  1. Welcome to the podcast of the White Church in Adelaide, South

  2. Australia. Well, it certainly has been a

  3. wonderful weekend. I absolutely love spending time

  4. with you guys as a church, with the Evers and with the Pounders

  5. and Dudley and Anne and Leon and Pat on Friday morning are really

  6. good and I'm really excited for this morning.

  7. I believe that God has got an appointment with us.

  8. Amen. Is that PowerPoint up with

  9. anybody? Can you put it on for us?

  10. So I really believe this with all of my heart that you as a

  11. local church that this is what God is doing is building a

  12. strong home based church, which is a community of love to reach

  13. the nations with of the earth with the gospel of the Kingdom.

  14. And then that's what God wants to see take place.

  15. You are building a strong home based church, which is a

  16. community of love to reach the nation's review with the gospel

  17. of the Kingdom. You know, the Bible says in one

  18. Corinthians 13, you can, you can sing in the tongues of angels.

  19. You can you can have faith that moves mountains.

  20. If you have not love, you are nothing, you gain nothing.

  21. And then you will know that they will know that you're my

  22. disciples by your loved one for another.

  23. And Myra said that to me. She says, you know, in this

  24. community, there's a love, There's a love for one another.

  25. There's a love for God, There's a love for people.

  26. And God wants to form that, develop that, expand that and

  27. grow that. I mean, and a line, a line to

  28. draw you together, the chords of love that cannot be broken.

  29. But go to the next slide, please.

  30. For those of you who don't know. Yeah, this is a photograph, not

  31. a very good one, but it's from Santa Marta in Colombia in South

  32. America, which is where Maya and I do spend quite a bit of time.

  33. And it's an island just off the coast.

  34. And this is a lighthouse on the top of it, you know?

  35. And you know, God has called it the church.

  36. We are the light of the world, Amen.

  37. But he also says in Matthew chapter 16, that too, Peter

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  38. says, on this rock, I will build my church.

  39. And that rock is the revelation of who Jesus is and what Jesus

  40. has done, Amen. He's the foundation of our

  41. lives. And what I love about this

  42. picture is the enormity and the immensity of this rock in

  43. comparison to this small little light.

  44. You know, that rock goes, it goes all the way down, right

  45. down into the bedrock of the ocean.

  46. That rock's not floating and, and that's the same as Christ

  47. Jesus in comparison to us. You know, he's got no beginning

  48. of days, no end of days. He he was he is he is to come

  49. and then he split the world into existence and then and and we

  50. need to have that that vision of Christ.

  51. Once you go to the next slide. Please mate.

  52. And so everything rises or falls on leadership.

  53. Am I right And one of the things that I love about this church is

  54. that God is assembling a wonderful bunch of leaders great

  55. couples. We had, we had, we had lunch

  56. with Dan and Chatella after yesterday.

  57. And God is blessing you with some incredibly called gifted

  58. and anointed men and women. And obviously we've got men and

  59. women that have run the race and that are still running the race,

  60. you know, in your midst as well. And I really believe that God

  61. is, is forming an embryonic community of, of older

  62. generation of people that can impart to a new generation that

  63. can run with what God has got for it.

  64. And I want to say this to you guys, the biggest need in the

  65. world today is leadership, Leadership that is not afraid of

  66. man, Amen. And that is only living in the

  67. fear of the Lord, Amen. It wants to please him and him

  68. alone. You know, I'm just thinking as

  69. it came to you, as I said, that Jesus is the rock of offence.

  70. Yes, Jesus is the rock of offence.

  71. OK, the Bible says this. Whoever falls on that rock, rock

  72. will be broken. But whoever who that rock falls

  73. on will be crushed. OK?

  74. So this morning on the way up, I picked up this rock close to

  75. David's house there, right? And so, I mean, if I threw you

  76. with this rock, it's going to crush you, am I right?

  77. OK, I threw you with this. I threw it at you, you know.

  78. But think when you come into contact with Jesus, change is a

  79. foregone conclusion. Either you're going to see who

  80. he is, you're going to fall on that rock.

  81. You're going to lie him to break you and then put you back

  82. together and he's going to break your flesh.

  83. He's going to break the fallen sinful nature inside of you and

  84. he's going to form himself in you or one day this rock is

  85. going to crush you and annihilate you.

  86. As I I think it's 40. I don't know where to get the

  87. reference against, not in my notes, but just how he's

  88. prompting it says this. I swear a word before me that

  89. will never be revoked is the Lord.

  90. One day every knee will bow. Every time we'll confess that in

  91. the Lord alone, our salvation and strength and glory and

  92. honor. There's not one person that's

  93. going to stand before Jesus the rock and stick their finger in

  94. his nose and say you're unfair, you're unjust, I don't deserve

  95. this. We're going to see him.

  96. We're going to see the Gracie extended to us, the Lovely

  97. extended to us. You know, I did the military

  98. training in back in South Africa.

  99. And I want to tell you one thing.

  100. There's no atheist on the battlefield.

  101. There's no atheist on the battlefield.

  102. And the truth is, when we speak to most people in a crisis in

  103. their life, even atheists, I remember this one guy was

  104. telling the story. He was debating this atheist on

  105. a radio show, and the guy asked him to give the full name for

  106. Darwin's book on evolution because it's got a special name.

  107. So that atheist goes, oh, my God, what is it?

  108. And then he says, you see, even atheists call out for God when

  109. they need help. Yeah.

  110. Oh, my God. What is it?

  111. Are you with me? OK, It's, it's We're going to

  112. see that. And we're going to see how we

  113. called on God in our deepest time of need.

  114. And he answered and we carried on and nodded.

  115. The point of all of that is Jesus is the rock of offence.

  116. He's going to offend you and he's going to offend the world.

  117. And as a leadership team, don't even try not to offend people.

  118. You gonna understand this. It's a foregone conclusion that

  119. you're going to offend the world.

  120. If you were sinless perfection, you would still offend Him.

  121. Do you know why I can say that Jesus was the most holy, perfect

  122. and pure man that ever existed without sin.

  123. And they're so offended with Him.

  124. They crucified him and sent Him to the cross.

  125. Now don't try and be offensive and let not your mannerisms be

  126. offensive. But if it's going to come to the

  127. Word of God and it's truth about Jesus and Him, the rock of

  128. offense, don't pull your punches.

  129. Are you with me? But that means we need good,

  130. strong leadership. All right, next slide, then

  131. please, champion. Next one, just just keep on

  132. hearing it. So I want to give you 4 pillars.

  133. If you're going to be a base church, if you're going to just

  134. hit the whole thing, my man, if you're going to be a base church

  135. that's going to impact a community of love, that's going

  136. to impact the nations for Jesus, there's 4 things you need.

  137. Just hit it again. That's the 11.

  138. Can you see what's happening there?

  139. OK, I'm going to come back to that in a moment.

  140. But you need to have a vision of Jesus.

  141. That's what I'm trying to do this weekend.

  142. I'm trying to establish and give you the foundation of Christ,

  143. our rock. I mean, so you need a vision of

  144. Jesus. You need a vision of God, of the

  145. Holy Spirit of the Father, and the vision of eternity.

  146. Remember the real and the really real we've spoken about.

  147. Secondly, you need to realize that everything that we do on

  148. earth is supposed to be done in team.

  149. The revelation of God Himself to us is that of a Father, Son and

  150. Holy Spirit. 3 in one, am I right?

  151. Have you noticed that almost of all of life works in trinities,

  152. the 1st and most basic team that God created on earth was man and

  153. woman, husband and wife, and then he said to be fruitful,

  154. increase and multiply. A family is made-up of a

  155. Trinity, Husband, wife, children.

  156. It's a Trinity in a local church.

  157. We have elders, deacons and the priesthood of all believers.

  158. It's a Trinity team is absolutely essential for you to

  159. reach the nations. You're building a team so that

  160. when you travel, this just continue to carry on families of

  161. team, yes. So you need to have team.

  162. All these little triangles that make up that big triangle

  163. represents each one of you and each one of you are a priest in

  164. this church. And we'll get that in a moment,

  165. right? It's a triangle on its side

  166. because the way we impart the vision and we work in team is

  167. through covenantal relationships.

  168. And I spoke about that you last year.

  169. Do you remember the four things that I said that covenantal

  170. relationships are committed, submitted, serving, and

  171. preserving? And then we're going to look at

  172. that in a little bit greater detail.

  173. And then covenantal relationships lead into

  174. discipleship. Discipleship naturally flows out

  175. of covenant, teamwork and vision.

  176. Amen. Discipleship flows out of

  177. intimacy and covenant relationship.

  178. Or intimate ones deeply committed to one another,

  179. submitted to God, submitted to one another, caring for one

  180. another and preserving. Preserving means there's going

  181. to be a need to forgive. If you've been married for 5

  182. minutes, then you know there's going to be a need to forgive,

  183. am I right? OK, you need to forgive one

  184. another. The way you preserve the

  185. relationship is you extend forgiveness.

  186. OK. Are you happy with that?

  187. There's a little picture. What we need, what is most

  188. needed, secondly, after good, strong leadership, is a good,

  189. strong, secure priesthood, the priesthood of all believers.

  190. And we looked at that yesterday. Amen.

  191. Jesus, our high priest and New Testament King of kings, us, his

  192. New Testament priest and Kingdom agents on earth.

  193. We are ambassadors for the King and his Kingdom, Amen.

  194. We minister to him, we minister to ourselves, we minister to

  195. sinners, and we minister to the Saints.

  196. Next one they study. Now this is a pro, this is the

  197. journey. We're all on the journey, Amen.

  198. The Bible says you have been born, you have been born again

  199. of imperishable seed, Amen. If you have faith like a mustard

  200. seed, it doesn't matter because it will grow to become a huge

  201. tree that fills the whole earth. And then and so we're in this

  202. progression to grow and be rooted and established in Jesus

  203. and become these strong, secure and mature trees.

  204. If you have your Bibles, maybe someone can turn there for me.

  205. Someone can read for me Revelations chapter 5 verses 9

    Revelation 5:9

  206. and 10? And they sing a new song,

  207. saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and open the seals,

  208. because you were slain. And with your blood you purchase

  209. to God persons from every God and nation and language and

  210. people. You have made them a Kingdom of

  211. priests to serve our God, and they will reign.

  212. On the earth, who are you? Because of who Jesus is, Jesus

  213. is our Savior. He purchased us with his blood.

  214. He's the King of kings. He's the perfect sacrifice for

  215. our sins. He's the high priest that

  216. offered himself and says that he purchased us men from every

  217. tribe, kind of language and nation to be what?

  218. A Kingdom of priests to serve our God and reign on this earth.

  219. My friend, God doesn't want you to apologize for existing.

  220. God doesn't want you just to survive.

  221. God wants you to thrive. He wants you to rule.

  222. He wants you to reign. He wants you to have dominion

  223. over the earth and exercise authority over it.

  224. Well, this is amazing my friends.

  225. I don't know about you, but I don't just want to be, I want

  226. you to love. Jesus said I've come that you

  227. might have life and life abundantly, my friends, Amen.

  228. And so let's understand this, my friends, we are the priesthood.

  229. We are the priest kings to rule on this earth and to reign on

  230. this earth. Now let me just go back to that

  231. picture of the priesthood, please.

  232. But you know what I've discovered as I've LED church?

  233. I've been leading Lighthouse for 23 years.

  234. There's a couple in our church that joined us about two years

  235. ago. She has got an incredible

  236. gifting and anointing and he's an incredible man with a

  237. wonderful call of God in his life.

  238. And I met him and he said to me, don't consider me for

  239. leadership. I'm not interested.

  240. And this bothered me, and this puzzled me because I can see

  241. leadership on him and I can see it on his wife.

  242. Anyway, I've started to work with the guy, discipling, only

  243. to discover that the guy is struggling with some sins.

  244. And because he's struggling with sin, he feels disqualified, he

  245. feels unworthy, and he's taking himself out of the race.

  246. How sad is that? And then and he's been saved for

  247. 20 years, 30 years. He's not a new believer, but his

  248. struggle against sin is stopping him from being the priest that

  249. called called him to be and to walk into the destiny that God

  250. has got in his life. Isn't it make me so angry, not

  251. with him, but with the devil because in that verse where

  252. Jesus says I've come into my love life and love abundance

  253. starts with this thief comes to what rob, steal, kill and

  254. destroy. Are you with me?

  255. And I've seen that. I've seen that I've been

  256. posturing for all of these years and I see how what's wrong?

  257. Why are you laughing? What am I doing?

  258. I'm playing with my coins. OK, Take it out.

  259. The posture. I see how that happens.

  260. Now. I want to help you today.

  261. I want to help you today. Please, Jesus help us.

  262. I want to show you how God won wants to forgive you of your

  263. sin, how God wants to heal you of your sin, and how God wants

  264. you to live to live in victory over sin.

  265. It's good. Do you believe?

  266. Do you believe that you can live in victory over sin where sin is

  267. not your master? I want you to think about it

  268. carefully because I'll be honest with you, my friends.

  269. I reckon most Christians believe in the forgiveness of sin.

  270. Hardly any of them have faith to live in complete victory over

  271. sin. If we're honest, we believe it

  272. impossible, but I believe it's not impossible.

  273. I can do all things through Christ You strengthens US1 Peter

  274. 2 says. His divine power has given us

  275. everything for life and godliness through our knowledge

  276. of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.

  277. And then through Him we've got these very great and precious

  278. promises. By then we will escape the

  279. corruption that is caused in this rule by evil desires.

  280. I want to escape my friends. I want to live in victory over

  281. some. Yes.

  282. All right, so you got that four verse six and seven, Dave.

  283. Yes. So the Lord said to Kane, why

  284. are you angry? Why is your countenance for if

  285. you do well, will you not be accepted?

  286. If you do not do well, sin lies at the door, and it's desire is

  287. for you. But you should go over it if you

  288. do what is right. If you not do what is right, sin

  289. is crouching at your door. It desires to have you.

  290. But listen to this. You, Johnny, must master it.

  291. Isn't that amazing, my friends? God wants you to do what?

  292. He wants you to master sin. The context is Genesis 4, which

  293. is just after Genesis 3, which is the fall of mankind.

  294. God's plan for man to rule and reign on earth from Genesis 1

  295. and 2 did not change because of the fall.

  296. He still says to Adam there it's what you came and Abel, you must

  297. what? What must you do?

  298. Master sin, master sin, you must master sin.

  299. Isn't that amazing? OK, we've got Romans 4614, Mira.

  300. Sin is no longer your master or you are no longer subject to the

  301. law, which instead you to sin. Instead, you are free by God's

  302. grace, for sin shall not be your master, because you're not under

  303. the law, but you are under grace.

  304. Isn't that amazing? Who's got my mate Black?

  305. You've got Hebrews. Hebrews 12 hey.

  306. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud

  307. of witness, let us throw off everything that hinders and the

  308. sin that is so easily entangled, and let us run with perseverance

  309. the race marked out for us. Isn't that amazing?

  310. Hey, what must you do? There's my mate's jacket.

  311. Sin is like a jacket, right? And what does the Bible say?

  312. Cost it off and then throw it off.

  313. Get rid of it. You know the Bible says your

  314. sinful nature. A gross circumcised picture of a

  315. foreskin. Cut it off, cut it off,

  316. circumcise it and then throw it away.

  317. How do you do that? Verse 2.

  318. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of faith.

  319. But the joy is set before him. He endured the cross scoring.

  320. It's shame. Scorning.

  321. It's shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of.

  322. God, carry on. Consider him who endured such

  323. opposition for sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose

  324. heart. Isn't that amazing?

  325. Hey, Jesus, my friends, Jesus is a victorious champion.

  326. And what are we to do, Blake? Fix ours on him.

  327. Why? Because he is the champion, he

  328. is victorious over sin. And then yesterday we were I was

  329. doing some things with the church here and we looked at the

  330. seven foundations of Jesus life and we said that that his spirit

  331. and conception was important, right.

  332. And then we said his life was important.

  333. And why is Jesus life important? What does Jesus life do for us?

  334. Let me tell you, the life of Jesus shows us this one thing.

  335. It was 100% possible for a man to live in this world, in this

  336. fallen world, in the sinful world, in victory over sin.

  337. Did Jesus once sin? Never once.

  338. And was he victorious over sin? Yes.

  339. The Bible says he disarmed and defeated.

  340. Now think about that. Think about that.

  341. Satan has just been defeated and disarmed.

  342. What happens if your enemy is defeated and disarmed?

  343. He's got no feet and he's got no arms if you do nothing, am I

  344. right? But you know, most of us, we

  345. don't see Satan like that because our view of Satan isn't

  346. a bigger than our view of Jesus. But Jesus, my friends, he's a

  347. victorious champion. He disarmed and he defeated

  348. Satan and you are a victorious concrete in him.

  349. But you've got to see it. And I promise you now, my

  350. friends, there is a, there is a real war for the battle of your

  351. mind because if you believe it, you can live in it.

  352. But if you don't believe it, you can't live in it.

  353. Lord in Jesus name I praise. I continue speaking today that

  354. you release faith in this room. I pray today that shackles would

  355. be broken. In Jesus name I pray that your

  356. Kingdom would come and that your will be done.

  357. Lord, I take authority of every vain thought, every imagination

  358. and every lie of the devil that tells people that can't break

  359. free. I pray that into the foundations

  360. of this church this morning, faith to live in victory over

  361. sin would be released in Jesus name.

  362. Holy Spirit, come and lead us into the truth of the scripture.

  363. We pray in Jesus name, Amen. I've got some props here today,

  364. right? OK, wait, let's do this.

  365. I'm going to just quickly show you this illustration because

  366. it's powerful illustration. So the makeup of of this local

  367. church and my local church back home.

  368. Let's use my church as an example, OK?

  369. We've got about 400 with kids in the community.

  370. We've got 6 eldership couples. OK, so what's six 6 * 2 because

  371. of my mad ones, 1212 eldership people, another man of the

  372. elders. But we've got 50 deacons.

  373. OK, so that's what, 62? And then we brought, we brought

  374. I'd say 340 something priests. Amen.

  375. OK. And I would guess that's most

  376. probably the rough proportions of most churches around the

  377. world when you say that's true, right?

  378. Small amounts of leaders in terms of elders, 10% deacons in

  379. the bulk of the church are priests and the world leaders.

  380. I want to show you what the Satan did.

  381. Most churches around the world where I've travelled, this is

  382. what he did. He came to the priest and he

  383. said, you know what, you are too stupid to be priests.

  384. You can't be priests. And he just said, you know what,

  385. you need to shut up and listen. You need to come to church and

  386. you need to spectate. You need to come to church to

  387. consume. And he just did that.

  388. And then you know what he had to contend with?

  389. He had to contend with about 85% of the church.

  390. Sorry, only 15% of the church. You neutralize God's army and

  391. now all he has to deal with is that much.

  392. What can that much do? Not a lot.

  393. But true Apostolic Christianity wants to bring us back to the

  394. Apostolic prophetic model of church, a New Testament church

  395. where every single priest, every single Deacon, every single

  396. elder is a Saint of God Most High.

  397. And then you never, ever graduate from being a St.

  398. You live in victory overson. And now God has got an awesome

  399. army and it's got capacity for way more ministry than just and

  400. into the foundation of this church.

  401. I want to ask you, are you going to be a consumer church or are

  402. you going to be a church with a priesthood or enlisted?

  403. And they're involved in the army and they're doing what God

  404. called him to do. Now, if you're going to be that

  405. kind of church, then you've got to have this teaching of how to

  406. live in picturing of a sin as foundational.

  407. Are you with me so far? OK, wonderful.

  408. So let's have a look at this Now.

  409. Maybe someone can turn to Genesis 27.

  410. Anyone. Does someone do it?

  411. The Bible says there. Genesis 27.

  412. Donnie, you got it. No, Bianca.

  413. Genesis 27 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of

  414. the ground. OK, dust of the ground gave you

  415. a body, am I right? Yes.

  416. Into his nostrils, the breath of life.

  417. That's the Spirit of God coming into Adam.

  418. And the man became a living, a living being in the nutrient.

  419. And this is a living soul. OK, So we had a body.

  420. God gave him a soul, Your mind, will and emotions, right?

  421. And then he breathed the breath of God and then God.

  422. Then God gave him the spirit. And so there was man.

  423. What is soul and spirit? Amen.

  424. OK. But then as like we heard

  425. yesterday, something happened. I'm going to have to take this

  426. covering off that something happened certainly into the

  427. world, am I right? OK, When you eat of the tree of

  428. the knowledge of good and evil, you will surely come.

  429. Hold this for me, please. All right, You will surely die.

  430. And what happened in that moment when we looked at this in depth,

  431. there's a but God who mankind who was sinlessly perfect on his

  432. own spirit. His spiritual condition to God

  433. was broken and he got connected to Satan and now who was his

  434. covering? Who was his head?

  435. Satan. So his spirit was not connected

  436. and and was in darkness, his soul oops his mind, his mind

  437. became affected, his emotions became affected and his world

  438. became affected and his body, the natural desires, food, sex,

  439. need for money, need for all became corrupted life.

  440. And now we have man in this simple full estate.

  441. OK, and that's where we find ourselves, am I right?

  442. But now what does God do? How do you enter the Kingdom in

  443. heaven? What does love say?

  444. I said the truth on this. OK, so when they died, what part

  445. of them died? Their spirit, This part.

  446. So this part died and it became connected to Satan.

  447. Their bodies were corrupted and their souls were tainted.

  448. Now what happens when you get born again?

  449. Hey, if any man here in Christ sees that the oldest so Wolfson

  450. and the new comes and you are clothed with Christ and

  451. instantaneous you're what you are born again instantaneous

  452. you're transferred from the Kingdom of darkness.

  453. You transferred from being under this Kingdom into this Kingdom.

  454. And then, but what's the problem?

  455. When you look under the hood? It's ugly because what happens,

  456. although your spirit is instantaneously transformed and

  457. renewed, is your mind instantaneously renewed?

  458. Is your will instantaneously renewed?

  459. Is your emotions in instantaneously renewed?

  460. Is your body? No.

  461. So what must God do? He must start a process of

  462. sanctification. When he starts to do what he

  463. starts to take the truth of the Word of God and he starts to

  464. take the, the, the the Spirit of God and he starts to what he

  465. starts to point into your life. He starts to transform your

  466. body, soul and spirit and he starts to conform you into Jesus

  467. and there's a lightness. Amen.

  468. The problem is though, you've got a choice.

  469. You can search in the spirit and from the spirit life or you.

  470. Now remember this, your spirit, your spirit is always covered.

  471. You're a new crush, am I right? I just can't pour the water in

  472. there. The spirit's there.

  473. You're covered, right? But I can't use the

  474. illustration. But what happens sometimes is

  475. you make the wrong choice. You look at the wrong thing.

  476. You read it now you're in the struggle.

  477. You're in the struggle between what?

  478. You're in the struggle between. See, I have another bottle.

  479. You see, you're worried, you're in the struggle between this

  480. flesh and this represents the flesh, the world, Satan, the

  481. demonic and sin, or the spirit, the Bible, the church, and the

  482. Kingdom of God. What are you going to?

  483. Who are you going to serve? Who are you going to choose to

  484. follow? And I'm contending today that

  485. you can get to the place where you're not just forgiven of sin,

  486. you not just heal from sins, but where you live victorious.

  487. And then you want to learn how to do that.

  488. Come on. We've got to do that now.

  489. OK. I hope that's a helpful

  490. illustration. Because, you know, honestly,

  491. what happens is I've heard a lot of people, there's another,

  492. there's another cough somewhere. Honestly, I've heard a lot of

  493. people. They get born again, Johnny,

  494. they get born again and they haven't experienced.

  495. But what happens to this? You know, it's like honeymoon.

  496. When you first get saved, you almost start struggling with

  497. anything. But then a couple of months

  498. later, then your world kicks in, then your mind kicks in, then

  499. your emotions kick in. Then you start to have the

  500. struggle. And then you let people say it

  501. wasn't real. I'm not a good person.

  502. I didn't get saved because they don't understand that the

  503. spirits is born again. They need to transform their

  504. minds, they need to transform their emotions.

  505. They need to sanctify themselves.

  506. All right, They get confused. Am I safe?

  507. Am I not safe? Am I Christian?

  508. Am I not a Christian? Now?

  509. I love what you read it. Like I said, even you struggle

  510. against them. Do not use heart.

  511. Do not go worry. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

  512. Amen. Someone was going to read

  513. Matthew 120 verse 21. I want to listen to this.

  514. But after he had considered this, an Angel of the Lord

  515. appeared to him in a dream, and said, Moses, son of David, do

  516. not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what she

  517. is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

  518. Amen and. She'll give birth to a son, and

  519. you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his

  520. people from their sins. He will save his people from

  521. their sins. You see, my friends, Jesus was

  522. the third person that in his body, soul and spirit was

  523. perfectly sinless. Adam and Eve were created like

  524. that, but they fell. Jesus comes as the third person,

  525. perfectly sinless, body, soul and spirit and he's and the

  526. Angel promises. That's why the virgin birth is

  527. important, because the Angel promises to Joseph he will save

  528. people from Listen and I'll ask you the question is that what's

  529. the difference between salvation from sin and forgiveness of sin?

  530. Forgiveness of sin is. If you have sin and Jesus.

  531. Gives us forgiveness. Amen.

  532. Yes, and. Then sickness forgiveness.

  533. Salvation from sin. Salvation from sin would be

  534. walking in that space that we'd be talking about, where we don't

  535. have to constantly have a cycle of repainting, Yeah.

  536. So thanks, victory overson. Yes, that's right, read this.

  537. This is John the Baptist. Next day John saw Jesus coming

  538. toward him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, He.

  539. Takes away the. Sin of God whoa, takes it away.

  540. Not just forgiving sin, What does he do with sin?

  541. Takes it away. He dishonoured into defeat His

  542. takes him. Amen.

  543. Listen to this. Jesus did not just come to

  544. forgive sin, but to set us free from sin.

  545. He did not just come to doubtful forgiveness of sin.

  546. He came to set us from our sins. In other words, He came to set

  547. us free from sin and its control over us.

  548. Since pollution of us, since poisoning of us, since presence

  549. in us, since imprisonment of us, since pleasure in our fleshes,

  550. since power over us, since tendency in us, The punishment

  551. due to us because of sin and the penalty hanging over us.

  552. Jesus deals with it all. Isn't that amazing?

  553. Romish Chapter 8 first 2014 Therefore, brothers, we have no

  554. obligation, say no obligation, no obligation to the simple

  555. nature, but we have an not to. We have an obligation, but it is

  556. not to the simple nature to live according to it.

  557. For if you live in court, the simple nature, you will die.

  558. But if by the Spirit you put to death the mistakes of the body,

  559. you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are

  560. the sons of God. Remember the two things, You got

  561. an option. You can live to the flesh, but

  562. you've got no obligation to it. Or you can live by the Spirit.

  563. And if you live by the Spirit, you will live.

  564. And you can buy the Spirit put to death to flesh.

  565. And then are you with that? OK, now what's up?

  566. 1 John 381 John 3/8 He does what is simple is of the devil

  567. because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.

  568. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the work

  569. of the dead and the God of peace will soon crush Satan and your

  570. feet to Romans. All right, why was the reason

  571. that Jesus appeared to destroy the works of the devil in your

  572. life? All right, so go back to this

  573. thing, the picture of the plant, OK?

  574. It's a progression. There's a progression this.

  575. I'm going to read this to you. One, John 2, verse 12 to 14.

    John 2:12–14

  576. OK, so in John 1 two verse 12 to 14, he mentions children, young

  577. men, fathers. OK, he mentions them both twice

  578. and for the sake of the teaching, I'm going to jump

  579. around in the Scripture. So in one John 2 verse 12, it

    John 2:12

  580. says I write you to your children.

  581. Why? Because your sins have been

  582. forgiven on account of his name. On what basis us since forgiven

  583. Jesus on the account of what Jesus did for us, who he is and

  584. what he did for us. Amen. 13 BB means the second

  585. offer, verse 13. I write you to your children

  586. because you have known that Father.

  587. Now I want you to understand this when you're a baby Christ

  588. in Christ as the people get saved, that there are two vital

  589. things that you as a leadership team must work on getting the

  590. children to understand. What is it?

  591. One, they have been forgiven of their sins because of Jesus's

  592. work on their behalf. That's the seven foundations we

  593. looked at. Salvation is not of work that

  594. any man should boast. It is that the kiss of God,

  595. who's God there? It's the gift of the Father and

  596. they so that's the first thing we must know that Jesus's work

  597. on their behalf to forgive them of their sins.

  598. And then I want to ask you this question.

  599. Remember, you were bought at a price, the precious blood of

  600. Jesus. And then maybe we read that in

  601. in, in, in Revelation chapter 5. Jesus work on your behalf versus

    Revelation 5 chapter mention

  602. your sinfulness. I want to ask you a question my

  603. friend. Do you think there's ever going

  604. to be a day in heaven when you come before the Father and you

  605. say, Lord, I'm sorry and I'm forgiven and then I've sinned

  606. again, I've fallen, please forgive me.

  607. Then he looks at Jesus, his perfection, his blood shit for

  608. you, his body broken through the cross.

  609. The Father looks at Jesus and says Jesus, sorry, the anchor

  610. just crossed the line. Person is bigger than your

  611. blood, person is bigger than your body broken.

  612. You think there's going to be a day like that in heaven?

  613. There's never going to be a day like that in heaven.

  614. Never once when your sin is going to be bigger than Jesus,

  615. work on your behalf. Forgive me of your sin.

  616. What does that mean? Now this is a silly

  617. illustration, but it's a beautiful illustration.

  618. You know the rock past my rock, right?

  619. We've built on the foundation of Christ.

  620. So you score this score. I can't fall further than this

  621. floor. I can't fall further than this

  622. floor. What does that mean?

  623. This is what it means. You cannot fall further than

  624. Jesus. Satan could push you Satan back.

  625. He could back you up against the wall.

  626. You can't fall further than the wall of Jesus Christ.

  627. Jesus stands there, there's a defence for us and he says you

  628. belong to me. I bought you with robot you are

  629. mine. You can't fall further into

  630. Jesus. He's shielding you.

  631. You are shielded of faith in the son of God.

  632. That's the least that can happen.

  633. That's the the worst that can can happen to you is a believing

  634. Christ. You've fallen across your

  635. rocket. You've fallen him in a broken

  636. that's all you're not going to be in.

  637. I like it because you've put your faith in the son of God.

  638. I write you because you have since are forgiven on account of

  639. his name and you must know the Father What must what does that

  640. mean my friend Karen when Jesus was baptized Karen, what did God

  641. say to you are my son, you are my daughter.

  642. I love you with you. I am well pleased.

  643. Exodus. God appears to Moses on Mount

  644. Sinai, proclaims the name of the Lord, the Lord, the Lord,

  645. gracious and compassionate God, abounding in love, abounding in

  646. grace, and coming up to thousands forgiving wickedness,

  647. rebellion and sin. Yes.

  648. Do you know the Father? Do you know that your sins have

  649. begin forgiven? I can't understand.

  650. And do you know this running Father?

  651. Let me tell you this, my friends, God is pleased with

  652. you, your personhood, who you are in Christ.

  653. He's not always pleased with your decisions.

  654. He's not always pleased with your mind, He's not always

  655. pleased with your emotions. He's not always pleased with

  656. your will, but with you, his son, his daughter, who you are

  657. in Christ. He always loves you, He's always

  658. pleased with you, and you belong to Him.

  659. Separate your identity from your behaviour.

  660. Same with your children. Don't ever say to your children

  661. you're a bad child, you're a naughty child, you're a pathetic

  662. child. That's you cursing your

  663. children's identity rather than you say you got a mistake, your

  664. behaviour was not good. I love you, but I don't like

  665. what you're doing right now. You separate the identity and

  666. behaviour. We talk about the forgiveness of

  667. sin. Amen.

  668. OK, so writing to children because you're forgiven on

  669. account of his name and you've known the Father first level of

  670. Christianity, this level up here, this is this.

  671. I'll ask you young men, because you've overcome the evil one.

  672. What? When you've overcome the evil

  673. one in the Bible, what are you, you just a young man?

  674. I'll ask you young man, this is 14 B.

  675. Because you are strong. The word of God lives in you,

  676. and that's how you come overcome the evil. 1 How do you become

  677. strong in the faith? You need to be rooted in the

  678. Word and you need to be rooted in the Spirit.

  679. And then so you need to allow the Word of God to renew your

  680. mind and you need to allow the Spirit of God to empower you so

  681. that you can be strong in the Lord of this mighty power.

  682. And that's how you overcome the Lord.

  683. I'm going to show you that in a moment.

  684. And then last thing, fathers, I rush you, fathers, because you

  685. have known humans from the beginning.

  686. I rush you, Father, because you have known him from the

  687. beginning. That's interesting for me there.

  688. I'm asking your children, because you've known the Father,

  689. what's the difference between the Father and the one who is

  690. from the beginning? This is my take on it.

  691. When you are the Father, like the only the family, you know

  692. God is sovereign, God is supreme, God is omnipresent.

  693. God is omnipresent. God is, he is large and he is in

  694. charge. He doesn't, He cares about the

  695. people, but he doesn't care about Iran and Israel.

  696. He doesn't care about B52 bombers, nuclear wars or

  697. anything like that. God is not sitting on his throne

  698. parking his fingernails saying I didn't see this coming.

  699. He is on the throne and He is saying Project Planet Earth is

  700. proceeding exactly according to my plan.

  701. There is no scheme of hell or plan of man that will stand

  702. against the one who is. From the beginning.

  703. He planned it all. He's planned the salvation

  704. started before the world exists and it will continue after the

  705. world is finished. And that when you're a father in

  706. the faith, you have an immovable, unshakable faith in

  707. the Word of God, in the Son of God, in the Spirit of God and in

  708. God the Father, and nothing moves you.

  709. That's what is to be a Father in faith.

  710. Now of course you have to talk about ladies as well.

  711. I mean this not not to the men. Are you happy with that?

  712. Now the last couple of minutes here, I'm going to ask you this

  713. question. You know that there's 3 words

  714. for sin, just like there's a couple of words for love.

  715. You're not telling about the Greeks.

  716. There's a friendship love. There's a covenant for love.

  717. There's a sexual kind of love, right?

  718. A Cafe Eros Phileo listening, right?

  719. There's 3 words for sin in the Bible.

  720. Sin, transgressions and iniquity.

  721. Sin is you made a mistake, you fell and you sin.

  722. OK Transgressions is what Allison said.

  723. You can live in a cycle of sin. Forgive, sin forgive.

  724. How are you transgressing by this repetitive transgression?

  725. For sin you need forgiveness. For transgression, you need to

  726. hear then iniquity. Now iniquity is a little bit

  727. deeper than sin transgression. Iniquity means generational sin,

  728. generational things that attack you the same count.

  729. And they're just you see in families, gambling, alcohol,

  730. lust, there's just some families just to see the cycle of

  731. iniquity. And for that iniquity you need

  732. to live in victory. You with me.

  733. So now how do we receive forgiveness from the Father?

  734. How do you receive forgiveness of your sins?

  735. Not a trick question, it's very simple.

  736. All right, easy, confess your sins to God.

  737. You want forgiveness of sin, What must you do?

  738. Confess your sins to God. 1 John one verse 9.

  739. But if we confess our sins to Him, he is faithful and just to

  740. forgive us of our sins and to change us from all wickedness.

  741. So if you need forgiveness of sins, this is what you're going

  742. to do there, Father, I'm sorry, Justin, drive me to it again.

  743. OK, that's it. God, forgiveness of sins is that

  744. easy because Jesus was in love for you.

  745. Stop beating yourself up all the time.

  746. Oh, just as your professor, I can't believe it.

  747. I've done it again. You guys, you get depressed.

  748. You got to do this whole thing because you said no my friend.

  749. The righteous man falls 7 times. He will get up again.

  750. Please, please hurt your sin. Please hurt your enemy.

  751. He quick you forgive, forgive yourself, forgive the other

  752. person, get back on the horse. Just confess your sins to God.

  753. That's how you deal with sin. And then second point, how do

  754. you get healed from sin? How do you get healed from sin?

  755. There's a description of the Bible that says it.

  756. Who can help me remember you want to get healed from the

  757. cycle of sin? Help me, give me a scripture.

  758. James chapter 5, verse 16, verse 16.

    James 5:16

  759. Listen to this. Confess your sins to each other

  760. and pray for each other that you may be healed.

  761. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power

  762. and produces wonderful results. This is amazing.

  763. My picture. Vision, team, covenant,

  764. relationships, discipleship. My friend, you need to have a

  765. vision of Jesus so that your sins can be forgiven.

  766. Happy. But I'm afraid to be healed from

  767. sin, to be healed from transgressions, you need a bit

  768. more than just a vision of God. You need to be in a covenant or

  769. family. You need to be in a team, and

  770. you need to have covenant or relationships when you are known

  771. by someone and if someone knows you, you need to be in

  772. authority, but you also need to be under authority.

  773. Now, listen, the Catholics just got a lot of things wrong.

  774. But one thing that didn't get wrong was the confessions.

  775. But they've got a problem. They have to confess to priests.

  776. You have to confess to priests. You can confess to any person

  777. who's an authority in your life and who's you person of your

  778. life, you communist, You are communist, committed, submitted,

  779. serving and preserving. Are you with me so far?

  780. If you constituent to people, leaders or other people that you

  781. trust, you will be healed. Now, I call this negative

  782. accountability. Ask me why.

  783. Why, Bruce, do you call it negative accountability?

  784. You know why it's negative accountability.

  785. It's negative because you've already sinned and how you're

  786. dealing with the effects of the sin.

  787. The horse has bolted. It's good.

  788. It's good, it's good accountability because at least

  789. now you're going to get healed, right?

  790. But it's not good because it's not helping you not to sin.

  791. And I'll come to that in a moment, right.

  792. So do you have how relationships?

  793. How many relationships will you live in?

  794. Negative accountability? In other words, when you can

  795. confess your sins to another person?

  796. No, Jesus is a rock, right? And in One Corinthians chapter 3

  797. and verse 10 says this speak what you just read for me speak

  798. of 1 Corinthians 10, and I'm going to be closing in about

  799. about 10 minutes, but I need you to see this.

  800. If you ever ask yourself this question, how do you eat from

  801. Jesus and how do you drink from Jesus and ask yourself that

  802. question? You mean across the enemy, 1

  803. Corinthians 3, Sorry, 10, verse three, One Corinthians 10, verse

  804. 3. This is half of that.

  805. We're going to see this not aloud.

  806. And would have been made the same miraculous food and would

  807. have been drank the same miraculous food and drank the

  808. same miraculous water. Well, they all drank from the

  809. miraculous rock. They travelled and that rock was

  810. Christ, the Israelis Bible says in my truth.

  811. And Paul says, hey, the Israelis drank from the rock and I ate

  812. from the rock, and that rock was Christ, and that rock

  813. accompanied them. Have a good drink.

  814. Take a big bite. It's kind of absurd, isn't it?

  815. All right, don't worry. I'm not a good problem.

  816. Crush. Crush.

  817. What did Jesus say? Unless you drink my blood and

  818. unless you eat my flesh, you have no Pardon me now the this

  819. was so the face of this is John 6 right?

  820. We need disciples left him because they're thinking he was

  821. talking about cannibalism, cannibalism and also the part

  822. the law forbidden the drinking of blood.

  823. Am I right? What does Jesus mean unless you

  824. eat my flesh and drink my blood, you can and not part of me and I

  825. watch you guys forgiveness of sin.

  826. We need confessing your sins to the Father when you're not

  827. drinking the blood of Jesus because you're trusting the

  828. blood to forgive you this sin. But you can only be forgiven if

  829. you and bless your sins to God and say Father, cover me with

  830. the blood of Jesus. That's how you drink your sins.

  831. That's how you drink Jesus blood yes, because the power with your

  832. blood, you who has just been for God with your blood, you forgave

  833. them of their sins. Yes.

  834. Now watch out. How do you drink Jesus?

  835. How do you eat Jesus body? Let me tell you something my

  836. friends, Jesus body was broken on the cross.

  837. Yes. How hard would it be for you to

  838. find someone in this church and go to them consistently and

  839. confess your sins to them? Let's just be honest, that's

  840. going to be hard. That's going to be hard.

  841. And let me tell you, the pain of that is better than the pain of

  842. epicial sin. What do you want?

  843. Do you want pain that brings freedom because you're being a

  844. cannibal negative and you're getting sick free from sin?

  845. Or do you want the pain of psychical sin from sin?

  846. Forgiveness, sin forgiveness, sin forgiveness.

  847. But that means you've got to just like Jesus said as an

  848. example, He endured the cross His condition, He allowed the

  849. cause to break him When you allow God to break him.

  850. Will you put yourself into a powerful relationship.

  851. Will you confess You will have to confess, but I understand

  852. that you cannot break free from. I tell you how to do it in my

  853. life. There was this woman in our

  854. church and I just I had some feelings for it.

  855. I love Mara committed to Mara. We've been married for 33 years.

  856. I've never been unfaithful tomorrow, but this lady just and

  857. it was chemistry, not from, I can't say from her side because

  858. I never ever once talked to you about it.

  859. I never once brought it up and I just was attracted to this lady.

  860. Five years I struggled. I don't know what to do.

  861. I was never inappropriate, never ever crossed the line.

  862. But my friends, it was a struggle.

  863. Bruce, go speak to Marcus. Marcus.

  864. I went to Marcus and I shared it with him.

  865. I hadn't even said that, but in that confession, my friend, that

  866. thing went from A7 to A1. How it was broken.

  867. Why I confessed it to a brother. We do a thing called Victory

  868. weekend in our church where people learn to live in victory

  869. in Christ, right? And one of the things we do is a

  870. spiritual profile. And they make a list of just

  871. things in their past that are haunting them, things that they,

  872. the devil comes back into your mind.

  873. Oh, you did this, You said this. You know what?

  874. Let me tell you something. When the devil comes and reminds

  875. you of your sin and you confess it to another person, you can

  876. say to him, hey man, I brought that into the light and I

  877. confess that, and then I'm free. Many Perira, my good friend,

  878. used to say this. The power of sin is in secrecy.

  879. Listen to this. The power of this is a

  880. confession on earth. You want to get healed from on

  881. earth, confess it on earth. I don't know.

  882. I walked away from that meeting with Marcus.

  883. And I want to tell you, my friends, that condemning the

  884. lives of the devil were broken off for me because I knew.

  885. Listen, I'm taking. I'm not there anymore.

  886. I've confessed you to Marcus and I'm free.

  887. I'm I'll and I forget the second one, which means to get away

  888. from you. And then now I want to ask you.

  889. You can hear that never can do nothing for you.

  890. The way you will live in the victory of it is if you applied

  891. into your life. If you apply that into your

  892. life, you need to allow yourself to be broken.

  893. Last thing to be done. You want to know how to live in

  894. victory over sin, right? Listen to this.

  895. Did Jesus live in victory over sin?

  896. Was he seriously perfect? Yes.

  897. Was Jesus tempted to sin? Many times?

  898. Is sin Sorry? Is the temptation to sin a sin?

  899. Clearly not. All right, now watch ya.

  900. I call this positive accountability.

  901. If you learn to live in positive accountability, you will never

  902. sin and it will keep you from sinning.

  903. What do you mean, Bruce? It's positive accountability

  904. because you confess your temptation to God and to someone

  905. else. Have you ever heard that priest?

  906. Have you ever heard a priest? If you wanted to live in victory

  907. over sin, then learn to confess your temptation to the Father

  908. and to confess your temptation to other people.

  909. You will never sin. Have you ever heard that priest?

  910. Why is it positive accountability?

  911. It's positive because you have not yet sinned and this is

  912. keeping you from sinning. So here's our example.

  913. There can only be one example, the man that never sinned Jesus.

  914. How do we see this working in Jesus life?

  915. Look at me within the garden of dissent.

  916. Me quickly. Look at this Matthew chapter 26

    Matthew 26:37

  917. verse 37 or 38. He took Peter and the two sons

  918. of dearbony that James and John come along with him.

  919. And he began to sorrowful and be troubled.

  920. And then he said to them, my soul is overwhelmed with sorrow

  921. to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with

  922. me. What is he doing?

  923. He's bringing his three best bunnies on earth into his

  924. temptation and what is he asking them to do?

  925. Pray with me and watch with me. OK?

  926. Jesus brings Peter, James and John into his struggle and

  927. temptation, confessing us to them.

  928. Look at this verse 39. Going a little further, He fell

  929. with his face to the ground and prayed.

  930. My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.

  931. May John, may John, as I will, as you will.

  932. What's he doing there? He's confessing his temptation

  933. to you, Father. What's he saying?

  934. I don't want to die. I don't want to die for these

  935. scumbags. I don't want to do it.

  936. How do I think about the magnitude of this?

  937. We've heard yesterday Jesus was the Lamb of God who was slain

  938. before the foundation of the earth was laid.

  939. How long before was that conference to this Garden

  940. conference? And how much work has been done

  941. from then to you? Have you ever done a big event

  942. and your star performer wants to pull out at the last minute?

  943. How do you feel? Is the guy that organized

  944. everything? What the hell is wrong with you

  945. man? Pull yourself towards yourself.

  946. Get on with the show. Right?

  947. Am I right? Right.

  948. Jesus has got such an intimate relationship with the Father.

  949. He knows the Father so well. He knows the Father's learned so

  950. well that he has got no need to hide anything from the Father

  951. because the Father sees everything anyway.

  952. Do you think they've got honestly surprised by your sin,

  953. your temptation to sin? Oh, I never saw that coming.

  954. He just tells him, he brings him into it and he says what, what?

  955. What your what are you dealing with?

  956. He doesn't have a bad will, but he's dealing with his human

  957. will. It was a free will and he's

  958. bringing it under the Father's will.

  959. And he says, but now, Lord help, I need your help because my

  960. human role does not want to do what you want, but I want to do

  961. what you want. But now I'm struggling.

  962. There's a temptation in the truth.

  963. Help me, Father. And but he's also asking his

  964. mates on earth to say, hey, won't you guys help me?

  965. Why don't you keep me accountable?

  966. I don't want to do this. I want to do this and I need you

  967. to help me to do this. Can you see that?

  968. Now look at this irony. But Jesus and Peter knew that

  969. would never be sifted and but Jesus and Peter knew that they

  970. were going to be tempted. Peter had a perfect word from

  971. Jesus and a word of mouth to Jesus and Peter to die before

  972. the whistle cross. You're going to lie a few times.

  973. Yes, he is arrogant, religious, soft, arrogant idiot.

  974. Never Lord, I'm ready to die for you.

  975. Hallelujah. Thank God and right, that's what

  976. he says, right? It is hard, it is self right and

  977. it's arrogant and he thinks he's better than Jesus.

  978. What's he doing? He's awesome sleeping.

  979. He's sleeping and Jesus, you should be sleeping, is praying

  980. and Jesus is going to be victorious of a sin because he's

  981. confessing it to the Father and he's confessing it to his

  982. friends. And this self arrogant religious

  983. pizza who does not know it's own heart wickedness should be

  984. praying as much as Jesus. He's dosing because he trusts

  985. himself, not in God. That's amazing, am I right?

  986. Yeah, boy, yeah boy. Look at this, Matthew 2614.

  987. He returned to the sample and found him sleeping.

  988. Hey boy, wake up. Why don't you watch him before

  989. one hour? He asked Peter a little.

  990. Tony says to Peter, Peter, watch him.

  991. Pray what? That you will not fall into him.

  992. The spirit is, but the flesh is weak unless he does.

  993. Actually, Peter's flesh is too strong and his spirit is not

  994. willing enough. But his problem is that he's not

  995. choosing. He's choosing the flesh.

  996. He's not choosing that spirit. He's not accessing the Holy

  997. Spirit, the parachitos to say help me.

  998. Father, Jesus has given me a prophetic word.

  999. Jesus has said that Satan is going to betray me.

1000. Satan is going to tape me. He's going to cause me to betray

1001. Jesus. Lord, I don't want to do that.

1002. Jesus. Father God, help me, help me.

1003. I don't want Jesus words to come true.

1004. Holy Spirit, help me, empower me.

1005. He's not doing that. What self confident proud,

1006. arrogant I can do in mind stream Jesus is oh God, please three

  1007. times godfather. I don't want to I don't want to

1008. die, but I know that I have to die, but I just need your help

1009. Father God help me. Isn't that amazing?

1010. Now watch this in Luke that says this, an Angel appeared from

1011. heaven to strengthen him, an Angel from heaven and Ellison

1012. appeared to strengthen him. What does it mean, my friend?

1013. This battle that is a struggle against sin, this mastery of

1014. sin. Is it a physical one or is it a

1015. spiritual one? It's first spiritual, but it

1016. manifests in that physical. But how you overcome the

1017. physical is you must tap into the spiritual and Justin, when

1018. you call up to your heavenly Father and when you've got good

1019. mates that love you and trust you and they stand with you, My

1020. friends, that humility got opposed to the proud Peter.

1021. And he gives grace to the humble Jesus.

1022. And then he sends angenic beings to come and do warfare on your

1023. behalf. And he repeats Satan on your

1024. behalf. Resist the devil, submit

1025. yourself to God, resist the devil and he will.

1026. Why in 50 years of my life has no one ever taught me this?

  1027. I'm serious. I'm serious, guys.

1028. Why have we never had a teaching on how to live in victory over

1029. sin by hastening sin at the level of temptation so we never

1030. have to deal with it at the level of compassion?

1031. Can I tell you my testimony as I close?

1032. Forgive the vulnerability of this.

1033. I'm a nervous and I'm accountable to with everything.

1034. 10 years ago. I'm travelling in Colombia.

  1035. I'm with a friend in his lounge. He's got a bookshop.

1036. His daughter's a little bit older than yours.

1037. They pulled the books out. There's four books there, too

1038. secular, too Christian, on on sexuality and sex and all of

1039. that stuff. He's doing a series of

1040. sexuality, no problem. I've added that often and I find

1041. myself in the same lounge. No one's in the house.

1042. Guess what happens and then I'm embarrassed to tell you and I

1043. look at the book not to say not the Christian ones.

1044. Listen, temptations, my friends, that opens a door into my life

1045. before, I don't know, six years. I'm struggling now, struggling

1046. with voyeurism, struggling with this phone and the images.

1047. Not hardcore full on porn, my friends.

1048. You can find a lady with a little bikini and a little

  1049. strap. That's bad enough when you're

1050. committing adultery in your eyes with it.

  1051. Am I right? Yes.

1052. I'm just struggling with. I'm struggling with that.

1053. I'm not confident. Forgive me, Jesus.

  1054. Forgive. Can't get victory.

1055. Then that's OK. I need to confess.

1056. Confess tomorrow. I need to confess to that and

1057. also your team. I confess fine.

1058. Feel a little bit better. So not going away.

1059. I'm fighting, I'm wrestling. Then I realize this teaching.

1060. OK, how do you start to confess temptation, my friend?

1061. So I start now, I can't tell you the name of this Apostolic

1062. couple, but I'm I'm accountable to four couples like this.

1063. There are four couples in my life.

1064. They've known everything about me.

1065. The one couple her husband has struggled, he's living free.

1066. So I think that's a couple that I want to be accountable to in

1067. this year because they're going to hold me accountable.

1068. So I'm finally might tell him, hey, honestly, I'm not watching

1069. films, I'm not masturbating. I'm I'm not doing any of that

1070. stuff. But it doesn't make it right.

1071. It's wrong. But in my mind, I'm on the

1072. shallow end of the SIM spectrum of porn.

1073. Are you with me? If I'll be honest?

1074. And I was, but that's not good. So I talk to him, he talks to

1075. me. I've talked to you.

  1076. I've had a national elders. We had a national elders a

1077. couple of years ago and now I'm in the flesh.

1078. So I think this is a good time just to bring up the topic.

1079. Now I'm bringing it up. I'm volunteering it.

1080. I'm not and I'm also living in some victory.

1081. Are you with me? I'm not like I'm not.

1082. I'm not confessing sin. I'm confessing the temptation.

1083. But this auntie clamps into me. She said to me, do you realize

1084. America divorce you? Do you realize what Jesus said?

1085. If you look at the woman asking me, it's like you kill the

1086. doctor in the heart towards her. She's going off at me.

  1087. I'm telling you. I'm sitting there, I'm

1088. listening. My flesh is like, who do you

1089. think you are? What gives you the right to talk

1090. to me like that? I'm not living in this thing

1091. like this. You're coming at me like this

1092. and I'm telling you I'm getting my flesh is getting upset me in

1093. the back of my head. I'm I'm my flesh.

1094. I'm serious. I'm telling you this guy, this

1095. is what I'm telling you now. My spirit said to me, shut up

1096. and listen. This is good for you, my

1097. friends. My body is being crucified.

1098. My flesh is being crucified. I'm as read as a tomato.

1099. I'm feeling horrible. Why did I even bring this up?

1100. I'm trying a million days. But here's the thing, up until

1101. this day, I've been getting out of it.

1102. I'm confessing it and I'm getting a little action.

1103. It was the best thing she could have done to me.

1104. Thank God for that conversation this day.

1105. Let me tell you what. Listen, my friend, that son is

1106. coming knocking. My friend, that son comes

1107. knocking and the, the flesh instead of me wants to look

1108. because of the endorphins. But you know what image comes

1109. soon as that image, soon as that thing comes, you know what?

1110. Another image comes, this auntie, the shame, what I'm

1111. going to go through. And I think to myself, if I look

1112. at this, then I'm going to have that auntie to deal with and

1113. that auntie and that pain and that embarrassment and that all

1114. of that stuff. It's way worse than the pleasure

1115. of this thing. I'm not giving the auntie the

1116. pleasure. And I say no thank you, reject,

1117. not interested, don't like hard, you know, all the things on the

1118. social media. And then I kill the thing.

1119. And now I'm going to take my friends to this day.

1120. And I'm living in victory over that thing because I'm learning

1121. the skill of progressing temptation to send to the father

1122. and to these people. I was in America six weeks ago.

1123. I was telling a group of men just like you, this story.

1124. I'm teaching this. This thing is listening all the

1125. time. You know that you talk about a

1126. new class, then it sends you adverts for a new class.

1127. Talk about holiday. I'm going to send you that time.

1128. I'm sitting in my in my room. That thing is listening.

1129. I've heard porn, I've heard this stuff.

1130. Here's what it starts sending me suggested videos.

1131. I know you know what the video is before you push play, am I

1132. right? And I look at this thing and I I

1133. cannot believe it. I go and defeat boom, boom,

1134. boom. The first chance I get.

1135. Mara, please pray for me, love. I do this talk.

1136. This thing. Can there can.

1137. I'll be honest. There's something in me that

1138. said go for it. But there's another thing.

1139. Oh, no, don't go for it. How do you deal with it?

1140. You tell Mara. I told her the next morning.

1141. I'm preaching like this weekend. I go to them before my preacher.

1142. There's two of the men there. I say guys, I just want to be

1143. honest with you. I need to confess to you.

1144. Last night in my room, this video came up.

1145. Thank God I didn't look at it but I was tempted but I didn't.

1146. I spoke to my wife this morning. But I'm telling you 2 guys

1147. because I want to this weekend. I don't want nothing to distract

1148. me. Pray for me my friend.

1149. Why? Look, I'm not so good, but in

1150. that moment, my friend, I adapted to heaven and heaven's

1151. resources. And in that moment, God says

1152. angelic help. He says people help.

1153. Lastly, guess what happens when you're honestly, you're better?

1154. Your mate, you said to me, but there's a hot secret here at

1155. work, OK? She's got these long fingernails

1156. and sometimes you're out in my back and I love it.

1157. And I'm tempted when you talk about that.

1158. You know what you used to realize I don't want to do that.

1159. I've got to tell the secret to get away from me.

1160. I've got to tell the secret to touch me again.

1161. When you speak like that, immediately the mystery of sin

1162. and the of it goes out the window because you're speaking

1163. about but that's in your mind. It's all fantastical.

1164. But when you speak to another brother and he says to you,

1165. what? Think about this, think about

1166. that. What about this and he holds you

1167. accountable with the power just goes like us.

1168. Will you be put up that first time I've done Will you be this

1169. my friends, Will you be a strong hand based church which is a

1170. community of love that will walk in forgiveness of sin even from

1171. sin and in freedom from sin as you so that you can reach the

1172. nation to the interview of the gospel.

1173. The world is looking for hope, not just forgiveness of sin, but

1174. to live in freedom of every sin. You are how we carry that hope.

1175. Thank you for joining us for today's message.
