  1. Welcome to the podcast of the White Church in Adelaide, South

  2. Australia. Good morning.

  3. We missed you guys last week. So we were up in Balaclava,

  4. which is great, visiting Josh and Rosie Bench who were here

  5. back in July and their church, Lighthouse Church.

  6. And so that was absolutely amazing.

  7. We loved being with them. It was a bit of a tumultuous

  8. time with our children and sickness and injuries and all

  9. stuff like that. But we had a great time

  10. nonetheless. And certainly on the Sunday

  11. morning when I was standing there, like I don't think you

  12. could wipe the smile and joy off my face.

  13. Like just to be to travel an hour and a half north and it

  14. looks different, looks different to what we're what we are like

  15. here. But it carries the same DNA and

  16. it's just so beautiful for me. Like whether we travel near or

  17. far, then we can go into a church and even though it looks

  18. different, we sense the same DNA.

  19. Like my children, they look very different, even though they

  20. carry the same DNA. And when, when something of your

  21. DNA connects with some somebody else and kind of going, we share

  22. the same DNA, we share the same values.

  23. We share this. My kids, although they are quite

  24. different, are very similar. And there's a bond that says,

  25. Hey, we're, we're siblings in this, like we share something.

  26. And so when I'm there, I'm, I'm sharing this.

  27. I could, we had an opportunity to share a couple of things.

  28. I'm just like, it was just so good to be in a church that

  29. carries the same DNA. And so my encouragement, I

  30. guess, is to you guys, if you find yourself travelling around

  31. within our state or even across our country, some of us are

  32. going to the global equipment in a couple of weeks.

  33. Like see if you can find a church with the same DNA, Like,

  34. because there is something that will happen inside of you when

  35. you, when you're there that you'll kind of go, man, like I'm

  36. filled with joy because I found, I found some, some DNA.

  37. And so for me, it was such a great time.

  38. I really desperately want to do it again.

  39. I'm super excited. Next week, I won't be here

  40. again. So I'm here and then off again

  41. to the global equip. There's a few of us that are

  42. going. So what we're going to do this

  43. morning is I'm going to share for a little bit, but we're

  44. actually going to then bring the kids back in and just ask those

  45. people, what are they actually expecting God to do for the

  46. global equip? Because I think it's cool that

  47. we actually all stirred in our faith, right?

  48. Whether we are going or not, there's something that God wants

  49. to do, right? God has something not just for

  50. those who are travelling, but for those who are staying over

  51. the next couple of weeks. We're actually what I would call

  52. out to be in Ephesians 4, gift is going to be ministering here

  53. while we're travelling as well. And so we're all going to be

  54. receiving something of a translocal Apostolic ministry

  55. input into our context as individuals and as a local

  56. church and globally. And I believe God really wants

  57. to do something in that time. And that's what I want to kind

  58. of talk around this morning is kind of going, what could God do

  59. over the next couple of weeks? Like as people are travelling

  60. and stuff, some of our meetings are going to be cancelled just

  61. due to numbers. But what could God do if as, as

  62. people of this local congregation or as people are

  63. gathering in South Africa, what could God do in the next two

  64. weeks? And so if you turn with your

  65. Bibles, we're going to be reading from the NIV this

  66. morning. I have one verse, I tried to

  67. find others and there are others, but I just, I couldn't

  68. move on from this verse. So I really want to focus here

  69. in the book of Ephesians. Ephesians tends to have a bit of

  70. a theme all the way through it and that's the theme is a broad

  71. theme of the church. But Ephesians chapter 3 and

    Ephesians 3 chapter mention

  72. verse 10, I believe it's going to come up on the screen as

  73. well. His intent, God's intent was

  74. that now everyone say now, now, now that now this book was

  75. written 2000 years ago, but that now is still now, right?

  76. It means exactly the same in the old Greek that it means in

  77. English means a Now His intent was that 2000 years ago now his

  78. intent was that also now through the church, the manifold wisdom

  79. of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in

  80. the heavenly realms. The manifold wisdom of God

  81. through the church. So God's intent, his intention,

  82. his plan, his, his idea is that through the church, the manifold

  83. wisdom of God should be made known.

  84. The manifold wisdom of God. If you consider that like that's

  85. not like man's wisdom making a good decision.

  86. This is everything of who God is.

  87. Like it's manifold, it's multifaceted, it's it's

  88. multidimensional, it's incomprehensible.

  89. This is his character, this is his nature, this is his purposes

  90. and his plans. And God says, my intention is

  91. through the church, I'm going to reveal that to the world.

  92. My intention, my plan from the very beginning, it actually goes

  93. on in in verse 11, we won't read it, but he actually goes on and

  94. goes, this is according to the eternal purpose of God.

  95. So from the very beginning to the very end, God's intention is

  96. that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God, his

  97. character, his nature, his plans, his purposes, who he is,

  98. what he is like what he is up to in the earth.

  99. His intention was that all of that would be revealed through

  100. the church. Doesn't that excite you about

  101. the purposes and plans for the church?

  102. Like if you consider that and you're like, that's what we are

  103. saved into, right? We, we talk about some of the

  104. stuff that we are saved from. And we'd spoke about that over

  105. the last couple of weeks about that we are saved out of hell

  106. and, and darkness and stuff like that.

  107. We're obviously we're saved into heaven, but we're also saved

  108. into this thing called the church.

  109. And when you get saved into the church, you get this God's

  110. intention. The minute you were saved and

  111. added into the church, his intent was that you would reveal

  112. the purposes and plans of God, his character, his nature.

  113. You would put that on display for the world around here.

  114. Doesn't that excite you for the mission of the church?

  115. Doesn't excite you for the future of the church?

  116. And so my, my headline question that I want you to consider all

  117. the way through over the next few weeks, because I'm, I'm

  118. actually believing God could do something really significant

  119. over the next two weeks. As people are travelling, as

  120. we've got global equipments, we get ministry here as well.

  121. Like what would happen if a church or if we as a people

  122. called God's intention, not just his attention, but his

  123. intention. What would happen if we caught

  124. his intention for us in this next season?

  125. And I want to talk just a little bit around what what what is the

  126. church look like? Because I think sometimes we can

  127. go, yeah, that's great for the the way church or that's great

  128. for different things. But in Scripture we actually we

  129. kind of see four different expressions of church.

  130. And the reason I want to highlight this is because kind

  131. of all four are relevant and all four God's intentions stays the

  132. same. OK Are you following?

  133. Yeah. Yeah.

  134. Cool. And so for the first, the first

  135. one, which is probably the most obvious, this is talking about

  136. God's big global church, right? But the first expression that we

  137. see is the individuals and families that God adds into his

  138. global church. As I said earlier, the minute

  139. you are saved, you're part of his capital C church.

  140. You are added into the family of God.

  141. And so if you can now place that Scripture as an individual

  142. intention of God over your life, an individual intention over

  143. you, individually over your family, God's intent was that

  144. through the church, individuals and families, he would reveal

  145. the manifold wisdom of God. What could God do if in the next

  146. two weeks he revealed to every single individual and family in

  147. this place his intention for their life and for their season?

  148. What could God do if you say God show us your intention and we

  149. caught it, not just we shot, He showed it.

  150. But what if? What would happen if we all as

  151. individuals and families caught God's intention for our life?

  152. Tell you what, this place would look radically different if we

  153. all caught the intention of God as an individual's and his

  154. families. Like that would change.

  155. Probably the way that I govern my family and lead my family

  156. will probably change some of the ways I approach things like work

  157. and whatever. If I said, hey, God, what is

  158. your intention for me coming out of the next couple of weeks?

  159. What is your intention for my family?

  160. What do you want us to do? And so the first expression, I

  161. think that the relevance of this statement is as the individuals

  162. and families. And so I'd encourage you over

  163. the next few weeks, can you pray individual family?

  164. What is it that God, what's his intention for us in this season?

  165. All right, the next expression we see in the the Scriptures is

  166. like local congregations or what local, what we would call local

  167. churches, like groups of people gathering together, right?

  168. So we've got one here. As I say, we call them local

  169. churches. They're more like congregations,

  170. like what would happen if it's a congregation we call God's

  171. intention for us as a congregation for the next

  172. season. What does God want to do with

  173. the way church in the next season and all of us committed

  174. and saying, hey God, what is your intent for us?

  175. And let's catch it because I don't want to miss that.

  176. If his intent was that through us, he would reveal the manifold

  177. wisdom of God. I'll be like God, show us what

  178. that looks like for our next season.

  179. Show us what that looks like coming out with all of this

  180. input and all of this stuff. Show us what you want us to do

  181. as as a group, as a congregation, as a lampstand in

  182. this area. What is it you want to do, not

  183. just for me, but for us? And so we've got those two

  184. expressions. The third expression, which I

  185. think just lifts our eyes a little bit, we kind of go micro

  186. to kind of the macro expression, right?

  187. So the next expression we see in the Scripture is the Church of a

  188. city or a region. So Paul writes and he says to

  189. the church in Galatia, which is a region, or to the church in

  190. Ephesus, that's the city, to the church in Rome, right?

  191. We have churches that we partnership partner with across

  192. the city. And there's other churches in

  193. this city as well, right? What would happen, What could

  194. God do if the churches in this city all caught God's intention

  195. for the next season? What could God do?

  196. Even just the four churches that partner with NCMI, what could

  197. God do? He turned the world upside down

  198. with 12 men, 1111 men. What could God do with four

  199. local congregations or with the hundreds of churches, hundreds

  200. of congregations meeting across our city?

  201. What could God do if we all caught his intention for our

  202. city in this next season? So I'm praying, hey, God, reveal

  203. to us what you want to do in our city and in our state, in our

  204. region, because he he's he has an intention.

  205. We just read it. God's intent.

  206. So God, I want to catch your intent, right?

  207. And the fourth expression that we see is this, this expression

  208. of what we would probably call translocal ministry or Apostolic

  209. ministry, which we see in Acts chapter 13 to 15, two chapters

    Acts 13 chapter mention

  210. there at the beginning of Acts 13, that the prophets and

  211. teachers are together and the Spirit comes and tells them, set

  212. apart Paul and Barnabas for the work of that I've called them to

  213. and they pray for them and they send them out with a purpose.

  214. And that is to visit various local congregations, various

  215. cities and actually reveal to them God's intention.

  216. And so the word translocal literally means across or

  217. between the local, like transatlantic going across the

  218. Atlantic. And so there NCMI, which is a

  219. group that we partner with New Covenant Ministries

  220. International, there are other teams doing a similar work, but

  221. this is a trans local team. And it's an expression of God's

  222. church. Because not only is God's

  223. intention as an individual or family or not only is God's

  224. intention at a local congregation level, not only is

  225. his intention just for a city or a region, but he has an intent

  226. for the church global and he has an intent.

  227. And I'm wondering what could God do as thousands of people gather

  228. together with a trans local team?

  229. What could God do if we as individuals, as local

  230. congregations, as churches of cities and regions, and as a

  231. whole team, what could God do? If we say God, we want to catch

  232. your intention. I was watching a video this week

  233. and I'd encourage you to go watch it.

  234. And And to to me me it's it's exciting exciting. he's just

  235. kind of saying man what what regions could be opened up there

  236. is we prayed in our premier a couple of weeks ago around

  237. Europe and just noticed that the entire pretty well the West of

  238. Europe is untouched by the new covenant ministries translocal

  239. team they were they didn't know EE sorry no W was fine the east

  240. my apologies clearly my wife is the person of directions Clearly

  241. my wife is the person of directions the east of Europe.

  242. So towards Ukraine towards no, no, that kind of agent.

  243. Yeah, that kind of thing. Holland through that area like

  244. we went to the NCI map couldn't find any churches that partner

  245. with the trans local team that we partner with.

  246. There are definitely churches there, but what could God do if

  247. we caught God's intention for that region and there are other

  248. nations around the world that are unreached with the gospel?

  249. What could God do if all of us said God, would you reveal to us

  250. and would we catch your intention for the church, for

  251. the church global, for the Trans local team, like all of us

  252. should carry a heart to say, you know, we partner with this team

  253. and partnership means that we are invested in what they're

  254. invested in, right? It's not like the team do their

  255. thing and we do our thing and every now and then we high 5 on

  256. the way through. We're we're part of that, right?

  257. Partnership is about the work together, but it's also about

  258. the reward together. The nations that are broken up,

  259. broken into by new covenant ministries are our inheritance,

  260. right? When we when we read scriptures

  261. and say ask of me and I'll give the nations as your inheritance,

  262. there's a reality that not all of us can go to all nations.

  263. There's 190 something nations in the world.

  264. I doubt whether in our small congregation we've covered them

  265. all, but that's why we partner because of their inheritance is

  266. our inheritance. Their reward is our reward.

  267. And so as we gather over the next few weeks as individuals,

  268. as a local congregation, as a church in our region and

  269. globally, I wonder if we could just ponder and say, Hey God,

  270. what is it you want to do? What is it you want to do over

  271. the next few weeks? And what could happen if even

  272. just we caught His intention? Not just for our lives, not just

  273. for our congregation, not just for our region, but for the

  274. nations of the world. What could God do?

  275. We put that scripture back up. Ephesians 310.

  276. His intent. This is his intent.

  277. What would happen if we caught his intent?

  278. His intent was that now, now through the church, through the

  279. individuals, through the local congregations, through the

  280. regional church, through the global church.

  281. His intent was that now, through the Church, the manifold,

  282. multifaceted wisdom of God, his character, his nature, who he

  283. is, what he's like, what he is up to, all of that through the

  284. Church will be made known to rulers and authorities in the

  285. heavenly realms. What a future, what a plan.

  286. Are you not excited to be part of the church?

  287. This is one of the greatest times to be alive because of

  288. this Scripture is so true now as it was back then.

  289. His intent is that now through us, through the His church,

  290. global and local, the manifold wisdom of God will be made

  291. known. Can you say Amen?

  292. Amen. Awesome.

  293. We're going to message the kids, but why don't we pray We'll get

  294. them back in just because we want to ask some people around

  295. this question as well. Why don't we pray?

  296. And yeah, we'll bring them back. Father, we, we marvel at your

  297. intention, and it's so much bigger than we could ever dream

  298. or imagine. And your plans for your church

  299. are so much better than our plans for your church.

  300. And after all, it's your church, not ours.

  301. Your intent is that through your church, you would reveal

  302. yourself to the world. And so we say thank you and we

  303. say have your way, Lord, over the next few weeks as we are

  304. gathering and we are receiving input here locally, as we are

  305. receiving input globally as well.

  306. We pray that your intention would not just be revealed, but

  307. would be caught by those by all of us.

  308. That we would catch your intention for us as individuals

  309. and as families, for your intention for us as the way

  310. church, your intention for our city, and your intention for the

  311. nations of the world. Lord, give us a capacity to

  312. catch what you want to do and to run with it in Jesus name, Amen.

  313. Amen. Welcome back, kids.

  314. So the reason we brought the kids in is because a couple of

  315. the kids are actually going to Global Equip as well, right?

  316. And and this is trying to catch something of God's intention,

  317. right? Something of what God wants to

  318. do. Hey, shout out from the front.

  319. So we're going to, we're going to ask these guys.

  320. I'm going to maybe we've got a roaming mic.

  321. We'll we'll make this work. But I want to some things that

  322. God could do and I want you just to consider some of this as

  323. these guys share, I've asked prepped them.

  324. So I hope they're prepped. This is some of the stuff that I

  325. just wrote down that I think God could do.

  326. What could happen? Remember my question, what could

  327. happen if we all caught God's intention?

  328. And these are some of the things that I said that I wrote down,

  329. that what could happen? What could happen is that people

  330. could be encouraged, courage could be put in right?

  331. People could be excited for God's plans and purposes.

  332. Unbelievingly now as we're here, hopefully this morning you're a

  333. bit more excited about what God wants to do.

  334. We could be enlarged and expanded in our capacity, we

  335. could be emboldened, we could be envisioned, and God could

  336. expediate what he wants to do. Expediate.

  337. Here's a thesaurus I learnt alliteration from the best

  338. expediate. But just ponder that.

  339. Though I actually did write that when one in like so God could

  340. encourage, he could excite, he could enlarge, he could

  341. embolden, he could envision, he could equip.

  342. I didn't say that first time and he could expediate.

  343. In other words, things that usually take a long time could

  344. take a really short time if we gave ourselves and thank God, we

  345. want to catch your intention. Things that usually take years

  346. could take months and even days if we say God, let us catch your

  347. intention in this global time, this local time.

  348. I'll rattle those off if I can see some people taking notes.

  349. Encourage, embolden, enlarge, envision, excite, equip, and

  350. expedite. God could do something amazing.

  351. So I'm going to. So for those who don't know, for

  352. those who are going, so it's Dana, Chantel, Dave, Hilary and

  353. their kids. So we're going to actually hear

  354. from Levi, I assume. I hope we're going to hear from

  355. Levi. Yeah, yeah.

  356. Awesome. Eden's going to share.

  357. And then I'm travelling as well. So you've kind of heard mine,

  358. but you guys want to rock, paper, scissors.

  359. Who's going to go first? I want your wife to come up as

  360. well because that's cool to like you guys are travelling together

  361. and we've just spoken that God could speak individually.

  362. Yeah, yeah. So what do you, what do you kind

  363. of believe in God could do in you guys individually and as as

  364. a family over the next little bit?

  365. Kind of touched on some of them already, but like just enlarging

  366. our vision to what we're connected with.

  367. Like it's been now eight years with NCMI for me previously

  368. before that, but in this last season, 8 years and I haven't

  369. seen much of the global aspect. I've seen the kind of national

  370. aspect. And I'm I'm just excited to see,

  371. I've seen some of the leaders come through in the lodging

  372. times and they've input into my life and it's been amazing.

  373. But I just want to see the the bigness of what we're, we're

  374. involved with. And I believe that's what God's

  375. going to do in me. And then from that that I can

  376. actually start to bring with me. Am I answering the same

  377. question? Pretty much the same.

  378. I think it's just this being outside of the bubble that we've

  379. always seen, known and just getting to experience different

  380. people's stories and testimonies and just opening up myself to

  381. what God can do in and through me as a black daughter of

  382. Christ, Me as a wife, me as a mother, me as a friend in not

  383. just my own little space that I have here in Adelaide, but like

  384. opening that up and letting other people in and being able

  385. to speak into other people's lives that is over the world.

  386. Really. It's just this incredible thing

  387. that you always hear of and now you know, through the grace of

  388. God we're going to get to experience it for ourselves.

  389. And what do you guys, do you guys have any feels on like what

  390. do you believe that God could do with us?

  391. Like we're obviously there's some of us travelling, some of

  392. us staying and receiving input here.

  393. What do you, what do you feeling God could do and shift in us as

  394. a people? I had that word readiness just

  395. to be ready for the next thing. But like kind of when like you

  396. have that marathon runner with a baton, there's all this baton

  397. coming. There's this thing that God's

  398. trying to do and we're ready. We're not, we're not just

  399. standing there looking around kind of like, oh, when's it

  400. going to happen? We're in position.

  401. So I feel like God's positioning us for the next thing, whether I

  402. don't know what that next thing can look like, to be honest.

  403. But there's this We are positioning our hearts ready to

  404. receive that button. Awesome.

  405. I think for me, I'm have an expectation that it's going to

  406. spark something inside of all of us, that the nations are open to

  407. us. And for us, you know, sort of

  408. recently been birthed with Dave going to the Philippines this

  409. year. And that's just such a small,

  410. it's a big part, but it's like just the start.

  411. And I'm sort of have this heart that it's not just going to be

  412. David or Hillary or Justin and Bianca.

  413. Like it can be each and every one of us, and what that looks

  414. like is up to us individually. But like we're going so that we

  415. can come back and sort of fan into flame.

  416. This thing of God has called each of us to go into the

  417. nations and into our city and into our neighborhoods.

  418. So let's start. Which is kind of what we've been

  419. preaching on this last season anyway, but there's just going

  420. to be this like a catalyst I'm expecting to happen, yeah.

  421. Awesome. And probably the last two if you

  422. can do them combined. What are you expecting God could

  423. do? There's obviously 4 churches in

  424. this city, but there's a whole bunch in Australia and it's the

  425. Apostolic team as well. Everyone's coming together.

  426. What do you think God could do? What do you what do you believe

  427. in God could could stir up? We've had the privilege to go to

  428. a couple of the churches in Australia this year and just to

  429. hear their stories and to hear the heart behind how they

  430. planted out. We went to a new plant church,

  431. but also we talked about how did you see one out and did

  432. different locations? And I'm my heart stirred as

  433. people from those churches would actually get an understanding of

  434. what God's got for them and the regions they're in that they

  435. might even open up and plant. And I think even even in this

  436. city, we've seen now the way plan out of Kingdom life.

  437. But there's more there's more people that have got the call in

  438. their hearts, maybe not understanding what it is in

  439. here. But I know that they're going to

  440. get a revelation of, Hey, God's actually got this.

  441. And this week God kind of gave me a podcast to listen to, which

  442. is an old archive NCMI talking about bi vocational church

  443. planners. And I went, why did that come

  444. up? God, he said there are people

  445. that are disqualifying themselves to planning a church

  446. because I have to work at the same time.

  447. They may be in the marketplace, but God said, I'll actually want

  448. you to break open this region and open this marketplace for

  449. the church. So that's what I had on my

  450. heart. What was the question?

  451. Just sort of he's like, what a different route of all things.

  452. I thought maybe I got the quest. Do I, do I hear the question

  453. right? No.

  454. So what is it? The God you you've feeling that

  455. God could do in our city, our nation, and globally.

  456. I see this as a greater step into the unity that God has

  457. called for us in this city. As churches, I see us that

  458. there's different people going from different churches and

  459. we're going with the same heart and we'll come back to our

  460. different churches and bring something similar back for us

  461. all to be united and to fight for and to press on into.

  462. And I think that extends to, you know, the different regions

  463. around Australia and just that greater connection, that greater

  464. unity, that greater like I'm standing with you, praying with

  465. you, fighting with you, and for you to press on into the great

  466. things of the Kingdom. Awesome.

  467. Cool. Thank you guys.

  468. Yeah, give them a round of applause.

  469. Sure. I'm hoping like the the reason

  470. for them sharing isn't just so we can kind of go, that's

  471. awesome. You go Dan and Chantel and

  472. that's that's so that we could kind of go, man, we're going to

  473. stand with you and we're going to catch something of what God

  474. wants to do. And we're going to pray for that

  475. as well. So Dave, Hilary, Levi, Liam and

  476. Eden, wherever she is, these guys are bold, right?

  477. Are there these guys are bold taking their entire family or

  478. stupid? We're bold.

  479. Yeah. I feel like there's a little bit

  480. of ridiculousness if you're going to plant a church anyway.

  481. So we'll go with that. Like, man, it's an entire

  482. family. But what an opportunity not just

  483. for them, but for their kids, right.

  484. As we we shared earlier, like what could God's intention is

  485. not just that an individual, but it's sort of family.

  486. What could God do with a family? What could God do with a family

  487. who goes and catches his intention together as a unit?

  488. So I'll let you guys decide who's going to go first with

  489. what you believe in God to do. Yeah, through you guys and you

  490. as a family are. You going to ask us all the

  491. questions or do you want me just to like, Yeah.

  492. You can kind of do the whole thing like.

  493. All right, cool. So obviously, I mean, for us, it

  494. was never a question of whether Dave was going or not.

  495. I was pregnant, you know, when we sort of started talking about

  496. it. So the assumption that was

  497. originally that I wouldn't go with the kids and the newborn

  498. because that's crazy, right. But I've I've felt really

  499. strongly to go since last since the Australian equipped last

  500. year. And my reasons are mainly

  501. personal in that I just feel like my perspective of what God

  502. can do through his church has just been so limited to what

  503. I've seen in Australia and in the churches I've been in.

  504. And I'm really hungry just to step out and say God at work

  505. through the greater body and his Spirit working through the

  506. greater body. And without the limitations of

  507. my expectations or what I've known or whatever, I just really

  508. want to catch more of what's possible.

  509. And I know that it's, it's far beyond even what we'll see at

  510. the equip, but I just want to broaden my perspective.

  511. And then for us as a family and for the kids, I just, I really

  512. wanted to show them the bigness and how exciting it is and how

  513. many amazing friends we can make across the world and how God can

  514. can work through them and use them no matter their age.

  515. And, and yeah, just the boldness of doing something crazy and

  516. really hard. Like, I have no doubt that it's

  517. going to be full of it's family challenges, but I'm just

  518. trusting that there's a grace for it and that we're all going

  519. to be grown and that the boys will just be so excited for what

  520. they're a part of and the friendships that they can make

  521. and, and what they've got ahead of them.

  522. Yeah, so cool. What are you excited about?

  523. Liam having my birthday. Liam's going to have his

  524. birthday. Where are we?

  525. Actually, he's he's pretty excited about that.

  526. What about you, Levi? Making new friends So good.

  527. Awesome. Cool.

  528. Yeah, like we're we're excited like we're.

  529. It's hard when it's, how do you like, it's hard to be excited

  530. about something that you know is going to be difficult.

  531. But, but we are, but we are excited.

  532. We are genuinely excited. We decided to go not because it

  533. was easier, but because it was important for our family.

  534. You know, like if we, we say a lot of things as the church, we

  535. talk about generations, we talk about a bunch of stuff and then,

  536. well, taking the kids is too hard or just go on our own.

  537. We just, we have to live out what we claim to believe and

  538. what we say. And so we want to be about the

  539. generations. We want to see our kids raised

  540. up beyond ourselves and carry this thing after we're long

  541. gone. So that starts with us, You

  542. know, as leaders, we we want to example to to us as a church

  543. that we we do things that are difficult because it's again,

  544. it's the it's what we're called to do.

  545. It's what we need to do. It's it's yeah.

  546. So personally, like I'm, you know, I'm pretty honest with you

  547. guys. I need to grow up like I need to

  548. be a better husband. I need to be a better father.

  549. I need to be a better leader in the church.

  550. I need to be, I need to be a better person.

  551. You know, I need to serve the Lord better.

  552. You know, like I got some growing up today.

  553. I'm content with where God's got me, but I'm not content with

  554. where I would like to be in terms of serving him and

  555. displaying him. He's so good.

  556. Like he is so perfect and and I want to be like him And, you

  557. know, we got a long way to go. So we want to grow as a family.

  558. We want to grow in our marriage. We want to bring something back.

  559. The other thing that I'm really excited about is the adventure

  560. of this. You know, I'm going with with

  561. these guys and with Justin, you know, and the anchor into the

  562. future. Like we're, we're doing this as

  563. a team and there's such a sense of excitement in that to go on

  564. an adventure with, with God and to grow together and to, to grow

  565. as a team, to lead this church and to come back stronger and to

  566. come back knowing each other better and, and being able to

  567. work better with one another and these sort of things.

  568. This is super important for us as a church.

  569. So I'm hoping that, you know, that I'm, I'm expecting that

  570. we're going to, we're going to see God do a work in us as, as

  571. leaders as we come back. And, and obviously, when I think

  572. about what God, you know, what we could expect for God to do

  573. beyond ourselves into the city and into the nations.

  574. It's just, it's just growth, isn't it?

  575. Like we want to see fruit. We want to see the gospel go

  576. out. We want to see the churches

  577. grow. We want to see unity.

  578. I was thinking about where it says that, you know, that they

  579. will know that you're my disciples by the way that you

  580. love one another. I think that us as a as a church

  581. around the world and in this city, and I think we do a poor

  582. representation of what love is sometimes in terms of unity and

  583. working together. I think that we're quite often

  584. doing our own thing and, you know, forgetting the fact that

  585. the church down the road is the body as well.

  586. So, yeah, just a greater display of God's love and, and that we

  587. would be, you know, successful. You know, we want to be

  588. successful and not in, in, you know, in a worldly sense.

  589. We want this church and, and the churches of this city and beyond

  590. to be fruitful to count for the Lord that, that the Lord would

  591. look at us and say that there is success there.

  592. So, yeah, all of those things. I'm sort of, I'm, I'm going fast

  593. because I know that our kids are wanting to have lunch or

  594. something. But yeah, that's OK.

  595. Yeah, that's cool. Cool.

  596. Thank you. Kind of give them a bit of a

  597. before we kind of move on. I'm going to throw it to the

  598. floor. As we've been talking, I'm sure

  599. as some of you, I'm sure you've been praying and stuff and you

  600. probably had probably not this exact question, maybe a

  601. variation of what? What is it that God could do?

  602. What are you praying into? So I'm going to give an

  603. opportunity to the floor. Does anyone want to share

  604. something? If you're like men, I believe in

  605. God could do this. Can you throw that there for a

  606. recording? Just for a recording because we

  607. are recording this. That'd be awesome.

  608. When Chantelle touched on the Philippines, when David did go

  609. over there and I would I believe God revealed about like this was

  610. just the beginnings. And because that is our close

  611. nation to God and it's I just sort of wanted to encourage

  612. these guys. Maybe they can make a connection

  613. with some of those countries that are close by because I just

  614. see that that's a there's gonna be more doors opening.

  615. So this year as a global and I'll be praying for you guys as

  616. your way, you know, and obviously anywhere in the world,

  617. but you know what I mean. It's just that that is an area

  618. that a door has opened into and it'd be really good to see what

  619. other doors God can use through this equip to open up more doors

  620. into into the Asian area. Awesome.

  621. Yep. And just also, you know, if

  622. there's any particular prayer points, you know, that anyone

  623. wants, you know? That mate, you know, obviously

  624. we can always big chat, you know, you can chat on the the

  625. WhatsApp, you know, and just share as things are going along.

  626. Which would be really good. So we know what how to be

  627. prayed. Awesome.

  628. Good, Michael. Hey mate, just picking up on

  629. what? You said before.

  630. About expedite, just had a. Look and a.

  631. Couple of things are really I'm looking at is helps us to

  632. facilitate his word, not only the word that's spoken to us,

  633. but the word that we speak to others through his voice and

  634. I've put in my. Notes here for myself and Karen

  635. to. Says what is God's?

  636. Intention for me and Karen in our next season.

  637. Praying to this. And listen and catch his

  638. intentions. Is what you said not only going

  639. to help us to facilitate things in our life, but in others as

  640. well and help us to grow in the word of God, not in the the word

  641. of Satan, because that is more important in our life than

  642. anything else. So I really want to thank you

  643. for that expedite. That was a fantastic word.

  644. Anyone else like this? This is ours, Eliza.

  645. To all of you who are going at the beginning, when we first

  646. came in and God said to me, it's time.

  647. And so I went, time for what? I'm excited, you know, I know

  648. I'm excited, but the excitement is being gathered together as a

  649. family and that's how it should be.

  650. And so I said to him, time for what?

  651. Well, whose time? It's your time.

  652. It's your guy's time to now go where he is going to send you.

  653. And it's our time to be able to pray for you so that when yous

  654. come back, yous will be able to share with us all of what you're

  655. experiencing. And what we are going to pray

  656. for is what the answers are going to be when yous come back.

  657. And so listening to you, Justin, in the way that you preached.

  658. And God has got covenants in his word to be able for yous to take

  659. with you and also for us to be able to pray into.

  660. And the covenant he gave me was in the beginning I created the

  661. heavens and the earth. So now the beginning is for yous

  662. to go across and find out what God has for you to bring back to

  663. us so that we can then have a covenant together to be able to

  664. walk in that and go in that. And the the biggest thing of all

  665. is having unity. And that is the biggest thing of

  666. all that we can have is to be able to unite together, walk

  667. together and be able to do this together.

  668. And yeah. And so I hope that's encouraging

  669. for yous because it's going to be encouraging for us who are

  670. left behind to be able to pray over yous and see what God does.

  671. And he is going to do something because it's time.

  672. Yeah. Anyone else?

  673. As I'll quickly go, do you have something?

  674. I had this this morning. It's Ephesians 1 and it was

  675. verse 18 that really stood. Out and it said I.

  676. Pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, in

  677. order that you may know the hope of which you have called, which

  678. He has called you, and the riches of the glorious

  679. inheritance in the Saints. And as we were talking.

  680. About the global equipment, we are part of that inheritance and

  681. I just thought that was really what highlighted in this that

  682. the heart, our hearts will be enlightened also in the fact

  683. that you guys are going and we're going to be here and we're

  684. all going to receive from God. Yeah, I.

  685. Just wanted to quickly add, like each of you that are going, it's

  686. not by accident that you're going like you're going because

  687. somebody else that's going need something from you.

  688. So actually what you guys can go to encourage like, yes, we're a

  689. small little local congregation here and there's other churches

  690. that will be there that are like huge, but God's got something

  691. for you guys to take with you to give to those nations and to

  692. give to those churches, whether it's at the equipped, whether

  693. it's on the flight on the way there, whatever it like God's

  694. got something for you guys. And then for us as well.

  695. Like these guys won't be with us, but I'm actually expecting

  696. that God will open up ways for us to be used in ways that we

  697. haven't noticed before. Maybe just because we're used to

  698. other people doing it or or but God will actually in US, grow us

  699. into to see things differently and to be used in a different

  700. way that we might not have been used before.

  701. Amen. Amen.

  702. God has great things for us as a people.

  703. God has great things for us as individuals, families, He has

  704. great stuff for us as a church, great stuff for our nation,

  705. great stuff in our togetherness, right?

  706. He has a high intention and then I want to be people that catch

  707. that intention. Amen.

  708. Do you have? Talk a bit about the

  709. practicalities. Oh.

  710. Yes. So we'll were you going?

  711. To cover that or no? No, we can land.

  712. Then we'll talk practicals. Is that cool?

  713. Then we'll land it from there. So I just want us all if we can

  714. like and we'll maybe we can quickly pray for these guys that

  715. are going, but I wanted to pray for us as well.

  716. All right, this as much as we are going and there's some

  717. saying, as I said, we have input here.

  718. There's something for us to catch that God, we would catch

  719. his intention all of us. So Father, we thank you for

  720. those that are going. We thank you for these next few

  721. weeks. We thank you for your plans,

  722. your purposes. We pray your protection upon Dan

  723. and Chantelle, your protection upon the pounders as they fly

  724. out, your as even Bianca. Pray that you would give us all

  725. something as we travel to actually impart into another

  726. nation. Father, those we we were sharing

  727. around divine connections. You would bring those divine

  728. connections as we spoke about enlarging an expediation.

  729. We pray God, you would do these things.

  730. We commit these things. We don't think they're just our

  731. ideas of what you want to do, but they are part of your idea

  732. of what you want to do. And so we want to say yes, Lord,

  733. come and do these things in us, through us, in Jesus name, Amen.

  734. Thank you for joining us for today's message.
