well I got a lot to say I know it's a surprise

but I have a lot of time to say it so that's even better

news

um

good well I wanted to just uh

first start off with just giving you an update on Lauren's

sabbatical as you all know Lauren

has been on sabbatical since January

and uh and she's she anticipated going through April

um but at this time uh or this time was to focus

on her body and recovery as she navigated

her I had to write

this so I made sure I got all the details

so you go ahead and roll with me

this time was to focus on her body in recovery as she navigated

her Ms symptoms

and while it's proving fruitful thank you Jesus

she's still not in a position to fully come back

just yet so she's extending her sabbatical

she'll likely be back in services more often

Sunday morning services more often

her and Brent are celebrating their anniversary

this weekend

and she wanted to say me to say

tell y'all she loves y'all misses y'all tons so

she'll be back around a little bit more often but um

we are just super grateful there is some

progress happening

in some of her symptoms and stuff so

keep contending autoimmune diseases die at the door

how many y'all heard

on our last testimony have we shared this testimony

we haven't shared it um we had

another autoimmune disease Lyme's

disease get healed from

literally standing at the front door

come on

thank you Jesus

whoa excited about this

come on

we uh

we made this declaration and um

and this is now the third one that we've seen healed uh

in two of them were doctors reports

we'll wait for the report on this one but

all symptoms completely went away in the moment

feeling the presence of god going through her

we'll get her share it at some point um but while while

while that's happening if if you don't mind

being vulnerable would you stand if you are

working through an autoimmune disease

there's a a whole slew of them so if that's you

please stand we want to pray for this God God heals

he heals today

he doesn't change and so we won't change the subject

we'll go after this and keep going after it we won't change the subject

so if they're standing and they're around you

um go to them put your hands on them

just begin to with the declarative word

begin to just declare healing

command their body to come into order

and we even just declare that right now we declare

autoimmune diseases die at the door in this house

we just command healing right now in Jesus name from

all autoimmune diseases that are that are taking place

we just command the body to come into order

we just release the presence of god through your body

yep we say be healed in Jesus name amen amen

come on autoimmune does not get to have any authority

we release the presence of god right now

Holy Spirit come

thank you Jesus

thank you Jesus

yeah just command their healing say be healed in Jesus

name

anybody experiencing anything

right now like you can feel anything happening

physically I know these are

uh a wild range of of of uh uh different diseases

and symptoms

and so they might be hard to test out but are you feeling

anything

wave

your wave your hand at me if you're feeling something

like could be power could be fire

okay a little bit here thank you Jesus

yeah so Lord we just

bless what you're doing in this house we will

continue to contend

for 100% healing with autoimmune diseases in our house

and we just say be healed in Jesus name amen amen

for those of the you that stood

thank you for being vulnerable and and just

receiving that and letting us pray for you

all right I got the I got very warm with the lights

now I was like am I gonna be able to rock this sweatshirt or not and it's definitely

getting warm hahaha

now that it's already cool in here anyway right

we can laugh at that right

if you're all wondering we have two units down

I don't know if we've ever had four units

running in like three years so uh

we've been it's just been a never ending cycle of

uh issues with our AC here so but

declare healing just extend your hands

toward the back patio

but I just have to remind myself we're not in a tent

so I know I'm like

it might be a little warm but we're not in a tent

we're not outside

um the go section of our pillar series

so technically ended last week but

I surprise surprise oh there thank you oh Anastasia

um I didn't get to all I had to say and so

I'm gonna we're gonna continue on basically

from what I was uh uh uh

didn't get to last week so we'll do that this week

just continuing on in

what I'm calling the assignment of restoration

uh and what it looks like we've talked about

god restoring the dream heaven on earth um

that his kingdom

would come his will would be done on earth as it is in heaven we talked about

god being uh

it god was in Christ reconciling the world to himself

and then gave us the ministry of reconciliation

we talked about first John 3:08 the god

1 John 3:8

the son of god appeared

for this purpose to destroy the works of the devil

and in the end of the story in Revelation 11:15

that the kingdom of this world has now

become the kingdom of our god

and he shall reign forever

yeah

for real I'm not gonna do that I'll let you do that

if I don't have a guitar I'm not hitting a note so

we talked about last week about bezaleel

and being filled with the Holy Spirit with the

for the purpose of craftsmanship was that wild

for anybody

for the purpose of like making carpets

he was filled with the Holy Spirit

I don't know about you but that's fascinating to me

we talked about Solomon being

visited by the Queen of Sheba

and I thought her name was Shiba

you all are thinking

her name was Shiba too remember I was like

where is she from she's literally the queen of Shiba

someone tells me later

it's Shiba Dan that's where she's from and I was like

I don't know my brain computed her name was Shiba so

she's she

her name is not Shiba she is the queen of Shiba

from another nation

she was amazed at the wisdom he had

and the things that he created

uh I'm we're gonna we're gonna read

let's just read that real quick 1st Corinthians

I'm sorry no it's not true first kings ten

it's a fascinating story if you guys I I I

I know you all went deep and

studied it since we talked about it

you can laugh about that that was a joke

the Queen of Sheba 1st kings

10 now when the Queen of Sheba

heard about the fame of Solomon

concerning the name of the Lord

she came to test him with difficult questions

she came to Jerusalem with a very large retinue

with camels carrying spices

and very much gold and precious stones

when she came to Solomon

she spoke with him about all that was in her heart

Solomon answered all the questions

nothing was hidden from

the king which he did not explain to her

when the queen of Sheba

perceived all the wisdom of Solomon

the house that he built

now look this is what she was shocked by

we talked about this last week

the house the his wisdom

the house he built the food of his table

the seating of his servants

the attendance

of his waiters their attire his cup bearers his

stairway by which he went up to the house of the Lord

there was no more spirit in her

that's another way of saying her breath was taken away

her breath was taken away by the stairway

I don't know you guys you guys are we awake today

you guys is this this fascinating yeah

she was shocked

and then she she said hey how blessed uh she says never

uh

let's see then she said to the king it was true report

which I heard in my own land

about your words and your wisdom

nevertheless I did not believe the reports

until I came and my eyes have seen it

behold the half was not even told of me

you exceed in wisdom and prosperity and in

uh prosperity the report which I heard

how blessed are your men how blessed are these servants

who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom

blessed be the Lord your god

who delighted in you to set

you on the throne of Israel

because the Lord loved Israel

oh my gosh what's happening here

forever therefore he made you king

to do justice and righteousness

so this this queen comes from another nation

is astounded by the wisdom of Solomon

and in what he has done and his not just wisdom in his

knowledge but wisdom in how he built and created

so shocked that she literally says

how blessed is your nation

because your god made you king over it

that's right come on Dan

come on Dan

now I hope you're going with me on the on the correlation

here

there's no reason why you or I can't do what he did

and more so

because he did it in an inferior covenant that's right

without the Holy Spirit that's right

and we have the Holy Spirit that's right

we are in a superior covenant

than the Old Testament because the Holy

Spirit he's made to dwell within us that's right

the kingdom of heaven is within us amen

what we have access to is far greater than what

Solomon had access to

simply because of the covenant we lit

we reside in that's right

anybody else excited about this yeah

could you imagine if someone said

how blessed is your family because you

the god that god your god gave you your children yeah

the your god gave your children you as a father

you as a mother

because of the wisdom and the stature that you

carry yourself in

could you imagine if this is what people said of us

that they were shocked by how we carried

ourselves and what we built and what we did

because it so reflected a world that was

preeminent that was

another realm which is what Solomon was doing

that it actually inspired them to say how blessed

are the people around you because god chose

you to be their leader

god chose you to be their father and Mother

God chose you to be

working in that environment that that company

gets blessed so much because you live there

could you imagine

what's the barrier

what's the hiccup

I wanna read to you a section out of heavy Rain

how many of you read this book Heavy Rain

come to school ministry we got really really set you up

come on you can laugh that's funny

Chris Wright says we are God's secret agents

disguised as doctors

housewives mechanics computer programmers

school teachers and business managers

we are part of a covert kingdom

we are powerful believers

concealed as everyday people

strategically assigned to serve society

while simultaneously destroying the works of the devil

our very lives are assigned in a wonder

not only do we have the message

but we also are the message

to know us is to love us we are the fruit of God's love the manifestation

of his person

it's time for the body of Christ to carry the kingdom

into the darkest places of society

there's a new god given ability

to see through the gloomy

murky and disgusting evil of people's situations

to discover the hidden treasures

in those who are the Rahab's of life

like Rahab of old who worked as a prostitute

but became the great

great great great grandmother of Jesus

precious souls who are entangled in the sin of life

and covered with the mire of shame and guilt

are just waiting to be recovered

what if we could be that

we talk about go being in society changing cities

Jesus is talking through a bunch of parables

he's talking about different ways that the kingdom is

and he says this one sentence which is like pregnant

because he just leaves it and goes on

but there's so much within it he says

he speaks

another parable to them and he says the kingdom of heaven is like leaven

which a woman took out and hid in three pecks of flour

until it was all leavened

and that's it and then he moves on

we're describing

the kingdom of heaven which feels like a big deal amen

like let me tell you what the kingdom is like

to a generation

has no access to the Holy Spirit at this time

so they don't have access to the kingdom

Christ isn't in them yet the hope of glory hasn't come

I think it's pretty pertinent information

for him to be sitting

with a group of people saying let me tell you what the kingdom of heaven is like

because they have no other way of accessing

it except for by this person talking to them yeah

and he says this statement and

only this statement and moves on

in terms of this parable

he says the kingdom of heaven is like leaven

which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour

until it was all leavened

come on dad

I don't know about you but that makes me like wonder

what what what what what is what's being said here

Galatians 5:19

says a little leaven leavens the whole lump

you know what leaven is it's a substance such as yeast

baking powder or sourdough starter

how many y'all are doing sourdough starters anybody

right we got some I know Blake's he's in it

sourdough

used to produce fermentation in dough or batter

causing it to rise and become light it acts as a

raising agent producing carbon dioxide gas bubbles

that expand the mixture great figuratively it refers

to an element that alters or transforms a whole

so what's happening

where's the kingdom of heaven

in us Luke 17 says the kingdom of heaven is within you

it's not

Jesus says repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand

what's that mean at hand

it's within arms reach let's say it like this

the kingdom of heaven is right in front of you

repent so you can see it

repent so you can access it yep

repent for the kingdom of heaven

is right in front of you the kingdom of heaven is within you it's not

a bank account you have to go like draw on

when you're walking

through your marketplace in society

it's actually something you carry

that you get to distribute you're like the ATM

hmm

but we have to repent

to realize what we have access to

that this is actually where we live

we live in the kingdom of heaven

you guys you guys good you guys with me today

you wanna know I'm gonna get you in the story you wanna know what the barrier is

right here

you

you can't find five steps of things to do or will reproduce

the spirit of religion

the spirit of religion is a set of

form and practices without power

but the kingdom of heaven

does not consist in words it consists in power

I'd say we

I'm not I'd say we might not change the world because we probably don't believe we can

you can we can have a list of things to do but we actually can't do them

anybody else yeah

no you become them come on and how do we become them

repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand

I actually have to change the way I think

I have to change the way I believe

I actually have to believe

the kingdom of heaven is within me

before it starts flowing out of me

if I think it's something I have to go do

then I'll just be repeating

it with this new language

the same thing we brought from the spirit of religion

which was a set of forms and sets and practices and things to do that we could never do

anybody else have that experience

I for sure had that experience

no this is access

through the spirit and the power of god

and us coming awakened

to the reality of who we are where we reside

and that him

his spirit and our spirit have been made one

so then the byproduct is I become

love joy peace patience

I don't try to do love joy peace patience

I'm trying to move on we keep hovering

the barrier is this

what do I actually believe

do I believe that if I lay hands on the sick they will recover

well I don't cause I haven't seen it happen yet

fair super fair but is it true yes

if if he said it's true is is

who who's gonna define what's true my experience or his nature

so I'm not gonna change his nature

because I haven't had the experience of it yet

what I will do is keep going

until I see it happen to confirm the actual reality

heaven just happened on the earth because

Lyme's disease just got healed at the door

and we will contend

and keep contending and pushing the ball forward

until we see and realize and the more we do

the more we know I can be in the marketplace and lay hands on the sick and they recover

cause I've seen it happen

and until I see it happen I'm just gonna risk that's

right come on

because I'm gonna risk at his nature not my experience

and I'm gonna let his nature and my risk

begin to create and write a new story

about

what he wants to do and how he wants to do it and what I actually have access to

okay

11 who's the eleven

who's the 11

Jesus is always the best answer any situation

where's Jesus

in you Christ in you the hope of glory

your spirit and his spirit have been made one

who's the 11 in the world

we are

we're a little pack of eleven

and figuratively what's that for

that we are an element that alters

or transforms a whole yes

so what if you were just enough loving

to actually transform

the whole of the environment that you find yourself in

Monday through Friday that's the fun part that's

the this is the fun part can we get to the fun part

this is the fun part

you get to show up in your Monday through Friday in your environment

you are the 11 and what are you producing

what are you doing out there

I'm glad you asked

the fivefold ministry is called to equip the saints

for the work of the service

to prophesy to Shepherd to evangelize to teach and to

be sent to do the works

roughly

10 to 15% of the church is called to train and equip

the church yeah

this concludes that 85 to 90% of the church

is to be the ministers

doing the work of the ministry what's the ministry

who's the 85%

it's a it's a travesty

that what the the I think traditional church come on

dad look we've done this in our own movement

we've we've idolized this come on dad

and and thought this is where ministry happens

and the ministry is supposed to happen in the box

and and and it's a travesty because the world's dying

while we're here one day a week thriving

thriving one day a week

no no no you were to be sent

the work of the ministry is to be done out there

the workers are in the room

it's not about ministry up here

it's not about ministry on the pulpit

it's not about ministry on the ministry line

you don't have to

invite your friend to get prayer after

Sunday after service at 11:50 if Dan finishes on time

you can get your miracle

no no

no you have the power of god in you in your workplace

lay hands on the sick watch him recover

well it didn't happen Dan then keep contending

and be with them while they're working out what

can a contending for their miracle

well I don't know how to do that

well it's a good thing we have a five fold

ministry that can connect

uh equip you in being pastoral to help Shepherd people

while they're walking through their wholeness

hmm

what's the work

to be apostolic to be sent with a mission

Jesus sent you with a mission go therefore

make disciples teach them the ways I have taught you

profess the word of the Lord reconciling

hearts of the father to the sons and sons to the father

prophesy

solutions to the environment you find yourself in

speak the word of the Lord concerning what is to come

it is the fun stuff

it's not really hard because it has nothing

it has a lot less to do with us than

more to just to do with what he's doing

and that what Jesus

said I only do what I see my father doing

I say what I hear him saying

we just get to listen and obey

Comfort Console Care for compassion bring healing and

restoration to those you're around

restoration to relationships individuals and and health

evangelize share the good news

you know what the good news is we've been set free

I I I think we put it in another box

why I need the Romans road and I need to do a tract

and I need to like deliver you know deliver

uh uh walk someone into the prayer of salvation

look the prayer of salvation didn't exist

when Jesus walked

like let's think it through

we've we've created these formulas it's

it's not that you won't do that but sometimes

you're the sower sometimes you're the reaper

sometimes you're you're you're actually just bringing

comfort and consoling and shepherding people

in your workplace

hmm

share the good news what's the good news

we've been set free

hey I used to be addicted and now I'm not that's good news

let me give that away

hey I used to be have the fear of man and now I don't

let me give that away

hey I used to be hopeless and now I have hope

let me give that away

I used to be discouraged but now I have courage

let me impart some courage to you

this is the good news Jesus saves

he sets us free

this is the good news he's the deliverer

I think sometimes we read the stories and think of the

demoniac demoniac however you pronounce the word

and and he's like you know manifesting and we're like

well that guy needs to be delivered

look we need to be delivered

we may not be manifesting like that

but when something happens and all of a sudden anxiety

gets riddled through your body

y'all need to be delivered

like this is this

it's deliverance looks more than just manifesting

on the ground because you got a demon in you

it also looks like you're enthralled and encapsulated

with ruminations

of the mind and you need to be set free

and then what happens share the good news

I've been set free

I used to have anxiety and now I don't can I pray for you

guess what you're leading them to Jesus

why because he's in you

and they just got introduced to him

his nature his likeness

and had a lot less to do with me walking

someone through the Romans road

and a lot more to do with the fact they experienced power

cause the kingdom of heaven consists in

power not in words

I'm yelling I don't know why I'm yelling I'm sorry

it's the sweatshirt it's the sweatshirt

look evangelize and then teach some haha and then teach

look I think we make it complicated

oh my god

like teach

well teach what well Jesus said go therefore

make disciples of all nations and then what

teaching them in all the ways I have taught you

what are you teaching well what are you learning

what have you Learned

what has he done in you

I come to learn that

emotional health is extraordinarily

helpful so has the people that I do life with

they are grateful that I have Learned this too is what I'm saying

I've come to learn about identity come on

I've come to learn about purpose

I went through this discipleship school and I Learned a lot so there's your plug

if you wanna come

no like what are you learning what have you Learned

teaching them in the ways I have taught you

I don't think it's complicated

but I think we put pictures and

rightfully so over the course of time and our experience

we've

built pictures and structures

of what it is supposed to look like

he said Matthew 10 heal the sick

raise the dead cast out demons

freely you've received freely give

so who's doing the stuff

we are

where are we doing it

everywhere where do you go everywhere wherever you go

wherever you go you bring the kingdom with you

wherever you go you give away what you have

wherever you go you release

the power in the presence of god

it's in the marketplace it's whatever you know

I use this when I'm in school I I I teach with uh

use this analogy of you know you sit at a dinner table

whatever table you're sitting at

is where you've been given permission

to influence

it's your Metron it's your sphere of influence

could be your workplace

it could be your stage of life as a mom

it could be your stage of life as

a a a parenting young adults it could be your

stage of life wherever you find yourself

when you got kids

between I don't know my kids didn't do soccer

what is it five to could be 15

could be a long on and on depending on how

travel soccer all things

whatever season of life you're sitting in

well you know I just have to do this cause we got this kid and he's doing that and that one's doing that and now we're over here and now we're over there and

eventually soccer season

will end and then baseball season will start and

or LaCrosse that's what it is here right LaCrosse and

like wait wait what

have to

no this is your Metron

so show up with what well whatever lord's taught you

what if you showed up in wisdom and excellence

and creativity

and what if you showed up in your leadership

well then I'd be like coaching

and I ain't got time for that like well

maybe you should

why would you be doing that well cause there's a leadership gift on me well

show up

what better place to show up than in the world

with the gift that god has given you to release

to the world around you

your Metron your neighborhood

your work your home your playground

we've we've said this before but I don't

I feel like sometimes we put boxes in it and especially

with what it's supposed to look like or

you know I'm in the playground and I'm like okay I need to like

okay there's a mom I

what am I gonna Lord what are you saying

I uh

there's a mom she looks discouraged what would you do

wow what would Jesus do what would you do

I'd give her an encouraging word cause she

that's what I would want start there

it's not complicated right just show up give

away what has been given do you have courage

I have courage then go give courage

I don't know it's weird I was

like yeah get over the fear of man that is absolutely

100% trying to prevent

you from walking in your destiny and your identity

the fear of man needs to be I'm edit myself

it needs to die

I heard the Lord

actually say this a couple years ago I'm coming

I've declared

war on the fear of man I'm putting to death

the performer

I'm gonna get me off on a rant

look

we won't do this if we try to be what somebody else is

we won't do this if we're trying to be what

what a speaker up here is

we won't do it if you're trying to be what the you know

your neighbor is the soccer coach that you're

working with like if you coach like him

you're not gonna you you ain't showing up

no no we the fear of the fear of man is 100%

trying to prevent you from walking in your identity

your purpose and your authority and your calling

it needs to die

we are somewhere right now it needs to die

the spirit of performance the spirit of religion

the fear of man it's all tied together go after

it it needs to die in our life it cannot live

if it lives we do not that's right that is

right and we don't do everything what we're preaching

that is right

change the world come on because it's not go after it

it's not your strategy

and yet it is but it's not your strategy

that changes the world it's

the fact that you're showing up in your unique facet

of the glory of god that the world's never seen like Solomon

did

through wisdom and in creativity

hmm

but if you're afraid of what people are thinking

or that you're not

you're not making the money your neighbors making

or you don't have the car they have or you don't have the

you know the letters

after your name the way they have it or

you don't have the you know whatever the ministry

in the homeless ministry like they have and they're

thriving and rocking and we're not doing anything

look if you live there

you'll live there

but what's your unique facet of the glory of god

it's called you're called to be

and release

it it has to be discovered

it has to be released and it only get released

if we can overcome the fear of man that prevents us

the comparison come on okay no it's good keep going sir

what are you releasing you're releasing heaven

healing voice of the father through prophecy

you're bringing security and identity purpose

joy hope peace restoration faith

kindness encouragement generosity wisdom

solutions truth comfort purity health

servanthood the list is long

it does imply that you have it

you can only give away what you have

teaching them in the way

in all the ways that I have taught you

you

freely you have received now freely give he tells the

disciples when he sends them out

give what you've received

what have you received have you received restoration

have you received purity have you received uh comfort

health

generosity wisdom give it away

give it away freely

in whatever table you find yourself

sitting at give it away

come on come on

this is where I wanted to get uh

let me get here and then we'll go there and maybe we'll finish

what are you targeting

Jesus said I come to destroy the works of the devil

hopelessness disease sickness injustice despair

desolation destruction poverty devastation

fatherlessness orphanhood

anything that doesn't look like heaven

yeah if it doesn't look like heaven that's a target

well poverty is a big thing I know

it's gonna need some wisdom

we're gonna need some wisdom from another realm

to to impact a second heaven problem

hopelessness

it's rampant I know start with your sphere

what table are you sitting at find it eradicate it

do you have hope

give it away recklessly

give it away recklessly do you have courage

give it away Reckley we should be the most encouraging

church in the whole county

we should be the most encouraging

people anywhere you find yourself

with because you have the courage of another world

you have the king of kings with you we should be

look if we're going to compete in anything

let's be better at courage

and he's like I don't know can we compete

why not let's outdo one another in honor that was

he literally told us outdo one another in honor yeah

let's outdo one another encourage

yeah let's be more encouraging than your neighbor

let's just believe in people more than they believe in themselves

can we do that it's not hard it's not complicated we

I we gotta get this ripping stuff off

getting out of our own way

that we can just look and go well

how can I just encourage

the person that I see in the grocery store

last night I was grocery shopping Quinn works and I've

become the one who does the grocery shopping now so

I'm grocery shopping

and I've Learned Saturdays are terrible days

to do this I know

all y'all who actually do this you know I'm just catching up

Mondays Mondays

Tuesday okay I find really good on Mondays

so I'm grocery shopping last night

and and I walk into the grocery store

and and there's a guy in front of me and

he's a little bit deer in the headlights and

and I'm like yeah we're both looking for the good cards

at Kroger the small ones

those are the better ones I'm like but they're all

they're gone and there's two but they're

stuck together and now we're standing there

like what are we doing

so I'm like I'm committed I'm just gonna go get the big cart

get the big cart turn around he's walking

and I'm like oh you're doing this I throw him the cart

I'm like oh you're probably needing this

and he's like I am thanks

sometimes you're the sower

sometimes you're the reaper it's not hard

it takes me 90 seconds

to go out of my way to bless somebody

to encourage somebody to serve somebody

to bring a little kindness

that is the fruit of the spirit

south pretty good at this so I I get it

to bring a little kindness

look what if we just took ownership that oh I'm actually gonna bring courage

to the people I'm around in the environment I'm in

I'm gonna bring hope to this environment I'm gonna

serve the people in this environment hmm

okay the fun part

how are you doing this

look you gotta resurrect your hobbies

there is like where did he go

what left turn did he just take look

there was a teaching

that said we had to put to death our desires

and our passions in the name of being spiritual

but in Ephesians it says that we are redeemed

what's been redeemed

as we say in south all y'all

not just some of you all y'all

body soul spirit everything's been redeemed

your passions your desires your interests

if they are in submission to the spirit Romans

8 we are LED by the spirit this is your unique

special sauce that actually gets to reveal

I had to remind myself on the basketball court meekness

no we show up in the attributes of the kingdom and we

show up in the attributes of heaven

and we eradicate hopelessness when I see it

sickness disease

yeah actually do what you love to do you might actually

find that you're meant to release an expression

through creativity

that actually might do something bigger in the world

than even just cause you to show up in a place of influence

it might be a wisdom a heavenly solution

wisdom which is a heavenly solution

to something that actually might be larger

hmm

it shows up in your assignments

your your your stage of life your where you serve um

your civic

duty I was doing a class this morning and someone asked

what about civic duty is that a thing

1,000% yes

1,000% yes I remember

first showing up at a Rotary International meeting

when I had a business and

and I was showing up to network and to you know help

make my money make my business

more profitable that was my genuine in

my genuine motivation

and I show up the first meeting and I realized the

the uh the mayor

city council people the share uh the uh uh

police chief and the fire chief

the people that make the decisions in high level on uh

business people the people that make the decisions

in the city I live in were in this meeting

and the kingdom wasn't present

there were believers

but there weren't kingdom believers

if we think kingdom believers we think

bring earth a heaven to earth

and I'm sitting in a room where there's

the decision makers for the city I live in

and the kingdom isn't present

that's a problem

and then I get upset that the city's doing

things it shouldn't be doing

they should be more ethical

yeah they should be thinking about their people more

yeah I don't know there's corruption in there

well what do you expect

you're not there

yeah as business people and people in our city

if it's part of an assignment and I think we exclude

the assignment piece for

filling the blank whatever reason we do spiritual not

you

know not spiritual enough and not I don't have time I

don't I do my you know I do my giving at the church

yes we as a family have rules and

responsibilities here we take care of family

that we do that we serve

one another we're part of a family

but if we're not part of the world we live in

it is going to go to hell in a handbasket

it's literally

what's gonna happen because we aren't present

the light of the world

you guys with me I got 20 seconds you guys with me here

we

need to show up in the world that we find ourselves in

we have wisdom from another world solutions

love joy peace patience kindness we have

attributes of the kingdom

that the world is in dire need of

don't you guys stand

we want to be everyday people doing

extraordinary things it says in Daniel

they will know their god and they will do great

exploits

let's be the people that do greater works

let's be the people that show up in our

spheres of influence and just leak the kingdom

because it's so overflowing in us

Lord I thank you for what you're doing in our house I thank you for

just who you're calling us to be

I thank you father for our city

whatever city that's represented in the room

Lord I thank you that we've been given permission

the privilege of serving

to see the kingdom of heaven show up

Lord we do declare on earth as it is in heaven

in our city in Atlanta as it is in heaven come on

Lord we

we we pray that you get what you paid for in our life

and that you get what you paid for in our city

Lord open our eyes and ears

release the spirit of wisdom

revelation and understanding

to just continually awaken us

to just how powerful we are because of whose we are

and where we reside
