my gosh what a great morning huh anybody else feel that

fire I was in the middle of it

was just thinking of the Bill Johnson's quote that says

he comes where he's wanted

and he stays where he's honored

and uh felt like we

we did that this morning we're hungry

and when he showed up we just made room for him

and uh man

you know in those moments

um

I just want to encourage us

never underestimate the power of an encounter

cause where he shows up

like those are the

can be the life transforming moments

that literally change the trajectory of our life

so when these we we

we get those moments I wanna just encourage us

like we embrace them

get hungry you can see someone going

something get their hands on you like

I want I want some of that

you know so we must make room for that

and never underestimate what the Lord can do

in the middle of it so okay

well we are in our ghost series

you guys been going

I'm trying out a new little thing here

we'll see how it goes

so this is how many were at the prophetic conference

you guys you remember how Chris we

he kept trying to ask we had books

we're like finding all kinds of things

so we got this little handy dandy gadget

we'll see how it goes okay

so a little short recap is um

the Lord uh what we've been talking about

we started a couple weeks ago

is he's restoring the

the dream that he had from the beginning in the garden

that this was what he did through Jesus

it was more than just getting us into heaven

it was getting heaven into us

amen and he's restoring the dream that he had

that in his wild imagination and creation

he created earth the heavens

everything we see he created mankind

he created us to steward it

to inhabit it to be fruitful and multiply

to expand the garden of Eden throughout the globe

not just in multiplying in kids and families

but also multiplying everything that the garden had

throughout the rest of the globe

and so

and then we saw on Matthew 6 where he restored that in

into prayer right when he says hey

if you pray a prayer pray this prayer

that on when that god his kingdom would come

his will would be done on the earth

just as it is in heaven and so

we talked about

how the cross really reconciled the original plan

which was that we would walk and talk

in the cool of the day with him

that we become one with him

and that we would be doing the original mandate

so that's just a real quick recap

um and then let's see what else

I LED this off on Easter Sunday

I told you I was gonna start in Genesis

and end in revelation

and I didn't get to my revelation verse

so I'm gonna get to it today

uh Revelation 11:15

when they open the Seventh Seal

it says now

the kingdom of this world

has now become the kingdom of our god

and he shall reign forever and ever

the the

the end of the story is that the kingdom of this world

would become the kingdom of our god

and we talked about how when Jesus what

rose in the morning on Easter Sunday

but in the evening he said

now go therefore

make disciples of all nations and teach them in

in the ways that I have taught you

that word disciple means learner

that's the Greek word I'm going real quick recap

you guys good with this

so that word disciple means learner

make learners of all nations

what are nations

nations are people groups

make learners of all people groups

well how do we make them to learn

how do we get them to learn

how do we make them want to learn

I'm glad you asked we're gonna talk about that today

I wanna talk about how you have a unique

individual expression

that is meant to be how god puts himself on display

and is part of the assignment

and you walking out what it looks like to be a

restoring the earth

it's a big big assignment

it's a big call

just a little bit

all creation is waiting it says in Romans 8

by the way

for us to what

my version is figure it out

they're waiting for us to figure it out

waiting for the sons of god to be revealed

so Ephesians 3:10

it's gonna be a little bit meaty today

I'm gonna start with the 8

then Paul's talking to the Ephesians

and he's making some some pretty big statements here

Paul says hey

to me the very least of all the saints

this Grace was given to preach to the Gentiles

the unfathomable riches of Christ

and to bring to light

what is the administration of the mystery

which for ages has been hidden in god

who created all things

so that the manifold wisdom of god

might now be made known through the church

to the rulers and authorities in heavenly places

you got it all we got that yeah

there's a lot said there it's pretty meaty

what's he saying to me

the very least of all the saints

this Grace was given to preach to the Gentiles

the unfathomable riches of Christ

and to bring to light

what is the administration of the mystery

which for ages has been hidden in god

what's the mystery

Christ in you the hope of glory

he says this in another passage

that the mystery is Christ in you

the hope of glory

if we understand where he's speaking from

the idea that you could get saved

and Christ could come and live in your heart

was a new concept it didn't exist

this is the whole point of what Jesus did

in reconciling mankind back to himself

and making it possible to there

there be therefore

no separation by the veil

if you will that there's no separation

but we're now joined back with him

the idea that Christ in us is the hope of glory

the idea of Christ in us is possible

is brand new and now

Paul's mission is to bring to light

what is the administration

which is the governing or the distribution of it of to

of this mystery to who

the Gentiles

that's brand new they were never

they were excluded up into this point

so it's brand new that they have the option to not only

uh uh

be included but also included in this new concept

which is Christ can live in you

yeah that's right so

Paul says this

to bring to light what is the administration the

the distribution or the governing of the mystery

which for ages has been hidden in god

who created all things why

why is he why is this the thing

why is the administration

of the distribution of the Christ in you

the hope of glory being available to the

the Gentiles for what

what's this unto so that we can go to heaven

I'm giving you trick questions

we talked about this on the first session right

what what is it

so that uh uh

we can wait until he comes back no

so that we can no

there's more so what's he say here

so that the manifold wisdom of god

might now be made known through the church

what is the manifold wisdom of god

manifold another word is minifold

multicolored multi

varied wisdom of god the different facets

let's use the word facet to get like

if you look at a diamond

and it has different facets on it

it's many varied

it's many like different

the multifaceted wisdom of god

the different facets of who he is and how he is

where is it being made known

through the church who's the church

we are so it's saying that Christ in you

the hope of glory is so that his multifaceted wisdom

would be revealed through you

that's right

that's right this is what it's

unto his multifaceted like

the very different uh uh

aspects and wisdom of god

would be made known through the church

imagine every person in the room a facet

we go back to the diamond

and you got different facets on the diamond

every room every person in this room

a facet

revealing a unique expression of the wisdom of god

now now trip on this

so that the manifold wisdom of god may now be named

made known through the church

to who to the rulers and the authorities

in the heavenly places

to the spirit realm

to the principalities

to the things that are currently at this time

were in control

until Jesus took the keys of hell and death back

and authority back

this is what he said at the end of the day right

all authority has been given to me

now go therefore

so at this time

principalities carry power and authority

and then how do they get the power and authority

how does the enemy get it

it go back to Adam and Eve

he gives you a lie and we buy into it

and we forfeit our authority

and we give it over

and we're the ones who actually have the authority

and now we've given it to the enemy

who now is able to reign

so how do we not do that

don't buy in the lies that's right amen

we need a renewed mind

we need to take on the mind of Christ

be transformed by the renewing of your mind

so that you may prove

what the good and perfect will of god is

so how does this all tie in

well because the manifold wisdom of god

is meant to be made known

through you to the rulers

rulers in heavenly places

now check this out

this was in accordance with the eternal purpose

which he carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord

did you guys hear that

I don't know I get tripped out on this

I think I think this is exciting

this was in accordance with the eternal purpose

that he sent Jesus to the cross

okay I don't know

maybe I gotta go over here

one of the reasons he let me say it this way

one of the reasons he sent Jesus to the cross

according to the eternal purpose

is so that his glory would be made known through you

so that his wisdom would be made known through you

to the principalities of the heavenly places

which is also what was happening in the garden

because they it was

the enemy was in the earth during the garden and

and god says I'm gonna make you in my image

now go therefore create

put on display my nature cause you're just like me

yeah that's right

that's right

hmm that's right

I don't know guys

this this look I

I said this on Easter Sunday

we stop at the cross

the cross is the doorway to life

and life should look like something more than just

waiting for him to get back

that's right that's right

the enemy comes to steal kill

and destroy Jesus says

but I have come to give life

and life abundantly

and abundant life isn't just making money

that's right

abundant life is actually living a life in Christ

yes victorious

yes that's right

and revealing a a nature and a facet of his wisdom

and who he is in your own life that's right

that's right this is why in in

in Paul says this in Thessalonians

he says they who compare themselves with themselves

are without understanding

because comparison kills yeah

no longer do I reveal the the

the the unique expression when I'm comparing

whether I look mine looks like Ty's

or mine looks like Steve's

or mine looks like Andy and Daniel's

like when I start comparing

I start come on

dad disappearing

come on dad

and it's not only me

it's actually the wisdom of the Lord

that's meant to inhabit the earth

gets shut down that's why Paul says

they who compare themselves with themselves

are without understanding they

they're missing it they're missing the point

you actually can't be compared

that's right

I didn't mean to go into this comparison thing

it literally just came out

but it feels like it feel like it needed to

so your unique

I don't want to spend too much time here

your unique gifts talents

skills anointing etcetera

is meant to release the glory of the Lord in the earth

in Proverbs 22 uh

29 it says

do you see a man who excels in his work

he will stand before kings

he will not stand before unknown men

uh let's go to exodus

give you

I'm trying to go through a little bit of a case study

show you some case studies today of

like what it looks like

for the fruit of restoration to show up

that's good

we're gonna go a little quick

you guys good

so if you uh uh Exodus 31

so the lord's talking to Moses

and this is when he's giving him

the design of the tabernacle

and he gives him a design of a tabernacle

you guys remember this conversation

this tabernacle was a picture of something

that was in a different realm

and the Lord said

I want you to create this on the earth

and I'm gonna give you the design and the blueprint

you know how we like

pray for Lord

give us blueprints and designs and upgrade

this is this happening

this is an example where this happens

he literally gets a blueprint of a structure

that is from a different world

and he begins to build it

and it actually comes manifest on the earth

it comes a reality in the natural

now when he does this

it's needed because it's from a different realm

it's actually needing something the other

other worldly if you will

for it to get carried out

come on so he says to

to Moses the Lord says to Moses

see I have called by name Bezalel

the son of Uri the son of her

of the tribe of Judah

I have filled him with the spirit of god

in wisdom in understanding

in knowledge and in all kinds of craftsmanship

okay

this is the first time it's mentioned

where we hear someone being filled with

the Holy Spirit this is before Christ

after Christ it's available

we're all having indwelling

he makes his home in us we become the temple

before that that wasn't

and there was times

where the spirit would come on people

but not in them and here's an example where he says I

I'm I'm putting my spirit in Bezalel

and I'm filling him with not just the spirit

but in wisdom and understanding and knowledge

and all kinds of craftsmanship

this sound familiar

you remember we started in Ephesians

and it said that we are to reveal the wisdom

multifaceted wisdom of god

the expression of god this is him doing that

he fills him with the spirit

so that he can reveal his wisdom

in understanding and knowledge

and in all kinds of craftsmanship

what for

to get people saved

no

is it to lay hands on the sick

is it so that he can prophesy

really good no

are you ready

to make artistic designs for work in gold and silver

come on and in bronze

and in the cutting of stones for the settings

and in carving of wood

that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship

and behold I myself have appointed him oleyab

the son of ahishamak the tribe of Dan

and in the hearts of all who are skillful

I have put skill that they may make all that

I have commanded you look

I'm giving you it's like this

if I was to paraphrase it

lord's like hey

I'm giving you a design

you're not gonna be able to do it

but I'm gonna get I'm gonna put my Holy Spirit in you

so that you actually have the wisdom and the insight

that's needed

to take the resources that are around you and

and manipulate them in such a way to create this

this idea that I'm trying to give you to make

you're gonna need this to do that

this is pretty significant

and I think we overlook it

cause we stop at the cross

instead of walking through and realizing what he did

what he you know

what he paid for us to have

it wasn't so that we could camp

it was so that we can move

it was so that we actually could

reveal his nature

cause he wants to give you ideas and things to do

and you need the Holy Spirit to do it

and you have the Holy Spirit

so now what if you tapped into the Holy Spirit

to gain the wisdom and insight from another world

to create and build

and do something that was otherworldly

ordinary people doing extraordinary things

this is the assignment of the body of Christ

we can't do it on our own

we actually need him if we can do the things

that we have found ourselves doing

it's likely not his assignment

because you're meant to create something otherworldly

yeah okay

getting ahead of myself it's good

it's good

all right

we won't I

I won't get into reading this

but let's talk about Solomon

um Solomon what

what he had one

one uh

uh uh

one guess he had one wish

one wish what did he wish

what did he get wisdom

you seeing a trend here

he asked for wisdom

what did wisdom end up looking like in his life

it showed up in how he built the temple

how he organized and structured all the people

to do the jobs that are inside the temple

it's similar to the tabernacle

where it's it's wisdom from another world

now he's doing something that hasn't been seen before

and we it's gonna hard for us to see it

because the things that he talks about

are things that we know

come on Dan

but at that time they didn't

that's right

that's right so he builds a temple

he does some amazing stuff

and I'm just giving you the really

Reader's Digest version of the story

and the Queen of Sheba hears about it

what's the queen of Sheba

what's the what is she a queen of

nobody knows it Lebanon

I'm pretty sure it's Lebanon

so she's queen of another nation

let's just say that because this is where it's going

a nation has heard about what

what Solomon has done

and so a nation the queen

comes to Solomon say hey

I heard about what you have done

I need to see it with my own eyes

do you know what she was fascinated by

the stairs

she's fascinated by the stairs

the waiters

the silverware

come on look

we see this all the time

could you imagine if it never existed

and all of a sudden

through the wisdom from another world

he creates and and is in in uh

in his ingenuity creates and and

and and does something that's never existed before

and someone from another nation comes and says

what in the world is this

what have you done with the Forks

come on John

what ends up being her response

she says wow

I heard about this

but it's nothing like what it is in person

and now that I've seen it in person

I want to fund it

I wanna cut give you

send you cedars from Lebanon

I wanna send you resources

how if I can just funnel money to you

with this kind of wisdom what else can you create

okay when it says

make disciples of all nations

what does the word disciple mean

learner

what happened to Shiba

she wanted to know come on

she became a learner

is it because she was taught a great message

is it cause she was ministered to

on her way to the grocery store

no it's because she saw something she didn't have

she saw something she didn't have

and she said

I want to know more what's happening over here

and if I fund you if I fund it can I learn more

Solomon made disciple of a nation

by making silverware

stairs come on

the waiters and how they were dressed

come on dad

that's true and how they functioned

that's true I hope you guys are picking this up

she ends up funding it she funds

120 talents of gold

and I give you the uh uh uh uh

get to the end really quickly

if it's roughly $56,000 per kilogram

um this equates to being about $1.8 million

now over the course of a year

Solomon collected 666 talents

because people kept giving him money

what else can you do with this

he ends up collecting $1.2 billion in today's numbers

because he made silverware

I think we make it too complicated amen

so the fruit of wisdom being released and and

and and his facet of the wisdom of god being expressed

and this is before the Holy Spirit

so we have access to something

that Solomon never had access to

that's right before the Holy Spirit

he expressed the wisdom of god in such a way that

literally nations came to say what have you done

what does this look like for us

what is your unique expression

what is the facet of the glory of god

that you're meant to reveal

what would happen if you as we talked last week

if you showed up in your environment

and was revealing the nature of the father

and putting him on display

come on

what if you lived your life in such a way

that people came to you and said hey

I wanna talk to you about how you talk to your wife

how I want

I want more I wanna know more

hey how you treated your kids there

uh I

can you can you teach me

so some of you guys know uh

my wife she does exist

I know you know

this is the common question all the time

students at school ministry was like

but is she real

she worked she uh

she went back into the workforce

about a year and a half ago and uh

after being a stay at home mom for 20 years

and so she shows up in the

in the uh uh

food industry and so she shows up look

week one look

this is if I I

I'd

I would champion her and shout her from the rooftops of

if we're looking at what it looks like

to be someone that's owning your season

and showing up where you're at

and watching the world be impacted

she does it has done it her whole life

so she shows up in this place

week one I kid you not she looks pretty young

people are shocked when they find out

she's got adult kids

do you have adult kids

how in the world do you have adult kids

she's like yep

I have adult kids yep

and then they go

you know I've got a 15 year old and man

I don't know what I'm doing with running

with raising teenagers what how did you handle this

how did you handle that

week one just showed up she just showed up

hey you've been married 25 years

yeah to the same man

literal question that gets asked look

it's dark out in the world

I don't know if you know this

the same man yeah

but but but

but

what can you tell me about staying together for so long

what does the fruit of restoration look like

it's it looks like you're just showing up

and being on display

with whatever the Lord has put inside of you

and whatever victories and history you've created

you get to give away freely what you've received

that's right that's right

it looks like just showing up in an environment

and watching the world become learners

because they're hungry for something they haven't seen

how is it that you're so hopeful

how is it that you're so joyful

she shows up and she actually doesn't

she has a work ethic that's to the nines

and she shows up and all of a sudden

the standards of the whole environment get raised

and she just starts saying no

this is how we do it no

we clean up after ourselves

no we do the best job

we're a team this is who we are

no

we're not gonna make a bad guy out of the night shift

we're gonna do the work and have a conversation

if you wanna have a conversation

you should ask some questions

she gets reproduce everything we know

and the environment has actually rose to the point

that the higher UPS are saying hey

the culture has changed in this location

this is true story

what can we do

to get the other locations to look like that too

there it is come on

literal word can we send her

to see if that culture can get over here

does this sound familiar

literally the definition of being apostolic

being sent to reproduce culture from where you're from

so um

my story I remember um

being in business years ago

and I got a phone call one day

and the lady goes hey um

I'd love to ask you if you'd want to um

join the board of our chamber of Commerce and

and I was like I don't know

late 20s and I'm like

well sure

this would be a good business move

so I'm not putting two and two together

that it's an invitation from the Lord

but we are learning about cultural transformation

and city impact at the same time

so I show you ready

first first board meeting is a all day

strategic planning session

to dream over the 20 year vision of our city

that's the first meeting

and they said here's your assignment

here's your poster board dream about what you wanted to

see what you wanted to look like in 20 years

and write it down

and I'm like are you kidding me

I didn't I didn't try to do this

I just said yes to something

and next thing you know

I'm a part of establishing a 20 year vision

and I get to say Lord

what do you want it to look like

and how are you gonna write stuff down

and to this day it's still in a 20 year vision

that's being carried out

and implemented through other boards

as they've come along

you just get to give away what you have

you get to show up it's

what's the fruit of restoration is

is wholeness is health

is joy it's hope

it's raising the standard in the bar

because that's how it looks there

it's good

okay

last story

you guys familiar with chip and Joanna Gaines

the Magnolia story who's read the book

anybody

right we're a little bit

probably 10 years late now

but that's okay uh

so the the the

the story

their story is absolutely profound

we when we traveled out here

when we moved out here we made a detour

stop by Waco and said we need to visit and check out

you know Magnolia Farms and do the things and

and so which is almost 10 years ago

so it was trending then I know it's not as trending now

but so we we

we pop in and we do this little tour on a

on a trolley and in the tour on the trolley

the guy is telling us about

how this street used to be devastated

and it was it was all empty

and now it's starting to

the business is starting to pop up

I was like really

I'm like how come

he goes

it's because of all the tourists that have been coming

like what

like how many tourists

he says 30,000 a week

I said 3,000 a week

you mean

he says no

30,000 a week people are coming in

hmm yeah

they're calling this the Silos District now

which the silos is part of

what Magnolia is is like

a pioneer

they're calling it the Silos District certain

I'm like so then I started

like doing some study and backtracking okay

this sounds like the kingdom

this sounds like the kingdom happening

I know they're believers to what degree

come to find out oh

Chris has actually been at their church

really to what degree is this kingdom like happening

I keep doing some research and digging and

you know when it started

Joe Joe

Chip and Joe right

Joe had a dream of Manhattan design meets Waco

chip says hey

you should go for it in a 2003

Joanna opens a store

and chip has a construction background

flipping homes and businesses

he says you should do this

she had a dream

she had an idea yeah yeah

let's open a store let's go

for it let's take the risk

several years later

she actually closes the store to focus on family during

in which time they started focusing on Magnolia Homes

which is where they were

just literally had the phrase in the statement

we're making Waco beautiful

one home at a time

and chip starts getting the the uh uh uh

nickname the mayor of Third Street

because he's just going down the street

taking one renovating it

selling it one

renovating it selling it

and just making it beautiful

one home at a time he has a skill

she has a dream he's got a skill

he's got a dream about the city let's make it better

2,014 they opened the uh Magnolia store

Favor uh

and then 2013 drew the attention of HGTV

Fixer Upper

and then they reopened the store

immediate national attention

growing exponentially year by year

media national social media

economical influence the fruit

multiple businesses tourism explosion

the nation comes to the city

surrounding economic explosion

other businesses in in

and they're attached to them

are also getting favor

and they're beginning to succeed

their net worth exploded to multi millions

over the course of five years

I'm getting I'm going very quick over this

I like to take a lot of time to talk through this

because this is someone who had an idea

as someone else who had a skill set

and they revealed a unique facet of the glory of god

that hadn't happened before

and it trended and and became a global phenomenon

and the all the world has come there

and I think the biggest impact

and biggest thing for me to see

is the fact that when you hear about Waco

what do you think of

chip and Joanna games

and it wasn't long ago

when you thought of something else

that's restoration

because someone had an idea

because someone had a dream

and the Lord began to reveal a restorative nature

and restoring a city even what it's named for

known for and what it's traveled to for

that's good dad

what could he do through your dream

what if you were free to dream

what if you were free to dream

in a way that didn't look like anybody else's

in fact I might

I think it's kind of the point

yeah it is

it is the point you'd have to be okay with the fact

that it didn't look like anybody else's

yeah

it might not make as much money as somebody else's

it might not be quote unquote successful

to the American dream if you pursued it

but I wanna challenge you

to redefine your definition of success

success isn't your net worth or how much money you make

or what how many

many properties you're own

success is actually walking out the call of god

on your life amen

you walk out what the Lord has called you to do amen

those guys in the Bible that we read about

they didn't have a bank account

yeah come on

and that is success they're in the hall of faith

because they said yes to the Lord

and if you're yes to the Lord

I would I would

I would venture to bet your yes to the Lord

would reveal a side and a facet of who he is

in his wisdom that the world's never seen

that actually might cause people to be drawn

because it's his nature on display

it's through your creativity

it's through your ingenuity

it's through your unique expression

well then I'm not creative

look you're made in the image of the creator

you cannot be creative

I don't care how left brain you are

you still have a nature of revealing a side

and a facet of who he is that nobody else

not the person next to you or on the other side of you

has the ability to do so

nobody has the ability to reveal the facet

that you're meant to

and it isn't so that you get rich or wealthy

it's actually so that he gets what he paid for

cause he paid to restore it all back to him

so let's not hold anything back

when it comes to the assignments that are on your life

the calls that are on your life

even if it doesn't look like standing on a stage

it might look like planning a board

because you make the best and I emphasize

the wisdom of god is revealed through excellence

it is the best

bookshelves that are known in all of the southeast

there's something about them

I know it sounds wild

but it's literally what we just read

it's how he showed up with Solomon

it's how he showed up with

with uh Moses

and I think our short sightedness

doesn't allow us to actually step into this

wow

good word Dan

to really explore what could it look like if it were me

yeah would you stand

it's good Dan

so Lord

we just I just pray for our house

that we would even just be

step into a place where there's a door opening

an open heaven and there's a

permission to explore

the creative nature of your heart

rooms in in this third heaven space

that we didn't even know existed

I don't I think I said this last week there's there's

there's there's a

if you imagine a hall and

and there's rooms and over each room there's a name

and your name's on one of those rooms

and when you open the door

it doesn't come to a four wall box

it opens to a whole another expanse

and there's an invitation that through the cross

you can explore what it looks like

to reveal the wisdom the infinite wisdom

the creative nature

the expression of who he is in the earth

come on dad

that's right so Lord

I just pray that

we just receive and experience an impartation of just

yes wonder

yes Lord

wonder what would it look like for me

and hunger and discovery and exploration

what would it look like for us as a house

what if this room

was ignited

to go after a unique expression in the earth

regardless of what people thought

what people did regardless of how much money it made

it might just be your hobby

but Lord

I just remove any lids in the room

even prophetically

we just rip a lid off the house and say

you have permission to dream and pursue

and explore the heart of the father the dreams he has

and so Lord

we just bless that over this house

and we bless what you're doing

yes we thank you

in Jesus name amen amen
