The Importance Of Christ’s Birth / The Importance of Christmas

Do we really understand the importance of the Birth of Christ? A child has been given to us. A son has been given to us. Do we really know how beautiful it is? How important it is for a child to be born? Do we really know the beauty of his birth? Do we really understand the importance of The Birth of Christ?

Birth is a beautiful thing ordained by God. Birth brings a child to life, and all of us relate to a birth, the birth of a child, all of us. Because that child, once they are born, they bring the family together. Many people, many family members come from left to right to meet that new child who has just come into the family.

A child’s birth brings joy. It brings unity because some people might not get along. But when a child is born, it brings the family together. It brings people to make peace for the joy that this innocent child brings is amazing. It is beautifully contagious. So we feel that way. All of us, human beings, and we relate to every birth of a child.

Whether you know that child or not, when you see a baby who’s just been born, it’s a beautiful thing. And even if you’re not part of that family, you can’t help but smile at this baby who’s bringing this joy. And we humans feel this way with every baby born on this earth because they are beautiful things, innocent, beautiful things from God.

We already feel this way when natural babies are born. But now a different baby is given to us.

A son is being given to us. A child is being given to us. And this child is different from any other child. He is the most blessed child, and that child happens to be a King. A beautiful child who was The King even before the world began.

A child sent by God, the Father, for a righteous purpose. To shine among those who walk in darkness with a purpose to shine the Light in the dark world, so that many will see and not fall into the pit. So when people then refuse that Child to shine Himself, to save many from falling into the pit, then they remain in the darkness and fall into the pit after all, and are lost forever.

The importance of Jesus’s Birth is evident for every one who sees. Once a child is born, there is only one path leading ahead of them. Every child who is born is bound to go forward, to live. Birth brings life to a physical child. And that child can only live and grow and mature and become an adult and only death will remove that child from this earth.

So, our Lord Jesus was sent to us as a Child, as a Son, to be born among us because we were in darkness. That was the most beautiful thing the Lord Father God decided to do for us. The greatest blessing He could give us because He saw that we were all in darkness. And if He did not send the light to shine in that darkness so that we could see, we would be lost forever. That child came in the flesh and was born from a human mother, just like any other child, because that was the natural process to have God Himself among us. And the only path ahead of Him was to live.

Once He’s born, He lives. We have a presence among us who lives, who talks, who breathes. Before, He was breathing and talking even before... but now that we’re actually seeing Him it’s a beautiful thing. And now, He would grow and reach the age of maturity when He began a ministry. And that process brought Him to save many, especially when He died on the cross after performing many wonders. Father God, we’ve seen Him through His Son. Then He died on the cross. Death had to take Him in order for Him to go from being God in the flesh to God in Spirit. The importance of the Birth of Christ is this: without the Birth of Christ, we don’t even have the resurrection. We don’t have His death on the cross.

So this is showing us we come in this world through birth and will leave through death. But once we leave this earth through death, what is the hope that is to come? Only Christ showed the way by dying on the cross and by resurrecting from His death to show us the way, to give us the eternal hope that there is life after death, beautiful life after death.

So, all those who believe in the resurrection cannot believe in the resurrection and not believe in the Birth of Christ and the celebration of Christ’s Birth, which is Christmas. I mean, we are Christians, and it breaks my heart when I see that many Christians have stopped celebrating Christmas, at least, as the Birth of Christ. Many celebrate Christmas for their own pleasure to have more new things, but many have lost touch with reality and have forgotten what Christmas is really about.

For 20 years, I have lived in this area. When I moved into this area, I could still see the Christmas lights in December over Christmas and it was beautiful. Every year, I would just walk down the street admiring the lights. This is the physical light that brightened the darkness, symbolizing Christ’s Light, Himself, who came to shine in the darkness. And by celebrating that in the middle of winter, the light coming in the gloomy time of the year to shine... The world is wide, but the world is also gloomy and needs a greater Light, which is Jesus. And when people refuse to let Him shine Himself to show so that they can no longer be in the darkness, then the darkness remains. And being in the darkness, they are bound to fall into the pit and be lost forever. So, every year, I looked at the lights. Beautiful. In those first few years of me being in this area for 20 years. Every year I would look at them. The more time went by, the more the light diminished. No longer the light of Christmas, no longer the beautiful light that symbolized the Light of Christ.

When people know the meaning of Christmas, that is about the Birth of Jesus, at least they celebrate it within their human abilities, but still with the Lord Himself at the center in every home. In 2020, that light of Christmas has been diminishing and eventually it is no longer. I look around, there is no longer the light of Christmas shining.

In 2023, I went just to walk around, just to see how many houses still had the light that symbolized Christ during the month of December. But I didn’t find any anywhere. And I’m saying to myself, what’s happening? Why is this happening? Because many who used to celebrate the Birth of Christ no longer do. Because of the false rumors that have been said about our Lord that He was not born in the month of December. But I believe that if the Lord Himself was not born in December, He would not let us celebrate His birthday in December. For everything that is good on this earth happens when the Lord allows it to happen. And if Father God Almighty had not seen that it is good to celebrate His Son in December, He would not be letting all the Christians celebrate Him in this month of December.

So, a time has been given to us. A month of the year is being given to us to celebrate the birth of Christ. And if anyone takes that date away from the Lord, it is a huge mistake. Many will say many things. But what do you who believe in the Lord say? Many will say, ‘Christmas is not the time of the Birth of Christ. Christmas is not about Jesus.’ Many will say whatever to... defend their convenience. But what do you believers say? You, who no longer celebrate Christmas, what do you believe? If you believe that Christ is not born in December, then when? And are you celebrating His birth at that time that you’re supposed to be believing? I believe He was born in December. I believe that time of the year has been given to us to celebrate, just as the Easter time was given to us to celebrate His mightiness and His wonders and His greatness of God.

Who among us buys presents on their birthday for the guests, but the guests welcome the presents but do not turn up at the birthday celebration?

This is how we have been treating the Lord Jesus for years. He buys presents for His guests. They welcome them but do not turn up at His birthday celebration.

The Lord is not against Christmas. He is not against anyone buying themselves a present for Christmas.

But He is against anyone who removes Him from His birthday celebration. But He loves them and wants everyone to come to repentance. If Christ were against Christmas, He would be against His will.

I have cried over the years for seeing Christmas being snatched off believers and seeing many accepting it and just going along with it. That aches my heart.

I still remember how when I was growing up, I was looking forward to every Christmas because it was a beautiful time for us to spend with the Lord.

And every child who celebrated Christmas knew the meaning of it. Everyone who celebrated Christmas knew the meaning of it, and it was so refreshing to be among those who understood the meaning of Christmas about the Birth of Christ. But when I moved into this area for 20 years, I have watched every year, as even the physical light of Christmas being removed, and Christmas has become just a season for shopping to many. And Christ has been removed in most places from His birthday celebration.

So what are we going to do about this? I have never stopped celebrating, and I will always celebrate because I believe that is the time of the year that has been given to all Christians to celebrate the Lord. Let whoever wants to say whatever says, they are free to speak their mind. But what about what you say? What about what you believe?

Remember, Christ’s Birth is the most important of all births. And to all who believe in the resurrection of the dead, in the crucifixion, in the resurrection of Christ, it would not happen if there had not been, first of all, the Birth of Christ.

December. The month of December is very important. You can let anyone who don’t believe in God snatch that away from you, and you let them, and that will be a big mistake. If someone who doesn’t even believe in the Lord tells you something like this and you believe, and you who believe in the Lord, what makes you think that they are right so much that you believe what false rumors say? The same way they are wrong about God not being real is the same way they are wrong about Christmas.

Then where does that leave you? So remember the importance of the Birth of Christ is that He was born and He lived, and He died on the cross, and He rose again, giving us the greatest hope of the resurrection of the dead; that we know we all come on this earth through birth and will leave from this earth through death, but only the resurrection of the dead will give us the next hope, the hope of eternity, the beautiful hope to live eternally in the most beautiful place of all.

So, what does Christmas mean to you? Is it just for you to buy more presents and fill yourself with more things you don’t have? Or is it to remember the birth of Christ and know that it means a lot, for it marks what comes next at the Second Coming? For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish.

The Light came into the world to shine, so that those who walk in darkness will see, in order to be saved, to not fall into the pit.

Those who have stopped celebrating Christmas, it is like they have stopped also believing that Christ died on the cross, and that He rose again, and that He will Come Again and He is coming soon.

So please, for the sake of your own soul, wake up and remember the beauty that the Lord brought us, the beauty of His Birth on us, the meaning of His Birth on us, and what it does in our lives, what it does to our souls. That is the truth.

So I pray in Your glorious name, my Lord, that You continue to shine that Light, Lord, that many don’t want to see.

Shine that Light of Christmas over this season and every season of Christmas for Your Birthday no one can remove it. No one can cancel Your birth. The truth is You were born. So, I thank You for Your Birth, Lord Jesus. I thank You for the light that You came to shine in this dark world, and I thank You for everyone who has welcomed that Light and no longer lives in darkness.

For they will know soon, they did well by welcoming that Light You brought. They will know very soon that they did well by accepting that Light and letting that Light shine Himself in their lives. And I pray for those who are still in darkness, for them to wake up and see that it is indeed the case, and not let anyone who has already made up their mind to lead you astray and keep you in darkness. Because then you fall into the pit, and you’re lost forever. Listen to this and make up your own mind. The Lord came because He loves you. He loves you. And He has demonstrated it on the cross. Don’t let this grace and this great mercy and this greatest blessing pass you by. I pray you will listen. Thank you for listening.

Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and grace. That Your arms are open wide, waiting for those who run to You, waiting for those who run to You. I pray that many will see this Christmas. I pray it’ll be the beginning in the lives of many. For those who have stopped celebrating Christmas will... will begin again.

For, after all, what harm does it do to you to celebrate the Lord’s Birthday on Christmas? What harm does it do to you? But it does you harm by not doing it, it blesses you.

So, I care about you, which is why I speak the truth. Which is why I do the Lord’s will. Because I love Him and I love you. So I pray you will listen. And I thank the Lord for every single one who will listen.
