Let Us Dress The Bride Of Christ

Lord, thank You for this day and thank You for Revelation 19 that You want us to read today.

Lord, thank You for loving us and thank You for everything that You’re teaching us today.

Thank You for what You want to give us. Lord, we love You, and we bless You, and we’re here to hear what You have to say.

So thank You, God, for Your Holy Spirit to guide me, to bring to us what You want Him to give us today.

Thank You, God. Thank You, Father God Almighty. Thank You, Lord Jesus and Your Holy Spirit of Truth, my Helper, thank You. Thank You for guiding us with Revelation 19, and help us to receive what You’re giving us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Songs of Victory in Heaven

After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in Heaven shouting,

“Praise the Lord!

Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.

His judgments are true and just.

He has punished the great prostitute

who corrupted the earth with her immorality.

He has avenged the murder of His servants.”

And again their voices rang out:

“Praise the Lord!

The smoke from that city ascends forever and ever!”

Then the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshiped God, who was sitting on the throne. They cried out, “Amen! Praise the Lord!”

And from the throne came a voice that said,

“Praise our God,

all His servants,

all who fear Him,

from the least to the greatest.”

Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loudthunder:

“Praise the Lord!

For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice,

and let us give honor to Him.

For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb,

and His Bride has prepared Herself.

She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”

For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.

So as we can see here, from verse 7-8, “For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb,

and His Bride has prepared Herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”

For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.”

So, let’s all remember that the Bride of our Lord here is not like the human bride of man, but is the New Jerusalem. And she has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.

So let’s just see on the last day when the Lord comes and when He presents His new Jerusalem, and God, the Father, it’s the moment that He will make the Bride of His Son Jesus, come to earth.

So when we are looking at that Bride of our Lord, which is the New Jerusalem, what do we see dressed in white linen?

I’ve said, as I understood, what will be seen will be the result of what God’s people have done, though the beautiful New Jerusalem, the Bride of our God, will be dressed with the good deeds of God’s people. So what we do now matters. For everything that we do that is good is already dressing up the New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ. So every good thing that we do by obeying God, we are contributing to the building of New Jerusalem. But God has built it, and we have dressed it with our good doings, our obedience to God.

So isn’t it great that we look at something knowing that “Yes, the life I lived has contributed to this dress of the bride: the way I behave, the way I serve the Lord, the way I let Him use me to produce good fruit, has dressed the New Jerusalem.” So, isn’t that something great? I’m looking forward to that.

So, yes. So this is to encourage us to do something. We want to have a place there, we want to do something to contribute to the dressing up the Lord’s Bride, the New Jerusalem, so that we will say, “Okay, this part here is the part that I dressed and that part there is a part that you dressed and that part there is a part that you dressed,” and many believers who are taken by the Lord and raptured will finally see New Jerusalem. Each one will say, “Yes, I am here because I have contributed to the Bride of Christ to the dress.” So yes, and you’ll be able to say,

“My work that I did has contributed to this part of the dress of the Bride, and the work that you did has contributed to that part, and everyone’s contribution has dressed the Bride.”

And now the Bride of Christ is coming, dressing in our good work, for the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. So yes, let’s contribute. Let’s listen to our God and ask Him, “What can I do to dress Your Bride? What can we do, Lord? I want to be part of it.” Yes. That is a... It’s a beautiful thing to be part of.

Amen.

See, the sins build the kingdom of the devil and dress Satan. But the beautiful things that we do, the obedience that we do to God, dress instead the New Jerusalem, the Bride of our Lord Jesus Christ.

‘He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God.’

‘Now, who is going to battle dressed in white, pure white!’

‘Christ! Because He’s not.’

‘Also the people behind Him, the host of Heaven, all dressed in white.’

‘Because they’re not going to be dirty! God… Christ is in the front, and He’s going to blow, He’s going to blow everyone off with His mighty Breath…’

‘It is like He calls the whole army, but He doesn’t even need them.’

‘Yes, like He... you know, it’s like going to war and… and put on your best suit, and you return as you went. With no dust. With nothing that has stained it.’

“He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress.” That’s a nice simile and I like that. “On His robe at His thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.”

“Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky: “Come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared.”

‘So, God even gives the vultures a banquet with the dead bodies?’

‘Of course, that is their celebration!’

“Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army. And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both thebeast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.”

‘That’s a sight to see!’

‘Amen’

So that is the story, the true story that the Lord is reminding us today. The Lord has spoken. So it will happen as He Hasspoken.

So yes, we have heard it. But what the message God is giving us here before we get there to that day, it matters what we do now, what we do now will define where we end up being, and if we are not taken up in the clouds with Him, we cannot be part of all these beautiful things. So God is practically just saying,

‘Yes, this is what’s going to happen, but you have a part to play. Look at the Bride, the New Jerusalem. Do you want to be part of it by dressing the Bride; the New Jerusalem? You want to dress it? You want to live in it?’

Then, we work while we’re here; we do what the Lord says. By obeying Him, He’s building the New Jerusalem, and byobeying Him, we are building it with Him.

Right. It’s like someone is getting married, and you decide to buy a handbag, and somebody else decides to buy the suits, and another one decides to buy the shoes, and another one decides to buy jewellery or any other things that you need to help the bride and the groom. So, you have contributed to that wedding, and the bride and the groom are standing there because you have contributed to it by dressing the bride.

So yes, what we do matters. What we do matters. We have to obey the One who’s building the Kingdom.

‘Your Kingdom Come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.’

We have to obey the One who’s bringing the Kingdom here on earth. That’s what the Father does. He wants to do things with His children. So He wants us to be part of it. So what we do now matters.

Lord, thank You so much for these teachings. Please help us to see; help everyone to see that everything is just love, Your love for us and what You bring us, what You want us to have so that we can be with You, because You love us. And I pray that You open the eyes of the blind, that You open the hearts of the ones who have let their hearts hardened so that they can feel Your love and see what You’re showing them. So that they can hear what You’re saying, and listen to it, and do it. Then they will be so happy.

We may not always be happy on this earth because of so many things going on, but we are speaking here about a hope, the beautiful hope, so sure, a beautiful hope that will bring eternal happiness, eternal rest, eternal beauty. With no evil one. With no heartache, with nothing evil trying to take the part of it.

So please, Lord God, thank You for the great things that You do and thank You for every single one You help to understand and You help to bring them to You.

We love You, and we thank You, and we praise You.

We glorify You because You are good always, and we want to be just like You.

Thank You, Lord God, for Your grace and Your mercy and Your love, and Your deliverance from evil.

Father God, please hear my prayer in the name of Your Son Jesus.
