  1. Welcome to the podcast of the White Church in Adelaide, South

  2. Australia. So I think a few weeks ago, just

  3. before a time like we shared about the presence of God, that

  4. God can do more in a moment of His presence than He could do

  5. through any number of hours of preaching.

  6. As much as we're going to hear from Dave this morning, these

  7. moments with God, he can do so much more in our hearts and so

  8. much more through us and, and he can say stuff and minister to us

  9. way more than any man. He is the lover of our souls.

  10. Hey, how cool is that? Father, we thank you for Dave as

  11. he steps up to preach this morning.

  12. We thank you for your word as we've sung it, we're going to

  13. hear it spoken. It's the same word.

  14. It's the same God speaking to us.

  15. And so we open our hearts wide for the word this morning and we

  16. pray that you would use Dave mightily in this place.

  17. In Jesus name, Amen. Can I just, can you come to

  18. share that word that you brought this morning?

  19. So Peter support a word that he'd felt in the law this

  20. morning. And I just asked him to share

  21. that now because it's just, you'll see how relevant this is

  22. to this morning. OK, so this morning I was going

  23. through and just asking God what we need.

  24. You know, what do you want to share this morning?

  25. And he actually led me to Psalm 113 and it was similar, similar

  26. to what I was preparing for music wise.

  27. But it starts at verse 5 and it says who can compare with God,

  28. our God, so majestically enthroned, surveying his

  29. magnificent heavens and earth. He picks up the poor from out of

  30. the dirt, rescues the forgotten who have been thrown out with

  31. the trash, seats among them the honour guests and places the

  32. honour of among the brightest and best.

  33. He gives childless couples a family and gives them joy as the

  34. parents of children. Hallelujah.

  35. Amen. Thank you, Pete.

  36. How wonderful is our God, the things that he does, the things

  37. that he's doing. You know, I just, even just

  38. before I start, I just want to remind us like we've sort of

  39. spoken about this. The Holy Spirit is here.

  40. How do we know that the Holy Spirit is here among us right

  41. now? Because, because the, because

  42. the word says, right. Even if you can't feel it, even

  43. if you can't experience it in some way, if you, if you're

  44. unaware, the word says that the Holy Spirit will come and

  45. indwell and live inside us. And bunch obviously bunches of

  46. other scriptures is talking about his presence and the

  47. things that he's there doing. He's here today and we, we

  48. honour him. We honour you, Lord Holy Spirit,

  49. you are God and we give our attention to you knowing that

  50. you are here, knowing that you are within us, knowing that you

  51. are speaking, that you are leading, you are guiding, you

  52. are teaching. You've got a lot to say this

  53. morning and I pray that you would speak through me.

  54. I pray that you would take over this vessel and use me for your

  55. plan and for your purpose. I don't want to speak out of my

  56. own authority. I don't want to speak out of my

  57. own resources. Lord God, we want to hear from

  58. you today and we pray that you would help us just to open

  59. ourselves up wide to to catch and to hear and to be put in

  60. motion for the plan and purpose that you have for our lives and

  61. for this church. Lord in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

  62. So we've had an amazing couple of weeks with Ty and Nicole with

  63. us and the boys last week. And you know, it's, it's just

  64. been I've really enjoyed that. I hope you guys enjoy that.

  65. I've sown into this church, into our foundation and we're going

  66. to spend some time. There's there's a lot to go

  67. through, right. So in the coming weeks where

  68. we're going to be unpacking some of these things that we're

  69. feeling God's highlighting to us as as leaders here.

  70. One of the things that Nicole mentioned when when she got up

  71. on on the 1st Sunday was she talked about us as a lampstand

  72. and God had planted A lampstand here and Time mentioned a

  73. lampstand many times. What does that mean?

  74. What is a lampstand? Revelation 120 says that the

  75. seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

  76. So there's 7 letters being written to seven churches and

  77. Jesus identifies. There's a vision that John has

  78. and there's lampstands and Jesus identifies the lampstands as

  79. churches. So we understand from scripture

  80. that a lampstand is a church and this church here is a lampstand

  81. that Jesus has placed here, that this is a God thing.

  82. God put a lampstand here for a reason.

  83. Jesus himself says that he is the light of the world.

  84. Jesus revealed the glory of the Father, the things of God.

  85. He says that if you've seen me, you've seen the Father.

  86. It's like when when you see Jesus, when you understand him,

  87. when you embrace him, you, you know God.

  88. You know God's ways. Jesus has always been revealing

  89. the Father through Scripture and just, you know, reveals the

  90. things of God, God's truth and justice and mercy and grace and

  91. love, all of these things, the things that you see in Jesus,

  92. the attributes of God revealed to us.

  93. Matthew 5, Jesus says speaking to to us or to to people, he

  94. says you are the light of the world.

  95. So Jesus says I'm the light of the world.

  96. Then in Matthew 5 he speaks to people and he says you're the

  97. light of the world. Those that are saved will be the

  98. light of the world. A city that is set on a hill

  99. cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put

  100. it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all

  101. who are in the house. So let your light so shine

  102. before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your

  103. Father in heaven. Jesus calls us light and then he

  104. says that you put the light on a lampstand.

  105. Where like where lights guys, where does the lampstand go?

  106. Sorry, where? Where is the light supposed to

  107. sit on the lampstand? What is the lampstand?

  108. The church. We are supposed to be a part of

  109. the church. We are lights in, in the

  110. lampstand, in the church to reveal God's glory.

  111. The way church is a lampstand. God placed it here this time,

  112. this place here. Like it's not an accident that

  113. we're here. God has a very specific plan and

  114. purpose for this church here. He put it here.

  115. He could have put a church here. I mean, there was a church here

  116. at one point. Justin was a part of that

  117. church. But but you know, like it's in.

  118. I'm just the point I'm making is it's in this time and this place

  119. very specific. God doesn't make mistakes, does

  120. he? So for Jesus and for God to put

  121. a lampstand here is by purpose, by design, for a reason Ty spoke

  122. a lot about, I love this. I hope we caught this.

  123. I'm going to remind us of what he said.

  124. He said not God's plan for my life.

  125. My life for God's plan isn't that powerful because we're

  126. running around like I've been in church long enough to know that

  127. the biggest question that we want to ask is God, what's your

  128. plan for my life? Like that's the most important

  129. thing. We're we're talking to other

  130. people. Hey, what do you think God's

  131. plan is for my life? What's my plan for my life?

  132. Give my prayer. What's God, What's your plan for

  133. my life? We've got it upside down, right?

  134. What my life for God's plan. We're, we're supposed to just go

  135. all right, God, what's your plan?

  136. How can I be involved, right? I think it's simpler that way

  137. because now we don't have to try and work out what God's plan is

  138. for us. We just go, right?

  139. We know God's plan through Scripture.

  140. Let's go and do that thing, right?

  141. Get on with it. I think that's easier for me and

  142. I'm a simple guy. Give it to me simple.

  143. So again, if if TWC like the white church, if, if this church

  144. is your family, I just wrote it in there because it's easy to

  145. write down if it's your family and your fellowship.

  146. We got to take part. We got to we got to have a

  147. active role in the reason that this lampstand is here.

  148. We can't just be sitting on the sidelines.

  149. We can't just be doing our own thing.

  150. We have to be a part of God's purpose.

  151. Otherwise, it's not my life for his plan.

  152. Otherwise it's just again, it just comes back to what's your

  153. plan for my life in this room? God, what can I get out of

  154. church, right? Can I just like remind us that

  155. we got to understand what church is?

  156. I think that this might be one of the, the great deceptions

  157. that Satan's pulled over our eyes as believers, even we don't

  158. really understand what church is, what the church is.

  159. Churches, like it's not something that fits in with your

  160. life. Like church isn't one of the,

  161. the things that are, you know, like the list of the things that

  162. you're involved in in your life. Like I've got my family, I've

  163. got my work, I've got some hobbies, I've got church.

  164. Do you see what we do like, like church is just an activity in a

  165. list of long activities. Church is not an activity in our

  166. lives. Our lives are found in the

  167. church. And it's almost like people

  168. don't like, people have a such a skewed understanding of church

  169. now. It's almost like church is a

  170. negative thing that if I, if we stand here now and I go, church

  171. needs to be the most important thing in your life.

  172. If you don't understand what church is, you just go, Oh my

  173. gosh, like they just want everything from me.

  174. Like you've got a twisted understanding of what I'm

  175. saying, but but what I am saying, we're not.

  176. And, and hear me out, church is the most important thing in your

  177. life, not because it's a building, not because you're

  178. supposed to go to church, not because you Jesus says you

  179. should go to church because of what church is.

  180. Church is Jesus. He's the body.

  181. Sorry. He's the head of the church.

  182. We are the body of the church. You are a part of the church if

  183. you're saved, If you're a Christian, you are a part of the

  184. church. If you're not a part of the

  185. church, you're not a part of the body and you're not a part of

  186. Jesus. Those that are saved are one

  187. with Christ. They have been grafted into

  188. Israel. They've become a part of his

  189. body, a part of his family, haven't we?

  190. So that means when you understand that church is the

  191. body of Christ, you understand that outside of that body is all

  192. the other stuff that you know you do with your life.

  193. Your life is found in him in church.

  194. And again, the the word church has been so messed up that it

  195. even sounds wrong for me to say in my own ears, right?

  196. Like we're devoted to the church because we're devoted to the

  197. King and he's the head and we're the body.

  198. And you can't separate the head from the body, as Ty mentioned.

  199. Otherwise you've got a body less head.

  200. Can't really do much with a head.

  201. You might have some great ideas, but you know it's hard to get

  202. anything done with no arms and legs, right?

  203. But what's a body without a head?

  204. A body without a head is a lifeless corpse.

  205. We are a part of his body. He is the head.

  206. We're the body. We need to adjust our thinking

  207. of church. Church is not a bad word.

  208. Church is the body of Christ. It's the ecclesia that called

  209. out once. That's who we are.

  210. So you don't go to church. You are the church.

  211. You. We gather as the church.

  212. We come together as the church. It's such a joy to be together

  213. with the church, isn't it? I love being with the church.

  214. Tony, do you love being with the church?

  215. Loves it. It tells me all the time.

  216. Loves being with the church. We love the church.

  217. We love the church because it's the body of Christ.

  218. We love the church because Christ is in the body.

  219. We are seeking him first. So Ty Ty talked about the the

  220. why and the what. He talked about the why and the

  221. what and The Who and the hell. And so we're going to look at

  222. the why and the what today and the why and the what is vision

  223. for the church. Why is the church here?

  224. So let's talk about the wire. I mean, Ty covered it.

  225. We're going to talk about it again because we need to get in

  226. here. Why did Jesus place a lampstand

  227. here? Why is the church here?

  228. To glorify God, to bring Jesus his inheritance.

  229. People, the church is here as a vehicle to reach the lost to to

  230. reach people for God, that people could find him again.

  231. So Jesus is here on the earth in the body of the Christ in the

  232. form of the church. Sorry to reach the lost, to

  233. gather them together, to bring them to the Father.

  234. No one comes through to the Father but through me.

  235. That's why the church is here to gather people to God, to glorify

  236. God, to manifest God, to represent God, to show the world

  237. who God is. The church is here to take the

  238. gospel out. That's what the reaching the

  239. lost is not just here everywhere.

  240. The whole world is this harvest field that we're called to reach

  241. that the gospel would go out and gather people, gather Jesus

  242. inheritance to himself. It's why the church is is the

  243. why behind the church. It's why Jesus came, lived,

  244. died, rose again. It was all about redemption.

  245. It was all about restoring people to God the Father.

  246. God had a plan to make people in his image and fellowship with

  247. them forever and have eternal life and godliness and goodness

  248. and hope and peace and wonderful, everything wonderful

  249. you could think of God's intention for mankind.

  250. God's intention for Christ and the gospel was to restore, was

  251. to restore things that God's purpose and plan would be

  252. fulfilled ultimately. And when God's plan and focus is

  253. fulfilled forever will never end.

  254. God had a plan. Some things happened.

  255. God put some things in place to fix it.

  256. You know, not, not out of response, out of knowing the

  257. things that would happen. So ultimately God's plan from

  258. the beginning and what will happen at the end and everything

  259. in between, always God's plan. God has a plan and the gospel is

  260. fulfilling the plan of God by bringing people to him.

  261. So that's the, that's why Jesus, why the church, that's what

  262. we're here for. And so the what then?

  263. Because we're we're talking about a lampstand that is here,

  264. a church that has been put here. The what is why is this?

  265. I mean, it's kind of confusing. Is it what is this church here

  266. for? OK, it's here because of the

  267. why, which is Jesus, the what is what is this church?

  268. What is the way church doing in this location in this time right

  269. now? What is it that God's wanting to

  270. do here? It's interesting because we, we

  271. got together with Ty and Nicole over dinner and the basically

  272. the first question that Ty had for us was like, what has God

  273. called this church to do? Or what are the words that were

  274. spoken over this church? What is it?

  275. What's the what here guys? What's the what?

  276. And it was a really good question, and it's brought some

  277. clarity to us to ask that question.

  278. And can I be honest, like, for us to be in this place now, you

  279. know, coming up on two years, this has taken too long for us

  280. to be able to really nail this down and go, this is what this

  281. church is here for. So this is what we're talking

  282. about today. What is this church doing here?

  283. There's churches everywhere in this suburb.

  284. There's churches, there's a church there like next door.

  285. There's churches everywhere. So why here?

  286. And what is it that God's calling us to do differently or

  287. specifically compared to all of the other churches?

  288. And it's not about comparison like you guys are about that.

  289. We're about that. We don't care what the other

  290. churches are about. We don't need to worry about the

  291. what behind all of the other churches.

  292. We need to worry about the what, what for us here.

  293. So why here and amongst all these churches, God has given us

  294. a heart for the lost. From the moment that, you know,

  295. God had placed this desire in our heart to plant, there's just

  296. such a, you know, a stirring for those that don't know him.

  297. And this is one of the big things that is the heart for why

  298. this church is here to reach the loss, the hurting people, the

  299. heavy people, the lonely people, the broken people, the poor, the

  300. purposeless, the rejected people, those that are cut off,

  301. abandoned, mistreated, abused, those people.

  302. Can I just say something just here as well, if that's you, if

  303. you if you like you hear that though that list and you go with

  304. they're talking about me. Welcome to the club guys like we

  305. are. We are all broken in some way.

  306. We all have hurts. We all need healings.

  307. Thank God for Christ Jesus. This is the reason that we need

  308. to save you guys. So for the ones that need to

  309. come in here. Because God's called you in

  310. broken and hurting and and needing family and needing

  311. fellowship. It's not because you're any less

  312. than any of the rest of us here. It's because God's joining us

  313. together to be a family. So I just, I need to say that

  314. because there's almost a sense like when, when we make such a

  315. big fuss about, you know, the, the hurting and the broken

  316. people and we're called to reach them, it's almost like there's a

  317. separation from us and them in our minds.

  318. No, there isn't. No, we're welcoming them into

  319. the family of broken and hurting people.

  320. Amen. And God's preparing us to be

  321. able to take care of these people and knit them into

  322. family. So one of the things that we

  323. said when when we were planting was that we didn't want to grow

  324. through just, you know, people coming from other churches.

  325. And I still believe that to be true.

  326. It can't just be that we need well equipped people to come.

  327. So we're calling those people in as well.

  328. We need the seasoned. We need those that are mature.

  329. We need those people to come as well.

  330. But we want to see growth through, you know, through fruit

  331. and through reproduce reproduction.

  332. We want to see people saved. If the church isn't seeing

  333. people saved, it's not really growing.

  334. If people are just coming from this church and being a part of

  335. this church, and then all of a sudden 50 people from that

  336. church and 100 people from that church.

  337. And yeah, now my church has got 1000 and none of them were saved

  338. because of the gospel. Is that church?

  339. Is that a fruitful church? Is it getting on with the thing

  340. that that God's calling us to do?

  341. We want to see salvation. We want to see people coming

  342. from having absolutely no reference point of who God is to

  343. coming to us as a people and seeing him and receiving him.

  344. And then those people we're called to raise up and send.

  345. Those people were called to raise up and send.

  346. This is a, this is a plan. This is the purpose for the

  347. church. This is the what for this

  348. church. It's not good enough for us to

  349. just see a whole bunch of bunch of people saved and then send no

  350. one. We need to be raising people up.

  351. That's what discipleship is. It's raising people up into

  352. maturity and then sending. We need to be a sending church.

  353. I just want to read through some of the prophetic words that were

  354. spoken over us as a church, just in light of this heart that God

  355. has for us as a church. So Jeremiah 3313, I'm going to

  356. read all of it, but it starts with this.

  357. And this really spoke to me when I was reading this, you know,

  358. over a year ago. It says, in the cities of the

  359. mountains, in the city of the veil, in the cities of the

  360. South. And I really felt like that was

  361. God speaking to us for the here it says, the flocks pass again

  362. under the hands of him who telleth them, Behold the days

  363. come, saith the Lord, that I will perform a good thing which

  364. I promised unto the House of Israel, unto the House of Judah

  365. in those days. At that time I will cause the

  366. branch of righteousness to grow up unto David and he shall

  367. execute judgement and righteousness in the land in

  368. those days shall due to be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely

  369. and this is the name wherewith she shall be called the Lord our

  370. righteousness. This is talking about like the

  371. flocks coming back to the Lord and righteousness and salvation.

  372. I mean this should be the call of every church right?

  373. But this is the because if this is our what if this is what we

  374. need to be focused on the the vision for this church, then

  375. setting the, the The Who and the how needs to come out of this.

  376. OK, then who's going to be involved in seeing this come to

  377. pass and how that's strategy, right?

  378. One Samuel 22. This has been on my heart a

  379. whole lot in the planning process.

  380. And since David therefore departed from there and escaped

  381. to The Cave of a dullen, so when his brothers and all his

  382. father's house heard it, they went down there to him.

  383. And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in

  384. debt, everyone who was discontented, gathered to him

  385. and he became captain over them. And there was about 400 men with

  386. him. You know, we picture, there's a

  387. picture here of David's family that my name is David, right?

  388. We're talking about Jesus, OK? We're talking about the family

  389. of God coming together. We're talking about those that

  390. are in distress and in debt, you know, those that are hurting and

  391. owing and you know, discontented.

  392. These could be people that do you know how many people are

  393. discontented with church that are believers that are at home

  394. fellowshipping on their own Somehow many those people, we've

  395. got to call those people in. They need to come in to the body

  396. of Christ. Again, we need to call those

  397. people home, right? Many of them in this area, I can

  398. tell you they're everywhere, everywhere.

  399. OK, so this is some of these people.

  400. You don't have to be an unbeliever to fit into these

  401. categories to be discontented. You could be a believer.

  402. It's, it's shocking what Satan's been able to do to the church,

  403. you know, to confuse us and, and just misguide us.

  404. It's a bit of a mess, right? But if we just get on with the

  405. plan and the purpose of God, we're just going to have to

  406. trust God to work some of these things through and be

  407. successful. Amen.

  408. As I43, fear not, for I am with thee.

  409. I'll bring thy seed from the east and gather them from the

  410. West. I will say to the north give

  411. them up, and to the South keep not back.

  412. Bring my sons from afar, my daughters from the ends of the

  413. earth. God's wanting to bring them to

  414. himself. Now think about this, right?

  415. When I say, you know, God's wanting to bring the sons and

  416. daughters, the lost, the broken, when I say he wants to bring

  417. them to the church, what do you think of?

  418. We think of a bunch of people walking through this door here

  419. into our Sunday meeting. That's what we think.

  420. That's not just what this is saying.

  421. Our lives out there are where we live as the church.

  422. God's going to put people in your path and around you that

  423. fit these categories that we're called to reach.

  424. We got to reach them. We got to trust that God's

  425. called this church to reach those people and trust that the

  426. power of the Holy Spirit will help us to do that.

  427. We just be obedient. We just go.

  428. That's, that is a hurting, broken person there.

  429. That's what this church is called to, to reach.

  430. That's the sort of people that we're called to reach.

  431. Who's going to do that? You the lamp, right?

  432. The light of the world is going to reach that person and we're

  433. going to we're going to see God set that person on the lampstand

  434. in the church. When I got saved, I wasn't a

  435. part of I was sort of saved already when when God got a hold

  436. of my heart again after I'd just ignored him for 20 years, you

  437. know, like it was like all of a sudden, you know where, where I

  438. wanted to be in the lampstand. Why is that?

  439. Because it's God's plan and purpose, right?

  440. As soon as you're as soon as my life becomes for his will, he

  441. just takes you where you need to be.

  442. So I said, Lord, I'll do anything, I'll follow you

  443. anywhere. Go good.

  444. You're going to church. You've got to go be a part of

  445. the church. All right, right.

  446. Isn't that cool? God puts you where you need to

  447. be, not your will for my life, my life for your will.

  448. All right, so I'm going to read a couple more.

  449. There was Joshua 119 this scripture or a couple of

  450. different because it says this a lot in Joshua has been said so

  451. many times to us. It's been read from the front

  452. here Joshua 19 have have I not commanded you be strong, be

  453. strong, be of good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou

  454. dismayed. Listen to this for the Lord thy

  455. God is with you wherever you go. He's with you.

  456. When you see broken people, when you know they need Christ, fear

  457. not, I am with thee. Be bold, be courageous.

  458. Our confidence is in Him, not in our ability to speak well.

  459. I'm not a great speaker, guys. I don't know if you've noticed,

  460. but my confidence is in Him. It's the Spirit of God, guys.

  461. It's not through you and me. It's the light of the world,

  462. Jesus Christ in you to them, Amen.

  463. We can do this. We just got to rely on him.

  464. See the power of the Holy Spirit do its thing.

  465. Do his thing. Excuse me, Isaiah 54 many

  466. sources. Again, this is another scripture

  467. that's been mentioned over and over again.

  468. Sing, O Baron, now that this this not bare, break forth into

  469. singing and cry aloud. Thou that this not.

  470. What version have I put in here? Thou that this not travail with

  471. child for more of the children of the desolate.

  472. Maybe I'll just read it off of you.

  473. I'm going to start again. Sorry guys.

  474. Sing, O Baron, you who have not born, break forth into singing

  475. and cry aloud. You who have not laboured with

  476. child for more of the children of the desolate than the

  477. children of the married woman, says the Lord.

  478. Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the

  479. curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare.

  480. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes for you.

  481. You shall expand to the right and to the left, and your

  482. descendants will inherit the nations and make the desolate

  483. cities inhabited. Isn't that a wonderful promise?

  484. My goodness, there's so much in that talks about children that a

  485. desolate being many like more than the children that are.

  486. Is that true for our world? Is there more people out there

  487. that aren't a part of the plan and the purpose of God that are

  488. in his body? I think there is, but there's a

  489. promise here that says that like, oh, make the desolate

  490. cities inhabited. Do we live in a city?

  491. Should we be going after this promise for our city that the

  492. city of churches would be greater inhabited by the people

  493. of God and those that aren't? I think we should.

  494. I think we should stand on faith in that and just go.

  495. Lord, let it be so. Amen.

  496. And making space for many again, not just in this room, guys.

  497. Making space for the many means making space for them in your

  498. life, freeing yourself up that, you know, I don't have time for

  499. these people. We got to make time, you know,

  500. like we're we're going to you're going to open up your homes.

  501. We have homes, invite them into your homes.

  502. We've spoken about this many times.

  503. This is one of the strategies that God's given us for reaching

  504. the law. What an opportunity guys to like

  505. bring people into your home and then get them surrounded with,

  506. with the church, get them introduced to the body of

  507. Christ, the strategies of of our Father to reach the loss.

  508. You know, and we love just to sit around and eat and have

  509. fellowship. It's one of the things that we

  510. love more than anything. And so God's given us this

  511. amazing tool to reach. And so I say all of that to say

  512. that like the gathering of the people isn't just on the Sunday

  513. meeting. We gather them together whenever

  514. we meet. We've seen guys, as Justin

  515. mentioned, we've seen guys gathered together as we connect

  516. as men, unsaved guys, and we open up the Bible and we sit

  517. there and teach and they sit there and listen, and they come

  518. back and they ask questions, right?

  519. It's so good. It's so amazing what God is

  520. doing. All right, I'm going to do a

  521. couple more. Isaiah 50, This is just Isaiah

    Isaiah 50:4

  522. 50 verse 4. The Lord has given me the tongue

  523. of the learned that I should know how to speak a word in

  524. season to him who is weary. Now Dudley spoke that over us

  525. when we were set in here. Let me read it again because

  526. this is not just for me. This is not just for Hillary.

  527. This is for us as a church, right?

  528. Listen to this. The Word of God is for us, for

  529. the body. The Lord has given me the tongue

  530. of the learned that I should know how to speak a word in

  531. season to Him who is weary. Isn't that amazing?

  532. That means that the tongue that is in your mouth is equipped to

  533. speak a word that will encourage the weary.

  534. Amen. The power of God in and through

  535. His people. Eliza gave a word to us as she

  536. was, as she was leaving, I think it was in one of the prayer

  537. meetings, she said she spoke of an influx of people coming and

  538. she said the Lord wants to give us a Moses anointing.

  539. And I was thinking about that this week.

  540. Dave Hagar prophesied over Hilary and I few years ago and

  541. and he spoke about that cry of let my people go, let my people

  542. go. God has put a cry in our hearts

  543. to let the people go to free the people.

  544. This is like the the Moses anointing is to free the people

  545. that are in bondage. That's the the what behind why

  546. we're here. God's going to back up the

  547. purpose for while we're here, I hope we're catching a sense of

  548. the vision. It's a simple thing and it's

  549. almost too simple because it's like we're just talking about

  550. the church. We're just talking about what

  551. we're called to do. But but in the, in the strategy

  552. from this, in the plans and the purposes, the things that we put

  553. in place will be in line with this and we'll trust that God

  554. will breathe on it. Amen.

  555. We've been doing something of this and some of this.

  556. And obviously you guys can think of some of the things that we're

  557. involved in and stuff like that. There's reason for some of these

  558. things, obviously. And next week we're going to

  559. talk about, we're going to talk about The Who and the how.

  560. And I'll, I'll give you the spoiler already.

  561. You're The Who, where, The Who, not your who, The Who, where,

  562. The Who. So we need to come back and talk

  563. about all right now that we know that the reason that we're here

  564. is for Christ. The reason that this church is

  565. here in this time, in this place is for the broken and then lost

  566. in this community, this city, and way beyond that.

  567. Now what? How do I fit in to that plan and

  568. to that purpose? How do I fit in to that vision?

  569. And God has a way for every single one of us, regardless of

  570. age, regardless of experience, regardless of maturity,

  571. regardless of every anything. God has a way for us to give our

  572. lives over to His plan and purpose and he will give us work

  573. to do things, to do things, to be occupied with things that

  574. will give us life when we're, you know, the, the greatest gift

  575. that we have as believers is to give ourselves over

  576. wholeheartedly to the Lord. Because when we're living in

  577. God's plan and purpose, there's no such thing as a more

  578. fulfilled life. There's guys in this room that

  579. can vouch. I've spent, I've spent lifetimes

  580. doing this. They know there was no other

  581. place we would rather be, right? No other place we would rather

  582. be but in God's will, no riches, no glory, no nothing that can

  583. compare to the fulfilment of serving the Lord God

  584. wholeheartedly. It's such an amazing thing.

  585. So I'll leave it there for now, but I just, I'm going to say

  586. this again, these words, not God's plan for my life, my life

  587. for God's plan, Amen. It's good stuff.

  588. All right, let's, if we could just raise to our feet, please.

  589. We're just going to pray. We're just going to pray.

  590. We're going to pray. Thank you, Lord.

  591. Lord God, you are so amazing. Your plan and your and your

  592. purpose is perfect. There is nothing that needs to

  593. change. The only thing that needs to

  594. change is US, Lord. The only thing that needs to

  595. change is is our understanding the things that we put first.

  596. All of those things. And Lord God, as we stand in

  597. this place, we hope or or no we don't hope.

  598. We are standing here full of faith, knowing that your plan

  599. and your purpose for this church has is taking root in our

  600. hearts. Lord, we thank you.

  601. Lord, that as we get a clear vision of why we're here, that

  602. the pieces will begin to fit together, that we would

  603. understand what it is that I'm I'm called to do.

  604. And that we can get on with it and we can run and we can see

  605. fruitfulness. Lord, we stand here believing,

  606. trusting faithfully for fruitfulness and multiplication

  607. in the way Church in 2026. Lord, we call them in Lord from

  608. the north and the South and the east and the West.

  609. Bring them in not just into this meeting.

  610. Lord, highlight those people to us in our lives.

  611. Let us see clearly those that are are are ripe for the

  612. harvest. Lord, your word says that the

  613. harvest is ready, but the workers are few call.

  614. So pray for the for the workers of the harvest.

  615. Lord, we pray that You would make us workers in the harvest

  616. this week. Today we pray that we would see

  617. your mighty power in our midst, Lord, that signs and wonders

  618. would follow the preaching of the gospel.

  619. We pray that people would be healed, set free, delivered.

  620. Lord, we pray that You would stir our faith to know that You

  621. are with us every day, Holy Spirit, that you're with us

  622. every step of the way that you are speaking, You are guiding,

  623. you are shaping us. God, that you are the most

  624. important thing in our lives. We love you.

  625. Lord Jesus, have your way here in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

  626. Excellent. Well, bless you guys.

  627. I hope that you have a wonderful day and let's be the church.

  628. The church, Amen. Thank you for joining us for
