is no doubt.
-
There's some other Scouts in this building tonight to people
-
who know the services have been good, they know that
-
Bethel is a fruitful land blessed by the Lord. They
-
see sister Howell, mister Here, her sister Smith, and Sister Hammond,
-
Brother road Cap and brother Jessee, and brother Nathaniel.
-
Eat up the fruit of the land.
-
They've seen Betther and Sister Staric partake the milk and
-
the honey. I want to tell you all, twelve hebrew spies,
-
no doubt new that Canaan would have been her wonderful
-
place to call home. He would have been a wonderful
-
place to sit and incomfort.
-
But you know what they.
-
Got to, looking at the impossibility of occupying that land.
-
Or posssing it, has their own.
-
And I want you to know there's nothing more ugly
-
and unbelief, And there's nothing more damning than for you
-
to send out a scouter, her doubt and the overlooker
-
what God has told you to do. God has told
-
some of you to seek Him while he may be found,
-
and no call upon him while he is near.
-
This lets me know there is a deadline.
-
There can't come a time when you pass the part
-
of no return.
-
You can come to a place where you can seek.
-
The Lord carefully and bitterly with tears, and God will
-
nodder hear you he the Caleb read our third context, has.
-
Said, now here is the time today, here's the day
-
of our salvation. I'm almost done, unless the Holy Ghost
-
encourages me to preach a little longer.
-
You so what out out of behind.
-
I'm sure everyone of these scouts thought it would be
-
the perfect place for them and their families if it
-
wasn't infested with their armed enemies and the giants of Anak.
-
Their report wasn't one of encouraging words. Their words of
-
their reports spread fear throughout the entire camp of Israel.
-
I want to tell our babies and our boys and
-
girls something. It doesn't matter who in this building acts
-
like you can't get a prayer through. It doesn't matter
-
who in this building comes to prayer meeting and girls
-
with a frown on their face. It doesn't matter how
-
many people come to the altar and go back.
-
To their pew with a frown on their face.
-
I want you to know the salvation is free, Salvation
-
is full, and salvation is for you. I want you
-
to know that the Holy Gess baptism.
-
Here's a promise.
-
And just as the Lord had told the disciples to
-
go into the Upper Room and the tarry until they
-
be adue with power from on high.
-
He lets me know there was a deadline.
-
If you don't get in that upper room, have the
-
appointed place, have the appointed timer. It's gonna be too late.
-
I said, it's gonna be too late. You better get
-
in while the spirit of God has the doors of
-
your spiritual promise.
-
Lad open Ah.
-
There's no doubt you have witnessed folks in this building
-
enjoy eating of the blessings of the Lord. There's no
-
doubt you could test to every sinner that passes by
-
your way that you have watched Brother Nathaniel enjoyed being
-
amongst the heavenly host as the Holy Ghost has just
-
blessed his soul. Brother Nathaniel has never since of time
-
that God was not with him.
-
Do you know why that is?
-
It's because when God shows up, he's got time for God.
-
And when God points him in a direction, he walks
-
in that direction because he knows if I'm going to
-
be taken by God into the will of God, as Inocubold,
-
i must walk with God.
-
Brother Nathaniel told us in a recent message that.
-
Adam lost out with God because he'd rather hide from God.
-
And what he had fashioned to be a grove instead
-
of war with God. In the cool of the day,
-
through the garden that he attended. I know there's somebody
-
I'm preaching to the night that one day we'll wake
-
up in hell. Her wake up at home and realized,
-
you waited one day too late. The songwriter wrote these lyrics,
-
you came one day too late. You came one day
-
too late. The Lord has come and you have been
-
left behind. This morning, Sister Howell had good intentions. She
-
played one song. Around eight am. She opened Spotify and
-
she played these lyrics, It is never too late.
-
How many of y'all familiar with that?
-
Not long after that, the text message from Sister Molly
-
came into my phone and I heard what.
-
She had said.
-
I read what she had wrote, Brother Jessea said, we
-
better seek the Holy Ghost while we can. We better
-
be filled with the Holy Ghost while we can. We
-
better receive the Holy Ghost while we can. Sister Howill
-
didn't play another song. She didn't know what I had read.
-
But around nine twenty I walked by my wife as
-
we were getting ready to walk out the door. I said,
-
I appreciate that song that you were playing. I appreciate
-
the lyrics, I appreciate the hope that is in that.
-
And with a tear rolling down her face, and she said,
-
I woke up this morning with that o my mind.
-
I'm thankful for the blessed hope to your mama that
-
it'll never be too late. But I said, honey, that
-
it is not applicable to everybody, because God just spoke
-
to me to tell somebody tonight.
-
Hey, come on now, to tell somebody tonight.
-
And in this moment, right now, you can't wait until
-
it's too late. I said, you can't wait until it's
-
too late. I'm telling you you better seek God while
-
he may be found. You better throw now while he
-
is near. Too sarm he can say it's never too late,
-
and while to others he can say it's too late.
-
The God of Heaven and Earth can close doors so
-
tightly that open doors are no longer open, and they
-
will never be opened again. No man can open the door,
-
not a weeping mother, not a weeping pastor.
-
Not a wee and father.
-
On somebody that goes too far, somebody that goes in
-
the wrong direction too long, somebody for a game or
-
for show, or out of fear, or for whatever reason,
-
just says I'm gonna stand right here on the threshold
-
of the Promised Land, and regardless of what God is saying,
-
I am going to determine whether or not me or
-
my family or me as an individual is safe going
-
into there.
-
Can I tell you if.
-
You don't go in when God tells you to go in,
-
you may never ever know what a promised land is like.
-
Your children may never know what that mealk tasted like.
-
They may never know what that golden honey tastes like.
-
Joshua and Caleb's report was one of encouraging words, and
-
even though their words that were most encouraging and began
-
to spread through the camp, it was not enough to
-
sway the congregation to do what was right. I pray
-
to God that somebody received the Holy Ghost, just as
-
these twelve or thirteen did three and a half years
-
ago in that mighty revival of spontaneous I'm telling you inspiration,
-
a spontaneous order, a spontaneous design. Right in that moment,
-
we realize that God was gonna answer some prayers that
-
we had been praying for about fifteen something years. For
-
fifteen years, God finally said, I'm gonna pour out my
-
spirit upon your young men. I'm gonna pour out my
-
spirit upon your young ladies. And we watched in less
-
than a week's time people get saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost
-
fielding and called to preach. And some of the mothers
-
and fathers of Israel in this building can tell you
-
that the result of that is these preachers that got
-
called to preach in that Reviveaul. There are some of
-
the finest Holy Ghost annoying men and the Holiness movement
-
at this time. But I want you to know, when
-
God said right now, we didn't come to the rolodexa
-
on our desk. We didn't scroll through the context on
-
our phone and look to schedule a preacher.
-
At a later date and time.
-
We didn't look for somebody to take time to catch
-
a meeting and.
-
To come here.
-
We knew that the Holy Ghost had orchestrated that repipal,
-
the Holy Ghost had.
-
Ordered those instructions, and.
-
The Holy ghosts had ordered that service and ordained that meeting.
-
And because we let the Holy Ghost do what he
-
wanted to do right now, right did in there the
-
rest is history.
-
There are possessors of the process.
-
In other words, when the Holy Ghost said, right now,
-
now is the time. Today is today we had revival,
-
and some of you don't even realize that's what we've
-
been doing now for about two or three weeks. But
-
if my Holy Ghost Censor has any indicator all to
-
this group of people that we've got a problem, I
-
can tell you already I feel his spirit drawing back already.
-
I feel like the preachers have pre I feel like
-
to annoy and was present.
-
The annoying of God was present to destroy the yoke.
-
The power of God was present to break habits, to
-
shack to shadow shackles, hey, to destroy fetters, and to
-
set people free from their self, to set people free
-
from rebellion, to set people free from stubbornness, to set
-
people free from their self.
-
Weill, hey, come on, But for whatever.
-
Reason, we don't see brokenness, for whatever reason, in our
-
movements throughout the world today, in this country, we don't
-
see contrition. We don't see humility, we don't see godless sorrow.
-
We don't see true repentance. And I'll tell you what
-
will happen. Revival will become a lost hope and a
-
loss cause for people that refuse to turn away from sin.
-
For people that refuse to humble them self, for people
-
that refuse to pray, God will not heal their land,
-
much less bless them with the land of poet with
-
the blessings of God. And for some of you that
-
missed them last few services, you really missed it. We
-
have been having some great services. I know there was
-
a time in my life that I could tell the
-
spirit of God was drawing of fifteen or sixteen year
-
old boy, and I remember thinking, this shouldn't be happening.
-
Everything's going well in my life. I don't have an
-
enemy in the world. I don't have an addiction, I
-
don't have a habit. There's nothing wrong. There's no relationship issues.
-
There's no child parent relationship issues. There's really no pastor
-
and parishioner relationship issues.
-
I'm just busied living life.
-
And I remember, though, feeling something in my heart that
-
was letting me know God was on the other end
-
of the rope. God was on the other end of
-
the line, and Sister how well, he wasn't.
-
Speaking to me in an audible voice.
-
But I realized that my normal, happy, go lucky self
-
was not as jolly as.
-
I normally had been.
-
I realized my mind was more troubled concerning eternity than
-
it had ever been before. I realized that eternal issues
-
and affairs were more on my mind than they had been.
-
I had an awareness of the eternal whereabouts of my soul.
-
And one evening, on the way.
-
To camp meeting at the Church of God camp meeting,
-
I looked at a person of spiritual leadership and I said,
-
I want to share something with you. And that went
-
against my nature to open my mind, heart and to
-
share it with people. I never had a problem open
-
to my heart and sharing it with God.
-
But better feel up.
-
I was so troubled about my soul and it's eternal
-
whereabouts them that I asked the spiritual leader. I said,
-
have you ever felt like you're gonna die? Have you
-
ever felt like you're not promised tomorrow?
-
Have you ever felt like on the.
-
Inside there's a still small voice saying prepare to me?
-
To God and that spiritual juggernaut, that spiritual leader, he said,
-
do you know I've been feeling the same thing of late?
-
He said, you have described me perfectly what I've been
-
a feeling.
-
Can I tell you that God was going to usher
-
us into a revival that would push us out of
-
compromising churches. God ushered us into a revival, a spontaneous
-
revival that would call us from un clean situations in
-
religious conditions, unto clean and holy situations in religious environments.
-
I'm telling you, God call us out from among those
-
that would not separate themselves from sin.
-
And there was a mighty repiple on the heels of
-
that feeling.
-
If I'd a went to a party and instead of
-
an altar, if I went to the playground instead of
-
God's house, if I'd have done what I wanted to
-
do instead of what God wanting me to do, I'd
-
be lost to Nata or in the devil's hell. I'm
-
telling you the reason why people or getting something you're
-
not getting up, it's because they.
-
Get to while they're getting thats good. I said, they
-
get to rale. They're getting thats good. It's true. The
-
milk and honey.
-
Sweet and just as precious when they had to walk away,
-
and God said, you didn't do it when I told
-
you to do it. And now we're at our golden
-
text numbers chapter number fourteen and verses number forty three
-
forty two. And they rose up early in the morning,
-
and they got them up into the top of the mountain, saying, lo,
-
we be here. Now I want to add this, Yeah,
-
you're here, but it's too late. It's too late. That
-
to Jesus calls the church and you pull on them
-
glass doors back there. I tell you this, Jeremiah Hound
-
and Justin roe Cap had unlocked him. You're gonna find
-
that out. Hey, come on now, there ain't gonna be
-
no annoying preachers in here preaching. That's not gonna be
-
any annoyed youth group singing. There ain't gonna be no
-
annoyed choir singing. Ain't gonna be no beautiful little children
-
singing the sweet songs of Zion. But you can get
-
up early, and you can walk up to the top
-
of the mountain and saying, lo, we be here. We're
-
ready to go up and to the place which the
-
Lord have promised.
-
And you know what's just the wood and they get religious.
-
It's a false humility, there's a false repentance.
-
But of Jesse.
-
They even say, for we have sin, For we have sin.
-
It's a little too late now, it's a little too late.
-
Now you know what it is. They are apologizing because
-
now they want it to Now they realize they can't
-
have it.
-
Now they realize God is saying no. But now they're
-
saying yes.
-
When God said yes, sir, they said no when God
-
said no.
-
Now they're saying yes.
-
And I'm telling you the reason why you ain't got
-
it When God says, go.
-
On, you don't go up. Now is the.
-
Time be all Today, Here is the day of salvation.
-
God doesn't have to deal with your soul for whats.
-
God does not have to deal with your soul.
-
But whats.
-
And Moses he saw through the fault humility, he saw
-
through the false repentance. And in verse number forty one,
-
he said, wherefore now do you transgress the commandment of
-
the Lord. And he said, but it shall not prosper,
-
It shall not prosper. Go ahead and go in there
-
now with a mind of work. Go ahead and go
-
in there now with a wheel to work. Go ahead
-
and go in there now with your rose sharp. Go
-
ahead and go in there now with a double edged
-
sword so sharp it cut a limb off. But it
-
will not prosper. And Moses said, you feel like going up.
-
And now Moses is saying go not up, for the
-
Lord is not among you.
-
That you be not spitting before your enemies.
-
Moses is saying, if you go up, you will be annihilated, obliterated,
-
and destroyed.
-
And you know what the Bible said. They went ahead
-
and went up, and the Bible.
-
Said, the malacots and the cana knots smote them before God. God,
-
watch them lose their life because they still don't want
-
to do it with God said to do it. It's
-
like the little child whose mother says, put that dirty
-
plate in the trash can, and that little child would
-
rather play with the baby doll or push a little
-
plastic toy truck, testing and trying Mama, being rebellious and
-
being stubborn. I'll have revival when I want I'll throw
-
that plate away when I want to. And then Mama
-
goes to the room and she gets a switch or
-
something in order to discipline that child. And now that
-
child decides it's going to go throw that plate away.
-
Now you're cardal at that moment, right and you know
-
what you say, It's too late, honey, It's too late.
-
Do you get the gravity of what I'm preaching right here? Hey?
-
You know why I drove for two hours each way
-
for six years because I knew God saying, I want
-
to put a hole in his church he in La Belle, Florida.
-
I want to build a holiness church in La Belle, Florida.
-
I want to be the watchman of that holiness church
-
in Le bel Florida. Do you know if I had
-
to wait it until now, twenty years later to do
-
what God told me to do, all of these people
-
would have went to hell that are present here the
-
night of those that have died and went on to glory.
-
When God tells you to do something now, you better
-
do it.
-
If God tells you to stand up here in church
-
and to lift up your boss like a trumpet. If
-
God says, clap your heads, all you people shouting a god.
-
With a boss of try it. You otta do it.
-
But God is showing us here tonight.
-
There's an ugly spirit of rebellion and stubborness present.
-
You.
-
Boss Man says, I don't want you to be gone
-
nine days. I really need you to be gone six days.
-
You know what, You push it and you push it,
-
and you push it and you push it, and then
-
you weren't there when the boss man needed you. And
-
so no longer does he depend on you. No longer
-
does he trust you, No longer can he rely on you.
-
When the company is in a pitch.
-
Kind of like a conversation, brother Wooden, I had the
-
other day when something didn't go somebody's way. Immediately their
-
attitude deteriorated and their work ethic.
-
Felder pieces, you know why, because.
-
They wouldn't own up to their own mistakes and own
-
up to their own actions and realize there are eternal scars.
-
There are eternal scars for our actions and our doings
-
in this life. And we cannot fault the employer for insurability.
-
We cannot fought our employer for what we've done to
-
our employer.
-
He can't fault God for not feeling you when he
-
called on you.
-
For three much straight, when he poured for you for
-
three months straight.
-
If you die, go to hell, oh be because God
-
did not.
-
These silly Israelites.
-
They decided against going and doing as the Lord had instructed.
-
The silly Israelites decided against going and doing as the
-
Lord instructed. And at a later date and time, when
-
the Lord told him to enter, he said, you know what,
-
go in. They said, we will not go, and now
-
the Lord said, don't go, and they decided to go
-
against the Lord's instructions, and they desired to enter. The
-
simple truth concerning this matter is they want to do
-
things whole way. You want to receive the Holy Ghost
-
the way you want to receed leave him. Oh, come
-
on your hand in God the playbook. You're handing God
-
the plan book. We're telling God how it's going to
-
be and overlooking his instructions. I know of some people
-
who were late to their very own mother's funeral. And
-
they were late because they had never heard that sermon
-
by your pastor the peril of procrastination. They were late
-
because they hain't heard that sermon by your pastor dangerously distracted.
-
They were late because they were dangerously delayed. There was
-
people talking, there were people consoling, there were people visiting,
-
They were reminiscing, they were having a good time with
-
friends and family. And they let that clock tick on
-
and tick on and get closer to the time of
-
their dear mother's funeral. And they had it estimated that
-
in seven and a half minutes we can get to
-
the funeral home.
-
You guessed it right.
-
Ten minutes till the time of the funeral, they decided
-
to run out the door, and then you know how
-
it goes. Somebody's forgot their phone, somebody's forgot their pocket book,
-
and that ten minutes got down to eight and a half.
-
It's okay, we got another minute. It's okay, We've got
-
a minute's cushion. It's okay, and you know what, Brother Nathaniel.
-
But when they got on the State highway, there was
-
no time to you turn, there was no time for
-
a detour, there was no time for further delay.
-
They got out and realized there had been a horrible.
-
Accident in that very baund traffic that they were in,
-
and brother Caleb, they set there for thirty five minutes,
-
tapping the steering wheel, impatiently beeping their horn, getting either
-
car and walking up and talking to emergency response technicians
-
and saying, can't you clear the way? Cat through? Can't
-
you make a way for me? There seemed to be
-
no way and better Jessee, they said, I'm sorry. It
-
didn't matter where they were wanting to go or how
-
bad they needed to be there. They got there, you know,
-
about thirty five forty minutes late. And it is true
-
in some things it is better late.
-
Than never.
-
And you know what, it is better late than never
-
for a groom that has got stuck in trapping to
-
go ahead and go to his own wedding, and to
-
let him start late. His bride would appreciate it being said,
-
better late than never. And every pastor will tell you, yes, indeed,
-
it's probably better late than never. Not good, not exactly
-
what we need to do right. But I'll tell you
-
in the things of God, if you're too late, it
-
is nefer.
-
If you're too late, it is never.
-
And I'm telling you it will never be said concerning
-
the purpose will of God. Better late than never. Ain't
-
it better late than missing it altogether? No, the deadline
-
is passed, the harvest is passed.
-
The harvest is passed.
-
It could be said that at a time the harvest
-
was plentiful, had a time for laborers are few, But
-
now it's too late for laborers. It's too late to
-
try to earn a paycheck. It's too late to try
-
to harvest the fruit. It's too late. The harvest is passed.
-
They should be right here and right now, sister Wood,
-
and beaten a fire out of this altar. I believe,
-
spiritually speaking, I'm holding the last nil to be driven
-
in your coughing tonight. And I believe this sermon and
-
the finality of this sermon to be your final message.
-
You could talk to Esau sister wooting. Because he pushed
-
it off the Bible said, he wept bitterly, he cried,
-
He soaught it with many tears, Judas, why.
-
Couldn't you be saved? Why couldn't you be saved?
-
Because he crossed the point where he knew it wouldn't
-
do a bit of good.
-
We've all preached it.
-
We've all said if he had turned on his heels
-
and went to Jesus and knelt down and prayed, Jesus
-
would have forgave him. But now I'm starting to realize
-
that Judas knew.
-
I thought. I don't know about how Judas knew. Judas
-
felt it, Judas knew. It's too late for me.
-
I'm telling you, I do feel a draw and other
-
spirit of God tonight. I do feel an auction and
-
other spirit. I do feel a call to God tonight.
-
It's not too late. But in the next thirty minutes
-
it could be too late to get started praying. In
-
the next thirty minutes, it could be too late.
-
To call on the name of the Lord.
-
In the next thirty minutes, it could be too late
-
to receive the promise.
-
These people stated they had sinned.
-
They acknowledged they had missed up and missed their God
-
giving gold an opportunity. And they even got up early
-
and appeared to be bite, not to be to do
-
what God wanted them to do. But their disobedience and
-
rebellion had closed the door since the route, and they
-
appeared to wake up, but they woke up too late.
-
Even though they woke up early.
-
They appeared to understand their need, but they understood their
-
need too late, and they missed out. They passed the deadline.
-
They passed the deadline. Their eyes were on the materialistic
-
things of Canaan. Their eyes were a pine sweet victory.
-
Their ears wanted to hear sweet victory sound. Their mouth
-
wanted to taste the sweet milk and honey, but their
-
hearts were not right in the sight of God. Quickly
-
and simply stated.
-
No one.
-
No one wanted God to curse them. They all wanted
-
God to bless them. And I want to end with
-
this as these altars are filling up. King Saul, you
-
waited too late, didn't you. You waited too late to
-
really pray through. You waited too late to have godless sorrow.
-
You waited too late to repent. King Saul was begging
-
Samuel to pray with him, begging Samuel to go with him.
-
And Samuel said, God has rejected you from being king
-
over Israel. And he tried to force Samuel to pray,
-
and the Bible said and us. Samuel turned about to
-
go away. He laid hold upon his skirt of the mantle,
-
and he rented. Saul tore Samuel's mantle, and Samuel said,
-
unto him, the Lord hath rent the kingdom of Israel
-
from this day, and hath given it to a neighbor
-
of eye. And that is better than now. Somebody that
-
will do when God says due. Somebody that will go
-
when says God says God. Somebody that will pray when
-
God said pray. Mama, if you wait until ten o'clock
-
to pray when God told you at three am to pray,
-
don't be surprised when tragedy strikes at seven. The Lord
-
wasn't looking for someone who wanted to do things their
-
way whenever they wanted to do him saw like to
-
Israelites appeared to be broken, but it was too late.
-
While Samuel weft and cried and told Saul, sacrifice, sacrifice
-
isn't enough. The fat of rams isn't enough. You should
-
have obeyed, You should have hearkened. Moses told the Israelites,
-
don't go up now. God isn't in it. You advancing
-
upon the enemies, now do time. God's not in it.
-
It's a death sentence. It's not a promise. Samuel told Saul.
-
The kingdom is no longer yours, the anointing is no
-
longer yours. The opportunity is no longer yours. It belongs
-
to somebody else.
-
Now Church.
-
Without his presence, there is no promise victory without his presence,
-
there is no foolness of life.
-
Moses knew this all too well.
-
Moses said, if you do not go with me, God,
-
don't earing me up pence. If your prayers that says
-
not with me, don't send.
-
Me up pence. Amen.
-
Daven knew the importance of having the spirit of God
-
with him, and Second Samuel, chapter number five and verse
-
number twenty four, the Bible said, and let it be
-
when now here's the sound of a going in the
-
tops of the mulberry trees. That then thou shalt bestir
-
thyself right then, while the spirit of God is running.
-
Through the tops of the mulberry trees.
-
Bestir thyself right then, right now, in this moment, right
-
here and there, and you can smite the Philistines. It
-
doesn't matter if we feel outsized, out numbered, or overwhelmed.
-
We don't have to be overcome.
-
We can be victorious when God is in it, and
-
right now, in this moment, in this altar call, in
-
this service, God is in it again. I want to
-
give you the words of our new convert that's been
-
saved less than six months.
-
She said.
-
Last night, Pastor, I had a dream, and in that
-
dream I heard God say, we better get the Holy
-
Ghost while we can
